And since we have a great high priest who rules
-
over God's house, let us go right into the presence
-
of God with sincere hearts, fully trusting Him. Shalom beloved,
-
you are warmly welcome to Radio ACI today for our
-
morning glory devotion. An open way to the Father was
-
written by Pastor and Mrs. Amo of Harvest Chapel International, Kumasi.
-
Let us share a word of prayer. Father, we thank
-
you for your word today. We ask, O God, that
-
you grant us grace to be doers of your word.
-
In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Let us kindly take our
-
confession from Joshua 1, verse 8. Joshua 1, verse 8.
-
This book of the Lord shall not depart out of
-
my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night,
-
that I may observe to do according to all that
-
is written in it. For then I will make my
-
way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen.

An Open Way to the Father An Open Way to
-
the Father A script written by Pastor Emesis Amoapia. Our
-
scripture readings are from Hebrews chapter 10 verse 19 through
-
to 22. Hebrews chapter 10 verse 19 to 22. And
-
I'll be reading from the New Living Translation. And so,
-
dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven's most
-
holy place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death,
-
Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain
-
into the most holy place. And since we have a
-
great high priest who rules over God's house, let us
-
go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts
-
fully trusting Him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled
-
with Christ's blood to make us clean, and our bodies
-
have been washed with pure water. May the Lord add
-
his blessing to the reading and hearing of his word.
-
Thanks be to God. An open way to the Father
-
For centuries, any worshipper could only go so far Between
-
a holy God and fallen humanity hung a thick, heavy veil.
-
To walk past that curtain into the most holy place
-
was unthinkable. A single step taken in presumption meant death.
-
The message was clear. God is holy. We are stained
-
by sin. And the door is closed. Then came the
-
cross of Calvary. When Jesus took his final breath, that
-
great curtain tore right from the top to the bottom
-
by the hand of Almighty God. Think of what that
-
means for your tired soul today. You do not need
-
an elderly mediator. You do not have to clean up
-
your record before you dare to speak to God. Because
-
the body of Jesus was broken for you, the door
-
to the Father's presence stands wide open. So what are
-
we to do with this outstanding gift? The first is
-
that we must draw near. Do not linger far off
-
in guilt or fear. When burdens press down on you,
-
carry them straight into the presence of God in prayer.
-
Speak to him honestly. Pour out your grief, your failures
-
and your hopes. He welcomes you with open arms. Also,
-
hold fast to your confession without wavering. The world around
-
us is noisy and unstable, constantly pulling our affections towards
-
shallow comforts and half-truths. Cling tightly to the faithful promises
-
of God. Feed on His word daily so your heart
-
remains anchored. And finally, do not try to walk this
-
road by yourself. The writer urges us not to neglect
-
gathering together. An ember pulled away from the heat soon
-
grows gold. But kept together, the fire burns bright. When
-
you gather with your brothers and sisters in the faith,
-
you find strength to stand. When your hands hang down,
-
someone is there to lift them up. Run through that
-
open door today. Draw near to your Father. Hold fast
-
to His truth and lean on the family He has
-
given you. Amen. Let us take our memory verse for
-
today from Hebrews chapter 10 verse 22. Hebrews chapter 10
-
verse 22, reading from the King James Version. Let us
-
draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
-
having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our
-
bodies washed with pure water. Let us draw near with
-
a heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
-
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with
-
pure water. Amen. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Father,
-
we thank you for your word that has come to us.
-
We pray that regardless of how deep we have sung,
-
O God, we will come to the realization that that
-
you have made a way for us to return to you.
-
We choose, O God, to come back to you, restore
-
our fellowship, restore our relationship with you. In Jesus' mighty
-
name we pray. Amen. God richly bless you, beloved, for
-
connecting with us for today's word. Remember, the way has
-
been opened to the Father. Do not listen to the
-
accusations of the devil. God is waiting for you with
-
arms open. Wide open. Do not leave Radio ACI today.
-
Remember that we have content carefully selected for your growth
-
and nourishment. Shalom and have a spirit-filled weekend. Amen.
