-
I want to share something very simple, but I want you to
-
contemplate about this. The title is the greatest
-
achievement in life or the greatest achievement we can
-
achieve in life? This must be our greatest goal
-
in life, which is commanded, which is approved by God
-
Himself. God has placed his seal of
-
approval with this goal of ours. This goal is not based on our on
-
our thinking, on our own desires, feelings.
-
It's not our planning. This goal is has something to do
-
with God himself. Because one day we will die,
-
correct? No mortal man or no flesh can
-
live forever. No flesh is eternal.
-
Do you agree with me? Mere man will die.
-
OK. And then when we die after we
-
pass from this life, All right, What happens next?
-
What happens after we die? Will we be excited to meet God
-
while we are still here? Right now we should prepare.
-
What do we do knowing that one day we are going to die and live
-
this planet, live this, this blanket, this, what we call
-
this, this the the shirt. You know our body is like a
-
shirt. When we leave this flesh, are we
-
ready? I give you a tip.
-
You prepare a pasalubum. Now I know there is no word in
-
English for that. Pasalubum means something to
-
bring home or a souvenir. OK, so before you meet God, you
-
prepare your pasa lubong, your bring home here.
-
So when you, you know, get to heaven, when you stand before
-
God, you have a pasa lubong. That pasa lubong is something
-
that he is expecting that he wants.
-
Who among you here? When you have a friend who will
-
travel abroad, you say, hey, don't forget my bring home.
-
Don't forget my pasa lubong, and then you will pick what pasalubo
-
you want, OK? You will require, oh, I want
-
this, I want that, OK, Now that is the Lord.
-
He specified what pasalubo He wanted from us, what pasalubo He
-
expects from us, Amen. So we need to know what He
-
requires, what expects of us, The criteria, which is the
-
criteria for success, Amen. And this success is a time task.
-
Everybody say time task that. That's why you see the picture.
-
You have the heart right there. Your heart is beating.
-
If that beating stops, only God can do that.
-
That's the end. It can stop at any time.
-
That's why you are, you are breathing light right now while
-
you're alive. That is grace and mercy.
-
There is nothing to be proud of ourselves.
-
We cannot be, we should not be prideful of anything.
-
There is nothing in us that we can boast about.
-
And then God is, you know, impressed.
-
God is not impressed with anything we can do.
-
No, he's not. There's nothing that we have
-
that does not come from him. There's nothing good that we
-
have that does not originated from Him.
-
Amen. Now listen up.
-
You see the clock in the heart. It is time and you will have to
-
finish your task, the task that is expected of you and me,
-
before your time is up. This is the truth.
-
Only God knows the time of our death.
-
When you go to the cemetery, what you see, some are big, some
-
are small. People die in all ages.
-
Not everybody dies at their old age.
-
No, some die very young. So here's my point.
-
How do you know when your time comes?
-
You don't, you will not know. But people who work in hospital,
-
right? Doctor praise those who work in
-
hospital. I mean, to see people dying
-
every day is normal. But all of us will, will face
-
the same faith because everything on this earth with
-
the sinful world, it's all bound to fail, to deteriorate, to
-
decay, subject to decay. Are you listening?
-
Job 14-5 says you have decided how long people should live.
-
You control the number of months that each person will live.
-
Nobody can live any longer than that.
-
Wow. But sometimes we think, Lord,
-
why? But listen up.
-
The sovereign God who is the source of life, does he have the
-
right to choose how long each should live?
-
Yeah, because he made you and me.
-
If he says your time is up today, it's up today.
-
If God says you have one month to live, you have one month to
-
live. But the problem is this.
-
We don't know when our time is up.
-
That's why we ought to live as though it is the last month of
-
our lives. Don't leave us though.
-
Oh, I have so many plans. I'm going to do this.
-
I'm going to build that. Yeah, that's good.
-
Long term vision is good. But remember, try to do things,
-
work on things. Glorify God with your life as
-
though it's your last week or last month wisdom.
-
That's why David said teach us how to numbers are how to
-
numbers and number our days are right.
-
Hello. Set the right priorities.
-
If it is not your priority, don't do it.
-
Man. I hope other friends will not be
-
offended, but man, I don't want to mention that anymore.
