You're listening to a message to go from X church. We hope this message
-
will light up your team. I am gonna speak from John chapter four.
-
John chapter four. So if you have your bibles, children, adults,
-
try and flip to John chapter four. This itself, it's called Bible skills.
-
Bible skills? How skillful are you with your Bible? Can you one
-
flip flip to that page? Ready? Can you? Or not? Means
-
you know your Bible? So well, hey, some people can. Okay,
-
I'm still I still cannot say. I'm still flipping all right. And
-
my title, I've got a title. So everyone, let's look get a
-
title here. Okay, all right, look at this. It's called Jesus
-
made more disciples than John. Jesus made more disciples than John. That's my
-
title. That's just I should have been the first verse here right now.
-
Let's read the verse to get the first verse here. First three verses okay,
-
right, okay, okay, hey, let's read together everyone. Okay,
-
let's try one, two, and three. Now, when Jesus learned
-
that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John.
-
Although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples. He left
-
Julia and departed again for Galilee. Right, first thing here is now when
-
Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples.
-
So that's why that's where I got the title for my message. Jesus
-
made more disciples than John. Okay, honestly speaking, I never realized that.
-
Okay, you know, John is a great guy, and so you
-
know he was. He was known as John the Baptist, right, He
-
ate locusts, and he baptized people. And so here is the proof that
-
shows that Jesus is actually greater than John, just by this, because he
-
actually made more disciples, all right, and he actually baptized more people.
-
So in fact, if there was that title John the Baptist, it doesn't
-
belong to him anymore. Actually supposed to be Jesus the Baptist in a way,
-
because Jesus trumps John in terms of making disciples and baptizing. All right.
-
But don't worry, I think Jesus not so insecure. He's okay,
-
let John have it, Let John have it, all right. I'm Jesus
-
the Son of God. It's even greater. Okay. So anyway, now,
-
why am I bringing this up? Why am I putting there as a
-
title Jesus made more disciples. This speaks to me of the priority of Jesus.
-
You know, when we hear this and then we look at the last
-
commandment right before he left, as it like he got resurrected before he uh
-
left for heaven. Right, his word to us is go and make disciples.
-
Well, this this thing is like on and on. He's like seeing
-
it again and again and and and it's like by now, if we don't
-
get it right, it's like we really missed the point. So Jesus really
-
has this thing about making disciples because he made more disciples than John. And
-
the final word is go and make disciples, right, Okay, So it
-
speaks of his priority. Because why it could have been Jesus dance more,
-
Jesus ate more food than than John. You know, you could have been
-
Jesus. What else worshiped more, spoke more messages. That wasn't the case.
-
But it's this one. Jesus may more disciples. This shows what the
-
priority of Jesus is. It's making disciples. Someone everyone say to your neighbor,
-
Jesus made more disciples, and therefore, just knowing this, I am
-
wondering, you know, because when we say I follow Jesus, shouldn't then
-
we followed this that we should also make more disciples. Amen? Amen?
-
All right, I've got a question for you. How many of you here
-
you consider yourself a disciple of Jesus? Okay, hey, no, right,
-
thanks for honesty. All right, So I see there's something like am
-
I a disciple of Jesus? It's okay, it's good, good honesty there,
-
and some hands be more confident I am a disciple of Jesus. Of
-
course that would a right disciple, like like a law of commitment there,
-
right, it's almost something you're saying like I'm this person's husband, I'm this
-
person's wife. You know. I actually there's commitment. But now if I
-
ask you, I'm very sure if I ask you how many of you are
-
Christians? I believe more hands will actually go out, how many of Christians?
-
More hands to grow up go up because you recognize that word Christian,
-
and then maybe not so much commitment that I would. It's a misconception.
-
Let me tell you something here. When you call yourself a Christian. You
-
know what it means. You know what it means. It's not a religion.
-
You know, it's not religion. It's very different from all these other
-
religions. A Christian the world itself is power pact. Christians mean little Christ.
-
Everyone say little Christ. Okay, what does that mean? Little Christ
-
means someone who's like Christ. When they see this person, a little Christ,
-
this person looks and speaks and acts like Christ. He's not Christ.
