  1. Amen. God is good. Amen. We're going to be coming

  2. out of Matthew chapter 7. Amen. Amen. We're going to

    Matthew 7 chapter mention

  3. come out of Matthew chapter 7. We're going to start

    Matthew 7 chapter mention

  4. at verse 13. But let us go to the throne

  5. of grace. Father God, we come once more again in

  6. the name of Jesus. We come, God, to hear a

  7. word from you today. Amen. We didn't come for no shape, form,

  8. or fashion. But we came, God, because we need you.

  9. We came, God, because we have to have you. We came, God,

  10. because we can't do it without you. We need you, Lord,

  11. in our lives always. And we know that you said

  12. that you should never leave us nor forsake us. We

  13. know and we understand that the leaving is on our side.

  14. But help us to stay, Holy Spirit. Help us to

  15. hold on to that true faith. true God of heaven.

  16. There is no other God besides him. There never will

  17. be any other God besides him. We believe upon him.

  18. Our faith is in him, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  19. And we give all to him today as we do

  20. every day in the name of Jesus. Help us, Lord.

  21. Lead us. Guide us. We'll follow. When we fall short,

  22. help us to get up. Help us to brush ourselves off.

  23. And we just thank you for your divine covering and

  24. your divine covering, your divine word and your divine help

  25. in our lives. Then as your word goes forth, use me, Lord,

  26. as your servant. It is an honor to be a

  27. servant of the Lord. And I thank you, Lord, that

  28. you allow me to be that. And I ask that

  29. you cover the people and open up their ears and

  30. eyes that they may come to know what you're speaking

  31. directly to them. and collectively to each and every one

  32. of us. In Jesus' holy name, we ask you bind

  33. that spirit of the enemy, cast it out of this place,

  34. fill it with your Holy Spirit where there's no room

  35. for any evil to get in, and fill these temples

  36. that stand here today, God, with your spirit running over.

  37. In Jesus' name, and the church said thank God. Amen

  38. and amen. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. I was prompted by God, amen,

  39. because of the things that I see. And God shows

  40. us things for a reason, amen. There's a narrow way

  41. and there's a broad way. I don't mean broad way

  42. like Hollywood either. I mean broad, meaning wide, amen. Amen.

  43. But there's also a narrow way. But we, in this society,

  44. believe that there's many ways. The Bible only speaks of

  45. two ways. I heard that woman called Oprah Winfrey tell

  46. her whole audience that there were many ways to get

  47. to Jesus, to get to God. But there's not many ways.

  48. There's only two ways. And one of those ways ain't

  49. going to get you to him. There's only one way

  50. to get to him. Not many ways. But looking at

  51. society today, I was looking for something to give to

  52. the people that was compatible to the understanding of the day.

  53. And the Lord... Show me in my spirit what is

  54. compatible today. I'll tell you what is compatible today and

  55. what God showed me. God's will. That's what's compatible. But

  56. there are many who believe that God's will is their

  57. will and that God is pleased with what they're doing

  58. outside of what God told them to do. Truly, that's error. Amen?

  59. But we're living in a time where denomination, which has

  60. always been dangerous because it's divided and it's division, and

  61. denomination is not of God. Amen, somebody? Amen, somebody? It's

  62. not of God. Denomination teaches, different denominations teach different things.

  63. They have denominational... and different denominations. We believe in blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

  64. You hear him say that.

  65. And we believe in blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But

  66. all of us should believe in one thing. We should

  67. believe in him, Jesus Christ.

  68. There is no, and I do mean no, denomination in

  69. the New Testament. Since everybody wants to believe in the

  70. New Testament, there's no denomination in it. So, in saying

  71. all of that, there's only one authority in religion if

  72. we want to please God. There's only one authority. Not

  73. many authorities. Because, see, denominational teaching... teaches that there are

  74. many authorities in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Well, our

  75. pastor said, well, the bishop told me, where the Bible

  76. said that the preacher said, the apostle of our church said,

  77. what Jesus said. Because whatever Jesus said is what's true.

