  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your team today. God is God has been working in my

  3. life, has always been, and even for the past month, just preparing,

  4. just praying over and seeing how what God is speaking to me, even

  5. especially from the twenty third anniversaries celebration of X Church. Right exactly one month

  6. from today last month, twenty sixth of February. Right, today's the twenty

  7. sixth of March, twenty sixth of February. That was this word declared right

  8. pass a Kenneth declared revival. Right declared revival. And he also and our

  9. church team today this year. The church team this year is Heaven Rules.

  10. Heaven Rules Right. Taken from Daniel chapter four Right, Daniel chapter four.

  11. So I have also been studying the chapter the Book of Daniel, chapter four,

  12. all right, and I believe that almost every week every speaker is speaking

  13. also about Daniel chapter four. It's amazing. But this part is very interesting

  14. when I read about it from Daniel chapter four five, verse five, all

  15. right and twenty six to thirty one. If you're taking notes, you can

  16. write it down. Daniel chapter four, verse five, verse twenty six to

  17. thirty one. All right, so maybe have the slide please. So today's

  18. word, if you have one, to have a title for it is our

  19. verse the first Yes, perseverance, Oh, perseverance. We need to hear

  20. this word again. Perseverance. Heaven rules towards the finishing lines. Church,

  21. come on, let's do this. Let's cheer each other on. We are

  22. in this together, all right, So let's let's read the word of God

  23. today. Daniel, Chapter four. Yeah, next life. So yes,

  24. children, if you're here with us, you can see the picture there.

  25. It's taken from super book. Who likes super book? Awesome? Super bowlk

  26. yes? Okay, yeah, So that is King Nabuchner. All right.

  27. Can you see that he's wearing a blue blue robe yes and a blue head.

  28. And that's the king. King Nabuken is a He is a very powerful

  29. king. He is a very very powerful king. So so this in ject

  30. Daniel, chapter four, it's about a dream that King Nabucchande is a head.

  31. So in verse five reads, this is King ken is a writing Daniel

  32. chapter four. Okay, okay, so okay, if you have your Bible,

  33. you can also turn to that. Okay. Verse five all right,

  34. King Nebuch says, I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the

  35. thoughts on my bed and the visions on my head troubled me. So he

  36. had this nightmare. Yeah, everybody had nightmare before, right, Yes,

  37. nightmare. Wow, he's so scared. He saw something that is like troubling

  38. him. Okay, so we jumped. So he had a dream. He

  39. shared this dream too to Daniel. Okay, yeah, so cut long,

  40. long story shot. He shared this dream to Daniel, and Daniel interpreted the

  41. dream for him. Okay, let's jump to verse twenty six. So so

  42. Daniel explained interpreted the dream for King Nabuchanezer and and he he also gave an

  43. advice. So from verse twenty six, Daniel, that's that's Daniel. Everybody

  44. can see Daniel, right, he see white nice shit, white shit,

  45. and he is yeah, he's so young. Okay, he's a young man,

  46. right like some of us here, right. Okay, So verse twenty

  47. six, Daniel says, and in as much as they gave the commandment to

  48. leave the stump and root the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be

  49. assured to you after you come to know that heaven rules. So this is

  50. where our church get the theme about heaven rules right. In verse twenty six,

  51. Okay, so I'm just summarizing everything here, Daniel is telling interpreting the

  52. dream too to the king and finalizing summarizing the interpretation. Okay, next line

  53. verse twenty seven, and he Daniel continue to say, therefore, old King,

  54. let my advice be acceptable to you. Break off your sins by being

  55. righteous and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be

  56. a lengthening of your prosperity verse twenty eight. Next line, Okay, so

  57. Daniel, Daniel advised him and gave him give King Nebuchiza and the advice right.

  58. Verse twenty eight says all this came upon King nabuchanizer. Can you see

  59. the king? Children can ride? So he's like, wow, so tall

  60. his head also even taller. He looks so tall. Right, So if

  61. you're a bit tall, you can where tall hat then you look tall,

  62. yeah, like King Nebuchadiza. Okay, right, So and verstern united,

  63. he says, at the end of twelve months, one year later, he

  64. was walking about the Royal Palace of Babylon, right, he was just looking

  65. like in the picture. Later he was just looking at his empire. Right.

  66. One year later the king verse the t says, the king spoke saying,

  67. is not this great Babylon that I have built for a royal dwelling in

  68. my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty. Wow? He said,

  69. like wow, But just for your information, one year actually didn't just

  70. pass without doing nothing, you know, he there was actually something happened within

  71. these twelve months. Babylon actually conquered Egypt. You know Egypt, you read

  72. always Egypt, powerful nation. Like this morning just now Passenge was just saying,

  73. Egyba, it's a powerful nation. People come and seek help to Egypt.

  74. You know, it's powerful. It's a very big country. It's so

  75. powerful that you know that people can even seek help, you know, like

  76. like Joseph, you know last time then they have no food. They came

  77. to Josephs family came to Egypt to get food. You know, it's very

  78. is full of resources and everything. But Babylon conquered Egypt, can you imagine?

  79. So king that was the reign of King and Buchanizer. And besides that,

  80. so he's his empire extended. And then he also built very he extended

  81. his walls. You know, Babylon became built like three layers of walls even

  82. and built more temples of for many gods, you know, because it's a

  83. nation who believes in many many gods. So he built more more temples,

  84. and his kingdom was Wow. I mean, I was just just watching this

  85. documentary about Babylon of kingdom. It's amazing. This twelve years, so much

  86. has been done, okay, and he says that he did it all with

  87. his mighty power, and he's so happy with his achievements. He's like a

  88. self made man like that, like, ah, you know, so good

  89. lah. But he forgot. He forgot about what his nightmare dream was.

  90. The nightmare dream that he had was was such shaking you know just now he

  91. read earlier right that it shook him and it really terrified him. But he

  92. forgot. How can you forget such an important nightmare? I don't know.

  93. Yeah, a message from God, a vision from God. And even Daniel

  94. at why is him, Hey, you need to do something about it.

  95. So that's why Daniel advised him. But he forgot, and he became proud

  96. and all of himself again. So in verse the one, it says while

  97. the word was still in the king's mouth. A voice fell from heaven,

  98. King Nabuchneza to you, it is spoken, the kingdom has departed from you.

  99. Can you see the picture? Can children? Can you see the picture?

  100. Is that an animal? Or is that? I don't know why?

  101. Can you see? Why is it? What is it? Who is that?

  102. Or what is that? That is King Nabuchneza, the king who wear

  103. tall hat, the king who had nice, nice rob now is wearing his

  104. shd also broken already. And uh yeah, his hair so long. Yeah,

  105. it looks like an animal. Right, look look at what is in

  106. his mouth. Actually cannot really see, lou but he's holding a grass and

  107. he's eating grass. And if you can see closer, you can see his

  108. nails so long. No, but no, Mommy and Daddy cut the nails

  109. for him anymore. His nails so so long. You see. Yeah,

  110. he became like an animal. The Word of God says he lost his mind.