-
He or she is not Christ. We are not christ' uh. But you
-
are a little Christ. If you say I'm a Christian, you're saying I'm
-
a little Christ. And what does that mean? Actually, the word Christian
-
and disciple is actually the same. You consider yourself a Christian, you're saying,
-
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, I follow Jesus. I'm a
-
little Christ. That's what you're saying, all right. So, and then
-
many of us are allowed thinking, am I really Christian? Right? Okay?
-
Don't worry, Yes, don't worry. We're not there yet, we're
-
not perfect yet. But when you believe in Jesus, you're saying, I
-
am a little Christ, all right, and I'm going to learn to be
-
more and more like Christ. Amen. All right, I hope, I
-
hope you're encouraged. Okay, don't feel down. Let's be encouraged this morning.
-
So if you say, if you consider yourself a Christian, you are
-
saying I am a disciple of Jesus Christ because I want to follow what he
-
died. Okay. And when people see you more and more, they should
-
recognize this. This guy's look like Jesus Christ. They act like Jesus Christ,
-
they speak like him, they give like him, all right. They
-
are firm like him, they're gentle like him, all right, and they
-
give their lives like him. Okay, we'll get there. We'll get there
-
everyone, we'll get there. Amen. So Jesus made more disciples, all
-
right. And so now I'm gonna tell you a little bit maybe about discipleship,
-
okay, my own life, all right. So discipleship what is Okay,
-
before that, you know the word disciple in the Greek. Okay,
-
maybe some of you heard before, because I've spoken this before in the Greek.
-
Right. The Greek wood for disciple is math tests, math tests,
-
Okay, I know where they say it, right, but it's spelled with
-
the wooden math in frontal mathematics and at mathematics, so mathe tests. What's
-
the meaning sounds very chunky, but actually meaning very simple? Method tests like
-
math tests. Right, but but what's the meaning of method tests? Very
-
simple? The word actually means learner. Learner, what like, what's that
-
much? Learner? Uh? But learner the meaning of learning learner means this.
-
Okay, I'll put it this way. What's a key for learning?
-
What's the one of the most important keys to be a good learner? Students?
-
Listening? Very good, very good listening, desire to learn any more?
-
Anymore? Answers desire to learn listening. Yeah, I hear it as
-
good, right, Okay, don't worry. I want you give you a
-
math tessay. Okay, okay. And then you know, Asian culture will
-
say work hard, work hard, don't be lazy. All right, it's
-
all part of it. But you know, I believe and you know,
-
the most important thing about learning, if you really want to learn something,
-
it's actually humility. His humility. We've heard this before, right, one
-
of the messages doctor Jill preached humility. And you want to listen, well,
-
you need to be humble. If not, you're not really listening.
-
If you know. If you say I know it all, Hey, I
-
know all this math formula, la teacher, Are you going to really listen
-
to him? No? No, because you think you know it all,
-
although actually you don't know all that. Right. If you know, you
-
say I know all the Bible already? You know, I've heard so many
-
messages. I'm twenty year old Christian? Right, whatfore I need to listen?
-
Whatfore I need to learn? The desire to there's no desire to learn?
-
Right, But if you humble enough, no matter how long you've been
-
a Christian, no matter what position or title you have. Right, many
-
of you are you know, business owners or whatever, a teacher, you
-
know, a doctor, you and many of your your jobs are I would
-
say, like maybe greater than what I do, like you know, on
-
a daily basis. But you are actually coming here, and you said,
-
I humble myself to listen to what passa Jack has to say. Right,
-
I'm pretty sure I earned more money than him. Right, I've got bigger
-
house than him or whatever. I don't know everything. Okay you have,
-
you might have a title or whatever, but you're actually humbling yourself. And
-
some of you're older than me. But thank you and some of you are
-
better students than me, and so you've got more a's than me. Right,
-
yeah, it goes I'm not so not so bright line in terms of
-
studies. But you're humbling yourself to say, Okay, I'm here and passage
-
speaking. I'm gonna hear what it is he has to say, because I
-
believe God is going to speak through him. So humility is that thing that's
-
causing you to stay on here trying to listen to what I say, you
-
know, trying to take it. So you're taking notes of you're opening your
-
bibles. You're actually trying to learn your humility. Okay, So humility is
-
the key why because the opposite of that is what we've been hearing in Daniel
-
chapter four. Who is that guy King Nebu Kaneza? Oh? Is his
-
problem? His problem was pride. His problem was there was no humility,
-
right. You know, He's been told by Daniel this interpretation of a dream,
-
you're gonna, you know, all these things that he's going to happen
-
to him. And yet when the time came, he still went into like,
-
Wow, I'm so good, you know, because of my greatness,
-
my glory, you know, my kingdom is so nice. And right after
-
he said all those things God, I mean in my inner title that I
-
saw in Daniel four in my Bible, it says God humiliated him, humiliated
-
him, meaning God wanted to humble him. And so he became crazy.
