  2. I'm not asking you to spread over there.

  3. I'm just not asking for my shoulders every trip for me.

  4. It's grace to all the steps of me to my best.

  5. That's all I know is ways to say I see all the crowd with the cross to be I'm an asking to get part with the room through the light.

  6. I can't speak for me to my life to stay to all my God every time to stand for me.

  7. You know what every day to tell I love my death, you know I do everything for me to my I'm not asking for a crown there's a cross to pray I see the big honor is praise to overcome every truth to step for deep Dear Lord and do my bed with prayer to tell no one I Lord and you have to place to love for me to go to my bed of work I ask to God of you're grace to say I manage me you to move my temptation War even you love how to travel with I'm not asking you to spend on the birth time I'm just asking for myself every time you want to do my border to place the world every step for thee, dear Lord and too much everyone's precious, you're born with you.

  8. And there's a be the fruit of the spirit I want to see and to press through this veil of place and to enter into his way and overcomer it's what I want to be oh and overcomer it's what I want to be to see a spirit with me to destroy this house a play to stand on Mount I am one day, and overcomer is what I want to be, and overcomer is what I want to be to see your spirit repay to destroy this out of play and to step on time one day, and overcover is what I want to be and want more of you, and less of me the fruit of the spirit I long to see and to press through this cell of flesh, and to enter into its rest and overcommer is what I want to be oh and overcommer is what I want to be to see your spirit with to stand home as I am one day and overcome it's what I want to be and overcome.

  9. And to stand on my time one day and overcome it.

  10. I was thinking about the Lord didn't come by Moses, but raised him truth came by Jesus Christ.

  11. And what was the purpose of that?

  12. So that we may live.

  13. Because of Adam, because of the fall of man.

  14. I think it's in Romans chapter 5 it said, by one man, sin entered the world, and death by sin, and death passed upon all men.

    Romans 5 chapter mention

  15. But it was by Jesus Christ, how by one man's obedience, many were made righteous.

  16. So we have a chance today.

  17. We have a chance today because of Jesus Christ.

  18. Jesus Christ lived so that we can live.

  19. So I'm just so thankful to be here today.

  20. He's this grace to overcome.

  21. He's giving us a chance to take off the old man and put on the new man.

  22. He said, though the outer man perish, the inner man is renewed day by day.

  23. So every time you wake up, you have those showing mercies of David day by day.

  24. He's giving you the opportunity to overcome.

  25. So if you entered into this race to be an overcomer, you just tell the Lord uh grace to overcome to He to give you, to continue to give you grace to overcome every trial and every test, grace to uh I don't want to mess up to stand with thee to with to do my very best.

  26. Excuse me, I I may be running too fast.

  27. I had to slow myself down, but I'm just so grateful because the Lord has afforded this opportunity to us.

  28. So I'm just so grateful for the the grace, the chance for grace to overcome.

  29. I just want to continue to grow more in the things of God.

  30. So I'm just so thankful, thankful to be a good amen.

  31. When I give God all the honor Yes sir.

  32. Yes sir.

  33. Yes sir.

  34. When I just give God all the honor and all the glory.

  35. Amen.

  36. I never I gotta I gotta have a thing.

  37. Oh my god.

  38. I gotta leave there.

  39. I'm just dropping all everything gonna be alright.

  40. Everything alright already.

  41. But I just gotta have to go through it.

  42. I don't want to keep it to myself, but you know, you wanna let people know what's going on with you, you know.

  43. You wanna let them say so grateful that no matter what, I would have to go through this.

  44. But I'm just glad where I'm at right now.

  45. I know one time when I was losing a bunch of friends, guys that I went to school and they were dying and stuff, I said, I'm so glad to be here.

  46. Brother Brown told me something about it.

  47. You know, he said something, he talked about it, but glad to be here for what?

  48. To be an overcomer.

  49. That's right.

  50. Now I know why I'm here.

  51. Now I know my purpose.

  52. You know, I knew it.

  53. And I thank God for all the good time and the bad time that I had to go to to get to where I'm at right now.

  54. I'm in a I'm in a good, peaceful place right now in my walk with the Lord, in my walk with in the body.

  55. I'm in a good place right now.

  56. You know, I feel good.

  57. Not because of the sickness, I was feeling good before.

  58. You know, I just feel good about it.

  59. I didn't quite understand, you know, the love of God.

  60. I didn't understand the love of people or people, you know, I didn't know how to love them back the way that I was supposed to love them back.

  61. But I thank God now I don't learn how to love everybody, you know, and the body.

  62. I love I just I just I just love the people of God.

  63. I just love them and I enjoy the company, you know, I enjoy the presence, and I'm just so grateful.

  64. You know, I people say, well, don't get caught up in people.

  65. No, but we this is God.

  66. This is this we make God up.

  67. You know, we make him up.

  68. We the ones that do it.

  69. If people don't see God in us, they'll never see God.

  70. So, you know, so I'm just grateful.

  71. I'm just I'm just so happy, and every time when I don't be here, I know I'll be missing out upon.

  72. I know I miss out upon something.

  73. And if you don't feel that way, something wrong with you.

  74. If you don't miss being with the people of God or the being up in these meetings, if you ain't got to that point yet, I guess it's been almost nine or ten years.

  75. If I ain't got to that point now where I feel missed, I I know I should be here, I want to be here because I know I'm gonna miss out on something.

  76. I know I'm gonna miss it.

  77. I know I'm don't care if I watch it on the live stream or whatever, but I know it's nothing like being here.

  78. It's nothing like feeling the presence of God and seeing the presence of God in people's lives.

  79. So I'm just like I said, I want y'all to pray for me.

  80. Not just in that, but in everything that I'm gonna do into my life, all the things that I'm gonna do that I'm thinking of my life.

  81. You're praying for me.

  82. I'd like to give you a report based on where I'm at and my staying and am I being at the at the facility.

  83. But before I do that, I would like to give God the praise.

  84. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.

  85. I want to put your mind on the scripture, said, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise, and said, Be thankful unto him and bless his name, for the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endured to all generations.

  86. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.

  87. I can reflect the scripture to you.

  88. Look what Psalm says in 150 Psalms.

  89. Someone pull it up and read it for me.

  90. Look what it says.

  91. That everything before that part, left before, let's get to the first one.

  92. Praise the Lord, what it says.

  93. Pull it up.

  94. You got my hands up.

  95. Listen, when the police pull you over, what do they tell you?

  96. Stick them up.

  97. Not only that, but once they arrest you, they give you the crew, they give you their Miranda rights, right?

  98. It says, You have the right to remain silent.

  99. Anything that you say can and will be used against you in the court of law.

  100. You have the right to an attorney, but if you can't afford one, one will be given to you.

  101. Do you understand what I just read to you?

  102. And you're both to say yes.

  103. Saints, you have the right, you don't have the right to remain silent.

  104. Anything you do not say can and will be used against you in the court of the law.

  105. You don't have the right to be silent.

  106. Brother Vincent, I need to hear your testimony.

  107. Saints, I need to hear your testimony.

  108. Everybody, you do not have the right to remain silent.

  109. So give God the praise.

  110. Give him the praise.

  111. Give him the praise.

  112. Everyone, I don't know if everyone can understand.

  113. I appreciate the spirit of God.

  114. And uh, you can't take God in.

  115. He doesn't have to speak at a specific location.

  116. The same God that speaks from here can speak out there.

  117. I just want ears to hear.

  118. What about you?

  119. I want a heart to obey, I want a mind that can be regulated by the Spirit of God.

  120. I think the Lord is trying to tell us, get them up.

  121. I say, let's get them up high.

  122. Let everything that have breath, praise the Lord.

  123. And as far as your hallelujah, as far as your conditions are concerned, is hallelujah, anyhow.

  124. Don't never ever let your troubles get you down.

  125. When hard trials come your way, I say hold your head up high and faith.

  126. Hallelujah, anyhow.

  127. Amen.

  128. Oh, and never let your troubles get to die.

  129. And when I troubles come your way, oh jump and I've been hauluya, baby.

  130. Never ever let your troubles get it.

  131. I've got a much fire on the victory into the trouble.

  132. If I was bored of understanding, I would think you all just making a whole lot of noise.

  133. But even the very songs we sing.

  134. Paul said, What I would that you would sing with the Spirit and sing with the and so we understand this message.

  135. The message of an overcomer, or you may be seated, the vision of an overcomer, the message of an overcomer, a distinct sound, a trumpet that gives a certain sound.

  136. It's a victorious sound.

  137. And even we teach our message, that is the message of the body of Christ, which is an overcoming message.

  138. We preach our message.

  139. The difference between preaching and teaching, preaching is to proclaim redundantly.

  140. That's what preaching is.

  141. It's to proclaim redundantly.

  142. That's preaching.

  143. And then teaching is to explain with simplicity and clarity so you can understand what's being proclaimed.

  144. This vision, this message of overcoming.

  145. And no doubt that's what the Lord is in.

  146. We don't script meetings.

  147. We're led by the Spirit of God.

  148. Our job is to saturate our hearts with the word of God, flood our minds with the word of God, and the Spirit of God can direct you.

  149. That is what he would have his people to know for today.

  150. I hear overcoming in what you hear.

  151. That's what I'm hearing.

  152. That's what I'm hearing.

  153. When you prepare a message and you bring it, the Bible calls that molen bread.

  154. That's something that you done.

  155. Forgive me, these are the biblical terms.

  156. I didn't make them up.

  157. I think Isaiah chapter 5, he calls it vomit.

    Isaiah 5 chapter mention

  158. When you error in judgment, you stumble in vision, that's what you do.

  159. You vomit up messes.

  160. Something you write at home and you come up and you vomit it on the people.

  161. But how do you know what the Spirit of God wants to say today?

  162. And so I don't can't tell you what the Spirit of God is, and I can only tell you what I prepare.

  163. Aren't you glad for that spirit-led people?

  164. Absolutely.

  165. Because nobody knows the mind of the Spirit.

  166. You learn to follow it.

  167. And what the Lord is telling us today is overcoming.

  168. And uh that's not a complicated word.

  169. And here's something that the religious world, I don't know why you can't read your Bible and understand it.

  170. There is no promises in the Bible given to the people for consolation.

  171. In this Bible, it's one or two, it's life or death.

  172. That's your choice.

  173. And to get eternal life or immortality, you have to be an overcomer.

  174. Every promise in the Bible is made to those that overcome.

  175. Let me go back and explain.

  176. The word overcome is not a it's not a difficult understanding.

  177. To overcome don't mean to come over.

  178. To overcome means that you prevail over every trial, over every test, every affliction.

  179. And if I didn't have obstacles, then I could ever be an overcomer.

  180. If I can't overcome naturally, I surely won't overcome spiritually.

  181. The Bible says that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural and then that which is spiritual.

  182. And so my attitude toward afflictions and trials and tests and values, it proves whether or not I'm really striving to be an overcomer.

