Hello everyone and welcome to Wednesday Night Live. This is Ron Crawford coming to you from the Father's Church in Dallas, Texas. I hope that all of you are enjoying the wonderful presence of our Lord and that you are continuing to study, continuing to apply what the word of the Lord is continuing to reveal. And of course, in all, I hope that you're continuing to pray, to spend time with the Lord. These are really busy days for us here at the Father's Church because we're preparing for our fall seminar this coming week.
-
A week from today, we will be in session, and I do want to reiterate that this is the fiftieth such gathering here in Dallas, and we are celebrating the goodness of the Lord. So on this website, you have the opportunity to register for that gathering, whether you're going to be here in person or whether you're going to be joining us remotely through the livestream, will also be available on this website. Please do that. There were also some announcements made this past Sunday regarding the opportunity for those of you who want to obtain some merchandise, some clothing, or things that are emblazoned with, Saints Network, emblems and, you know, different terms, regarding being before the Lord and His ways. We're making those available to you.
-
I appreciate my daughter Katie working, with this, with Zach, and we're this is not a money making project. We're not making any money. It's just direct. We produce these. You can order them, and it's just your own choice.
-
We're not going to stock them because the problem we have with stocking things here is that you can't estimate how many of them are going to go out the door. You've made the investment ahead of time. You've purchased them. You have inventory, and then it just sits there. So we're not doing that.
-
We're just not doing it. We've done it in the past, and we're not doing it now. That's TMI. So tonight, for those of you who are part of the the local fabric of the father's church. We're gonna be praying here at 6PM, and at the end of that prayer time, we're going to be receiving prophetic words, not teachings, not things you got last week.
-
How many times do I have to say this? Some of you shut off as soon as I said, we're gonna be giving prophetic words. You immediately went through your inventory of words. No. This is what God shares at this time.
-
And I believe it's gonna be in alignment with a sevenfold measure of declaration for what God is empowering us to enjoy in him in the time that is ahead. So we invite you to be here. And those of you who are remote, if you wanna pray with us during that time, that's great too. Another announcement. We're going to be having some things go on this Saturday.
-
First of all, prayer, and then at 11:00 we're going to have an in house discussion with, brother Mark Burke regarding the Deepwater's app. How many of you who've been asleep at the wheel, this was a soft launch just for this church. So we're not recording it. We're not broadcasting it. This is an evaluatory thing.
-
So there's nothing instructive for you. So don't feel left out. But that's going to be at 11:00 this Saturday. And then as soon as that's over, we are doing the last round of getting this facility ready for our Saints Network family to come from many different places. So in other words, the acumen of the workday is here.
-
So some of you have signed up for tasks. If you can remain right after that time and do a few things, that would be helpful. Many hands make light work, and light hands make much work. And we've had that certainly over the weeks. But, I'm I think we're just about ready, but we have a few tasks yet that need to be done so that we're not absolutely embarrassed when our Saints family come into the house of the Lord here.
-
Okay? So again, Saturday prayer, 11:00 deep waters, and then immediately a work day. So, there you go. As you can tell, I'm in seminar mode. I've been doing planning, doing schedules, preparing.
-
Oh, you think you actually have to prepare, pastor? I think some people think this just drops out of the sky. Maybe it sounds like that sometimes, but I I don't have time to tolerate foolish things. I mean, if you're gonna talk to me, the pastoral lathering up is not here. So if you want an answer, there it is.
-
And, it's done in love. He doesn't love us anymore. Oh, we don't have fellowship. Oh, Jesus, help us. So it's gonna be a great time.
-
I hope that you will enjoy it as much as we will. And, already we have our first fruits of travel. Vinny Cruz from Sao Paulo has arrived, and you're going to get to meet him in person tonight in the prayer time. But others will be coming, in the days following. So seminar time is here, so off we go.
-
Now, we are as saints doing a number of different things at the behest of our Father, our Heavenly Father. And the things that we're being asked to do are all evidently in the word. Even though the doctrinal blender has made very clear declarations and commandments that are listed in the scripture, those things are blended into English or Portuguese or French or whatever your language is, Spanish, and we come away with the word, but we're often allowed to interpret it in whatever way we want. Everybody has their own truth, to borrow a euphemism of modern society. Now the word of God is sacrosanct.