  111. He couldn't you know. God just removed everything from him, and the

  112. kingdom was also removed from him. While such an crazy, crazy and experience,

  113. when we are so proud of ourselves and we are not dependent on him.

  114. While you know, Church family friends. You know, humans easily forget

  115. from day one, right, we'read in the Bible or you're read in history.

  116. Humans easily forget. Our memory is like so shot, right, And

  117. because we easily forget, we are easily influenced, and we easily give up.

  118. Yes, is human beings. God knows. God knows our weakness.

  119. God knows how we we found. But God is faithful. Amen. God

  120. is faithful. He is so good that even though we are faithless, he

  121. is faithful. We forget, but he remembers when we feel like giving up,

  122. he still continue to be faithful to us to love us. While such

  123. an amazing and faithful God we served. Yeah, so, but as but

  124. the word of God, do help us to understand? Like, how can

  125. we how as humans? How can we continue to remember? How can we

  126. not forget the word of God so that we don't be like king that buganis

  127. all right? Next life? All right? So, yes, next life.

  128. So that's why we want to remind us or just encourage us again that

  129. hey, we are all here as believers of the Lord Jesus Christ. We

  130. are in this race. The Christian life is a race. Yeah, the

  131. journey of the Christian life is a race which has a victory. Pride is

  132. at the end to those who win. Anyone has been to Spots Day and

  133. our children, have you been to Spots Day? Have you seen Spots Day?

  134. Running? Yeah? Running? Yes? Yes, at the end,

  135. the winner will get the medal, right, medal or trophy? Right,

  136. right, whoever wins? Right. So similarly, as Christians, as believers

  137. of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are in this race. Right. The

  138. Christian life is a race, but it is not a sprint. A sprint

  139. is like running. Also, so fast until you get what is of us?

  140. Like that? Yes? Okay, the Christian life is a race,

  141. but it's not a sprint. Right. It's a long distance run. Run

  142. to win? Yeah, you're running will take some time, right, it

  143. will take It's a long distance run. So we need to pace ourselves,

  144. right, So yes, so before I say more, Yeah, let's go

  145. to the next light. So perseverance, right, a few pointers if you're

  146. taking notes? Right, As Christians, as believers of the Lord Jesus Christ,

  147. we are in this race. So what can we do to remember the

  148. word of God? To always stay focused is to always focus with the end

  149. in my children, Can you see the picture here. Can you see the

  150. picture here? Can you see this white line there? You know it's not

  151. it's not a picture error. Okay, it's a it's the finishing line.

  152. It's so clear, it's white line across the picture. Yeah, that's the

  153. finishing line, but you cannot see the runners. The runners are like so

  154. blur. Right, So this picture is telling us to focus on that line,

  155. that finishing line. You know, let's focus on finishing line, the

  156. finish the work. Right. But before we want to not just see the

  157. finishing line. We want to understand the finishing or what is this line about

  158. in our lives? Right? So next time the goal God has given us

  159. all a goal, especially here in ex church. Here when you are here

  160. together with us, our brothers and sisters, and if you're new here and

  161. you are deciding to join us, we will welcome you. But we want

  162. to share with you this goal that God has given us as a church,

  163. that that in habitook Chapter two, verse fourteen. It says, but the

  164. time is coming when the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory

  165. of the Lord, as the waters covered as you are. So many words.

  166. What does that mean? You know? This simply just means that God

  167. wants everyone to know about Jesus, about who God is, so amazing,

  168. God is so faithful, he wants all the earth. Okay, while you

  169. say, while the globe is like so big, maybe let's bring it to

  170. context here in Cyberjaya. God wants our papa. God wants our yeah,

  171. yeah, gong gong, our grandfather, grandmother. Don't understands are we translating

  172. our cousins, our our classmates, o, our neighbors, our lecturers.

  173. God wants every one of them to know who this amazing God is. That's

  174. the goal. That's the finishing line. That's that's it so simple, right,

  175. that's the goal. Right as a church, That's why we do everything,

  176. with all our efforts, with everything that we have, our time,

  177. treasure, and talent towards this goal. How to achieve it while the worlds

  178. will be how to achieve How to tell our popole, how to tell our

  179. gong gong, our grandfather, our lecturer, our friends in school, our

  180. our our colleagues at work. How do we tell them? Wow, so

  181. many things we can share, so many things, we can share our testimonies

  182. and all. But before that, before we do anything or tell anything next

  183. life. How to get to that goal next life is the mission is to

  184. go and make disciples. So to reach that goal, to so that our

  185. Papa Hong Kong, yeah yeah, grandfather, grandmother, everyone, our neighbors,

  186. our everyone to know before we can get them to know who Jesus is.

  187. The first we first must be disciples of Jesus Christ. Of course,

  188. you can only share something that you know, right, You can't share something

  189. that you don't know, right, that's yeah. So, so that's why

  190. we are here. We are all here to grow to know Jesus better.

  191. To make disciples simply just means to become more like Jesus in every way,

  192. in every way, the way he's so kind, the way he is so

  193. generous, the way that he loves people, the way that he's so so

  194. passionate about the Word of God, the way he loves the House of the

  195. Lord, the way he speaks to people or to people who are outcast,

  196. you know. And this is what we are doing. Focus with the end

  197. in mind. How to reach the goal is by making disciples that make not

  198. a difference, but making the difference, the difference, right, the difference

  199. that matters. Yeah, So we are here here EX Church. We are

  200. here in ex Cyberjaya doing this, Okay, reaching the goal by making disciples

  201. that make the difference. So I just want to share with us that EX

  202. Church today, all glory to God, All glory to God. EX Church

  203. today in Malaysia we have twelve location all over Malaysia right including Nigrisa, Milan

  204. and also draw Malaysia. And out of this twelve location, we have fifteen

  205. services discipling people, making disciples right. And internationally, we are in twelve

  206. countries as we prayed this morning for them as well. Twelve countries in fourteen

  207. locations all around the world, right, almost all continents covered almost almost yeah,

  208. getting there, getting there, discipling right, making disciples that make the

  209. difference. And we hear of so many testimonies. I tell you, every

  210. time we have conference or even at prayer services or anything you know, we

  211. have, testimony is shared. We hear people's life being changed, people's life

  212. just being so transformed, like so touched by the word of God. And

  213. because they applied the word of God in their lives and they see God working

