  1. You're listening to a message to go from Extrich. We hope this message will

  2. light up your team today. I will. I'm gonna talk from I'm gonna

  3. speak from the Book of John chapter five. All right, So Book with

  4. John is a title here. Do you really want to be healed? Do

  5. you really want to be healed? Okay, so that's the question there.

  6. Let's start with Versus one to three we're gonna read. Okay, So all

  7. right, let's look at this John five one to three. After this there

  8. was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now

  9. there is there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool in Aramaic a

  10. form of language, all right, called batista, which has five roofed colonnades.

  11. In these lay a multitude of invalids, blind, lame, and paralyzed.

  12. When I first read the words like, well, some sounds really bad

  13. to call someone that invalids, But that's that's that's also a medical term.

  14. But basically it just means people who can't function as as normal. So because

  15. they're blind, you know, so they need extra help. They can't walk,

  16. they can't move something, something is not functioning okay, so but they

  17. lay a multitude, right. Did you notice that there's a lot of them

  18. there at this place, uh, in this pool here called Bethesta all right.

  19. Uh Now, when I read this, all right, how I relate

  20. to this is, um, you know, there are a lot of people

  21. who are also unwell, not just you know, physically, but you know

  22. it was spiritually right, many there are many blind spiritually, there are many

  23. who are paralyzed spiritually, right, and also you know they can't function spiritually

  24. the way they should be functioning. All right. Uh And so this is

  25. how I I saw that when I read this, and you know, as

  26. I believe, the Holy Spirit led me in getting this message. So uh

  27. now I just want to talk a little bit about let me see, but

  28. there's the maybe just talk a little bit about that name. But that's that

  29. word actually means house of mercy, house of mercy, house of grace.

  30. It sounds like a good place, all right. That's why they're there,

  31. and they're like looking for something. They're there, the multitudes of them,

  32. many of them, right, They are not well and they are there.

  33. This place is called house of mercy, to look for something, for some

  34. mercy, for some blessing. But you know, I when I read the

  35. meaning of the word, but testa right. Funnily, there's the opposite meaning

  36. or meaning. No, sorry, not opposite, but there's another meaning.

  37. But I don't know how it works out. Sometimes the language it works this

  38. way. It also means for some reason, it also means shame, shame,

  39. and disgrace. So okay, Like like I said, I don't understand

  40. how that language works, but it also means shame and disgrace. So um,

  41. these guys are going to this place hoping for something, looking for something,

  42. and as we read on, we realize there is, uh, there

  43. is a They believe that what happens in this pool is that there's somehow there's

  44. this stirring of the pool that happens, and they believe it's an angel stirring

  45. it. And then when you see that happen, you've got to kind of

  46. jump in there and then you can receive power of healing and then you can

  47. be blessed that way otherwise, meaning what I understand from this is when the

  48. pool is not stirred and then there's a miracle, you're going there, You're

  49. just you know, swimming in the pool, all right, so that's why

  50. I understand. So it's like like a rare moment of waiting for that stirring

  51. to happen, and there's so many of them, and so only a few

  52. people get this blessing apparently. All right, So anyway, um so now

  53. we move on. We move on, and you see, as you realize,

  54. you realize this, it's quite interesting. Look at this right verse one,

  55. two, three, verse four. It's not here. It's not my

  56. mistake. It's not a mistake. On the slide right there's it's three,

  57. then no, four, then five. Then I also got interested and I

  58. go like, what's going on? And then apparently it's like fifty to fifty

  59. Some manuscripts some some documents don't have verse four. Apparently it was included,

  60. and it talks about some angels stirring the thing, you know, so uh,

  61. I mean possibly what it means is that thing is maybe maybe it actually

  62. happens or works. So that's why some scriptures just remove that part and say

  63. this is the story. Actually there's this pool. I don't know exactly what

  64. happens, all right, but people think about this pool being stirred by angels

  65. and then they jump in and get healed. So it's like, maybe like

  66. what's the word for it, superstition could be okay, but never mind,

  67. all right, just leave it there because I found it interesting. Away it

  68. was four is there now? Then verse five says that, yeah, oh

  69. come on, sorry, sorry, just not The previous slide was oh,

  70. oh okay, I'm okay, go next light, the next right, all

  71. right. So one man was there who had been in a valid for thirty

  72. eight years. Thirty eight years, all right, I'm like forty plus years

  73. old. Now if I think back from when I was born until now,

  74. there's a long time. And someone who has been there who I don't know

  75. what his real problem was, maybe couldn't move right for thirty eight years.