-
It is inspired, it's anointed, and so there are a lot of terms that are very clearly there, and their meaning is not hard to find. So one of the things that the Saints Network is called to do is to train people, to teach people, to make disciples in the nations. Yeah, yes pastor, we agree with that. Oh yes, hallelujah, we do. But what does that mean?
-
Let's look at it from a couple of angles here in the scripture, and again, this is Wednesday night prayer and bible study. So I hope you have your handy dandy bible program ready, maybe the leaves, the rustling of the leaves of a hard copy of the scripture. We're just gonna look at a few passages and we're gonna reference many more. What does it mean to make disciples? Well, the first thing that we wanna look at is that there are many different terms in the Greek New Testament that speak about teaching.
-
I'm not even going to mess with with the Old Testament here because the Old Testament set the standard, but then we are as the new covenant instructed by the Lord and by disciples in the living word of the New Testament as to what we're supposed to be doing. So that's what we're looking at. The primary word that we're going to understand together that describes teaching is didasco. Not Tabasco, but didasco. And it really means to teach.
-
It means to specifically bring detailed instruction, to lay out doctrine. Now this is gonna have to be based in prayer and on the word of God. This is not preaching, but know, Jesus went everywhere teaching and preaching. He was lead off as a teacher. And this is something that is, is really lost in most of the church.
-
We teach in the general church from the standpoint of doctrinal positioning. Most of that is set in stone. That can be helpful, but it's very often a good beginning, good foundation, but nothing's built upon it. You know, this this term didasco had many different didash, didascalia, lots of different variables, but all built off that same thing. Like in second Timothy three verse 16, Paul says to us that all scripture is God breathed and profitable for the dascalia.
-
The dascalia. So the word is for going deep into things and teaching. We even have this word come down into English, didactic, didacticism, you know, where it's specified line by line type of things. And you know, the New Testament says that the apostles' teaching was brought. Oh, make it simple.
-
Massage it in. Oh, we're too dumb to figure out things for ourselves, so chew it up. We want milk. We want baby pablum. You know, that's what the church says.
-
Paul didn't take a very kind view to that. To the apostles teaching was a didache, according to what the living breathing word is. So you could think of didasco as the act of teaching specific things. Didache is the teaching of the message. Didaskalia is the teaching instruction with an emphasis on building doctrine.
-
And that's very important. And we're going to look at this and we're going to spring off into a few other words for teaching just for clarity. We're not going to dwell on them. You can look these up for yourself. But and then we're gonna end up where Jesus in the end of Matthew is telling his disciples what they're supposed to do, and we're gonna end up there.
-
But you have another word which which is paideo. We we could speak about paideo and paideo, which is really the training of a child. And it's a different kind of teaching. It involves forming and training, but it's used to show what caretakers need to be doing to make sure that the babies are applying the Dodosuke. That's just it.
-
You're not just placating them or playing around. There's an expression, which means to admonish people to think on the things they've been trained, and, know, Paul told the Colossians in Colossians one twenty eight that everybody should be doing this with each other so that the teachings would be firmly welcomed and absorbed amongst the people. Then there's this famous other word katacheo, which, and we get our word in the Catholics, catechism, from, and that's more of a living instruction, where people are being told how to do things, how to apply it, you know, just a personal interaction, you know, like if if you buy a new app or something and you see it and it's all looks good, it's crazy, and you have somebody else that knows how to use it, they come along and say, okay, you have the app. I'm not gonna do everything for you, but you do this and you do this. Oh, okay.
-
I see. And that's kind of like iron sharpening iron, but it's never from the standpoint of it's too hard for me. You just do it for me. Does that make sense? So then there's one other term we want to look at with this, and that is actually two others.
