  35. things while we have a theme song that we have

  36. been singing through this whole series. You know the words

  37. in might you just stand as we sing together? Beautiful beautiful.

  51. minds to the things of Scripture. Lord, it has been

  52. a busy week for many. For some, it has been

  53. a trying week, a challenging week. But Lord, we come

  54. to you on this your Sabbath day, and rest and

  55. pause from all of that.

  56. We ask that you would send the Holy.

  57. Spirit, that we may be encouraged by the message that

  58. we hear, that we may I understand the words of Scripture. Lord,

  59. I ask for a special blessing upon Pastor Bachelor, that

  90. We're going to be answering some Bible questions that have

  91. come in and if you have not submitted your Bible question,

  92. it's easy to do. So all you have to do

  93. is scan the QR code. If you're watching at home,

  94. you'll see a QR code.

  95. On the screen.

  96. Just scan that with your phone. They'll take you to

  97. the app where you can type in your Bible question.

  98. Even those who are here you can point your camera

  99. there your phone and scan that QR code. We want

  100. to thank you for all of the great questions that

  101. have been submitted. Now, if we don't mention your questions specifically,

  102. don't get discouraged. We usually group different topics together so

  103. we can try and cover as many questions as possible. Well,

  104. passa doug. Last night you did a presentation on the Sabbath,

  105. the seventh day of the week, and as you can imagine,

  106. we had a number of questions that came in. So

  107. we're going to start by addressing some of those chasis.

  108. First fish number one, is it okay to eat out

  109. at a restaurant on the Sabbath day?

  110. Well, you know there might be occasions when you're traveling

  111. overseas or you're on a boat or something, and you

  112. know the only option is to eat out. I think

  113. that Christian's on a plan so that you're not hiring

  114. somebody else in paying them to cook your food. So

  115. as far as possible, the Bible tells us that we

  116. should bake what we're going to bake and boil what

  117. we're going to boil. The reason God gave food to

  118. the children of Israel twice as much on Friday is

  119. so they wouldn't have to go through the extra preparation

  120. then and it would all be ready on Sabbath. And

  121. so you know, if you don't think that you should

  122. be doing extra work on Sabbath, then why would you

  123. go to a restaurant and pay someone to work for you?

  124. And so I would say no if that can be avoided.

  125. Like I said, there's extreme conditions. Our family has been

  126. traveling overseas where a flight was delayed on Friday and

  127. you ended up in a strange city and we had

  128. no food. And you know, God's reasonable. There's emergencies, but

  129. we should be planning ahead so that we don't have those.

  130. All right, Another question that we have, what does poll

  131. the apostle refer to in Roman chapter fourteen, verse five.

  132. Okay, this is a couple of verses you almost always

  133. get when you teach the Sabbath truth is one is

  134. Romans fourteen five, the other's Colossians two thirteen. No one's

  135. asked that yet, but someone will. Now Roman's fourteen. He's

  136. talking about For when Christians who are pagans who had

  137. converted to Christianity, if they were buying food in the

  138. marketplace that had been offered to some pagan god, they said,

  139. are we worshiping idols by eating that food? And Paul

  140. said no, If it bothers your faith, well then don't

  141. eat it and just eat vegetables. And then he says,

  142. one man regards one day above another. This is verse five.

  143. One person esteems one day above another, another person esteems

  144. every day alike. Let each one be fully persuaded in

  145. his own mind, is Paul saying.

  146. Here.

  147. Some people keep the Sabbath because they're convicted about it.

  148. Some people don't. Let each one be persuaded in his

  149. own mind. Can you ever hear a pastor on Sunday

  150. telling his congregation that verse some of you think you

  151. should come to church on Sunday. Some think you shouldn't

  152. do whatever you however, you're persuaded. They never use that

  153. verse that way on Sunday morning. I can promise you

  154. that this verse had nothing to do with the Sabbath.

  155. It had to do with keeping the annual Jewish feasts

  156. that fell once a year. Because the converts to Christianity

  157. that were Pagans were being told by the Jewish Christians.

  158. You need to also circumcise. You can't eat anything offered

  159. to idols, and you need to be keeping the annual feasts.

  160. And you notice the word sabbath is not mentioned anywhere

  161. in Romans fourteen. It's talking about the annual Sabbath days.

  162. That's also being refer to in Colossians chapter two. They

  163. all came after sin, the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments.

  164. When did it come before sin? It's part of God's

  165. perfect plan. It's written in the Ten Commandments. The other

  166. sabbath aides were written on paper, they were nailed to

  167. the cross. This is what passed away the veil, and

  168. the curtain was torn from top to bottom when Jesus died,

  169. indicating we don't need to keep the ceremonial laws any longer.

  170. This is what Paul is talking about, not one of

  171. the ten Commandments.

  172. All right, here's another question about a Bible verse. Second Corinthians,

  173. chapter three, verse seven, I say through to about verse eleven.

  174. Does this verse do away with the Ten Commandments? Second

  175. Corinthians three.

  176. All right, let's read this for you. But the ministry

  177. of death written and engraved on stones was glorious. So

  178. the children of Israel could not look steadfastly at the

  179. face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance,

  180. which glory was passing away, it eventually faded. How much

  181. more will the ministry of the spirit not be more glorious,

  182. For it is the ministry of For if the ministry

  183. of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds it

  184. much more in glory. For even that which what was

  185. made glorious had no glory in this respect because of

  186. the glory that excels it. For if what is passing

  187. away is glorious, what remains is much more glorious. All right,

  188. So they're saying something passed away, and it talks about

  189. the law written in stone passed away, and then he

  190. talks about the law written in the spirit being even

  191. more glorious. The ten Commandments are the letter of the law.

  192. It is the foundation of the law. Jesus came to

  193. teach us the spirit of the law, which shows it's

  194. more than just an action, it's an attitude. When you

  195. embrace the spirit of the law, of course you keep

  196. the letter, you go beyond it. Let me show you

  197. in a practical way. Jesus said, you have heard it

  198. said by then of old you shall not commit adultery.

  199. Where do you find that ten commandments? But I say

  200. unto you that if a man looks on a woman

  201. and lusts after her in his heart, he's committing adultery

  202. in his heart. That would be the spirit of the law.

  203. One of them is an attitude, right, it's something going

  204. on in the mind. The heart, not the life says,

  205. you can break the law in your heart. So now

  206. I'm going to keep the spirit of the law. I

  207. will not think about lust, but I can break the

  208. letter and commit adultery. Is that what he's saying. How

  209. is it possible for you to keep the law in

  210. the spirit and break the letter?

  211. Right?

  212. The letter of the law says thou shalt not murder,

  213. Jesus said, But if you're angry with your brother without

  214. a cause, you're guilty of murder. He's talking about the

  215. spirit of the law. Well, if you're keeping the spirit

  216. of the law, are you literally going to commit murder?

  217. The letter of the law said, remember the Sabbath day

  218. you shall rest. The spirit of the loss has come

  219. unto me and I will give you rest. And there's

  220. a rest that remains for the people of God he Brews.

  221. For if you're keeping the spirit of the law, will

  222. you ignore the letter? So what Paul is saying is

  223. the glorious truth of Christ, not Moses, and the law

  224. written in our hearts is even so much more glorious

  225. that it doesn't fade away. The letter of the law

  226. is still intact. Now if someone says that First Corinthians

  227. or Second Corinthians, chapter seven is suggesting that now we

  228. don't need to keep the letter of the law. Are

  229. they saying that it's okay to kill and to steal,

  230. and to rob, and to lie and commit adultery and

  231. covet worship other gods, pray to idols. They never argue that.

  232. The only time they use that verse that way is

  233. with the Sabbath truth that aughtust seems suspicious, right, see

  234. what I'm saying. So he's talking about how much more

  235. glorious the spirit of the law is. If you're keeping

  236. the law in your heart, of course you're going to

  237. keep the letter of the law, all right.

  238. Another question on the Sabbath, thak it's the last Sabbath question?

  239. Am I breaking the Sabbath commandment. By working every other Saturday, well.

  240. Only every other Sabbath, you could be breaking it. Now,

  241. there are some people, and I'm not sure who's asking

  242. the question, there are some people who are doing certain

  243. emergency work. You know, Seventh day Adventist Church has hospitals

  244. and nursing homes and places that you do, you know,

  245. ministry and care. And of course those people need service.