  183. So how do you know the difference?

  184. You know, you can smell a person when their flesh is the can, which is every minute, every hour, every day.

  185. Just don't bathe yourself.

  186. And we can tell uh that you're the kin.

  187. Everyone is the king.

  188. I'm not gonna be that long.

  189. I used to love you, brother.

  190. I used to love you, brother.

  191. Austin has not been Austin has not been good to you.

  192. He was a humble son before he moved to Austin.

  193. I I really don't want to stand long, but it's it's essential.

  194. I'm flipping too loud, I believe.

  195. Uh it's essential that we understand the biblical terminology.

  196. The Bible calls it Hebrew.

  197. And uh there's two kinds of language in the Bible.

  198. That's ashgod.

  199. That's just worldly talk, uh, worldly cliches.

  200. What is that, Nehemiah?

  201. Someone give me that scripture.

  202. And the people of God, they couldn't speak.

  203. They couldn't speak Hebrew, they could only speak Ashgod.

  204. Oh, you know what Ashgod is?

  205. My problems, my my trials, and this is not right, and that you complain and you mumble.

  206. That's a resort of give me give you some concepts right out of the good word of God.

  207. As I was stating about a man not taking a natural bath, you can smell the cake.

  208. What you call this must, that's just your body that can.

  209. And if you don't remove those dead cells in the bacterias, it gives out a foul odor.

  210. And even as it is natural, so is it spiritual.

  211. And you first have to see that which is natural.

  212. Everything that's in the kingdom of God, everything that pertains to the kingdom of heaven, is seen first in the nature and natural, naturally.

  213. Romans chapter 1, verse 20.

    Romans 1:20

  214. The invisible thing, that's spiritual things of God is clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made.

  215. That's natural thing, even his, that's God's eternal power and Godhead, so that we, mankind, is without excuse.

  216. For God has shown it to us.

  217. I want you to consider this verse.

  218. Everything spiritual has a natural manifestation first.

  219. Otherwise, it's nothing but hoodoo, hindu, voodoo.

  220. It's not real.

  221. That's something people made up.

  222. It's first natural.

  223. There's an illustration to every truth, naturally and then spiritually.

  224. Even your body, the canned body.

  225. Uh this is called, Paul calls it second, I'm sorry, he uh Romans chapter 7, he calls it a body of death.

    Romans 7 chapter mention

  226. Who shall deliver me from this body of death?

  227. And then he makes another statement in 2 Corinthians chapter 4.

    2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention

  228. He says, Though the outer man perish, that's the natural man, the inner man, which is a spiritual man, is renewed day by day.

  229. And so when the outer man is perishing, it gives off an unsavory odor.

  230. Every single day.

  231. If you don't bathe it and do something with it, you're gonna smell it.

  232. It's the same thing spiritually.

  233. When a person, you're doing one or two things.

  234. You're either coming up on the victorious side, we all got to climb the same mountain, or you're coming down on the wrong side.

  235. You can't do both.

  236. You're on one side of the mountain or the other.

  237. Either you're lifting your eyes into the heels when winds coming to your help, or you got a bow-down head.

  238. Uh, just like this woman that Jesus saw, she couldn't lift herself up, all she could see is the donkey maneuver and so on and so forth.

  239. And so that's why you tell you, lift up your head, so ye gates, and be ye lifted up you.

  240. But the outer man, the natural man, he decayed.

  241. And the same thing with the person who has the baptism of the Holy Ghost, are striving to have a relationship with the Lord.

  242. If you're not feeding the inner man, if you're not growing, then you are decaying.

  243. And what tells is your carnality.

  244. What tells your carnality is simple.

  245. Solomon put it like this: out of the abundance of the heart, the what?

  246. The mouth speak it.

  247. Listen to what comes out of a person's mouth.

  248. A negative person.

  249. A negativity is the first manifestation of a carnal person without restraints.

  250. It comes out of your mouth.

  251. Your mumber, your complaint, your whisper.

  252. That's just negativity.

  253. And so it manifests either through mummering, dropping cockatrike eggs, always complaining, got an indictment against this person.

  254. Jesus said, How can a he put it like this, first of all?

  255. He says, a good man, that's a spiritual man.

  256. Because Paul said in me that he is in my flesh dwelleth no good thing.

  257. So when the Bible says a good man, he means the inner man, the spiritual man.

  258. That's the good man.

  259. The outer man, nothing good about that.

  260. And so, an individual, if he's a good man, that if he's a spiritual man, Jesus said, out of the abundance of the heart, no, that's not the script we want to use.

  261. He said, How can a good man, oh, he put it like this, a good man out of the abundance of his heart bringing forth good things.

  262. So if I'm spiritual minded, if I'm spiritual fed, if I'm spiritual growing, the words that come out of my mouth going to minister grace to the hearers.

  263. The words that come out of my mouth should edify it, should build up.

  264. Not find fault and not find negativity.

  265. Well, sure we got trials, sure we got tests, but it's hallelujah, anyhow.

  266. And that's the difference between a carnal mind and a spiritual mind.

  267. A spiritual mind is not looking down, he keeps his eyes on the prize.

  268. He's looking unto Jesus, who is the author and the finisher of his faith.

  269. So when you see someone who's just carnal, just complaining and whining, and you can't hold it long.

  270. You can try to be positive, but if you're not spiritual, you're gonna find something negative to drop.

  271. You will.

  272. And so when you come to the kingdom of God, the first thing you learn, the first thing you learn, give me a scripture first.

  273. I don't want to just talk to you because anybody can talk.

  274. Uh Ephesians chapter, that's Ephesians chapter 4, around the 26th verse, thereabout.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  275. He said, let no corrupt communication proceed out of your out of your mouth.

  276. Corrupt communication is not just profanity, it's negativity, it's complaining, it's whining, it's indicting.

  277. That's on the wrong side of the mountain.

  278. You're gonna hit bottom like that.

  279. If someone can't stop you and lift you up out of that horrible pit and bring you on the other side of the mountain.

  280. That's a predestinated end.

  281. There it is.

  282. 29.

  283. Let no, say, read this verse with me, please.

  284. Let no what?

  285. Corrupt communication is negativity, is mummering, is complaining, it's whining, it's indicting.

  286. I can find evil anywhere if I'm looking for it, but that's not what I'm looking for.

  287. I'm looking for the good in every situation.

  288. I'm looking for good in people.

  289. I don't have to know everything about you.

  290. If I'm around you for three minutes, I'm trying to find some good thing about you.

  291. You say, well, Brother Brown, they may, they may put hoodoo on you.

  292. They may.

  293. I don't believe in that spooky stuff.

  294. I don't believe nobody can do anything to you except God allows it or you permit it.

  295. If you can't get something in my system, if you can't get me to drink it, to eat it, to swallow it, to inhale it, you can't do nothing.