-
He started eating grass and stuff like that. Right and so, but but
-
but after a while, then he awoke from that situation, and then he
-
started to praise God because he started to humble himself as say, yeah,
-
actually, God, God is the one who made me who I am.
-
So do you see that church? The key to learn to the key to
-
be a good learner, which is the meaning of that word disciple, is
-
humility, all right, And I know we all want to get there.
-
Amen, hallelujah. All right, let's move on. Okay, so humility.
-
Oh wait, I haven't told my own story. Okay, sorry,
-
okay, yay, this typleship my own story, just a quick one.
-
So I always thought I was a humble guy. Also when I was in
-
college, I thought it was so humble, all right, And that's anyone
-
here. Actually, you know what, when you you think you're humble,
-
that's that's where you're not humble, right, That's where he comes, you're
-
not humbled. So I thought it was so humble. Then, um,
-
uh, one time my dad, my dad, you know, he he
-
was a believer. He's a believer still, all right, he's a believer,
-
and he actually he was a new believer, and so he didn't really
-
pray much for me, all right. But there was one time I was
-
going for a camp in college and my dad decided to pray for me.
-
It was a bit strange, and he's when he decided to pray for me.
-
He prayed a really interesting prayer. Maybe he really wanted to do this
-
lat all right. So I was there awkward, feeling awkward in my dad
-
spraying for me. So he prayed and his prayer was, God, I
-
pray that Jack will be humble. I was like, I was so angry,
-
you know, and that prayer like and and and then amen amen whatever
-
you know, you know the amen that is not real. And so I
-
said amen. But I was like, I'm humble. What do you mean?
-
What do you mean make me humble? So I was full of pride.
-
I was full of pride. I went for the camp. You know,
-
it's a it's a Christian camp, you know, And uh, and
-
God spoke to me there and so I actually, you know, he humbled
-
me because I thought I had my own style. I wanted to do my
-
own thing, my own way, but God humbled me through. At least
-
that that was a start of things. At least I think the start was
-
my dance preyer. You know, so very important parents continue to pray for
-
your kids. Speak you know, the truth into their lives. They may
-
not like it, but speak it, speak it all right, um,
-
and and speak the truth into their lives. So and so that began the
-
process. And uh, you know, when when it comes to discipleship,
-
my story is, uh, I was going around visiting many, many different
-
churches, okay, but finally one day I you know, God, U
-
God constantly speaks to you, but the day he has to all deeplis speak
-
to you is kind of an emergency. You know. It's like a parent
-
seeing the kid dashing into a on you know, uh on oncoming is it
-
called a car, and you'll be like stop. You know that's where you
-
really have to speak out, all right. And so I actually heard God.
-
I believe it was all because I heard his voice saying stop what you're
-
doing. Because I was sinning or whatever it is and stop, and then
-
it says, go and speak to Pastor Kenneth. I actually heard that.
-
It's like whoa, And so that was shocking to me. And that's why
-
I started to start going to ASK Church because I was still visiting church Jessee.
-
So I started going to AX Church and I approached Pastor Kenneth, and
-
I didn't really tell him. I think God told me anything, because I
-
wasn't I wasn't confident to speak about it, and like, God told me
-
speak to you, you know. But I just went to past Akenda and
-
said, Pasta, I need to talk to you, you know, And
-
I shared all my secrets to him and stuff like that, and he heard
-
me and he prayed for me. And at that moment, I broke up
-
with that then girlfriend that I had uh and uh so uh and and things
-
begin to change. And that was my beginning of discipleship with Pastor Kenneth.
