Where Were You? - Isaiah 30:25 (audio) - Moment of Truth Bible Baptist Church 09/13/2026

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's turn to Isaiah chapter 30 verse 25.

Isaiah 30:25

[SPEAKER_00]: And once you turn to Isaiah chapter 30 verse 25, please stand on the reading of God's Word.

[SPEAKER_00]: It says in Isaiah chapter 30 verse 25, there shall be on every high mountain and on every high hill rivers and streams of waters in the day of the Great Slotter when the tower's fall.

[SPEAKER_00]: God bless and honor the ringing was warning you, maybe seated.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were you on September 11th, 2001?

[SPEAKER_00]: We all have different stories and right now you're probably thinking of that exact moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's just a couple of you, not many, and they probably all in the back right now, who weren't alive yet, but most of us were.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we have stories, well, no.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were you at that moment of truth?

[SPEAKER_00]: When we were under attack, my father was pastor and he came here to pray.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he opened his Bible as he's praying, and he did, and he opened right to that Isaiah, chapter 30 verse 25 as he's praying.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he knew, he knew exactly what he needed to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: That night, we had a prayer service here.

[SPEAKER_00]: We all got together, most of us that could got together.

[SPEAKER_00]: We prayed for this nation.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we prayed for what to do, what's a little bit do.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there was a lot of tears.

[SPEAKER_00]: There were people of our hands and our knees right here in the front of the aisle.

[SPEAKER_00]: Most people were on the hands of these praying because they didn't know what to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I had to work that night and while I was working that night, a lot of people can be privately.

[SPEAKER_00]: They wanted prayer, they had questions, they were scared.

[SPEAKER_00]: Many people expect that Jesus Christ to come back at that very moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: At any moment, let's not forget, this is your 2001.

[SPEAKER_00]: Darren, the year 2000 and 2001, there's an awful lot of theories people had that Jesus Christ is going to come back at the year 2001.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or 2001.

[SPEAKER_00]: Many people had this, these theories.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when this happened, many people thought that's it.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to happen right away.

[SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of things happen that people didn't expect.

[SPEAKER_00]: Patriotism grew.

[SPEAKER_00]: Courage grew.

[SPEAKER_00]: The military grew.

[SPEAKER_00]: Family and love in devotion, compassion, and patience.

[SPEAKER_00]: Groove with one another.

[SPEAKER_00]: Many churches grew, including this one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Faith grew.

[SPEAKER_00]: Prayer life grew and revival.

[SPEAKER_00]: a revival grew.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was a different time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Things have changed since then.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the biggest question in the title today is where were you?

[SPEAKER_00]: So I say again, where were you?

[SPEAKER_00]: On September 11, 2001, there were 2,977 losses.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know what happened in New York City at Flight 11 and by 175 at the North and South power.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know what happened in the South power was hit second

[SPEAKER_00]: We know what happens pinning on and watching you see what fight 77 hit it.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know what happened at Shinkville, Pennsylvania in flight 93 hit there when there are heroes, 40 heroes who fought back.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know what happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: Not to mention all the others, all the other helpers, it also died in the past way.

[SPEAKER_00]: All of them all about 3,000 died because others who fought back and helped the fire and the policemen and many, many others who died because of the stuff they breathed in and other things.

[SPEAKER_00]: And not only that, all of America, and yes, their love wants to suffer and still suffer even now from it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the question then comes where were you, where were you people asked that all the time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were you during the JFK assassination?

[SPEAKER_00]: I personally wasn't born yet, but many people know exactly where my father would tell me over and over again, he was an MP for the Air Force.

[SPEAKER_00]: that he was working as an MP and someone drove up to the base and told him that JFK had been shot, John F. Kennedy, and it was a terrible thing, how about Pearl Harbor?

[SPEAKER_00]: Many of you most, we weren't alive, but there was some who were, and they remember that very moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was many other shocking events.

[SPEAKER_00]: How about the Challenger?

[SPEAKER_00]: You remember the Challenger?

[SPEAKER_00]: You remember when that happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: I remember that it was in school.