  296. The rest of that is just spiritual voodoo.

  297. It doesn't exist.

  298. I come up from the round the south, so I know about the superstition.

  299. Paul calls them old wise fables.

  300. And so, no, I'm not that apprehensive about people, I'm not that concerned about people.

  301. I don't have to live a secret life.

  302. Uh well, people know what's going on in your life, they're gonna put something on, put what on me.

  303. You can't do no more to God's people than what he permit.

  304. Do you believe that saints of God?

  305. I say I'm sheltering in his arm.

  306. Do you believe that?

  307. And so there's no reason for all that negativity.

  308. You're defeating yourself.

  309. Let's get go through it.

  310. I want this.

  311. I want to come up and listen to the song.

  312. I'm gonna give you it, it's it's the psalms that come out of the Bible.

  313. We're coming up on a mountain, but my wife will sing the rough side of the mountain.

  314. That's what he sung in the Bee Church.

  315. Well, this ain't no rough side, but it is hills and valleys.

  316. But that's good.

  317. That's where you develop character, integrity, reputation, what people say about you.

  318. But your character is who you are in spite of what people say.

  319. Can you be steadfast?

  320. Can you be unmovable?

  321. Can you be always abounding in the work of the Lord?

  322. Can you lay aside every weight and the sin which has so easily beset us?

  323. By the way, a weight may not be a sin, but it'll stop you from finishing your race.

  324. Negativity will do that.

  325. An evil heart of unbelief would do cause you to do that.

  326. Then he tells it, looking unto who?

  327. Jesus, who is the author.

  328. That means he's begun this overcome.

  329. He's the first overcomer.

  330. He is the one that begun this race and shows you that he can do it, that you can do it.

  331. In this world, he makes you a promise.

  332. You're gonna be of good cheer.

  333. You're gonna have, you're gonna have tribulation, but be of what?

  334. Good cheer.

  335. Why?

  336. For I, Jesus Christ, have overcome.

  337. I want you to write that word down, overcome the world.

  338. He's the first overcomer.

  339. He overcame death, hell, and the grave.

  340. And so are you, you're called to be an overcomer.

  341. There's professing two and a half billion Christians.

  342. But there's not many overcomers.

  343. Graveyard is full of good people, good Christians, but you won't find one overcomer.

  344. That's a big difference.

  345. I'm taking time to walk you through it.

  346. And so uh is with the two-edged sword in our mouth.

  347. Let's start with that.

  348. Do you know what a two-edged sword is?

  349. Hebrews chapter 4, verse 12.

    Hebrews 4:12

  350. The word of God is quick, that means living, powerful, sharper than any.

  351. So the word of God is equivalent to a two-edged sword.

  352. You know why it's called that?

  353. Because it separates the joints and the marrow, the bones, and I'm sorry, the spirit and the flesh.

  354. Let's go down a little bit further.

  355. Here we go.

  356. Listen.

  357. Your soul has to be severed from this old adamic spirit.

  358. Negativeness.

  359. Defeatedness.

  360. There's nothing no one can do to cause you to be defeated.

  361. Only you can do that.

  362. Great is he that is in you than I like Bible reading people.

  363. Let's keep reading.

  364. That's like John and James when he was uh on their way to Jerusalem, and they wouldn't receive him.

  365. And so they asked Jesus, you want us to call out fire from heaven like Elijah and burn them up?

  366. Jesus said, You don't know what spirit you are.

  367. Son of man came to save life, not to destroy it.

  368. That's the wrong spirit.

  369. Want anyone to miss it?

  370. Want anyone to be destroyed?

  371. It's the wrong spirit.

  372. And when I talk about you, I'm wishing evil on you.

  373. I'm slandering your character.

  374. The problem is not you, it's me.

  375. It's something in me.

  376. That's called corrupt communication.

  377. That's the number one thing we don't do in this assembly.

  378. We do not gossip, we do not backbite.

  379. And eventually you learn not to mumber and not to complain.

  380. But to endure hardness as what?

  381. Good soldiers.

  382. And so Christ was the first example.

  383. The Bible said, being reviled, he reviled not again.

  384. Let's read that.

  385. That's 2 Peter's.

  386. Let's take a look at that for a moment.

  387. Is that 2 Peter's 3 and 1?

  388. Help me out here.

  389. No, that's not 3 and 1.

  390. I'll get that for me.

  391. Who will revile?

  392. Revile not again.

  393. First, thank you.

  394. I like Bible students.

  395. It's all where's the battleground?

  396. Everyone tap on the battleground.

  397. Tap on the battleground.

  398. It says right between your ears.

  399. This is where victory either won or lost.

  400. It's right between your ears.

  401. If I can overcome my way of thinking, if I can come to overcome pity partners, I've seen saints do this.

  402. I've seen people who mumbered so much.

  403. Every time you get around them, it was some sad story.

  404. Hogging all of the pity.

  405. Nobody have no more pity.

  406. Couldn't have pity for no one else.

  407. They hogged it all up.

  408. How you doing this morning?

  409. Oh, you don't understand what I'm going through.

  410. Oh God, not again this morning.

  411. Hogging the pity.

  412. And then they got pity parties.

  413. Sending out invitations and get upset when nobody won't come.

  414. Thank you, Lord.

  415. But look at them now.

  416. Take them a while, but look at them now.

  417. You watch them overcome that.

  418. If you can overcome that, you can overcome all things.

  419. Here he is.

  420. This is your example.

  421. Go back one verse so you understand who the who is talking about Christ.

  422. And listen, go back one more verse.

  423. I want you to get this.

  424. For even hereunto, and nobody writes about suffering like Peter's.

  425. If you want to understand suffering, read 1 Peter's, those five chapters.

  426. That man suffered.

  427. God ordained it that he could be an example.

  428. And so he said, even hereunto were you called, you're called to suffer.

  429. Do you know why?

  430. Because it's going to burn things out of you, or it's going to burn things in you that you need.

  431. He that has suffered, we'll read that he that has suffered in the flesh has what?

  432. Cease from sin.

  433. We're going to read.

  434. Listen, even here unto where you call because Christ also did what?

  435. He suffered for us, leaving us, here's the key word, an example.

  436. It's okay to suffer for someone else's weaknesses.

  437. Don't run to evil for evil, ruling for ruling.

  438. It's okay to suffer for that.

  439. That's called sowing, that's called sowing righteousness.

  440. Take it.

  441. If a person whining, complaining, backbiting, they're weak, they're carnal, they're earthly.

  442. They need help.

  443. Don't criticize them.

  444. Try to help them.

  445. Say, sis, brother, don't keep thinking like that.

  446. Lift them up out of the donehill.

  447. Help them to stop that because it's this it's destructive.

  448. Watch a negative person.

  449. First, naturally, you'll never accomplish anything positive being negative.

  450. You find someone who's negative, I'm gonna tell you for an absolute fact their whole life is gonna have a big F on it.

  451. Failure.

  452. Because you can't think right.

  453. This is why here we teach people.

  454. No matter what your obstacle, you keep going.

  455. We have people witnesses that have been in school for 10 years, college for eight years, ten years.

  456. I can't take it no more.

  457. I quit.

  458. They don't tell you they quit after, they don't tell you when they quit it.

  459. Okay, you quit.

  460. Next semester you're going back.

  461. Oh, I can't go back.

  462. You're gonna go back and be saying this church.

  463. We're not a bunch of quitters.

  464. We're not a bunch of negative people.

  465. If I fall down, I'm gonna do what?

  466. Because it's a battleground, not a fight.

  467. It's not a game.

  468. We didn't start all quitting.

  469. And so every young person in this school, this church, every young person, if you've been here for three years or longer, and you graduated, you either end college or you finish college.

  470. No exceptions, not even one.

  471. Why do you do that, Brother Brown?

  472. Teach people how to overcome.

  473. Overcome negativity.

  474. Overcome, I can't.

  475. Overcome, I'm a victim.

  476. And nothing's stopping you but you.

  477. So you can quit.

  478. But next semester, you're going back.

  479. I've seen them go back and quit again.

  480. But next semester you're going back again.

  481. You'll stop before I stop.

  482. So it might take them six years, eight years, ten years, but you're gonna stay till you're finished because I'm not gonna ever lighten up off you.

  483. Because God made you and He doesn't make junk.

  484. But He made you, He made you to be an overcomer.

  485. He brought you here is to succeed, not to fail.

  486. I understand this is wrong, that's wrong.

  487. I understand all of that.

  488. But we got to keep going.

  489. Are you with me, Saints of God?

  490. Let's keep reading.

  491. Leaving us an example that we should follow his steps.

  492. Suffer the trial, suffer the affliction because others are looking at you.

  493. These brothers over all these are not ministers or elders, but they're examples of men who don't quit.

  494. Jesus put it like this: He that whosoever put his hands to the plow, looking back is what?

  495. You're not fit for the kingdom of heaven.

  496. Christ said that.

  497. Then Paul makes a statement.

  498. Hebrews chapter 10.

    Hebrews 10 chapter mention

  499. He said, if any man draw back my soul, God has a soul.

  500. He said, My soul should have no pleasure in them.

  501. But here's the body of Christ.

  502. But we're not of those who draw back to perdition.

  503. But we may agree to the wit.

  504. We don't aware.

  505. We don't love them.

  506. We don't avoid.

  507. We don't want.

  508. And we don't whisper.

  509. We get rid of negativity.

  510. Did you hear me, people of God?

  511. We enter this race to be an overcomer.

  512. That's what we're here for.

  513. Anything less than that, we missed the mark.

  514. We just was religious.

  515. We were church going.

  516. But we weren't overcomers.

  517. Overcomers are people who are victorious and don't stop until we get to victory.

  518. Is that all right?

  519. But I don't believe it because I said it, because I don't have King James on my mouth.

  520. I may be lying to you.

  521. So let's get a book, chapter, verse.

  522. Let's line up the word of God with the word of God.

  523. And there's no there's no new message under the sun.

  524. I think uh who says that Solomon says this in Ecclesiastes chapter 1.

    Ecclesiastes 1 chapter mention

  525. That's one and six.

  526. Get that from me.

  527. There's no new thing under the sun.

  528. That which is has already been, that which shall be is now.

  529. There's no new, nothing new under the sun.

  530. God has always had people who face obstacles in Simone.

  531. Do you believe this gospel, sir?

  532. Are you striving?

  533. You're an overcomer?

  534. I will be.

  535. I'm overcome sometime.

  536. That's what that, sir.

  537. I like the way you answer that.

  538. You don't wake up one morning, you're an overcomer.

  539. Overcoming is an everyday process.

  540. You keep overcoming until you become a complete overcomer.

  541. Let's read some of these wonderful truths.

  542. The thing that has been is that which so you can tell the future by looking at the past.

  543. That's what he's telling you.

  544. And that which is done is that which what?

  545. And there is no new thing under the sun.

  546. He's talking about the nature of people, the path people travel.

  547. There's nothing new about that.

  548. Our past is new, our forms is new, but humanity is the same.

  549. It doesn't change.

  550. You have those who learn to endure hardness as good soldiers, and you have those who sell out.

  551. They complain, they quit.

  552. And a quitter never blame themselves.

  553. It's always someone else's fault.

  554. Some people blame it on the pigmentation of their skin.

  555. Listen, sir, ma'am, the pigmentation of my skin has nothing to do with whether or not I'm an overcomer.

  556. Or somebody's mistreating me.

  557. It's not what someone does to me, it's how I respond to it.

  558. It's the same for you.

  559. It's not what you go through, is can you go through without whining and complaining and mummering and pity parting?

  560. God detests that, and this is the minister's job is to teach you to love what God loves and hate what God hates.

  561. God hates mummer and complaining, He hates whining.

  562. He hates sowing seeds of discord.

  563. Where do you get that from?

  564. Get it out of the Bible.

  565. Everything I say, I'm gonna give it to you out of the Bible.

  566. Give me that.

  567. That's Proverbs chapter 6, verse 16.

    Proverbs 6:16

  568. These six things the Lord hate.

  569. So some things God hates.

  570. Yea.

  571. Yea means yes.

  572. Seven is an abomination to him.

  573. So there's things God hates, and there's things that's even worse than hating, things that abomination.

  574. The word abomination means that which is detestable.

  575. God give us grace.

  576. You're in the dispensation of grace.

  577. Why would I fail?

  578. God is giving me mercy.

  579. Why would I take the mercy of God for vain?

  580. Come on, these six things do the Lord what?

  581. Come on.

  582. I mean you say it does what?

  583. Hate.

  584. Yea, seven.

  585. He didn't say the seventh, like it's the last one.

  586. Seven means when you have all of them, then that's an abomination to him.

  587. That's someone woolly given over to abominable practices.

  588. That's when the Lord pulls the shades down on the individual and leaves them to themselves.

  589. I won't enumerate them, but maybe we should, verse 17, because it says the same thing.

  590. A proud look.

  591. A proud look is that's like someone who dressed nice and cares about their presentation of themselves.

  592. A proud look is when you can't humble yourself and say I was wrong.

  593. When you can't say I'm sorry.

  594. That's called a proud look.

  595. I'm quick to say I'm sorry.

  596. I practice saying I'm sorry.

  597. I say I'm sorry sometimes when I'm not even wrong.

  598. Why do you say it then, Brother Brown?

  599. Because I'm sorry you think I'm wrong.

  600. I don't think I'm wrong, but you do.

  601. I was talking to Sister Turner this morning.

  602. She made some statement.

  603. I forgot what it was.

  604. And uh I said, no, if I say it to you, it's right, say I don't know about that.

  605. I say I do because it's either gonna be Bible or it's gonna be carefully considered before I say it.

  606. Sometimes I'm wrong, but it's not that often.

  607. I've lived long enough not to speak before I think.

  608. A proud look and a lion tongue.

  609. You know what a lion tongue is?

  610. The Bible calls it double tongue in the New Testament, that's what Paul calls it.

  611. A lion tongue is when I speak well to you, but I speak evil about you.

  612. That's a lion tongue.

  613. You're deceiving me.

  614. Thank God Christ saving us from those attributes.

  615. And then hands that sheds innocent blood.

  616. That's not talking about my five fingers.

  617. Your hand is what you use to exhibit your will.

  618. Like I want to comb my hair, I want to eat, I use my hand to manifest that.

  619. And so if I want to kill you, your influence, if I want someone not to like you, my mouth becomes my hand.

  620. And I say bad things about you and you can't even defend yourself.

  621. I drop cracker trike eggs or what Isaiah calls them cracker trike eggs.

  622. Just say things.

  623. It's negativity.

  624. I'm killing you without using a sword.

  625. I use my words.

  626. What do you get?

  627. I get it from the Bible.

  628. And a person like that, I'm saying this because I know you're not that, but I'm I won't adhere to the positive.

  629. But if you look at your car, if you try to start your car and your battery's got two positives, it won't start.

  630. You need negative and positive to give you the current.

  631. So I have to talk about the negative to talk about the positive.

  632. Otherwise, your motor won't run.

  633. You got to see the negative, then you have to see the positive.

  634. You have to flee the evil and choose the good.

  635. So I have to tell you what the evil is.

  636. And anyone who's doing these things, say, God have mercy upon me.

  637. And so all of this, go through these things real quickly.

  638. Squeeze your hand.

  639. Just take one hand.

  640. Can you feel that in that?

  641. It's a bone in there.

  642. Squeeze your arm, your forearm.

  643. Do you feel it?

  644. That's a bone.

  645. Your shoulders.

  646. Feel it.

  647. Every part of your body has a bone in it.

  648. Except for one part.

  649. That tongue.

  650. 100% flush.

