  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea today. My message is called Jesus made more disciples.

  3. This sounds like I said it before, right part two, Right,

  4. Jesus made more disciples of course then John part two. We all heard this

  5. the last time. We realize it's said in the first verse of chapter four,

  6. Jesus made more disciples than John. So if you'll never realize that,

  7. now we know Jesus actually made a lot of disciples. And that's his that's

  8. his that's his job when he came here, all right, because he didn't

  9. come here to straight were going across. Right, If it was so,

  10. he would have done it, you know, as a child, but he

  11. grew up, waited until his thirty eight plus. Yes, all he did

  12. stuff in between, So in between also mattered. So what did Jesus do

  13. in between that was so important? Then he definitely did it. He modeled

  14. it out. He he showed us exactly stuff that we need to do,

  15. all right. He took only thirty plus years to show everything. And then

  16. then he said, okay, I'm done, now I can go right,

  17. So uh, he finished the work. Amen. So we need to take

  18. note of what he did in between before he went to the cross and know

  19. and see what he did, and and uh, he definitely has something to

  20. say to us. Amen. Okay, So so that's what we're doing.

  21. And so, uh, PAT two, Part two. Because I'm still on

  22. John chapter four here, I realized there's a lot of other things here to

  23. say. So I stayed on there um as I prayed, and I saw

  24. the Lord. Uh, you know, I believe he's leading me to just

  25. continue here. So I'm gonna start in Versus thirty one to thirty four.

  26. Kay, Yeah, so let's read this. Meanwhile, the disciples were urging

  27. him, saying, Rabbi, eat, but he said to them, I

  28. have food to eat that you do not know about. So the disciples said

  29. to one another, has anyone brought him something to eat? Right? Jesus

  30. said to them, okay, my food is to do the will of him

  31. who sent me and to accomplish his work. Case stay here for a while.

  32. Right. So background is, Jesus said, made more disciples and John.

  33. So he was on the way back to Galilee because you know, he

  34. didn't want to have trouble with these people for now. So he's going back,

  35. and he took the other way that no one else wanted to take.

  36. Normally, the Jews would take this other way because they want to avoid Samaria.

  37. It's a place they's like no known for them, all right, because

  38. there's a lot of people. They call them the half breeds. They're not

  39. pure, all right, They're not the type you want to hang out with,

  40. so they try to avoid them. But Jesus had to, right,

  41. Remember in the verse days, Jesus had to, which kind of a strange

  42. way of saying it, but he had to because he had a purpose to

  43. go through Samaria. He wanted to do what the others didn't want to do.

  44. I want to go because I have a purpose. I want to meet

  45. people there in Samaria. So there was a background there. He met this

  46. lady right whom he asked for water, which is also a strange thing,

  47. because nobody would talk to a Samaritan, right because they were not pure people,

  48. all right. Uh, they're they're mixed up with different cultures and they

  49. are not following our religion that the Jews will say, and so, but

  50. then Jesus spoke to this lady and asked her for a drink. All right,

  51. And I was saying that Jesus can make rain. But so, but

  52. then he asked this person for a drink. So he's asking her to serve,

  53. all right, So the same thing. When you're serving, you're serving.

  54. Jesus. He can do the sound. Actually, you know, he

  55. can make sound appear anytime, all right. He can he can speak here,

  56. he can speak to us directly. But he asked us to serve.

  57. And so those of us we serve, We serve the food there. We

  58. come an early in the morning, carree instruments, We drink a drink,

  59. pull up thinking of drink. We shake hands, all right, and all

  60. these things we do. Jesus can do it, all right, he's gone.

  61. But then he's asking us, and then we are stepping up to say,

  62. yes, John, yes, Lord, I want to serve, all

  63. right, And that's worship. And so but in exchange he has something greater,

  64. right in uh John four, it would say that Jesus says, I've

  65. got living water, right, I will give you living water, which is

  66. better than anything you can ever find, all right, So uh, that's

  67. what he will exchange for. He will give us that living water. Amen.