[SPEAKER_00]: We were sent home, President Ronald Reagan, sent us some, how about Mount St. Helms?

[SPEAKER_00]: I was only about four.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I remember, I might have been three would have.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I can't remember if my birthday had come or not.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I do remember happening barely.

[SPEAKER_00]: Bear to remember, I had a lot of hair of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: Did not now.

[SPEAKER_00]: That was then.

[SPEAKER_00]: Have out Pompey now.

[SPEAKER_00]: We weren't around back then.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Pompey amount the suit.

[SPEAKER_00]: The suit is with.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't remember the Titanic.

[SPEAKER_00]: We weren't alive then.

[SPEAKER_00]: But we all know that there was another big event to happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: How about?

[SPEAKER_00]: Valdevia, the Valdevia earthquake, that happened in 1960, many of you were alive then.

[SPEAKER_00]: You may not realize it, but that was a 9.5 on the Richter scale earthquake in 1960 from the Valdevia earthquake happened and about 1,000 people died in there and there.

[SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of events.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's other ones to happen too though.

[SPEAKER_00]: Have all the school shootings to happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first big one, the first really one that we knew of was from Columbia, the Columbine High School, Colorado in 1999.

[SPEAKER_00]: That was a big one.

[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, there was a shocking thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: We've heard of things since then.

[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm in Assorted, 2005, the one of our junior tech at 2007, and we had a course the Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut at 2012.

[SPEAKER_00]: We've had other ones in Oregon in 2015.

[SPEAKER_00]: We had their Santa Fe, Texas, and also in Parkland, Florida, both in 2018.

[SPEAKER_00]: We had one,

[SPEAKER_00]: In 2022, and you've all the Texas, and there was other mean public shootings that had nothing to do with schools.

[SPEAKER_00]: Many other ones, the president of the United States, he wasn't president at the time, but in 2024, July, we know that President Trump had been shot in the year, and there are many mental media midgets who want to say that was fake, and they are mental media midgets.

[SPEAKER_00]: You say that he fake, of course,

[SPEAKER_00]: did they fake it?

[SPEAKER_00]: And then a year ago, last year on September 10th, Charlie Kirk was shot our brothers and friends was killed.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there are other media midgets to try to say that he deserved it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they say that his wife is poor, wife and children are suffering now, say his wife said the whole thing

[SPEAKER_00]: For so many events, some people ask, where were you?

[SPEAKER_00]: And then they ask another question, where was God?

[SPEAKER_00]: They ask at all, where was God when these things happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: Why do these things happen?

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you've heard a many times we've talked about it before.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why do these things happen to good people?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I hate to tell you this, then those are good.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's none right, there's just no, not one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they're good people in our measurement.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not dare saying they deserve it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not dare saying I would never say that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not dare saying that you're a bad person and I'm a bad person, but in the grand scheme of things, the reason bad things happen is we are in a fallen world.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to know why go to Genesis chapter 3, you want to blame an individual, blame Adam, blame me, that's why.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why did it happen?

[SPEAKER_00]: God created a perfect world, don't blame God,

[SPEAKER_00]: What did God do about it?

[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what he did.

[SPEAKER_00]: He came in the form of a son and died on the cross.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what God did about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he did about.

[SPEAKER_00]: But now let's go to that question.

[SPEAKER_00]: People ask, where was God?

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 9, excuse me, Psalm 10, chapter 1.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who wrote this?

[SPEAKER_00]: Some say David, we don't really know.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's unknown, but it might have been David.

[SPEAKER_00]: It sounds similar, but that's in a great chapter by the way, I read it the other day, I'm not gonna read it all, I'm just gonna read that first verse, because it sounds like a lot of people say, it says in Psalm 10 verse 1, why do you stand far off, O Lord?

[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't this sound like what people say?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where do you at?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where do you go?

[SPEAKER_00]: We say it in times, maybe you do, maybe don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to understand it sometimes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's go on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 46 for us one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Psalm 46 for us one.

[SPEAKER_00]: God is our refuge in strength.