-
You know why I'm saying this because definitely we are disciples of Jesus Christ,
-
all right. But I believe God is using the people around us here to
-
represent him because he's using a physical person, because you know, if he
-
appeared physically to you. This is that? That how it This is how
-
it would be, all right, h Jesus knows what we're doing on our
-
phones, right, and you know, if you have your leader with you,
-
if they went into like can I check your phone? I think none
-
of the leaders here have done that back. But you know what I'm saying,
-
if if he wanted to, she wanted to, shouldn't it It shouldn't
-
be a problem, all right. I'm not doing anything wrong in my phone,
-
so right, yeah, I'm not saying please please don't do that.
-
You don't have to do that unless you suspect something really outline, right,
-
But what I'm saying is I share your story. Recently, I was at
-
passas Sandra's dad's funeral. We call him Uncle Yo, Uncle Yo. Right,
-
he passed on. He was this thing was in the church and Pasta
-
Kenneth was sharing a story about Uncle Yo, Uncle Yo. He was in
-
a hospital. He was, you know, getting ready to go because he
-
knows time is near, and so he's looking at his phone and he tells
-
Pasta Kenneth. You know, I don't want to calls past kennetha. You
-
know, my friend, we're not Tea send me these pictures inappropriate and he
-
say like, I all right, I better delete. Well, you know
-
why he says that. He said, what if I die today? What
-
if I suddenly you know, God suddly takes me and then my wife finds
-
my phone or my daughter looks at my voice sees these things. So what
-
a wasted life I lived? All my life? You know something, prison,
-
ministry and everything. And the final thing my wife and my daughter sees
-
my phone is this. He said. You know what I'm saying. You
-
know what I'm saying. So that's why I'm talking about that. You know,
-
Jesus he knows what's on your phones, right, because you know,
-
this is the thing we surprise. The secrets that we have, we don't
-
want to tell anyone, but you know, jeez Us, if you're saying,
-
with disciples of Jesus, can we be accountable with the things that we
-
have? Can we be faithful with a little that He has given to us?
-
Right? I will encourage Kerry. You know, he's playing his Kahan
-
right, And I'm gonna say, Kerry, you can hit a bit louder,
-
but thank you for being faithful with that, right, And it's gonna
-
grow more and more amen. Right, So whatever little we have, let's
-
give it to God and he's going to do something with it. Amen.
-
Okay, let's move on. Let's move on. So, disciple ship,
-
I hope I painted a bit of a picture, clear picture to you.
-
It's not about checking phones are huh. It's just knowing that if today pass
-
Kenneth is going to ask me about my life. What have I been doing,
-
How I've been treating my family, how I've been speaking to my kids.
-
If he's going to ask me, how am I going to answer?
-
And he most times he doesn't even need to get there. I'm thinking about
-
that, you got Hey. If I do like that, then one day
-
I sit now in pass Aca and and it talks to me, am I
-
going to lie to him? So I want to be able to say the
-
truth. So I better make my decisions right now, right, I better
-
make my decisions on what I'm doing right, what I'm watching, what I'm
-
reading, what I'm putting into my mind. Okay, So that's that's the
-
thing, all right. So I still want to encourage leaders. Leaders,
-
Remember what you're here to do. Okay, I'm gonna be bold to say
-
this. We're not here to make converts. We're not here to make converts,
-
right, people convert through their conviction. It's their decisions to follow Jesus.
-
But we are here to make disciples. So yeah, yes, let's
-
evangelize. That's pretty good news. But let's make disciples out of you and
-
me and the people that's in your care. All right, make disciples,
-
speak into their lives, be bold leaders. All right. We're here to
-
train up, train up, okay, teach and then but you know,
-
the first thing is we ourselves need to be disciples leaders. We ourselves need
-
to be disciples. We need to be accountable ourselves. We need to be
-
humble to want to learn from you know, others from our leaders. Amen.