  651. It's not a bone in it.

  652. Bite on it.

  653. Don't bite it too hard, you're gonna holler.

  654. But go ahead.

  655. Test, it's not a bone in it.

  656. That tongue is a hundred percent flush.

  657. And if you don't let the Lord help you to govern it.

  658. Paul says it's set on fire.

  659. It's set on fire of hell.

  660. Now James said, give me the James 3, I'm gone over.

  661. I'm gonna bring it back.

  662. I want you to see the negativity.

  663. And that tongue, the same one that can be used for destruction, is the same one that can bring forth life.

  664. Paul says, I'm sorry, James says, out of the same fountain should not come forth sweet and bitter water.

  665. And so we choose whether my tongue is gonna be a fountain of life or a fountain of death.

  666. What do I say?

  667. Am I negative?

  668. Do I plant negative seeds?

  669. Am I whining?

  670. Am I complaining?

  671. That's justifying my carnality.

  672. Do a fountain send forth at the same place?

  673. That's your mouth.

  674. Sweet, water, and bitter.

  675. No, I choose the sweet.

  676. I want to minister grace to the hearers.

  677. I want to be a blessing to people.

  678. I don't want to pull you aside and sow little cockatrike eggs.

  679. I don't want to complain.

  680. I want to be negative.

  681. The problem with me speaking, nobody hears me more than me, and nobody hears you more than you.

  682. You hear what you're saying.

  683. You're sowing seeds in your own fertile ground.

  684. Why am I getting on this?

  685. I guess I have to let me let me finish this first.

  686. The good is coming.

  687. Hold your seats.

  688. But you have to see the negative.

  689. Do you not have two hands?

  690. You got a right and a left.

  691. And it shows you two different ways.

  692. There's one side to be left, and there's another side which is righteous.

  693. Okay, let's go.

  694. Go back a little bit.

  695. Say, even so the tongue is set afire.

  696. Go back to verse 4, 5.

  697. I want you to get this real quick before we move forward.

  698. I want to button this down.

  699. Even so, the illustration he's showing you previous to that, he's showing you how a little bit of member can boast of great things.

  700. That a great ship is controlled by a little bit in him.

  701. Think about it.

  702. As big as an ox or a horse is, you put a bit in his mouth and you control him.

  703. Then that's what he means by even so, just like the illustration he just gave you, even so the tongue is a little member.

  704. Think about your arms and your hands, your feet, all of them are larger than your tongues.

  705. But none of them can do as much evil as your tongue can.

  706. None can.

  707. Not my hands, not my feet, not my fist, not my leg.

  708. The most dangerous part of my body is my tongue.

  709. I minister in life, I can minister death.

  710. Both to me and the ones who hear me.

  711. Let's keep reading.

  712. Even so the tongue is a little member and boast is what?

  713. Great thing.

  714. Boasting great things mean it can accomplish an amazing amount.

  715. Behold, give you a natural illustration.

  716. How great a matter a little fire kindle means burn.

  717. You take a little match, you can burn down a whole forest.

  718. A little match, you can burn a whole house down.

  719. Just a little match.

  720. That's the way the tongue is.

  721. Watch, verse 6.

  722. And the tongue is a what?

  723. The tongue is a what?

  724. And it is a world.

  725. Say it right of iniquity.

  726. Let's try it again.

  727. It is a what?

  728. World of iniquity.

  729. All kinds of unrighteousness.

  730. All kinds of destruction and grief and sorrow and anguish.

  731. I love people.

  732. I love even negative people, but I love them from a distance.

  733. I don't say around negativity.

  734. You'll sap all the life out of me.

  735. I don't see my precious sister.

  736. She's not like that anymore.

  737. Years ago, Sister Michelle, wonderful sister, but she was going through a harbor span in her life.

  738. And she'll be on the farm talking to her.

  739. And she'll make a statement.

  740. Boom.

  741. Call me back.

  742. Brother Brown, you hung up on me intentionally.

  743. You hung up on me with my face.

  744. I know it.

  745. That's rude.

  746. No, that's polite.

  747. Conversation, you go too far, conversation over.

  748. I can't talk to you.

  749. I did it till she learned we can talk.

  750. But we don't whine.

  751. We don't backbite.

  752. We don't whisper.

  753. We don't gospel.

  754. Conversation over.

  755. Because you don't look at them, you think they're cruel.

  756. That saved her soul.

  757. And when she when she overcame that mouth and stopped talking, it saved her life.

  758. She gave up a pistol.

  759. No, you you too native to have a pistol.

  760. You're gonna hurt somebody.

  761. Give me the pistol.

  762. Only thing you get my pistol.

  763. No.

  764. When you minister life, I give your pistol back.

  765. You keep saying what, you keep saying things, you hear what you're saying, you're gonna actually hurt somebody.

  766. I want you to talk about, I want to mess with, I might be, I ain't suicidal, I'm homicidal.

  767. Give me the pistol.

  768. You keep telling yourself you're homicidal, you're gonna shoot somebody.

  769. Give me the pistol.

  770. Life and death is where?

  771. It's in the power of the tongue.

  772. Use it for good, not for evil.

  773. And that tongue is, let's keep reading.

  774. I'll tell you what it is.

  775. It's so is the tongue.

  776. So world of iniquity, so is the tongue among our members.

  777. All your members, that tongue is the one you have to guard the most.

  778. That it defiles the what?

  779. The whole body.

  780. Jesus said, if your eye offends you, he said if your hand offends you, if your foot offend you, he don't change you to the tongue, though.

  781. No, he didn't tell you that.

  782. No, what you gotta do with that tongue.

  783. You gotta ask God to help you to tame it.

  784. Let's keep reading.

  785. Watch this.

  786. And it set on fire the course of nature and is what?

  787. So every time I'm speaking negativity, my tongue has been set on fire of hell.

  788. Every time I'm complaining and I'm whining, my tongue has been set on fire of hell.

  789. I'm ministering death to me, and I'm the hearer.

  790. And someone else, if they can hear what I'm saying.

  791. Look at your neighbor and say, neighbor, for the rest of this year.

  792. I'm committed to God to speak no evil.

  793. Is that all right, saints of God?

  794. This is how you get life.

  795. This is how you get life.

  796. Overcome negativity.

  797. Yes, sir.

  798. Use your mic.

  799. Use your mic.

  800. Help us, Lord.

  801. But you want to be overcomers.

  802. This is how you overcome.

  803. Overcome is someone who faces obstacles and they prevail.

  804. If you fall down, you get back up.

  805. The righteous fall what?

  806. But what's the key?

  807. That's what the Bible.

  808. You rise again.

  809. I won't talk about me, I'm not that important.

  810. But I gave you my testimony.

  811. When the Lord saved me in 1985, my mother cursed like a cellar.

  812. My uncles cursed.

  813. All my friends cursed.

  814. I've been on construction sites, so cursing was second nature to me.

  815. I couldn't curse good to my mother.

  816. She could rhyme when she cursed.

  817. Or she cursed to make you like it.

  818. You don't know what she said, but it still sounds good.

  819. Here's the point.

  820. So cursing was natural to me.

  821. I'm 25 years old, been cursing since I was 15.

  822. Refined it.

  823. I got it down good.

  824. And when the Lord saved me, He cleaned my life up.

  825. I stopped chasing.

  826. I stopped drinking.

  827. I stopped smoking herbs.

  828. But cursing.

  829. Filtered speech was still in my mouth.

  830. I used to cry as God is my witness.

  831. Lord, I know you saved me.

  832. Why am I still talking like this?

  833. I couldn't stop it.

  834. I couldn't overcome it.

  835. It slipped.

  836. Then I made a commitment.

  837. I saw what my problem was.

  838. It didn't grieve me enough.

  839. I was sorry, but not sorry enough.

  840. So what I told the Lord, every time I use profanity or foul speech, I'm not going to tell you I'm sorry.

  841. I'm going to say it out loud.

  842. And I'm going to say it to the person who I cursed in front of.

  843. You know what happened?

  844. They kept sipping out of my mouth and saying, Oh, God forgive me.

  845. The person looked at me.

  846. Sometimes I'm upset, I'm cursing the person.

  847. I got to turn around and say, God forgive me.

  848. They start looking at me and say, You okay?

  849. It broke me because I didn't want to repent openly.

  850. It cost me more than I want to pay.

  851. For weeks, I'm Lord forgive me.

  852. Every time I'm talking to somebody, Lord, forgive me.

  853. Sometimes I'm not even meaning anything bad, it just slipped out of my mouth.

  854. God forgive me, I'm sorry.

  855. Say, what did you say?

  856. I told the Lord when I used this filthy language I was gonna repent.

  857. They looked at me like I lost my mind, but you know it wasn't long before profanity didn't come out of my mouth.

  858. You can't make me curse.

  859. You can don't do it, but you can drop a ton of pound on my toe.

  860. I'm not gonna curse.

  861. It don't come out of me.

  862. You can smack me, slap.

  863. Don't do it though.

  864. But I won't curse.

  865. And so how did God save you from that?

  866. Because I was willing to give God that which cost me something.

  867. It was degrading and humiliating.

  868. Because that tongue was causing me too much problem.

  869. Too much problem.

  870. Let's finish reading.

  871. I don't get stuck on the tongue.

  872. But it's the same way it can be used for evil, it's the same way it can be used for good.

  873. The same way that tongue can curse men, it can bless men.

  874. You can speak words of life and encouragement.

  875. Words that edify and build up, and don't say it to your best friend, say it to your worst enemy.

  876. Oh, absolutely.

  877. Somebody you don't like.

  878. Say, God bless you today.

  879. I pray you have a good day.

  880. Try it.

  881. How many want to be an overcomer?

  882. This is how you do it.

  883. You can't offer Lord that which causes you.

  884. It's called a lane.

  885. It's got to cost you something.

  886. If you really want to overcome it and you want to do it quick, I'll tell you how.

  887. Do it with the person you live with.

  888. Do it to your spouse.

  889. Do it to your parents.

  890. Speak words to them positive all the time.

  891. Even when they get on your last nerve.

  892. Say, God bless your soul.

  893. Your wife is not here today.

  894. That's your misser.

  895. God bless your soul.

  896. I wouldn't even say, boy, she's trying to, she's trying to tell me something about me.

  897. Oh, but God, thank you, Lord.

  898. We can choose.

  899. I get to choose if I want to be a God-fearing, upright spiritual person, or do I want to be fleshly and corner, whine, complaint, negative?