-
One is if you're propheteau, or so you're prophesying to somebody, and you can prophesy in an instructional way. You can prophecy, okay, God's saying this and without bossing somebody more in an exhortation, you can say, and it's very important that you do this, this, this. But some people really have not developed their ability to learn. So you can be talking to them, you can be telling them, and they're just staring at you. And you think, are you paying attention at all to what I'm saying?
-
And you can usually tell that by the end of the conversation, but you say, okay, now what now? So they really weren't registering. And sometimes, well not sometimes, in the evening, I don't know what you think my home life is, but I don't know whether you think my wife and I are always proscuneoing and praying. There are just times that you you kick back. It's not our main function or my main function, but we watch these British there's so many British mystery shows.
-
Some of them going back twenty or thirty years, and it they're written well. And you noticed a lot of times that there will be detectives, and they have a little notepad, and they're interviewing somebody who is a witness to a crime and the detective is leading the discussion. And when the person's answering, they're just jotting down key points and then the detective will say something else and jotting down. We need to learn that. Many years ago, I think it was in the early nineties, the Dallas Morning News newspaper here sent out publicity materials to people, a little notebook that was long and narrow.
-
It said Dallas Morning News on it, and it said, if you witness a crime or something, use this to write down information immediately. And we've gone through this with interpretation. When you have a dream, what do you do? Well, you write down the particulars before you begin to forget them, and this is how interpretation begins. Yeah, we know that about interpretation, but it should also be a maxim for learning.
-
When you know, we're supposed to be taking notes when we're sitting in class, aren't we? Not just writing notes to the kids sitting beside you. I don't know if they even do that anymore. I've heard that in some schools they actually, are taking the phones and the iPads from the kids and even smart watches. I know my one of my granddaughters has to surrender all of that when she goes into school and they put it in this locked up facility and they get it when they leave.
-
Oh my goodness. What have we become? But, we we really need to learn how to be good students and every one of you should do that. And part of it is listening, training your mind to receive what God is saying, and noting it, and then encouraging one another, and then living by this rule. It's not it's not politically correct stuff.
-
It's just what's in the word. This is what God's word says. So you say, well, I wanna be like Jesus. Well, write this first down. Don't be skipping ahead.
-
I'm just gonna tell you where it is. John eight twenty eight. John eight twenty eight. Jesus said that what he received from the father was didache, that the father taught him in this way. Oh my goodness.
-
I thought the father wow. How dare he want to teach me that way? I thought I could just crawl up into his lap and tell him all about my troubles, or go boldly before the throne and argue my case, or go into some adjacent courtroom, which I've yet to find, and argue with the enemy about what's mine. No. The father is gonna wanna teach you.
-
And how? Oh, come here sweet little thing, I don't want to make this too hard for you because I know the way I created you, you just don't have much of an IQ, so no, the Father teaches Jesus. You want to be like Christ, you want to be Christian, this is how the Father works. And there it is in John eight twenty eight. What about the Holy Spirit?
-
Oh, he's like a big warm blanket, isn't he? That's what we've been taught. We use corn pone reference to describe what the comforter means. Well, the comforter, perikileo, the or perklitos, He's also the spirit of truth, which the scripture says Jesus is sending the spirit as both of those. Perikileo says, hey, get with it, you come and start doing what you're created to do.
-
There's a task here, hey, come here, as it when I was growing up that was, well if you're in one of life's ditches, the Holy Spirit is like a heavenly car service, a triple A as it is. And so you get in trouble and you call out, Pericleo, come and help me, help me, help me. That's what we were taught, and I'm pretty sure it came from headquarters. Well, Holy Spirit is not your emergency wrecker service. He's the one doing the calling.
-
He's the one who's saying come, come, get busy living, do what you're supposed to do, do what you were created to do. You come and fill this gap and you you listen to my voice right here. And in John fourteen twenty six, it says the comforter teaches. How? Oh, you should know what I'm gonna say.
-
I'll repeat it again for some of you who said, now what verse is that? John fourteen twenty six, the Holy Spirit teaches. And there's our friend, Didache. Didasco. It's all the same word variation, and it is a line upon line specific thing.