[SPEAKER_00]: A well-proven help in trouble.

[SPEAKER_00]: You will have trouble.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is promised to us.

[SPEAKER_00]: But what are you going to do?

[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to turn to creation?

[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't know everything, and probably not much, or to the creator, who knows all things.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now turn to Romans chapter eight.

[SPEAKER_00]: Romans chapter eight, 1832.

[SPEAKER_00]: Romans eight, 1832.

[SPEAKER_00]: Paul said this, for I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed to us.

[SPEAKER_00]: The eager expectation of the creation weighs for the appearance of the sons of God.

[SPEAKER_00]: For the creation was subjected to futality, not willingly, but by the will of him who subjected it, and hope that the creation is self,

[SPEAKER_00]: Also, we'll be set free from slavery to corruption and to the glorious freedom of the children of God.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know that the whole creation grows and travels and paint together until now.

[SPEAKER_00]: We are suffering, we're in a hurt world and a fallen world, but God has not left us alone.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have an answer.

[SPEAKER_00]: So where are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where's God?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that depends on the situation.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's ask another question.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were they?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were they?

[SPEAKER_00]: We look at the Bible, we look at history, we look at events, and all these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it says this, Noah's Ark.

[SPEAKER_00]: Noah's Ark, where was God and Noah's Ark time?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, where was Noah and his family?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were they?

[SPEAKER_00]: They were following God.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why they built the Ark, because God told Noah what to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, and they did, it took him a long time.

[SPEAKER_00]: They built that Ark.

[SPEAKER_00]: They were following God when others weren't.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were they following God?

[SPEAKER_00]: Even though the whole world around the wasn't it?

[SPEAKER_00]: You can't see this.

[SPEAKER_00]: on these notes here I have.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I have several things mentioned, and the things are in purple are when people are not falling.

[SPEAKER_00]: The things are in blue are when people were, and it goes blue, purple, blue, purple, blue, purple, blue.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then the reason why it's that way is to so many times people are out of God's will, and so God had to allow bad things to happen, and then people started falling out, and then,

[SPEAKER_00]: Everything went good again and then they didn't and then boy the book of judges that way if you're going to go to the book of judges Seven times to get out of guys well, and then seven times to get back in guys well, and that's just how it goes Back bum bum bum bum, but if you're it's crazy how come my father mother has to do Get on to me have come a mother for because you quit you quit following them How come I keep getting trouble what are you doing?

[SPEAKER_00]: Follow God you won't

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying people don't, maybe six, but God don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: God don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, sometimes innocent people get hurt innocent is a real interesting word.

[SPEAKER_00]: None of us are innocent, but you know what I'm saying?

[SPEAKER_00]: Now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go to the Tower of Babel.

[SPEAKER_00]: They weren't following God.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Noah and His family were following God.

[SPEAKER_00]: People the Tower of Babel weren't not.

[SPEAKER_00]: That was after.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those aren't.

[SPEAKER_00]: What were they trying to do?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they had a bad attitude.

[SPEAKER_00]: They had an attitude.

[SPEAKER_00]: What were they doing with that tower?

[SPEAKER_00]: They were trying to reach God.

[SPEAKER_00]: They were thumbing their nose at God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Could have had they, I heard an idiot one time.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know I'm being really blunt, but it's still true.

[SPEAKER_00]: Still true.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned the media, media, just want to go with this person who said this is a spiritual magic.

[SPEAKER_00]: They said one time, and really a physical magic, said that maybe they could have re-scribed.

[SPEAKER_00]: Folks, the person who built that tower cannot have reached God physically, it wasn't about what they could physically do, but were they were out in their heart?

[SPEAKER_00]: In their heart, they were thumbing their nose at God, and so God said, no, you're not doing it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Did God really fear them?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, God saw what was wrong in their heart and he corrected the situation.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not because of what that individual was doing, but to himself, but he was forcing the entire people around them to do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm separating you and he did, and that's where we get the Bible situation is that he separated them in their language.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was separating y'all because on your own, you guys are doing nothing but causing trouble, so I'm separating you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm going to tell you something I had a good moment and a good daddy, but if we made them mad, it's I'm going to separate you.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're going downstairs.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're going outside and you're going, we, we get mad and we kick at the dust.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't do it in front of daddy and mama.

