  24. subject that we're going to be studying about, talking about

  25. the judgment this evening.

  26. But before we do.

  27. That, we're going to start with our theme songs. So

  28. let's stand together. We'll sing together, beautiful.

  29. Beautifuliful, beautiful.

  31. my life, carefully switching me causing my sea. Jesus makes

  32. beautiful things of my love.

  33. Turn your eyes upon Jesus.

  34. Turno eyes a Punchesesus looveful, is wonderful face, and the

  35. thief feel cross strangely.

  36. In the line of his color.

  37. Great this evening past, the Adam is going to be

  38. bringing us our prayer. Let's bow our hits.

  39. Father, God Lord, we thank you so much for the

  40. privilege of being gathered this evening, gathered through the name

  41. of Jesus, with the opportunity to have our hearts and

  42. our minds opened by the love that He has for us,

  43. an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to enlighten us about

  44. the times in which we live so that we can

  45. understand what is to come. Lord, we thank you for

  46. your word. We thank you for the promises held within.

  47. We thank you for the prophecies that make it clear

  48. the time in which we live. So, Lord, thank you

  49. for the privilege that we have of gathering in this room,

  50. of gathering in our homes. And we are so grateful

  51. that the Holy Spirit is everywhere with us at one time.

  52. So tonight, Lord, our prayers that we have an encounter

  53. with you, that we learn something new, and we leave

  54. from this experience edified, growing in our knowledge of You,

  55. our understanding of the times in which we live. And Lord,

  56. with a word of encouragement to share with somebody else.

  57. We thank you and we praise you in the beautiful

  58. name of Jesus.

  59. Amen, please be seated now before we have our special

  60. music this evening. I just want to thank Pastor Adam

  61. because he is the past of the Host Church. It's

  62. been a real privilege to be able to work with

  63. him and his team. You can imagine putting something like

  64. this together requires a lot of prep and pre work

  65. and organizing, and we really appreciate Pastor Adam, you and

  66. your team for the work you've done, and we get

  67. to enjoy a children's choir, the Joyful Praise Children's Choir,

  84. bringing us that beautiful item of music. Well, friends, it

  85. is time for our Bible Q and A. And you

  86. know the way this works. If you have a Bible

  87. question and you'd like to post it, it's easy. All

  88. you have to do is scan the QR code bring

  89. to put that up on the screen right now and

  90. you'll see that over there for those of you who

  91. are here as well as our friends who are watching.

  92. If you'd like to post your Bible question, just scan

  93. that QR code and we will try to answer as

  94. many of the questions as possible. Well before we gain

  95. to begin our program this evening, we're gonna allow our

  96. team here on stage to do some things to move around.

  97. But we do want to remind you this evening we

  98. have an important presentation and the next presentation is when

  99. not tomorrow evening, but Friday evening. Tonight's Wednesday evening. The

  100. next presentation is actually gonna be on Friday evening, So

  101. you have one night off, but make sure that you're back.

  102. We have a very important final weekend dealing with these

  103. different Bible topics. Well, I'd like to invite pass A

  104. Doug to come join me and we will get right

  105. into your Bible questions. Good evening, Passa Doug.

  106. Good evening. Weren't those kids great? That was fun? And

  107. man they did a good job all right.

  108. Christ Number one, does Satan have power to bring natural

  109. disasters upon the earth?

  110. Yes. For one thing you can read in the Book

  111. of Job that it says the devil went forth from

  112. the presence of the Lord, and among the things he

  113. did is bringing fire down from heaven. He smote the

  114. corners of one of their children's homes with some tornado,

  115. a great wind and so often when there's a storm

  116. or bad weather, people call it an act of God.

  117. But the devil actually can manipulate the elements. In one

  118. of the final signs in Revelation thirteen, he will bring

  119. down fire on the earth and the side of men

  120. to deceive them. So yes, to some extent, Satan does

  121. have some controller power over weather and the elements.

  122. All right. Question number two is the Garden of Eden

  123. in heaven? And if it is, how did it get there?

  124. Well, we believe it is in heaven because the Bible

  125. tells us that God planted a garden. It's a special

  126. garden that he planted, and it had boundaries because when

  127. Adam and Eve sinned and Eve were evicted from the garden,

  128. and there was an angel place at the gates to

  129. guard the way to the Tree of life. You read

  130. in Revelation twenty one the New Jerusalem will come down

  131. out of God from heaven, which makes us believe before

  132. the flood, God assumed it up to heaven, just like

  133. Jesus was caught up to heaven to preserve it. So

  134. God's garden will be restored. It will be central park

  135. of the New Jerusalem. And so I think that he

  136. brought it up before the flood to preserve it along

  137. with the Tree of Life, because the Bible says the

  138. Tree of Life is in the New Jerusalem, and so

  139. if God can bring a city down, he can bring

  140. them a garden up. Amen, that's what we believe. All right.

  141. Well, last night you spoke about clean and unclean meats,

  142. and we have a couple of questions that came in

  143. about that. So the first one is, can you please

  144. explain first Timothy, Chapter four, verse four, which seems to

  145. state that everything God created is good, good and should

  146. not be rejected.

  147. All right, let me read this to you more. Let's

  148. see where shall I begin. Now I'll start with verse one. Now,

  149. the spirit speaks expressly saying that in the latter time,

  150. some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving

  151. spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies and hypocrisy, having

  152. their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry. No,

  153. there's a clue. This religious power is going to maybe

  154. forbid their priesthood to marry, forbidding to marry and commanding

  155. me see forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from foods,

  156. what kind of foods? Foods which God has created to

  157. be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know

  158. the truth. These are foods that are created to be received,

  159. which means there are some foods that are created not

  160. to be received. They're called unclean. And then he says,

  161. for every creature of God is good, and nothing is

  162. to be refused if it's received with thanksgiving, for it

  163. is sanctified by the word of God in prayer. Now,

  164. Paul is not saying that you can eat anything that

  165. crawls across your plate. Let me prove that. Are you

  166. sitting by anybody tonight, Take a look at them for

  167. just a minute. They are a creature. Every creature of

  168. God is good, and nothing is to be refused if

  169. it is received with thanksgiving in prayer. Are you cannibals?

  170. Is God making a blanket statement here that you can

  171. eat anything, cockroaches, skunk's, vultures. No, he's saying it is

  172. sanctified by the word of God. There are creatures which

  173. are sanctified by the Word of God, and there are

  174. some that are not. And the big battle is in

  175. the early Church, the gentiles who converted to Christianity were

  176. being told by the Jewish Christians, oh, you can't eat

  177. that lamb or that chicken because it was offered in

  178. a sacrifice in the Temple of Apollo and it is unclean. Now,

  179. it had nothing to do with clean and unclean meats.

  180. It had to do with things offered to idols. Let

  181. me bring this to our day. How many do you

  182. like Chinese food? Have you ever been to a Chinese

  183. or a Thai restaurant that had a statue of a Buddha?

  184. Does that keep you from eating? Are you worshiping Buddha?

  185. There are some people that are very sensitive and they think,

  186. you know, if I eat in the place that has

  187. an idol of Buddha, then maybe I'm supporting false religion. Now,

  188. you and I you say, well, look, I'm receiving it

  189. with thanksgiving and prayer. It's not a problem. This is

  190. what they were facing back then. The very fastidious Jews

  191. were saying, you can't eat things sacrifice in these Roman marketplaces.

  192. Proof of this is Paul says, and I think it's

  193. First Corinthians. Whatever is sold in the shambles, that means

  194. the flea market eat, asking no questions for conscience. Sake.

  195. Don't go say did you offer this to Jupiter? Did

  196. you offer this to Apollo? Just buy it. If it's

  197. a clean animal, pray over it. It's okay. Does that

  198. make sense. He's not saying you can eat anything. That

  199. would be an absurd interpretation. All right.

  200. Another question that we have related to the same subject.

  201. How do you explain Mark chapter seven, verse nineteen, where

  202. it says that Jesus declared old foods clean?

  203. All right, Mark chapter seven. Let's read this he's talking about.

  204. First of all, the discussion has nothing to do with

  205. any particular food. It has to do with your disciples

  206. are eating without ceremonially washing their hands. That's what they're

  207. talking about. And let's see here. We'll go to verse

  208. seventeen when he entered a house away from the crowd.

  209. As disciples asked him concerning this parable, he said, are

  210. you thus without understanding? Do you not perceive that whatever

  211. enters a man from the outside cannot defile him because

  212. it does not enter his heart but his stomach and

  213. is eliminated, thus purifying all foods. So well, it makes

  214. it sound like is Jesus there purifying all foods? No,

  215. that actually is translated it goes in the mouth, and

  216. it is eliminated, purging you ever, you know what a

  217. purgative is. A purgative is a laxative. The original language

  218. is saying it is eliminated. He said, that's not touching

  219. your heart. And he's talking about eating with unwashed hands.