  68. So that's the background, and so uh, what happened was this,

  69. this lady was so amazed and she went off and she she's spreading the word

  70. about Jesus. So this is the this is the continuation part. So the

  71. disciples came back and saw actually saw him having conversation with his lady. They

  72. were quiet. They didn't say anything because they respected Jesus right. Otherwise,

  73. Jews were question what are you talking to this? How breed? Were you

  74. talking to these kind of people? You don't understand, you know, But

  75. they did not question him. They they they respected Jesus all right. And

  76. I mean there's just a side note there the things that God is doing in

  77. our lives, and sometimes we feel like you want to question, but actually,

  78. you know the right way. As the disciples, it's just got okay,

  79. God, I know, I trust what you're doing. Trust what you're

  80. doing, all right. I'm not gonna I feel like questions in my heart,

  81. but okay, maybe I won't. I'll trust you. That's what it

  82. means to trust God. Amen. So anyway back here now, so they

  83. were very you know, they're good, good people. Uh. They offered

  84. Jesus eat, Rabbi, We've got some food for you. I'm sure you're

  85. hungry, all right, uh and uh? And then Jesus says, you

  86. know, I've got food that you don't know about, and they are all

  87. mind bogglar because they don't understand this language. Right, what food? And

  88. so Jesus wanted to tell them that I have something, you know, because

  89. physical food refreshes us. Right, how many of you here you love to

  90. eat? Sure? Man, your Malaysians, right, because when Malaysia definitely

  91. love to eat, right, it is so nice, right to just sit

  92. down and eat. Of course eating with people is another thing better, right,

  93. But food, especially good food, it makes you happy, makes you

  94. happy. When you are sad, you eat food, you feel happy at

  95. least for a moment, right, uh and uh. And you know someone

  96. told me so when you feel sick, eat eat as much as you can

  97. because they will actually fight the disease. Right. You strengthen your body to

  98. fight the sickness. So tip for you to sick eat okay, unless it

  99. said the stomach kind of the different, all right, but they also can

  100. you eat the suitable stuff that will help you counter. So anyway, eating

  101. is good, right, Eating refreshes, Eating satisfies you. Eating strengthens you

  102. to do all right to work right if you don't take your breakfast, students,

  103. right, I will hung adults, some of you, I know you

  104. don't eat breakfast. Skip breakfast. Hey, it can cause problems your brains.

  105. Okay, all right, you want to learn, probably, please have

  106. some breakfast. Doesn't have to be heavy breakfast, but eat something. But

  107. this habit of skipping and then coming and thinking you're gonna perform please all right,

  108. okay, all right, please wake up earlier and have some breakfast right

  109. by it before it helps you with your time management. And so all right

  110. because you're thinking a hit. Amen? So okay, So food does all

  111. these things, satisfies and strengthens, and what else is I put another word?

  112. Okay, no, man, all right, But Genus tells us there

  113. is something else that will bring us refreshing. There is something else in this

  114. life that will refresh our heart, our heart, our spirit, which is

  115. this spiritual food that he calls doing the will of him who sent me.

  116. Doing the will of him who sent me is is what really refreshes us.

  117. All right? So, um, you want to sustain, sustain, right,

  118. you want to go the long hall, You want to go the long

  119. journey. You need to understand this food that sustains your spirit and your heart

  120. all right, and makes you happy, gives you joy. You know,

  121. a lot of people nowadays we have this, a lot of this depression,

  122. right, anxiety. I think I believe the counter to that is eat.

  123. Right, Like I said, you're sick, you should eat to nourish and

  124. to make yourself happy. But then the spiritual side of things, emotional is

  125. to feed your spirit and to feed your heart with doing the will of him

  126. who sent me. Right, I want to talk a little bit about this

  127. first line of the red words. Here, do the will of him who

  128. sent me. Just take note of this that Jesus could have said it this

  129. way. My food is to do the will of my father, like he

  130. is. I'm God's son, right, I'm the son of God. I

  131. call him my father. But he does not say that. He says it

  132. this way instead, to do the will of him who sent me, sent

  133. me, meaning he's taking the position of a servant. He's saying a position

  134. of a servant is humble, all right. He's showing us this example,

  135. humble yourself, all right. Uh. He does not take his you know,

  136. he doesn't put a position on himself you know of like, I'm a

  137. son of God, I am God. All right? He says, do

  138. the will of him who sent me? So what did God? And where

  139. is God sending you to do his will? Where has God sent you to

  140. do his will? Some of you you're already sent. You're already in a

  141. place, all right. Some of you, I mean, don't do that

  142. to think already where else? And where else? All right? You're you're

  143. there, you are there, all right. So wherever you're studying, this

  144. is the place God has sent you. I don't think it's a coincidence,

  145. all right. Uh, you thought you chose the place. You thought someone

  146. chose the place for you, some of some of you your parents forced you,

  147. all right. But it is God's sending. So if you begin to

  148. recognize that, and then we begin to open our eyes, Oh I'm here.