  78. Are you hearing me? Jesus is the only authority. They

  79. don't have an authority. How can they be the authority

  80. when the Bible tells us that all that's in authority,

  81. God put them in authority? If you're already in authority,

  82. why somebody got to put you there? The authority put

  83. you there to minister his authority, not yours. So I

  84. was moved with this because it's sad and dangerous that

  85. there are many in the world today believing that they're

  86. doing the will of God. Many preachers, now there's a

  87. whole lot of them joking behind that pulpit. They know

  88. they ain't doing God's will. They doing their own will

  89. for their own selfish desires and their own account. But

  90. there are those preachers that are believing because of what

  91. they've been taught in denominational that they're doing the will

  92. of God. The Jehovah Witness believe they're doing the will

  93. of Jehovah, but they're not because they're a cult. And

  94. all these denominations believe they're doing the will of God

  95. by the teaching that they're getting from denominational teaching, but

  96. they're a cult. Amen, somebody? See, this is hard stuff

  97. right here. Because you will believe that because they're standing

  98. in behind this podium in a Baptist church, in a

  99. church of God in Christ. Well, the Catholic is totally

  100. demonic anyway. From the beginning. Teaching these things, reading from

  101. this Bible, and because you're not studying and showing yourself approved,

  102. it sounds like God. I was out of town last Sunday.

  103. I wasn't here. And I was ministering to some family members.

  104. We was all over to my auntie's house after the, we, maybe,

  105. was that before or after? That I was ministering to

  106. my cousin. After we had the memorial celebration for my grandmother.

  107. And we got, we was already talking about the Lord.

  108. And then my cousin and his fiance came in. And

  109. they was talking about they getting married. And I said,

  110. and y'all live together? And he said, yeah. I said, okay.

  111. So we ministering. He's asking. He belongs to the church

  112. that we went to that Sunday morning. That's the church

  113. he belonged to. And he was in counseling with the pastor.

  114. You hear me? He was in marriage counseling. That's going

  115. to take six weeks. Do you need six weeks for

  116. me to tell you something about marriage? So I began

  117. to minister to him because he asked. And my brother

  118. was ministering to him as well. And to make a

  119. long story short, when he began to talk, I said,

  120. you're getting the wrong counsel. I said, you're getting the

  121. wrong counsel. I said, it's one way that I know

  122. that you're really getting the wrong counsel. Because the one

  123. thing I didn't hear you say. about your counseling session.

  124. But anyway, as we was going forth in the counseling session,

  125. I asked him, did he love God? And I asked her,

  126. she said, yeah. I said, do you really love him?

  127. Y'all know how I do. I want to get deep

  128. in your heart. Do you really love him? She said, yeah.

  129. I said, do you really love him? He said, yeah.

  130. I said, then I hit him. No, you don't. They

  131. was like, I said, no, you don't. He said, yeah,

  132. we do. I said, you sleep with her? He said, yeah.

  133. He said, yeah. I said, no, you don't. See, if

  134. you loved him, you wouldn't be committing fornication. If you

  135. loved him, you would keep his commandments. And then he

  136. was like, whoa. I mean, he actually did that. He said, whoa.

  137. You know why? Because he didn't understand that he wasn't

  138. really serving God. He thought he was. And then let

  139. me go and hit you with the rest of it.

  140. His pastor in his session, he told him, because she

  141. gets mad because he sleeps on the couch, because he

  142. feels condemned. He said that when he sleeps with her. Oh,

  143. he's really seeking God. He really is. And then I

  144. went on to help him out a little bit. I said,

  145. you really do love him, but not like you should.

  146. And so I began to tell him, well, he began

  147. to convey to me that The pastor told him, he said, well,

  148. y'all well past all that. You might as well just

  149. keep sleeping with her. I said, oh, so the pastor

  150. told you just keep sinning when no man know the

  151. day of the hour. So that's what he told her.

  152. He said, y'all past all that because she pregnant. She pregnant.

  153. She had the baby yet, but she pregnant. So he said, well,

  154. you might as well keep sleeping with her because y'all

  155. past all that. So he told him, you might as

  156. well keep sinning. And this was later on because he

  157. stopped me at the door because I was really getting

  158. ready to leave and held me there for about 40

  159. minutes to an hour, still concerned about his salvation. And

  160. then he revealed that to me. I said, oh, didn't

  161. I tell you earlier? I knew what God was telling me.

  162. You're getting the wrong counselor. I kept saying that when

  163. we was in there talking, all of us. I said,

  164. you're getting the wrong counselor. I said, first of all,

  165. if you had come to me for counseling and I

  166. knew all of this, I would have told you, somebody

  167. going to have to go. Somebody got to go. You're

  168. still sleeping in the bed with her. But you feel

  169. the presence of God because you're feeling condemned. That's why

  170. you're leaving the bedroom to sleep on the couch. But

  171. the pastor told him... Just keep on doing it. Y'all

  172. passed all that. Wrong counsel. You see, there are those

  173. because of wrong teaching and understanding believing they're doing the

  174. will of God and they're not. Believing they're in right

  175. standards with God but they're not. Believing that they love

  176. God with their whole heart but they don't. I say

  177. what you got for God is a filial love, not agape. See,

  178. agape love says no matter what But a filial says, well,

  179. there's a condition on this thing. Yeah. So in saying

  180. all that, I ain't even read scripture yet. There's a

  181. narrow way and there's a broad way. And if you

  182. don't get it together, the broad way will be your path.