-
Amen? All right, Wow, Okay, going on a little bit
-
long for the first point here, but now let's go a second point.
-
Okay, all right, that's a point. There's a point. Jesus wants
-
us to submit to the authority of Heaven and bye bye. How do we
-
submit? We humble ourselves and submit to his authority through the church that he
-
has given to us. He wants to function through the church, all right.
-
He loves the church, you know, he calls the church his bride.
-
He calls the church his bride. It's like his wife. If anyone
-
messages with my wife, yeah, no, no, don't mess with my
-
wife, all right. Anyone message with my wife, you're gonna experience the
-
wrath of a husband, all right. Okay. So the same thing with
-
Jesus. He loves his church, he wants to he wants his church to
-
function. But if anyone messages with his church, he's they're going to face
-
the wrath of the husband. Okay. So anyway, moving on, moving
-
on, Thank you everyone for still listening. Okay, and children too,
-
I see them taking notes, right, drawing, carry on, carry on,
-
okay, verse four to five. Here, and he had to pass
-
through Samaria. So he came to a town of Samaria called scar or Psycar,
-
near the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Right,
-
what is this about? Just quickly, let me tell you he had to
-
pass through Samaria. The truth is, actually Jesus did not have to pass
-
through Samaria. He did, He did not have to. He's going way
-
again. Anyone remembers where he's going, Sasugi Galilee. He was going to
-
Galilee, all right? From there, because you know, the Pharisees hurt,
-
he's making more disciples, he's going back to Galilee, and he had
-
to pass through some places. He could have passed through anywhere else. That's
-
okay. According to my research, many Jews at that time went through another
-
route or route right. They went through another way because they didn't like Samaria.
-
To them, Samaria as this unclean place. This they call them the
-
the mixed breed means they're not the pure breed Jews. They're mixed up with
-
different races and their religion. It's been mixed up. So they kind of
-
believe in this Jew the you know God. But then because of different culture,
-
they have different kinds of things as the idolatry happening as well. So
-
it's been mixed up. So the pure Jews when they pasture you, what's
-
going on here? You know, like this it's not pure stuff. Yeah,
-
all right, And so they made a way which is actually longer,
-
to skirt around and go to Galilee. That's that's the real that's the truth.
-
You want to go do research, you can find out. So because
-
I actually did that reading and I found out, oh, actually many Jews
-
went another way, but Jesus had to pass true marriage. You understand there's
-
a different meaning here. He did not have to, but he made himself
-
have to. I have to pass through Samaria. I know I can go
-
this other way. I think the other ways, like through Jordan, but
-
I'm gonna make myself pass through Samaria. He had a purpose. Everyone say
-
a purpose. You know, when we have a purpose, we know what
-
we're gonna do, even though it's not nice, even though it's not no
-
feel good, we will make ourselves. I will have to do this because
-
this is what I'm here to do, all right, So I understand that
-
meaning is loaded. He had to pass through because we know later what he
-
does. Okay, and then, yeah, Jesus will go through Samaria to
-
save us. He will. He will pass through whatever the fire Samaria,
-
the places that it's not comfortable. He will do it to save us because
-
we need to be saved. A man Samaria needed to be saved. Amen.
-
Okay, let's move on. Let's move on. Jacob's well was there,
-
so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside
-
the well. It was about a sixth hour. A woman from Samaria came
-
to draw water. Jesus said to her, give me a drink. Let's
-
pause here, Um, maybe just read on. Let's just finish reading first.
-
Next one, for his disciples had gone away into the city to buy
-
food. The Samaritan woman said to him, how is it that you,
-
a Jew, asked for a drink from from me as a woman of Samaria,
-
For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Right, So let's go back
-
to the previous light or I think, yeah, previous light one more sorry?
-
Next, yes, this one thanks thanks to Sarah O yay. So
-
there was a well there Jesus wearied. So we know that Jesus felt tie
-
fitness, all right, and he went to the well. Jesus felt tightness.