  220. If you're reading a new King James version, you'll see

  221. it's different than the NIV says thus declaring all foods clean,

  222. that is not in the original Greek. The translators added

  223. that Jesus did not say that you can eat anything.

  224. Your doctor will not tell you can eat anything. You

  225. will not tell your children that they can eat anything.

  226. He's talking here about a discussion about eating with hands

  227. that were and were not ceremonially washed. All right, by

  228. the way, pardon me. It's not what goes in your

  229. mouth that defiles you, but what comes out. That's what

  230. Jesus said. I use that verse against the pastor that

  231. told me, Doug, you need to quit smoking. I said,

  232. I read it right here, Pastor. It's not what goes

  233. in your mouth that defiles you, but what comes out.

  234. He said, yeah, but what's going in your mouth is

  235. defiling what's coming out, And girls told me when they

  236. kissed me it was like licking an ash tray. Its

  237. pretty defiling. If you drink alcohol and you say, it's

  238. not what goes in my mouth defiles me, but what

  239. comes out, what goes in your mouth defiles what comes out.

  240. Isn't that right? So let's not abuse the scriptures to

  241. say more than it's really saying. All right.

  242. Another question that we have, also from John. It says

  243. some priests claim the power to forgive sins based upon

  244. the understanding of John Chapter twenty, verse twenty one. Can

  245. you please explain John twenty, verse.

  246. Twenty Okay, here we go. Let me see here. Uh So,

  247. Jesus said to them, peace be to you, as the

  248. Father sent me, I send you. And he breathed on

  249. them and said, receive the Holy Spirit. And I think

  250. they're talking about verse twenty three. If you forgive the

  251. sins of any, they are forgiven. If you retain the

  252. sins of any there retained. Now is Jesus telling the

  253. apostles you get to decide aenie meanie minem. I'll forgive you,

  254. but I'm not going to forgive you. I don't like

  255. the looks of you. And no he's saying, in preaching

  256. the gospel, people's sins will be forgiven. In not distributing

  257. the gospel, people's sins are retained. It's in that sense

  258. that you and I are making a difference for eternity

  259. as we share the message of Christ. Jesus is not

  260. saying the apostles had the power to go around say

  261. I think I'll forgive you, and I will not forgive you.

  262. All right. Another question that we have. The Bible says

  263. that God hardened Pharaoh's heart. What does this mean?

  264. Compare scripture with scripture. In one place it says God

  265. hardened Pharaoh's heart, it does say that. Another place it

  266. says Pharaoh hardened his heart. God sent circumstances, and those

  267. circumstances hardened Pharaoh's heart. Where some people might be humbled

  268. by the same circumstances. You know, some people go through

  269. a tough time and they become angry at God and

  270. they harden their hearts. The same circumstances soften. The sun

  271. shines on clay and it gets hard. The same sun

  272. will shine on wax and it gets soft. Same sun.

  273. The substance is different. Pharaoh had a proud heart. The

  274. circumstances that God sent. He got prouder and prouder and

  275. more stubborn. Even his own counselors said, can you not

  276. see this as the finger of God? Let the people go?

  277. Humble yourself. But he was proud and stubborn. So when

  278. he said I'm hardening his heart, he just meant I'm

  279. going to send circumstances and you're going to see what

  280. he's really like. All right.

  281. Another question that we have Revelations, chapter sixteen, verse twelve.

  282. It's it is that the waters of the river Euphrates

  283. are being dried up to prepare the way of the

  284. kings of the East. What does this mean?

  285. Yeah, when the children of Israel were in Babylon, in

  286. order for them to go home from Babylon, it needed

  287. to be conquered by the Persians. The general Cyrus diverted

  288. the Euphrates river. Because the Euphrates ran under the walls

  289. of Babylon. Well, unless you had scuba gear, you couldn't

  290. get in that way. But they had not anticipated that

  291. the Persians. He had a whole army. They dug a

  292. big channel that diverted the river into a dry lake bed.

  293. They dug all the whole channels, and they waited until night.

  294. They broke the dam. All the water suddenly turned and diverted.

  295. The water level going under the walls of Babylon dried up,

  296. it went down. Some soldiers went in, not the whole army,

  297. but enough went in. Like the Trojans, they opened the

  298. gate unless the rest of the army in. They had

  299. actually left open the inner gates because they thought they're

  300. never going to get in. And that's foretold in Isaiah

  301. chapter forty four and forty five. Even the name of

  302. the King says, I will dry up the rivers before you.

  303. And that's what happened. All right.

  304. Another question that we have, Oh how does this time

  305. to the Book of Revelation in the Last Days.

  306. Yeah, well, when it says the sixth plague, it says

  307. the Euphrates river will dry up, it's saying that the

  308. resources and the life that supplies Babylon. The Euphrates was

  309. the main source of life and power and vitality to Babylon.

  310. It dried up. And you can also read darknesses on

  311. the seat of the beasts spiritual Babylon. So all of

  312. their power and their light is just going to dry

  313. up and don't be surprised if the Euphrates river doesn't

  314. also literally dry up, because the other plagues are literal too. Right,

  315. we see that the Euphrates level is going down. I

  316. think that's interesting, but it's not the last plague yet, all.

  317. Right, Next question that we have. The Bible says that

  318. if we confess that sins, that'll be forgiven. But what

  319. if I can't remember the sins that I have committed,

  320. therefore I can't confess them.

  321. Well, don't worry about that. I think it was Mark

  322. Twain that said, it's not the mysteries in the Bible

  323. that caused me sleepless nights. It's the good I know

  324. I should do. Don't worry about what you don't remember.

  325. The Holy Spirit may bring something to your attention, and

  326. you may pray that prayer. King David prayed where he said,

  327. Lord and psalms, search me and try me see if

  328. there be any wicked way in me, and lead me

  329. in the way everlasting. God will reveal to you the

  330. things that need repenting, and you repent of those things,

  331. and God will forgive you. You might make a list

  332. like the ten Commandments, and just go through the ten

  333. commandments and say Lord, I'm guilty of all these things.

  334. Summarize it. I've lied, I've stolen, I've had impure thoughts,

  335. or whatever it might be, and then say God forgive

  336. me for my sins. You don't have remember every specific

  337. sin because no one here can just confess the categories.

  338. All right, Well, I think that's it for our Bible

  339. questions this evening. Again, we will remind you our next

  340. program will be on Friday evening and we will take

  341. your Bible questions. Just scan the QR code and you

  342. can type in your Bible question. I think we're going

  343. to put that QR code up on the screen one

  344. more time. You can take out your phone and you

  345. can scan it. Of course, we'll try to answer as

  346. many as possible. At this time, Shana Ash and Jackie

  347. Jewele are going to be bringing us a beautiful item

  348. entitled the Lamb of God.

  349. Your leaon no sin, to hide.

  350. Body you have seen him from yourself, to back upon.

  351. This guilty.

  352. And to become bad.

  374. We shore you appreciate the music Shana and Jackie using

  375. their gifts to bring a blessing to so many.

  376. Thank you for the music.

  377. Our presentation tonight is an important topic. It's less a

  378. number thirteen. It's entitled Decoding the Longest Prophecy in the Bible.

  379. You're going to be looking at a fascinating prophecy found

  380. in the heart of the Book of Daniel this evening

  381. and how that relates to our time. We also remind

  382. those who are watching Our free offer is a magazine

  383. entitled Daniel and Revelation. For those of you who are watching,

  384. if you'd like to get a digital download of the magazine,

  385. just scan the QR code that you see on your screen,

  386. or you can text the code Daniel twenty five to

  387. the number four zero five four four and you'll be

  388. able to get a digital copy of the magazine. Now,

  389. as mentioned, this is a summary of all of the

  390. key prophecies both in the Book of Daniel and Revelation.

  391. So it is a great resource if you want to

  392. look at what different end time events are still to

  393. take place before the second Coming of Christ. It's all

  394. listed here in the magazine, so please take advantage of that.

  395. We don't always give this away, but tonight we're going

  396. to give this away if you would scan that QR code.

  397. If you don't have the lesson, it's easy to get.

  398. Just go to the website Prophecycountdown dot tv and you

  399. can download lesson. Number thirteen is the one that we're

  400. going to be studying tonight. Also, if you're at the website,

  401. you'll notice we have fifteen different languages that we are

  402. translating these programs into. And if you'd like to listen

  403. to the program or watch in a different language, you

  404. can do so, and they say it's about a three

  405. to five second delay. Of course, we're using AI to

  406. do that, and it's getting better and better all the time,

  407. and folks that they really appreciate watching in different languages.

