Today, the, the, the, the, the title is long, you know, in as
-
much as I wanted to shrink it, you know, to to make it the
-
simple, but this is the simplest way I can give a title for this
-
topic. So Are you ready for this?
-
All right. I call it the highest
-
achievement man can attain in life on earth that is highly
-
valued by God. You know, this is so important.
-
These are some of the topics in the Bible that that that's not
-
discussed so often, OK, because this is going to challenge us.
-
So listen well because this is going to challenge you.
-
You know, as we are preparing to travel, I'm preparing what to
-
share, especially in a place where they don't have a land,
-
they live in high rise buildings.
-
They don't have soil to really, you know, like to, to, to, to
-
make the garden bed. What they have is rooms and
-
windows. So window sill planting is good,
-
but that's not enough. OK, So to help the brethren, we
-
we need to do more prayers and research.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
So, so please pray for us. But then as we prepare not just
-
for the things we want to share with the brethren in other
-
places, we also need to prepare ourselves to get acquainted with
-
the rules and regulations. What is accepted and not
-
accepted in certain places. Is that correct?
-
Is that correct? How about our missionaries?
-
OK, from the West, you come here.
-
Of course you need to know the rules here, right?
-
The values, the the culture, Correct.
-
Is that correct? Our Indian friends, Where are
-
they? Yeah, right.
-
Am I right or am I right? Am I I'm right.
-
OK. So you see, wherever you go, you
-
know, different places, different cultures, Correct.
-
Hello. OK, so I'd like to show you the
-
first page. Understand the laws of the
-
country you're visiting. Where's at the Casey?
-
You know, at the Casey, you know, she's well travelled.
-
They are well travelled like her husband right now, ASA Shakaran
-
somewhere OK in the world. So my point is that everywhere
-
we go, you know, we face people of different kinds, not just
-
people, but they have different loss of the land.
-
Now we're travelling. So you know, there are different
-
laws in in Malaysia and in Singapore, you know, etcetera,
-
etcetera. So The thing is, when travelling
-
anywhere in the world, it's crucial to know and understand
-
the loss of the destination you're visiting.
-
You are subject to the loss of the country you're in, even if
-
you are not aware of them, correct, and can face penalties
-
for violations like legal consequences.
-
This includes understanding local regulations, customs and
-
potential restrictions on items like medications or weapons.
-
Or you know, there are things that you can bring and not
-
bring. See, I have things I want to
-
bring to Malaysia, but I cannot. I am not allowed, OK, but there
-
are things I can bring to Singapore, not in Malaysia.
-
Do you understand? So I have to, you know, because
-
if I, if I bring something that's not allowed, they will
-
hold me at the immigration, do you understand?
-
So I need to know, correct? Now here's my point.
-
So maybe you're thinking we're not travelling.
-
Why are we talking about this? OK, this is the point.
-
We our citizens of heaven, Philippians 320, it says.
-
But our citizenship is in heaven and we eagerly await a Savior
-
from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that
-
enables Him to bring everything under His control will transform
-
our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body
-
from incorrupt from corruptibility, a corruptibility
-
to incorruptibility. Do you understand?
-
So the point is this Philippians 320 states that are citizenship
-
is in heaven and living as a citizen of heaven while here on
-
earth means knowing and striving or making every effort to
-
embody. Excuse me, the values of God's
-
Kingdom in all aspects of life or to live according to heavenly
-
values, which includes loving and forgiving one another and
-
and the truth is many still don't understand that we are
-
being trained here right now in this present life on earth,
-
trained by to what? To love, to forgive.
-
That's why we face a lot of conflicts, misunderstandings.
-
Are you having this trial? These are allowed trials.
-
Why? Because God is preparing us in
-
to heaven. Hello.
-
Hello. I told you this is going to
-
challenge all of us So listen. So know what's allowed and
-
what's not allowed. Question example is lying, Is
-
stealing, murdering or gambling Sugal?
-
Is it allowed in heaven? Yes No no.
-
Is singing worldly songs allowed in heaven?
-
What does the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords require of his
-
subjects? So it's very important because
-
even now, as children of the king, we ought to live worthy of
-
his return. Amen.
-
You see, God is holy, so we should start to, you know,
-
behave to conduct ourselves to live a holy life when here or in
-
heaven only here. Why we'll still here.
-
The things that we need to change, that we need, things
-
that needs transformation must happen.
-
Not in heaven starts here. This is where we are right now
-
and I tell you, there's so much struggle that we will grow
-
through and don't tell me you don't have because I'm a pastor
-
for many years, but I still have challenges, challenges that the
-
Lord allows why he wanted you, you know, to learn the Kingdom
-
values. Amen.
-
So praise the Lord. OK, so I have a testimony, but
-
I'm going to skip that one so we can continue.
-
So to to give contrast, you want a testimony.
-
OK, let me give you a testimony. When when was the birthday of
-
Kai? July 5.
-
OK, last July 5, we had the family like celebration
-
dedication. OK, I'm sorry.
-
So we dedicated Kai. It's it was his first birthday,
-
one year old and John Lord was there and they set up and done.
-
They set up the what? They decorated the place.
-
But you know what happened when everybody left?
-
So I started to leave the place, but I did not know that there
-
was a car on my right side. It's so dark, OK.
-
And I said, OK, no, the car, it's it's empty.
-
So I just drove turn left and you know the pickup truck, you
-
know, I, I hit the, the Toyota Vios again.
-
I said, oh, oh, there's a car there, Simon.
-
So we you know, and, and my daughter said I cannot even see.
-
It's so dark. It's So what?
-
They called it the tint and no lights and said, oh, no.
-
So we could have left. Nobody saw.
-
There was no camera. It's just, I said hi, just a
-
scratch. Do you understand?