  900. I get to choose.

  901. And the best thing, you love your brother, love your sister, love your mother, your father, your cousin.

  902. Speak the truth to them.

  903. You're too negative.

  904. Change your attitude.

  905. Why are you living like that?

  906. It sets on fire the course of nature and it is set on fire of.

  907. Now let's go back.

  908. I need to finish this old because the time is getting away.

  909. I wanted to finish this in the old covenant since I'm here.

  910. Put us on the right track, Brother Mike.

  911. How we can minister life to the hearers.

  912. I'm hearing every word come out of my mouth.

  913. I'll give you an example.

  914. Since he, I'll pick on the stand-up, Brother D.

  915. This is an interesting young guy.

  916. I know he has problems, challenges, because he's a young man.

  917. Everybody has challenges.

  918. And I don't talk to him much as I used to because he's married and he's got a baby on the way.

  919. And uh he got responsibilities of life.

  920. But you'll never hear D.

  921. Bell talk negative.

  922. Oh, Jay, you talk to him more than me.

  923. Have you ever catch him?

  924. If it's some adversity he's dealing with life, he's gonna mention and move on.

  925. What did you learn that from, sir?

  926. I met you like that.

  927. I know, I'm gonna tell you where you got it.

  928. Not from your daddy.

  929. Yeah.

  930. He beat the negativity out of you.

  931. Am I right or wrong?

  932. Yes, sir.

  933. I know stories I shouldn't even tell you because you don't supposed to know I know them.

  934. You come home whining.

  935. And your and your dad, he's always sober, marine person.

  936. He said, uh, Brother D, you just determined to ruin my day today.

  937. You just you just you just intended to make my day miserable today.

  938. Is that what he used to tell you?

  939. Yes, sir.

  940. Don't tell him I told on you.

  941. He didn't want to hear that.

  942. Hundred push-ups.

  943. Am I right or wrong?

  944. Yes, sir.

  945. Put your arms out, put something, hold your arm until I get tired.

  946. He didn't tolerate negativity.

  947. Now look at you.

  948. You're a young man on your own.

  949. And now you don't think that way, you don't talk that way.

  950. And I don't know what sister Unis probably know what she was married when she married him.

  951. But he don't do negativity.

  952. I'm sure you learned that real quick.

  953. You're blessed.

  954. You're a blessed woman, and your child is gonna be blessed.

  955. All because of a man whose father took a stand in the house.

  956. So that's before I get negative on you.

  957. Listen, the Bible put it like this a man shall eat the good by the fruit of his mouth.

  958. Put these scriptures.

  959. I'm not just talking.

  960. When you minister grace, you receive it.

  961. When you're speaking, you're sowing.

  962. And what you sow is what you're gonna reap.

  963. Be not deceived, God is not marked.

  964. Whatever a man sowed, that shall he reap.

  965. If you sow positive, you're gonna reap positive.

  966. You get the chance to choose.

  967. A man shall, I hadn't thought about the scripture in I don't know when, years.

  968. No, go back to the other one.

  969. I like the previous one.

  970. This is a golden nuggets.

  971. A man, that's that's not the gender male, that's mankind.

  972. When the Bible says man is often talking about the species, not the gender.

  973. A man, that's man, a woman, boy, or girl, shall eat good by the what?

  974. I can't hear you by the what?

  975. Fruit of his mouth.

  976. Minister grace, minister life, minister encouragement.

  977. Whenever you're talking about something that has challenges, that's negative, what is a solution?

  978. I shouldn't tell you that.

  979. That's one way I gauge people.

  980. When they tell me what's wrong, do they have a possible solution?

  981. But if all you do is tell me what's wrong and you don't have any possible solution, you're a whiner.

  982. I hear problems all the time.

  983. You're a minister, you can't help but hear a problem.

  984. What is a possible solution?

  985. What do you think we should do?

  986. We may not do it, but what do you think we should do?

  987. That tells me you're at least thinking about it and not just complaining about it.

  988. That's one of the problems you see in politics.

  989. Everybody bashing.

  990. Come up with solutions.

  991. I say, come up with solutions.

  992. That's the difference between whining and showing concern.

  993. Let me finish the scripture.

  994. I love this.

  995. A man, I like to be.

  996. Hey, I don't like to be.

  997. A man shall eat good by the what?

  998. But the soul of the transgressor, transgressing against the laws of sowing and reaping with your mouth.

  999. You're gonna eat violence, turmoil, torture.

1000. Whatever comes out of your mouth, words, is my dear brother Fry.

  1001. God bless you, sir.

  1002. That's a dear friend of mine.

1003. He was my barber for years.

1004. Tell I learned to cut my own hair.

1005. I'm gonna put him out of business.

  1006. Here's the point, sir.

  1007. Ma'am.

1008. These are golden nuggets whereby a person can live every day.

  1009. Practice this.

1010. Spend your whole week, just take a week at a time.

1011. No, take a day at a time if you haven't done it.

1012. To speak nothing but good.

1013. There is issues, but not without possible solution.

1014. And watch how your life changes.

  1015. It changes your perspective.

1016. Your tests and your trials don't dissipate, but how I look at them dissipates.

  1017. It changes.

1018. That's called now you're that's called sowing and reaping.

1019. Be not deceived, God is not marked.

1020. Whatever a man soweth, then shall he also reap.

1021. If you're sowing good, if you're sowing good, and you're sowing good, what are you gonna reap?

1022. Out there in the world they call it karma.

1023. I don't know about no karma, I know about the Bible, though.

1024. In religion, they call it the power of positive thinking.

1025. I don't know about no power of positive thinking, but I do know about the power of godly thinking, biblical thinking, and it's sowing and reaping.

1026. Words coming out of your mouth is like seeds.

  1027. And that's what you're sowing.

1028. And you're going to reap that kind of harvest.

1029. But there's another kind of sowing.

1030. You can sow to the wind, pull it up, and reap the whirlwind.

1031. That is just complain and whine until it gets into my spirit.

1032. And every aspect of life becomes a great challenge.

1033. I wake up looking for some negativity.

1034. What bad thing is gonna happen today?

1035. Oh, I'm really going it through.

1036. Oh, you ever heard this?

1037. The devil's after me today.

1038. Well, turn around and beat him up.

1039. If you feel like something's on your trail, that's turn around and face him.

1040. When he hear you complaining, you give him an upper hand.

1041. So you can soar to the wind and weep the what?

1042. It comes back and multiple testimony.

  1043. You know why?

1044. Because I'm looking at every little chest, every little challenge, Brother Michael, has been magnified.

1045. God didn't call us here to be overcame.

1046. He called us to be overcomers.

1047. The whole purpose with which the Lord brought you to the kingdom of Christ, the kingdom of God is to be an overcomer.

1048. Every trial, every test, every affliction.

1049. And when I miss the mark, thank God I get a chance to get back up and do it again.

1050. It's the way you think.

1051. Again, as a man thinking in his heart, if you think you are a victim, guess what you are?

1052. But if you think you're an overcomer, every challenge is another opportunity to overcome.

1053. Every test is another opportunity to overcome.

1054. I'm building up my muscles.

  1055. Hallelujah.

1056. And this is going to make up the bride of Christ that's got 144,000 links, and no chain is any stronger than the weakest link.

1057. That bride of Christ will not have one weak link.

1058. It's not one person who's going to fail, falter, be negative, bag up.

  1059. Not a one.

1060. So we're being tried and tested now to find out whether that I can fit on that chain.

1061. Are you with me, people of God?

  1062. Give me my Bible.

  1063. I need a Bible.

1064. I'm going to bring this to a close, but I appreciate the tenure of the meeting.

1065. Appreciate what the Lord is putting us on.

1066. Somebody need to hear this.

1067. When you walk out the, it's easy in here because everybody of like precious faith.

1068. When you walk out those doors, that's a real world waiting on you.

1069. When I say real, I mean real mean.

  1070. But so what?

1071. Great as he is that's in you.

1072. I'm gonna say it again.

1073. There's nothing that you gonna face that you and Christ can't overcome.

  1074. Not a thing.

1075. Great peace have they which and nothing.

  1076. Nothing.

1077. Offend there means to stumble.

1078. Jesus said, He put it like this it's better for you that a millstone was hung around your neck and you was catching the depths of the sea rather than you would offend one of these little ones.

1079. Don't mean hurt their feelings, it means cause them to stumble or to lose out with God.

1080. And so when he says, Nothing shall offend you, nothing's gonna cause you to miss out with God but you.

1081. Jesus said, All that the Father's given me is in my hand, and no man can pluck them out.

1082. The only thing can get you out of Christ's hand is you.

1083. And it's as you think in your heart.

1084. No one just wakes up one morning and miss out with God.

  1085. That's a progressive process.

1086. It starts off with what you think, and then with what you say.

1087. So let us help us.

  1088. Go to 2 Corinthians.

1089. There's plenty of passages, but I think I'll start with this one.

1090. No, I didn't finish my first one.

1091. Go back to Proverbs chapter 6, real quick.

    Proverbs 6 chapter mention

  1092. Why y'all didn't remind me?

1093. Don't let me get away.

1094. I don't know about you, but when I walk out these doors today, I'm more determined to be an overcomer than I was when I came in.

  1095. I really am.

1096. That's because as I'm ministering to you, I'm ministering to me.

1097. I hear what I'm saying, and I believe what I'm saying, I'm gonna keep saying it.

1098. And that's why when you're testifying to others, you're building up your own faith.

1099. Because you hear what you're saying to other people.

1100. This is the beauty of sowing and reaping, Sister Janita.

1101. When I'm sowing into you, I'm reaping the benefits of what I'm hearing me say to you.

1102. So you can't minister life to others and not reap the benefits.

  1103. Um, Proverbs chapter 6.

    Proverbs 6 chapter mention

  1104. Go back to this.

1105. Let me finish this first and pick up the pace.

1106. What verse do I want?

  1107. Verse 18.

  1108. Verse 18.

1109. Let's go through these real quick because I want you to stay away from this.

  1110. 18.

  1111. Yes, thank you.

1112. This is the thing God hates, a heart that divides it.

1113. Look at this key here.

  1114. Wicked imagination.

1115. You that's called in the New Testament, it's called evil surmising.

1116. A wicked imagination is you trying to describe what's somebody else's motive and intent.

1117. Oh, they're just doing that because they want to do this.

  1118. How do you know?

  1119. That's called evil surmising.

  1120. I don't know your motive.

  1121. I don't know your intent.

1122. I surmise it to be that.

  1123. That's called a wicked, what's the word?

  1124. Imagination.

1125. And then feet that want to go tell it.

  1126. That's what he's saying.

1127. Feet that be swift to run to what?

1128. You want to give somebody else your hell elation.

1129. I mean, you're trying to say revelation.

  1130. No, it's a hell elation.

1131. If it comes from hell, it's a hell elation.

1132. And if I want to tell someone that, those are feet that are swift to run to mischief, or false witnesses.

1133. Look how you're beating on that tongue.

1134. A false witness that what you testifying to something that's not even reality.

1135. That's something that you believe, or something that you can conquer, you conquered in your mind.

1136. Look at your neighbor and say, neighbor, pray God have mercy on me.

1137. But thank God is what He's saving us from, isn't it?

1138. Out of the names of six, here's the seven.

1139. He that sow it, discord.

1140. With my words, setting brothers at variance, causing division in people's unity together.

1141. Repeating something that I think is true.

1142. I'm evil surmising, or something I imagine in my heart.

1143. You know you imagine you're telling somebody, you're telling someone someone else is motive.

1144. How do you know they're motive?

  1145. That's surmising.

  1146. That's a wicked imagination.

1147. Oh, but thank God the opposite of that is just as truth.

1148. I say the opposite is just as truth.

1149. That tongue can minister life.

1150. It can minister the encouragement.

1151. And when I'm doing that, I'll give you scripture.

  1152. Give it for me.

  1153. Proverbs chapter 11.

    Proverbs 11 chapter mention

  1154. What verse is that?

1155. He that water health shall himself also be what?

  1156. Be watered.

1157. And water means to refresh.

1158. If I refresh you and build you up and encourage you in the things of God, I'm reaping the benefits of that.

1159. That's the laws of sowing and reaping.

1160. I think he says that in Genesis, as long as the earth remains, there shall be summer and winter, see uh seed time and harvest time.