-
You know what, I think he's he planned the tiredness. You know
-
what Jesus doesn't. There's no accidents on Jesus. So I'm gonna make myself
-
tired. He knows, he knows all the human conditions. After a while,
-
this is you know, a human's gonna get tired here, he's gonna
-
get thirsty here. I know that I'm gonna make myself tired. I gona
-
make myself thirsty because I'm gonna go to Samaria and I have to right now
-
and he goes, all right, I'm feeling tired. Oh, this is
-
how it feels to be tired, because Gardner it God never feels tired,
-
and so interesting tiredness, all right, thirsty, noess, Oh, now
-
I know how they feel, all right, And so he now I'm feeling
-
those things. And then he goes there to this place and I'm gonna ask
-
for water. I know who's coming. I know who's coming. So now
-
this girl, this lady comes right and you know, again the Jews don't
-
talk to these people. They're half breeds in that sense right there. They're
-
unclean people to the Jews, right, But Jesus makes himself speak to her.
-
Right, he says, give me a drink. That's really a strange
-
thing, you know, like God asking you for a drink. You know,
-
you know he can make water. He can he can make rain like
-
fall in his mouth, right, he can he can get I don't know,
-
I know, a burden. I'm sorry. Maybe that's been the team.
-
But you know he can get anything. He can get it done.
-
Right. But of all the methods he does this, Hey, give me
-
a drink, asked This lady that has a problem, says, you give
-
me a drink. I know a lot of people won't talk to you.
-
Actually, I know you know you have a lot of problems. But I'm
-
going to ask you for a drink. And you know what I want to
-
tell you. Sometimes God seems to make himself appear like he's weak. Right
-
now, you see our instruments like this, Hey, why yah? Right,
-
it isn't got strong enough to, you know, make all the instruments
-
appear, all the all the musicians they are jamming loud, you know,
-
bigger venue, lights, whatever. Right, isn't got powerful more powerful to
-
do this? But but now it seems like okay, quite, um,
-
what do you call budget? Something like that? But you know budget on
-
these people, you know what they pay the price to come in practice and
-
you know, choose the songs come early, all right? But sometimes it
-
seems like that. Why because Jesus wants to ask you, Hey, can
-
you serve? Or not? Right? Hey? X kids? You know
-
you know why we don't have x kis today. It's intentional. It's intentional
-
meaning our our excuse teachers are small in number at this moment. Praise God.
-
I thank God, you know for the students that we have who have
-
signed up and they're going through training or the MMU students. Hallelujah MMU students.
-
All right, So they availed themselves and still training last. So that's
-
why we didn't pressure them and say hey every week ex kids are okay,
-
Yeah, we didn't do that. So we intentionally let them have a break
-
so they can come and be part of us as well. So that's why
-
thank your parents. Thank your parents were understanding that we don't have this at
-
the moment because we also want to give them a break. All right.
-
So but it is intentional. Right, God seems to sometimes make himself appear
-
like I'm thirsty, I'm weak, Can you give me something? Because he
-
wants to ask us and see whether it's a testa you are we going to
-
avail ourselves to him? Because later on we read all right, said give
-
me a drink? What's the next one? All right? Okay, now
-
we read the next one? Okay, Jesus answered her. If you knew
-
the gift of God and who it is everyone say, who who it is
-
that is saying to you give me a drink? You would have asked him
-
and he would have given you what living water? Living water? This water
-
is greater than that water you're gonna give me from that well. Amen.
-
The woman said to him, Sir, you have nothing to draw water with,
-
and the well is deep. Where do you get the living water?
-
Moving on? Next one, next lighte Okay, are you greater than our
-
father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as
-
did his sons and his life stock. Jesus said to her, everyone who
-
drinks of this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks of the water
-
that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I
-
will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal
-
life. Okay, what this means is this, you know, Jesus giving
-
living water, meaning he's saying, my water that I give you, drink
-
it, you will not thirst anymore. Correct. It's different from the water
-
from the well. And it says you will have a spring of water welling
-
up, meaning it's a water that's overflowing. It's not just for yourself,
-
it will be a blessing to other people. Amen, how many of you
-
want that waters? That's not just gonna quench your own thirst, but it's
-
gonna help others. Amen, Yes, mattheis. You will have it all
-
right, living water, welling up to eternal life. You will be a
-
blessing to other people. All right. So Jesus might be asking you,
-
hey, can you serve me? Can you give me a drink of water?