  183. But when you got it together, the narrow way would

  184. be your path. You see, nobody wants to go the

  185. narrow way. It's too troubling. It's too narrow. Can't sit

  186. through here. But the irony of it is this. I

  187. don't care how big you are. If you're going down

  188. the narrow way, your big old butt don't slide through there.

  189. God gonna grease up the wall so you can slide

  190. on through. You hear what I'm saying? He'll grease them

  191. walls up. You're 600 pounds. You're going to grease. You're

  192. going to slide on through there. But the broad way,

  193. you're going to flop and flip. Ain't nothing to stop you.

  194. God says in verse 13 of chapter 7 of Matthews,

  195. I got to read some of this because, you know,

  196. you got people that they're hooked on programming. Amen. They're

  197. hooked on programming and tradition and custom. So you got

  198. to read the scripture for the scholars. Amen. He ain't

  199. even read no scripture this morning. I told you all

  200. about the scripture. You weren't paying attention because I didn't

  201. do what your custom and tradition want me to do.

  202. Enter you in there at the straight gate. This is

  203. the door. The straight gate is Jesus Christ. For wide

  204. is the gate and broad is the way that leads

  205. to destruction. And many there be which go in their act. Many.

  206. Because straight is the gate and narrow is the way

  207. which leads into life. And few there be that find it.

  208. Beware of false prophets. which come to you in sheep's clothing,

  209. but inwardly they are raving wolves. So they look like

  210. a sheep, but on the inside they're a wolf. So

  211. that's why you got to be spiritual. That's why you

  212. got to be prayed up. That's why you got to

  213. be scripturally read and understood so that you can see

  214. right through the sheep's clothing if it's a wolf on

  215. the other side. You should know them by the fruits.

  216. Do men gather grapes? of thorns, of figs, of thistles.

  217. In other words, it's impossible for a false prophet or

  218. teacher of doctrine to bring forth good fruit. It's impossible

  219. because they're false. Even so, every good tree brings forth

  220. good fruit. Every good tree brings forth good fruit. But

  221. a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. See, a good

  222. tree brings forth Christ-likeness. A corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit, self-likeness.

  223. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can

  224. a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Can't happen. Impossible.

  225. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hen

  226. down and cast into the fire. In other words, the

  227. ultimate judgment comes against them and against that gospel and

  228. doctrine that they're ministering to you. Wherefore, by their fruits

  229. ye shall know them. You're going to know them by

  230. their fruits. Now, not everyone who says unto me, Lord, Lord. See,

  231. that Lord, Lord part right there, that's a plead. That's

  232. somebody pleading. Yes. shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.

  233. But he who does the will of my Father, which

  234. is in heaven, many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,

  235. it's a plea. Have we not prophesied? Now look here,

  236. these people weren't bad. These people weren't believed to be

  237. bad people. They just wasn't doing the will of God.

  238. They believed that they were, but they weren't. Have I

  239. not prophesied in your name? And in your name have

  240. cast out devils. They're asking a question. And in your

  241. name done many wonderful works. But those things that they're

  242. mentioning are not the criteria for the will of God

  243. and for the will of following Jesus Christ. Amen? But

  244. rather faith in Christ and what Christ has done. You

  245. can't be... Boastful, did not cast out. I did those things.

  246. Those ain't the criteria. That's not the criteria God's calling on.

  247. And then, will I profess unto them, I never knew you.

  248. Depart from me, you who were iniquity. My God, that

  249. right there. It's something don't nobody in this house want

  250. to hear. Nobody wants to. You know what's happening right there?

  251. When Jesus is telling them, depart from me, you workers

  252. of iniquity, he's denying them. And the reason why he's

  253. denying them, because they denied him. That's why they've been denied.

