Sermon
Atonement and The Ten Kings

My YouTube live stream. I'm going to be pumping some
-
of these out today because it's my day off. So
-
the prior video I just did was about the atonement,
-
the return. Now I'm going to talk about the atonement
-
and the ten kings. You can only see this in
-
the Greek. But take note, going from Hebrews chapter 2,
-
verse 17 here. Therefore, in all things, He had to
-
be made like his brethren, that he might be a
-
merciful and faithful high priest in all things pertaining to God,
-
to make propitiation for the sins of the people. As
-
I stated before, that is why in end-time Bible prophecy,
-
the Day of Atonement is excluded from end-time events. Jesus
-
Christ has already done this. But it leads to other
-
important things if you can have access to the Greek. So,
-
let's get right into it. God bless everybody. Matthew Miller
-
here from Maranatha Ministries. We're going to be taking a
-
look at this Greek word, and let's just see how
-
this is pronounced. Now, in the Strong's Concordance, of course,
-
I've repeatedly encouraged everybody that you can facilitate the moving
-
of the Holy Spirit by ingesting the Word. It is
-
because of the Word, and the Word alone, that we
-
will be made martyrs of, per Revelation chapter 6, verse 9.
-
So anyway, getting here to this Greek word for atonement.
-
Let's take a listen to it. It's G-2433. Strong's G-2433. Heloskemi. Heloskemi. Heloskemi. To...
-
be favorable toward. We call that atone, to atone for. Now,
-
there is another place where this word is at in
-
the New Testament, and the New King James Version does
-
not do it justice. That's not what this is saying
-
in Greek. So, Luke 18, verse 13, And the tax collector,
-
standing afar off, would not so much as raise his
-
eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, God, Be
-
merciful to me, a sinner. This is not a proper translation.
-
Here it means, show favor to me, a merciful sinner.
-
The proper English word would be to conciliate. Not reconciliate. No, no.
-
This means atone. It would mean the short version of
-
the word without the prefix re. It would be conciliate.
-
This English word conciliate. So it should be translated, God
-
conciliate to me a sinner. That's what this verse should say.
-
So let's get to this very interesting instance in Zechariah 8,
-
verse 22. Very important that you be able to see this.
-
I'm going to have to explain some things to you.
-
When you bring up normal resources, much as the Blue
-
Letter Bible, and access the Septuagint, the Greek translation of
-
the Old Testament, you're not going to be able to
-
get to a Strong's number here. And that can be
-
very frustrating, I understand, but you have to realize that
-
not all Septuagint words are in the New Testament. As such,
-
it won't have a Strong's entry. So, If you do
-
get to resources that has the Septuagint keyed to Strong's,
-
it will leave this word out. And the reason why
-
it does this in Zechariah 8, verse 22, is because
-
it has the prefix X in Greek. This prefix is G1537.
-
It means out from. It means because of. everything along
-
that line. So, take note, because it has that prefix, X,
-
you don't see it here. So this would mean, this
-
would be properly translated, from atonement, or because of atonement. So,
-
when you read the Septuagint, this is what you're going
-
to see in this verse, and you realize why the
-
ten kings, why the ten kings, elect this man of
-
sin that performs the Passover abominable desolation and transforms into
-
the son of perdition their Messiah this is why Psalm
Psalms 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2 is triggered this is why but here in
-
the Septuagint this prophetically is letting you know why Why
-
it is the Ten Kings do this. Now, I just
-
did another video on this last night. If you'd like
-
to see that, that's like 45 minutes long. But this
-
pertains to that. It goes into great detail about Psalm
-
2 and that. If you would like to look that up,
-
it's on the YouTube channel. And the title of that is,
-
The Beginning of Sorrows is... societal contractions. So if you
-
want more information about this, go there. But anyway, take note,
-
this mentions here the ten kings. And those ten kings
-
realize that Jesus Christ is breaking the seals. And he
-
is causing the societal contractions. It is because of this,
-
they want to elect their own Messiah. This is plainly
-
detailed in Psalm 2. So we're going to jump over
-
here in this Septuagint and read out of the mainstay
-
of this ministry. Please get your hands on a copy
-
of the Lexham English Septuagint. It is by far the
-
best English translation that I've been able to get a
-
hold of. Many people complain to me that they're in
-
short supply. It is readily available on logos.com. It's the
-
only place that I've been able to find it online.
