  1. Ephesians Ephesians one paul An Apostle of Christ Jesus by

  2. the will of God to the saints who are in

  3. Ephesus and are faithful in Christ Jesus, Grace to you

  4. and peace from God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

  5. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

  6. who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing

  7. in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in

  8. Him before the foundation of the world, that we should

  9. be holy and blameless before Him in love, he predestined

  10. us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to

  11. the purpose of his will, to the praise of his

  12. glorious grace with which He has blessed us in the beloved.

  13. In Him, we have redemption through his blood good the

  14. forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

  15. which he lavished upon us in all wisdom and insight,

  16. making known to us the mystery of his will, according

  17. to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as

  18. a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all

  19. things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth

  20. in Him. We have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined

  21. according to the purpose of Him who works all things

  22. according to the counsel of his will, so that we,

  23. who were the first to hope in Christ, might be

  24. to the praise of His glory in him. You also,

  25. when you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of

  26. your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the

  27. promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance

  28. until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of

  29. His glory. For this reason, because as I have heard

  30. of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love

  31. toward all the saints, I do not cease to give

  32. thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the

  33. God of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory,

  34. may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation

  35. in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your

  36. hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope

  37. to which He has called you, What are the riches

  38. of His glorious inheritance in the saints, And what is

  39. the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe

  40. according to the working of his great might that he

  41. worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead

  42. and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places.

  43. Far above all rule.

  44. And authority, and power and dominion, and above every name

  45. that is named, not only in this age, but also

  46. in the one to come. And he put all things

  47. under his feet and gave him as head over all

  48. things to the Church, which is his body, the fullness

  49. of Him who fills all in all Ephesians two. And

  50. you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which

  51. you once walked, following the course of this world, following

  52. the prince of the power of the air, the spirit

  53. that is now at work in the sons of disobedience,

  54. among whom we all once lived in the passions of

  55. our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and

  56. the mind, and were by nature children of wrath like

  57. the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy,

  58. because of the great love with which he loved us,

  59. even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us

  60. a lie together with Christ. By grace you have been saved,

  61. and raised us up with him and seated us with

  62. him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, so that

  63. in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches

  64. of His grace and kindness toward us in Christ Jesus,

  65. for by grace you have been saved through faith. And

  66. this is not your own doing. It is the gift

  67. of God, not a result of works, so that no

  68. one may boast, For we are His workmanship, created in

  69. Christ Jesus, for good works which God prepared beforehand, that

  70. we should walk in them. Therefore, remember that at one time,

  71. you gentiles in the flesh called the uncircumcision, by what

  72. is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh

  73. by hands. Remember that you were at that time separated

  74. from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers

  75. to the covenants of having no hope and without.

  76. God in the world.

  77. But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off,

  78. had been brought near by the blood of Christ. For

  79. He himself is our peace, who has made us both one,

  80. and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall

  81. of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances,

  82. that He might create in himself one new man in

  83. place of the two so making peace and might reconcile

  84. us both to God in one body through the cross,

  85. thereby killing the hostility. And he came and preached peace

  86. to you who were far off, and peace to those

  87. who were near, For through him we both have access

  88. in one spirit to the Father.

  89. So then you.

  90. Are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow

  91. citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.

  92. Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ

  93. Jesus himself being the cornerstone in whom the whole structure,

  94. being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.

  95. In him, you also are being built together into a

  96. dwelling place for God by the spirit.

  97. Ephesians three.

  98. For this reason, I Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus

  99. on behalf of you gentiles, assuming that you have heard

  100. of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to

  101. me for you, how the mystery was made known to

  102. me by revelation, as I have written briefly. When you

  103. read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery

  104. of Christ, which was not made known to the sons

  105. of men in other generations, as it has now been

  106. revealed to His Holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.

  107. This mystery is that the gentiles are fellow heirs, members

  108. of the same body, and partakers of the promise in

  109. Christ Jesus.

  110. Through the Gospel.

  111. Of this Gospel, I was made a minister according to

  112. the gift of God's grace, which was given me by

  113. the working of His power to me, though I am

  114. the very least of all the saints. This grace was

  115. given to preach to the gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

  116. and to bring to light for everyone. What is the

  117. plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who

  118. created all things, so that through the Church, the manifold

  119. wisdom of God might now be made known to the

  120. rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according

  121. to the eternal purpose that He has realized in Christ Jesus,

  122. our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with

  123. confidence through our faith in Him. So I ask you

  124. not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you,

  125. which is your glory. For this reason I bow my

  126. knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven

  127. and on.

  128. Earth is named, that.

  129. According to the riches of His glory, he may grant

  130. you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in

  131. your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your

  132. hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

  133. may have strength to comprehend with all the saints. What

  134. is the breadth and length, and height and depth, And

  135. to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that

  136. you may be filled with all.

  137. The fullness of God. Now to him who is able to.

  138. Do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think.

  139. According to the power at work within us.

  140. To Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus,

  141. throughout all generations, forever and ever.

  142. Amen Ephesians.

  143. For I, therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you

  144. to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to

  145. which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness,

  146. with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to

  147. maintain the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.

  148. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you

  149. were called to the one hope that belongs to your call.

  150. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father

  151. of all who is over all and through all, and

  152. in all, but grace was given to each one of

  153. us according to the measure of Christ's gift.

  154. Therefore, it says, when.

  155. He ascended on high, he led a host of captives,

  156. and he gave gifts to men.