  254. Because they denied him. Amen? So, I was prone to

  255. this because, and I'm going to be quick as God

  256. allowed me to be with the rest of this. I

  257. just want to drop that in your spirit because, again,

  258. I say, we're living in a hairy up world. And

  259. our focus is here and here and here and here

  260. and here everywhere because so many things are pulling on

  261. our focus. But we got to stay focused on doing

  262. God's will no matter what everybody else is doing. So

  263. many Christians want to do what everybody else is doing

  264. because of what's coming and what's already here and what's

  265. about to come. Amen? So it's really a fearful act

  266. and not a faithful act. So Well, maybe I should

  267. believe this. That's how I was about right right there.

  268. It's okay to go to visit other churches. And some

  269. leave and go to other churches. And some leave and

  270. go to other churches because they can't hold on to

  271. what is true. And some go to other churches. I

  272. heard a man say, basically, I'm not comfortable here because

  273. the truth was going forth. He wanted to go somewhere

  274. where his children can play and where he can be

  275. comfortable and his wife can be comfortable. They don't want

  276. to hear that. If you don't follow Christ, you're going

  277. to hell. What do you want to church for if

  278. you don't want to follow Christ? That's the whole purpose

  279. of coming. I'm confused. Yeah, watch TV. And that's what

  280. most people believe also. I'm glad she brought that up.

  281. Most folks believe they don't have to come up in here.

  282. I ministered to a young lady when I was waiting

  283. on my rental car one time, and she was talking about,

  284. I ain't got to go to church. I don't go

  285. to church because of this, because of that, because of this.

  286. And I was like, yeah, well, you know, it's a

  287. commandment that you go to church. And well, I don't know.

  288. I said, I read it to her. I said, I'm

  289. going to tell you about it. I'm going to show

  290. it to you, and I'm going to read it to you,

  291. but you still ain't going to adhere to it. I

  292. already see it because you're comfortable in what you're doing.

  293. You're comfortable. I don't want to go because this one

  294. and that one I said, so you just let folk

  295. run you away from places. No. And then when you

  296. say stuff like that, now you're dealing, you know, you're

  297. dealing with a pride now. No, ain't nobody running me.

  298. Not really recognizing, oh, yeah, there they are. That's why

  299. you ain't there, because you just said so. But we

  300. have to understand, so I stay home and I watch TV.

  301. How you know the televangelist is really giving you the

  302. word of God? How you know what he's really teaching

  303. you is really God. She said, I can learn the

  304. Bible on my own. I said, really? I said, but

  305. what kind of Bible you got? Because my Bible said

  306. the Holy Ghost will teach you all things. If you

  307. can learn it on your own. See, I was knocking

  308. her block off in that parking lot. By the help

  309. of the Lord. Where it got to a point, she

  310. wanted to leave it alone. And that's what happens when

  311. people go to certain ministries. They ain't comfortable. There's two uncomforts, though. One,

  312. if you in the church, they ain't doing what God

  313. say do. One, you in the church, they do say

  314. God say do, and you don't want to do that.

  315. So the Bible must be our only authority in religion

  316. if we want to please God and go to heaven

  317. and go to heaven. We do want to please God,

  318. don't we? So we must give up all the various

  319. false doctrines that propagate the many different kinds of denominations.

  320. What does that mean? That means that reproduce are caused

  321. to produce are the cause to spread the wrong doctrines.

  322. And go back to only the Bible. There were no

  323. denominations in the New Testament. There was no denomination in

  324. the New Testament times and there would be none today

  325. if only the Bible was taught and practiced. Because not

  326. only the Bible is taught and practiced, we got all

  327. these denominations. There will be only the Lord's one true church,

  328. the church of Christ. That's all it would be, but

  329. it's not. There's many different named so-called churches and many

  330. different At the bottom of the sign in many churches,

  331. it says founder, doctor, MMD, whatever the initials they use,

  332. bachelor's degree and all that stuff, pumping their own self up. Founder. No,

  333. Jesus Christ founded the church. That's what it should say. Founder,

  334. Jesus Christ. So the question is, how do we make

  335. sure that we are among the few who are saved

  336. and not among the many who are lost? How do

  337. you make sure of that? Well, Jesus, in the book

  338. of Matthew, chapter 7, 22-23, tells us. He says, not

    Matthew 7 chapter mention

  339. everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the

  340. kingdom of heaven. Now, here we go. But he who

  341. does the will of my Father. There you go. That's

  342. how you're going to make sure you're saved and not

  343. among the lost. By doing the will of the Father

  344. in heaven. Many will say to me in that day

  345. with a plead, Lord, Lord. Have we not prophesied in

  346. your name and cast out demons in your name? And

  347. there are many wonders in your name. And then I

  348. would declare to them, I never knew you. The part,

  349. not only did I never knew you, he didn't just

  350. say I never knew you, he said you get on

  351. the way. I don't want Jesus to tell me to

  352. get away. That would hurt my feelings. That would hurt

  353. my soul. Not my feelings, my soul. To the marrow

  354. of my bone. I'll fall apart. My skin will probably

  355. come off my bones. Amen. He said, depart from me.