  214. in their lives, they are just amazed and so glorifying God. You know,

  215. it's just so amazing. So we hear of testimonies and lives are changed,

  216. and it's making the difference in their lives. And from that testimony,

  217. they share it not just to the church, but they share it with their

  218. friends and as well. And we hear that other friends are hearing about it

  219. and they also want to pick it up to share the word of God,

  220. you know, And and the cycles go on. This is how we reach

  221. the goal, right, That's how we reach the goal. So yeah,

  222. so always remember we are here running the race. We want to focus with

  223. the end in mind, the goal to make the difference, right, and

  224. that's why we do. We serve each other this morning. Thank you everyone

  225. who has been serving this morning, pasta Jillian and the team and host and

  226. espresso and an air pieces sound XTV. Thank you so much for serving because

  227. we are here to help make disciples. We are doing this mission mission together

  228. to reach the goal so that every one of us here can be inspired and

  229. here to semonies and go go and make disciples and tell people about who Jesus

  230. is right right, and and also that we are here in uton, we

  231. are here in this season of prayer and fasting as well for twenty one days

  232. started last Saturday, right, already one week? How is your youth and

  233. main? Yeah? Good? Right? And I'm sure even for me as

  234. well if we're struggling or physically you know, I'm fasting one meal for lunch,

  235. but yeah, struggling, but then but then I thank God for his

  236. grace and faithfulness. Right, and my body is physically it's adjusting. But

  237. it has been an amazing time just reading the devotionals. If your home I'm

  238. sure your homies, you're sorry. Your home leaders has gave you a link

  239. where it can access to the devotion right devotional If not, please get in

  240. touch with your home leaders and ask them for the link. Is really really

  241. good and it's very powerful. Right. And you know we have been reading

  242. about how God is holy and what he demands of us as well. He's

  243. the Lord, right, yeah, so you turn, you Turnum is about

  244. praying and fasting reaching the goal? Right? What we do? What do

  245. we do when we fast and pray? In Isaiah chapter fifty eight, God

  246. tells us that when we fast, we are losing the bonds of wickedness which

  247. is in our lives, wickedness within our lives. When we fast, we

  248. realize our wickedness. God want to take that away. He wants to undo

  249. burdens. He wants to let the oppressed go free, those those of us,

  250. especially for ourselves. When we fast, we realize that we are oppressed.

  251. God want to break free, want us to break free. He wants

  252. us to break free from every yoke. You know, God, our God,

  253. is such a good God. And he and even as we as we

  254. fast and pray, God also calls us to share our break with the hungry,

  255. invite the poor who are outcast to our home, to cover the naked,

  256. to humble ourselves and serve the Lord by serving his people. Right.

  257. So, thank you all for serving today. Who those of us who are

  258. serving today, thank you so much for serving today. Yeah. So God

  259. has called us to serve him right. And you know, as we serve

  260. each other, you remember, you will remember like pastor Jack, Dactor,

  261. Jill, everyone that's here, you know you remember them. But even in

  262. our lives. Just want to challenge us next light, please, yes,

  263. So, how do you want to be remembered by? It's a powerful question

  264. that we should think about as we are here on this earth at this season

  265. of time. What do you want to be remembered. Sorry, that's a

  266. tombstone that you can also reflect it as like the end of your life,

  267. Like you know, what, what do you want people to remember you by?

  268. What would people say about you on your funeral day? Like? How

  269. that's how I think. Let's let's live our lives the way we want to

  270. be remembered. Amen. I was at Pastor Sandra's dead the late Uncle Jo

  271. power On's funeral earlier this week and Pastor Kenneth did mention that his father in

  272. law had eternity as his focus as Uncle Yo's focus, he had eternality as

  273. his focus and Uncle Yo served the Lord until his dying day at the prison.

  274. And it's just such a powerful testimony. I'm so inspired, Like wow,

  275. I want to be like that, you know, I want to serve

  276. the Lord until my dying day. Yeah, yeah, because because I love

  277. him, Like how I missed Uncle Yo also did so amazing right, so

  278. powerful, so focused with the end in mind, remembering. The goal is

  279. so that everyone will know who God, our God is, And how do

  280. we do that by making disciples in next church, we have a privilege to

  281. do that, and we have this thing where we do discipleship with one another.

  282. So you can speak to your home leaders about more about this, and

  283. your home leaders will explain to you how do we do discipleship here in our

  284. church and insteact, all of us here are connected to at least one leader.

  285. Ye have to be speaking over our lives and to guide us through to

  286. disciple us even for myself. Yeah, so let's do this together. And

  287. of course, how do we think about how do you want to be remembered

  288. by? Yeah, it's a race, okay, it's a race that we

  289. want to remember. We want to reach the goal. Okay, next light.

  290. So even in a race, we need to prepare to start well,

  291. next light please, yes, So when we prepare to start right? Okay.

  292. So there's three pictures your children. Can you see the picture? I

  293. hope it's not too small. Can you see? Yeah? I can see

  294. the picture. Right. So the first picture you can see like someone is

  295. like like practicing something, right, Like that's training you know, in a

  296. race, right, you don't just say play okay, racing there you come

  297. and then you raise No, you must train, you must train for it.

  298. You don't just go for the race, you must train for it,

  299. so that on the race there you would do your best and you will be

  300. better than the rest. Wow, you know you want to do that?

  301. Okay? And you know this this first picture right when we when we raise

  302. you know, um, even for us here in church, in ex Church,

  303. God called and led Passe Akenneth to start ex Church twenty three years ago.

  304. You know, Passkenneth well was very honoring before he start ex Church.

  305. There was a preparation before he started, and he did it very honorably.

  306. And he he was from another church of course, but God called him so

  307. cleaarly and he was a youth leader and he led a big group of use

  308. young people that time. And before he came out of the church, he

  309. of course spoke to his leaders, his pastors. He even told his youth

  310. group that you know, don't follow me if God is calling you. So

  311. all the youth, all the young people stayed back in the church. Yeah.

  312. And Pastor Kenneth left just with maybe one or two people, not everyone.

  313. So God Passe Kenneth did it very honoring. He he didn't want the

  314. youth group to you know, uh this unite. You know, he spoke

  315. to them and you know he prayed for them as well. You know,

  316. God God, Paskenneth did prepare to start well, to start ex church very

  317. well, honoring because he feared God. He wants God's blessing over the former

  318. church and also God's blessing over this church ex church that we are in right.

  319. And I really want to thank God for Passekennath for doing that, because

  320. it's it's that where we are experiencing our blessing today so important in every of

  321. our decision. I want to encourage us all in every of our decision.

  322. Let's remember to prepare to start well, honoring in every decision, in everything

  323. that we do, do what is right, Honor our leaders, honor you

  324. know, don't don't talk bad about people, don't don't you know God's sleep,

  325. you know, don't don't do such things because God is watching right so

  326. important, right and yes, So that's why in Proverbs chapter nine, will

  327. Stand the Word of God says, the fear of God is the beginning of

  328. wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. So as we

  329. fear God, God will grant us the wisdom to do what we need to

  330. do. So if imagine if we did not fear God and we just simply

  331. do what we want to do. Man, it's going to be very tough.