  408. We have an international audience, so people are joining us

  409. around the world. Maybe they're not watching this live because

  410. of time zones, but they will be watching it when

  411. it's relevant for them in their time zone. So that's

  412. why we are translating in the languages. So this evening,

  413. I hope you're ready decoding the longest prophecy. That's our study.

  414. Welcome once again, friends to prophecy. Countdown what's next? And

  415. we're so thankful to see each of you so faithfully

  416. coming here all through the week in Crowley, Texas. And

  417. we've made so many dear friends. Pastor Ross and I

  418. are very excited because we have Missus Batchelor and Missus

  419. Ross are finally here joining us. I've come from California.

  420. Why don't you stand Karen and Ruth, we're over here

  421. to the side. And so if you see a little

  422. sparkle in our eye in the last few meetings, that's

  423. part of the reason for that, Well, we're so glad

  424. you're here. We want to welcome those who are watching

  425. on line, if you're watching on three, ABN or AFTV,

  426. Good News Network, all the internet outlets, and we know

  427. these programs will be re edited and also aired on

  428. Fasten your seatbelt, as I said, because there's a lot

  429. to cover and we're going to be going fast. But

  430. I always like to start with a little amazing fact.

  431. You know, today it seems like almost everything is run

  432. by battery. Cars are run by battery, and motorcycles are

  433. run by battery, and bicycles are run by battery, and

  434. your phones are run by battery. And that there's been

  435. a great surge in the world of finding materials to

  436. make enough batteries and make batteries last longer. But who

  437. would you guess is making the longest running battery, Tesla

  438. Duracel are ever ready none of them. The longest running

  439. battery is from the Oxford Electric Bell that is in Oxford, England,

  440. and it was made in eighteen forty and it has

  441. been ringing a bell very gently for one hundred and

  442. eighty five years. And they are still mystified by exactly

  443. how this company made these two cylindrical batteries. It's wax

  444. coated with zinc and magnesium and different subjects and paper,

  445. and they can't wait until it stops working. It's slowing down.

  446. Now they know it will eventually stop. But can you

  447. imagine that battery has been powering this little lid ball

  448. has been ringing a bell between it's under a glass

  449. doome there in England for one hundred and eighty five years,

  450. and they can't wait to find out what technology did

  451. they have back then to do that. Well, we're going

  452. to look at something that is the longest time prophecy

  453. in the Bible. If you have your Bibles, I would

  454. like to invite you to turn to the Book of Daniel,

  455. chapter eight, and we're going to I won't have time

  456. to read Daniel eight and nine, or we won't get

  457. through it all. I'm gonna highlight different points, but I

  458. want you to have it open in your hands. The

  459. prophet Daniel has a vision in chapter eight. Now, in

  460. chapter seven, he has a vision that contains four unclean

  461. animals lion, leopard, bear, this dragon like beast. When you

  462. get to chapter eight, you know they're a nation of shepherds.

  463. They have a vision now of clean animals, a goat

  464. and a ram. And he has this vision of a

  465. ram with two horns, and Daniel eight verses one through four,

  466. what does the ram represent? Now, I'm not making these up.

  467. The Angel Vin comes and tells Daniel what the interpretation is.

  468. You'll see the answer. The Angel gives right up on

  469. the screen. The ram that you saw having the two horns.

  470. They are the kings of Media and Persia. You know,

  471. now we think of it as the Persian Empire. Originally

  472. it was called the Meadow Persian Empire. It tells us

  473. in the vision that the ram had one horn that

  474. was bigger than the other, and that was because the

  475. Persians were more powerful. Eventually they really subsumed the Median power,

  476. and it's known as the Persian Empire. And then you

  477. go into question number two. Moving right along, Daniel next

  478. saw a goat, not a ram. A ram, of course,

  479. is a male sheep. This is a goat with a

  480. great horn, a single horn between his eyes. And this

  481. goat furiously charges at the ram, breaks its horns and

  482. beats it to smitherings. Who is this goat power? What

  483. does the angel tell us Daniel? Chapter eight verse twenty

  484. one and twenty two. The male goat is the kingdom

  485. of Greece. Remember we learned when we talked about beasts

  486. and revelation, that these beasts are talking about kingdoms. And

  487. here's an example of that. And the large horn between

  488. its eyes is the is what the first king. And

  489. as for the broken horn horn and the four that

  490. stood up in its place, four kingdoms will rise out

  491. of that nation, but not with the same original power

  492. of that king. Who do you think that great Grecian

  493. king was. That's better known as Alexander the Great. He

  494. was of Macedon, but that's in Greece, the son of

  495. Philip of Macedon. He was highly educated by Aristotle, a

  496. very bright and brave young man with an ambition, one

  497. of they believe, one of the greatest military geniuses of history.

  498. He was absolutely fearless. He would lead his battles in

  499. charging and once he nearly got killed because he was

  500. the first over the wall and he got stabbed badly.

  501. But he conquered the Persians, it says, the male goat

  502. represents Greece, which conquered the Persian Empire. Its big horn

  503. is a symbol of this first ruler Alexander the Great.

  504. The Kingdom of Alexander even expanded farther than the Kingdom

  505. of Persia. But while Alexander or could conquer the world,

  506. he could not conquer himself. And you heard the story

  507. that he sat down and cried because there was no

  508. worlds left to conquer. That maybe a little bit of mythology,

  509. but it is true that he at a party became

  510. discouraged and he was drinking, and they don't know whether

  511. it was malaria or alcohol poisoning, but he woke up

  512. with a fever the next day and as they could see,

  513. he was dying. The big question was who will rule

  514. in your place, and he famously answered the strongest. And

  515. what happened then is his kingdom was divided among his

  516. four generals, and their names were Cassiander, Lessimicus, Potolemy, and Seleucus,

  517. and that ended up being divided into these four empires.

  518. And the Greeks really they spread their Hellenization, their Greek

  519. culture all through this empire. Even if you go to

  520. Afghanist Antony, they've done DNA studies and they can see

  521. that they have Greek blood among the Afghanis. Because his

  522. kingdom stretched all the way to the borders of India,

  523. into Egypt, up into Greece, and the borders of what

  524. would be the next kingdom. Now a little horn grows

  525. out of one of the four horns. The four horns

  526. were the four divisions of Alexander's kingdom. A little horn

  527. springs up of the four. What power or kingdom does

  528. this little horn represent? Well, if you know your history,

  529. you know what kingdom ended up following You got Babylon, Meado, Persia,

  530. Greece than what Rome. You can read there in Acts

  531. chapter eighteen, verse two, Claudius Caesar had commanded all the

  532. Jews to depart from Rome. And it came to pass

  533. in those days Luke chapter two that Caesar Augustus commanded

  534. all the world should be registered or tax. Rome was

  535. ruling the civilized world surrounding the Mediterranean at that time.

  536. Pilot was a vassal of Rome. He was Roman governor

  537. of Judea. And when he said to the Jewish leader,

  538. shall I then kill your king? You know what? They said,

  539. we have no king but Caesar, and so here they

  540. were kind of makes you shudder to think they would

  541. say we have no king but Caesar. And they said,

  542. if you are friends with this man, then you are

  543. not Caesar's friend. And of course that frightened Pilot, where

  544. he finally washed his hands and he said, his blood

  545. is not on me, and they said his blood be

  546. upon us and our children. And the nation really did suffer.

  547. Following that, they were ultimately destroyed by the Romans. This

  548. little horn that persecuted God's people and trampled holy things

  549. that stood against Jesus starts out Pagan Rome. Rome ruled

  550. by Caesars. As Rome eventually began to disintegrate and crumble,

  551. it was then replaced by we learned Papal Rome during

  552. that time. This is the power that followed Greece, and

  553. Papal Rome followed Page In Rome, it was during the

  554. time of Rome when Christ was born. They were Roman

  555. swords that killed the babies in Bethlehem, and it was

  556. a Roman spear that pierced Jesus' side in Roman iron

  557. nails that went through his hands. Rome was the empire

  558. ruling during that time from about one sixty eight BC

  559. to about four seventy six. They didn't fall in one

  560. decisive battle. They sort of crumbled from the inside out.

  561. Number four Daniel is then told that this little horn

  562. power ends up growing and it would defile the sanctuary.