  356. I never knew you. He said, depart. Never knew you.

  357. Depart from me. And then he going to call me out.

  358. You who practice iniquity. If you believe and call Jesus Lord, Lord,

  359. you are still lost if you do not do what

  360. God says. You call him Lord, Lord all you want to.

  361. You call him Jesus, I love you. But if you

  362. don't do his will, you're lost. If we are not

  363. obeying God, we are practicing lawlessness. If we ever hope

  364. to go to heaven, we must do the will of

  365. the Father. If we ever hope to go to heaven

  366. by the hope of glory, we must do the will

  367. of God, the Father. This is the only way, not

  368. the will of men, But God's will, not the will

  369. of your own will, but God's will. You see, just

  370. because we call Jesus our Lord, this will not save us.

  371. Jesus says in the in the scripture that I just

  372. read to you that on the day of judgment that

  373. many will be pleading with him. calling him Lord, Lord,

  374. and reminding him of many wonderful works that they had

  375. done in his name. But he was saying to them,

  376. I never knew you, depart from me, you who practice

  377. and work lawlessness, you who are workers of iniquity. Why?

  378. I told you earlier in Sunday school, there's always a why. Why?

  379. You got to know why. That's what it said. You

  380. got to know why. Because they had not done the

  381. will of the Father. That's why. He told them to depart.

  382. They had not done the will of the Father in heaven. Oh,

  383. they thought they had. But they hadn't. They were not prophesied.

  384. They thought they did it. They would do wonderful works.

  385. They thought they did it. They would cast out demons.

  386. They thought they did it, but they hadn't. But they

  387. hadn't done his will. They had done their own will.

  388. Or the will of some other man. See, that's what

  389. we do. My pastor told me to, what did God

  390. tell you? My pastor told me to come and tell you,

  391. what did God tell you? Did God lead you to

  392. tell me that? Because guess what? It ain't true. So

  393. it must have been the pastor, not God. We have

  394. to do the will of God, not the will of man.

  395. A lady told me in the church where the pastor,

  396. she was getting married. She kept talking about what the

  397. pastor said. I said, what did God say? What did

  398. God say about you marrying this man? Little did she

  399. know the man was a homosexual. I kept saying, what

  400. did God say? I couldn't tell her, but I kept saying,

  401. what did God say? Then she married the man. She

  402. wasn't married that long. They ain't married now. What did

  403. God say? Nobody care what a man said unless he

  404. said what God said. What did God say? Because if

  405. God didn't say it, you're going to hear I never

  406. knew you. You see, the never knew you will be

  407. the worst thing that will ever be said to any individual.

  408. When the Lord on judgment day says to the majority

  409. of people, not a little few, but the majority of people, depart.

  410. I never knew you. There will be no appeal. There

  411. will be no appeal to that decision. You can appeal

  412. anybody's decision just about, but not God. You can't appeal

  413. God's decision. And there will be no second chance. You know,

  414. there's a reason why there won't be a second chance,

  415. because God gave you every chance in the world. He

  416. makes sure of that. He makes very sure that you

  417. get every chance in the world. Because you don't take them,

  418. that ain't his problem. It's like the man out in

  419. the water in the flood, in the boat that's sinking.

  420. And the boat came, and he's asking God to save him.

  421. And the boat come by and said, man, get in

  422. the boat. We're heading on down. He said, no, I'm

  423. waiting on the Lord. Then the second boat come by,

  424. and he said, man, come on. I don't think there's

  425. nobody else coming this way. He said, no, I'm waiting

  426. on the Lord. And the third boat comes by, and

  427. he does the same thing. And then he passes away

  428. out there on the waters, but he goes to heaven.