  332. It's going to because it's a race, right, It's going to be

  333. very tough, very very tough to reach the goal. Right. So the

  334. word of God is like, I don't know, like a secret key while

  335. to finish our race like smoothly. I cannot promise fully smoothly. But you

  336. know that God is with us, and when we are with when God is

  337. with us, we are always on the winning side already, no matter what

  338. may come our way. Right, Okay, So so it's very important.

  339. So even as oh yeah, so as I was talking to Pasta Jack also

  340. this morning, so we remember this week is our fifteenth anniversary and X cyber

  341. Jaya, right, and I was also talking to Pasta Jack about how X

  342. Cyberjaya started. Right of course I know the back just to clarify a few

  343. things, but really so amazing that Pasta Kenneth spoke to Pasta Jack. Of

  344. course, I believe Pasta Kenneth has also been praying before this and all that,

  345. you know, to start something ex Cyberja because that's all that's a big

  346. group of MMIs students last time travel all the way to suban Jaya, for

  347. service every week. So I believe. I believe God has led pasta Candles

  348. to start X Cyberjaya here. So, but he needs somebody, right,

  349. So and I believe God has led Passaican earth to Passajack to be that man

  350. to start right. But of course passa Jack cannot do it alone, right,

  351. he needs to have a team. So what happened was, um he

  352. I believe as God led that different ones, a few of the people to

  353. come together to pray for the starting of X Cyberjaya fifteen years ago. So

  354. I think it was a couple of months before March thirtieth, two thousand and

  355. eight when X Cyberjaya first started, right, So it was a preparation to

  356. start the What did they do to prepare to pray? They came together to

  357. pray to seek God for his dire action, Like, okay, where to

  358. start, God, do you really want us to be in there? So

  359. the group came together to pray about it and to seek God. Yeah,

  360. and this was all this all together is because of the fear of God,

  361. not men. Heaven rules. Amen. Right, So that's that's the first

  362. part. You know, the training we must prepare, even this church,

  363. we prepared to start this fifteen years ago, right, And it's not just

  364. by all passenger wants to do something and he comes, Oh no, no,

  365. that's preparation involved, right and it's a lot of hard work fifteen years

  366. ago when we first started. All right. So second picture this week,

  367. right, this week is some of us know as some of our children also

  368. go to school. Right, So it's it's Anderson's first day of primary school.

  369. Okay, so yes, yes Anderson, Yes, so he went to

  370. his primary school. Yeah, he turned seven even in March as so yeah,

  371. this is my son, yes Anderson, so we're here. So preparing

  372. him for Standard one is something very significant in both of our Andrew and myself

  373. our lives as well. It's a significant time, right of course, as

  374. mummy, we all like to look into the details. Drive we need to

  375. prepare by shoe by bag, by by socks by everything. You know.

  376. Bye, but get the books. Go to school for orientation, your mommy

  377. that you also have to go for orientation. Listen to all the okay,

  378. what roles? And the most interesting is Anderson goes to Mandarin school. And

  379. I don't speak Mandarin. I speak a little bit on Mandarin. Mandarin I'm

  380. not very affluent in mandry by Andrew is, so it's okay. So,

  381. so mummy is very anxious, like what are they saying all in mendarin you

  382. know, Oh they're speaking in mendary. I'm like, oh, I can

  383. hardly understand anything. So of course Andrew is a translation has to translate everything.

  384. Yeah, and all the communications all inmentary school. They're like, okay,

  385. what what's up? Group? Now you're I don't know how last time

  386. they did laugh, but this this time, this generation the mummy and then

  387. you also go what's up? Group? And keep in touch with pitchers,

  388. you know, with the parents. Well, I don't know. My parents

  389. are thought how to keep in touch with out there my cosmates parents are what's

  390. so amazing? I mean, so much to prepare, I tell you before

  391. the first day started, okay, so yes, so prepared to start well?

  392. Right. We want our son to excel in his studies and all that,

  393. so we want to make sure that we as parents also prepare well right

  394. okay. And also the third picture that is a picture of an axe.

  395. Right, it's a picture of an axe. It looks sharp to me because

  396. it's like holding still on the wood, right, it looks sharp. Right,

  397. and you remember some of us at homes do you're a memetics picture,

  398. right, This picture is about the X. Right. So it's a story

  399. of the two lumberjacks. Right. Okay, I wouldn't go to the story,

  400. but I just want to do. I want to mention about the court

  401. of an American lawyer, politician, and statesman who served as the sixteenth President

  402. of the United States from eighteen sixty one, Abraham Lincoln. Right. He

  403. says this, quoting him, Give me six hours to chop down a tree,

  404. and I will spend the first four hour sharpening the X. Wow,

  405. it's very good advice. Sharpen your X before you start, otherwise you'll be

  406. like, yeah, okay, so of your notes. So it's very important.

  407. Okay, so prepare to start. Well, that's point number two.

  408. If you're taking notes, point number one, focus the end in mind.

  409. Point number two. Prepare to start. Well, okay, let's go to

  410. point number three. We are here in this race. Yeah, you're here

  411. in this race. So these are some of the things that we can remember

  412. to take note off to run a race. Well. Point number three next,

  413. like, please, point number three is prepared to persevere and to prepare

  414. to end well. Yeah, you don't want just to start well and then

  415. just let go and don't care. You know, No, we want to

  416. persevere because you want to reach the goal. You want to win. We

  417. want to win this race, right, want to run this race like we

  418. are winners? Right, Prepare to persevere? What kind of race? No,

  419. persevere? Run to uncompass? I would like to I would like to

  420. hear about it. Prepare to persevere and to end well? Every race?

  421. Definitely god obstacle, right, If it's not external obstacle is internal obstacle.

  422. So internal obstacles are like, oh, you're the all the exit thing,

  423. you know, your body body fighting against your will, you know, and

  424. your will power. Also sometimes an obstacle like all your mind. You know,

  425. It's like wow, you know, so many challenges. If there's no

  426. obstacle physically already Internet already go already obstacles. Also, let's prepare to persevere

  427. and to end well. So what are the challenges? What will be the

  428. cost? This is a question that we need to think about in a race.

  429. What are the challenges are hit and what will it cost me? So

  430. running in a race, we want to know the route, right, before

  431. you start a race, you want to know what you are into it.

  432. Right. Of course, we cannot know everything. Sometimes we prepare so well

  433. everything, but certainly something else came about. Right. I'm a project manager

  434. working in the HL here. I know I can prepare on it so much,

  435. but suddenly something new come like why why am I gonna know about it?