  246. You don't just leave them and abandon them. And so

  247. there are certain necessary functions that are emergency service, works

  248. of kindness that continue even on the Sabbath day. And

  249. so if you're involved in the medical field or something

  250. like that, then if you alternate every other Sabbath so

  251. you don't have to keep missing church, well that makes sense.

  252. I've got several members of our church that are doctors

  253. and dentists, and sometimes our dentists will get a call

  254. and they'll say, I am in so much pain from

  255. this toothache. He says, I'll meet you at the office,

  256. and he goes there and he relieves her suffering. And

  257. usually he doesn't charge him anything because it's just a

  258. ministry of service. But did Jesus heal on the Sabbath day? Yeah,

  259. you know, there are certain emergency things like that. God

  260. is reasonable. But you know, if you're doing any kind

  261. of regular work, you never saw Jesus in the carpenter

  262. shop on the Sabbath day. That needs to be put aside,

  263. and you need to talk to your employer. If you're

  264. a good employee, they will keep you. Because if I

  265. was an employer and I had an employee that said,

  266. you know, I'm convicted about one of the ten Commandments,

  267. and i want to keep the Sabbath day, and I'll

  268. even work Sunday, I'll work extra hours, but I want

  269. to keep God's holy time, I would want to keep

  270. an employee like that because I thought they've got integrity,

  271. they've got convictions, they're not going to steal from me.

  272. And so ninety nine percent of the time the employers

  273. will say, I will make an accommodation. By the way,

  274. they're even laws in North America about accommodating people's religious

  275. beliefs in your scheduling.

  276. All right, Another question that we have, why did God

  277. give the Ten Commandments on two tables of stone instead

  278. of just writing it on one big table. Yeah.

  279. Furthermore, if you read it says they were written on

  280. the front in the back. Most people forget that part.

  281. That's because you've got the first half of the first

  282. Table of Stone is dealing with our responsibility to God.

  283. When you it says, don't worship other gods, do not

  284. make graven images, do not take his name in vain,

  285. remember the Sabbath day. The last six commandments are more

  286. civil in nature. They deal with our relationship with our

  287. fellow man. The first four are your vertical commandments. The

  288. last six are the horizontal, loving the Lord, loving your neighbor.

  289. They're separated on two tables of Stone. And Roger Williams

  290. when he helped found Providence Rhode Island, they were forcing

  291. people back then to keep the first four commandments in

  292. Salem and some of the early settlements, and it was

  293. a disaster. People were put in the stocks if they

  294. didn't go to church. Roger Williams said, you cannot force

  295. a person to love God. The first four commandments needs

  296. to be an individual choice. You need to have freedom

  297. of conscience. The last six commandments the government must enforce.

  298. You can't steal, you can't kill, marriage should be honored, etc.

  299. And so governments need to keep that separation. That's where

  300. the separation of church and state is. But there's nothing

  301. wrong with recognizing that you're living in a country that

  302. has a Judeo Christian foundation.

  303. All right, passed that practical question. Here in heaven, will

  304. the children grow slower than on earth?

  305. Well?

  306. I believe so. There's a strange passage in the Bible

  307. where it says a child will die one hundred years

  308. And people say children in a die at one hundred years.

  309. Actually it's saying a child will not even cease to

  310. be a child until they're one hundred. Have you ever

  311. noticed in reading Genesis it'll say, and you know, Matthusla

  312. got married at three hundred years old and had a son,

  313. and you know what took him so long? Well, well,

  314. people got married later back then because they live longer. Originally,

  315. God's plan was for us to live forever. And once

  316. we get our glorified bodies, and you've got eternity stretch

  317. before you, we will still grow up children. There are

  318. children in the Resurrection talks about that several places in

  319. the Bible, but it says that they're going to grow

  320. more slowly, and it says they shall go forth and

  321. grow up as calves of the stall that's in Malachi.

  322. So yes, they will grow, but they're going to grow

  323. more slowly. There will be no new marriage is in heaven.

  324. But does God give us divorce papers when we get

  325. to the kingdom. Someone write that down and ask that question.

  326. All right, another question that we have. Can I believe

  327. who is struggling to quit smoking still be baptized?

  328. Well you shouldn't be.

  329. There are certain sins where you are chained to habits

  330. of the devil. Those things should be forsaken. John the

  331. Baptist said that we should bring forth fruits of righteousness.

  332. When you baptize a person that is still smoking and drinking,

  333. and then they go to the bar that night to

  334. celebrate their baptism, and someone says, what are you celebrating?

  335. I just joined the church. Did something wrong with that?

  336. You want to have those addictions behind you now. I'll

  337. tell you that before I got baptized, I argued with

  338. the pastor because I was smoking, and I was going

  339. to church every week, and I was reading my Bible

  340. and I was sharing my faith and I was smoking,

  341. and I was sharing my faith with people that smoked.

  342. And the pastor said, brother Doug, what does it look

  343. like you're a Christian, you're born again, you're baptized. It's

  344. a new birth, and here you are. What do you

  345. think of a baby that's smoking. There's something wrong with

  346. that picture, right, he said, Jesus set me free, Praise

  347. the Lord. I've been baptized, and you're still smoking. You're

  348. still drinking. He said, you need to quit that first.

  349. And while he was telling me this, I was arguing

  350. with the pastor. I'm sitting in my pickup truck. He

  351. met him at the post office. He's talking to me.

  352. He's standing outside the windows down. My three year old

  353. daughter is in the seat next to me. My cigarettes

  354. are on the dashboard Marlborough and he's telling me. He said,

  355. you want to be an example for your family. And

  356. while he said that, my three year old grabbed my

  357. pack of cigarettes started shaking them and they began to

  358. fly out of the pack. He said, see that, she's

  359. going to do what you do. And I became terribly convicted.

  360. There's another story. I'll tell you something else that happened

  361. that God helped me quit. But once I quit, I

  362. stopped smoking. Since I was baptized, I never smoked again

  363. forty years. God can give you the victory. It's easier

  364. before than after.

  365. Himen.

  366. All right, maybe time for one quick question. Will there

  367. be night in heaven?

  368. Yes, there is no night in the city. The Bible

  369. says there is no need of the sun, doesn't say

  370. there is no sun. Says there's no need of the

  371. sun because the glory of God is going to shine,

  372. and God is light in him is no darkness at all.

  373. And so but will there still be a separation of days, Well,

  374. it says from one sabbath to another, we'll come to

  375. worship him. That was part of God's original plan. So yes,

  376. there will still be a separation of days. But there

  377. is no night in the city where God lives.

  378. All right, again, we want to thank you for your

  379. great questions. We want to remind you if you haven't

  380. yet given us a question, just scan the QR code.

  381. You'll see it there on your screen and you can

  382. type in your Bible question. We're going to try and

  383. answer as many of those questions as we can.

  384. Pass it up.

  385. We've been placed with the music and we'll have another

  386. beautiful musical item touch your people once again.

  387. We need wisdom, we need power and true love for

  388. each other. We have had so many baid but empty worlds.

  389. So we come before your face asking for your grace.

  390. Bring your people to a.

  391. State of kingdom life. Rest are your church again, Touch

  392. your peoples again with your precious holdly and.

  393. We pray, unless your kingdom shine upon Mizar.

  394. Through living gloiosture, not for temper.

  395. Reity, but to restore forty.

  396. And power, that amighty rushing wind blow.

  397. Touch your people again.

  398. Lord, do you see are tired servants and the broken

  399. wounded soldiers.

  400. Oh how much we need your precious.

  401. We need the power of the Cross as the only

  402. source for us when we stand up facing the final battle. Pride,

  403. restore your church again, Touch your people.

  404. Again with your precious holdly hand.

  405. We pray, let your kingdom shine upon is.

  406. Through living bloodious chure. Bird, not for temporary but to

  407. restore thy.

  408. Power.

  409. Let a mighty shing blad touch your people again.

  410. Em Thank you Ryan, thank you Jackie. Tonight, we have

  411. a very important study. It's less than number eight. If

  412. you have your study guides, you can follow along. It's

  413. called the Woman in the Wilderness, and we're going to

  414. be looking at a prophecy found in the very heart

  415. of the Book of Revelation. Revelation Chapter twelve, we're going

  416. to learn about a woman and a dragon. We're also

  417. going to look at characteristics of God's people in the

  418. last Days, so I hope you are ready for the

  419. study once again. If you don't have a lesson, you

  421. actually a place where you can fill in the various answers,

  422. so I hope you have it handy and we're gonna

  423. be studying this important topic, the woman in the Wilderness.