  149. God has sent me here. What is his will for me? What

  150. does he want me to do here in this place? All right? Could

  151. be where you're studying, could be. Uh. You know, when you're

  152. born in that family, you're sent down. You were you were born in

  153. family, had no choice, right, So what is that will of God

  154. in that family you've been sent to? All right? And also in church.

  155. This is the church. You are here right now. You've been sent

  156. here to this church. And also of course the church has been sent to

  157. you, all right. And since we're both here, we meet together here

  158. halfway. So what is His will for you here? All right? Is

  159. it just to sit down and listen to sermons? That's part of it.

  160. It's part of it, all right. But what else? What is it

  161. that God has sent you to do? What is His will for you?

  162. Campus students want to speak to us here for a while, right of course,

  163. you know we were doing a change with ex campus. But you know,

  164. exciting things are coming, Exciting things are already here, all right,

  165. And I want to encourage you. You are not here just to study,

  166. yes, definitely, please study, Please study, Please do well, all

  167. right, Please score and do your study as well, all right. But

  168. I believe that's not the only thing, you know why. I've heard it

  169. before, and I believe it's still the same this age, at least campus.

  170. It's the time where a lot of people come to know Jesus seriously,

  171. when you start working really as a different story, because firstly, the people

  172. are not so diverse anymore. It's always a fixed group of people you see,

  173. all right, and they are a lot of them are fixed already in

  174. their mind this is what I want, okay. But in your campus students,

  175. everyone has a bit more openness. They are being open because they're exploring

  176. life. You know, they're learning to make decisions. And that's where,

  177. Uh, there is such openness Amen, to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  178. And I want to encourage you. You have a mission there college students,

  179. university students. Uh, there's an open door for us there, and

  180. we and the church we want to work together with you. We can't be

  181. there. We can't go into your campuses all the time. Maybe once in

  182. a while go visit, but we don't have so much influence over them,

  183. but you do. They're your friends. You know. When you say something,

  184. will you invite them to somewhere, they will come, all right.

  185. When we usually comes at your coma, you'll be like who are you?

  186. Why are you? As you know? And then we try to build with

  187. them. So it takes it needs time, but you already there your friends

  188. with them, they trust you. Amen, So you have a mission.

  189. All right, college students, look to your college friends and tell you you

  190. have a mission you have a mission. Amen. All right? So what

  191. is God's will for you to this place he has sent you? And then

  192. it says there to accomplish his work. To accomplish his work. You know

  193. our theme for ex charges Heaven rules, Amen, Heaven rules. But then

  194. there's another line that says to the finishing line, the finishing line, and

  195. this is in line with that, to finish the work, to finish the

  196. work. And uh so what is the work that needs to be finished?

  197. What is the work that Jesus is trying to finish? It is the will

  198. that he of God that he was sent to do, all right. So

  199. uh, and that's why we say the title Jesus came to make more disciples.

  200. He's making disciples even now and he is continuing to make disciples because when

  201. we make disciples, and when we have disciples, then the work can be

  202. finished. Amen. Without disciples, then uh, it's hanging. It's hanging.

  203. So the work that needs to be finished, you need to make disciples

  204. like Jesus make disciples. Amen. Okay. And uh you know, um,

  205. you I want to encourage you. You should. I mean, you

  206. pray, you pray, you seek God. I believe God speaks to each

  207. and every one of you specifically what you need to do, amen, Just

  208. like Noah. Noah, right, he got the instructions from God to make

  209. the arc, you know, very detailed and the measurements the exact material that