  563. How long until it's cleansed. Let's go to the Bible now,

  564. because I want to actually read this to you from

  565. the Bible Daniel chapter eight. And if you look in

  566. the Book of Daniel chapter eight, you can read this

  567. whole prophecy here. And I'll start with verse twelve, speaking

  568. of the little horn power. Because of transgression, an army

  569. was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices,

  570. and he cast the truth down to the ground. He

  571. did all this, and he practiced, and he prospered. Then

  572. I heard a holy one. These angels were acting out

  573. this vision before Daniel. I heard a holy one speaking,

  574. And another holy one said to that certain one that

  575. was speaking, how long will be the vision concerning the

  576. daily sacrifice and the transgression of desolation and the giving

  577. both of the sanctuary and the host to be trodden underfoot?

  578. And he said to me, for two thousand and three

  579. hundred days, then the sanctuary will be cleansed. Now, this

  580. is the longest time prophecy. How is it being cleansed?

  581. It's two thousand, three hundred days. And a day in

  582. prophecy represents a year. All right, let's go to our

  583. study here, and you know what, let me put the

  584. answer up here on the screen. It says here, because

  585. of transgression, an army was given over to the horn

  586. to oppose the daily sacrifices. He cast down the truth

  587. to the ground. He did all this, practiced and prospered.

  588. And there you've got the number for how long two

  589. three hundred days. And what does a day represent in

  590. Bible prophecy? It's a year. Then it will be cleansed. Now,

  591. where is God's sanctuary? The Bible tells us that back

  592. in seventy a d that the Jewish Temple was destroyed.

  593. So if we're looking at something that happens during the

  594. time of the Roman Era and beyond, God still has

  595. two sanctuaries. You're reading Hebrews, Jesus is our high priest

  596. right and the sanctuary on earth was modeled after God's sanctuary,

  597. his dwelling place in heaven. But then the Bible tells

  598. us Christ said, destroy this temple made with hands, and

  599. all make another one without hands. God has also a

  600. sanctuary on earth. What was the problem that the little

  601. Horn caused? He would cast what to the ground. The

  602. truth would be cast down, the truth about God. Jesus said,

  603. he came to show us what the fathers like, the

  604. truth about salvation, and many biblical truths were cast to

  605. the ground. During the Dark Ages, we discovered that Christianity

  606. went through a great apostasy. Paul said, I know that

  607. after my departure, grievous wolves will come in, not sparing

  608. the flock, even from among your own selves. Deceivers would

  609. arise to draw away disciples after themselves, and that there

  610. would be a corruption of the truth. And this happened now.

  611. During the Dark Ages, we learned the church in Rome

  612. began to sacrifice a lot of Christian truths for the

  613. sake of compromise. And they said, well, you know, if

  614. we make a few compromises with the Pagans, we'll bring

  615. them in. You know, by the way the church is making,

  616. I think that same mistake. Today. A lot of pastors

  617. want to grow the church at any cost. So what

  618. they do is they do a survey in the community

  619. and say what would you like in the church, And

  620. they say, well, we'd like to be able to be

  621. more relaxed in how we dress we'd like better, louder,

  622. more modern music. We would like to have coffee and

  623. donuts in the lobby. We would like to have this,

  624. and we'd like to have that. And so a lot

  625. of churches are trying to grow their church based on

  626. what the people want. Is that how we're supposed to

  627. market Christianity or does Jesus say we tell people deny yourself,

  628. take up your cross and follow me. It's a little

  629. different marketing plan. It's amazing that Christianity survive with a

  630. marketing plan like that. But back in those days after

  631. the Early Church, they said, you know, we'll get a

  632. lot more Pagans in the church if we're not so

  633. hard on them, if we're not so conservative, let them

  634. have their idols. And they made a lot of adjustment.

  635. Now I'm going to give you a list, and you're

  636. going to see some of this on the screen, some

  637. of the areas where the Protestant leaders I told you,

  638. I'm going to talk about some of the compromises that

  639. were made by Catholicism. We're going to be talking Friday

  640. night about compromises that have been made in the Protestant churches.

  641. So I'm hoping to offend everybody before we're done with

  642. this program. But I want to tell you what the

  643. Bible says, and I'm going to be plain. The Bible

  644. says we are not to bow down to statues. That

  645. is one of the ten commandments. Shadrack Niche a Bendigo,

  646. would not bow down to an image. They went to

  647. the fiery furnace. They stood up for God, and Jesus

  648. went to the furnace with them. Amen. Because they stood

  649. up for that commandment. What's going to happen in the

  650. last days? Those who do not worship the beast and

  651. its image should be killed. But the Catholic Church says

  652. it is okay to bow down to images. The Bible

  653. says that all have sinned except Jesus. The Catholic Church

  654. says that Mary was sinless. The Bible says that Jesus

  655. is the only mediator between God and man. First Timothy

  656. two five. Catholic Church says Mary is a comediator, that

  657. we pray to Jesus. He's real busy, but we can

  658. go through his mother. The Bible teaches that Christ offered

  659. his sacrifice on the cross once for all, but within Catholicism,

  660. and I used to go to Catholic School and Catholic Church.

  661. They say every time that the priest conducts the Mass,

  662. that he is re offering, and that the priest is

  663. the mediator. The Bible teaches that all Christians are saints,

  664. and we are nation of kings and priests. Within Roman Catholics,

  665. that's Ephesians one to one, and on Peter two, verse nine.

  666. Catholic Church says that the saints and the priests are

  667. a special caste, and there's a hierarchy within the church.

  668. The Bible teaches that we should call no religious leader father.

  669. Jesus said call no man father. You have one father

  670. in heaven. It doesn't mean you can't call your father daddy.

  671. He's talking about spiritual leaders. But we already know that

  672. the Catholic priests and the Pope are called father or

  673. the Supreme Father. The Bible teaches not to pray in

  674. vain repetition, as the heathen do. Yet, if you confess

  675. your sins to the priest, the priest will say, say

  676. ten Hail Mary's or four our fathers, or whatever it is,

  677. to repeat these prayers in vain repetition. The Bible teaches

  678. us to confess our sins to God, for God only

  679. can forgive sin Isaiah forty three to twenty five, Luke

  680. five twenty four. Now you see what happened during the

  681. Dark ages the truth and I'm not talking. I mean,

  682. what more shall I say about purgatory and about and

  683. baptism was compromised, and salvation is a gift. And there's

  684. so many areas where things were changed. The Truth was

  685. cast to the ground. But God said he was going

  686. to clean the sanctuary. Now there would be a cleansing

  687. of the sanctuary on earth and a cleansing of the

  688. sanctuary in heaven. And he foretold when and how that

  689. was going to happen. Stay with me, friends, this is

  690. a fascinating prophecy. All right, So I gave you this list.

  691. You might pull your cameras out if you want to

  692. snap a picture of it. We're going to put some

  693. of this up on your screen very quickly. And I

  694. just gave you like about eight points. Maybe we're not

  695. going to put it up on the screen. There we go, okay,

  696. And so I've got this list in my Bible. This

  697. does not make you popular. I did not assemble this list.

  698. This is a traditional list that all Protestants use to

  699. show what are some of the distinctive differences. But in

  700. recent years Protestants have been saying the Protest is over.

  701. They're not saying the protest is over because the Catholics

  702. have changed the theology. They haven't. They're just saying it's

  703. better that we all love each other and don't worry

  704. about doctrinal differences. Jesus prayed that we might be one,

  705. but he said, be one in truth. We should not

  706. sacrifice the truth for the sake of unity. I'm going

  707. to say that again. We should not sacrifice the truth

  708. for the sake of unity, because then you'll end up

  709. with neither unity or truth. All right? Number five? How

  710. did Daniel respond when he saw the persecution that came

  711. from this little horned power that persecuted God's people and

  712. cast the truth to the ground. That Daniel's an old

  713. man when he has his vision, it tells us I

  714. Daniel fainted. He could not even take it all in.

  715. He saw very vividly what the church was going to

  716. go through God's people, both jew and gentile. Says I fainted.

  717. I was astonished by the vision, but no one understood it.

  718. Of course, how could he from his perspective seven hundred

  719. years or five hundred years before Christ. So you go

  720. to Daniel chapter nine. God is not going to leave

  721. us in darkness. A day with the Lord is a

  722. thousand years. So God says, all right, Daniel, I'm going

  723. to give you a few years. I'll come back and

  724. explain it later. In the next chapter, the Angel returns

  725. to complete the prophecy. How long was the additional time

  726. period included in the vision? Or go to your bibles

  727. and go to Daniel chapter nine and Daniel chapter nine.

  728. If for no other reason you ought to read the

  729. prayer that Daniel gives in chapter nine. It's one of

  730. the most beautiful prayers in the Bible. The Angel comes

  731. back to him. During his prayer, you can see here,

  732. let me see here, verse twenty Daniel nine. He's praying.