  76. That's a very long time. I tell your neighbor that very long, very

  77. long. It's been a long time. This guy has been there, sitting

  78. there so uh and waiting. So now the question here is, you know,

  79. could it be you know, how many of us here maybe we've been

  80. waiting and waiting for something to happen in our lives and it's been a long

  81. time, all right, some of us, you know, maybe we have

  82. a belief on something of how things work, and then we were hoping that

  83. something changes and some miracle happens in our lives from this faith that we have

  84. on whatever it is. Could it be the wrong place that we're waiting?

  85. Just like this guy, he went to this place thinking he's hearing whatever.

  86. Maybe he heard a rumor, he heard some story that this happens, and

  87. he's there. But for thirty eight years he's been there, not thing has

  88. happened to him. But he still believes that's a good thing. He believes.

  89. But are we believing the right thing? Are we believing in the right

  90. thing? Are we had the Are we at the right place all right to

  91. receive our breakthrough? And so many of us maybe I've been waiting. I'm

  92. just thinking about, for example, maybe some things you've been doing, even

  93. in church, you've been doing it for a long time, and you thought

  94. that's the way I have been doing it. Maybe that's how I should be

  95. doing it. All right, But it's good to just kind of just ask

  96. the question, am I doing the right thing? Am I at the right

  97. place? All right? Am I actually really seeking God? Or am I

  98. just doing stuff and it's actually not what God wants us to do? All

  99. right? All Right? I'm thinking of let's say even something like discipleship,

  100. discipleship. Maybe you have a fixed idea of what discipleship is, and so

  101. you're expecting this, this, this to happen, and maybe the leader's not

  102. doing that, and then you go like, man, see I'm not getting

  103. discipleship, but it is that how God wants you to have discipleship, all

  104. right, and so uh, same same thing right with this guy. Right,

  105. he's just sitting there, he's just waiting, he's laying down. There

  106. are many other maybe other examples, but let's move on and then we'll see.

  107. You know, I believe the Lord is going to show you and reveal

  108. to us some of these things that we've been sitting around waiting. Maybe we're

  109. down and it's discouraging and we've been waiting there for a long time. Okay,

  110. let's move on. Let's move on verse six six to seven. Okay,

  111. when Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there

  112. a long time, if you if you notice, I highlighted the words again.

  113. All right, so the children, you know, know what to write.

  114. You can write the highlighted words. Okay. So right, Jesus saw

  115. him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time.

  116. Pause that first, Jesus sees. Jesus saw, and Jesus knows. Jesus

  117. knew, that knows that you are waiting there for a long time, all

  118. right, Jesus sees what you're doing. Jesus knows. And then he said,

  119. he said to him, do you want to be healed? What a

  120. strange question to ask a guy who has been sitting there for thirty eight years

  121. in this pool, believing that I'm going to get healed? Do you want

  122. to be healed? W's like, obviously I'm here thirty eight years, won't

  123. be healer, all right, But Jesus still asks a question, because he's

  124. actually really asking the question, do you actually really want to be healed?

  125. The sick man answered him, and he said, he doesn't say yes,

  126. sir, right he gives he talks, Sir. I have no one to

  127. put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I

  128. am going, another steps down before me, spoorting Lord, I can't right,

  129. no one is helping me to get in there, and and then whenever

  130. I'm just about to, then someone else goes in. Every time for thirty

  131. eight years. Can you believe that for thirty eight years? Can't? Can

  132. it be that every time he's about to and then someone steps in, all

  133. right, hello, hello, all right, So this is what you know.