  157. In saying he ascended, what does it mean but that

  158. he had also descended into the lower regions the earth.

  159. He who descended is the one who also ascended far

  160. above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.

  161. And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds,

  162. and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry,

  163. for building up the body of Christ, until we all

  164. attain to the unity of the faith and of the

  165. knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood to

  166. the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

  167. so that we may no longer be children tossed to

  168. and fro by the waves, and carried about by every

  169. wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

  170. Rather speaking the truth in love, we are to grow

  171. up in every way into Him who is the Head,

  172. into Christ, from whom the whole body joined and held

  173. together by every joint with which it is equipped. When

  174. each part is working properly, makes the body grow so

  175. that it builds itself up in love. Now this I

  176. say and testify in the Lord, that you must no

  177. longer walk as the gentiles do in the futility of

  178. their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from

  179. the life of God because of the ignorance that is

  180. in them. Due to their hardness of heart, they have

  181. become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy

  182. to practice every kind of impurity. But that is not

  183. the way you learned Christ, assuming that you have heard

  184. about Him and were taught in Him, as the truth

  185. is in Jesus. To put off your old self, which

  186. belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt

  187. through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit

  188. of your minds, and to put on the new self,

  189. created after the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore,

  190. having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak

  191. the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one

  192. of another. Be angry, and do not sin. Do not

  193. let the sun go down on your anger, and give

  194. no opportunity to the Let the thief no longer steal,

  195. but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his

  196. own hands, so that he may have something to share

  197. with anyone in need. Let no corrupting talk come out

  198. of your mouths, but only such as is good for

  199. building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give

  200. grace to those who hear. And do not grieve, the

  201. Holy Spirit of God by whom you were sealed for

  202. the day of redemption.

  203. Let all bitterness and.

  204. Wrath, and anger, and clamor and slander be put away

  205. from you, along with all malice.

  206. Be kind to.

  207. One another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ.

  208. Forgave you Ephesians five.

  209. Therefore, be imitators of God as beloved children, and walk

  210. in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up

  211. for us a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But

  212. sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even

  213. be named among you, as is proper among saints.

  214. Let there be no filthiness, nor foolish.

  215. Talk, nor crude joking, which are out of place. But

  216. instead let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure

  217. of this that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure,

  218. or who is covetous, that is, an idolator, has no

  219. inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no

  220. one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things,

  221. the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore,

  222. do not become partners with them. For at one time

  223. you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.

  224. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of light

  225. is found in all that is good and right and true.

  226. And try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.

  227. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but

  228. instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak

  229. of the things that they do in secret. But when

  230. anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible. For

  231. anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, awake,

  232. o sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will

  233. shine on you. Look carefully, then, how you walk, not

  234. as unwise, but as wise, making the best use of

  235. the time. Because the day are evil.

  236. Therefore, do not.

  237. Be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

  238. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery.

  239. But be filled with the spirit.

  240. Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

  241. singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,

  242. giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father,

  243. in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submitting to

  244. one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives submit to

  245. your own husbands as to the Lord. For the husband

  246. is the head of the wife. Even as Christ is

  247. the head of the Church, his body, and is himself

  248. its savior. Now as the Church submits to Christ, so

  249. also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands,

  250. love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave

  251. himself up for her, that he might sank defy her,

  252. having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

  253. so that he might present the Church to himself in splendor,

  254. without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, that she

  255. might be holy and without blemish. In the same way,

  256. husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He

  257. who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever

  258. hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just

  259. as Christ does the Church, because we are members of

  260. His body.

  261. Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and

  262. hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become

  263. one flesh.

  264. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it

  265. refers to Christ and the Church. However, let each one

  266. of you love his wife as himself, and let the

  267. wife see that she respects her husband.

  268. Ephesians six.

  269. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

  270. Honor your father and mother.

  271. This is the first commandment, with a promise.

  272. That it may go well with you, and that you

  273. may live long in the land.

  274. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring

  275. them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Slaves,

  276. obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a

  277. sincere heart, as you would Christ, not by the way

  278. of eye service as people pleasers, but as servants of Christ,

  279. doing the will of God from the heart, rendering service

  280. with a good will as to the Lord and not

  281. to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does this, he

  282. will receive back from the.

  283. Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

  284. Masters do the same to them, and stop your threatening,

  285. knowing that he who is both their master and yours

  286. is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him. Finally,

  287. be strong in the Lord and in the strength of

  288. His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that

  289. you may be able to stand against the schemes of

  290. the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,

  291. but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic

  292. powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of

  293. evil in the heavenly places.

  294. Therefore, take up the.

  295. Whole armor of God, that you may be able to

  296. withstand in the evil day.

  297. And having done all.

  298. To s stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the

  299. belt of Truth, and having put on the breastplate of

  300. righteousness and that shoes for your feet, having put on

  301. the readiness given by the Gospel of Peace in all circumstances,

  302. take up the shield of faith, with which you can

  303. extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. And

  304. take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit,

  305. which is the Word of God. Praying at all times

  306. in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication to that end,

  307. keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

  308. and also for me, that words may be given to me.

  309. In opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of

  310. the Gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains,

  311. that I may declare it boldly as I ought to speak,

  312. you also may know how I am and what I

  313. am doing. Tichaicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in

  314. the Lord, will tell you everything. I have sent him

  315. to you for this very purpose, that you may know

  316. how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.

  317. Peace be to the brothers and love with faith from

  318. God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be

  319. with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ, with love

  320. incorruptible