  436. Yeah, so we need to also prepare right, prepare of course?

  437. Of course we cannot do all these without God's health. Definitely, God have

  438. to guide us. That's why we need God, because God is the God

  439. of all knowing and he will he will guide us to what is the right

  440. thing to do? So, yes, we want to know the route so

  441. in even in the first picture here, obstacles will come, right, Obstacles

  442. will come, challenges will come. Yeah, we want to know what we

  443. what we should do when obstacle costs come our way? And how much will

  444. it cost it? Every challenge will definitely come with a cost. Are you

  445. how you am I willing to pay the price of this cost to overcome this

  446. challenge in order to reach the goal? Right? Very important question? What

  447. do I need to sacrifice? Right? So that's a fun fact. You

  448. see, if you will just imagine all athletes. All athletes don't carry their

  449. handphones on right when they raise handphone is such an essential thing in our lives

  450. today. Correct or not we don't have phones, we cannot live correct or

  451. not handphone? We need a handphone for almost everything except in a race.

  452. You see, you don't see them got pocket for the handphone one. I

  453. don't know a pocket or they need to or running away the phone call.

  454. We are right. Everyone is very focused to finish the race, right,

  455. even the little boy children. Can you see the picture the second the meda

  456. picture. Have you tried monkey bar before? Yes? Monkey bar? Who

  457. can finish a monkey bar before? Yeah? Wow? Very good? So

  458. good? Right? Have you count how many bars you have crossed? Do

  459. you count? Like? Maybe next time you count? Okay, gang can't

  460. come and tell me how many bars? Maybe you can, Lanna when you

  461. go one time, two time back? You know if you can do like

  462. ten times? Wow, very good, Okay, let's try that. Let

  463. that video go. Sorry, Paris, I'm not don't telling your children,

  464. but yeah, you know, you know if you can do one round good,

  465. you can do two rounds good? Let's go more. Yeah, let's

  466. see how many rounds you can go, wow, that is also a challenge.

  467. And you don't you see the children, they don't carry their iPad,

  468. they don't carry their hand phone with them. You know, sometimes something's in

  469. life it's not so essential as we think it is. Yeah. Yeah,

  470. life is a race and sometimes we need to know what is important to bring

  471. in a race, right, even in a you know, try athlon or

  472. anybody know what's to try athlon? Tryathlon is a race where you have three

  473. legs of different type of situation. Okay, so that the athlete will have

  474. to go true maybe I think a running track. I don't know which is

  475. the order. The running track they have to run first, then after that

  476. they have to swim. They have to swim they after that they have to

  477. cycle to the finishing line. Right, So that's it's called a triathlon where

  478. it's like a different different set of environment that they need to raise true.

  479. Right, And of course they don't carry their handphones. I don't know where

  480. to put unless they design such as a thing costume where they can put their

  481. handphones somewhere. But I don't think they will carry their handphones. And also

  482. I read about it that how can the athlete be so efficient? You know.

  483. I mean, you run, you need to wear one kind of clothing

  484. or one kind of bagu one kind of clothing to run. Then after that

  485. you need to swim. They needed to change your swimming so then after that

  486. you need to cycle. You need to wear a proper tire to cycle,

  487. right, some so I read about it so funny triathlon. I mean,

  488. I mean, if anyone does tryath alone, forgive me if I say anything,

  489. but yes, an athlete at this triathlon, athlete actually only where one

  490. suitor everything. So some of them just where they're swimming, so to run,

  491. to swim and to cycle straight. And I think they have a special

  492. costume, especially for the cycling part where they need to have some pads on

  493. their bags or something like that too, in order to cycle properly. I

  494. think so, correct me if I'm not any triathlonsio athletes, right, So

  495. it's interesting, very interesting. I'm like, wow, okay, so that

  496. they can finish to win the race. They want to be as efficient as

  497. possible. So in the same way as Christians, let's prepare to persevere through

  498. all season of our life, you know, if we have thee of course,

  499. please don't know, only eveny one want you only one costume everything every

  500. day and don't change it again. But I'm not saying that, I'm just

  501. saying the scenario of the triathlon athlete, right, So, yes, do

  502. do something thing that will make sure, um, you are efficient in reaching

  503. the goal. If there is something that is popping you or slowing you down,

  504. whether is it, for example, is it unforgiveness? Is it?

  505. Um? Uh? How do you say unforgiveness or anything that is like distracting

  506. you to hole you, burdening you down. Yeah, let it go,

  507. Let it go so that you can finish it well like the athlete, like

  508. the trial to learn athlete. Right. So yes, I also want to

  509. yeah, as you see the third the third uh third picture that yeah,

  510. finish it well? All right? So next light all to share with us

  511. my experience about climbing out Mount kin Nahbaalu. Anyone else see you climb out

  512. Mount kin Nabo before you? Yes? Also cool, I'm not alone?

  513. Yeah, okay, children, children, I want I want to ask you'll

  514. have your climb out the highest mountain before. Can you see this picture?

  515. Yeah? This picture on the left hand side or right hand side. It's

  516. the highest peak of Southeast Asia and it's found in Sabbah and it's called Mount

  517. Kinabalu. I tell you anyone going for second time to time before? No

  518. one, Okay, I thank God that I have the opportunity to go climb

  519. up once. This was my second year in my university right and and I

  520. went together with a group of students. It's like a society club like that

  521. where where we have to earn our credits to stay in a hostel there.

  522. Okay, that's a story for another day. But yes, I had an

  523. opportunity to go up. And we are in a group of if not mistaken,

  524. about forty five or fifty of us, quite a big group of numbers.

  525. So as as campus students also in our campus, we had to it's

  526. a project, okay, it's a project of going. And we took three

  527. months to prepare ourselves from sponsors to getting sponsors to buying our tickets, accommodation,

  528. everything even physical training towards the pig. I tell you we had to

  529. practice. I mean we had to go. I still remember every Saturday morning

  530. we had to wake up early as as as as the group to go running

  531. or running to keep up our stamina, right, to build our stamina and

  532. I still remember we climb up many many stairs. I can't climb down,

  533. climb up, climb on. To train our physical strength and also our mental

  534. strength as well, we have to practice that because we want to reach up

  535. to the top. Can you see, children, is so high, so

  536. so high, very high. You see it's above the clouds. Why I

  537. tell you, I mean the view is awesome about climbing out there, No

  538. joke, man, I tell you, and it is really. I mean

  539. those of us who have been that you need to I know this. I

  540. really appreciate this key that you need to keep going even if it's difficult,

  541. and even if it's just a small step. Yeah, and I tried that.