-
OK, so that is why I have to pick what meetings I should
-
attend to because you might be wasting time on other things or
-
it's better for you to sit down in front of your computer and
-
try start evangelizing, preaching the gospel.
-
Hello now guys, I'm giving you wisdom right now because I want
-
on graduation day on the Bhima judgment, I want to clap the
-
loudest to applaud my brethren receiving awards from the
-
creator because you have done your job well done, good and
-
faithful servant. Amen.
-
So what do we do? This is this is the goal.
-
Our goal is a time task. Our focus must be focus on the
-
most important task, which is to go and make disciples for
-
Christ, for Christ of Christ. Don't you ever think make
-
disciples my disciples, ha, ha, ha, and expect rewards from God.
-
Oh come on, those are your disciples.
-
Remember those disciples of yours, those people you are
-
discipling? They are not really yours.
-
Don't claim it. Give God the glory.
-
It's in Matthew 2819 to 20. That's the reason why they are
-
not our disciples. Make disciples of Christ, or for
-
Christ it says Matthew 2819 Therefore go and make disciples
-
of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
-
of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 2020 and teaching them
-
to obey. What?
-
Everything I have commanded you, and I am surely with you always
-
to the very end of the age. My point here, friends, is
-
simple. The things that you will teach
-
the people you are discipling are not your teachings.
-
They are not your principles. The lifestyle that you're trying
-
to impart to the people you're discipling are His.
-
It's from the Lord Jesus Christ. What is the Lord trying to
-
produce? He is trying to produce a Christ
-
like character, a true follower of Christ, a godly person, not
-
like us, but like him, but will not be us, him.
-
Now remember, that's a different story, OK, Amen.
-
Amen. To be Christ like doesn't mean
-
you can replace Christ or you are equal with Christ.
-
That's another story. Remember the creator, the word
-
that made everything, the word that became flesh, the Lord
-
Jesus Christ. Remember the Creator will always
-
be the Creator. The created beings will not
-
replace nor level up to become equal to its creator.
-
Make sure you understand that you do not promote yourself.
-
Do not promote yourself to be like gods because that is not
-
the context. When Jesus said did I didn't I
-
tell you you were gods? No, no, no, no, no.
-
You go back to the book of Psalms because Jesus was telling
-
them you because gods were the that is how the judges in the
-
Old Testament were called. Here we have the whole of
-
justice before in the old, in ancient Israel, they call it the
-
gods. OK, so he was not really talking
-
about us becoming gods or equal with the God.
-
He was really actually talking about those judges of long ago,
-
those the people that they call gods.
-
Actually they were judges that can be bribed.
-
Do you understand that is from the book of Psalms.
-
Now I'm not here to talk about that.
-
My point friends, is this, that we wanted to make disciples for
-
Christ Jesus, not our disciples. So we disciple because Jesus
-
called us to disciple. Jesus wanted us to relay the his
-
teachings. Amen, Amen, Amen.
-
And so ladies and gentlemen, the motive of the heart is very
-
important. We will stand before God.
-
You may be, you may have done a great ministry, you may have so
-
many people following you, you may have so many people liking
-
your preaching online. You may have so you may be so
-
successful in ministry, but yet yet God is not glorified because
-
everything goes back to you because God can read the mind
-
and the heart, He understand and he knows if you have taken his
-
glory or not. Now the Bible says I am Adonai,
-
I will not share my glory to any other.
-
You see that is the Lord our God.
-
So once God is using US, the more important reminder, OK, I'm
-
now at the end of my presentation.
-
I'm just OK. Everything flows.
-
The important reminder when God is using you, greatly expanding
-
your territory spiritually blessing the work of your hands
-
and ministry with great success, and when people speak highly of
-
you and you feel needed and essential.
-
Remember to stay low, stay humble, and not to fall into the
-
temptation of wanting to feel important.
-
Be careful because the enemy is right there behind your success,
-
friends, the enemy standing right there.
-
And you know what? Encouraging you to boast about
-
it, to be proud of who you are, to be proud of what you've done.
-
Listen to friends. Don't fall into the temptation
-
to feel that you are important, John said.
-
May he increase and I decrease. This is how we measure maturity
-
in Christ. When a person becomes so proud
-
in his words, that is an immature Christian or not a
-
Christian at all, maybe a politician who makes promises
-
and not do it. Because people change.