-
But you know what I did? I said OK I park again and I
-
asked everyone I said who owns this car until I came to the
-
what is the hall and I saw John Lord Hey I asked the people who
-
work there do you know the owner of the red views and then they
-
don't know I said. So we went to the other place
-
until we found. But the owner left already.
-
His wife was there and the driver.
-
And then I asked Mom, I'm not going to leave until I will find
-
the owner of the red car. Why?
-
Because I have scratched. All right?
-
I mean, I'm not going to, you know, You know, repentance means
-
what? What's another word for
-
repentance? Yeah, turning away.
-
No, no, no, I'm sorry. This I'm not pertaining to
-
repentance. It's something that you can
-
restitution. That's the word.
-
If you have done something wrong, you know restitution is
-
the word. You have to you borrowed
-
something, you lost it, you give it back.
-
Do you understand? Compensate.
-
That's training. Remember this?
-
That's an incident. Work where I can run.
-
I nobody saw, nobody knew except me and Anjeli.
-
Ah, that's the wrong mindset. God sees all I said.
-
Mom, I cannot live without integrity.
-
I will find you. So we we connected.
-
I said I'm willing to pay whatever I said my husband will
-
bring it to the shop so they can do an estimate.
-
I cannot give the price. I said it's OK.
-
So I give the calling card, etcetera.
-
And then OK, I've been waiting for a Sunday, etcetera.
-
I have you understand if you've done something wrong, you need
-
to apologize. You apologize.
-
Why am I talking about this? Because this is what training we
-
are being trained here while we are living in the flesh in this
-
planet, so that we are prepared OK when we get to heaven.
-
Amen. So now I want to compare this.
-
So that's my testimony. So anyway, everything is sold,
-
we pay, etcetera. We call, I call them, Hey man,
-
is it etcetera? I've been waiting for your call.
-
You see the point was they got my number.
-
I did not get their number, OK, so I'm waiting.
-
Where are they going to call? I'm so eager to solve the
-
problem. That's the kind of hard don't
-
run away. Don't run away from the mess
-
that we you know it's it was not intentional.
-
Do you understand it was not intentional, but God.
-
Does God allow such trials Yes, and I'm glad it happened.
-
No, I'm not glad that I, that I scratch somebody's car.
-
It I, I don't like that, but the test was on me.
-
Will you accept responsibility? That's restitution.
-
So I don't care how much the cost, but at least Lord, I will
-
pass the test. Can you tell somebody what test?
-
Come on, tell somebody. What test are you facing right
-
now? Ha ha, ha, ha.
-
And tell somebody. Come on, tell that person.
-
Don't run away. Face it.
-
OK, now you got the point. OK, so let's let's go to the
-
main point. This is somehow a comparison.
-
Are you ready for this? OK, So what I have on the left
-
side, the greatest achievement or status pursued or sought
-
after by men. This is the flesh on the right
-
side, the greatest verse virtue in the Kingdom of heaven
-
accepted by God. So the first one, let's discuss
-
this now in Matthew chapter 20, verses 20 to 28, you will read
-
that there was this mother who requested the Lord Jesus that
-
his sons will sit, one will sit on the right and one will sit on
-
the left. He said, Lord, may you I have a
-
request. It's in the Bible.
-
OK. The mother of Zebedee's sons
-
came to Jesus with her sons and kneeling down, ask a favor of
-
him. And Jesus said, what is it that
-
you want? She said, grant the one that one
-
of these two sons of mine, mine may sit at your right and the
-
other at your left in your Kingdom.
-
So the mother knew that Jesus is the king of kings, Amen.
-
But he asked, she's asking something.
-
No, because Sinabang parents Nah diligus omahimo successful and
-
Ilangana correct. We want our children to become
-
successful in life, correct? That's why this mother, you
-
know, he she came to Oh God, please, you know, have my the
-
other son will sit on the right or on the left.
-
And then and then what happened? Let me go directly to the point
-
verse 23, Jesus said to them, you will indeed drink from my
-
cup, but to sit on my right at my right or left is not for me
-
to grant. These places belong to those for
-
whom they have been prepared by my father.
-
Wow. So the Ghantan ambition,
-
correct, correct. That's normal.
-
I am not saying it's a sin, it's not OK.
-
But what what we're trying to do is we're going we're going to
-
compare. So this is what the Lord Jesus
-
said I did. He made a contrast between the
-
leadership in the world and his kind of leadership.
-
So this is what he said in verse 24.
-
He said when the 10 heard about this, they were indignant with
-
the two brothers. OK, verse 25 Jesus called them
-
together and said hey guys, come here, come over, gather around.
-
Said you know that the rulers of the Gentiles Lord it over them
-
and their high officials exercise authority over them.
-
He said in verse 26, not so with you.
-
Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your
-
servant, verse 27, and whoever wants to be first must be your
-
slave, verse 28. Just as the Son of Man did not
-
come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom
-
for many. So that's the contrast between
-
the leadership that is being exercised, the custom, the the,
-
the culture in the world compared to Jesus kind of
-
leadership. The leadership in the world is
-
like a pyramid where the leader is on top, everybody's below.
-
But Jesus leadership is different.
-
It's like an inverted pyramid where he is beneath serving
-
everyone, holding everyone, supporting everyone.
-
Is that amazing, right? That's amazing.
-
His leadership is not do this, do that.
-
His leadership is let me show you, follow me, correct?
-
It's not telling you you do this.
-
He will say follow me, I'll do it.
-
I'll show you. That's a many.
-
That's amazing. Amen.
-
So in the world, leaders here are bossy, you know, but in the
-
Kingdom of God, it's not. You don't feel like you're
-
superior or better than others. You see, this is This is why I
-
told you this is a challenging topic because this is going to
-
change our perspective in life. We will have a Kingdom mindset,
-
A heavenly mindset, not an earthly one.