  210. needs to be used to so that the boat won't sink, right sort of

  211. what that won't seep in. He has a very specific instructions. So the

  212. same thing with all of us. I believe God can speak to us just

  213. like Noah, giving you specific instructions, what exactly do I need to do

  214. a lot? And but you know how God speaks to Noah. The thing

  215. about Noah is before that you will read, all right, if you read

  216. the story of Noah, says why God chose Noah because God? Because Noah

  217. walked with God, walked with God. So that's the key. Let's walk

  218. with God. Let let's at least start with that walk with God. How

  219. do you walk with God? Pray? Let's I mean at least prayer,

  220. praise, walking with God, knowing his word, reading his word, walking

  221. with God. You know, fellowshipping together with the people of God is walking

  222. with God. Right, I'm sure you know what it means to walk with

  223. God. I'm sure you know. So walk with God because then he wants

  224. to give us specific instructions. Okay, for the will that he has for

  225. you to finish his work. How many of you here want to be refreshed?

  226. You want be refreshed then to the will of him who sent you,

  227. because that's that's the better food. Right, have your lunch, have your

  228. real maccan and all that your your physical food. But then Jesus says,

  229. that is food that's better than the physical food. A man, All right,

  230. come on, let's move on. So I have this point here.

  231. The point is, even after as we have spoken to about all this,

  232. the point is making disciples is priority to Jesus. It is why you know

  233. why? Because uh, the disciple comes say eat the head on a So

  234. I go something to say, So, yeah, Jesus, had you know,

  235. didn't want to make disciples. You say, okay, thank you done,

  236. Lord, thank you for this food. Right, But he sees the

  237. food guys offer him, says, I got food that you don't know of.

  238. Like what ever, you want to say something? You know why because

  239. his priority is to make disciples, right, So I'm not telling you every

  240. moment you say that to someone let's do homework. I've got homework that you

  241. do not know. I not say get off philosophy, go with people,

  242. but there's always something to learn. There's always a teaching moment. So if

  243. you know the teaching moment, use it. Use the teaching moment a right.

  244. If there's a problem with people's timing, right, there's a teaching moment,

  245. right, speak about it. Don't just leave it, because when you

  246. leave it alone for too long, it also shows you don't care. All

  247. Right, white white people address timing problems. I say, you're late for

  248. whatever school. However, we address it because we want good for you.

  249. Right, it's not it's not put anyone down. Right. If some one

  250. bakes a cake and it's not edible, right, if we leave it alone,

  251. we say we don't care, go ahead and keep making kikes that it's

  252. not edible and poison everyone. You're saying that without saying anything, right,

  253. But if you care for the person, you should give that. You know.

  254. I ate the day. I got stomach eight tell tell, I mean

  255. not not not announcing from everybody? La? Right? Can you bring your

  256. aside? You beat the kicks? It's nice, but I got stomach just

  257. to let you know, right, so you want to consider some things,

  258. maybe something not cooke or whatever. Yeah, why you're you're you're you're sharing

  259. valuable feedback right. Well, of course, find the right time right now.

  260. I if I do that to my wife all the time, right,

  261. there are moments that they can it's not the time to to teach me like.

  262. So there's good times, there's good times to do it. There's the

  263. right time. I believe you know you can. You can also see God

  264. for that the time when we should speak to somebody about stuff. But remember

  265. Jesus's priority is to make disciples. Amen. Okay, next one, let's

  266. read all right, yeah, thirty five to thirty eight over here, and

  267. again I highlighted the words so our children can write that down. Do you

  268. not say there are yet four months? Then comes to harvests. Look,

  269. I tell you, lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white

  270. for harvests already. The one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for

  271. eternal life, so that souler and reaper may rejoice together. Okay, next

  272. light, for here the same holds true. One souls and another reaps.

  273. I sent you, Remember I sent you the remember the first thing we were

  274. saying, I do the will of him who sent me. I sent you

  275. to read that which for which you did not labor. Others have labored,

  276. and you have entered into their labor. All right, can we go back

  277. to the previous slide, Frederick Judah, Okay, yeah, so see that

  278. the fields are white for harvests. Okay, so um so before that says,

  279. you know, do the will of him who sent me. I want

  280. to finish the work, right, and he says, now see that the

  281. fields are white for harvests. You know, there are actually many people ready

  282. to believe. There are many people around us who are ready to believe.

  283. But whether we actually offered it to them, whether we have shared it with

  284. them, whether we have shown it to them, because if they don't see,

  285. they don't hear, they won't know. But you know, they're actually

  286. ready, they're ready to believe, they're ready to follow, they're ready to

  287. be a disciple. So let's not as seem that they're not gonna believe.