  733. He's confessing his sin, the sins of God's people. Daniel.

  734. They've been in Babel in seventy years, Daniel says, I've

  735. been reading the prophecies of Jeremiah. The time is fulfilled.

  736. It's been seventy years. When are we going back to

  737. the Promised Land? God, will you forgive your people? When

  738. is the Messiah coming? Is at the heart of his prayer.

  739. The principal purpose of God calling the Jewish nation. They

  740. were to be the guardians of the truth. Paul says,

  741. they were guardians of the oracles of truth, and they

  742. were to present the Messiah to the world. The Messiah

  743. was not just for Jews. The Savior was for the

  744. whole world. Can you say amen? And so the Jews

  745. had this great privilege and responsibility, and they actually did it.

  746. They kept the scriptures together, and at Tenecost the disciples

  747. presented the Messiah to the world, and it was taken

  748. by devout Jews throughout the Roman Empire. And they really

  749. did fulfill their greatest purpose at that time. So Daniel's

  750. praying go to verse twenty. Now, while I was speaking,

  751. praying and confessing my sin and the sin of my

  752. people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my

  753. God for the holy Mountain that means the Kingdom, the

  754. nation of my God. Yes, while I was speaking in prayer,

  755. the man Gabriel, that's an angel whom I had seen

  756. in the vision at the beginning. This is chapter eight

  757. being caused to fly swiftly. That is an understatement. He

  758. reached me about the time of the evening offering, and

  759. he informed me, and he talked with me, and he said, oh, Damndaniel,

  760. I've come forth to give you skill to understand. Understand

  761. what chapter eight. He says, no one understood. Now he's

  762. completing the chapter eight vision. I've come to give you

  763. skill to understand. At the beginning of your supplication, the

  764. command went out, and I have come to tell you

  765. so Gabriel makes it from heaven to Earth, not going

  766. the speed of sound or the speed of light, but

  767. the speed of angels, which like the speed of thought,

  768. he has gone very quickly. At the beginning of your supplication,

  769. the command went out, and I have come to tell you,

  770. for you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter and understand.

  771. The vision is in understand what we started in chapter eight.

  772. Seventy weeks are determined for your people. Now, how many

  773. days in a week? Seven? Am I going too fast? Okay?

  774. Just to make sure, okay, seventy times seven is what

  775. four ninety four hundred and ninety days. But in prophecy,

  776. a day is what four hundred and ninety years. Seventy

  777. weeks are determined. That word determined means cut off. I'm

  778. giving your people seventy weeks to fulfill their purpose in

  779. introducing the Messiah, and for the Holy City Jerusalem to

  780. finish the transgression, to make the end of sins, to

  781. make reconciliation for iniquity. Several things are happening here to

  782. bring in everlasting righteousness. This is Christ to seal up

  783. the vision, to complete this vision of the seventy weeks,

  784. and to anoint the most Holy. That means to anoint

  785. the anointed, the Messiah. Know therefore an understand that from

  786. the going forth of the commandment to restore in Bill Jerusalem.

  787. Here's your starting point. From the going forth of the

  788. commandment to restore in Bill Jerusalem, unto the Messiah the Prince,

  789. there will be seven weeks and sixty two weeks. What

  790. is seven plus sixty two sixty nine. Well, in order

  791. to get to four hundred and ninety one week missing,

  792. we'll get to that the streets shall be built again

  793. in the wall, even in troublous times. It describes what

  794. happens in Ezra and Nehemiah when they go back to Israel.

  795. They rebuild the city and the walls and the streets.

  796. With great persecution and resistance from their enemies, and after

  797. the sixty two weeks, Messiah will be cut off, but

  798. not for himself. Who's the Messiah? Was he cut off

  799. for himself or for us? He was wounded for our iniquities.

  800. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and the

  801. people of the prince who will come. Speaking of the

  802. Roman power, it's a small pe shall destroy the city

  803. and the sanctuary, and the end will be with a flood,

  804. meaning an army coming in like a flood, till the

  805. end of the word, desolations are determined. Now going back

  806. to the Messiah, who's the topic, and he will confirm

  807. a covenant with many for one week. Some think that's

  808. talking about the Antichrist. That's not the subject of the vision,

  809. and is nowhere where the Antichrist makes a covenant with

  810. anybody in the Bible. The Messiah will confirm the covenant

  811. with many for one week. I'll get to that, but

  812. in the middle of the week. What is half of

  813. seven three and a half? How old was Jesus when

  814. he was baptized? Says as he began to be thirty

  815. years of age. That's how old you had to be

  816. to be a priest. It's interesting. Joseph went out over

  817. Egypt he was thirty. David began to reign he was thirty. Jesus,

  818. Joseph and David are types of him. Thirty years of age.

  819. How long did he minister? Three and a half years.

  820. In the midst of the week, he will cause the

  821. sacrifice and oblation decease. Jesus dies on the cross, and

  822. what happens in the temple when he dies? The veil

  823. is torn. Does Jesus fulfill the purpose of the sacrificial system?

  824. Do we still need to sacrifice lambs? Or is he no?

  825. In the midst of the week, he will cause a

  826. sacrifice to cease. And on the wing of abominations, let

  827. me see, I want to back up. Yeah, And on

  828. the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate

  829. even to the consummation, which is determined is poured on

  830. the desolate. Speaking here of the abomination of desolation, Jesus says,

  831. we need to understand that. According to Daniel the Prophet

  832. in Matthew twenty four, he tells us know what that says?

  833. All right? In the next chapter, the angel returns, I

  834. reviewed it. Now we're going to go over and review it. Again.

  835. In the next chapter, the Angel returns to complete the prophecy.

  836. How long was the additional period of time? He the

  837. Angel Gabriel informed me and talked to me, Daniel, I've

  838. come to give you skill and understanding. At the beginning

  839. of your prayers, the supplication went out and he was

  840. commanded to come. You're greatly beloved. Considered the vision. What's

  841. the time period there? It is? What is it? Seventy

  842. weeks are determined for your people who were Daniel's people,

  843. the Jewish nation, for the holy city, your holy city?

  844. What city did Daniel pray towards Jerusalem? To finish the transgression,

  845. to make an end of sin, to bring in reconciliation

  846. for iniquity, to bring an everlasting righteousness, to seal up

  847. the vision and the prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

  848. Notice all the things that are happening in this four

  849. hundred and ninety year time period. And it also goes

  850. on to say the street in the wall would be

  851. built again in troubleous times. Here's the starting point. No, therefore,

  852. an understand from the going forth of the command to

  853. restore and build Jerusalem unto the Messiah shall be seven weeks.

  854. That's the time when they built the wall in the

  855. streets in troubleous times. In sixty two weeks. It'll be

  856. built again in troubleous times, and after the sixty two weeks,

  857. so you've got seven weeks plus sixty two, that's sixty

  858. nine weeks. Messiah is cut off, Jesus is cut off

  859. after that time, but not for himself, cut off for us,

  860. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who

  861. makes desolate the Romans. These are actually pictures of the

  862. stones that still have not been moved in Jerusalem from

  863. the destruction of the temple in eighty seventy, and Jesus

  864. said there would not be left one stone upon another.

  865. They still have those great stones at the base of

  866. the whaling wall. Until the consummation is determined, which is

  867. poured on the desolate. He will confirm the covenant with

  868. many for one week, but in the middle of the

  869. week he'll bring an end to the sacrifice and the offering.

  870. All right, So you got seven days in a week,

  871. seven weeks, four hundred and ninety years, okay. The angel

  872. Gabriel explains that God would give his chosen nation an

  873. additional four hundred and ninety years they would go back

  874. from the Babylonian captivity to the promised land. They had

  875. four hundred ninety years then to complete their purpose. Seventy

  876. weeks are determined upon your city to complete this vision.

  877. I'm moving along as that have a lot to cover.

  878. What was the starting point that God gives for this

  879. twenty three hundred year prophecy? Oh wait, pasdev we were

  880. just talking about a four hundred and ninety year prophecy,

  881. But in chapter eight it's two three hundred days. There's

  882. only one starting point given for both prophecies. It is

  883. the same starting point. What is the only starting point

  884. that is given in Daniel eight and Daniel nine. No,

  885. therefore an understand from the going forth of the command

  886. to restore and build Jerusalem until the Messiah the Prince.

  887. You can find that command in Ezra chapter seven. It

  888. is in the Bible. It's also very well known in history.