  429. He said, Lord, where were you? I was looking for you.

  430. He said, man, I came back three times. Why didn't

  431. you get in the boat? See, sometimes we think we're

  432. doing the will of God, but we're not. The will

  433. of God was he got in the first boat. God

  434. sent the boat, man. So you ain't going to have

  435. no appeal when God makes his decision and judgment, and

  436. you won't get a second chance. We have to get

  437. it right the first time. This time, right now, as

  438. we breathe and live. Because the people in the scripture,

  439. they seem to be honest that we read about the

  440. ones that prophesied and cast out demons. But they were

  441. honestly mistaken. As the majority of people are today. They're

  442. honestly mistaken. Apparently they were good people. Cast out demons.

  443. Preached in his name. Did wonderful works in his name.

  444. They weren't doing no bad stuff. Except they weren't doing

  445. his will. They weren't doing his will. So they were

  446. mistakenly doing the wrong thing. Because they had not done

  447. the will of God. But because they had done many

  448. wonders of works, but they had not done the will

  449. of the Father, which is in heaven. Many generally won't

  450. To do things in their own way. And many really

  451. don't care what God think about it. We cannot obey

  452. God without doing what God says to do. You listen.

  453. You can't obey God by doing what a man tell

  454. you to do, your mama tell you to do. When

  455. it's concerning obeying God now, okay? You obey your mama,

  456. your father, and you obey people. But I'm saying when

  457. it comes to a man telling you how to obey

  458. God and your mama and daddy, if they ain't telling

  459. you how to do this word right here and they

  460. just telling you what they think is a good thing

  461. for you, whatsoever man, the Bible says not whatsoever man think,

  462. but the Bible says there's a way that seems right

  463. to a man, but therefore other ways of death. There's

  464. a way, a way, a way that seems right. It's

  465. a way that seems right. But that way leads to death.

  466. There's only one way that is right. This way don't

  467. seem right. It is right. And that's God's way. It

  468. is right. It don't seem right. It is right. Amen. Amen.

  469. So we cannot obey God without doing what God says

  470. to do. When God says to do it, how God

  471. says to do it, and for the reason God says

  472. to do it, we must obey, no matter what it is.

  473. It might not seem right to us, but if God

  474. said do it, it's right. I said it might not

  475. seem right to us. I didn't think it seemed right

  476. to me. I was sitting right there. In another building

  477. of the church on the third row. Wasn't here. It

  478. was another building. I was sitting right there on the end.

  479. While the singing group was singing. I don't call them

  480. a choir. They were heathens. And they were singing. And

  481. it was microphones here, here, here, and here. God pointed

  482. to this mic right here. And told me to take

  483. it to the piano player over there so they could

  484. hear him sing. It ain't seem right to me. I

  485. ain't getting up in the middle of the service. I

  486. look like walking up there grabbing a microphone and walking

  487. over there. Didn't seem right. But it was right. Because

  488. God told me to do it. But he's a God

  489. of a second chance. You know what happened? I'm going

  490. to tell you what happened. I told you what happened before.

  491. I'm going to tell you again. A heathen came out

  492. of the choir stand. I didn't say the choir. I

  493. said the choir stand. Grabbed as many mics. He grabbed

  494. the very mic God told me to get. You know

  495. what he did with the mic? Walked over there to

  496. the piano player. And I sat there and was like.

  497. But God's a God of second chance. And after they

  498. did what they did and they sung another song, God

  499. said it again. I got up so fast I didn't

  500. remember saying that. God's will. And I'm going to tell you,

  501. I can't stop right there. But when God tells you

  502. to do something, there's something behind it. There was a

  503. man in the building who was sitting in the back

  504. by the wall. It was far away. He was 72

  505. years old. When I took that mic over there and

  506. they could hear the piano player singing, that man was

  507. 72 years old, on a cane, got up, walked to

  508. the front of the church, and ask God to be

  509. his Lord and Savior. It might not make sense to you,

  510. but if God said it, do his will. Do his will. Amen?

  511. Do his will. Because nothing is more important than pleasing

  512. God by doing his will so that we can go

  513. to heaven. Ain't nothing more important in this life. The

  514. movies is nice. Amen. Going out of town is nice.

  515. Going to the fair is nice. Going to the circus

  516. is nice. Going to other countries is nice. But ain't

  517. nothing greater than going to heaven. Ain't nothing greater than

  518. going to heaven. And all those things I said pleases you.