  288. They're not gonna listen to me, they're not going This thing stops us from

  289. actually doing anything. It stops us from actually saying anything to anyone because it's

  290. I don't know, it's fear. Uh, maybe it's maybe it's pride,

  291. right, why because you feel like I'm gonna embarrass myself if I say something

  292. about God to somebody here, They're gonna ask me a lot questions. They're

  293. like, oh, okay, I don't know how to answer. Better save

  294. my my energy. Right, it could be a pride thing for not one

  295. thing, to share the gospel, share Christ with somebody. Um. And

  296. you know when we say share, it's not always words, right, it

  297. can be action. It's action. And so sometimes we shy away from even

  298. the right action because we are afraid or they're gonna know I'm christin. They're

  299. gonna know I'm a goody two shoe or whatever. Right, so I just

  300. joined them and be like them, all right. So that's a that's a

  301. challenger. I know with a lot of us in myself, right, we

  302. want to we want to blend in. But you know, the field is

  303. right for harvest. Everyone repeat after me, the field is right for harvest.

  304. It is a lot of people are actually ready to believe and follow.

  305. So we need to get this mindset right to remember that it is already a

  306. lot of things have already prepared, been prepared for us a man. So

  307. the point here all right, we will move on soon, but there's a

  308. point there. Next slides. The point is okay, right, one more,

  309. Yeah, Jesus has already pioneered and prepared a harvest for us. Why

  310. the fact that he died at the cross us. He has already done a

  311. big part of the job, right. And there's this story about Jesus that's

  312. all over the places in the Bible. A lot of people actually have a

  313. pre They already have an idea even before we have to share. So we

  314. just need to come in halfway. It's not work from scratch. You know,

  315. a lot of things have been already prepared and done for us. We

  316. just need to know where. Now we need to come in and see that

  317. the harvest is ready to be harvested. Amen. I was at a farm

  318. yesterday with Paul and a few others. Uh. There's this farm right,

  319. some of you know, the farm in Cyberjaya. And then we harvested a

  320. lot of vegetables days already already, all the fruits already there, and then

  321. there's pluck and ready to cook and eat. Somebody already did the job.

  322. Amen. But of course then some of them planted some new plants. Right,

  323. Yes, there is time for planting new But when we went in there,

  324. everything's done, the whole everything's grown. The trees are all up there,

  325. and fruits already. I took a fig, and I ask permission.

  326. But I do think right home, we ate it at home. It's like

  327. whoa perfect perfect, so good, right, and so many people are ready

  328. to be harvested, and the fruit is so good, right, look forward

  329. to that. And when we taste of that fruit, it is celebration a

  330. man. Celebration is good, it's great, it's wonderful, hallelujah. So

  331. but now I will move on to this next part here talking about um,

  332. you know as as a field is ready right for harvests, hallelujah. So

  333. many Samaritans from the town believed in him because of the woman's testimony. So

  334. the woman, right, Jesus spoke to her, told her, you know,

  335. do you have any husband? She said no, I don't have any

  336. husband, and say, yeah, exactly, but the person you are with

  337. is not your husband, all right, And and so she she to her,

  338. Wow, you know things that you can tell me stuff just a background.

  339. I did be a study. The Jews believed that the Messiah can tell

  340. them everything. So that's why she was very convinced is the Messiah. So

  341. that's why she went. I met Messiah straight because he can tell me everything.

  342. He can tell me everything about myself, right, So that's the sign

  343. of Mansiah at the time. So just to tell you why she was so

  344. convinced so quickly. So anyway, she believed all right, so she went

  345. there. She spread the word. Many Smaritans from the town believed in him

  346. because of the woman's testimony. Everyone say testimony. He told me all that

  347. I ever did. So when the Sumaritans came to him, they asked him

  348. to stay with them, and he stayed there two days. They loved Jesus

  349. to even ask him for stay to stay one more day, two days,

  350. right, because you know how they were treat it to them. It's like

  351. the Jews don't like us, so we're not gonna like the Jews, so

  352. they won't welcome. But the fact that they welcome Jesus for two days to

  353. stay, they really loved him a man. They believed so, and many

  354. more believed because of his word. They said to the woman, it is

  355. no longer because of what you said that we believe for we have heard for

  356. ourselves and we know that this is indeed the savior of the world. So

  357. they believed. All right, So let's let's go back to the slight before

  358. again because I want to look at the highlight red Woods slight before. Okay,