  889. The Elephantine Papyrit gives strong support to our conclusion that

  890. the decree of our dessert Sees was issued. Is the

  891. decree given by the King of Persia Art Dexerxes to

  892. restoring bill Jerusalem. There were several decrees but the final

  893. complete decree is given by art Deserxes four fifty seven BC.

  894. This is from Zigfried h Horn in his book on

  895. the krol Anology of Ezra, Chapter seven. One day in

  896. prophecy is a year. I give you three scriptures here

  897. that show interpreting these prophecies. It is a day for

  898. a year two thousand, three hundred years from four to

  899. fifty seven takes us way back down in time to

  900. eighteen forty four. But if you go four hundred and

  901. ninety years from fifty seven, it goes to thirty four AD.

  902. But the first part of the prophecy says it's sixty

  903. nine weeks, and it's after the sixty nine weeks the

  904. Messias cut off. All right, look at what's happening here?

  905. Got the chart on the screen? All right? When is

  906. the starting point for the prophecy? What year four fifty

  907. seven BC. There'd be four hundred and eighty three years.

  908. If you go four hundred and eighty three years from

  909. four point fifty seven, it says that would be the

  910. beginning of the last week to anoint the most holy

  911. Guess when Jesus was baptized twenty seven eighty then it says,

  912. in the midst of this last week, he would cause

  913. the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. Three and a

  914. half years after Jesus is baptized, he dies on the cross.

  915. The veil in the temple is ripped. The High Priest

  916. rips his garments. When Jesus has tried, because now we

  917. have a new priesthood and we have a new temple.

  918. You and I are a nation of kings and priests, right,

  919. and you are a living temple. What don't you know

  920. that ye are the temple of God? Paul says, But wait,

  921. there's still three and a half years left, It says,

  922. he will confirm the covenant with many for one week

  923. to get to the end of the time for the

  924. Jewish nation. Jesus did not end it with his cross.

  925. He said, I'm going to give you more time because

  926. some of the Jewish people don't understand what's happening. At Pentecosts.

  927. Peter preaches. Is Peter preaching to gentiles or Jews? It

  928. says in chapter two of Acts, Now many devout Jews

  929. were gathered out of every nation under heaven. They had

  930. come to worship. The Holy Spirit is poured on the apostles,

  931. they preach, and three thousand Jews are baptized. You get

  932. to Acts chapter five, five thousand Jews are baptized. I'm sorry,

  933. that's Acts chapter four. So they're all Jews. Jesus told them,

  934. don't go everywhere preaching. Yet, he said, wait for the

  935. ondpoint of the Holy Spirit, and you are to go

  936. exclusively to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

  937. My people are scattered out. Though. Yes, there were some

  938. Jewish leaders that rejected Jesus, but there were a lot

  939. of faithful saints that just had not heard about Christ,

  940. and they were to preach to them. Notice number eight.

  941. The Angel said that when counting the sixty nine weeks

  942. from four to fifty seven BC, it would come to

  943. the Messiah, the Prince. What happened? Did this happen there?

  944. Look at what it says, Acts ten, verse thirty seven.

  945. That word, you know, after the baptism which John preached,

  946. how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit

  947. and with power? When was Jesus anointed with that dove

  948. at his baptism? When did he begin his ministry in

  949. his miracles? At his baptism? He began preaching and teaching

  950. at his baptism. That is the starting point. The best

  951. historian in the New Testament's probably Luke. He was very thorough.

  952. He gives four dates in history connected with the baptism

  953. of Jesus. We know exactly what that time period was.

  954. He tells who was ruling where. When we have that

  955. written down in Roman history, we know it was twenty

  956. seven a d. Twenty seven AD. Jesus turns thirty. I

  957. know you get confused because he say, why did Jesus

  958. be twenty seven and seven seven years after Christ? When

  959. they established the ADBC dating method. After it was accepted,

  960. they realized that they were off about three and a

  961. half years because King Herod the Great they killed all

  962. the babies in Bethlehem, and they figured Jesus was about

  963. two years old at that time. That's why he killed

  964. all the babies. Two years old and under he died

  965. to BC. So, and when you add up the other

  966. ages and dates that Luke gives us, we know they

  967. were all off when they set up the ADBC dating method.

  968. So four p. Fifty seven, four hundred and eighty three years.

  969. Jesus is baptized in twenty seven eighty they're rebuilding Jerusalem.

  970. There is no year zero when you're counting, so don't

  971. count that in. You can't say one year for the

  972. year zero, right on time, right on schedule. But we're

  973. not done yet. It says there's still three and a

  974. half years to go. What happened? Jesus came to Galilee

  975. preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, saying that tie is fulfilled.

  976. What did Jesus mean when he started preaching the time

  977. is fulfilled? As soon as he was baptized, he said,

  978. the time is fulfilled? What time? The time that was

  979. given to Daniel? He said, whoever reads Daniel, let him

  980. understand that he was anointed right on schedule. This prophetic

  981. time was fulfilled. He preaches for three and a half years.

  982. What was to take place next? In the prophecy? After

  983. the sixty two weeks, Messiah is cut off, but not

  984. for himself. He'll confirm the covenant with many for one week.

  985. How long is a week? So how long did Jesus

  986. confirm the covenant? He confirmed the covenant in person for

  987. three and a half years. Then he confirmed the covenant

  988. for three and a half years through the apostles, only

  989. going to gentiles. You realize it wasn't until after the

  990. stoning of Stephen. The Gospel then went to the gentiles.

  991. That's when Peter has his vision. God says, do not

  992. call the gentiles unclean. You must now go to them.

  993. Look at what it also says here, for indeed, Christ,

  994. our passover was sacrificed for us. So you go three

  995. and a half years later, and what happens Stephen a stone.

  996. Now some people, when they read the prophecy in Daniel

  997. chapter nine, they say, we're supposed to tear that last

  998. seven years off of the four hundred and eighty three years.

  999. We pull it down at the end of time and

1000. you get the seven years of tribulation. Is there any

1001. example or reason given in the Bible for tearing the

1002. last week of the prophecy apart from the whole and

1003. moving it. There's no other prophecy in the Bible that

1004. does that. It is all given as one contiguous, complete prophecy,

1005. and that's the only way it makes sense. Follow me.

1006. Jesus told his disciples to focus their preaching first on

1007. what group of people read it for yourself. Friends, do

1008. not go on Matthew ten, verse five and six. Do

1009. not go in the way of the Gentiles, but go

1010. rather to who the law sheep of the House of Israel.

1011. And when they first began preaching, they went to the synagogues.

1012. They talked to the Israelites. Now circle this scripture and

1013. don't miss it. Paul says in Hebrews chapter two, verse three,

1014. how shall we escape if we neglect so great a

1015. salvation which at the first began to be spoken by

1016. the Lord first three and a half years Jesus in person,

1017. and was confirmed by those who heard him. So did

1018. Jesus also confirm the Covenant through those who hurt him.

1019. You with me, he will confirm the Covenant with one week,

1020. three and a half years in person, and also through

1021. those that heard him. If you look then and acts.

1022. Chapter seven, one of the most magnificent sermons in the

1023. Bible is given by the martyr Stephen, the first Christian martyr.

1024. He takes the Supreme Court, he is being tried for

1025. his faith before the leaders of the Jewish nation. He

1026. takes them through the leading and the way that God

1027. led his people, and it's wonderful the power. And when

1028. he finally gets to the point where he's introducing Jesus.

1029. The Bible says they plugged their ears and they gnash

1030. on him with their teeth. Now that doesn't mean they

1031. went and bit him. You ever have somebody get angry

1032. and they grind their teeth. They went and that we

1033. don't want to hear it. You know why, because he's

1034. saying your messiah finally came and you just crucified him.

1035. And the guilt of that blood being on their hands.

1036. And what did they do. They did not even take

1037. Stephen to the Romans like they did Jesus. They took

1038. him out of the city. They stoned him to death.

1039. It was a kangaroo court. Now, was Jesus taken out

1040. before he was executed? They said? They laid down their

1041. clothes at the feet of Saul. Did they take jesus

1042. clothes away before he was executed? Then Stephen looks into

1043. the heavens. He says, behold, I see Jesus standing on

1044. the right hand of power. Did Jesus say, Father, into

1045. your hands, I commend my spirit. And then Jesus said, Father,

1046. forgive them. They know not what they do. What did

1047. Stephen say, three and a half years later, Father, lean

1048. out this into their charge Stephen repeats the same experience

1049. of Jesus condemned by the same people. Three and a

1050. half years later. At that point a great persecution arose

1051. in Jerusalem. And now the Gospel goes to the Gentiles.