  424. Amen, Tick tick, Welcome friends once again to the Prophecy

  431. our friends that are here locally, and want to welcome

  433. News Network, Facebook and the other venues. And it's not

  434. too late to text your friends and say Prophecy Countdown

  435. is on and it's live watch now because today's lesson

  436. is a very important lesson. We're going to be going

  437. to the middle of Revelation and talking about the woman

  438. in the wilderness, and this is a very important subject

  439. that we you know, Revelation is written in what they

  440. call a chiastic structure, where it sort of makes a

  441. statement at the beginning, it reaches the pinnacle in the middle,

  442. and it reinforces the statement at the end. And we're

  443. going to be looking at the pinnacle of the prophecy

  444. you find in Revelation chapter twelve. But as our custom is,

  445. we like to start with an amazing fact, you know.

  446. In nineteen seventy seven, National Geographic did a special report

  447. on a woman named Robin Davidson. She embarked on an

  448. extraordinary journey across the Australian Outback. With only four camels

  449. and her faithful dog for company. She traveled one thousand,

  450. seven hundred miles of harsh desert terrain alone a woman

  451. in the wilderness. In preparation, she trained camels and learned

  452. how to survive in the desert for two years. On

  453. the journey that lasted nine months, it pushed her to

  454. her limits. She faced scorching he poisonous snakes and the

  455. challenges of managing her temperamental camels. You know, they got

  456. wild camels in Australia in the desert there as well.

  457. Davidson's solo trek from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean

  458. became an inspiring tale of human endurance and self discovery.

  459. And there's a book written about this called Tracks that's

  460. rather inspiring about her adventure. I think they even made

  461. a movie about her adventure of surviving in the wilderness.

  462. And one time they got she and her camels got

  463. attacked by a bull camel that was in heat and

  464. they said the only alternative is you need to kill

  465. it because it will kill you. And had some amazing adventures.

  466. You know, a woman in the Bible is a symbol

  467. of what the church. God had his woman in the

  468. wilderness for forty years in preparation to going to the

  469. Promised Land. And there's other stories about God's woman in

  470. the wilderness. So we're going to get to our lesson

  471. question number one. How does God? How does Revelation, I'm sorry,

  472. picture God's true church? How does Revelation picture God's true Church?

  473. You can read the answer Revelation twelve, verses one and two.

  474. A woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under

  475. her feet, and on her head a garland, or it's

  476. called a stefanos. It means a crown of twelve stars. Then,

  477. being with child, she cried out in labor and pain

  478. to give birth. Bible says, I've likened the daughter of

  479. Zion to a lovely and a delicate woman. God's church

  480. is symbolized by a pure woman. Husbands, love your wives

  481. as Christ loves the church. In the Book of Hoseiah,

  482. he talks about his love for his people, his bride,

  483. and when she's unfaithful, he accuses her of adultery. Now,

  484. if you have your Bibles, and I hope you do

  485. either in paper digital form, go to Revelation twelve. We're

  486. gonna look at this together, and I want you to

  487. read the first few verses with me. Revelation twelve, verse one. Now,

  488. a great sign appeared in heaven a woman. This is

  489. in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, the moon

  490. under her feet, and on her head a garland of

  491. twelve stars. Then, being with child, she cried out in

  492. labor in pain to give birth. This woman is getting

  493. ready to bring forth a child, and another sign appears

  494. in heaven behold a great, fiery red dragon, having seven

  495. heads and ten horns. This dragon with seven heads and

  496. ten horns appears several times in Daniel and Revelation. And

  497. seven diadems are crowns on his heads, and his tail

  498. drew a third of the stars of heaven. These are

  499. the angels, and threw them to the earth. And the

  500. dragon stood before the woman, who was ready to give birth,

  501. to devour her child as soon as it was born.

  502. And she bore a male child who was to rule

  503. all nations with a rod of iron. Who is that child?

  504. Jesus and her child it's capital C if you're looking

  505. in many Bibles. Her child was caught up to God

  506. in his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness,

  507. where she had a place prepared by God, that they

  508. should feed her there. And now notice the number one thousand,

  509. two hundred and sixty days. All right, we're going to

  510. explore this passage very carefully because this woman is a

  511. picture of God's Church. And then if you get to

  512. the very end of the chapter, go to Revelation, chapter

  513. twelve and verse seventeen, and the dragon was enraged with

  514. the woman, and he went to make war with the

  515. rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God

  516. and have the testimony of Jesus. So in this chapter

  517. we see a battle, and it's dealing with a woman,

  518. a dragon, a child, and the seed of the woman.

  519. First prophecy in the Bible is in Genesis chapter three,

  520. and it talks about that the seed of the woman

  521. would crush the head of the serpent, and the serpent

  522. would bruise the heel. A battle involving a woman, the

  523. seed of the woman, and a dragon or a serpent,

  524. and so this is talking about just the apex or

  525. the pinnacle of this battle. Now with that, let's get

  526. back into our lesson and we'll go through some of

  527. what we just read. I'll stop and expand on it

  528. as we go. What does it mean? It says she's

  529. clothed with the sun, the moon, and the stars. The

  530. sun represents the light of God. God made the sun

  531. Psalm eighty four, Malachi four to two. It says the

  532. Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in his wings.

  533. The moon represents it's the promises in the history of

  534. the Old Testament. So God's Church has clothed with the

  535. light of God's glory.

  536. The sun.

  537. She's standing on the moon. The foundation for the early

  538. Church is the moon and the promises and the prophecies

  539. of the Old Testament. The stars of above her head

  540. represent the leadership. Above the head means authority. The Old Testament,

  541. you've got the twelve tribes. You've got the twelve judges,

  542. the patriarchs. The princes of Moses were twelve. In the

  543. New Testament, you have the twelve apostles. The number twelve

  544. matters to God. If you read Acts chapter one, just

  545. before the Holy Spirit is poured out, you know what happens.

  546. Peter said, Jesus chose twelve apostles. They weren't even all

  547. from the same from different tribes. There were many of

  548. them from the same tribe, but they had to be twelve.

  549. Judas killed himself. Peter said, we need to replace Judas.

  550. Get back the number twelve. And they cast lots, and

  551. they picked Matthias. After it says that the twelve apostles,

  552. then the place is shaken and the Holy Spirit is

  553. poured out. The number twelve is a symbol for the leadership.

  554. This is a picture of God's church. She bore a

  555. male child who's to rule all nations with a rod

  556. of iron. Iron was the strongest material. It would break

  557. and shatter everything else. And her child is caught up

  558. to God in his throne. Jesus ministered for thirty three

  559. and a half years. He was crucified after being tortured, dyed, buried, rose,

  560. and then he ascended to heaven, where he is now

  561. at the right hand of God. Can you say, a

  562. man that's a child now, contrast that woman we just

  563. looked at in Revelation twelve. Take your bible, go to

  564. Revelation seventeen. You're going to see that there is a

  565. dramatic shift here. Revelation chapter seventeen talks about another woman.

  566. These two women are like polar opposites. And one of

  567. the seven angels who had the seven bulls, these are

  568. the bowls vials of wrath. Come to talk with me,

  569. and he said to me, come, I will show you

  570. the judgment of the great Harlot, who sits on many waters.

  571. This is on earth now, with whom the kings of

  572. the earth have committed fornication. That's not good. Kings of

  573. the governments, politicians and the inhabitants of the earth were

  574. made drunk with the wine of her fornication. This wine

  575. is not the unfermented grape juice of the communion. It's fermented.

  576. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness.

  577. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast,

  578. which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads

  579. and ten horns. There's that beast again, except before the

  580. beast is trying to eat the manchild of the woman

  581. clothed with light. Now this woman is riding on the beast,

  582. who's in control. They're working in partnership. If you're writing

  583. a beast, you're usually going the same direction. Is the

  584. beast right? And this woman, she's clothed, but not the

  585. glory of God. It's a glory of the world, with

  586. purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones

  587. and pearls, having in her hand a golden cupful of

  588. abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her

  589. forehead has written the name Mystery babbled and the Great,

  590. the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. And

  591. I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the

  592. saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.