  542. I told myself, okay, I'm not going to talk to anyone.

  543. If anyone talk to me, okay, I'll talk, but then I will

  544. try not to talk so much because I need to keep my breath to keep

  545. going, and especially account to the midpoint. Of course, there was a

  546. rest rest at the midpoint, and then we continue up and as the as

  547. we go up even higher, the oxygen level is thinner than we find it

  548. hard to breathe. Yeah, people will get tired, and people will feel

  549. sleepy, right, and when they go and when we go up there,

  550. A lot of my friends are very tired. Yeah, I was also very

  551. tired. But I told myself, in my mind, in my view,

  552. I said, I need to keep going. I cannot stop because the moment

  553. I stop, I will fall asleep. And the moment I fall asleep,

  554. I will I think I will not be able to come back to that energy

  555. to keep walking. So it's our Christian life as well. Keep walking,

  556. keep walking, even though it's hard, keep walking, even though a small

  557. baby step, keep walking forward. Yeah, it's still a progress of working

  558. forward a little bit, it's okay, it's okay, right, keep moving

  559. forward. And you know, and because of me, I didn't stop.

  560. I keep moving forward. Even if I need to eat something, I would

  561. just grab something to just munch and keep going, don't. I didn't sit

  562. down. A lot of people sit down, and I saw every time,

  563. and I walked right because I kept going. A lot of people who went

  564. ahead on me, A lot of them sat down. Keep going if you

  565. keep if you keep sitting down, you use fall sleep. No, no,

  566. keep going, keep going, keep going. So then then okay,

  567. okay, okay, very tire. So a lot of a lot of the

  568. So once we reached the thing, I tell you what such a magnificent whew.

  569. Of course it was. It was early in the morning. We saw

  570. sunrise. It's beautiful. I think we have a should have a waiwa wawata

  571. go up to Mountcake then. Now before that, dude training, I tell

  572. you, it's really a life changing experience. You wanna you know, do

  573. it well when you're still why what really? I tell oh, even families

  574. you can want to do you know, do do practice together. You know,

  575. it's a life changing experience. You want to try this out? It

  576. really, you know, the life has really changed for my end because of

  577. that. I really took this experience very like close to my heart. Yeah,

  578. even in my spiritual walk, like okay, keep going, keep going,

  579. yeah, keep going, because I want to see I want to see

  580. the light. I want to see, you know, the I want to

  581. see the beautiful sunrise. Hey, church, here, as as as as

  582. a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ in our race, we want to see

  583. the glory of the Lord at the end. Right, you want to see

  584. Jesus face to face. You want to hear him say good, my good

  585. and faithful servant. Right, so let's let's do this. You want to

  586. hear God, I want to see God face. Well, let's do this

  587. together. It's going to be glorious at the end of the finishing line,

  588. right, yeah. And we don't want to just be there alone. We

  589. want to have our families, our friends, our neighbors, our colleagues at

  590. work. We want all of them to finish the race and see them together,

  591. right, and have a great party when we reach the finishing line.

  592. Right. This topic about revival last month Pasta Canneth shared with us. It's

  593. it's constantly brewing in my heart, even now that it's already one month of

  594. the message and it and I think Pasta Julian as well, because Pasta Julian

  595. shared a very very important word during our Vision Extreme Vision alignment about revival as

  596. well, about how to leave a life of constant revival? Next, like,

  597. please, how to live a life of constant revival? Thank you for

  598. that word. Really, that was such a wow. I'm still thinking about

  599. it. I'm still brewing about it, and now that I'm also speaking about

  600. it, it's it's such an important question how to live a arrive of constant

  601. revival? Even is it even possible that. Okay, some of us cannot

  602. see the picture. The picture is about the Asbury Revival that has just recently

  603. taken place in the United States, right in Asbury in this college, right

  604. and it has gone on from days for weeks, for months and and you

  605. know can be and this is an event, right, But what I'm talking

  606. about is constant revival every day, long long term. You're talking about years

  607. like x hyvagina fifteen years. You're talking about constant revival in fifteen years,

  608. thirty forty five years. Wow, is it even possible? A constant revival?

  609. What is the ultimate focus of our lives? What are the challenges that

  610. we will go ahead? Remember this is a race, right, This is

  611. a race. It's not a sprint, a long distance race. How will

  612. we overcome these challenges? What will be the cost? Other countries do not

  613. have this privilege of believing the Lord Jesus Christ because it will cost their lives

  614. if they do that. We are so privileged, my dear friends, brothers

  615. and sisters in Christs. We are really privileged, thank God for the grace

  616. that we have right now here in Malaysia. You know, it's really rare,

  617. and you wanna wanna take this opportunity to go all the way reading the

  618. word of God. As as long as we still have the word of God,

  619. you never know the Word of God may be taken away from us.

  620. Let's take this opportunity to read the word of God, to really run our

  621. race up. Maximize the opportunity that we have right now together together as homies,

  622. to come together as a church. You know, Sundays are precious.

  623. You know some people have to go in hiding to meet as a church.

  624. We are here's a privilege, open air. Come, come, come,

  625. invite your friends. You know some people can't even invite their friends, can't

  626. even tell their parents or their their spouses that they are believers of the not

  627. Choses Christ. But we are so privileged friends, brothers and sisters in christis

  628. you know, let's do this. Let's let's let's maximize this opportunity. Yeah.

  629. So is it even possible to have constant revival? I want to tell

  630. you a good news. It is possible. It is possible. Why next

  631. light please? The answer is there? Why is it possible? How is

  632. it possible? Next light? Please? Yes? Because even rules when Heaven

  633. rules, When we know our focus is heaven, the finishing line. That's

  634. why it's called towards the finishing line, right, And how do we get

  635. there is by having excuse proof lives. Yeah, what what does it mean

  636. excuse proof? I just wanted to share some testimonies, like doctor Jill wanted

  637. to share with you more than fifteen years ago. Rather yeah, um,

  638. she was a medical student then, yeah, going to church. It's like

  639. you know, and sometimes there was a period of time where she has her

  640. placement in semb Sermban from here. For those of us do not know,

  641. it is about two hours one and a half to Suban by car one way,

  642. one and a half hours going back is another one and a half hours.

  643. How many of us here traveled more than one hour to ex Hyberjaya today?

  644. God? Nobody, nobody. Hey, someone did that. Someone did

  645. that more than fifteen years ago. Yeah, that is excuse proof. Okay,

  646. I go through ches Niarmbaya. I don't want to come back all the

  647. way here for whatnot? Right? No? Right, No, that was

  648. an excuse proof example. Doctor Jill is here today, Yeah, being such

  649. an amazing blessing to all of us because she chose to live an excuse proof

  650. life. We are benefits we ripped the benefits of doctor Jill's obedience. Thank

  651. you, doctor Jill. We are ripping it. We are blessed, we

  652. are, we are. You know, you never know living an excuse proof

  653. life could not just be a benefit for you, but also the community around

  654. you. Yeah, exploits pack. It is possible to have constant revival exploits

  655. pack. How being exploit packed? The Word of God in Danny chapter eleven,

  656. verse thirty two says, but the people who know their God shall be

  657. strong and carry out great exploits. I repeat Daniel chapter eleven if you're taking

  658. notes. Daniel chapter eleven, verse thirty two says, but the people of

  659. God who so, the people who know their God shall be strong and carry

  660. out great exploits. So important, right, and yeah, it is possible

  661. to have a constant revival for not just days, not just months, not

  662. just years, not just decades. It can go on forever until we reach

  663. the finishing line. It is possible. It's not impossible, right. Yeah.