[SPEAKER_00]: You kick at the restaurant and then you'll see what happens.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is the way people work with the Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: Kick and dust at God.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, no.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't have it.

[SPEAKER_00]: What else happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: The Exodus, 430 years in Egypt.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some say that was the entire time of slavery.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some say only 215 years of slavery.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: But at least 450 years, they were the time of Exodus in Egypt.

[SPEAKER_00]: We know that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what happened Moses and the Israelites followed God that people Egypt did not, and God took them out of there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then we had the time of the Civil War and Israel.

[SPEAKER_00]: What happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: There was a separation between the tribes.

[SPEAKER_00]: What tribes?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we have two tribes of follow God, and we have 10 that didn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we see that now they didn't always follow God and any of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what we see what happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Kings fell because of sin and because of that, we see that Israel was taken over by Babylon and other places, eventually Persia.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then we see what happened when they started following God again, the return, 75 years later.

[SPEAKER_00]: They return back to their land and they rebuilt a temple and they spoke of the Messiah coming.

[SPEAKER_00]: We see all this happen and then we see there are 400 years in this talk about the Old Testament New Testament, 400 years between the Old and New Testament.

[SPEAKER_00]: Still things happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: What happened?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's a Persian rule that was still going on at the end of the Old Testament.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's still went on for a while.

[SPEAKER_00]: After that, there was the Greeks rule.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Greeks rule for time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then there was the Maca-Bian revolt.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Maca-Bian revolt.

[SPEAKER_00]: It took place.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we know about that.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what happens whenever the Hanukkah comes around.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then we had the Roman rule.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that was what was happening when the New Testament starts the Roman rule.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then the Messiah comes.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Messiah comes.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the Jewish religion, not about Judaism, they missed it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, not all the Hebrew's mentioned.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: I want to make this perfectly clear.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because a lot of times, people say the Hebrew's mentioned that that, not all of them, not all of them, not all of them missed it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Peter, Andrew, James, John, Mary, many others did not miss it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the Jewish religion, those who are high up a lot of them, now you know all of them missed it, okay?

[SPEAKER_00]: But many of them did.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those who were controlled, missed it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those who had the power missed it, the Messiah came and then what happened 30 years later, his death, his resurrection, his ascension, he ascended,

[SPEAKER_00]: But what's going to happen next?

[SPEAKER_00]: He will come again.

[SPEAKER_00]: All these things have happened.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were these people?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were they?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's now read for a second Corinthians.

[SPEAKER_00]: Chapter one, three, three, four.

[SPEAKER_00]: Second Corinthians, chapter one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Versus three and four.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's to be God, the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, whom comforts us and all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those who are any trouble by the comfort.

[SPEAKER_00]: with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

[SPEAKER_00]: God comforts us and times it's trouble in hard times and sufferings, so that when other people are going through sorrow and hard times, we can comfort them.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is that us comforted them?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's God through us because of what we went through.

[SPEAKER_00]: When they suffered, all those people who went through as difficulties, they were able to comfort us, whether it be Moses, whether it be David, whether it be Solomon,

[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it be all those people who suffered and yes even failed and came back to God, got to this very day, speaks to us and through us to others too.

[SPEAKER_00]: I use those scriptures right there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Second Corinthians chapter 1, 3 and 4.

2 Corinthians 1 · chapter mention

[SPEAKER_00]: I use those scriptures right there every single time.

[SPEAKER_00]: I speak at a funeral and I'm speaking to the people who are suffering, who are hurting and that we need to comfort them as fellow Christians because you have suffered, you have lost people, you have gone through hard times and we need to be there for them.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's the question right now, the big question, where are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Now before you answer your mind on pastor, I'm right here in front of you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Before you answer that, or you at home right now, who are watching and saying, well, I'm right here, I'm a cow.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's right here, I'm a lazy boy speaking to me.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, before you say any of that, before you think anything like that, I'm not talking about where are you physically, by the way for all of you who've come here, either.