-
but also another good translation, though not as good as
-
the Lexham English Septuagint, is the new translation of the Septuagint,
-
the new English translation of the Septuagint. I'm sorry, that's
-
what it is. That's more available if you'd like to
-
get a copy of that. But anyway, we're going to
-
pick it up here from the Lexham English Septuagint in
-
Zechariah chapter 2. And this word here, for atonement, with
Zechariah 2 chapter mention
-
the prefix X on it, is in verse 22. We'll
-
talk about that after I read it. So, verse 20.
-
This is what the Lord Almighty says. Yet many people
-
will come, even ones who dwell in many cities. And
-
those who dwell in five cities shall come together into
-
one city, saying, Let us go and pray before the
-
face of the Lord, and to seek the face of
-
the Lord Almighty, and I myself will go. And many
-
people and many nations will come to seek the face
-
of the Lord Almighty in Jerusalem to propitiate. There's that
-
word propitiate. This is why in Hebrews chapter 2, verse 17,
-
it uses that word propitiate. But another Old English word
-
you could use would be conciliate. But anyway, let me continue.
-
seek out the face of the Lord Almighty in Jerusalem
-
and to propitiate the face of the Lord. This is
-
what the Lord Almighty says. In those days, if ten
-
men from every tongue of the nation should seize, let
-
them seize the fringe of the garment of a Judean man, saying,
-
we will go with you because we have heard that
-
God is with you. Now here, all Christians saved in Christ,
-
are Judean. So, take note. This is massive Bible prophecy
-
that ties in to these ten kings choosing to cast
-
their chains and their fetters from the Lord off of them.
-
And in response to this, of course, the abomination of
-
desolation is why the great day of the Lord takes place.
-
This is why Christ is coronated. Christ is coronated in
-
Psalm 2 when it says, I have installed my anointed. Remember,
-
right now Jesus Christ has not had his enemies placed
-
under his feet. Per Hebrews chapter 10, verses 11 through 14,
-
he's acting as our high priest. He must be coronated
-
as our king. That's what all these things are in
-
reference to. So I hope you enjoyed that. And I
-
hope you realize, once again, let me say this. If
-
you get an online resource that has the Septuagint, keyed
-
to Strong's, when you see this word in Greek, it
-
won't give you a Strong's number. That's because here this
-
word for atonement has a prefix X on it. That's why.
-
So I hope you were edified by this video. And
-
I hope that you begin to realize you can study
-
God's Word. Do it with logos.com. Do it with blueletterbible.com.
-
Please start saturating yourself with the Word. Because take note,
-
the Word is very clear. In Revelation 6, verse 9,
-
it's because of the Word that they will make a
-
martyr out of you. It further gives descriptors as to
-
how they do this to God's word in Revelation chapter 22,
-
verses 18 and 19. They corrupt God's word by removing
-
from it and by inserting to it. They remove from
-
it and add to it. But we stand up during
-
the birth pains, during the beginning of sorrows. But remember,
-
that's an improper translation in the New King James Version
-
and the KJV. It's not beginning of sorrows. That's the
-
Greek word odin. That is the Greek word for contraction.
-
That's a contraction. So remember, during the contraction, those that
-
have not been born again are not going to go
-
to war with each other. It's not going to produce
-
a war of religion like the Reformation triggered. It's not
-
going to be denominations killing each other. It's going to
-
be congregants making martyrs Of those of us that hold.
-
To the word. So I hope you're edified by this.
-
If you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. And
-
you have any encouraging words. Or prayers. Please put them
-
in the comments. Please like and share and subscribe to
-
the channel. And please start preparing everyone. For the return.
-
There's only one return. And it's not going to be
-
done cowardly. In secret. When the Lord returns. Lottie dottie. Everybody.
-
Will see him coming. Now the great day of the Lord.
-
You won't see. He who sitteth upon the throne come.
-
But Jesus Christ. Told you himself. You're going to see
-
him coming. And it's going to cause all. That have
-
not been born again. To mourn his coming. So until
-
next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless. Godspeed.