  519. But doing God's will pleases him so you can go

  520. to heaven, which is the ultimate place to go. And

  521. guess what? It's not a vacation. It's permanent. So we

  522. have to learn from the scriptures that's been exposed to

  523. us in this service that we don't go to heaven

  524. by doing the will of men or by doing what

  525. we think is right. The only way we can go

  526. to heaven is by doing the will of the Father

  527. and that the will be found right in our Bibles. See,

  528. that will is found right in our Bibles. This is

  529. the will of God. It ain't in a man unless

  530. he got it out of here. Our woman, but the

  531. will is the Bible. Do we really know what the

  532. will of the Father is so that we can be sure? See,

  533. you got to be sure of going to heaven. Because

  534. you know what? This is too important. It's too important

  535. of a matter to assume that we do have to

  536. take someone else's word for what God's will is. It's

  537. too important of a matter. We got to get the Bible.

  538. We got to get the Bible. Do we really know

  539. what the Bible says? that God wants us to do

  540. in order to be saved? Do we? What must I

  541. do to be saved? It's a very important question. People

  542. have taken this salvation loosely. Some folks have believed that

  543. they have gotten saved, but they hadn't. They got emotionally

  544. filled and did something emotionally and not spiritually. They meant somebody.

  545. Many people will answer this question in many different ways,

  546. but there's only one way. The many different denominations give

  547. us many different and conflicting answers of what must you

  548. do to be saved. How can you get so many

  549. different answers of what you must do to be saved?

  550. That's a conflict in itself. That's a 20,000 million billion

  551. trillion flag. They all fly up at the same time.

  552. How can there be so many different ways to be saved?

  553. Only God's way is correct. That's only one way. There's

  554. not many different ways. The Bible is the only reliable

  555. source we can go to for our answers. Not just

  556. how can I be saved, but how must I live?

  557. What must I do? How can I do it? How

  558. should I approach this? What should I say? It's the

  559. answer to all of our questions. We just don't depend

  560. on it for all of our answers. But it got

  561. our answers to every question. There ain't a question you

  562. can ask that's not in this Bible. It's in here.

  563. You see, since this Bible... It is our soul that

  564. if we don't take our answers from, it's our soul

  565. that's going to be lost. You can't buy another soul.

  566. Can't nobody give you another soul. You can't get another

  567. soul like you can get another heart. Amen, somebody. You

  568. can't get another soul like you can get another liver.

  569. you don't have but one soul. And once it's corrupt

  570. and gone, it's over. But if it's corrupt and you're

  571. still here, it can be fixed. It can be fixed. Amen?

  572. But you only get one soul. And you don't want

  573. it to be lost. It's going to be lost, though,

  574. if you follow man's advice. See, our obedience to Christ

  575. is a very serious decision and must not be taken lightly.

  576. You make the decision to be obedient to Christ when

  577. you are in a service, when you're at home, when

  578. you're on the streets, when you're in the grocery store,

  579. and you decide by the leading of the Lord, here

  580. I am, Lord, take me, save me, deliver me from myself.

  581. So now you done made a decision to obey Jesus Christ.

  582. You made a decision to be faithful to him. Amen?

  583. You made that decision when you did that. And you

  584. can't take it lightly. Some people, they claim to be

  585. saved and when they mess up 20,000 times in the

  586. same thing, you know what they say? I'm still under construction.

  587. That's their excuse for their own. That's their comfort for themselves.

  588. There's a TV host. that always says, I ain't going

  589. to mention his name because he's a TV host. I'm

  590. still under construction. And I look at him and I say, man,

  591. you ain't even broke ground. You ain't broke ground. Every

  592. day you go home, you got a whole wine cellar

  593. in your house. You got a whole bar. You got

  594. a bar in your house that's better than the club.

  595. You got the most expensive wine, you got the most

  596. expensive gin and whiskey in your house greater than a

  597. bar outside our club. You got a cigar room in

  598. your house, but you under construction. No, sir, you have

  599. not yet built the foundation. The ground ain't even been broken.

  600. There's still grass and humps and bumps and rocks and

  601. forest laying on the ground. You ain't cleared the land.

  602. You ain't under construction. You're under destruction. Thank you, brother.

  603. And he say that believing. He ministers to people about

  604. what God may be saying to them. But you can

  605. lead people to Christ and go to hell. I want

  606. you to know just because you lead folks to Christ

  607. don't mean you going. A whole lot of people that

  608. led folks to Christ and wound up in hell. He

  609. tell folks about Jesus this and Jesus that and he'll

  610. bless you here and bless you there, but he going

  611. to hell if he don't change his ways. You ain't

  612. started nothing. You ain't even broke ground, brother. You ain't

  613. cleared the land. You see, it's another example of individuals

  614. believing they doing the will of God, but they're not.