-
Some of you just wanna read the crypt's notes. I do not understand this crypt note. You want somebody else to tell you what it says and massage it in. Well, that's why I say when you have to teach something, you learn more than when you're just listening because you have to process it. You have to speak it.
-
You have to learn it, and then you have to declare it. And you're accountable for what you're saying. And listen, when you do that, you learn. How much more so should we be if the Father is teaching us and the spirit that Jesus sent is teaching us in this way. He expects us to be good stewards of what he's sending.
-
So it's not hard then for you to think why is pastor being so rigid and so diligent in this? Where's the passion? Where's the massage in? You know, you like the massage. I've never had a massage, so I don't care for one.
-
Some of you do and I bless you. But you better hope that that person that's doing it knows what they're doing and that they're not going to create a problem for you. They're not going to break your neck or crush a vertebrae or pull a muscle. They better have some idea of physiology before they start doing what you need to have done or you think you need to have done. You know, last year, some of you were already shutting your mind off when I say it, but I'm saying it anyway.
-
You know, these NFL players are million dollar investments by teams. So they have physical therapists, they have chiropractors, they have massage people, they have all kinds of things that they do. One of them is, it's not acupuncture, but it's a needling procedure. One of the guys who played for Pittsburgh, still does, who won defensive player of the year once and he's always at the top of the thing. Well whoever was doing this needle thing pierced his lung and so he missed many games.
-
It was life threatening. So, you know, you sometimes when people go to a message, sermon and they just wanna made to feel good, you know, they have itching ears, They want the pastor to tell some heartrending stories or to do illustrated sermons or to show movie clips because it's it's more like an entertainment. And that's the kind of thing they think they want. We don't find that with Jesus. What the scripture says, we don't find that with the father.
-
We don't find that with the holy spirit. But this is the baby like mentality, the serve me mentality that people want. And if you do that, you're never gonna be much of a servant of the heavenly father. You're just not it's just the truth. You're just you know, Paul said, you should be moving in the oracle.
-
You should be functioning with strong meat, but I can't share any of those things with you because you're babies again. You want milk. What does he mean by functioning in the oracle? Strong meat belongs to those who who are of full age. They're mature.
-
They've been instructed. They've had experience in God, but they've been instructed. And experience and instruction are not the same thing. Instruction with experience is great. Experience itself, depending on what that person has believed, can be damning.
-
Crazy traditions are formed out of experience that has been passed down by people who didn't really know what the word said. And I said crazy doctrines, and there are a lot of them. You want one? Oh, you Pentecostal people? Well, if you look back to when at the turn of well, coming from the late eighteen hundreds and the nineteen hundreds, We used to say at the turn of the century, we're in another century.
-
Those folks paid a price for speaking in tongues, and the religious world that had doctrine and massive cathedrals, they shut down the flow of the Holy Spirit because it was against their false experience and their false traditions. If we don't know what God really said, not what your favorite authors say, and I bless other authors, but if you're basing your teaching on that, forget it. My goodness. You know, had an instructor in seminary who said, you know, and I always remembered this, when you're reading commentaries, you need to eat the meat and leave the bones. You need to eat the meat and leave out things that are are going to be harmful to you.
-
And we need to be skilled in the way we be skilled is by knowing the word, knowing the principles that have already been shown in the word from a pneumatikos perspective. And if you forget those, you'll just be swallowed up by any kind of titillation that comes through Christianity. And that's that's why so many of the books are written. They're not written to inspire you in the spirit. They're written to sell books.
-
I told you that I was, and I believe the Holy Spirit used this. One day, I had the privilege of meeting with a well known prophet. This was early on. He was speaking at a conference, and I appreciated having that that opportunity because his prophetic group was basically teaching us about how to prophesy, what to do, and we built from that. And I always blessed them for that.
-
But on the other side of the room, maybe 30 feet away, there were some of the most well known teachers in Christianity. They're still out there and they were meeting with a publisher and the publisher was saying this. I thank God I have the ability to hear two things at once. I was listening to the prophet speak and he was having lunch, so while he was chewing I was listening to this other group. He said, well, we forecast the next thing that's coming in Christianity is this, so we need you to start writing about this because then the market will be wanting the materials that you're teaching.