-
Can you help be a host? Can you play an instrument? Can
-
you help lead worship? Can you join the X kids and help us?
-
Hey, I wanta tell you all exteens, ex teens everyone, any teens
-
in the house, Kadia like okay, teens finding their voice? Okay,
-
I heard something, you know what. We had our first X teens cyberjayat
-
yesterday. There were some preteens or so who joined and the others who are
-
teens here preteens you didn't join yesterday, don't worry. We want to invite
-
you join us. Join us. We have a next one soon and we
-
will include you in the CHET group. All right. Last yesterday we went
-
to we went for an MRT ride. Right, It's been a long time
-
since many of them rode a train. It was so good. All right,
-
we went to this place and then we and all the adults that were
-
there, it was so amazing. Maria did such a beautiful um icebreaker and
-
got them to share, you know, and uh, doctor Jill was sharing
-
the message sort of and I think leet was the chapter said, all right,
-
and then we prayed together, all in KFC. It was all in
-
KFC. They just yeah, we just booked out the whole place. And
-
yeahhope As was the guide because he knows the MRT a bit better than us.
-
Okay, he was his second time riding the train or something, but
-
he knows better than us, and he brought us and well then we saw
-
his workplace, you know, at the MRT. It was wonderful. Okay,
-
So exteen's and the teens who didn't manage to join us want to invite
-
you to join us for the next one. I'm not sure what we're doing
-
here, yeah, but we will tell you it's gonna be good. So
-
uh so exteins, hey, we still need help as well if you are
-
to be a part of X teens or X campus X campus all right,
-
X campus, uh where we're working on something, all right, and I
-
believe something is gonna be something's gonna explode right in a good way, in
-
a good way for X campus. We haven't seen it yet. What's going
-
to happen. But it's als. We ain't seen nothing yet. We ain't
-
seen nothing yet for x campus. Amen, So that's going to happen.
-
So if h and we will consider definitely. If you come and you say
-
I want to help in this, I want to do this, we want
-
to involve you, honestly, sometimes even I mean the leaders. We are
-
trying to be as quick as possible also to get people in, but we're
-
also careful to not simply say yes, you're in now, right because there's
-
other there's things to be met, right, Remember the word humility. We
-
want to check that your humble and not for us, meaning are you at
-
least joining the homes? Are you at least connecting with the church, all
-
right, So then we know that, okay, we can trust this person
-
we can trust then okay, then we can involve a bit different now,
-
although we are very excited to involve people straight away all the time, but
-
we also need to know whether they can commit or not. All right,
-
So it is both hand in hand, all right, So don't don't don't
-
give up on that please, all right, go to homes speak to someone,
-
all right. We want to see someone who is able to be accountable,
-
be humble enough to learn and say, and don't come in and say,
-
hey, I know everything about X kits. I don't need to teach
-
me anymore. I'm just gonna do it. Man, I'm a pro.
-
No, they weren't very hard, very hard, because they go to Okay,
-
this guy's not gonna learn anything. Okay, So h yeah, come
-
with a humble heart, with a humble spirit and say I'm here to learn,
-
teach me because I want to serve amen. And you know what,
-
who is it? Who is It's gonna give us living water. When you
-
give that little to Jesus, he's gonna give you more. When you give
-
that little to Jesus, he's gonna give you more. All right, more,
-
hallelujah, more more. Okay, he's given us more. Okay,
-
all right, we move on? How we move on? So that's the
-
point here. Jesus invites us to serve him. Okay. Sometimes he appears
-
to be like in need. Hey, I don't have enough musicians, I
-
don't have enough leaders, right, I don't have enough excis teach us?
-
So he invites us to come serve me, and then he exchanges it for
-
the supernatural amen, living water. Move on, move on, okay,
-
we should end soon. Ready, right. The woman said to him,
-
Sir, give me this water that I will not be thirsty or have to
-
come here to draw water. Everybody wants this night. Everybody wants supernatural from
-
God. I believe everyone here as well. Jesus said to her, go
-
call your husband and come here. The woman answered him, I have no
-
husband. Jesus said to her, you're right in saying I have no husband,
-
for you have had five husbands and the one you now have is not
-
your husband. What you have said is true. All right? What is
-
Let me see here? Okay, pass here? What's going on here?