  134. I X church. Ow. We're trying to work with this, all

  135. right. I know it doesn't it sounds very stronger, but first were like,

  136. but it is the word that you know. Past kinda shouts excuse proof

  137. church, excuse proof church. All right, okay, no saying, no

  138. one helping me? Lah, all right. Every time I want to then

  139. someone else go first. Right, I want to talk to pasta Jack,

  140. but then every time he's so busy, someone else talk to him first.

  141. Oh right, I'm talking about right, so uh and and and no one

  142. is helping me here in this church, all right. So I'm just saying

  143. I know they're trying to relate it to this, and so we want to

  144. be an excuse proof church, all right. And so that's why Jesus asked,

  145. do you really want to be healed? Because you know what it means

  146. when you are actually healed, mentioning this guy is always lying down there for

  147. three eight years. Does he do anything? He doesn't do anything. He

  148. doesn't need to work, all right, maybe food or so someone brings it

  149. to him, all right, he will just say, hey, give me

  150. the food, give me the food, right, whatever it is, and

  151. he doesn't do anything. But you know, when you know, for three

  152. eight years, if he actually gets healed, you know what he needs to

  153. do now he needs to walk. Now, he needs to walk, and

  154. now he needs to get his own food. Now he needs to work,

  155. right, and he has to change. His life has to change. And

  156. so that's why the question is do you really want to be healed, because

  157. now you've got to work? And so maybe half thinking like, actually,

  158. maybe it is nice to be just lying down here because someone else always bringing

  159. something for me, you know, I you know, I don't need to

  160. work, and you know the mid donations, I mean it's not much,

  161. not donations, but I still get some, you know. So maybe half

  162. of his mind is like, it's okay, Actually it's not too bad a

  163. life laying down being carried around. Right. The other interesting thing I'm thinking

  164. about this this I always thought when I read this that this guy has been

  165. lying there for three eight years. But you know, it's impossible to live,

  166. to still be alive, you just lie down there for thirty eight years.

  167. Obviously he eats something. Obviously he I you know, I don't know,

  168. maybe he does go to toilet or whatever. It is, so all

  169. right, and i' mean doing some reading. Also according to you know,

  170. just scholars are you know, they're thinking this guy definitely gets help from friends,

  171. and so possible that he gets carried to this place kind of like regularly

  172. because he said, okay, bring me there. Now, I need to

  173. go to the pool to receive my thing, all right, and so some

  174. friends, maybe like kind hunter people come and help him and bring him there,

  175. and so he gets you know, he travels, he goes back and

  176. forth kind of thing. He doesn't just lay there for three eight years.

  177. It's impossible. He's still alive, all right. So the fact that he's

  178. still alive or three eight years means that he gets some help, all right.

  179. But somehow the friend doesn't help him jump into the water. Okay,

  180. they help him like that, say okay, okay, okay, all right,

  181. continue to stay there, all right, hopefully you jump in out today.

  182. Hopefully you jump in today. But gay bye bye. It's kind of

  183. strange, you know, So it's like, uh, yeah, so that's

  184. what I'm imagining. All right, he gets some help, but I'll talk

  185. about that later. So the question is, are you sure you want to

  186. be healed? Are usual sure you want your breakthrough? Are you sure you

  187. want discipleship? Are you sure you want to serve? Because when you serve,

  188. it's not easy. When you serve, you gotta wake up earlier.

  189. When you serve, you gotta pay transport Kevin. Kevin went to Chrust last

  190. week all by himself, right, of course, Ellen or foot to say,

  191. I want to provide transport. But you know, in this church,

  192. we also have this culture when a girl and a guy all right, I'm

  193. gonna go to travel together. We try not to okay, no risk and

  194. stay here? Can still here? Right? Can stay here? Okay?

  195. All right? So we try not too loud, you know, too much

  196. time in the car alone, especially not married. You know kind of think

  197. that. So so we did you say, elin, chill, all right,

  198. chill? Then ask Kevin you're okay, You're okay? It is it?