-
And he went on to say a lot of other things that had nothing to do with the spirit. It was all money, and I bless them. But if if you are thinking that that's gonna form your doctrine, that they they were coerced into producing a volume of material for the purpose of anticipating something that was a trend, and so whether you know anything about it or not, you produce something. It's not a very good basis to be trained by the spirit, is it? And I bless all of them.
-
I'm just telling you, your teacher is the word, and if we learn something through the word, you better remember it. Well, nobody else is teaching it. I don't care what anybody else is teaching. I only care what the Holy Spirit is showing us. I bless other people, but they're not my responsibility.
-
You are. It's kinda like what I used to tell my daughters. You know, you need to learn this topic in school. You need to learn this. If you don't know it, it's not acceptable.
-
You need to learn this. But nobody else is having to do this. I don't care about anybody else. I care about you, future Phi Beta Kappa scholars. And those mechanisms for learning will follow them through life.
-
And if you just have a slip shot, anything goes. That's why our country and the school systems is in terrible condition where kids are graduating in major, major cities, They're graduating from high school and they can only read in a fourth grade level. Whose fault is that? It's not any kind of supremacy. In fact, it's the opposite.
-
Well, we just want our kids to graduate. Wow, we can't be that kind of saint. So let's actually read a verse. Some of you purists have been waiting for this. And listen, these verses I've been referencing, I've been reading them for the past four hours.
-
So I'm not just barking up a tree here. I'm telling you, here this is, study it for yourself. Well, helping us study it pastor. Do you need a primer on olive tree again? Go to one of those verses I told you, click on this word, do a search, it's real easy, and see how the Holy Spirit used this.
-
Well, liked it better when you put it all out in 20 sheets of paper for me. I got a stack of them finding the back of my Bible. It's thicker than George Costanza's wallet. Well, I love those. We'd use those.
-
Our people teach from those. But you better know how to study to show yourself approved. A workman that needs not to be ashamed. Boy, I'm really fired up today, aren't I? Okay.
-
Let's look at Matthew chapter 28 verse 20. Actually, let's look at verse 19. Okay? Everybody got it? Matthew 28 verse 19.
-
Go you therefore and teach all nations. Now that word teach is an interesting word and it's interesting for a number of reasons. From practical, from a very, for Matthew, a practical standpoint is that you see it's Mathewteo. Where do think he got his name from? Matthew.
-
And this is to become a pupil transitively to disciple, I'm reading right out of Strong's, you should have it there too, enroll as a scholar, to become a disciple, and to follow precepts and instructions. So this is the core of teaching that makes disciples and how disciples should function. So you're going therefore and you're teaching the nations. When you go to the nations, this is what you are to be establishing. Got it?
-
Now the next part of this is something that the enemy used to split up a fraction from the main core of the Pentecostal visitation in the early nineteen hundreds. The Jesus only crowd, where this verse says we're to be baptized in the name of the father and son and the holy ghost. Those folks got all wound up saying you baptize in Jesus name. So they had a they had a had a hornet's nest discussion, and they gave each other the left foot of fellowship, and they went off on their own, the oneness people. Later on, not too much later on, racism hit and the African American people, which were at that time called black folks, split from the whities, or the whities made the split.
-
Mostly it was the whities that made the split, but there were voices within the other faction that were more than happy to split. And I understand that. I'm not taking sides. It's a tragedy, and in many ways, one that the church has not yet recovered from. But this Jesus only thing was was just I don't know what I'd say is more ridiculous, but I'll say perhaps the spiritual, miscreant view of the scripture.
-
Anytime the scripture is not taught right, that's the tragedy. So I I wanna look at this, though. Jesus says, go. Well, I don't wanna go. Send somebody else.
-
We're going too much. There's that is happening in Brazil in some places now. Why do we have to go all these other places? You just did stay here and pat me on the head and give me cookies and milk. You shouldn't be going.