  359. good right, Let's focus on this now. What is the two things

  360. that we need here? The field is ripe for harvests. It's very simple

  361. here, right, These are tools for us. So you know what you

  362. need to do, right, and you know what you need to be able

  363. to harvest. First, it is this testimony, the woman's testimony. Every

  364. one of us here we have a testimony. We have a testimony, definitely,

  365. children have testimony, right, all of us adults we have testimony,

  366. right, salve us here, we remember our testimony more. I can't remember.

  367. I say, we will remember our testimony more because many of us we

  368. actually have test money, but we don't remember the testimony right, or we

  369. are not used to sharing the testimony. That's why it doesn't come out easily.

  370. But actually there is. We just need to dig it. Remember God,

  371. remember his goodness, his grace in our lives. Then we can share

  372. it. That's why sometimes we have practice sharing a testimony. Some sessions just

  373. practice sharing to each other, all right, so that when we meet our

  374. friends it comes out easier. Try and practice at least sharing your testimony to

  375. yourself law maybe all right? You know, when I prepare messages, I

  376. appreciate myself. I sit down there at night, everyone's sleeping read I just

  377. try and preach to myself and then go like does it make sense when I

  378. say this? All right? Uh? And uh. The more I practice,

  379. the more I preach to myself, the better it comes out. I

  380. mean meaning on Sunday, I also amazed myself, like what I just said

  381. that? She amazed myself, Like, what is amazing? That's definitely from

  382. the Lord. So I would encourage you, same thing with you all,

  383. with all of us here your testimonia. Some of you you share like I

  384. cannot come up from me. You gonna then you give up? There,

  385. I can't share. That's the one. I forget it. I just gonna

  386. stay silent. Don't give up. I don't encourage you, don't give up.

  387. It's just the beginning. It's okay, all right. I used to

  388. started preaching like that, and I still do sometimes I still do all right,

  389. um, because I didn't practice enough. But what I'm saying is,

  390. don't give up practice practice sharing testimony to one another, right, practice to

  391. the merciful people. First, are your face very merciful? Let me practice

  392. chef testimony, are chef ferst cheferst? All right, simple testimony? Then

  393. see what they laugh at you? Right, and and then give feedback,

  394. right, because they're doing making you a disciple, isn't it. So they

  395. give feedback to you kindly, all right, But that's the start, because

  396. then you get better at it. Come on, come on, everyone,

  397. do we do we desire? Do we are we willing? All right?

  398. Not many of us come up here in preach, lie, right, but

  399. you you, you, you are at your workplace, you are at your

  400. colleges. There's your friends there, right, and you can you can share

  401. God's work by by sharing your testimony. All right, let's do that.

  402. And uh. Then the next thing is many more believed verse forty one because

  403. of his word. Because of his word. That is the next thing.

  404. That's where it's sharing God's word preaching, right, But let's start with testimony.

  405. Testimony is easier than preaching the word. Testimony is easier, definitely,

  406. because it's from you. It's your own story. Right, Sometimes what you

  407. need to do type it down, write, write it out, read it

  408. out if you have to. Right, that's why we encourage sharing testimony here.

  409. So share testimony here, right, you're practicing. We ask people to

  410. write down because sometimes they say too much. Oh they don't want to say

  411. so they're saying and they and they go to another part of the story that

  412. is non related, and it goes all over the place. But we encourage

  413. write it down so when you say it, it's focused. Amen. All

  414. right, So what is it that we need? What are the tools testimony?

  415. Testimony and the word testimony and the word So that's the next slide there,

  416. right, I'm gonna end soon. Our part, our part to play

  417. is to have a life of testimony. Right, there's always a testimony.

  418. Tell your neighbor you always have a testimony. Where if I heard that before,

  419. that's more, right, more, it's more, it's more more.