  199. Okay? How are you gonna go? He said, grab, okay,

  200. well done. That's worship went to the lot anyway. So what I'm

  201. saying is you sure you want to serve? You're sure you want to worship,

  202. You're sure you want to be well, you want to have a breakthrough,

  203. because when you get a breakthrough, there's something waiting for you. There's

  204. something waiting for you, you know, as as as in exoderst you know

  205. when when Moses goes to Pharaoh, he says, he'll say to Pharaoh,

  206. let my people go, let them have let them be free. It doesn't

  207. stop there. It's not let them be free, free, free, free,

  208. let the fly fly fly fly, whoa freedom everything so nice. It's

  209. not that it's let my people go to worship the Lord. Let my people

  210. go to serve the Lord, meaning because they're serving you, Pharaoh, that's

  211. not right. Let them go to serve the true God instead. So it's

  212. actually not freedom and flying around roaming. It's not that, it's actually freedom

  213. to serve, freedom to do something. So the same thing here, you

  214. really want to have a breakthrough. The breakthrough then comes with are you ready

  215. to serve? Then? Are you ready to work? Are you ready to

  216. walk? All right? So that's the that's the thing I'm catching from this.

  217. Amen. So now verse seven, yeah, I really read it it.

  218. Oh yeah, sorry, just want to focus on verse seven, a

  219. little bit more, all right, Okay, uh, look at this,

  220. we say, excuse proof, right, but you know it's it's a strange

  221. thing, but it happens to us as well. Sometimes we come to Jesus

  222. with our own answers. All right, Jesus asked, very directly, do

  223. you want to be healed? And then sometimes we come to him and we

  224. say, you know this, this this is We have our own answers to

  225. him. So just just just looking at that for a moment. Okay,

  226. now verse eight, verse eight, first next, next lightning. Okay,

  227. all right, then Jesus answers and Jesus. I love Jesus. He's direct.

  228. He gives it to us, all right, and I'm learning to be

  229. like him a bit more. Give it, give it straight, all right.

  230. Is Jesus said to him get up, Everyone say, get up,

  231. get up, okay, get up, take your bed and walk. That's

  232. his very direct instruction, all right. He doesn't say, oh, poor

  233. thing, poor thing, nobody help you. Huh, poor thing, nobody.

  234. You know, every time you go then someone goes first, poor thing.

  235. He doesn't go there, just get up, take your bid and walk.

  236. All right. Wow. I love that. And of course he is

  237. the son of God. He's able to do a miracle and heal. But

  238. actually the message in his words here, I'm more powerful, I'm more important.

  239. It's about get up, take your bed and walk. Now. I'm

  240. gonna tell you a little bit, uh, a bit of a story here,

  241. all right. I I you know, I I work in a school,

  242. all right, and I talked to young people and sometimes you know what

  243. I face is, um uh you know it's young young people, all right,

  244. Uh, some some young Some of the young people they love to uh

  245. be supportive to their friends. It's a good thing, right. For example,

  246. if they bring something illegal and then they support their friends. No,

  247. no, you didn't bring defending the friends. Okay, there's not that's not

  248. what that's happening. I'm just giving you an example, okay, all right.

  249. And so these kind of things like um uh supporting their friends. So

  250. recently talk to somebody and uh they were telling me, um, well,

  251. uh, there there are people in the school, you know. There they

  252. are discouraged, they're down, you know, they are feeling sad and they

  253. have the challenges and so but then then they are they are this supportive friends.

  254. Supportive friends. It's not a bad thing. Right. We love supportive

  255. friends. But what did what did they do? They support them and go

  256. like it's okay, right, don't worry if we understand you. Uh and

  257. and and uh you know. So so when they do like that, it's

  258. like encouraging them and say carry on, carry on this way, it's okay

  259. and so um and uh. You know, when I speak to them,

  260. I say, you know, actually, maybe maybe maybe people like this need

  261. a friend who can tell them something else. You know, I have friends

  262. who are you know, I just remember a friend of mine, right,

  263. Uh, maybe I've told this before. You know. One time I was

  264. standing around, you know, and with this friend of waiting, few few

  265. friends together, waiting for the lift, and uh, I you know,

  266. we see rubbish on the floor stay, you know, because there's a trash

  267. can there. And when the rubbish is outside of the trash can, it's

  268. pretty normal, isn't it. So I just left it there, I know,

  269. like it's like, okay, it's fine. I mean, someone's gonna

  270. put it in, or the people in charge you're going to clear it whatever.