-
Hello, hello. So listen #2 it says driven by
-
prominence. Driven by prominence.
-
We have Matthew 23. Now this is a long one, but I'm
-
going to read it anyway. Jesus said to the crowns and,
-
and to his disciples, the teachers of the law and the
-
Pharisees said that. Moses said, so you must be
-
careful to do everything they tell you.
-
You know what? What is Jesus saying?
-
They said He said that. The teachers of the law, the
-
rabbi, what do they like to do? Can I have that seat over there,
-
please? If this is Moses, sit as a
-
judge. This rabbi, they like to sit.
-
Why? Because this is identified.
-
With who? With Moses, The judge, The
-
authority so as though when they're seated there and and and
-
conduct affairs and and give instructions.
-
It's like elevating themselves. I have this authority.
-
Do you understand why do they do that?
-
Verse 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you
-
control. They wanted to control people,
-
but do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they
-
preach, you see. Hello.
-
Never give an advice that you cannot do or that you're not
-
practicing yourself. That's the point.
-
Now listen here it says verse 4, they tie up heavy loads and put
-
them on other people's shoulders.
-
They give you burden and they themselves are not willing to
-
lift a finger to move them. Verse 5, everything they do is
-
done for people to see. They make their, I don't know
-
how to pronounce this, their phylacteries wide and tassels on
-
the garments long. You know, the the uniform.
-
It's like the attire. All right.
-
Correct. Verse 6, if you you're on verse
-
6, what does it say? Verse 6 says they love the place
-
of what? Honor at banquets and the most
-
important seats in the synagogues.
-
OK they want to sit in front OK and they want what because they
-
want what honor place of honor verse 7 everybody are you
-
following ready go. They love to be greeted with
-
what respect in the marketplaces and to be called what rabbi or
-
teacher by others. No, it's not a sin if you're a
-
student and you call your teacher teacher, OK?
-
Because your teacher is really your teacher, correct?
-
But this is not talking about your teacher whom you call
-
teacher. This is talking about the heart
-
of this rabbis who wanted to be called rabbis.
-
There is a difference when somebody calls you teacher and a
-
difference between you will you will require them.
-
Hey, you call me this. You call me this with this
-
title. OK.
-
Hey, I am a Bishop. You call me Bishop.
-
Oh, do you understand? Throw away those titles.
-
They're not important. Those titles are just for you.
-
So people know your function, your job description.
-
Correct. But you are not to crave the
-
title, the position, the honor, the prestige, because that is
-
not allowed in the Kingdom of God.
-
There is a different kind of character and values practiced
-
in heaven because the leader is your servant.
-
Wow, now you're shocked. What kind of preaching is this?
-
This is the biblical leadership I'm talking about.
-
Let's continue. And it says but you are not to
-
be called rabbi, for you have one teacher and you and you are
-
all brothers. Verse 9 And do not call anyone
-
on earth Father for you have one Father he and he is in heaven
-
again, this is not telling us not to call our Father Father.
-
This is these are the people you know, the Lord is making a
-
correction that these people are the people who demands to be
-
called this with this title and with this name.
-
Hello. And it says nor are you to be
-
called instructors for you have one instructor, the Messiah.
-
Wow. But do we give instruction?
-
Yes, we do, but it's different when you when you demand it.
-
OK, verse 12 for those who exalt themselves will be humble.
-
Listen, those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and
-
those who humble themselves will be exalted.
-
This is what's going to be on the judgement of works.
-
The motive of our hearts. OK, has a big part of the
-
criteria. Amen.
-
So the greatest among you will be your what, verse 11 servant.
-
I'm telling you, I've been serving the Lord for many years
-
and I, my heart's desire is not to become, to be called to have
-
this whatever position. The only thing I want to do is
-
to serve him, That's all. Forget about, oh, he's a
-
prophet. Oh, he's a teacher.
-
Oh, he said, forget about that. It's just the grace of the Lord
-
who has granted me understanding and wisdom.
-
So I understood. Oh, he's a good farming
-
instructor. Oh, no, no, no.
-
Listen, I just learned it. Also, I'm a good student.
-
Maybe. Yeah, I will accept that.
-
But I'm a student. What school?
-
School of the Holy Spirit. You know what?
-
My latest experiment. I have to convert cultivation of
-
mushroom because the mushroom we have here are cultivated best
-
outdoors, but I'm going to teach in a country where they don't
-
have outdoors for their farming. So we have to teach them how to
-
grow things indoor. So it was a challenging for me
-
that I have to bring it in and this and adjust this.
-
So, so many things that Lord, it's not working and Lord, I
-
don't have much time. Lord, I like everything and I
-
slept and in the morning got boom dropped and inside said,
-
you have to turn this, you have to drop this signature.
-
I said what? What?
-
So I did message. Oh yes, that's it.
-
So do you understand? I'm learning a lot of things not
-
because of I'm so intelligent that I understood everything,
-
but you have to open your ears. That's why we call it biblical
-
farming, because not everything I learned is from the articles
-
that you find from books and then the Internet.
-
There are so many practical things you will never find
-
there, but you will find it when you pray.
-
Of course, a lot of tips from the Israelis, but how are you
-
going to convert the modern high tech AI technology to something
-
doable for people who doesn't have money?
-
Ask again, Lord. OK, down on your knees is the
-
answer. So we're trying to help people,
-
whether it plants or people who are sick a lot their help even
-
pastor said pastor, what happened to the pain, etc.
-
Or just one night overnight 50% gone.
-
I said whoa very good because you have to understand that the
-
the needs of the plants are same needs of people.
-
I just realized why look at me when God created Adam from
-
where? He formed a clay from the soil.
-
So where do you need? Where do the nutrients that we
-
need? Where do we get it?
-
The nutrients from the soil. But who will process it first?