  420. I think I heard that from you, because I I went, I brought

  421. him to X three Kamangan. Then I dropped the bomb on him because since

  422. he wanted to come, I said, you've got to do something, right,

  423. I said more, maybe you should testimony at x thri Kamangan And then

  424. he's he's, he's, he's. His response is, I always have a

  425. testimony, bro, I always have a testimony ready ready. So I believe

  426. that's the same for all of us here. We always have a testimony for

  427. sure, a man, just as sometimes we forget. You just need to

  428. remember it a man, hallelujah. So our part is to have a testimony,

  429. live a life of testimony, and to know his word. Maybe I'm

  430. not preaching yet, but at least know his word. At least. Come,

  431. let's read read the Bible. Let's know God's word. Amen. Then

  432. finally, last part of this. Come okay, let's all read this together.

  433. Let's get the children to read or wait, wait this very long.

  434. Come okay, next sight First, this whole story of this official, I

  435. would just read it. I would just read it. So he came again

  436. to Cana in Galilee. He's he's arriving, already's arriving right now. Jesus

  437. is arriving to Galilee where he had made the water into wine. That's his

  438. first miracle. Right. And at Kapernaum there was an official whose son was

  439. ill Ill means not well. When this man heard that Jesus had come from

  440. Judia to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to calm down and

  441. heal his son, for he was at the point of death. It was

  442. a bad illness. The son was going to die. You know, it's

  443. a very sad thing. I know, I mean, Dad's if your children

  444. were so sick and at the point of death, it is a very difficult

  445. thing. So he came all the way here to meet Jesus next one.

  446. So Jesus said to him, unless you see signs and wonders, you will

  447. not believe. Right. The officials said to him, sir, come down

  448. before my child dies. Jesus said to him, go, your son will

  449. live. The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on

  450. his way. Then as he was going down, his servants met him and

  451. told him that his son was recovering. Phrase God next slide. So he

  452. asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to

  453. him yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him. The father

  454. knew that that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, your son

  455. will live, and he himself believed and all his household. This was now

  456. the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Julia to get Lily.

  457. He man, all right, just gonna rewind and they will come back

  458. to this light. Don't worry if you're copying notes once light before. Yeah,

  459. okay, passia, So sia. What happened was this guy he's an

  460. official. What does that mean? The official is under a royalty family or

  461. something, or maybe works for the royalty. At that time, the king

  462. was Herod Herod, right, I think there's two Herods, but one Herod.

  463. What happened was when Jesus was born, he heard about Messiah, which

  464. is the coming king, and he was a horrible guy and he didn't want

  465. another king already. Maybe he didn't want another king from another line, so

  466. he there was a a there's a part in the gospel. You notice that

  467. harod Uh commanded for little boys to be killed under two years old. So

  468. that is part of the story of Christmas, all right, And Herod actually

  469. made that happen, but he missed Jesus. He didn't get to kill Jesus.

  470. So that's why Jesus is a bit like Moses because Moses also had to

  471. go through the same thing. The Egyptian pharaoh wanted to kill all the boys,

  472. right. So, uh so this Herod is a horrible guy, all

  473. right, and he's against whoever that is a coming king. So he keeps

  474. hearing Massiah all these things. They don't like that, right, And so

  475. this official is actually working with Herod. And for the for him to actually

  476. come all the way to meet Jesus is something different, right, he believes,

  477. and so he comes here right, risking his life and its risking his

  478. reputation at least, and comes and then he comes to Jesus and again again

  479. the title of this message, Jesus made more disciples. Come ready, ask

  480. Jesus, can you come and heal? And you know what Jesus does.

  481. He teaches he makes disciples. Unless you see signs and wonders, you will

  482. not believe. He's kind of like scolding if why y'all keep seeking for signs

  483. and wonders. You know you can believe without looking for this, right,

  484. That's what he's saying. So when encourage you, you can believe without looking

  485. for signs and wonders. So, but he says, unless you see then

  486. only you believe, you know. So he's challenging his faith. He appreciates

  487. the guy coming to him, meaning he humbled himself. The official humbled himself