1161. And so when you speak and you sowing.

1162. And it builds you up in your most holy faith.

  1163. What's 25?

  1164. Oh, 1125.

  1165. I forgot my thought.

1166. Let's read these wonderful truths.

1167. So God gives you and I, in the kingdom of God, a blank check.

1168. You get a chance to write what you want on your check.

1169. If you want mercy, so mercy.

1170. If you want joy, so joy.

  1171. Blank check.

1172. If you want peace, try to bring peace.

1173. Blessed are the peace, make it shall be called uh set brothers at peace at one another.

1174. Of course, we don't have that here, but this many people, always somebody will miss you.

  1175. Always somebody.

  1176. How do you know?

1177. Because I read the Bible.

1178. There was a day when the sons of God came and presented themselves before the Lord.

  1179. What happened?

  1180. Thank you.

1181. I love the word of God.

  1182. It's a safety, isn't it?

  1183. Well, sure it is.

1184. This many people, somebody doing something, they have no business.

1185. I'm not mad at you.

  1186. Get it right.

  1187. Okay.

1188. The liberal, you know what liberal is?

1189. A liberal is someone who's uh bountiful with sharing.

1190. Whether it's truth, whether it's understanding, whether it's substance, the liberal soul shall be made fat.

1191. You're trying to share the blessings, you're trying to share the understanding, you're trying to share the peace, the joy, the love, the long-suffering, the meekness, the temperance.

1192. Against such there is no law.

1193. You're trying to share that.

  1194. That's called a liberal soul.

1195. You're trying to give it away.

1196. People wanted to ask me, say, why do you play so much?

  1197. I'm happy.

1198. My wife tells my time, you play too much.

1199. I don't bother, but you know what I'd be saying, don't you?

  1200. This joy I have.

1201. You didn't give it to me.

1202. If you didn't give it, you still can't take it away.

  1203. I'm sorry, baby.

1204. How many of you love life?

  1205. I wouldn't want to live a life I couldn't laugh.

1206. What do you get that from?

1207. I'll get it from the Bible.

1208. The Bible said a merry heart does a soul good.

  1209. It's like medicine.

1210. Laughter is good for the soul.

1211. I don't mean being silly, but laughter.

1212. And they say, well, I don't trust him.

  1213. We play too much.

1214. I don't play with you with that old bad spirit you got.

1215. Only play with people I trust.

1216. I play with people I have confidence in.

1217. You don't give the adversary an occasion to speak reproachfully against you.

1218. I know when to be sober and I know when to be comfortable.

1219. I'm coming around my family.

1220. By the way, you are my family.

1221. I have uh uncles, I have brothers, hey brother, I have uh aunts and I have nieces and nephews.

  1222. That's my natural family.

1223. And I love them as a natural family.

1224. But once Sister Grace and I, we're husband and wife, been married for almost 50 years.

  1225. That's a long time.

  1226. Almost 50 years.

  1227. Boy, isn't she blessed?

1228. God's been good to her.

1229. But I reap the benefits.

1230. That's the world got that much sense.

  1231. Yeah.

  1232. Where was I going?

  1233. I'm about to make a statement.

1234. It was it was profound too.

1235. See, you must somebody must not be worthy.

  1236. I I had a serious thought.

1237. That's why the Bible tells you, put away Joshua, which is not convenient.

  1238. Too much play.

1239. But I want you to get this though, dear people of God.

1240. He that water it, when you refresh other people, it's the law of sowing and reaping.

1241. He shall also, or shall be watered also himself.

1242. Edify people, build them up, reward them good for evil.

  1243. Be a blessing.

1244. You say they're not worthy.

  1245. It's not that they're worthy.

1246. That's someone with the breath of life in them.

1247. They got enough of God's breath that they have moving life.

1248. And so if you bless them, God will bless you.

1249. That's just simple principles of life.

1250. And you can do it with not with stuff and things and gold and silver, you can do it with your mouth.

1251. You can let your mouth be a fountain of life, a fountain of water.

1252. Isn't that right, Brother Fry?

1253. Brother Fry is a very positive person.

  1254. Well, you surrender gym.

1255. He, I, and Brother Michael.

1256. Uh, and some other brother.

1257. But Mike, remember Brother Fry?

1258. You shoot your eyes out anywhere on the basketball court.

1259. Well, I hated him for that.

1260. Because he would turn around and smile.

1261. You said that you slap me now, like you're trying to block the ball.

1262. Pam! He said, It's all right, brother.

1263. You ain't did no huh.

1264. Ball go through the basket.

  1265. That's why he's saying that.

1266. Brother gave me nightmares, many nights.

1267. I quit renting the gym.

1268. We ain't playing no more.

1269. Let me give you these scripts.

1270. I want you to consider this.

1271. If you watered, you shall be watered also yourselves.

  1272. Just practice doing good.

  1273. Give me this Psalms.

1274. He that loves life, let him keep his.

  1275. Yeah, that's that's Psalms 26.

  1276. I can't get it.

1277. I'll pull it up for a minute.

1278. I want to nail this down because when you walk out here today, I want you to practice this.

1279. And the best place to practice is at home with the people you live with.

1280. You know why it's so hard to do this at home?

1281. Because that person spends more time with you.

1282. And it humbles you to turn around and tell them good things when they've irritated you.

1283. And you have to be an overcomer.

1284. So overcome evil with what?

  1285. I can't hear you.

1286. Overcome evil with Brother Daniel, your mouth is shut.

  1287. You didn't say a word.

  1288. Overcome evil with.

1289. Don't reward evil for evil.

  1290. That's what it means.

1291. But overcome evil with this is practicing overcoming.

  1292. Here it is.

1293. For he is, oh no, he's quoting Psalms.

1294. I want it in Psalms.

  1295. Psalms 34.

1296. When you read the New Testament, it's oftentimes quoting scripts from the Old Testament.

1297. Go back to the original writing, you'll see the context.

  1298. 34, Psalms 34.

1299. Go back one more verse.

  1300. Verse 12.

1301. I'm so sorry, forgive me.

1302. I should have made it pulled this up.

1303. What man, that's mankind, is he that desireth life?

1304. Life is not breathing only.

  1305. That's not life, that's existence.

1306. Life is love, joy, peace, long suffering, meekness, temperance.

1307. That's life, the fruit of the Spirit.

1308. Listen, what man is he that loveth life and loved many days?

1309. You want to live a long, healthy life, that he may see good.

1310. Those are good questions, and now he's going to answer it.

  1311. Keep thy what?

  1312. I can't hear you.

  1313. Keep thy what?

  1314. From doing what?

  1315. From evil.

1316. And thy lips from speaking deceit.

  1317. Deceit, Gal is deceit.

1318. This is a simpler formula.

  1319. Read the next verse.

  1320. Depart from what?

1321. From evil, whispering, mumming, being negative.

  1322. And do good.

1323. How do you do good with your mouth?

  1324. Say positive things.

  1325. Compliment people.

  1326. Build them up.

1327. Find, don't lie to them.

1328. Don't find somebody that can say you should pretty.

1329. Look at them and say, God bless you.

  1330. I understand your trials.

  1331. I'm in joke.

  1332. You can find something.

1333. You can say, boy, those are nice shoes you got on.

1334. You can find something to say good in every situation.

1335. I looked at people, I'm gonna be honest with you, look them right in the face, and your eyes show is white.

  1336. That's all I can say.

1337. You can find good if you're looking for it.

  1338. Anybody can criticize.

  1339. Speak good.

  1340. Let's keep reading.

1341. Seek peace and do what?

  1342. Pursue it.

  1343. One more verse.

1344. Oh God, thank you, Lord.

  1345. These are truths.

  1346. Verse 15.

1347. The eyes of the Lord is upon the.

1348. You know what a righteous is.

  1349. First, what's that?

1350. 1 John, he said, He that doeth righteousness is righteous.

1351. It's just doing the word of God.

1352. Not because you feel it, because it's Bible.

  1353. It's principles that works.

1354. When you surround yourself with these truths and you put this under your fifth rib in your heart, every day, even if it's a trying day, is still a good day.

1355. Because you look, you look to look for good in everything.

1356. This is why Paul makes a statement.

  1357. In everything, give thanks.

1358. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1359. In everything, I can find something to be thankful for.

1360. I don't care how bad, bad it is, it can always be worse.

  1361. So thank you, Lord.

1362. Thank you for your mercy.

1363. Thank you, it's no worse than what it is.

1364. Thank you, Lord, for your goodness.

1365. To let me see it and to let me speak it.

  1366. Hallelujah.

1367. This is an overcoming life.

1368. Every trial, every test, every affliction, every grief, every sorrow.

1369. People cry, cry, cry about death.

1370. I've been surrounded with death.

1371. But it's good, even in death, at least the person doesn't have to suffer no more.

1372. Thank you, Lord, they release from the pain.

1373. You can find good in everything if you train yourself to look for it.

1374. That's what he enable you to overcome.

1375. And all the promises God is yay, yay, and in him.

  1376. Amen.

1377. He watches over, he hasten his word to perform it.

1378. Nothing goes out of God's mouth, returns to him void.

  1379. Nothing.

1380. He said, uh God is not a man.

  1381. What is it?

  1382. Numbers 23.

1383. God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent.

1384. Has he spoken, shall he not do it?

1385. Have he said it, shall he not make it good?

  1386. That's his record.

  1387. God has a record.

1388. Whatever he says, he brings it to pass.

1389. So he gives you the power to speak life and speak different to your own life.

1390. He gives you that power.

1391. Your mouth is a blank check.

1392. It's how you use it.

  1393. Use it.

1394. Yes, I got trial, but thank God I got an answer.

  1395. Answer's in Christ.

1396. All these promises of God, all of them, is to the overcomers.

1397. Let's go to Revelation chapter 2, real quick.

    Revelation 2 chapter mention

1398. I'm gonna go up and say these few words and let you go.

1399. He writes to the seven churches of Asia, seven dispensations of the church movements.

1400. But to each one of the churches, brother, he didn't talk to the congregation.

1401. You think he did, but he didn't.

1402. In each one of the churches, he talks to the overcomers.

1403. There's a lot of people sitting here, but everybody may not be serious about overcoming.

1404. But all the promise of God is to the overcomers.

1405. So if I'm not overcoming, I'm happy for you, Sister Janita.

1406. I'm happy for you, Brother Ricky.

1407. I'm glad you guys have these promises.

1408. But if I'm not overcoming, he's not talking to me until I begin to overcome.

1409. Overcome negativity, overcome whispering, murmuring, doubt, fear, unbelief.

  1410. Overcome self-defeat.

1411. You can call me a dog all day long.

  1412. But if I don't have a tile, a tail, if I'm not barking, I don't growl, I'm not a dog.

1413. So it doesn't matter what somebody says to you, that doesn't make it true.

1414. You determine what you're going to be.

1415. Are you with me, people of God?

1416. I'm going to be an overcomer.

  1417. What about you?

  1418. Thank you.

  1419. Everybody can't hear this.

  1420. This is Christ's words.

1421. But he that have a what?

1422. Ear, let him hear what uh this is what he's saying today.

1423. I can't tell you about tomorrow, but know what he's saying today.

1424. He's speaking to the overcomers.

1425. And to him that I can't hear you, to him that's trying.

1426. To him that's doing his best.

  1427. No.

  1428. Your best is overcome.

1429. Because he wouldn't tell you to do something you can't do.

1430. To him that overcome it will not give to either of the that's the word of God, which is in the midst of the paradise of God, is the favor of God.

1431. You can understand these good truths.

  1432. What's my next verse?

  1433. Look at this.

  1434. 11.