  593. And when I saw her, I'm marveled with a great amazement.

  594. And so here you have these two women. One represents

  595. the true Church, the other represents a church that has

  596. become apostate, unfaithful, a harlot. One's got the light in

  597. the glory of God, the sun, the moon, the stars.

  598. God made all of that. The other is purple and

  599. gold and pearls and earthly adornment. And she's working in

  600. cooperation with the beast and commits fornication with the governments.

  601. It's a church that is in cohoots with the governments

  602. of the world. Okay, two different women in the Bible,

  603. and they're both in history today as you sit here.

  604. So who is the great red dragon? Let's identify him?

  605. And what does he do? It's hard to misunderstand who

  606. the dragon is. Revelation twelve, verse nine brings it all

  607. together for us. The dragon was cast out that serpent

  608. of old called who it's on your screen. He's called

  609. the devil and Satan, dragon, serpent, devil, Satan, who deceives

  610. the whole world. Christ says he is the Prince of

  611. the world, much of the world, most of the world

  612. deceived by the devil. He was cast to the earth.

  613. He's claimed this is his dominion, and his angels were

  614. cast out with him. The devil and his demons have

  615. been cast down here, and they're wreaking havoc on the planet.

  616. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready

  617. to give birth, to devour her child as soon as

  618. it was born. The devil did not want Jesus to

  619. complete his ministry of redemption and salvation to our world.

  620. Number three. What happens after Satan fails to destroy Jesus.

  621. He could not get Jesus to sin it says her

  622. child is what he's caught up. That's called the ascension.

  623. He's caught up to God and is throne. Now the

  624. devil cannot reach Jesus anymore. This is you can read

  625. in Acts chapter one as the men the apostles stood

  626. there gazing. Christ ascended. He was caught up into the clouds,

  627. and now he is seated. He is enthroned before the

  628. Lord and Jesus, who is the king of kings and

  629. Lord of lords. Now want you to notice something. There's

  630. a pattern in the Bible.

  631. You have the.

  632. Example of eight miracle births in the Bible. Each of

  633. the births are a type of Christ. Notice Sarah and Isaac.

  634. Sarah could not give give birth, but through a miracle

  635. of God's power when she was what ninety nineteen ninety nine,

  636. she gave birth to Isaac, Rebecca and Jacob. Rebecca was Baron,

  637. and Jacob prayed and she gave birth. Actually it's Isaac

  638. and Rebecca. So Rebecca gives birth to Jacob. Sorry, and

  639. Jacob is a type of Christ. Rachel gives birth to Joseph.

  640. Rachel was Baron, but Jacob praise, and she gives birth

  641. Manoa's wife, I went too fast, Sorry, Manoa's wife. It

  642. doesn't tell us her name was Baron. She has Samson.

  643. Hannah is Baron. She goes and she prays at the temple.

  644. She has what's his name, Samuel. Then there's a shoon

  645. of mye woman and gaheyes, I says she has no child.

  646. Elijah praise and she has a miracle son and Elizabeth

  647. is Baron and through a miracle, she and zachar I

  648. have John the Baptist. And then the final miracle birth

  649. is who is Jesus? Okay, every one of these first

  650. seven miracle births are types of Christ. Notice is Isaac

  651. a type of Christ? He goes up the mountain. He's

  652. a willing sacrifice. The father's beloved son Jacob, who has

  653. the twelve Apostles, is a type of Christ. He has

  654. the twelve Sons. Joseph who is sold by his brothers

  655. as a slave. He forgives him and feeds the world

  656. with the bread of life. During a famine. Samson, he

  657. kills more by his death than he did by his life.

  658. He stretches out his arms and he dies, is a

  659. type of Christ. Samuel, who is a prophet, a priest,

  660. and a judge of Israel, and he interceded for them.

  661. He is a type of Christ. The Shunamite woman, he

  662. has a boy. He dies in the field, but he

  663. is miraculously resurrected like Jesus. Is he a type of Christ.

  664. Then you have Elizabeth and John, John who is the

  665. greatest prophets, who introduces Christ. They are all forerunners. Isn't

  666. it interesting all these miracle birth with all males because

  667. they're types of Christ. And then the ultimate when it

  668. says a woman is striving to bring forth is Jesus

  669. and the devil wants to destroy him. Now, this is

  670. not the first time that the dragon has wanted to

  671. destroy the manchild. What happened during the time of Moses.

  672. The devil knew that a savior was coming. He wanted

  673. to destroy the Savior. He knew that it was going

  674. to be a boy, so he had all the baby

  675. boys thrown in the river, right, but one survives and

  676. he becomes a savior. Then we read about David's descendants.

  677. The devil knew that a savior was coming. There was

  678. going to be a great king who is a descendant

  679. of David. The devil heard the prophecy saying the Messiah

  680. would be a descendant of David. And during the time

  681. of Queen Athaliah, she tried to kill all of the

  682. royal seed of David, but one escapes. His name is

  683. Joe ash Right, and he ends up restoring the true worship,

  684. becomes a type of Christ. And then when Jesus was born,

  685. this herod tried to devour the manchild before he's born,

  686. kills all the babies in Bethlehem. You can see this

  687. consistent effort. The devil is trying to keep the Savior

  688. from getting started to take him out. Why he's a

  689. weak baby all through the Bible. But after Jesus is

  690. caught up to heaven, what does Satan do? He can't

  691. now persecute Christ, so he directs his tension to the Church.

  692. When the dragon saw that he had been cast to

  693. the earth, he can no longer reach Christ. He now

  694. persecutes the woman who gave birth to the manchild. If

  695. you want to hurt somebody, it's one thing to hurt them,

  696. but you're much more effective if you hurt what they

  697. love the most. And God loves us even more than

  698. his own son in that he sacrificed his son. Jesus

  699. offered himself that we might be saved. So the devil

  700. knows that Jesus greatly treasures He's desperate to save us.

  701. He loves us more than his own blood. He gave

  702. his blood to save us, and the devil wants to

  703. hurt Jesus by hurting us. So whenever you're going through

  704. trials and you think God doesn't care, oh he cares.

  705. He knows, he sees it. He cries. The Bible says

  706. that inasmuch as we do it to one of the

  707. least of these, we do it to the Lord, because

  708. the Lord feels everything we feel, and so Jesus, it

  709. breaks his heart when we suffer. Sometimes he allows us

  710. to suffer for our ultimate good and he turns it

  711. to good. But catch this, friends, Not everything bad that

  712. happens to God's people is God's will. There are bad

  713. things that happen in the world that are not the

  714. will of God. Why do we say in the Lord's prayer,

  715. thy will be done? If God's will is always done,

  716. then why do we pray Thy will be done? And

  717. why does the Bible say God is not willing that

  718. any should perish? Will many perish? Yes? Is God willing? No,

  719. there's a lot of things in this world because of

  720. the Devil that happened that are not his will. So

  721. don't blame everything bad that happens on God. Can God

  722. take bad things and turn them for good? Yes, that's

  723. the important truth. But the devil wanted to destroy the church,

  724. so plan a. The devil says, I'm going to destroy

  725. the church by annihilation. I'm just going to make it illegal.

  726. And the early Romans declared Christianity. Even during the time

  727. of Peter and Paul. He declared it Nero Religio illicitae

  728. Paul because he was a Roman, he was beheaded. You

  729. can die quickly if you're a Roman. If you are

  730. not a Roman, you are crucified. Peter was crucified, but

  731. he said, I'm not worthy to be crucified. Crucify me

  732. with my head down. And legend has it that Peter

  733. was crucified head down, which actually accelerated his death. Many

  734. Christians then were thrown the lions or Nero smeared them

  735. with pitch and set them on fire to light his gardens.

  736. And the Christians went underground because you got catacombs all

  737. through the Roman Empire where they would bury their dead underground.

  738. I've been through the catacombs and they go on for

  739. miles and miles and miles. And the whole Christian Church

  740. went underground. But you know what, the more the Christians

  741. were persecuted in the arenas, and the spectator saw them

  742. dying while they were praying, dying with peace, dying with faith.

  743. The blood of the martyrs is seed for the Gospel.

  744. The Church spread through persecution. Devil said, this is not

  745. working very good. I need to go to Plan B.