1052. Do you see, friends, this is the end of the

1053. four hundred and ninety years. He realized Jesus when he

1054. began his ministry, he said, take these things, hence, speaking

1055. of the temple, My father's house is to be a

1056. house of prayer for all nations. You've made it a

1057. denta thieves. When he left and they rejected his teaching,

1058. he said, your house is left to you, desolate. Something happened,

1059. all right, Now we've gone the first four hundred and

1060. ninety years. The stoniness Stephen that at that point the

1061. Jewish nation had completed their work in introducing the Messiah

1062. to the world. Now, does God still have a special

1063. work for the Jewish nation? Yes, Paul said, Is God

1064. done with the Jews? God forbid? He still has a

1065. work for them to do. I hope I'm living in

1066. evidence to them. My mother's Jewish, and so God is

1067. still working through the Jewish people, And I think there's

1068. going to be a great revival among the Jewish people.

1069. But is God prejudice? Does God love some people because

1070. of their genetics more than ever? Or does the Bible say,

1071. does Peter say God is no respector of persons. I

1072. hear some evangelicals talking like God loves Jews more than

1073. other people. God loves everybody, friends, Amen. But he's made

1074. a covenant to the Jewish people and he's going to

1075. I think work in a special way. But he loves everybody.

1076. Number eleven. Who is God's chosen nation? Now according following acts.

1077. I'm sorry following eighty thirty four, the Kingdom of God.

1078. These are the words of Jesus, friends, so don't take

1079. it up with pastor Doug. The Kingdom of God will

1080. be taken from you and given to a nation, bringing

1081. forth the fruits of it. It's a spiritual nation. Romans

1082. Paul said, he is not a Jew who is won outwardly. Now,

1083. you can be a Jew outwardly and inwardly, but most importantly,

1084. you must be a Jew inwardly. Amen. The Bible says

1085. it is circumcision of the heart. John the Baptist said,

1086. do not say within yourselves we are children of Abraham,

1087. and so we're going to be saved. God is able

1088. to raise up from these stones children to Abraham. And

1089. so the most important thing is are you the seed

1090. of Abraham? Do you have the faith of Abraham? Jesus said,

1091. Abraham longed to see my day, and he saw it.

1092. Abraham was saved by faith looking forward to Christ? Are

1093. we saved by faith in Christ? According to Daniel? This

1094. is question twelve. Who spoke? According to the Angel who

1095. spoke with Daniel, what final event would begin the end

1096. of the two than three hundred years? He said, for

1097. two thousand, three hundred days. Then the sanctuary will be cleansed.

1098. Now once a year on the day of Atonement. How

1099. often they had a special service. We call it yng kipper.

1100. It's the day of atonement, the cleansing of the sanctuary.

1101. All the sins that were symbolically stored in the sanctuary

1102. were cleansed. They would fast and pray for ten days.

1103. It was a time of searching the heart. The priests

1104. would enter into the Holy of Holies and complete his

1105. cycle of intercession for the nation at the end of

1106. their religious calendar once a year. So when it says

1107. two thousand, three hundred days and the sanctuaries cleansed. We

1108. know a day is a year here because if you

1109. say two thousand, three hundred days of atonement, if two thousand,

1110. three hundred days of atonement, if it only comes once

1111. a year, that's two thousand, three hundred years. You're with me.

1112. So some people say, well, it's just talking about well

1113. the evening and morning sacrifice on the day of Atonement,

1114. Well that was once a year. No matter how you

1115. look at it, this is twenty three hundred years from

1116. four fifty seven BC. We're going down. That leads us

1117. to the year eighteen forty four. And you're thinking what happened?

1118. Then stay with me, friends, God began a special work

1119. in heaven and on earth said the sanctuary would be cleansed.

1120. Notice you go from four to fifty seven, you go

1121. twenty three hundred years. That's your bottom line. It comes

1122. to eighteen forty four. If you look at the seven

1123. churches in Revelation, those are seven ages and stages of

1124. the church. The last stage of the church, the last

1125. name of the church is called what laotica. Laotsa means

1126. a judging of the people. We entered the last age

1127. of the church. When does judgment begin for God's people

1128. before he comes or after. Judgment must begin at the

1129. house of God, and a judgment begin at us. What

1130. will be the end of them that know not the Gospel?

1131. And in Ezekiel nine begin with the ancient men before

1132. my sanctuary. And in Mark chapter eight, Jesus is judging

1133. those who are judging the woman. There is a judgment

1134. that begins to who much is given, much has required.

1135. God starts with those who know the truth? Who should

1136. know better? Isn't that fair? Why don't you want to

1137. start judging with those who've had the longest opportunity. So

1138. judgment begins with the church. And so there's a special

1139. judgment that has begun, a cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary. Christ,

1140. our high Priest, entered into the last phase of his

1141. heavenly ministry. But when I talk to people about that,

1142. their eyes kind of glaze over, and they go, Okay,

1143. I believe it if you say so. It's in the Bible,

1144. But I can't see what's going on up there right now.

1145. Does the Bible say that Jesus is our high Priest

1146. and Hebrews he ever lives to make intercession for his

1147. look here Hebrews, chapter four, verse fourteen. I'm sorry I

1148. ran through question thirteen. When Jesus ascended to heaven, where

1149. did he continue his ministry? Is this what Pastor Doug says?

1150. Or is this what the Bible says? Seeing then that

1151. we have a great high priest who has passed through

1152. the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold

1153. fast our confession. But Christ came now Hebrews nine to eleven.

1154. Christ came as a high priest of the good things

1155. to come, with a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not

1156. made with the hands, that is not of this creation,

1157. not man's hands, but the tabernacle of God in the

1158. presence of God is not an arc of the Covenant.

1159. It's the throne of God. He's holding out his nail

1160. scarred hands he ever lives to make intercession for us.

1161. And we have entered now the last phase of world history.

1162. When Jesus died on the cross, what was the purpose

1163. of the earthly temple flowing with blood? It was finished.

1164. But when he incended to heaven, he's presenting the real thing.

1165. At this point, he is the real lamb of God.

1166. Does God still have a temple on earth. What does

1167. the Bible say Phesians two nineteen, The household of God

1168. having been built on the foundation of the apostles and

1169. the prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone in

1170. whom the whole building, being fitly together, grows into a

1171. holy temple in the Lord, in whom you are also

1172. being built together for a dwelling place of God and

1173. the Spirit. Paul says, what don't you know that? Ye?

1174. Not only does he say your body is the temple

1175. of the Holy Spirit, he says, ye collectively are the

1176. temple of God. And He gives us all different gifts,

1177. and we are living priests. So did God do something

1178. on earth in eighteen forty four that we can point to? Yes,

1179. he did. Eighteen forty four Jesus, our High Priest, began

1180. cleansing the heavenly Sanctuary, and a phenomenal worldwide revival began

1181. and restoring the biblical truths that the Beast had obscured

1182. and distorted during the twelve hundred and sixty year reign.

1183. What did Daniel say was the problem? The truth was

1184. cast to the ground. Now, I don't know if you

1185. know about what they called the second Great spiritual Awakening

1186. that happened in America. But a lot of Christians thought

1187. Jesus was coming back because of Daniel chapter eight. They said, well,

1188. that's going to be eighteen forty four, and he didn't

1189. come back. They called it the Great Disappointment. The sum

1190. equate that with seventh the Administs. The Seventh the administ

1191. did not exist. Then it was called the Advent movement,

1192. because that's a general word for anyone who believes in

1193. the return of Christ. But out of that movement believers

1194. from the Baptist Church, Congregational, Methodist, Pentecostal, Catholic Orthodox. They said,

1195. let's put aside our differences and let's just use the

1196. word to find out what does the Bible really say.

1197. Rediscovered the truths that had been cast to the ground

1198. during the Dark Ages, and God began cleansing his sanctuary

1199. on earth while he is cleansing his sanctuary in heaven.

1200. I may not have photographs of what's happening up there,

1201. but I can tell you what's happening right down here.

1202. The fastest growing Protestant movement in the world today is

1203. the Seventh Day administ Church. It is growing by the

1204. thousands overseas, and God began a movement. Something else happened

1205. in eighteen forty four. Have you ever thought about how

1206. unique that year was? Karl Marx You ever heard that name?

1207. That was the year he wrote the Communist Manifesto that

1208. became the birth of communism. Then the first electronic message.