1435. Come on, let's pick this up real quick.

1436. I want you to give this.

1437. And so we're here not to be good citizens, good husbands, good fathers.

  1438. That's nice.

1439. If you begin to overcome it, you'll be all of those things over automatically.

1440. I don't care how bad the government does, you'll never see me walking around with no sign protesting.

1441. You'll never see me do that.

1442. I don't care how bad it is.

1443. I'm not saying I never thought about it, but that's a foolish thought.

  1444. That's the foolish thought.

1445. I don't care how bad the government is.

1446. You still in a part of this country, aren't you?

1447. If you feel that bad about it, you can go across the border.

1448. Just go across the border.

1449. Why the city didn't keep complaining?

  1450. It's bad, it's bad.

1451. Make the best of a bad situation.

1452. Nothing you're gonna say about the president or the governor gonna, he don't hear you no way, and gonna change his behavior.

1453. So you might as well be quiet.

1454. I read on the article board, and I'll tell you, it brewed me.

  1455. It did.

1456. Yeah, but my God, man.

  1457. I wouldn't know him, Brother Mike, but 75.

1458. Now you gotta give me a ticket.

1459. They turn down the capital and they're gonna give them the money.

  1460. Shut up, brother.

  1461. Bring your whining.

1462. Oh God bless us all.

  1463. Change my speech.

  1464. Quit whining, man.

  1465. Quit whining.

  1466. Verse 11.

1467. To him that, and I want you to get this.

1468. He's not talking to everybody in there.

1469. He's talking to them that have an ear.

1470. Everybody gets flaps on the side of the head, but do you have any ears to hear the voice of God?

1471. To him that have an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

  1472. What is he saying?

1473. To him that overcome it should what?

1474. Not be heard of the second death is the end of you.

1475. The promises to the overcomers.

1476. That's not instant and spontaneous, it's an everyday battle.

1477. Until there's nothing left, Paul said, the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.

1478. Until there's nothing left but Christ.

1479. He that have an ear, let him hear what the, he's gonna say it seven times, let him hear what the Spirit says to the what?

1480. To him that overcome it what I give to eat of the.

1481. Do you know what a hidden manner is?

  1482. This is the scriptures.

  1483. This is the Bible.

  1484. You can read this.

  1485. That's not hidden manner.

1486. When you understand what it means, that's called hidden manner.

1487. It's understanding what it means.

1488. We say if your eye fin, you pluck it out, don't take your, of course, nobody ever took it out of their socket anyway.

  1489. That's not what he's talking about.

1490. He's talking about the watchman for your soul.

1491. If you're in a minister that can't watch for your soul and can't see the things of God, then remove that and find one that can see for you.

1492. A hand is talking about a ministry.

1493. If it can't serve you the word of God, if it can't wash you and point you toward Christ, remove that hand.

1494. Get on a hand that can teach you, can break the bread of God down to you, help you to understand it.

1495. And then Peter says, 1 Peter's 5, humble yourself, therefore, under the minor hand of God as a righteous ministry.

1496. Not the left hand, the right hand.

1497. That's why Christ said, Don't let your left hand know what the right hand do.

1498. That's the ministry that's left behind, because you're not faithful to the things of God.

  1499. Let's keep reading.

  1500. So here we go.

1501. To him that overcome it, I will give to eat, that's called the hidden manner, and I will give him a white stone.

1502. A white stone is a celesteral body.

1503. And when he changes your vow, bodily fashion like unto his glorious body.

1504. And will give him, I'm sorry, and in that stone a new name.

1505. Do you know the name that you wear as temporary?

  1506. Do you know that?

1507. It's going to give you a new name, means a nature.

1508. Which no man knoweth save he that receive it.

  1509. Let's keep reading.

  1510. What's my next one?

  1511. 26.

  1512. Thank you.

  1513. Here we go again.

1514. To him that overcome it and keep it my words.

1515. The key is to the who?

  1516. Uh-uh.

1517. To him that overcome it.

1518. Each time the promises to him that overcome it.

  1519. That's the key.

1520. To him that overcome it and keep my works until the end of him I will give power over the nations.

1521. Let me wind it on up.

  1522. What's my next one?

  1523. Three and five.

1524. So when you walk up today, make your mind up you're going to be an overcomer.

  1525. And don't start tomorrow.

  1526. You start right now.

1527. Now it's the day of salvation.

1528. Now is your salvation nearer than when you first believe.

1529. Now faith is a substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen.

  1530. So it's not tomorrow.

  1531. That's procrastination.

  1532. It's now.

  1533. It's now.

  1534. Yes.

1535. And how do I start?

1536. Open your mouth and you bless anybody you run into.

  1537. Be a blessing.

  1538. Speak life.

  1539. Speak encouragement.

  1540. I call brother.

  1541. I shouldn't say it.

  1542. I can't help but say it.

1543. I call brother Lord Mr.

  1544. Clean.

  1545. Clean as home, chillings.

1546. Look, don't make a frown because they're cleaning from the inside out.

1547. They still chilling, but they be clean.

  1548. The point is this.

1549. You understand we're kind of old school together.

  1550. I'm connecting with people.

1551. I find ways to connect to you.

1552. I find ways to build relationships with you.

1553. Brother Lord and I haven't known them that long, but we're connected.

1554. I make sure we connect.

1555. I try to connect with everybody.

1556. Because Christ died for us all.

1557. What we do with this salvation is up to us.

  1558. I'm a people's person.

  1559. I love people.

  1560. I love people.

  1561. I can't stay around all people.

1562. But if you let me, if you don't whisper gospel backbite, if you don't disrespect the God that's in me, I love to be around people.

1563. I love to be around people.

  1564. People I know, people I don't know.

1565. I'm looking for good in everybody because I want God to see good in me through Christ.

1566. As I do unto others, that's what's going to be done to me.

1567. So I try to build up and bless and encourage and strengthen.

1568. And I find joy in it, brother.

1569. I find delight in it.

1570. The best day of my life is when I can be a blessing to God's people.

1571. I was making a statement earlier, and I'm going to try to wind this down.

1572. My wife, as long as she and us were married, almost 50 years.

  1573. That's a long time.

  1574. That's a very long time.

1575. We've had children, children have grown, and children are gone.

  1576. We're still together.

1577. But when we one of us die, whether it's her or me, we'll never ever be husband and wife again.

1578. This is a temporary relationship, as long as we're both on the earth.

1579. Christ said that he that is counted worthy of the resurrection in that world, neither marry nor given in marriage.

1580. But they're like unto the angels, neither can they die anymore.

1581. The only reason you have husband and wife and children is so to populate the earth.

1582. Because by reason of death, men will become distinct.

1583. But when you get immortality, there's no reason for reproduction.

1584. So there's no reason for these cornal relationships, the earthly relationships.

1585. That's hard for some people to grasp.

1586. So I'm gonna see my wife again.

1587. Yeah, but she won't be your wife.

1588. It won't be your child.

1589. And you should love the soul more than your corn relationship anyway.

  1590. That's just a natural relationship.

1591. The reason I'm making this point.

1592. I love my natural family.

1593. But the people of God who are overcomers, you are my eternal family.

1594. We'll be brothers and sisters throughout eternity.

1595. And so I put great weight on that which is eternal and not temporal.

1596. I appreciate the temporal, but that which is eternal.

  1597. Give you a scripture.

  1598. 2 Corinthians chapter 4, is that verse 16?

    2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention

1599. He says, while we look at the things that are not seen, not the things that are seen.

1600. For the things that are seen, they are temporal.

  1601. That's natural things.

1602. But things that are not seen, they are eternal.

1603. So yes, we put great emphasis on an eternal family.

1604. I don't want to have any secret from you, Brother Phelps.

1605. I don't want any you to hold anything from me.

1606. I want us to be one.

1607. I don't want to know whether or not you hit your dog.

1608. That's between you and your dog.

1609. But things that's pertaining to life.

1610. I want you to be to trust me, Sister Cheryl Turner.

1611. I want to confide in you, you confide in me.

  1612. We're one.

1613. We should have all things common.

1614. Not in common, but common.

1615. This is the family of God, Brother Rick.

1616. That's what makes us family.

  1617. Eternal.

1618. Did you get that from me?

1619. Why we look not on the things that are seen.

1620. Everything you see is temporary.

  1621. Everything.

1622. Everything, whether it's iron is going to rust, whether it's plastic is going to decay, whether it's wood is going to rot, whether it's a body is going to decay, everything seen is temporal.

  1623. Read it.

1624. But the things which are not seen, for the things that are seen are temporal, meaning they're just for the time being.

1625. But the things that are not seen are eternal.

1626. This is my eternal family.

1627. You are my eternal brothers, my eternal sisters.

  1628. World without end.

1629. Most important thing in my life.

1630. And I'm glad that my wife partakes in that.

1631. But not because she's my wife, because she's a lived soul.

  1632. And I'm my children.

1633. The best thing I can do for my children is see them saved.

1634. The best thing I do for my relatives is see them saved.

1635. If we don't want to be saved, I still love you, but there's a gulf between us.

  1636. And I can't cross it.

1637. I can't bring you to me, and I can't go to you.

1638. God has guilt shows mercy.

1639. Tear down the middle of water perdition.

1640. So, with that being said, I had to overcome even my ties to my natural family being the most important thing.

  1641. Do I love them?

1642. I learned to love my eternal family in a different way, with eternal love.

1643. I have a brother, no sisters, just one brother.

1644. I love my brother, but I can't get it over to him.

1645. I don't support his lifestyle, his decisions.

1646. I'm not angry with him, but I told him, don't call me no more, and I won't call you.

1647. Say, would you do that?

  1648. Yes, I had to.

  1649. I don't support that.

1650. You've been a burden of my parents till the day they left this earth.

1651. And you still won't change your ways.

1652. I'm not mad at you, but I can't yoke up with that.

  1653. I just can't do it.

1654. When you change, call me.

1655. But until then, I can't do it.

1656. Whatever good thing I can find in you, I'm happy for it.

1657. But my family is the people, this is my chief joy.

1658. It's the people of God.

  1659. My eternal family.

1660. Jesus said, There's no man who's given up mother, father, brother, sister, sons, and daughter, and should not receive a hundredfold more with persecution.

  1661. I mean some criticism.

1662. Mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters.

1663. So whatever comes with it, I still say hallelujah anyhow.

  1664. Hallelujah.

1665. Okay, time is so far spent, I'm gonna stop and pull back, not because I'm finished.

1666. This word of God is inexhaustible, but just because it's time for spent.

1667. It's a good life the Lord has given us, isn't it?

1668. We don't have to serve this world anymore.

1669. Everything that the soul can desire, love, peace, joy, long suffering are founded in the people of God.

  1670. It's called a family of a different kind.

1671. God bless all of you.

1672. Appreciate the opportunity to feel the presence of the Lord.

1673. Don't ever take those things for granted.

1674. Uh, to begin to come together and have the Lord meet us here, won't we just tell the Lord thank you?

1675. Thank you, Lord, for your grace.

1676. Oh God, we appreciate you, Lord.

  1677. Thank you, Lord.

  1678. Oh God.

  1679. Thank you, Lord.

  1680. Thank you, Lord.

1681. Who are we that a king would bleed and die?

1682. Who are we that the Lord would take the time to redirect our life?

1683. And say, Come in and be my child.

1684. Now he's brought you in to be his child, he shows you you can be an overcomer.

1685. We don't have to be defeated, don't have to have our heads bowed down, don't have to have the circumstances or situations in the world determine our faithfulness with God.