  271. So we just stand and left it there. But this other friend comes

  272. picks up the rubbish throws it in the bin and I go like, I

  273. feel embarrassed, like because like, oh, okay, it wasn't me.

  274. And so I saw that and and and they said, wow, why did

  275. you do that? And said, who's gonna do it if you do if

  276. you don't do it right? And I feel like sometimes you need a friend

  277. like that who will do the right thing and not just be like everyone else.

  278. I had a friend once, or so, you know, I was.

  279. I was kind of like not a nice guy, laugh all right,

  280. I like to push people around and things like that. I'll bit bossy.

  281. And so everyone was gathering and everyone was talking about me behind my back.

  282. But then this one guy comes to me and calls me into the room,

  283. and I was he's bigger than me, you know, older than me.

  284. I was afraid. And then like, what's going on? And this guy

  285. tells me, you know a lot of people are gossiping about you and saying

  286. bad things about you, and I just want to tell you straight up front,

  287. you're being a very bossy person. I didn't like it. I hated

  288. it. I was so angry. I said, I'm never going to be

  289. friends with any of you anymore. I walked away. But but then as

  290. I thought about it, and as God, I guess, did his work

  291. in me. I actually appreciated that that someone actually told me what I needed

  292. to hear, not not so much what I want to feel. Right.

  293. He could have been like, hey, you're you're you're bossy, but it's

  294. okay, carry on. You know, everyone is different, it's okay,

  295. let's accept one another kind of thing. But that guy didn't do that.

  296. He said, like, you're being a bossy person. People don't like you,

  297. they're gossiping about you. Yeah, I just want to tell you that

  298. stunned. But you know, that spoke to me so clearly and so loudly,

  299. and that changed my life. It changed my life, all right.

  300. So I'm just saying, you know, rather than this guy's hanging around a

  301. multitude of invalids, right and probably they're all the same, and you go

  302. like, it's okay, it's okay, we're all the same. You like

  303. that, right, But then Jesus comes and says, stop it, man,

  304. get up, take up that bed, don't lie down anymore. It's

  305. been thirty eight years. You haven't got any healing. Get up, all

  306. right. And he's the one who heals. He's the one who heals a

  307. man. All right, hallelujah, praise God. So are you ready?

  308. Are you ready for the breakthrough? Asked your neighbor, are you are you

  309. ready for a breakthrough? Asked them? Are you sure? Because after this

  310. you got to work. After this, you got to serve. After he's

  311. got to wake up earlier. After this, after he's gonna pay a bit

  312. more money too, for your transport, for your clothes, for your new

  313. traditional clothes, after this, all right, after he's gonna talk to your

  314. children differently. All right, okay, hallelujah. But you know what,

  315. God is good, and with Jesus we can. With Jesus we can.

  316. All right, let's move on. Let's move on now. Uh yeah,

  317. well, okay, right verse nine. And at once the man was healed.

  318. Hallelujah. Jesus can do this. Only Jesus can heal immediately. And

  319. once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

  320. Now that day was the sabbath, all right, So he did that.

  321. And of course, you know, on the Sabbath in those days, there's

  322. this man made rule that you cannot do anything on the sabbath, including take

  323. up your bed. So that irked a lot of people, and they've got

  324. blinded by the healing. They didn't even look at the healing anymore. They

  325. just bothered about why is this men walking around and carrying the bid? Okay,

  326. So there are going to be people who will be against you, who

  327. who will go against what God is doing in your life, and that's all

  328. right, that's all right, okay, but let's continue to focus on Jesus.