[SPEAKER_00]: here to watch a home and make sure every single week that we're preparing going to church or whatever are those who fits on the coming here which is great by the way the best thing to do if you can to be here when you can when you come together as a group when you come together as a family of God that's the best thing you can do not everybody can but when you can it's the best thing do because you can feel a Holy Spirit that helps you it really does make it different so I'm going to be honest with you I watch church every Sunday morning usually twice that I watch

[SPEAKER_00]: Reverend Adrian Rogers and Dr. David Jeremiah, I also watch Charles standing when I can and sometimes Billy Graham others who helped me and I can feel the power of God But when I come to give them my brother's sister's Christ, he lifts me up.

[SPEAKER_00]: It lifts me up.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a fellowship like never before And we get to hear from one another and what they're going through.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's hear what it says.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Am I top of physically?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, where are you spiritually?

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you prepared like no was prepared?

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you prepared like Moses was if he hadn't been prepared?

[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't have been ready when the time came.

[SPEAKER_00]: When those big events happen, when he'd been ready, no, he had to be prepared and ready.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you, spiritually?

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's take a look at what Jesus said in the book of Matthew, chapter 22.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's a pretty big chapter.

[SPEAKER_00]: So where, in Matthew 22, Matthew 22 verses 37 and 40.

[SPEAKER_00]: Our voting is 37, 340, excuse me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, it says, Jesus said in Matthew chapter 22 37 through 40, Jesus said to him, now you gotta remember people are asking him what the most important commandments are.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I also want you to remember the similarity to this, or these verses, and to Matthew 712, okay?

[SPEAKER_00]: Remember the similarity goes with Matthew 712 and Luke 631, it's there's a big similarity with what he said here and what he said on the Mount of the Attitudes, because Jesus doesn't go against his own teachings.

[SPEAKER_00]: He does a contradict, he doesn't do that.

[SPEAKER_00]: It fits now, sometimes people think he does because they're not understanding his whole point.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, he did.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was not understanding.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't get it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But with so many says here, Jesus said to him, verse 37, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is the first and great commandment.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the second is like it.

[SPEAKER_00]: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: These two commandments hang all of the law and the prophets.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is similar to Matthew 712.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'll come with the last of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: The love of your neighbor doing the others as you have them doing to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now why are these two very important?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because the first half of the commandments is to put God for the first four is to put God for us.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you put God first,

[SPEAKER_00]: And then the second half, and I'm talking about a mammoths five, or it's easy, man, it's four, I believe it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Get it right, okay, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those are all about loving your neighbor and treating them right and how you're supposed to live.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if you don't treat God right, you're not gonna treat your neighbors right because you can put yourself above them.

[SPEAKER_00]: People treat themselves like dogs all the time.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is why things get messed up because they don't, that's why Jesus says these are the most important things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Love God, then your neighbor.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what all the commandments are on these two things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Love God, love your neighbor, your fellow people.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why they're the most important.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because these two have it all.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what the whole commandments about.

[SPEAKER_00]: How to treat others.

[SPEAKER_00]: God first, then your neighbor, not neighbor than God, not self, self, self, self, self, self.

[SPEAKER_00]: We have the most selfless world now.

[SPEAKER_00]: We are to follow God, and He'll take care of the rest, but you've got to be obedient and be true in your fruit as it comes forward.

[SPEAKER_00]: That sheep still made mistakes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Still might have fallen.

[SPEAKER_00]: That sheep still made messes.

[SPEAKER_00]: That sheep still had problems.

[SPEAKER_00]: Still may have had a little spot on a skin.

[SPEAKER_00]: It just looked perfect compared to the other ones.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was the best sheep that they had in it.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was a symbol.

[SPEAKER_00]: It saved them.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's only one lamb that saves us.

[SPEAKER_00]: but where to be doers, to do the best that we can do to follow God so he can do it through you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you prepared for the day that big, difficult things are gonna happen?