  746. And if I can't destroy the Church from the outside.

  747. I'm going to try to destroy the Church from the inside,

  748. it says in Revelation thirteen, verse seven. It was granted

  749. to him to make war with the Saints and to

  750. overcome them. He tried to annihilate Christians, but then when

  751. he legalized Christianity, it became a bigger problem. Around the

  752. time of Constantine, the Roman Emperor, he said, you know,

  753. the Christians aren't hurting anyone, and there was already they

  754. were fighting other wars with other branches of the Roman Empire.

  755. Constantine fought the Battle of Maximilian Bridge, and he claimed

  756. to have seen a vision in the sky. By the way,

  757. his mother converted to Christianity. So Constantine said, well, I'm

  758. going to fight under the sign of the Cross. So

  759. he had his soldiers paint across on their shields, and

  760. then he ordered them to march through the Tiber River.

  761. And he said, well, that's baptism. He says, you're all baptized. Now,

  762. you're all Christians. But the problem is that they went

  763. into the water dry pagans, and they came up wet pagans.

  764. They had no idea, and all of a sudden, something

  765. terrible happened. The devil accomplished through compromise what he couldn't

  766. accomplish through outright attack. When he went into the church,

  767. and he brought in compromise. See the Romans, they had

  768. statues everywhere. Someone said there were more statues and idols

  769. in Rome than there were shingles on the roof. They

  770. had idols everywhere, and so all these pains came to

  771. the church leaders. They said, what do we do with

  772. all of our idols? And the faith ones said we'll

  773. get rid of them, and the other church leaders said,

  774. oh no, no, no, we want them to join the church.

  775. Little by little they can get rid of those things.

  776. Let's just let them. Let them give Christian names to

  777. their idols. Nothing wrong if they're praying to you know, Peter, James,

  778. and John, we'll just rename Jupiter, Mercury, and Apollos. And

  779. the statues of Diana holding her baby, we'll call her

  780. Mary and baby Jesus. And they began to rename the statues.

  781. The statue I've been to the Vatican, the statue of

  782. Saint Peter in the Vatican predate Saint Peter. It used

  783. to be the statue of Jupiter. And they moved it

  784. and they've actually kissed away the foot several times and

  785. replaced it. And all this compromise came in. Pastors were

  786. people just like everybody else, and now the pastors were

  787. being treated like a royal class the way the pagan

  788. pastors were, and they had their holy investments, and they

  789. were above the people. And they took the Bibles from

  790. the people and they chained them in the churches and

  791. the monasteries. They said, you're ignorant, you can't understand. We'll

  792. tell you what it says, because they were afraid that

  793. the people read for themselves. They'd find out salvation was

  794. free and you could not pay to get a person

  795. out of purgatory, and that hell did not burn forever

  796. and ever. They got that from the Greek mythology. And

  797. what you had now is a milkshake. It was a

  798. stew with Christianity mixed up with a lot of pagan traditions,

  799. and they became the state religion. The woman committed adultry

  800. with the kings of the earth, and that lasted for

  801. one thousand, two hundred and sixty not days years, because

  802. in prophecy, a day is what it's a year. So

  803. in five thirty eight you can remember that date. And

  804. five thirty eight, Justinian he moved the capital from Rome

  805. to come Stantinople, and he told the Bishop of Rome.

  806. They moved the capital from Jerusalem to Rome, and they said,

  807. we're going to give the Bishop of Roman army so

  808. you can enforce religious observance. It now was being forced

  809. on people. Did Jesus ever use military to force his beliefs?

  810. They became a religious political power that had almost uninterrupted

  811. power from five thirty eight to seventeen ninety eight. Now

  812. what happened during that time? Any of you ever played

  813. chess and you got the king and the queen, and

  814. who's next to the king and the queen, the bishop

  815. on the right and the left. Because that's the way

  816. it was through Europe. The monarchs in Europe couldn't do

  817. anything without church approval. The reason the Church of England

  818. broke away and became its own church is because Henry

  819. the Eighth kept trying to have a male child and

  820. it wasn't working out, and so he would divorce his

  821. wives or he'd kill his wife. And when he finally

  822. wanted the church to approve a divorce, they said, Henry,

  823. enough is enough. You can't keep divorcing her. You don't

  824. have biblical grounds. They did have some values. He said, well,

  825. I'll start my own church. By the way, you know

  826. what's going to happen this week, For the first time

  827. in five hundred years, King Charles is going to meet

  828. with the Pope and they're going to pray together. Isn't

  829. that interesting? And so you see that there was this

  830. big compromise that took place, so made war. The true

  831. Church now had to go underground and fled into the wilderness. Now,

  832. when God's people fled into the wilderness, did he feed

  833. them the children of Israel? Yes, right, Elijah. What you

  834. see happening here in Revelation comes from the time of Elijah. Elijah,

  835. there was a famine for one thousand, two hundred and

  836. sixty days. A Jewish year is a lunar calendar, three

  837. hundred and sixty days. You can read that for one thousand,

  838. two hundred and sixty days of a famine. Elijah fled

  839. into the wilderness, and he was fed by God. The

  840. prophets were hidden in caves, and Oben I have fed

  841. them right during the famine. And Jezebel was on the throne.

  842. Jezebel was a corrupt pagan queen who began to manipulate

  843. a Jewish king, and you had the commingling of church

  844. and state with false religion mixed in till the famous

  845. showdown on Mount Carmel. So number five, Oh, I went

  846. too fast? Where did the woman go during this terrifying

  847. period of persecution? And how long did it last? The church?

  848. The woman fled into the wilderness where she had a

  849. place prepared by God that they should feed her there.

  850. One thousand, two hundred and sixty days. What is the

  851. perfect number of God in the Bible? Seven? What's half

  852. of seven three and a half and half of seven

  853. Jewish years is one thousand, two hundred and sixty days.

  854. How long did Jesus teach one thousand, two hundred and

  855. sixty days? It usually represents a time of resistance and persecution. Christ,

  856. at the end of that time period was killed for

  857. his testimony. Jezebel tried to kill Elijah at the end

  858. of that three and a half year period. After jesus death,

  859. for three and a half years, the apostles preached to

  860. the Jews, and then they killed Stephen exactly three and

  861. a half years later. And now you have three and

  862. a half prophetic years, which is one thousand, two hundred

  863. and sixty years from five thirty eight to seventeen ninety eight.

  864. What happened? Then? Napoleon sent his general Berthier into France,

  865. arrested the pope, put him in captivity. He died in captivity.

  866. The Catholic Church lost its dominance over Europe during the

  867. time of Napoleon, But that deadly wound would be healed later.

  868. We'll talk about that in another study. During the dark ages,

  869. the church one underground. You've heard of the waled Vincians

  870. and the Huguenots, and they lived in the Alps, and

  871. they lived in the mountains, and they would try to

  872. share their faith time of great persecution. But another way,

  873. the church fled into the wilderness. What country all of

  874. a sudden comes into visibility right about the time of

  875. seventeen ninety eight. When did the United States have our

  876. declaration of independence? Seventeen seventy six, Now that's when we

  877. declared it. Are you aware that the nations of Europe

  878. did recognize US as an independent country until seventeen ninety eight.

  879. They realized, you know, they finally looked like they broke

  880. free of Britain and seventeen ninety eight, they treated us

  881. as an independent country, and all the nations of Europe

  882. welcomed our ambassadors. At that time, America then became the

  883. depository of free Protestant religion. Why did the pilgrims come, Well,

  884. some came for trade and some came for exploration. But

  885. the first ships that landed they were looking for a

  886. light on a hill. They were looking for a place

  887. where to practice our religion according to the dictates of

  888. our conscience. And in just a few years America became

  889. the world's number one supporter of international missions. We still

  890. are today. Did you know that it became a bastion

  891. of Protestant growth, and unfortunately a lot of Protestant division too.

  892. We've got more denominations in North America Protestant ones than

  893. any other country of the world. The Church fled into

  894. the wilderness, not only in Europe, but during that end

  895. of that time period, America opened up and provided a

  896. place of freedom. The dragon persecuted the woman the church

  897. who gave birth to the male child. Some people think

  898. this woman was Mary. You're going to see a lot

  899. of paintings in the Catholic Church of Mary standing on

  900. a moon with twelve stars above her head. I must

  901. tell you that it isn't Mary, it's the Church at large.