  329. Let's focus on what God wants us to do. Now. Now,

  330. let me see, so Jesus truly heals. You see, I looked at

  331. it and I realized, Wow, you know that pool is actually like stagnant

  332. water or maybe yeah, I don't know how it works, but it's it's

  333. a pooler, all right. And it only works when there's some stirring,

  334. apparently by some angel. And that's rare, okay, and that that means

  335. only once in a while some people get some blessing. But you know,

  336. Jesus, he's not a stagnant pool of water. He is called the living

  337. water, all right. And we just read in the previous chapter. If

  338. you realize that previous chapter was the woman right at the well and Jesus says,

  339. I will give you living water. Amen. So who you want?

  340. You want a stagnant pool or do you want living water? All right?

  341. If you've been sitting there waiting at the stagnant pool thinking you're gonna get your

  342. miracle, your breakthrough, right, that's the wrong place. We need to

  343. look to the one who gives the living water. Who is Jesus. So

  344. let's remember come back to Jesus, all right. You know, even at

  345. period time here, I was just reminded. You know, sometimes you see

  346. the leaders coming up, and then the chapter and say, you know,

  347. come the leaders are here, and then looks a bit awkward sometimes and then

  348. everyone's like, who do I choose? Let's be like Netflix here, and

  349. who do I choose to come to pray? Hey, hello, you're not

  350. coming to anyone out here who is a human to pray. You're actually coming

  351. to Jesus. Come to Jesus first, So don't bother about the people here.

  352. Actually, you know what, when you come up to pray, just

  353. come up to pray, all right, And then leaders we go and pray.

  354. It's not that they're coming to you and choosing you because you are.

  355. You know, you look better or you're dressed up, your smell better,

  356. all right, or you pray better. It's you are there. You are

  357. here, standing here, you're serving, ready to pray, all right.

  358. But when you come up to pray, remember you're coming to Jesus, not

  359. a stagnant pool of water. You're coming to the living water to receive your

  360. breakthrough. And then and our leaders here are here to represent, to come

  361. and serve and pray. All right. So you just want to remind us

  362. when there's prayer time, all right, don't think about who is standing there.

  363. Even if there's no one standing here, you're coming up. You're saying

  364. come, and you want to come and pray. You come and pray,

  365. all right, and seek God because you're going through something, right, you're

  366. going through a challenge. Then let's seek God. Let's humble their hearts and

  367. come and seek God for it, and let's see a breakthrough happen. Amen.

  368. So um amen, So no statement pool. We're here for the living

  369. water Jesus. Amen. A right, Tell your tell your water blood,

  370. sorry, tell you tell your neighbor. I'm here for living water. Amen.

  371. All right. Now I'm gonna come to this place where I'm gonna call

  372. some children up here. We're gonna read, Okay, we're gonna read.

  373. We're gonna jump to verse eighteen. All right, it's it's not yeah,

  374. it's not. Yeah, it's not really. Oh okay, sorry miss one

  375. thing here right, look at verse fourteen for a while. Uh So the

  376. guy got healed, and there was some drama happening, all right with the

  377. Pharisees. They didn't like what's going on. But a long story shot is

  378. that when Jesus met the guy again, you know what he tells him,

  379. See you are well, Sit no more, that nothing worse may happen to

  380. you. You know I was telling you about Jesus loves to make disciples.

  381. He makes more disciples than anything. All right, same thing here when he

  382. meets the guy. You know what he does first, he makes disciples.

  383. He's like, say, stop sitting, sit no more, all right,

  384. because you're healed now, go and work. Stop lying around, right,

  385. go and do something. Sit no more, that nothing worse may happen to

  386. you. All right. So Jesus is always making disciples, and so let's

  387. let's follow his lead and also do like that. You know, when we

  388. speak to our children, we're making disciples of them. We're speaking into their

  389. lives, you know. Uh, you know, even when when coming to

  390. church. When coming to church, right, I know, you know things

  391. are not perfect yet, no expectation to make it all perfect yet. But

  392. you know, I was just imagining. You know. Uh. Sometimes you

  393. know, when I see my kids not behaving, sometimes the flesh right will

  394. say like stop it or whatever? Right, I just and and but then

  395. I you know, I'm inspired to what I want to do is now I

  396. want to speak to them instead. So just now, you know, I

  397. was praying with Matthews. I was you know that Azra was there, and

  398. you know, Asra, I speak to them and I say, hey,

  399. you know what you're you're you know, people are following you. You know,

  400. can you help me here? Uh? You know, what what are

  401. you here to do in church? I asked them? You know, I

  402. asked Azra that you know what you do here to do? In church?