-
The microbes will feed the plants.
-
So the plants has needs for nutrients and then people who
-
needs those minerals and nutrients will get it from the
-
plants. Hello, do you understand the
-
connection? Now I'm not going to talk about
-
farming today. So, but The thing is that what
-
I'm trying to say to you is that the Bible is very significant
-
because it is in the Bible. You want tips, you want to learn
-
and understand farming, you read the Bible, it's here.
-
That's why I, I, I was trying to research and did a lot of, you
-
know, on, on many things. And I tried to experiment and
-
it's, it's, it was not, it didn't work.
-
It worked 20 percent, 30%, but not really.
-
OK. After a time, whatever you're
-
experimenting will fail. And guess what?
-
You know what I did? I go to the Bible.
-
I said, what does the Bible talk about this thing?
-
And you read it, the tip is there.
-
I said, whoa, that is what we need.
-
And then after experimenting and it worked.
-
You know what I did? Even at the middle of the night,
-
I was outside working. I stepped one step backward and
-
I give God a salute. I said God, wow.
-
I don't understand how it worked, but it worked.
-
The Bible is true. Do you understand?
-
The Bible is so amazing, but in order for you to get something
-
from God, you have to go down on your knees and say God, I do not
-
understand anymore. I don't know the solution.
-
Even the scientists in the world do not know the solution for
-
forsarium. That's the truth until today.
-
A lot of banana plantation in the Philippines went down close.
-
Why? Because of forsarium and now
-
we're changing it. That's why the Israelis are
-
coming here because we're going to expand the cacao in Mindanao.
-
So we're going to be travelling with them in Mindanao and I'm my
-
ears are listening. More tips.
-
But here's the thing friends, it's the heart.
-
We need to have a heart that beats after God, Say God.
-
I am so bankrupt of myself by myself, I cannot do anything,
-
but I look up to you and say, God, you're the only help.
-
Do you know the song? Any young song?
-
You are my shepherd, my protector.
-
That's my king. That's my king.
-
Let's go back to the topic. Amen.
-
So leadership through dominance, that's number three people on
-
earth wants control and often seek to be served and revered.
-
Don't you know, oh Nasi, boss, boss, you know they can do
-
whatever they want and you just obey.
-
This is the kind of leadership here.
-
And if you are not the boss, you're only.
-
The way you relate to your boss, you're going to please your
-
boss, correct? But not in the Kingdom of God.
-
You do not please people in the Kingdom of God.
-
That's why Jesus said I do not receive praise from men, but he
-
wants praise, commendation from who?
-
From the Father. That's why it doesn't matter if
-
people will not like you here on earth because you preach the
-
gospel. It doesn't matter, OK?
-
Give them the right to their own opinion, Hello.
-
What matters is what does God have to say about you?
-
So your reputation here on earth doesn't matter anymore.
-
What matters the most is that Lord, am I doing well?
-
Are you pleased with my life? Lord, are you happy with me?
-
Hello. Amen.
-
So I'm not going to read Luke 22 anymore.
-
Just it's for you to just take a picture.
-
And I studied at home. So let's go to the next side of
-
the presentation. So we already explained to you
-
the left, which is the greatest achievement or status pursued by
-
men. This is what the flesh desire,
-
desires to be. Somebody desires to be elevated
-
above other people. Do you understand?
-
Because we wanted honor, we want respect.
-
We want people to respect us and to give us comfort.
-
You know, it's, it's, it's different when you're at the
-
pedestal. That's the point.
-
And this is a common struggle in India too, right?
-
Because in India, there is a, what we call the caste system.
-
So people, you know, before you were born, people already
-
striving to be somehow elevated in life.
-
And, and I, I understand that, but remember this, the good news
-
is this, we don't need to do that in the Kingdom of God.
-
It is God who will tell you, come up here, Amen.
-
It is God is going to promote you.
-
It is God is going to equip you. Is that amazing?
-
But what kind of heart is God looking for somebody who is what
-
meek, humble and meek who is open to him.
-
Are you learning something? I'm going to challenge you more.
-
This is the this is the point. Let's go to the next one.
-
The greatest commandment is what Yes, Matthew 22.
-
OK, let me read. Let the the teacher of the law,
-
verse 36, he asked Jesus this question.
-
He said teacher or Lord Jesus or say Rabbi, which is the greatest
-
commandment in the law. Jesus replied, love the Lord
-
your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
-
your mind. And this is the first and
-
greatest commandment and the second is like it.
-
Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law of the prophets hang
-
on these two laws. Now if you read Mark chapter 12,
Mark 12 chapter mention
-
it has more information, which is a scripture that I like to
-
read also because Jesus, I mean because this this Rabbi affirm
-
what Jesus said and Jesus said you are not far from the Kingdom
-
of God. But the point here, friends, is
-
that what is the virtue? What are the things like the
-
acid for God? What are the things that God
-
considers important? OK, intimacy.
-
It's you loving God above all else.
-
Do you love God? Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Make the Long story short, right
-
the mess message, the best message.
-
So every week in Israel from the Old Testament Friday afternoon,
-
when the, the, the shofar is, you know, they blow the shofar
-
and call people to gather and the Shabbat thing and they will,
-
they will read Shema, O Israel, the Lord our God is 1 OK, love
-
the Lord your God with all your heart mind.
-
So they will, they will always be reminded about the first
-
commandment. Love the Lord your God, Amen,
-
Amen #2 But there are least, there will be least in the
-
Kingdom of heaven, not least because you want to take the
-
lowly places, you want to humble yourself.
-
But literally, they are considered least in the Kingdom
-
of heaven because these are the people who are what they are
-
hearers, but not doers. They don't obey.
-
They're like the hypocrites. OK, Matthew 5/19, 2:20 it says.