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a lot of people, when that situation happened on September 11th, this is not what this sermon is really about.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's up to September 11th, but where are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where were you then?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you now?

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people weren't prepared for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: None of us were.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why airports are the way they are now.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why everything is different, everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't blame them.

[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: But are you prepared?

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people, they're not worried about death.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not talking about living your whole life going to die.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not going to live my life like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm also not going to be a fool who thinks I'm going to live forever in a day.

[SPEAKER_00]: So therefore, I'm going to live forever.

[SPEAKER_00]: That no, we can't live like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You got to be wise and know that there will be problems

[SPEAKER_00]: Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, last-femres, disobedient to parents unthinkful, unholy without natural affection, take that as you will.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of unnatural effects going on right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Men think in their women, women think in their men, men being with men, women being with women, all sorts of disgusting, vile, horrible things.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll go in on here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Truce breakers, breaking the promises.

[SPEAKER_00]: Slanderers, unrestrained people need some strange on.

[SPEAKER_00]: understrain fears, despises of those who are good.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are a lot of people hate your guts.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why?

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a hate Jesus Christ is in your heart and they hate the fact that you follow because it makes them feel bad.

[SPEAKER_00]: Verse four, traitors, reckless, conceited lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.

[SPEAKER_00]: Many people call themselves Christians are the same way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I know it's probably not right to go and have sex out of where like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I still ask me, how much do you love God?

[SPEAKER_00]: Apparently not as much as you love the pleasure of the flesh.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's not right to get high.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, guys, that's not as me.

[SPEAKER_00]: For it's five, having a form of godliness but denying its power, turn away from such people, folks.

[SPEAKER_00]: Those, this verse six, those of this nature creep into houses and captivate silly women who are burned with sins and led away with various desires, verse seven, always learning.

[SPEAKER_00]: But never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

[SPEAKER_00]: One of these days, one of these days is going to be too late, be a day too late.

[SPEAKER_00]: It says in Acts chapter 5 verse 29, Peter and the other apostle, probably John.

[SPEAKER_00]: But pastor, I like my fellow coworker.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like my brother and my sister.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not talking to Christ, all of them maybe didn't do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like my cousin, I like my neighbor.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like the person across the street he's gonna be filling in for a while.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like those people.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're Mormons.

[SPEAKER_00]: their Scientologist, their whatever in the world, but here's the thing you can like them all you want.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can love them.

[SPEAKER_00]: You should.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to agree with the nonsense that Satan has given to them.

[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, you should love them enough to be honest now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Do it with kindness, do it with love, but be honest, get the prepared for the day when something's going to happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it will.

[SPEAKER_00]: Ephesians 5 or 6.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let no one here would say to get an Ephesian chapter five or six, let no one deceive you with empty words for because of these things that wrap the God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.

[SPEAKER_00]: We need to be prepared.

[SPEAKER_00]: Be ready.

[SPEAKER_00]: You see another 9-11 is coming.

[SPEAKER_00]: Only God knows when.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the question is, are you prepared?

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't mean the actual date.

[SPEAKER_00]: But another moment when something big is going to happen, are you prepared?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where would you be when Jesus returns?

[SPEAKER_00]: Many will disappear.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know when.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to guess.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this time in 19th, no, we don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be people being guessing for thousands of years.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've heard some cases well, people been saying that.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a folks that have been saying that since Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, but all before you were born, all before I was born.

[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't mean it's not going to happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: It just hasn't happened yet.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it is getting closer every single moment, not just every single year.

[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the question, many want to disappear and what will they say when you disappear?

[SPEAKER_00]: It could very well be that you die or it could very well be that you just boom are going.

[SPEAKER_00]: Go on.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, one of the things that is in the anniversary right now is Star Trek, and you know I like Star Trek.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows?

[SPEAKER_00]: Some time I'll talk about it some more because I've never talked about it enough, but one of the things I like about that show is that they beam people up.

[SPEAKER_00]: You've seen it.

[SPEAKER_00]: They beam them up.

[SPEAKER_00]: It looks so real.

[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, when they do, it's an interesting thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: One of these days, and a son could be Scotty at the other end of the thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to be all same.