-
Jesus made more disciples. Remember that when he came to Samaria and he met
-
this lady. Lady, he didn't want to make a convert. He didn't
-
want to make a convert. He was still here to make a disciple.
-
He's still here to make a disciple of this lady. And so he went
-
straight to business. He went straight to ask what's in your phone? You
-
know what I'm saying. He's here. He's straight away went into what's going
-
on with your life? I see it all right, And you know,
-
Jesus very gentle and so leaders. We learn from this. We learn from
-
this. He still says things like, you're right. You know what you
-
say is true. He doesn't say you're wrong, you know you're out,
-
you know you're bad. He doesn't say all that right. You just say,
-
oh, yeah, you're saying the right thing. You say what is
-
true. But Yella, you had have had five husbands and one year with
-
its still not your husband. But he still says the right stuff. You
-
know. It's skill er this Jesus, we learn from him. Let's humble
-
ourself. Don't say I can never be like Jesus are so skilled. Of
-
course we learn. We humble ourself and say, Jesus, you're so good.
-
Uh, I want to learn from you. That's that's the right attitude.
-
Okay, if we say, oh, Jesus are so up there,
-
so skill reready, I can never be like him. Hey, it is
-
pride, man, that's pride. Stumble ourselves said, Jesus, you are
-
really so good. Lad, I'm not there yet, always said the word
-
yet, I'm not there yet, but I think I want to. I
-
want to be like you. If you're like that, I want to be
-
like that. So so what he he he doesn't. He's not negative.
-
But yet he doesn't beat around the bush, you know what I'm saying.
-
He doesn't suddenly say, oh yeah, you're a very good actually actually are
-
a very good lad. Nothing wrong with you, don't need to change.
-
He doesn't lie to her. He still tells the truth in gentleness in love.
-
So he's still firm. Yet he's encouraging. You know, he wants
-
to tell people the truth right in love, truth in love. This is
-
really the example of truth in love. And so he wants to deal.
-
He still wants to deal with our brokenness, our problems, because that is
-
what he's doing, is making disciples. He's teaching, he is making you
-
know, he's helping someone to learn to do the right thing. All right.
-
So he still points out, Yep, what you're doing is still sin.
-
Is still sin, all right, and I'm calling it out. I'm
-
gonna tell you what it is, all right. Jesus wants to deal with
-
our sin for the supernatural to function through a surrendered life. Okay, why
-
because it's Lady asked for living water, you see, you know, living
-
water given to a person there's still living in sin is not gonna work.
-
It's not gonna work because living water needs to work in the right vessel,
-
all right, because there is there are things that are in this person,
-
that's in this person that needs to be worked on so that when she gets
-
that living water, it can actually function the way it should function. All
-
right. Do you understand this? It's like, you know, it's like
-
God, when there's presence or sin, he cannot take it. He doesn't
-
want that. He still wants to deal with sin because when sin is dealt
-
with, then things can function and flow, and then he's holy. And
-
so let's be encouraged. I don't think this negatively that we're humbling ourselves.
-
Right when Jesus wants to deal with our sin. You know it's actually a
-
good thing. It's a good thing. The flesh may say no, it's
-
not, but you know, you're deep down in your spirits saying, yeah,
-
I want that sin to be dealt with. She's messing my life up,
-
it's messing my relationships up, it's messing my mind up. The spirit
-
actually says that the flesh, even my flesh, we'll say no, no,
-
no, no, no, don't do this, don't say it is
-
now, come on, right, I want to continue sitting. That's the
-
flesh. Let's push the flesh down and let's listen to the spirit. The
-
spirit actually says, I want this living water. I don't want this sit
-
in my life. I want Jesus to deal with my sin. And if
-
Jesus wants to check me, I'm going to open up my life to him.
-
Amen. Amen, and all the spirits say amen. Yes, our
-
spirits. All right, I'm gonna encourage all all of our spirits here.
-
Let's say yes to the law. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