  902. Mary was a godly woman. But doesn't say that Mary

  903. fled into the wilderness and the dragon tried to devour her.

  904. None of the rest of this prophecy applies to Mary.

  905. Mary stayed with the apostle John, and she was well

  906. known by the church, and she died probably in Antioch. Okay,

  907. so you get the true Church is in the wilderness

  908. from five thirty eight for one two hundred and sixty

  909. years to seventeen ninety eight. You can look up these dates.

  910. If you studied history at all, you're acquainted with these things.

  911. You get this church state union. This beast receives a

  912. deadly wound, but the deadly wound would be healed and

  913. it would recover. We'll get to that later. So the

  914. wilderness now opens up across the water, and America provides sanctuary,

  915. and all the time period fits now. I always think

  916. it's interesting people come from other countries. A lot of

  917. immigrants come to America and they want to assimilate. And

  918. I remember Karen and I were in Russia for the

  919. fall of Communism, and we had Russian friends that moved

  920. to America. Ok And they so, so, what do Americans

  921. eat for breakfast? Cereal? Cereal? Okay, So they go to

  922. the market and they find this aisle as long as

  923. an airport terminal, and there's cereal on both sides, and

  924. they're bewildered. They're going, how do I pick cereal? How

  925. do you pick cereal? The cartoon on the cover. If

  926. it's got the word coco, you pick it right. You

  927. know how I pick my cereal. I don't look at

  928. the picture. I immediately flip to the side of the

  929. box and I read the ingredients. I read the ingredients,

  930. I read the vitamins, I read the fiber content. If

  931. the first ingredient is sugar or the second ingredient sugar,

  932. I put it back. You know how people pick a

  933. church in North America, there's so many different denominations. They

  934. look at the cartoon cover. You know what the main

  935. reasons are people pick churches in North America. It's the

  936. church where my family went, got to be loyal to

  937. the family. Now, that's nice, but that's not the right reason.

  938. It's close to the house, that's great. If the church

  939. is close, wrong reason great music program. We hope the

  940. church has a good music program. Wrong reason to pick

  941. a church, great children's program. You'd be surprised how many

  942. people pick a church because they've got a good children's program.

  943. That is important. Wrong reason to pick a church. I

  944. like the looks of the building. It's new and sophisticated.

  945. It's where the important people in the community go. That's

  946. why they pick the church, because, you know, make contacts

  947. and influence. I go because the preacher is good looking

  948. and dynamic. We know, that's why you're all here this morning, right.

  949. Or they go to the church because they have a

  950. great pot luck. Now, I hope that you find a

  951. church that has a good children's program, good music, good childcare.

  952. The preacher will keep you awake. It's got a nice building,

  953. good facilities that they sometimes feed you. And all those

  954. things are good. None of them are the reason to

  955. pick a church. Those are the main reason people in

  956. North America a church. There is one reason to pick

  957. a church. Biblically, you know what it is. The teachings

  958. of the church are in harmony with the foundational teachings

  959. of Jesus. You need to read the ingredients. You're responsible

  960. for what your church teaches and what it believes? What

  961. are the doctrines? You ask people? What does your church believe? Well,

  962. my church believes the same as I do. Well, what

  963. do you and your church believe? Same thing as the pastor?

  964. What do you the pastor in the church believe? We

  965. all believe alike. People don't know what they believe. Let's

  966. face it, the average American is biblically I little. The

  967. Bible says we should be ready to give an answer

  968. to anyone who asks us the reason that is in

  969. us with meekness and fear. People can tell you about

  970. Survivor and The Bachelor and all these different programs, but

  971. they can't tell you about Thus saith the Lord. We

  972. need to know because the devil, the deception of the

  973. last days are going to be so overwhelming. If it

  974. were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. God

  975. is telling us how to find his church. Let's take

  976. a look for one thing it tells us when it

  977. appears it appears after this time of great dearth the

  978. seventeen ninety eight period. What are two other identifying marks

  979. of God's true, remanent church. The dragon is enraged with

  980. a woman, and he went to make war with the rest.

  981. That word rests there. If you've got King Jacobs, it's

  982. the remnant. It means the remainder of her offspring. Who

  983. keep the commandments? Do you think that would be sixty percent?

  984. Eighty percent? There is in one hundred percent They believe

  985. in all one hundred percent. Every church keeps some of them.

  986. They believe in all of the commandments of God and

  987. have the testimony of Jesus. If you read Steen verse ten,

  988. it says, fear God for the testimony of Jesus is

  989. the spirit of prophecy. I there are religious leaders in

  990. the country on TV I know where friends they come

  991. to me and they said, Doug, you talked about prophecy

  992. an awful light, And I said, yeah, it's thirty percent

  993. of the Bible. And Jesus talks a lot about prophecy,

  994. and it's there to help wake us up and prepare

  995. people's coming friends. And yet a lot of churches are

  996. ignoring these prophecies that appeal to the last These we

  997. are in prophecy countdown right now, These things are unfolding.

  998. Do you think the world's going to go on much

  999. longer the way it's going With Ai and the explosion

1000. of technology and the implosion of the environment, all these

1001. things happening at once. And Jesus said that Day's going

1002. to overtake most people as a thief. It is sooner

1003. than you think. People all figure that, you know when

1004. it turns into an apocalyptic meltdown. Yea, I guess the

1005. end is coming. Jesus said, when he comes, they will

1006. be planting and building and buying and selling and acting

1007. like I've got lots of time left, and it'll overtake

1008. the world as a thief. But Jesus said that day

1009. should not overtake you as a thief. Why because you

1010. read the Bible. You know what's coming. You're studying the word.

1011. The dragon is angry with the woman number seven. How

1012. did Jesus say the word to demonstrate our love for him?

1013. For this is the love of God that we keep

1014. his commandments. And his commandments are not burden some they're

1015. not a burden. That's first John five to three, John

1016. fourteen fifteen, Jesus said, if you love me, do what

1017. keep my commandments? You know? I saw somebody had a

1018. bumper steeker and said, if you love Jesus, honk your

1019. horn any have you ever see that? Yeah, And you know,

1020. you go up behind him and he say, oh.

  1021. It's a Christian beep beep, and.

1022. They turn around. They gesture you in a way that

1023. you can't repeat in church. They forgot about their bumper sticker.

1024. And then I saw another bumper sticker and said, if

1025. you love Jesus tithe, anybody can honk. That's interesting, If

1026. you love Jesus tithe, anybody can honk. Honking's cheap. God

1027. is wanting our hearts, He said, if you love me

1028. Obamy number eight, what three angelic messages will God's end

1029. Time Church be preaching? Now? It tells us what the

1030. emphasis will be. If you read in Revelation fourteen just

1031. before the Second Coming, take your bibles. You might turn

1032. there real quick Revelation chapter fourteen. You know, Revelation thirteen

1033. has the mark of the beast. Revelation fourteen then says,

1034. and you can start with verse six. I saw another

1035. angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the Everlasting

1036. Gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth,

1037. to every nation, tribe, tongue, going to the whole world.

1038. God's Church on the last Days is not going to

1039. be a local corner fellowship. It's going to be an

1040. international movement. Every nation tongue in people, saying with a

1041. loud voice that in Greek is megaphom. Fear God and

1042. give glory to Him, for the hour of his judgment

1043. has come. We are living during the time of what

1044. you judgment, and worship him. It's calling this back to

1045. worship the creator, Him that made the heaven the earth.

1046. To see the springs of water. This is part of

1047. the Sabbath command. And another angel followed saying, Babylon is fallen.

1048. Is fallen that great city we just read about Babylon

1049. in chapter seventeen, because she is talking about a woman

1050. false church has made all nations drunk with the wrath

1051. of her fornication. Babylon counterfeit. Truth is much bigger than

1052. the true friends waiting when the true faithful remnant is

1053. going to be popular, it will never happen. Christ said

1054. most of his people forsook him because what he said

1055. was difficult. Then the third angel followed them, saying with

1056. a loud voice, if anyone worships the beast in his

1057. image and receives his mark on his forehead or his hand,

1058. he himself also will drink the wine of the wrath

1059. of God that has poured out full strength into the

1060. cup of his indignation, and will be tormented with fire

1061. in brimstone, in the presence of the Holy Angels, in

1062. the presence of the Lamb. The most fearful cursed plague

1063. ever found in the Bible is in chapter fourteen of

1064. the New Testament of Revelation, for those who receive the

1065. Beast in his image? Do you think people should get

1066. warned about this? Oh? And then look in verse fourteen,

1067. same chapter. Then I looked and behold the white cloud,

1068. and one on the cloud sat like the son of Man,

1069. having on his head a golden crown and in his

1070. hand a sharp sickle. Christ is coming to reap the

1071. harvest of the earth. So these messages go to the

1072. world just before the Second Coming. If that's clear, saymen,

1073. you neaed the fight that is preaching the Three Angel's messages,

1074. warning people about the false teachings of Babylon, warning about

1075. the impending mark of the Beast, telling people to worship God,

1076. that the time of judgment has come, that judgment must

1077. begin at the House of God. All right, number eight,

1078. So they'll be proclaiming these three angels messages, and I've

1079. just read them to you. First Angel, the Everlasting Gospel.