-
So why did Jesus lead by saying go therefore and teach all nations? The Parete's Parete's principle, you cannot invalidate. Make this discipleship training the core in the nations. But then baptizing, immersing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Do you mind if I look at this in a different way?
-
Now when we baptize people in water, we say in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit. So just know that we're following this. But could it also be that Jesus, he's saying, you raise up these disciples, these people that are gonna be trained, and you immerse them in what it means to represent the name of the father. And you immerse them in what it means to be a son, and you immerse them in what it means to move with the Holy Spirit. I think that both options are what is really meant here.
-
Because if you're just using this as a form to dip somebody in water and bring them up, as miraculous and as necessary as that is, if they leave that water and they don't know, I'm supposed to be as a son before the father. And millions have encouraged that process of water baptism, and we believe in it, and the people that come up out of that water, most of them have no conception that they're supposed to know the father. And I think even the purest among us would have to agree with that. What about what it's really like to be a son? Well, remember the progression that's listed in the scripture of babies to children, paideia, to those that would then become growing towards sonship?
-
Do you think they really understand? Well, it's all the same pastor. When I become born again, I had everything because Jesus has done everything he's gonna do and all I'm waiting on is for the trumpet to blow. Do you think most of the church knows what sonship is? You better answer that candidly.
-
And what about the Holy Spirit? See, are we really baptized in all three of those? Are we? Did we die to self to live in that? Just the thought.
-
When Jesus goes on from there. Verse 20. Oh, I wonder what this is. Teaching them. Didasco.
-
Oh my goodness. There it is again. You thought that we had that we had left that pasture, but here we are again. So what's Jesus say? Let's just go back just it's written in red.
-
Go ye therefore and teach all nations. You establish this discipleship format. You acquaint them, yes, baptize in water, but when they're coming up out, before they even start drying off, you make sure that they devote themselves to know the Father, to commit themselves to Him, to know what it means to be a son, following Jesus' example and working with Him, and thirdly, being absolutely baptized in the Holy Spirit, committed to moving with the comforter. Hope that would be. But then the next word is to dasco.
-
And what is it? To observe. This is terio, this isn't just standing around gawking from the back foyer. Well, know what, I'm just observing. My job here is like Sam the American Eagle from the Muppet Show.
-
I just watch. I'm a watcher. Gonna make sure everybody else is doing what they're supposed to do. Well, what I think they're supposed to do. Observe Esterio.
-
So Jesus says, go, go where to the nations? Make this discipleship paradigm functional. Let them then in that embrace the father, embrace sonship, and embrace the moving of the Holy Spirit. And then the next word to DASCO in terio. We could just say it that way.
-
Line upon line teaching in the terio, because that's what the original says. And make sure that they're learning all things whatever I have commanded you. Intellomai. This is an imperative. It is that measure where intelligence is being brought forward and developed, and, it's what Jesus has commanded and what he's continuing to command.
-
Because I'm with you always, even to the end of the world. Are we at the end of the world yet? Oh, and then he throws in that wonderful word, amen, which is the right hand, and it's also one of the names of God. This is a power packed thing. We're not finished yet.
-
Oh, please stop pastor. You're being so mean to me today. Are you talking to me? I'm talking to everybody. Say amen or ouch, as Kenneth Hagin used to say.
-
Let's just do some further study, kids, on this Wednesday night prayer and study. So if you go back up there, go ye therefore and teach, and you click on the meaning of the word and that pops Mathetuo. So hit search. Let's see how else this is used. Oh, I love this.
-
We've taught on this, but not for a while. Matthew 13 verse 52. Every scribe which is instructed, there it is, Matthew Teo, Under the kingdom of heaven is like a man that is a householder, which bring forth treasure out of his treasure, out of his thesaurus, we've studied that word too, things both kainos, that's what the spirit is showing us right now, right now, and those things that are paleos, those things that are ancient, but from the standpoint of, well, it's not what my granddaddy used to speak. What should granddaddy have been doing in building off of those foundational things? So if you're gonna be ministering the things of the kingdom in a type of a thing, this is what you do.