-
Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the list of these
-
commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least
-
in the Kingdom of heaven. But whoever practices and
-
teaches these commands will be great.
-
I will be called great in the Kingdom of heaven.
-
For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of
-
the Pharisees and teachers of the law, you will certainly not
-
enter the Kingdom of heaven. Meaning to say we should not be
-
like the hypocrites. Hypocrites because they're great
-
pretenders because they do not do what they preach.
-
Hello. So the point here is that Jesus
-
said those people who, who follow the Bible and and that's
-
it. OK, you hear and you obey.
-
So you're you're modeling it to other people so that, he said
-
these people are called great in the Kingdom.
-
Hello, so by your own assessment, are you great in the
-
Kingdom of heaven? You have to do your assessment
-
now because on graduation day you don't have time anymore.
-
This is the time to accept the challenge.
-
Amen. Last but not the least, the
-
greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.
-
True greatness in God's Kingdom is found in what?
-
Humility and servant leadership, Not in power, not in might, not
-
in authority. You know, a Matthew 18, the Gan
-
Coyote, No, the Matthew 18, Mark 9, Luke 9, Luke 22.
-
I'm not going to read all those chapters, but I'm going to tell
-
you, you take a picture and you read that at home and you will,
-
I mean, try to read it again and again until you get it, until
-
you catch it. Because you need to apply it to
-
heart. You need to understand the
-
context of those scriptures because in those scriptures, the
-
Lord Yeshua himself is the one teaching.
-
He taught His disciples the right conduct, the right heart,
-
OK of his followers, those who want to live in the Kingdom of
-
heaven. But let me just go to the main
-
scripture, the the the keynote, OK, in Matthew 18, I'm going to
-
I'm going to read verse 4. It says, therefore, whoever
-
humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom
-
of heaven. Wow, wow.
-
A child. You see a child.
-
Why do we say a child is humble? Because the child has has
-
nothing to boast. Bring Kai.
-
Is Kai there? The Le?
-
The lassie Kai, The river. I I I know we have a lot of
-
babies here. OK?
-
But I choose Sky because he knows me.
-
Does Sky look intimidating? No.
-
Does Sky have something to tell his grandfather?
-
That You know, Grandpa, you know I'm.
-
Huh. Yeah, I'm better.
-
And I'm. I'm good.
-
And I'm, you know, I'm your boss.
-
Grandpa. Can Kai say that to me?
-
Grandpa, I'm more knowledgeable than you.
-
And no, unless you become like a child because he has nothing.
-
OK, do you understand? So what a child does?
-
The child has the heart and longs for love, for touch,
-
correct? Correct.
-
And a child wanted to be with somebody who, who, whom they,
-
you know, and actually they trust, correct.
-
So I hope you got the revelation right.
-
Now it is different when Jesus said unless you become like
-
little children, He wanted this kind of heart.
-
If I tell my grandson, Amen, does my grandson argue with me?
-
No, the point in the Bible is that whatever Jesus says,
-
obeyed. Don't argue.
-
Just like Abraham said, Abraham, give me the one you love.
-
Oh, that's very hard. But he did not argue with God.
-
That's why Israel is so blessed. Go to mumsy, mumsy.
-
Go to mumsy first, later than or later.
-
What happened to you? Chocolate.
-
You like chocolate? All right, so let's help me
-
preach then. OK, Where are we?
-
So it says here verse. Let's read.
-
Where are we? Mark 9 OK in verse 35, sitting
-
down, Jesus called the 12 and said anyone who wants to be
-
first, he must be the very last and the servant of all.
-
OK, can you get? OK, there you go, my bigot name
-
with that long power. So where am I?
-
All right. OK, Mark 9, anyone who wants to
-
be first, you must be the very last and the servant of all.
-
Wow. Wow.
-
This sounds to me you're not competitive.
-
You don't need to compete in order to get attention, Amen.
-
You don't need to be known to be recognized, Amen.
-
You don't need to be told you know to be, you know to feel
-
important because God knows. God is watching us, and God will
-
allow trials for us to have an opportunity to respond, to
-
overcome, to learn new things, to change.
-
That's why praise God for the trials.
-
Unless you're not excited to face those trials, don't run
-
away like Jonah, respond to God. I'm blessed, you know, this
-
humility thing and servanthood. I remember the other night.
-
That's why I had this revelation the other night during our
-
prayer satellite prayer meeting. Not just the other night, even
-
the other week. Dawn was not there last night.
-
But at Dawn and May, after eating, they will, you know,
-
just rush to the the sink and then wash the dishes.
-
I said no, no, no, no, no. I'll do that.
-
No, no. Yeah, no, no, I can do that.
-
So whoever is there, the first, you know, I'm going to give you
-
a picture. Not just them.
-
OK, Axel. Also, I remember Axel, if Axel
-
is in the house, he will be the first to be at the, I don't
-
know, Magoo Gaston Plateau wash the dishes, you know, look,
-
look, of course, even my son Jerry, he's so busy things, but
-
whenever he has the time, he washes it without.
-
I like people who you don't don't tell them.
-
And Jelly will is automatic. You know, I can hear the voice
-
of mom. You refill the water.
-
It's it's in the system. OK, I'm going to show you a
-
picture. I like.
-
I like this one. I like this one too.
-
Why? Because they're very young.
-
But look at them. And I want to.
-
I want to. I also want to give credit to
-
the mentor, Kuya Jovi, Kuya, Kuya, OK?
-
He's the one mentoring them what to do next and this and that and
-
and you know, I like it because they whatever Kuya says, OK,
-
let's do it. Said wow, this is amazing.
-
Unless you become like little children.
-
We need teachers here. We need to do this and nobody's
-
cooperating. You don't need to be told.
-
You just say Kuya buddy. Sir, what can I do?
-
How can I serve? Amen.