1080. The Gospel has not changed. We are saved by faith

1081. in Jesus. It goes to the whole world for to

1082. worship the aid. The Sabbath reminds me that God is

1083. the Creator, calling people to worship the Creator. Second Angel,

1084. Babylon is fallen. Is fallen. That means she's fallen. She's

1085. not getting back up. This is a final judgment and

1086. God is calling his people. God has his people in

1087. Babylon calling her out. Let me tell you real quick

1088. what that is dealing with. To understand revelation, you've got

1089. to know what the Old Testament. In the Old Testament,

1090. the children of Israel were carried off to Babylon because

1091. of their faifulness. God, I told you to let the

1092. land rest every seven years, let the land keep Sabbath.

1093. You've not been doing that. So for the last four

1094. hundred and ninety years that you have been ignoring that command,

1095. I'm going to make you spend a year in captivity

1096. while the land rests. So for seventy years they were

1097. captive in Babylon. Now, if you went somewhere and camped

1098. out for seventy years. I've only been here a week. Friends,

1099. I tell you I am comfortable in my hotel room.

1100. I got everything in its place. I got my gizmos,

1101. my gadgets, I got my refrigerator, my food story bay.

1102. When you camp out somewhere for seventy years, they had

1103. their jobs, they had their children, they had their neighbors,

1104. They spoke the language. They were assimilated. And God said,

1105. after Babylon fell, come out of Babylon. Plagues are going

1106. to fall on Babylon. You need to come back to

1107. the Promised Land. And they said, Lord, we kind of

1108. like it here. He said, you're my people. I want

1109. you to come back. Even though it's a little country

1110. compared to Babylon. You've got to trust me. The plagues

1111. are coming on Babylon. Come out of her, my people.

1112. His wife Mesopotamia Babylon. He brought Sarah from Mesopotamia to

1113. the Promised Land. Where did Isaac get his wife Mesopotamia?

1114. Abraham said, don't let him marry a local girl. The

1115. servant went back and got Rebecca from Babylon, brought her

1116. to the Promised Land. Where did Jacob get his wife

1117. out of Babylon. Rachel actually got four for the price

1118. of one. Got Rachel and Leah Zilvan Billha out of Babylon.

1119. Back to the Promised Land. You see what's happening here

1120. over my people, Back to the land I've given you.

1121. Now Here we are in the last days. Babylon is

1122. a religious belief system that has infiltrated. You know what

1123. it's said in Revelation, Babylon the mother of Harlot, she

1124. has a daughters. There's all of these churches. They have

1125. a lot of elements of truth, but there's areas where

1126. they've departed from the Bible and people have become drunk

1127. with the wine of Babylon. And I'll tell you, friends,

1128. there are pastors that I see on TV that are

1129. begging for people's money. And I think people who believe

1130. these guys must be drunk. They are brumpting in twisting

1131. the Bible and taking advantage of people. They're not talking

1132. to them about sin and repentance and living a holy

1133. life and being a witness for Christ. They're talking about

1134. everything's gonna be good. God's gonna bless you. You just

1135. send me money, plant your seed of faith and everything

1136. will be okay with you. And I'm thinking, where are

1137. you calling them to repentance? The first words of Jesus

1138. were repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

1139. The words of John the Baptist of your sins, turn

1140. from sin, be washed in the blood of the Lamb,

1141. have the abundant life. They're not being taught the meat.

1142. All they're getting is this syrupy What does the Bible

1143. teach Amen come out of Babylon. And then you've got

1144. the third message. He's not talking when he says Babylon.

1145. He's not talking about ancient Babylon. It was destroyed back

1146. in the days of Jeremiah. I'm sorry, back in the

1147. days of Nehemiah. And it is never going to be

1148. rebuilt again, Sir tenth Ancient Babylon. What do you call

1149. it to Tom who's saying he's going to rebuild ancient Babylon.

1150. And he got stopped both with the first and the

1151. second goal war. And you can see a picture there.

1152. He built his palace up above the ruins and it

1153. is still ruins. God become capital. Third angel's message it

1154. says that they if anyone worships the beast and his

1155. image and receives his mark on the forehead. We've got

1156. a lesson coming on that. Don't miss this week on

1157. mark on the forehead of the hand, he himself will

1158. drink the wine of the wrath of God. There'll be

1159. great judgment on those number nine who will God? To

1160. whom will God's Church present these messages having the Everlasting

1161. Gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth,

1162. to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. This message is

1163. going to go hearing. What specifications has God given in

1164. his word to help us identify? Does God give us

1165. anything specific to help us to find His remnant church

1166. in the last days one it will appear into its

1167. visible work after it emerges from its wilderness in seventeen

1168. ninety eight. All right, well, let me just stop and

1169. tell you something here. I know some of you are thinking, well,

1170. pastor Doug, you're going to tell us to join your church.

1171. Of course I am if I wasn't telling you that,

1172. you're going to be saying, why don't you join the

1173. church you think we should join. When I came to

1174. Jesus and started reading the Bible, I went to a

1175. lot of churches and met a lot of beautiful people,

1176. but they all disagreed. I want to know the truth.

1177. I want to be able to open up the Bible

1178. and give a biblical defense for what I believe. There

1179. are so many denominations. How do I make up my mind?

1180. While I was living up in the cave in the

1181. mountains there, someone brought me a book called The Great Controversy.

1182. I don't know if any of you have seen our

1183. commercials on Fox Network this week, and have you seen

1184. some of the commercials you see Fox News? I see

1185. some hands. Yeah, we're airing commercials, seventy commercials. It's the

1186. only news channel that would air our irreligious commercials. Brussalem

1187. and I hope you will order one of those and

1188. read it. It pointed to presenting in this seminar, and

1189. I said, this is the truth. Where have these people been?

1190. And it led me to the Seventh Day administ Church.

1191. The Seventh Day administ Church, I say it's popular, but

1192. as I looked at this actual teachings, I said, this

1193. is biblical. And I said, I want to go with

1194. what the Bible says. So this church meets this criteria. Look,

1195. it appears after the visible work after seventeen ninety eight.

1196. It rose up in the eighteen hundreds. The thought and

1197. its teachings will agree with the Bible. You know what

1198. remnant means? I mean or and you order the remnant?

1199. I hold up about it gets everyone's attention. Okay, when

1200. you go to the store, the cardboard still under and

1201. they on the cart. Now you notice what's this? And

1202. then you set it off, and then pillows. I want

1203. to make some curtains, and so that they start cutting

1204. pieces off of the role, right, and they call it

1205. a bolt of cloth, and they keep cutting it off,

1206. and finally you get this odd shape down at the end,

1207. and that's called the remnant. And they usually have them

1208. on sale. But you know, the interesting thing about the

1209. remnant is what comes off last is what went on first.

1210. You with me God's Church in the last days, the

1211. remnant is going to be as the church was in

1212. the beginning. The Bible says that we are going to

1213. return to the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

1214. So we're going to have a faith, and we're going

1215. to have a religion that's going to be the same

1216. as a religion that the apostles were teaching in the beginning.

1217. All right, let's keep going. It will proclaim God's three

1218. end time messages with a loud voice. Is that the

1219. loud reign that I hear. I'm gonna go with that.

1220. It'll have those three messages. It'll be proclaiming that to

1221. the world. It will be a worldwide movement. It's not

1222. just a local congregation. There are some lovely neighborhood churches

1223. where every pastor sort of is a law unto himself.