-
When money comes, they quickly change and they start to betray
-
everyone and they don't care. You know why they can do that?
-
Why they can steal our taxes with ghost projects.
-
Because they don't have the fear of the Lord.
-
They don't feel accountable that one day they're going to stand
-
before God. And there is no ombudsman, no
-
Senate, no Congress, no president can save them.
-
All of them will stand before God.
-
And they don't fear God at all. And I don't want you to be like
-
them. Who does not fear the Lord?
-
Because if somebody fears the Lord, they will be like
-
Zacchaeus. You remember Zacchaeus?
-
He said I'm going to return from people those I have, you know,
-
Hangi Kapit Yehangi, he stole he.
-
Yeah, from, you know, he's a tax collector.
-
But he said I'm going to return it.
-
Wow. Restitution.
-
That's repentance. Will that happen in the
-
Philippines? I don't think so.
-
I have no hope for this, Philippines, I'm telling you,
-
the Bible says we will experience righteousness, godly
-
governance when Jesus comes and to reign and establish his
-
millennial Kingdom. Oh, God, I wish it could happen,
-
could start tomorrow. Listen, if someone appreciates
-
the outcome of your ministry, simply say thank you.
-
But the Lord was the musician, and I was only the musical
-
instrument. It was really the Lord's mercy
-
and favor working in us. Without Him we can do nothing.
-
So He deserves all the glory. May He increase and I decrease.
-
Do you understand when somebody says to you, Oh, I'm so blessed
-
with your ministry, say thank you.
-
But we give God the glory. So who deserves the glory?
-
It's God, not us. Anything you have is not yours.
-
Nothing. What you know, what you
-
understand, your wisdom, your skill, they are all entrustments
-
and God is expecting profit from your entrustments.
-
How many people are blessed with those entrustments?
-
That's why Kuya Pati said last Sunday, hello, respond to God's
-
call, Amen. Serve the Lord while you can.
-
And today it is a continuation. I'm challenging you again.
-
Allow God to use you. So friends, our focus, our goal,
-
our highest achievement will be that of a disciple, maker,
-
person, make disciples. You see those scriptures?
-
I'm not going to read the content.
-
You take a picture, read it at home, get things done #2 ASAP.
-
Why? Why ASAP?
-
Why not waste time? Because it is a time task,
-
meaning to say you don't know when your time is up.
-
You better finish the job. How many of you, you, you know,
-
while you were when you were a student, you have an assignment
-
and you don't do your assignment until it's and then you do
-
cramming because you're going to pass your assignment tomorrow.
-
Oh, very good job. Don't do that in the Kingdom of
-
God. While you have more time, you go
-
home and start working on your project.
-
Amen. I understand.
-
I was a student too. I'm still a student today.
-
Due today. Due today.
-
That's not a good principle. Yeah, but thank you for that.
-
Now I learned something. Do today, do today, man, Lord,
-
one more day. Don't Take Me Home now.
-
I will serve you one more day. What can you do in one day?
-
Can you make disciples in one day?
-
Takes a long time to make disciples for Christ.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
So what do we do? Do it now.
-
And the Bible says see to it that you complete the ministry
-
assignment you receive from the Lord.
-
See those scriptures right here, 123 read it.
-
It's all there. I'm not making this up.
-
I may not be reading the content of the Scriptures, but I'm
-
telling you the point, the context of the scriptures.
-
OK, let me I want to finish as soon as possible.
-
Learn from those who have gone ahead of us.
-
Is that wisdom? OK, let's learn from Jesus
-
himself. Is that, is he a good model?
-
OK, this is the Lord Jesus Christ before the crucifixion,
-
which is the final mission on earth to save man.
-
He was, he came first. He came as the sin offering.
-
He died in our place. He paid the price.
-
We owe the debt. We owe the debt.
-
We are the sinners, but he paid our sins for our sins.
-
So that's the greatest thing. So, but before that crucifixion,
-
before he was hung on the cross, he prayed to the Father.
-
But according to Doctor James Lee, to clear James, he said the
-
Lord presented his ministry report through prayer.
-
It was actually a ministry report.
-
Now this is using exegesis. Let's read John 17 one, it says
-
after Jesus said this, he looked towards heaven, towards heaven
-
and prayed. Did he pray?