-
Sino Dito. Who among us here when our
-
parents tell us, hey, please wash the dishes?
-
Why me? Are you getting this?
-
OK, let me finish some of those. Mark 9 next is Luke Chapter 9.
Luke 9 chapter mention
-
OK, let's just have where is Luke Chapter 9?
Luke 9 chapter mention
-
OK, I just want the highlights. OK?
-
It says in verse 48, Luke Chapter 9 it says.
Luke 9 chapter mention
-
Then he said to them, whoever welcomes this little child in my
-
name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who
-
sent me. For he who is least among you
-
all, he is the greatest. OK, Luke 22, OK, verse 26,
-
listen to this. It says, but you are not to be
-
like that, not like the Gentile kind of leadership.
-
You understand the bossy kind of thing.
-
The the, the person who just points, hey, who tells you what
-
to do and they don't do what they do what they don't know how
-
to do what they told you to do. Anyway, verse 26, it says you
-
are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you
-
should be like the youngest. So even if you are the eldest,
-
you, you know, sometimes you, you don't reprimand.
-
Hey, I am the eldest, you do as I tell you.
-
Understood, Sir. Yes, Sir.
-
No, we're not in the military. Even if you are the eldest, it
-
says here you should be like the youngest, meaning to say be
-
gentle as a kuya or as an ate. Do not be harsh.
-
Be gentle. Hello.
-
Hello. Are you still there?
-
All right, Very good. Verse 27.
-
Listen, Verse 27, if you're following with me, if you're
-
reading your Scripture, OK, I'm reading NIV just in verse 27.
-
For who is greater? The one who is at the table or
-
the one who serves? What do you think?
-
In the Kingdom of God, the one who serves is greater, but in
-
the Kingdom of men, the one who is being served is greater.
-
Do you understand? I have a chair.
-
I have a table. OK, Just can you sit here?
-
Let's say just has is in a restaurant and then he ordered
-
food and Axel is the waiter. OK, And then Axel is serving the
-
food in a plate called IMAP apple.
-
OK, sorry. And then the question is this
-
Jesus said, oh, I'm sorry. Jesus said, who is greater?
-
The one who sits at the table who ordered food or the one who
-
serves? Who says the one who serves?
-
That's the Kingdom of God. But in this world, I'll tell
-
you, he's not great. He's just a waiter.
-
Is that true? Hey, waiter, Waiter.
-
Triba, do you understand? We treat waiters AAS wolla
-
quisquila mornan waiterka ako politician Co ha.
-
I'm just exaggerating things. So you understand that the
-
Kingdom of the of men and the Kingdom of God is opposite.
-
They're not in parallel. So how can you live in the
-
Kingdom of this world where where the the principles of the
-
Kingdom of God is not being practiced or followed or
-
steamed, correct. But in the Kingdom of God, Jesus
-
is the one who will serve us. What's amazing, I'm still
-
wondering how he can do that. There's a lot of us, but he's
-
willing to serve. Hallelujah, Amen.
-
So right now, in this present world, the man, the man sit
-
sitting on the table who ordered food is greater than the waiter
-
who is serving. But in the Kingdom of God, the
-
one who serves, it's the greatest.
-
OK, look at me. Look at me.
-
Where's Bobby? Come here.
-
Bobby and Anna for the sake of example.
-
Now this is no longer an example.
-
For many years they are serving food and look, look at me, look
-
at me. Whether you like it or not.
-
A lot of people will look at Bobby and say I am more
-
important than Bobby because what he does, he just prepare
-
food for for the kids for feeding program.
-
In your eyes, when we get to heaven, this is what Bobby will
-
tell you because in heaven nothing is hidden.
-
The things that you that you have in your mind about Bobby
-
and you're belittling Bobby in heaven, this is what you will
-
get. Look at Bobby's eyes.
-
That's what you will get in heaven.
-
That's why even if we, I'm a pastor, I tell you, I travel.
-
They, they respect, oh, this is our, our vision.
-
This is our so and so. And every time they say that I
-
said, oh God, no, it's not, it's you, Lord.
-
But listen to me. Why?
-
Because when I stand on stage, it's because I was tasked to do
-
this. But there's, there are people in
-
the church, the unheard, unsung heroes.
-
They prepare the church. They, they, they sweep the
-
floor. They, they, the janitorial
-
services. Oh, don't belittle them.
-
Don't you ever do that because the time will come, you will be
-
surprised that they did what they're called to do 100%.
-
That's great reward because that is their lot.
-
That is their task. That's the word 100%.
-
But to us who are more gifted more we would, we were given
-
more talents and we're not using it.
-
Oh no, think about it. And we're so busy about so many
-
things and we do not employ, we do not utilize nor get things to
-
work all the entrustments that God has given us, us people.
-
Think about how much time we're wasting in this life.
-
What matters to the world doesn't always, you know, in
-
this operation always matters to God.
-
So think about the things that matters to God.
-
Even Lat Ivy going to Cambodia is, is something whatever God,
-
wherever God will lead. You say yes, Lord, Yes, Lord.
-
Lord, I don't know why I'm here right now, but I'm going to do
-
my best. 100% yes, Lord, I am here to serve. 100% yes Lord
-
always like that. God has called you to wherever
-
do it serve God, be his representative.
-
You are the ambassador of Christ.
-
Yes Lord, that's the heart. Amen.
-
Singers NATO huh contact you so you can say long hearts.
-
They're doing their best on music, team, etcetera.
-
I'm the DPS facilitators. You're giving time.
-
DPS, all of you who are serving God, continue to do that.
-
Alex, how's the mission works, Buddha, I'm happy to hear that.
-
You see, when God gives you an assignment, finish it.
-
Amen. A pilmo DBS OK, so OK, where are
-
we? And Jesus said in verse 27, for
-
who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who
-
serves? Is it not the one who is at the
-
table, but I am among you as one who serves.