1224. But this is a global movement. Do you know that

1225. the Seventh day administ Church is the fastest growing Protestant

1226. church in the world. I don't even like to call

  1227. it a denomination as far as I'm concerned, It's a movement.

1228. And just in the last couple of years, Karen and

1229. I have been to India and Pakistan, in China and

1230. Malaysia and South American, Central American. We just we travel

1231. all over the world, and everywhere we go we meet

1232. these people that are finding Bible truth and they are

1233. swarming back to the Word of God, which tells me

1234. that Jesus is coming soon. It will teach the same

1235. gospel as the end times. While it was around the

1236. time of the founding of our country that this church

1237. rose up because it had a nurturing, fertilizing place where

1238. there was freedom of religion and people could practice their

1239. faith here. I am in twenty fourteen. Do you know,

1240. Amazing Facts was one of the only groups that was

1241. allowed to come into China and preach a full evangelistic

1242. series like I'm doing here, except a lot more people.

1243. I was able to preach for fifteen nights, the same

1244. number of meetings I'm doing here in mainland China, and

1245. then they stopped and we are able to videotape it,

1246. and the tapes are going around the country this last year.

1247. The largest Christian church in India probably third or fourth

1248. largest Christian church in the world. The pastor there is

1249. a friend of mine, doctor Satish Kumar. He let me

1250. preach in his church. I'll tell your friends, if you

1251. want to make an evangelist happy. He let him preach

1252. to about twenty thousand people. His membership is three hundred

1253. and ninety thousand, and they have about five services during

1254. the day and all these buildings scattered across and he's

1255. got campuses everywhere. And he used to listen to Amazing

1256. Facts tapes years ago when he first went into the ministry,

1257. so he doesn't believe everything we believe. But he's a

1258. Bible preacher, and he is watching. He's letting us share

1259. his material. We're sending magazines that he's sharing with his congregation.

1260. Things are happening all over the world. Friends, Jesus gave

1261. us the seven prophetic identifying marks, and he said, go

1262. and find my church. What does Jesus promise if you search?

1263. He says, seek and you will find. And the seeking

1264. needs to happen in the Bible number twelve. How many

1265. church organizations will fit in the word, will fit in

1266. the world. I'm sorry, how many church organizations in the

1267. world will fit these seven points. There's what one Lord,

1268. one faith, one baptism, and they're going to match up

1269. with what the teachings of the Scripture are. Going back

1270. to the teachings of Bible times number thirteen. Many denominations

1271. call themselves Christians. Does that make them God's true church? No?

1272. You read in Isaiah chapter four, verse one, in that

1273. day seven women, what's a woman? They'll take hold of

1274. one man, Jesus saying, we'll lead our own bread, their

1275. own idea of the bread of life. Well wear our

1276. own apparel, our own idea of righteousness. But we want

1277. to be called by your name to take away our reproach.

1278. You got all these different churches. They want the name Christianity,

1279. but there's a lot of wolves that are scattered in

1280. among the sheep. How do you pick a church with

1281. all these denominations? Friends, read the ingredients. It's in the

1282. Bible number fourteen. Once a person discovers God's true end

1283. time church, is it necessary to become a member? Well?

1284. Why when did you want to? The Bible says the

1285. Lord did what he added to the church daily those

1286. who are being saved, who wants to be saved, we

1287. must be part of that. Take a stand with God's people,

1288. take a stand for God's truth. Membership in God's end

1289. time Church were called into one body. That body is

1290. the Church First Corinthians, Chapter twelve thirteen. We enter that

1291. body by baptism number fifteen. How many ways of escape?

1292. Where they're In Noah's day? There was one arc and

1293. there was one door, and Jesus said, I am the door.

1294. The Bible says that he is the truth. Friends, there

1295. aren't multiple truths. Are you aware of that? There is

1296. the truth? Jesus is the truth. There is one arc

1297. in the last days. Since here's the important question, since

1298. there are many faithful Christians in other churches, and since

1299. God only has one remnant church in the last days,

1300. what's going to happen to these sincere Christians? Answer, Jesus said,

1301. other sheep I have that are not of this fold,

1302. them also I must bring. They will hear my voice

1303. through the word and through the preacher. They will hear

1304. my voice, and there will be how many one flock,

1305. one fold, one shepherd. When Jesus comes back, do you

1306. think he's coming back for church that's scattered through all

1307. these different disagreeing denominations, or is there going to be

1308. a movement of the spirit that's going to bring people

1309. back together based on the Word? Where Christians are going

1310. to stand? And I see that movement happening now in

1311. North America. You can see people are thinking more about Christianity.

1312. But you can be sure there's going to be a

1313. polarization to the right and to the left. And we're

1314. gonna have to say, we're going to go buy the

1315. Bible and what the Bible says, Amen Babylon, the Great

1316. is falling, God says, come out of her my people,

1317. that you may not share in her sins or receive

1318. of her plays. Jesus is calling you today to be

1319. part of his people, to enter that ark of safety.

1320. You're very precious to him. Now, you got a card

1321. when you came in. If you'd reach for that right now,

1322. I'd like to invite you to take this card out.

1323. Those who are watching you will find this at the

1324. website on the internet Prophecy Countdown TV. Please put your

1325. contact information on here. You may have a prayer request

1326. you just want to put on the back for us.

1327. We have a team that will pray for you first

1328. and foremost. If you'd like to say I have accepted

1329. Jesus as my personal savior, we like to encourage you

1330. to make that decision, check that box. Second question, I

1331. see from the Bible that God has.

  1332. A remnant people.

1333. In these last days. You can see that God's going

1334. to bring his people back. There'll be one fold and

1335. one shepherd, and you want to be part of that.

1336. Number three. I desire to worship in spirit and truth

1337. and would like to join God's remnant people. I want

1338. to be part of that movement that is based solely

1339. on the word of God. Please mark that on your envelope.

1340. Question number four. I still have questions about this subject

1341. and I'd welcome help to study it further. You'd maybe

1342. like some Bible studies to help you with that, and

1343. I'd like you to be praying. Friends. I know that

1344. some of you are thinking about getting to your cards

1345. or getting to your lunch, but I'd like to have

1346. you appreciate this sacred moment today. I presented before you

1347. life and good, blessing and cursing death and evil. That's

1348. what Moses said to the children of Israel. Jesus wants

1349. us to take a stand for the truth. The truth

1350. is not to be a burden. Sometimes the truth hurts,

1351. but Jesus said, the truth will set you free. God

1352. has a plan for your life. You're not hearing this

1353. message now by accident. You're not here in this audience

1354. by accident. It's because God had a divine appointment. I'd

1355. like you to pray and write down on your envelope

1356. say Lord, yes, I want to say yes to Jesus.

1357. I want to be part of your people. If you've

1358. not been baptized biblically, you might include that in the

1359. section there and say I'm interested in baptism, or you

1360. may have some prayer requests for us. Please write that

1361. down and may I pray with you as we close

1362. and you make these decisions. After you fill out your envelope,

1363. don't just take it home with you. There'll be ushers

1364. at the door that will take your envelopes and we'll

1365. be praying over that and we'll contact you Father in heaven. Lord,

1366. we are thankful for the moving of your spirit in

1367. these last days that reminds us that Jesus is coming soon.

1368. That you are preaching these three angel messages around the

1369. world right now, you're calling people together. I pray that

1370. you'll bless each of these people. Some are hearing these

1371. things for the first time, and there's a struggle going

1372. on in their hearts. Help them to recognize your voice

1373. speaking through your word. Pray you'll bless answer any questions

1374. that may be lingering, and help them say yes to

1375. Jesus and yes to the truth. Bless them all, bless

1376. our meetings that follow. We thank you. We pray all

1377. these things in Jesus' name. Amen, God, bless you friends.

1378. When is our next meeting tomorrow night? No? No, no, no,

1379. don't go anywhere yet. Wait, I want to ask you

1380. a favor. I'm going to take a picture with you.

1381. Is that okay? The next meeting is going to be

1382. tonight and it's the Devil and Dead Prophets. You don't

1383. want to miss this because, especially with Halloween coming, a

1384. lot of people are being to see it by what's happening.

1385. So sit there for just a moment. We're going to

1386. invite the photographer to come out. We're going to take

1387. a selfie together. And but if you all smile, it.

  1388. Won't take long.

1389. Is pastor offs coming? Just me? Okay, smile, don't move

  1390. if you wave