-
Yes, Father, the hour has come. Glorify your son, that your son
-
may glorify you. Honor your Son, affirm your son
-
with your presence, the presence that I had with you from the
-
beginning. Do you understand?
-
So it's like, you know, the kind of relationship between the
-
Father, Son and Holy Spirit becoming one as God.
-
But Jesus had to become man. He left his throne, his being,
-
his deity, He's being, he's being a God.
-
His godhood came to earth as a man to represent man on the
-
cross. But he said, Lord, it's like
-
glorify your son because you know, mission accomplished.
-
Verse 4, Everybody read verse 4, ready go.
-
I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you
-
work you gave me to do. Do you understand that when we
-
do, when we obey God, when we do what God tells us to do, we give
-
glory to God? Not just singing.
-
You can sing all day long and not live right.
-
It's called hypocrisy. You can attend Maranatha and
-
sing the whole day and you have a beautiful voice and you can
-
shed many tears, 1010 liters of tears crying to God.
-
But if you live like demons and you become so haughty and proud
-
like Satan, I don't think so. God is glorified.
-
I don't think God will be glorified with that because you
-
know what? God is glorified with the fruit
-
of your life. Give glory to God.
-
That's why it says whatever you do, whether you know, you think
-
or whatever, make sure you give glory to God.
-
Verse 6 everybody, please, I have revealed you to those whom
-
you gave me out of this world. What is that thing again that
-
Jesus is talking about? I have revealed you to to those
-
whom you gave me meaning to say the Lord God gave Jesus the
-
people, the PO PS or what is POP again, person of peace.
-
They were yours. Jesus said you gave them to me
-
and they have obeyed your word. Are you listening?
-
Discipleship are people who will learn how to obey the word of
-
God. Those who attend your deepest,
-
those who attend your Bible studies, some will not continue.
-
They will not obey. They will not continue because
-
they cannot obey the word of God.
-
Do you understand? Amen.
-
But disciples will remain. No matter what happens, they
-
will remain in Christ. They may be transferring from
-
one church because they may be moving to another place, but
-
what's important is that they remain in Christ.
-
Listen up. Listen verse 7.
-
Now they know that everything you have given me comes from
-
you, for I have, for I gave them the words you gave me, and they
-
accepted them. So another mark or trademark of
-
a disciple is that they will accept the Word of God, Amen.
-
When you share the Word of God, they receive it.
-
They knew, it says they knew with certainty that I came from
-
you and they believe that you sent me.
-
I pray for them. I am not praying for the world,
-
but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
-
Listen up. It's like Jesus giving his
-
report, saying, Father, this is my ministry report.
-
The people you gave me, I lost none of them except one who is
-
doomed to destruction. But he said besides him, the
-
people you sent me, they belong to you.
-
I gave them your word and they accepted it.
-
Hello. Is this agenda between the
-
Father and the Son important? It is.
-
It may not be that important to us, but in the Kingdom of God
-
the most important agenda are disciples.
-
Hello, are you listening? So the summary is this.
-
The prayer in John 17 was about the honor that God that the Lord
-
Jesus had done to glorify His Father.
-
He glorified the Father by completing the earthly ministry
-
given to Him. And that ministry is the
-
ministry of discipling those whom God sends.
-
He will send you. That's why we told you right DPS
-
facilitators, do you remember we told you pray that God will send
-
you PO PS Keep on praying there will be more.
-
OK, Disciple making is fundamentally an act of
-
obedience to Jesus Great Commission which is the core
-
mission of a Christian of the Christian Church.
-
This ministry involves the process of teaching, modeling,
-
releasing believers to become obedient followers of Christ who
-
can in turn what disciple others make, disciples who will
-
disciple others. I was encouraged with the
-
testimony of Goya James Lee. By the way, James Lee is the one
-
who we invited twice already to conduct seminars on Rapture, but
-
he is not really promoting poster or what.
-
He is promoting hermeneutics because if you apply
-
hermeneutics in studying the end times, you will end up
-
understanding the pre tribe is not biblical.
-
OK, And you will understand the right position or the viewpoint
-
or what Jesus, what the apostle Paul, what John the beloved,
-
what the rest of the writers, authors of the books in the in
-
the Bible, what they really teach about the end times.