1209. How many of you use electronic messages today? Do you

1210. know what? The first electronic message was sent by Robert

1211. Morse who was actually a great artist, but he invented

1212. Morse code. You know what the first message was? He

1213. was quoting the Bible? What hath God? Wroughtt? Look what

1214. God has done? Charles Darwin completed his essay on natural selection,

1215. and you have the birth of evolution, The birth of evolution,

1216. the birth of communism. Eighteen forty four, Charles Goodyear receives

1217. his patent for vulcanization, a process that strength and rubber

1218. transformed the industrial world. You had the birth, you might say,

1219. of the Industrial revolution is happening in the Edict of

1220. Toleration allowing the Jews. Everyone thinks about nineteen forty eight

1221. when it was formed as a nation. Do you know

1222. before that they were not even allowed to go into

1223. the promised land till eighteen forty four. It was called

1224. the Edict of Toleration. One hundred years later, almost exactly

1225. one hundred years later, they were then established as a nation.

1226. The world's oldest handwritten bible, the Codex Siniaticus, is uncovered

1227. at Egypt Saint Catharine's monastery. A lot of things happened,

1228. went through a radical transformation, and it was also the

1229. birth of the movement that is bringing you this seminar

1230. that is going around the world. We are living where

1231. God is now cleansing the sanctuary from the false doctrines

1232. of the Dark Ages. We are returning to the faith

1233. that was once delivered to the saints. During the Dark Ages,

1234. they stopped baptizing by immersion, they started charging forgiveness of sins.

1235. All these strange doctrines came to the church. God is

1236. bringing his people back to the Word of God. Amen,

1237. Jesus is coming for a church that has returned to

1238. the doctrines that were once delivered to the saints Jude

1239. verse three. For instance, a church that keeps the seventh

1240. day Sabbath. I mean, friends, I can understand now there

1241. are some things that may not be as important as others.

1242. We may disagree on who are the one hundred and

1243. forty four thousand, and what are the seven trumpets? But

1244. if there's something that a church ought to stand up for,

1245. I would think it would be one of the ten commands.

1246. I mean, if one of the ten commandments is not important,

1247. then what in the Bible is important? I mean the

1248. word spoken by God, written by his finger, given to

1249. his people. And it's not just one of the commandments.

1250. There's some churches that are forgetting Commandment number two. Some

1251. churches a forgetting Commandment number seven. Is marriage under attack

1252. in our world today. Even in some churches they're saying

1253. it doesn't matter whether you marry a man or a woman. Now,

1254. if you're a man, you marry a woman. Jesus made

1255. them male and female. What about the command that says

1256. thou shalt not kill. I believe the Bible says that

1257. life begins at conception. I told you, I'll make everyone

1258. mad tonight. There are churches that are standing by things

1259. that are just totally unbiblical. We need to stand it

1260. for the truth. Jesus is coming back for a church

1261. that has taken a stand for the truth. Number fifteen.

1262. What unique aspect of his redemptive ministry. Did Jesus commence

1263. for his church in eighteen forty four? The Bible says,

1264. the time has come for judgment to begin where at

1265. the house of God? And if it begins at us,

1266. what will be the end of them that know not

1267. the Gospel? I think I already quoted that to you.

1268. There is a judgment. Now do you realize that God

1269. has got books. Every work will be brought into judgment,

1270. with every secret thing. This is the conclusion of Solomon's

1271. book Ecclesiastes. So let us hear the conclusion of the

1272. whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this

1273. is the whole duty of man. Did he say that

1274. we get a ten percent discount Fear God and keep

1275. his commandments? What does it say speaking of a message

1276. that goes to the world before Jesus comes back, It

1277. tells us that fear God and keep his commandments. Behold,

1278. I am coming. My reward is with me to give

1279. to every man according to his work, as his work

1280. shall be. Now I'm going to quickly review for you.

1281. You've got this picture of the sanctuary. We talked about

1282. this a little bit last night. You've got the courtyard.

1283. This is where sanctification takes on, sorry, justification takes place.

1284. You've got the Holy Place. This is sanctification. Where you've

1285. got the candlestick, and you've got the bread, and you

1286. got the altar. These are the three Christian disciplines. If

1287. you read your Bible every day, that altar of incense

1288. is prayer. The bread is the word of God. The

1289. lamp is letting your light shine, exercising your faith, being

1290. a witness. You do those things, you will grow and

1291. will ultimately go into the presence of God. And what

1292. was in the Ark of the Covenant, the Ten Commandments.

1293. And I think I told you before you got the

1294. Holy Land, you got the Holy City, Jerusalem, got the

1295. Holy Mount, got the Holy Temple, got the Holy Place,

1296. you got the Holy Holy And in the Holy of

1297. Holies you've got the Holy Law. And in the Holy

1298. Law you've got the word holy one time. And it's

1299. in the Fourth Commandment and the message that is supposed

1300. to go to the world before Jesus comes back, says

1301. worship him that made the heaven and the earth, and

1302. the seas and the fountains of waters. That's an excerpt

1303. from the fourth Commandment, for in six days, God made

1304. the heaven and the earth and the sea. God is

1305. calling his people back in the last days to worship

1306. a creator. In eighteen forty four, they started saying we evolved,

1307. started teaching communism. Do you know the Bible is where

1308. you get the idea that you have property. In the

1309. Ten Commandments, it says you're not to steal. The government

1310. does not own the property in the Bible. In the

1311. Ten Commandments, it says you've got your husband and you've

1312. got your wife. If you go to communist countries, it's

1313. like everything's owned by the government. Those things all began

1314. in eighteen forty four. It was a deliberate attack on

1315. the final movement of God. Eighteen forty four, Jesus, our

1316. High Priest, began his final ministry in the heavenly Sanctuary.

1317. And the judgment that takes place before he comes again

1318. is happening. Friends. The Bible says that when Christ returns,

1319. he's bringing rewards, so some of the judgment must happen

1320. prior to his coming. Does that make sense? Behold, I come,

1321. My reward is with me to give to every man

1322. according to his works. Some judgment happens before he comes back.

1323. We are living in that time. At some point Revelation

1324. chapter twenty two, Jesus stands up. You can read in

1325. Daniel chapter twelve. At that time Michael will stand up,

1326. and there will be a time of trouble such as

1327. there never has been since there was a nation even

1328. under that same time. And Revelation chapter twenty two, Jesus

1329. stands up. Judgment is over, Intercession is over. He says,

1330. he that is pure, let him be pure still, He

1331. that is filthy, let him be filthy still. That means

1332. a day is coming when probation is going to close.

1333. We don't know exactly when that's going to be. By

1334. the way, when you die, your probation's closed. So probation

1335. can close for anyone at any time. And there are

1336. people in the Bible, like Judas and Saul and Balem,

1337. their probation closed while they were still alive, Like the

1338. people in Noah's day. The door was shut and life

1339. went on for seven more days, and they didn't realize

1340. their destiny was seal. That's why, friends, I see these

1341. things because don't play Russian roulette with your eternity. Don't

1342. keep saying well, I know I've got tomorrow. I've got tomorrow. Friends,

1343. if you hear God's voice speaking you today, he wants

1344. to cleanse the sanctuary. Jesus wants to drive all of

1345. the world out of that temple. Your body is the

1346. temple of God. He wants to purify you and live

1347. in your heart as Lord and King. Amen. The standard

1348. in both phases of the judgment is the Ten Commandments.

1349. You can read this in Revelation twenty two says every

1350. man is judge according to his works. You can read

1351. it in the Book of James. You can read it

1352. in Ecclesiastes. The children of Israel before they enter the

1353. Promised Land, they all march by the ark of the Covenant,

1354. and we will all be judged by that. Unless our

1355. sins are under the blood of the Lamb, we are

1356. in big trouble. Friends. The evidence is in both phases

1357. come from the heavenly books contained all the details of

1358. our person's life. Fear God Revelation chapter fourteen. Fear God

1359. and give glory to him, for the hour of his

1360. judgment will come, has come, is come. We're living the

1361. words Laodicea means a judging of the people we are

1362. living in that time. Friends. Now I know what's going

1363. on on earth, and I know and believe what's going

1364. on in heaven. And we are in the last chapters

1365. of the last prophecies in the Bible, friends, and we

1366. need to get ready, Get ready, get ready, Amen. The

1367. final events will be rapid ones. How many of you

1368. want to say, Lord, you can be Lord of my life,

1369. cleanse my sanctuary, and I want to be part of

1370. your people, Father in heaven. I pray that you'll bless

1371. each one here listening, that these things will make sense

1372. and the power of the spirit will bring it home,

1373. and we'll choose to give you our hearts and our lives.

1374. We ask in the name of your Son through his blood. Amen.

1375. God bless you. Friends. When's our next study Friday night.

1376. I'd love to see you tomorrow, but I won't be here,

1377. so we hope you'll come again. And we're going to

1378. be talking about a Babylon and the Lamb like beast,

1379. talking a little about Protestantism. Don't miss it. Thank you

1380. very much and God bless you.