-
So it's not just mean old pastor saying it. Joseph of Arimathea. And remember when we studied this and we said that could have been Rama. Arimathea. But that's debatable.
-
But I lean very strongly toward that this is where this guy came from. The one that brought all that myrrh. It's a double issuance. Who also was Matthew two o, Jesus Matthew two o. Wow, here he is, Joseph of Arimathea from Rama is a double issuance of this process with Jesus.
-
I think that is magnificent. What about you? I do. That's that's wonderful. And there's our Matthew twenty eight nineteen.
-
Acts The fourteen twenty one, this is the last one. When they had preached the gospel, when the has been brought forward to that city. They taught many, Mathieu, and they returned again to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch. This is what the church did. And I'm not talking apologetics either, okay?

See, there was an apologetics movement where people were trained, and there were some good things about this, to really make a defined presentation of those things that you believe. Now I'm all for that, but a lot of the people that were doing apologetics were doing it from an argumentative standpoint. And a lot of the apologetics in some of those denominations was aimed at debunking the move of the Holy Spirit. I know that. How do I know it?
-
Because for one thing, I bought their Bible and I read it for myself. So I'm not on hearsay, I'm on their say. So, but you need to at least apply the things that the spirit from a pneumonicos perspective, from the word has revealed. And you need to know them. You need to live them, apply them in your terio.
-
And because from another perspective, just like in school, you learn whatever you're supposed to learn in this class in eighth grade. Ninth grade, hopefully you know what you learned in the eighth grade, and you can build off that. Tenth grade advanced studies or for those that were of a higher IQ maybe you went into advanced studies when you're in ninth grade. I don't know. One of my granddaughters was telling me about a friend of hers at 14 years old that just began at SMU, a Doogeyhauser as it were.
-
But you build off, and if we don't know the pneumonicas understanding, when the Holy Spirit is trying to guide us into further truth, we're clueless. Why? Because we slept through or forgot what he taught us two years ago. That's not acceptable. This is dad talking.
-
That's not acceptable. Oh, I just don't get it. Well, what you're really saying is that when God created you and he made you for this timeframe to use you in this moment, that somehow on God's assembly line, he messed up, knowing full well that you should have been moving in these things, but somehow you were in the wrong line when your brain was made and you can't figure this out. Try telling God that when you stand before him. Try telling him, it's too hard.
-
Boy, I'm really coming at you today. Why? Because the time is short. See, we're facing this in other countries right now. There are already people, our pastors who have committed themselves to going after this calling of Saints, many of the people in their congregation are saying the very things that I've just said to you, things that I have heard as criticisms over the years.
-
We don't want to have to study. We don't want to have to learn. We don't want you to talk about these things from the scriptures. Just tell us the old old story that we really haven't been living, mind you, but tell us it over and over and over again. No.
-
We don't want to invest ourselves. We just want you to serve us. You don't love us anymore. So we're gonna hop, skip, and jump to one of the other hundreds of churches around here who will who will draw us close and pat us on the head. They won't expect anything out of us.
-
We don't want to have to tithe. We don't want to have to do any of these things. And you're going to Manaus, you're going to Curitiba, you're going to Rio De Janeiro, you're going to Fost Du Igleso, you're going here, you're going there. No, no, no. We're not going any.
-
No, no. We won't go. No, no. We won't go. You need to just stay here and baby us because we're not feeling loved.
-
Yep. That's happening. So and does any of that sound like the word of God is with the naysayers? You know, there were many days when I was growing up that I did not wanna go to school. I just didn't.
-
Now, for me, I rode the bus every day from seventh grade to twelfth grade because we lived so far out on the very border of our borough in the Pittsburgh REIT area. And so my bus came to pick me up at 06:15 every morning, come snow, come storm, whatever. I remember so many days when it would be to have a big snowfall, and you know, when it would snow a lot, everything was so quiet in the morning. You couldn't hear anything outside. And suddenly I hear this ching ching ching ching ching ching ching and here came the school bus with chains on the tires.