-
OK, I understand that's why exigesis and hermeneutics is so
-
important. Friends, don't just take any
-
doctrine because somebody said this is the this is the right
-
doctrine. No study it yourself.
-
That's why I always ask, you know, when I when I read online
-
and I see all of this false hope teachers, I always say when it
-
where in the Bible does it say that rapture will take place
-
before the seven years tribulation?
-
No one can answer because even I cannot answer.
-
You know why? Because the Lord Jesus Christ
-
never supported that, never mentioned by Paul.
-
It's just a wishy wishy wishful thinking.
-
I am telling you this. Read it.
-
OK now this is the final product he sent.
-
Listen up. The final product of our
-
ministry must be disciples. Well, James, he said, I came to
-
realize that the final product of our ministry must be
-
disciples. That's how Jesus presented his
-
final project report in John 17. Four.
-
It was not about organizations. Are you listening?
-
It was not about organizations. Look at me.
-
Look at me. Look at me.
-
I have joined, I have created, I made so many organizations and
-
Jesus and etcetera, etcetera. But I don't expect to receive an
-
award or be recognized with that because we have done so many
-
events and programs. Do you know Metro Front?
-
How many of you are Metro Front? Also fun.
-
Oh, evangelism, was that good? Yes, did we Did we gave people
-
the opportunity to respond to the gospel of Christ?
-
Yes or no? Yes, but how many stayed?
-
How many continued after them receiving Jesus as Lord and
-
Savior? Do you understand the gold
-
right? There are not the number of
-
people that attended our programs and meeting the real
-
treasure. There are disciples.
-
The greatest model on earth, listen up, is the Lord Jesus
-
Christ Himself. Do you agree?
-
He did not have 1000 disciples in his lifetime.
-
How many did he have? It's 12 -, 1 + 1.
-
We're not better than our maker. Amen.
-
So friends, listen up. Focus on disciple making, join
-
DBS, join a Home group, start your your your start
-
facilitating at DBS. I'm telling you that is the work
-
that is expected of us and it's time frame.
-
It's a time task because we don't know when our time is up.
-
Hello. So it's not about organizations.
-
This is from Gwia James Lee. Not about numbers, not about
-
buildings or how big is your church, you know, or is it air
-
conditioned like this one or, or It's not about records of
-
miracles and achievements. It's not about your medal
-
certificate. It's not about recognition from
-
the government or other people. It's not about those things.
-
Those are nothing but papers only on planet earth.
-
What will matter the most? Disciples.
-
So my challenge friends, is this time is running up.
-
Do you have people following you now?
-
If you're just walking alone with your journey in Christ,
-
you're just taking a walk. You're not making disciples
-
because no one is following you. If you're a disciple maker, if
-
you're a mentor, you have a mentory Reese.
-
People will be following you. That is your goal.
-
That is our goal. How many people are submitting
-
to Christ through our leadership, through our life or
-
are you disciple someone and you are not decide you are not being
-
discipled yourself. That's another problem right
-
there. In fact that is that is that
-
invites more trouble if you're trying to disciple other people
-
and you're not submitted. You want people to submit to
-
you, but you don't want to submit to any authorities.
-
That's a big problem. You know why?
-
Because you are going to produce stubborn people like you.
-
And there was silence. That is a big trouble right
-
there. It begins with us.
-
Amen. We all need someone to mentor
-
us, to check us, to have authority to correct us.
-
If we hate correction, Whoa. Don't expect people to receive
-
correction because a day is coming they will not accept
-
correction. So it's not about all of these
-
records of miracles and achievements, but men who knew
-
God, how did they came to know the Lord?
-
It is through the work of the Holy Spirit.
-
The Holy Spirit will regenerate their spirit and they will, once
-
the Spirit is alive, they will understand that they need a
-
Savior, they need to repent. They will respond, and they will
-
submit to authorities. Amen.
-
And one day soon, listen, there's going to be a Bhima
-
awarding ceremony at the judgment seat of Christ.
-
And like the song, I can only imagine.
-
What would be like when that day comes.
-
I can only imagine it's like Lord, the Lord will reward you,
-
but you say God, I, I don't deserve this.
-
I'm just the instrument. You deserve all the glory, God,
-
you deserve all the honor. So always remember, only God
-
takes the glory, Amen. So, friends, let's make
-
disciples.