  664. Another example, we are celebrating this week x Cyberjaya fifteenth year anniversary Pastor

  665. Jack's obedience as well. We just want to honor our leaders today. Pastor

  666. Jack's obedience as well has made even this possible, that we are here enjoying

  667. the benefits of just worshiping God together, hearing the word of God. Ex

  668. Cyberjaya started and hey, fifteen years hello, constant revival for fifteen years,

  669. you see one another one, one child grow up until fifteen until teen natures.

  670. You know it's it's fifteen years, no joke, Okay, fifteen years,

  671. half fifteen years. Some of us among us here don't leave up to

  672. fifteen years yet, right, it's fifteen years. It is our long years.

  673. Okay, long okay? Passa Jack and family travels one way every Sunday,

  674. sixty six kmy, how many of us? I think? Some of

  675. us travel quite fils a right pasta Jack and doctor Geo stays in shah Alam

  676. comes here every Sunday. Right, pay two tolls? How many of us

  677. gone through more than two toos? I think no? No, I thought

  678. some of us God, yeah, but two tolls every week, one way

  679. another two tolls back for fifteen years with three kids, h three kids,

  680. And I remember the Passagai. There was a time you shared a testimony about

  681. X Cyberjaya that there was a time you felt alone, right, right,

  682. like all your friends were in subang Jaya. The main church x Cyberjaya,

  683. for our information, is the first church plan that started before all the other

  684. church plans came. Right. So Passagaick was like the trailblazer, you know

  685. the trails like even though he didn't know no example to follow, right,

  686. Like, this's just obey God, God says God. Like Abraham, like

  687. that, God says, go go with to where God this go. Passageck

  688. was like that, right, and he felt he felt lonely. He had

  689. a lot of friends back, but he do this because he obeyed God.

  690. This is the sacrifice that he made, Like even Passage Lane and family as

  691. well. I'm sure you don't just come to Savage, you also go to

  692. other church plans. Right. And Pastor Julian also pays the price. He

  693. has counted his cost and he has chosen to obey God. You want me

  694. to be a worship pastor, well, that meanside to travel every wherever you

  695. want to go Singapole, So right, I think there was a time,

  696. man, there was a period of time when Pasta Julian and got a team.

  697. An extreme band also goes to Singapore almost every week. I think there

  698. was a time. Right, yeah, it's it's it's come on church.

  699. We want to reach the goal. We want to tell people about Jesus.

  700. This is a price that we need to pay. I mean not just price

  701. financially. You talk about passa chacks and family. He has three kids,

  702. he has tri kets and and and he has so much. He's a teacher,

  703. right, he has worked also to do his ministries. And he's not

  704. just coming to Cyberjaya once a week. There are times we have prayer service,

  705. there are times he has homes are getting so on top of this for

  706. fifteen years, can you imagine the of doing this? And he is persevering

  707. and before this he is preparing. He I'm sure he has prepared himself and

  708. he wants to end this. Well, now he wants to finish his race.

  709. Well, yeah, these are examples, radical examples that I want to

  710. share with us that today it's possible. Yeah, we read the Bible.

  711. We read in the Bible that we have shared ragged mishak and a bad niggle.

  712. Right, Well, they did radical things. They go through fire,

  713. they go through lions there, well, so radical Jesus changed water into wine,

  714. and Jesus raise the the date, you know, raise the date to

  715. life. You know. Wow, so radical back. Hey today, there's

  716. a radical nurse that's around us. That's revival here that we can see with

  717. our own physical we can shake with our physical and we can come for them.

  718. It's not a fictional book, it's not a it's not just in a

  719. book. But he we cannot relate passenger also can talk to us. Wow,

  720. that's right. Plea a constant revival that we can first hand experience that

  721. we can also be that constant revival to someone else, you know, to

  722. reach the finishing line. Brothers and sisters. Campus students want to encourage us.

  723. Come on, Come on. I hear of campus students stories last time,

  724. crazy crazy ones. We would go and we will go for missions.

  725. I still remember, we will go for missions, and we will still study,

  726. and we still do our best. We still love God with all of

  727. our hearts. And we do revel to us till the weekends and at the

  728. same time the next morning. We do revel to us on Friday Saturdays or

  729. Thursday Friday Saturdays and then on Sunday morning. Some of us are still serving.

  730. So sometimes we come back to like five am in the morning, and

  731. still the next morning, or some of us student still writing five am,

  732. six am, still have to wake up to serve, set up everything and

  733. still serve radical. Indeed, this is called this is what I call revival.

  734. People who love God with no excuse because they know they have God.

  735. They are strong in their faith, and even as they run, they run

  736. with perseverance. Of course you ask them they are tired. Of course,

  737. they attired physically, but in their hearts is burning with passion for God.

  738. And do what God wants to do wherever they are sent right next light,

  739. please yeah, even if the cost is even um to lose some of our

  740. friends or not be in touch with them so frequently as we wished. Right,

  741. so, there is a cost to pray here here all the one king

  742. in the hu is one of our elder one Kia is our chief elder in

  743. our church. Prepare to persevere and end well here. It is a quote

  744. from him. I always hang on to it as as a campus student.

  745. Campus students pay attention. Now very important eye for me and this is my

  746. campus campus. How they say quote that I really hang on to. I

  747. even put it. I still remember I put it on now my status or

  748. who are Gmail or something like that last time? Know what's up yet?

  749. No? Yeah, so I remember I put onto the status until recently I

  750. found out it. Actually I still have this good there, so yes,

  751. I still remember until today true champions and not those who never failed, but

  752. those who never gave up. Wow, this is very inspired. And every

  753. time when I hear a testimony of someone who failed many times, whether it's

  754. an exam, in in in accounts, papers you know, or whatever,

  755. exams, you know, they still get up and still do run again,

  756. just do it again until until they passed the exam, or until they reach

  757. their goal. True champions days are true champions. And all of us here

  758. who are walking today, I believe everyone here walks right, all of us

  759. here who is able to walk, you are like this picture. Children,

  760. Can you see this picture on the screen. This baby is trying to get

  761. up again to walk. Yeah, and all of us can walk, and

  762. all of us are champions. Tell your neighbor you are a champion. Champion.

  763. You know you didn't give up, and that's why today you can walk

  764. because you never gave him out walking. You stand up again? Okay,

  765. you fell down in the herd pain? Ah, you cry the Mummy or

  766. this girl didn't cry. She stand up and walk again. And then she's

  767. still smiling. She's still smiling. Fada was smiling and I can walk again.

