Day of Atonement and The Return

I appreciate you joining me today. Matthew Miller here from

Maranatha Ministries. So, does the Day of Atonement play a

role in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ? Well,

this is pretty easy to ascertain. Hebrews 2, verse 17

Hebrews 2:17

says it very plainly. From the New King James Version, Therefore,

in all things, He had to be made like His brethren,

that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest

in all things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for

the sins of the people. What the New King James

Version says, propitiation, that's atonement. That is the Greek word

for atonement. So, let's take a look at this. it's

pretty important that you realize that Jesus Christ has already atoned.

So in the future, this is why the Day of

Atonement is not mentioned during the Millennial Reign of Christ.

Only the Feast of Tabernacles is mentioned during the Millennial

Reign of Christ. So this makes a very important part

because many people out there think that Jesus Christ is

going to finish the fall feast, and He is. However,

He's already made atonement. There will be no day of

atonement in the millennial reign of Christ. So, the next

thing on your prophetic list is the return of Christ.

It is the judgment of Christ. That, of course, is

what finishes Daniel's 70th week. Because Daniel's first half of

the 70th week ended on Pentecost, the final of the

spring feast. That being the case, Daniel's 70th week will

resume at the exact same time. It will resume at

the end of Pentecost. And the Great Tribulation will last

three and a half years. This tells you an end

point to when this abomination of desolation has to take place.

This gives insight into Daniel 12's infamous 45 days. That

infamous 45 days. So take note. The Lamb has chosen

these 10 kings per Psalm chapter 2. They will choose

Psalms 2 · chapter mention

their own Messiah days before Passover. Take note. This abominable

Passover desolation is what triggers everything. And 45 days later,

45 days later, you can almost be guaranteed that's when

the great day of the Lord will occur. Because the

final half of Daniel's 70th week has to begin where

the first three and a half years began. And all

this is going to end at his return on Judgment Day,

which is Feast of Trumpets. So, pretty important that you

get these feasts down, because there are literally entire systems

of deception out there. First and foremost, this entire system

of dispensationalism, the entire system of preterism, those are all

systems of deceptions. We here at Maranatha Ministries hold to

historic premillennialism. There was no other prophecy model for the

first 300 years of the church. That's what Jesus Christ was.

That's what all the verses say. That's what all the

disciples were, all the apostles, yada, yada, yada. Up until Clericus,

The liturgical dragon was created at the Council of Nicaea. Boy,

those are awful big words, aren't they? Look it up.

Know your history. So, if you want to know the timeline,

look up the historic premillennial timeline. That's the way it is. Now,

we here at Maranatha Ministries, we have a modified historic premillennialism.

Because during the tribulation, we have in there the great gathering.

That's what the Bible says. That's what all the Bible

verses say. More importantly, God himself states that's what's going

to happen in Isaiah chapter 11, verses 11 and 12.

Those places mentioned there, take note. Those places mentioned there,