-
That's the thing. Jesus is greater.
-
He's the King of Queens, Lord of Lords, but he said I serve,
-
Amen. Anyway, let's let's proceed to
-
the next verse. The Lord Jesus or Yeshua is our
-
best and perfect example. What did Jesus do?
-
He wash the feet of his disciples.
-
Now I'm not going to read that again.
-
It's a long read. OK, so please take a picture.
-
He said. I have set you an example that
-
you should do as I have done for you.
-
OK? No servant is greater than his
-
master, nor is a messenger greater.
-
OK, I know I'm I have preached. OK, let's Philippians chapter 2,
-
verse 3 do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain
-
conceit, rather in humility, consider others better than
-
yourselves or value others above yourselves.
-
It's of you. This is the point each of you
-
should not only I was each of you should look not only to your
-
own interest, but also to the interest of others.
-
And it says in verse 5, verse 5, it says your attitude should be
-
the same as that of Jesus Christ, of Christ Jesus.
-
Amen. Listen to this.
-
Who being in a very nature of God, did not consider equality
-
with God something to be grasped or used to his own advantage.
-
Rather He made himself, He made himself nothing by taking the
-
very nature of a servant being made in human likeness.
-
Listen to this Jesus is God, he's equal with the Father, but
-
he does not, he does not he has no ambition.
-
That's why if you read Jesus words he honors the Father
-
greater. If you read the the the words of
-
the Father in Hebrews, he honors the Son.
-
If you read from the lines of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit
-
will what we honor the Son. And do you understand the honor
-
1 And that's the kind of culture, the honor Kayata Yedito
-
we here in the Philippines, we address our pastors Kuya.
-
We want to be a family. It doesn't mean he's when you
-
say kuya, he's older. No, it's sign of respect.
-
Amen. That's why if you call me by
-
title, you call me hey, so and so and pastor.
-
That's OK, because I'm a pastor. But you see, in a Philippine
-
culture, when you call a person kuya, that's something
-
relational. In Singapore, they call the
-
uncle even in India, right? Am I?
-
Am I right, Uncle and Auntie, even if they're not related by
-
blood, Uncle Auntie. Anyway, so verse 8 And being
-
found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became
-
obedient to death, even death on the cross.
-
Verse 9 Listen, therefore God exalted him to the highest place
-
and gave him the name above every name, that at the name of
-
Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under
-
the earth, and every tongue will acknowledge or confess that
-
Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father, praise
-
the Lord. Can you prepare that song?
-
Therefore God has exalted him. Do we have that song?
-
Why? Why do I want to to sing that
-
song? Listen to me the word.
-
Therefore, there is a precedent. Not actually he discussed.
-
That's why it says therefore God, the Bible says, therefore
-
God is exalted him. Why?
-
Because he has humbled himself even to the point of death.
-
But listen to this. Jesus is God.
-
Jesus is perfect. He has not sinned.
-
He's holy, but he died in our place.
-
He serve us. If Jesus, who has all the
-
entitlement, the right, you know, to not to do those things
-
for us, not to serve us, he has the right because he's the King.
-
Hello. Why would you sacrifice your
-
king? Correct in a battle?
-
But he gave his life for his subjects.
-
What a great humility. He's not just a king.
-
He's the creator. He's the word.
-
Through him all things were created.
-
Do you understand? Why would he die for his
-
creation? He has all the reasons, the
-
right, valid reasons not to do it, but he did it anyway.
-
That's a perfect example of a servant heart.
-
My challenge today is that we ask God.
-
Lord, don't ask God that you will become God.
-
No, that's not the right prayer. OK, Lord, I will be like God.
-
No, that's Lucifer's. It's a wrong thinking.
-
The right thing is that Lord help me, help me become like you
-
in character. Lord, I would learn this because
-
you know why You can only go as far as your character.
-
If your character is smells bad, the Lord is not going to promote
-
you in his Kingdom. You have to understand this.
-
WWJD. In this situation, what would
-
Jesus do? Clark, are you gay?
-
That's a revelation right there. When people explode and they
-
say, oh, that's a confirmation. Yeah, Amen.
-
Jesus washed his disciples feet. He was willing to do that.
-
He was willing to serve. But there are people says, oh,
-
why would I do that? You, I'm your boss.
-
You wash my feet, that's the world, but that's not our Lord.
-
Amen. And one thing for sure, this is
-
what Jesus commanded. Are you listening?
-
This is the last page, Mark 14. I like this verse and in Matthew
-
26 it says verse 13. Just the main point.
-
It says truly, I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached
-
throughout the world, what she has done will also be told in
-
memory of her, of her. You see how much the Lord honors
-
people, who humbles themselves and honor him.
-
If you bring glory to God, you worship God, you're loyal to
-
God, you humble yourself. We humble ourselves.
-
Wow. The Lord will honor you.
-
He who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble
-
themselves will be exalted. That's the kind of heart I say,
-
God, I want that heart. I want that heart so you can use
-
me. Amen.
-
So that's the you can read that in Mark 14-1 tonight.
-
So I'm not going to read again the the chapter because it's
-
it's going to eat some time. So I'm done with my preaching.
-
I hope you have a revelation today.
-
Desire to grow, to mature spiritually.
-
It all happens here, but we need God's help.
-
Say God. I thought I was humble already.
-
Now I realize I am proud. Listen to me.
-
If you think you are humble enough, then you're proud.
-
That's pride. Our my boss, my partner, my
-
boss, the consul of Israel. Every time we meet, he's older.
-
He was. He's one of the people whom God
-
used as like a father to me ever since, OK?
-
Ever since when? Even before, when he was not a
-
consulate. But what happens is that every
-
time we meet, we race even without the Dali.