  615. You can't fool yourself because who going to bring you

  616. around but God? And he's fooling himself. See, it must

  617. be on the lowest terms as laid out in the

  618. scriptures and not on our own terms. Amen? We've already

  619. read the scriptures in Matthew. Only a few will be saved.

  620. And many will be lost. And only those who do

  621. the will of the Father can go to heaven. And

  622. we read in 1 John 1, 2, and 4, he

  623. who says, I know him... and does not keep his commandments,

  624. God said he a liar. He's a liar and the

  625. truth is not in him. A liar is a pretty

  626. strong word to say in pretty strong language. A person

  627. is a liar to himself and everyone else who says

  628. he knows and loves God but does not keep his commandments,

  629. we know that a liar cannot go to heaven. So,

  630. in conclusion, we must do all of God's will. We

  631. must do all of God's will so that we can

  632. go to heaven. There is no other way. There's no

  633. other way to get to heaven. Those that do the

  634. will of my Father. That's what Jesus said. No single

  635. condition that God imposes can be ignored. Amen. Well, that's

  636. just a little thing. No, it can't be ignored. But

  637. it's real small. It can't be ignored. God has no

  638. non-essential commands. When we don't obey a command of God,

  639. we have just broken it. When you don't obey it,

  640. you're broken. Many people think that God will save them

  641. no matter what. No matter if they follow God's specific

  642. instructions or what they must do to be saved or not.

  643. Some people believe that. You got churches that teach that.

  644. I know you're a homosexual, but God loves you. You

  645. still going to go to heaven. Liar. It's a lie.

  646. They teach that. You hear me? They teach it in

  647. churches in this America and other countries. I just heard

  648. the other day when I was looking at and they

  649. was talking about how they don't believe that God. Basically,

  650. they don't believe God word is true. Because they believe

  651. they can still do whatever they do. And because he's

  652. a loving God, they're going to make it to heaven.

  653. He's going to stay a loving God whether you go

  654. to heaven or hell. And if you go to hell,

  655. he's going to still love you. So many people think

  656. that God will save them no matter if they follow

  657. God's specific instructions on what they must do to be saved.

  658. Are not. So what then is God's will? So that

  659. we can go to heaven. and not have to endure

  660. eternal punishment forever and ever. That's why it's called eternal punishment,

  661. because it's forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

  662. It don't stop. What must we do? I'll tell you

  663. what you must do. You will find the answer in

  664. the Bible. You want to go to heaven? Then you

  665. must do God's will. Amen? Amen. Give God a hand.

  666. Come on. Amen. Amen. Amen. Want to go to heaven?

  667. Want to go to heaven? Everybody think they're going to heaven.

  668. And there are some people that think people that died

  669. a hellacious life, they believe they're in heaven. You got preachers.

  670. I was talking to somebody the other day, my auntie cousin,

  671. I don't know which one, she died in the hospital

  672. long ago. the sister or cousin of my mother-in-law. I

  673. never knew who she really was when I said cousin

  674. or sister. So she died the other day and the

  675. doctor came and he said, sorry for your loss. I said,

  676. I appreciate that. He said, but she's in a better place.

  677. I said, is she? I don't know that. I don't

  678. know that. I didn't know her like that and what

  679. she believed about God. So My point is this. She

  680. may be in a better place, but my point is this.

  681. People are so quick to tell people they're in a

  682. better place. This man died in a robbery. Shot in

  683. the head, died immediately. Oh, but he in a better place. Huh?

  684. This one died of an overdose immediately. This one died,

  685. went off a bridge, car blew up, and they died.

  686. Right after, they just got through cussing everybody out. and

  687. stealing out of the house, and that's why they cussed

  688. them out. But they sit up here, and the preacher said,

  689. we're in a better place. Those preachers, so many of

  690. them preachers are liars. They are liars and don't know

  691. they're lying. But they're lying for the comfort of the family.

  692. So what are they doing? They're compromising. They're compromising. We

  693. don't compromise the gospel. They're compromising. Why? Why? Because they

  694. don't want the family to feel bad. I'm not going

  695. to be doing no funeral. Because see, first of all,

  696. if I'm doing a funeral, they ain't in no better place.

  697. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Let me break it

  698. down to you and then I'm done. If I'm doing

  699. a funeral, if I'm doing a funeral, they ain't in

  700. no better place. But if I'm doing a home going,

  701. they ain't in a better place. That's the difference. That's

  702. the difference. Amen? Amen. Let us stand to our feet.