  1686. My God.

  1687. Think about that.

  1688. So I stood.

1689. Uh time is for a spent to let us go.

1690. We do need to receive an offering for those that are uh from the assembly in um Austin.

1691. Just give the way you normally give.

1692. Uh I know a lot of it is through technology, so just give that way.

1693. Uh please keep uh that assembly is good to see everyone on Zoom that we do see.

1694. Make sure they give to their assembly.

  1695. No, that's that's yes, sir.

  1696. Yes, sir.

  1697. Oh, they know.

1698. That's what happens when you get a real bird.

1699. Love you, but uh responsibility somewhere else.

1700. No, but please give as you normally give, and we're gonna receive our local offering here.

1701. Also, please, as I was mentioned, it's good to see everyone that wasn't able to make it there.

1702. Um, that's at the church in Austin.

1703. I can see some people can't see everyone, but it's good to see them there also.

1704. Uh, I don't know when Brother Caleb and Sister Vanessa is returning, but keep them in prayer tonight, keep them in prayer, keep all the saints in prayer that's driving back.

1705. Uh, those that's going to Austin, some to North Louisiana, some to Batchon Rouge, some to Prairieville, some to Road Ridge, some to um Beaumont, some going to the West Bank, the East Bank, the Bank Bank.

1706. Uh let's pray for traveling grace for everyone as we're dispersing.

1707. Lord, covers it was an outstanding weekend.

1708. I do want to tell the saints, those that came out.

1709. Um, everyone came out, but those that came out, can I give a special accolade if I could for those that bore the heat of the day?

1710. What I mean by that came at Brother Joey, came with a mind to work.

1711. We're trying to recruit some people to get here for six o'clock.

1712. Didn't work, uh, but did get some to get here for 6.15.

1713. They tried their best, uh, but we're putting the mouse down, setting up, breaking down.

  1714. I appreciate you all.

1715. It was a community effort.

1716. And so it took all of us to put our hands to it, but it was an outstanding day yesterday.

1717. Um, it was wonderful to see so many people from the community even come out, just different ones trying to make our imprint.

1718. Let people know we're here.

1719. Uh, we're not secluded, we're not isolated.

1720. We want as many as want to go to go.

1721. And so we just have to keep making ourselves available.

1722. So I do appreciate that.

1723. It's good to see Brother Ray on Zoom.

  1724. We miss you, sir.

1725. Uh, we'll make sure we have a list of work waiting for you when you get back.

1726. I don't want to say that because then he's not gonna come back.

1727. Uh it's gonna be clear, it's gonna be taken care of, Brother Ray.

  1728. Come on back.

1729. No, but he's out at work.

1730. Please keep him in prayer while he's out.

1731. Also, Sister Tangela is out, she's at work um setting up a helping a uh a clinic get started out in California.

1732. So keep her in prayer.

1733. Uh, any other special prayer requests?

1734. Brother, remember Brother Elton Harris.

1735. It's so great to see you, Brother Harris.

1736. We couldn't even enjoy yesterday without you.

1737. We say, boy, brother Harris is suffering right now that he's not here.

1738. We so we we we we spoke of you often yesterday.

1739. We knew you were suffering.

1740. But that's all right, they brought you a plate.

1741. Um, also, let's remember Brother Elton Fletcher.

1742. Um, as he's going through his situation, keep him in prayer, keep him encouraged.

1743. The Lord keep his mind.

1744. It was wonderful to hear his testimony Friday night.

1745. His heart is fixed, that he can make it.

1746. Uh, he's not giving up the battle, he's not giving up the fight.

  1747. So thank you, Lord.

1748. Um, Sister Ida was not feeling well today.

  1749. That's why she isn't here.

1750. I did speak to her this morning, and also brother, not brother, sister Alice.

1751. Uh, she didn't know uh that we're starting at 10, but both of her vehicles were in the shop, and so she didn't have time to get dressed and try to catch a ride or get a ride, I'm sorry.

1752. So remember Sister Alice's situation, that's why she's not here with with young Randy.

1753. Anyone to my left, Sister Grace?

1754. Oh, brother Charles also, sorry.

1755. Brother Charles' vehicle is in the shop.

1756. He said by the time he communicated with Sister Anita, she had already left.

1757. Uh, but that's all right.

  1758. I sent it in what's out?

1759. We were starting at 10.

1760. See, y'all better unmute those notifications.

  1761. Mr.

1762. Bride, the bride, Jesus is coming, Jesus is coming.

1763. They're gonna be looking on the woods out.

  1764. Where everybody at?

  1765. We gone.

1766. We gone, the door is shut.

1767. Go to them that cell.

  1768. I'm sorry.

  1769. I'm sorry.

  1770. I'm muted, brother.

1771. Brother Greg, they be muting it.

  1772. That's all that's there.

  1773. Information there.

  1774. Please remember my grandmother.

1775. Um, just just keep her in prayer.

1776. She has her good days and she has her days where it's not as good, but just if you could, the Lord be merciful.

1777. Um, let's keep her and the family in prayer.

1778. Any others to my left?

1779. Everyone to my left is good.

  1780. Oh, brother Mike Nelson.

1781. Please remember, Brother Mike Nelson in prayer.

  1782. Enjoy you, Brother Nelson.

  1783. Absolutely.

1784. We never read the scripture, but it's it tells you to praise you the Lord.

1785. Praise him in the sanctuary.

  1786. Yes, sir.

  1787. We did it.

  1788. We fulfilled the scripture.

1789. They praised him with the high, praising symbol.

1790. And so the high, and so everything that has, bruh, praise the Lord.

1791. And this is the beautiful thing.

1792. You don't have to wait till you be in a church meeting to do it.

1793. And so being positive, being the way God has intended us to be, we're praising the Lord.

1794. That's what makes us different from the world.

  1795. We're living a life of praise.

1796. Middle, I'm sorry, I'm not gonna Brother Melvin.

  1797. Keep him in prayer.

  1798. Yes, sir.

  1799. We're praying for you.

  1800. Brother Lloyd, too.

  1801. He don't think much.

  1802. But he's still recovered.

1803. That's not for the people who make a transition that takes a lot of faith in God.

  1804. Sacrifice.

1805. Drive across the five states.

  1806. That's a leap of faith.

1807. But God is not alright to forget your work and a leap of love that you show toward his name.

1808. But the transition can be can be dawning.

1809. So let's pray that God showed tremendous favor.

  1810. Give him wisdom.

1811. And uh your good wife, uh appreciate her, I will say this publicly.

1812. To have that kind of confidence in your husband.

1813. To let God deal with him and you follow him as he followed Christ.

1814. I honor you for that.

  1815. I really do.

1816. I don't know everything about you, but what I know, you don't seem to be a negative person.

  1817. That much I appreciate.

1818. Let's keep him in prayer.

1819. Let's not forget Brother Sonny.

1820. I mean he's like bad grace, you can't kill him.

1821. We're gonna pray for him anyway.

1822. Brother Sonny has a trait.

1823. I want to say this public and I'll stop.

  1824. He doesn't flatter.

  1825. But he's a hundred percent honest.

1826. Sometimes people say he's too honest, they say he's offensive, but he's not ever offensive.

1827. If you don't want to know the truth, I'm laugh.

1828. But he's not a deceiver, and the only ones who complain about brother son is people who's too sensitive.

  1829. People too sensitive.

1830. Sensitive is another manifestation of cornality, but he's a tremendous help.

1831. Uh stand up, Sister Shalisa.

1832. You tell I won't tell your testimony, but I told him, Sonny, just has he not helped you.

1833. He hurt my feelings on the phone.

1834. I talked to you for almost two hours.

1835. And Sonny talked to you for ten minutes, and you understood him, you didn't understand me.

  1836. I was hurt.

1837. So you told me that he told you the truth and love.

1838. And how that blessed your life.

1839. And I was using all that wisdom.

1840. I can hear all that wisdom.

1841. So I I commend you sincerely, Shalisa, for being mature.

  1842. You're definitely sincere.

1843. You build a material, I told you that a year ago, you build a material.

  1844. I can deserve materials.

1845. And people like you, we can build with you.

1846. You're dead fast, you're not mobile, you're not too sensitive.

1847. You're quite mature for your age.

1848. I don't mean natural maturity, I mean emotional maturity.

  1849. I'm a sub talk.

1850. Next time I'm here, I'm gonna be here Sunday.

1851. Give me all the subject and all of me get away.

  1852. About emotional maturity.

  1853. Psychologically mentally stable.

1854. All of it is not the same as you can have the same.

1855. Some people can be emotionally stable, but they're psychologically.

1856. Hallelujah now remember the church and all things going within and without all those that are with y'all.

1857. Let's keep them in prayer.

1858. And I remember just a testimony really quick.

1859. The baby sitting on the bladder, that's that's that makes a long time true.

1860. So let's keep them in prayer as they seriously as they travel back.

  1861. Anyone anyone else?

  1862. Specialized.

  1863. Specialized spoken.

  1864. Anyone?

1865. Specialized poking, raising up our hand.

1866. Let's remember we have dinner.

1867. Uh we are serving in the gym, so we'll form a line.

1868. Take our plate and go into the gym, but the condenser went out in the dining room or anything.

1869. But the condenser is not out in the gym, so we'll be nice and cool in the gym, so it'll be better for us to eat there.

1870. So let's take these brother Joey.

  1871. No, sir.

  1872. We not.

  1873. I'm sorry, Brother Joey.

1874. I forgot to send a text message out.

  1875. Thank you, Brother Joey.

  1876. I'm Brother Brown, sorry.

1877. I've been known to forget once or twice.

  1878. Let us go.

1879. Let us take these requests.

1880. That's how they do it.

1881. They do like this, right?

1882. Let's take these requests before the Lord.

1883. He won't speak any evil thing.

  1884. He won't be naked.

  1885. He won't do it.

1886. He didn't violate the vow.

  1887. Can't do it.

  1888. Can't do it.

1889. I got I am all the way to January 1st.

1890. All right, let's go before the Lord in prayer.

  1891. Thank you, Lord.

  1892. Thank you, Lord.

  1893. Oh, we appreciate you.

1894. Thank you for who you are.

  1895. Thank you, Lord.

  1896. God, we love you.

  1897. We appreciate you.

1898. Thank you for your home.

1899. Thank you for who you come.

  1900. Jesus may we pray.

1901. Oh, God bless this fellow.

  1902. Amen.

  1903. Amen.

1904. You may be seated, we have a lively song of Zion, receive the offering, and then we will be dismissed.

1905. I've been turning this way.

  1906. Amen.

  1907. Love you all.

  1908. It's Cleanup Team One.

  1909. It's Cleanup Team One.

1910. What I would ask us to do, we love each other.

1911. We will fellowship with each other.

1912. But for the saints that have to travel the furthest, we want you all to go in line first.

1913. So we'll dismiss all those that are traveling back.

1914. That's not from in the Shriva area that comes to the Shriva Assembly.

1915. That's the only way we're gonna get out of here.

1916. Other than that, it's gonna turn into a big fellowship right here.

1917. So come on, you all, all you beloved.