  488. to come to Jesus this way, and so Jesus saw the opportunity. This

  489. guy is umbling himself. And so it's a teaching moment. So I want

  490. to tell you your faith, your faith. He is challenging, why do

  491. you need to see signs and wonders? Right? And so after that,

  492. after he teaches, then and then the official says it again, sir,

  493. calm down, come, come, come to the place where my son is

  494. because to him, maybe miracle workers need to be there, add that room

  495. to touch or maybe do a ritual or whatever, then maybe the magic can

  496. happen. So to him, his mind is that you must come, he

  497. must come. You are too far away, right now, come nearer to

  498. my son, touch him right, pray for him, breathe on him or

  499. whatever, right, do something. So but then Jesus again wants to make

  500. a disciple, and he says he didn't say that, but he's she's saying,

  501. I'm not coming. I'm not coming because I don't need to come.

  502. I don't need to come. I'm gonna change what you have in your mind.

  503. You're thinking I'm some miracle worker, come in there and do some ritual

  504. for you. I'm not coming. But what he says, go go,

  505. your son will live. I don't even need to be there. He will

  506. live because just because of what I said, right, And the man believed,

  507. because he wants to be a disciple, he wants to follow Jesus.

  508. And so he believed. And he went on his way. And as he

  509. was going down, this is very interesting. He went on his way.

  510. You know, it sounds like it's a far away place. Why I say

  511. that is because he better his way. He was going down, the serving

  512. met him, told him the sun is recovering next night. I'll tell you

  513. why. It sounds like it's a far away place. Or maybe I don't

  514. know how what was the reason. But he asked him when did he get

  515. better? He didn't even see the sun get better. So, first thing

  516. I want to tell us is first thing. If he didn't trust Jesus,

  517. you know what her father will do if he goes there, Come Jesus,

  518. Come Jesus, you know, come here, and Jesus, I'm not coming.

  519. You go, you go. He's gonna live, they will be like,

  520. what you know, Yeah, I don't think he's gonna work. Then

  521. you know, I'm gonna I'm gonna run back or run to wherever and find

  522. plan B. But this guy, he didn't look for plan B. He

  523. took his time. Whatever was that. I don't know him. He stayed

  524. one night there and then on he went back, or he walked really slowly.

  525. However, because he says yesterday he wasn't there to see the sun get

  526. well, but his belief and trust was evident, and so he asked where

  527. did he get better? And the servant says, yesterday, at the seventh

  528. hour, the fever left him. He was well since yesterday, so he

  529. only came the next day to see what is opening. So this shows his

  530. trust, his faith in Jesus. And the father knew that was the hour,

  531. right that Jesus said to him, your son will live. So he

  532. trusted and he himself, you know, his faith increased. He believed even

  533. more. And not only that, he probably shared his testimony he should pray,

  534. shared to his family, the whole household. Whole household believed. Amen,

  535. Hallelujah, praise God. This is salvation. Salvation in the whole family.

  536. And you know this is a very risky one because, like I said,

  537. the official is HEROD who's against Jesus. And so these guys actually took

  538. the risk the whole family going with Jesus. Wow, this is an amazing

  539. salvation story. Amen, hallelujah. And so what's this point here? Making

  540. this side piles is still priority to Jesus. Yes, there's an amazing miracle

  541. story going on here. But you see it in between what Jesus did.

  542. He spoke to the guy and said, hey, don't just look for signs

  543. and wonders. And when the guy says come you know, sometimes we have

  544. a preconceived idea how God's going to work in our lives. But you know

  545. God's gonna tell you, no, I'm not gonna do that, but this

  546. is what I'm gonna do. Can you believe this is what I'm gonna do?

  547. Can you trust? And so will you now rush to Plan B or

  548. will you say, Okay, God, I'll trust you. I'll take my

  549. time and I will do what I need to do. And I want to

  550. show that I trust you. Hallelujah. Making disciples is still priority to Jesus.

  551. I wanted to emphasize this because I'm saying this to all of us here.

  552. You know what's your what's your mission, what's your mission? Let's do

  553. what Jesus does. You're definitely going to make disciples in your life. You're

  554. gonna make this sciples out of the people that is around you. But first,

  555. as we said before, first we make ourselves a disciple. We make

  556. ourselves a disciple, because that's where it starts. Jesus himself was a disciple

  557. because whatever the Father told him, he will do. Whatever the Father wanted

  558. him to go. Wherever he wanted him go, he went. So that

  559. is a disciple. Jesus himself was the ultimate disciple. So he's already started

  560. that. He's already shown us the way. So we are not lost.

  561. We have clear directions from God. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