-
We were going to school. But I didn't want to go. And you know, the reason that I went was that I knew that if I missed that bus, my dad would be all over me. So I didn't want to miss that bus. But I didn't want to go.
-
I didn't want to do homework either until I figured out if to do what I really wanted to do, I needed to get my homework done. And that was the factor. I'm just being really honest with you here. But I'm thankful that I did learn something. So I know that human nature and the natural mind wants to fight against the things the spirit is doing.
-
You need to take responsibility and say, this is in the word. This pneumatikos stuff, we're called to the nations. The time is short. We gotta train people. We can't just go in there and preach at them.
-
Oh, we had international people come. What wonderful meetings we had. That's not cutting it. I don't want to have any part of that. If we're going where the Holy Spirit wants to go, I don't care about having good meetings.
-
I've had hundreds of them. It's true. And my litmus is how many of them, how many of those people are generating disciples? And and then, you know, we've had wonderful places around the world where we got to know people, and we were teaching these things, and they were all excited about having us come, lay hands on them, talk about angels, have spiritual experiences, but when we started saying, okay, we need to start interpreting, because that's what the Bible says. We need to start studying the deeper things of the word.
-
Some of those people said no. Some places were conveners. They loved bringing in, it was almost like filling a circus tent. We're gonna have these people come this week and they're gonna entertain us. Next week we're gonna have another group, they're gonna entertain us.
-
And if there were two or three of these tents in town, the people could choose between which one they wanted to go to. After a while, they said, We don't really want this message, but we still wanna be your friends. The classic breakup. I don't wanna be your girlfriend anymore, but can we be friends? That was said one time to me.
-
I didn't like it. So the thing is that we had to we blessed them, but we had to go where we could make disciples. Well, that doesn't sound Christ like. Do you really read your word? Do you really read the scripture?
-
Seems to me that I remember, and I do remember Jesus saying, when you go into a city, if there are those that accept the mission you have, dwell with them. But if they reject the peace, the mission of peace, you leave that place and you shake the dust off. There are other places it says that. Woe to you Tyre and Sidon. Jesus is saying woe to you, you know.
-
It's all about the message. I'm not cursing anybody, but we have a mission to represent the kingdom, to pray, to partner with the angelic that God's purpose will be done, but the additional mission when we go into the nations is to raise up others called by the spirit who will embrace this same mission, because that's what we have to have in their terriole. If they don't want it, we bless them. If they just want to keep playing church, we bless them. We're not condemning or cursing anybody, but you got to go with the ones that are wanting to be trained.
-
And I pray for those pastors. You know, an advisor down there told me about a certain place that one of the places we've gone, the leader there wanted the excitement of having the people entertained, but he didn't really wanna teach his people. That's a big red strike. And I pray for them. We need to pray for thee.
-
This is a hard decision for any pastor to say, I'm I'm gonna follow, though none go with me. Who is on the Lord's side? This is what is in the scripture. This isn't a crazy American idea, and there are a lot of them out there. This is God's word, and we're gonna follow him.
-
There's a price to pay for that. We had to pay that price. Others of you had to pay that price. Broad is the way that leads to destruction. Narrow is the way that leads to salvation, and few there be that find it.
-
Many are called. Few chose. Wow. But it's it's the best way. I love the word.
-
I love when the father is teaching. I love when he sends his angel to to release skill and understanding. I love when the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. I love when we can bring fresh words. But we've got to do something with it.
-
Stewards of the mysteries of God. And that's what we're doing. We're celebrating here as the Saints Network. And you know what? I'm so grateful for those of you who we're bonded with in the Saints Network.
-
You come here and it blesses me to see the way you're functioning in the spirit, in the word. And you know what? Sometimes it it's a gift to me for another reason. And on the one hand with this this gift, I'm embarrassed, but on the other hand, I'm blessed because you come in and you remind my people what they should be doing. I better stop right there.
-
Thanks for joining today. Those of you who hear this sometime during the day, we'll see you tonight for prayer. Don't forget to register for seminar and we look forward to being with so many of you in person next week. Till then, God bless and goodbye.