  768. Wow, I'm so inspired by this baby. Just you know, keep

  769. walking. True champions are not those who never failed, but those who never

  770. gave up. Next light, please PASSA Canos also had a quote which I

  771. also held on to this when I was in my teens. Right. This

  772. quote says, the world has yet to see what a generation totally committed surrendered

  773. to God can really do. You can you see there's some asteris very hard

  774. to see the asterisk, but you can replace this for example. For example,

  775. you all see has yet to see what a campus student totally committed,

  776. totally surrendered to God can really do. You can change that and make it

  777. personal to you. Yeah, let me give another example. A victory academy.

  778. Victory Academy has yet to see what UH student totally surrendered to God can

  779. really do. Yeah, take this to heart. I'm working in the HL.

  780. The HL has yet to see what young mom totally committed to God can

  781. really do. Yeah. Okay, I and some of us are staying in

  782. Cyberjaya Cyberjaya has yet to see what a young family totally committed to God can

  783. really do. Shall we be that constant revival church? Shall we be that?

  784. Yeah? Right, next light please? So I just want to encourage

  785. us in the word of God today from Hebrews chapter twelve, verse one to

  786. two. Next light please, Hebrews Chapter twelve, verse one to do we

  787. see the example of Jesus, right, Jesus also ran his race? Okay,

  788. I know the words is a bit smaller may read for us. Therefore

  789. we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses like you

  790. see in this picture. Children. Can you see the picture here? How

  791. many people are there in this picture? Thousand, twenty thousand wols? So

  792. many? One billion? I think so too, one billion, So great

  793. a cloud of witnesses. Do you know that so many people has gone a

  794. hit of us and they are cheering us on in our work with God every

  795. days. They are cheering us, you know, people like Abraham, people

  796. like Moses, Isaac, Jacob, right, uncle, yo, everyone who

  797. has gone a hit of us. They are cheering us on. Come on,

  798. come on, Ezra, come on, Enna, come on, come

  799. on, Anderson, come on, let's go therefore, we also, since

  800. we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside

  801. every weight and the sin which so easily and snares us. Church ex Syberjaya

  802. is celebrating fifteenth Ani verse I'm repeating myself so many times. And this year

  803. is a year of resting our sins in this world of God. It's just

  804. while so relating today Hebrews chapter twelves one. Let us lay aside every weight

  805. and sin which so easily and snatch us. Anything that is causing us to

  806. sin. Lay aside. Let's rest our sin. Let's put it away like

  807. what doctor j say. Put it in a rubbish win, wrap it up

  808. and throw away, lay aside, let it rest, don't even go back

  809. to it. Right. Let us run with endurance the race that is set

  810. before us. There is a race that is set before us today. This

  811. is the truth that I want to speak to us. God is speaking to

  812. us today. There is a race that we need that is set before us.

  813. Verse two says in Hebrews chapter twelve, looking unto Jesus, let's fix

  814. our eyes on Jesus. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher or perfect

  815. or of our faith. Who for the joy that was set before him?

  816. Hey, brothers and sisters, families, there, who is this joy?

  817. We are all Jesus's joy that he endured a cross. Tell your neighbor Jesus

  818. is you are Jesus's joy. Tell your neighbor that you are jesus Joy right.

  819. Who for the joy that was said Jesus saw you? Jesus saw you,

  820. He remembers you when he endured a cross. You are his joy,

  821. who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross. He

  822. is able to endure the cross because he has this joy of me, of

  823. you, of your children, of your family. He loves us so much.

  824. You are his joy. He endured the cross, despising the shame,

  825. and he has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

  826. Hallelujah. Jesus example, he has this joy and he endured it. What

  827. is what are we thinking about when we endure our challenges? Friends? What

  828. is that joy that we have when we endure such challenges when something comes our

  829. way or distract us, or what is how how can we overcome that?

  830. Jesus show this example of having that joy that thing that caused him to carry

  831. on to persevere on right that joy Paul's example, I will quickly read this

  832. from Philippe's Chapter three, verse twelve to sixteen. I don't mean to say

  833. that I have already achieved these things, or that I have already reached perfection,

  834. this is Paul says. But I press on to possess that perfection for

  835. which Christ Jesus first possessed me. Paul was also pressing on. He has

  836. gone through a lot of challenges. His race is one that is wild crazy

  837. because he is pressing on to finish his race that is set before him.

  838. Verse the team says, no, dear brothers and sisters, I have not

  839. achieved it to perfection. He's trying to say that. But I focus on

  840. this one thing forgetting the past and looking towards what lies a hit the finishing

  841. line. Is focusing on the finishing line looking that's what's a hit forgetting the

  842. past. Verse fourteen says, I press on to reach the end of the

  843. race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, to Jesus, Christ is

  844. calling us. There is a prize. Tell your neighbor, there is a

  845. prize. There is a prize at the end of the finishing line. Tell

  846. your neighbor that there is a price, right, there is a price.

  847. Let's press on. Verse fifteen says, let all who are spiritually mature agree

  848. on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will

  849. make it plain to you. Verse sixteen very important. But we must hold

  850. on to the progress we have already made. Some version says I'm reading from

  851. MSG. Version says, now that we're on track. For all of us

  852. who are on track, lett day, let's stay on it. Don't be

  853. distracted. Let's stay on it verse and even in verse sixteen in the same

  854. we even see in me. The contemporary English version says, but we must

  855. keep going in the direction that we are already here. We are here,

  856. friends, brother santancess, we are here. Let's keep going. Let's not

  857. give up something. It's distracting you all. Even right now as you are

  858. Cynibia, you feel like giving up. I just want to encourage you today.

  859. The word of God here us encouragees us today. Let's keep on.

  860. Let's hold on even though it's so challenging. Keep walking, even small step

  861. is also a step forward. Right, Just keep going, just keep going

  862. right, keep going, have your eyes fixed on God. The finishing line,

  863. what Jesus your joy? May Jesus be your joy in this journey of

  864. race together. Okay, so the summary perseverance today. First one, focus

  865. with the ending mind right, focus on the goal, being able to see

  866. the whole earth, our brothers and sisters, our commuted here, our remedies,

  867. family, our colleagues. Right, everyone, focus on the enemy.

  868. Might want all of them to know our beloved God is right. Prepared to

  869. start well. The second point prepares yes before we go, always remember prepared

  870. to start. Being discipled so important. If you want to be in this

  871. discipleship relationship with someone here in the church, you need to talk to someone

  872. being having needed to speak over you. Do speak to your hopeliness and they

  873. will guide you true how you can be part of that as well. Prepared

  874. to start well and prepare to persevere and prepare to any well. We hope

  875. you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please