-
We race on taking their hand. It's just because we want to.
-
McManus English. What do you call that?
-
OK, There's no word in English, bless or whatever.
-
But look, he, he doesn't have to do that.
-
Do you understand? Lumba Anaya, we call this in
-
Cebuano, Lumba aneta Paobos. Listen, that's never heard in
-
the world. In the world, Lumba aneta patas,
-
we call it the ladder of success, right?
-
How many of you have heard ladder of success in the Kingdom
-
of God? It's different Ladder of
-
success. Remove your thigh and all of
-
your suit, wear a rug and serve. I would rather do that than than
-
to go around with all the medals, with all the, the rank,
-
the titles. Amen, Amen.
-
Because you know what? If you live, if you promote
-
yourself, look at me. If you promote yourself, how
-
would you look like? If you stand before God, the
-
Glorious 1, you will feel ashamed because you've been
-
prideful on earth. And the truth is there's nothing
-
you can do apart from him. Everything you have, everything
-
that you are, all the things that you can call your asset are
-
not yours, not yours. If you understand that, you
-
would fear God and say God, I am nobody.
-
You know, Aqua Andrelim, when he shared in in his training camp
-
in Eagle's Rock, he said, I'm so grateful to God because it was
-
God who helped me understand about farming.
-
There are so many people who want to understand this, but
-
they cannot understand. But I understood it because of
-
God. And I really thought about that
-
because sometimes I teach, I said this is so simple, but
-
people cannot understand. And I said, why do you see?
-
You realize that you have nothing?
-
Because unless God will make you understand, you will not
-
understand. So what can we do?
-
Can we boast? There's nothing to boast about
-
because even your very life, your very breath, your, your
-
heartbeat is not yours. It's a borrowed time.
-
It's a borrowed light. What can you boast about?
-
Nothing. I have one thing to boast about.
-
I will boast in knowing Him. Some boast in Chariots, some
-
boast in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord
-
our God. You know that song?
-
Who knows that song? 1 two.
-
OK, they're all three. OK, three people.
-
It's from from Ernie Palacios. Some boast in Chariots,
-
OK, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait up.
-
I know you don't understand why we why do we have to boast with
-
Chariots? Look at me, Look at me.
-
What is the finest, the most expensive car today?
-
Rolls Royce. Bentley.
-
Ha Ben Bentley, Bentley. Lamborghini.
-
Lamborghini. OK, look, these are expensive
-
cars in the old times. They don't have those cars.
-
They have Chariots. They decorate it with gold, you
-
understand? That's why there's some boast in
-
Chariots. Or let's just say some boast
-
with what What Car again? OK, so we don't both on having
-
expensive cars. Amen.
-
But people when they ride expensive cars, they feel like,
-
oh, I'm higher, I'm greater, I'm more successful because I have
-
an expensive pickup truck or whatever you have I have, right.
-
That's the temptation. Be careful.
-
That's not yours. Even your very life is not
-
yours. That's why some boast in Chario,
-
some boast in horses. Horses means what?
-
Strength. Military life or military
-
strength or power? Power.
-
Horsepower. But we will boast in who?
-
The name of the room. So that's not my song.
-
So the song Are you ready for the OK, I'm sorry spontaneous
-
and your song Ganina. OK past 12 now.
-
OK. Did you learn something today?
-
So I want to every time we share, make it simple, but I
-
want to download the impart to you the heart, because we are
-
preparing the body of Christ for the return of the king.
-
When we face God, delete that. We don't need to feel ashamed.
-
Say, Oh God, I've been so boastful about myself, my life.
-
No need can say. How can say get 100 selfie
-
selfie? No, it's there's nothing wrong
-
with selfie. You want to take picture
-
remembrance, etcetera. But there are people when they
-
do selfies because they, they like, you know, they it's like a
-
little bit adore, they adore them.
-
I mean, they yeah, it's like for self, you know, don't do that.
-
You don't need to. If there's something that you
-
want to promote more on Facebook, that's my king.
-
That's our God. Amen.
-
Promote Jesus. Let's sing this song.
-
Let's stand on our feet. Jesus is the great high priest,
-
He's the king, but he humbled himself, right?
-
Sing. By the way, you cannot worship
-
God if you lift yourself. He must increase and you must
-
decrease. It's the attitude of the heart.
-
So let's love the Lord our God and honor Him and thank Him for
-
all the things that He has granted us.
-
Amen. Can we do that in prayer?
-
Just one minute. Right now let us thank the Lord,
-
Say God, Salamatika regudi aye and rasonga nung nakko nakko
-
kinabuhi pagua. There's nothing we have that
-
that that we own for ourselves. Every good and perfect gift
-
comes from above. Hallelujah.
-
Thank you, Jesus, now let's ask God.
-
Lord, grant us the opportunity to serve you.
-
We will serve you and ask God. Lord, give me the kind of heart.
-
Give me a humble spirit. Lord, teach me how to humble
-
myself. Teach me not to be critical.
-
Oh God, teach me how to forgive others.
-
Oh God, teach me your ways. Oh God, teach me your ways.
-
You are the shepherd of our soul.
-
honoring our prayer, our song. Make us a servant, Lord, let
-
there be a lip, lip of change and transformation to each one
-
of us so we can honor you, so we can serve you, so we can be Lord
-
your, your conduit. So God, in Jesus mighty name, we
-
want to be your vessels here, noble vessels here on earth.
-
So help us Lord, bring the change.
-
Only you can change us, Lord, change us so people will see
-
that you are alive in US. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.
-
And now the Lord bless you and keep you.
-
May the Lord light the light of His countenance upon us and give
-
us his peace. May the grace of the Lord Jesus
-
Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be
-
with us all and all of God's people say Amen and Amen.
-
God bless you. Everyone, be the servant of all.
-
OK, God bless you.