[SPEAKER_00]: But one day you're going to be beamed up.

[SPEAKER_00]: So to speak, spirits are speaking, you're going to be gone.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows what they're going to say?

[SPEAKER_00]: They'll probably say with an alien.

[SPEAKER_00]: They'll probably say it with all sorts of things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know, the government has hired them who knows who cares.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to be here.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't care.

[SPEAKER_00]: But question is, what will they say?

[SPEAKER_00]: What will those who plan to go do?

[SPEAKER_00]: How about those who plan to go but didn't go?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I pray and hope that they listen enough to know what to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: They'll suffer.

[SPEAKER_00]: But what will they do?

[SPEAKER_00]: If you've asked Jesus to be your personal and Savior, you won't have to worry about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: You'll be gone.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if you have it, now's the time.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you have asked Jesus to save you of your sins,

[SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to be fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if you've asked Jesus, or at least believe in Jesus, but still aren't 100% sure where you're going to be now's the day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you've asked Jesus with your being disobedient.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you can't lose your salvation, but you can lose your closeness to Christ.

[SPEAKER_00]: Get right right now and be prepared.

[SPEAKER_00]: Too many people keep thinking, well, I'm going to be fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, maybe I don't, I don't even want to chance it.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you're living right for God, you don't have to wonder.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can know the exact what you do know, you're not safe by words, but your works do help you to be a close, wonderful, obedient child of God, and you feel much better, much safer.

[SPEAKER_00]: So where will you be?

[SPEAKER_00]: What will you do?

[SPEAKER_00]: Acts 1, 10, 3, 11 tells us this.

[SPEAKER_00]: While they look, this is the people who are with Christ up on the mountain says Acts 1, 10, 11, while they look intently toward heaven and as he ascended, suddenly two men, those angels, suddenly two men stood by them in white garments, they said minogataly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why stand looking toward heaven, this saying Jesus who was taken up from you to heaven will come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven.

[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus is gonna come back.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna take us, where will you be?

[SPEAKER_00]: Will you be with him?

[SPEAKER_00]: I will be.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if I'm still alive, I'm going with him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm so good, because I'm so wonderful, because I'm so pretty, because no, none of those things, because he is the only way.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is so good that he saved me, despite of my sin, because of my faith and his grace, that is why, because the same for you,

[SPEAKER_00]: Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods,

[SPEAKER_00]: But if that evil servant says in his heart, my master delays his comings and begins to strike his fellow servants and eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not look for him.

[SPEAKER_00]: and in the hour he is not aware of and will cut him in pieces and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites where there shall be weeping and massing of teeth.

[SPEAKER_00]: Too many people believe that they could just wait

[SPEAKER_00]: And not worry about Christ coming, they mock Christ, they mock you, who follow Christ, they mock his word and say this, all fake and make believe they're so worried, thinking that everything is AI, they can't understand nor believe what is real and what is fake and what is in between.

[SPEAKER_00]: Keep your eye on Christ on him alone.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're not worried about all those stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: Cause this says in Mark chapter 13, 7 through 10, Mark chapter 13.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the next question.

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you spiritually with God?

[SPEAKER_00]: And then where will you be when Jesus when the Lord God comes?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where will you be?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you now?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you with God?

[SPEAKER_00]: Where are you with Christ?

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you ready?

[SPEAKER_00]: Are you ready?

[SPEAKER_00]: Lord God, this is not to be a sermon of fear, but a preparation, Lord, not a sermon of sorrow, but of Lord of joy knowing that we can come to you, and you have us ready for all things knowing that when we do leave this world, we're going to be in a much better place than we are now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Lord, I pray for those who are blinded, for those who are God who are deaf to your truth, who are Lord dumb and cannot speak the truth, Lord.

[SPEAKER_00]: I pray for those who are ignorant and will not receive it because they refuse to.

[SPEAKER_00]: I pray, Lord, God, that you will allow them to see what's right in front of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: I pray this and you're holy and preaching or Jesus and that you will use us to your will, not ours.