  403. Uh? We're here to worship here, the Word here, the Word of

  404. God. Can we try and do that? All? Right? Because you

  405. know they're also distracted. They want to play this and then they want to

  406. eat something. Right, So I always go like, yeah, I know

  407. you can't you want to do that, But what you're here to do?

  408. What you're here to do. And so I want to encourage us parents,

  409. maybe even now you want to you can tell you your kids that you can

  410. say, what we're here to do. We hear the worship, right,

  411. we hear the worship. We here to hear the word of God. We

  412. hear to pray, we hear the honor God. So we can only try,

  413. Lah can try. But what I'm saying is I want to encourage you.

  414. You can make disciples of your children. Okay, fine, all right,

  415. they're just still all right there. Okay, so beat my bit step

  416. by step. Let's do that. Let's speak to them and and you know,

  417. sibviously it starts in the car, say hey kids, what we're here

  418. to do. We're going to church right now, what we're doing there?

  419. And then uh maybe someone like oh they will play my friends and say okay

  420. maybe later play friends later. All right, there's a place for that.

  421. And uh just now you know, uh, you know, someone gave Ezra

  422. candy. It's fine, thank you, very thankful. You know, friends

  423. are who are very kind, and so you say, can I eat it

  424. now? I said later It's okay. It's delay, help them delay,

  425. help them to learn, you know, say it's fine, say thank you

  426. to the friend. Give you a candy, but you eat later, eat

  427. later, all right. There's some toys, okay, Can we play later,

  428. all right, because there's a time for it. Not that we are

  429. totally denying them of fun and good things, right, they love fun,

  430. all right, But we can do that. Amen. I'm also doing,

  431. I'm learning, and I'm also trying. Okay, so let's do that together,

  432. all right? Now, children, children, all right, I'm gonna

  433. call some children. I don't know if I remember every child's name here,

  434. but help me out. Okay. So I need ten children here, all

  435. right who can read lie at least can read one right, and can bring

  436. a Bible. They need to take their parents' bible. Can also if they

  437. don't have their own copy. But okay, all right, okay, those

  438. who are on there, I won't call right, let me see. Let

  439. me say, I know matthis can read. So Matthius, Matthias, I

  461. audreem help me, I'm Audree. Hey. Why I'm doing this? Uh

  462. is I'm actually giving the opportunity to opportunity to our children to serve God this

  463. way by reading God's work right here. All right, I'm not simply doing

  464. anything, all right, so come, thank you for coming here, Thank

  465. you for serving all right, faith, I'll get you next time, okay,

  466. okay, all right? Logan ken logan? Logan? Okay, logan?

  467. And can you hear me? Logan? Okay? So it's a Shawn

  468. chapter five verse verse verse verse eighteen eighteen. Sorry correct eighteen? Uh so

  469. it's eighteen. Don't read until I give you a mik eighteen nineteen, twenty

  470. twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, two, twenty three, twenty

  479. one more. I just want to thank you, g You appreciate that,

  480. right, Gugu okay, no, I'm giving you all you know. So

  481. it's as rights eighteen or eighteen, then Maglee nineteen, then Anna's twenty,

  482. Mattis twenty one, then twenty two, twenty three, twenty four, twenty

  483. five, twenty six, Jews one, twenty seven, twenty twenty nine,

  484. It's very easy, twenty seven, twenty twenty, I'll help you. Ready

  485. a ready, ready, listen, Okay, let's do it. This made

  486. the Jews try harder to kill him. They said, first Jesus was breaking

  487. the law about the Sabbath day. Then he said that God is his own

  488. father. He is making himself equal to God. Man. Okay, so

  489. Jesus explained, I'll tell you the truth. The sent can do nothing by

  490. himself. He does only what he sees the father doing. Whatever the father

  491. gets, the son also gets. The father loves the sudden, and the

  492. father shows the sad all the things him he himself does. But the father,

  493. Father, Father will show the sudden greater things then this to do,

  494. then you will be You'll all be amazed. For as just the father gives

  495. life to those that he raises from the dead, so the son gives life

  496. to anyone he wants. Moreover, the father judges the son. Moreover,

  497. the father judges no one, but hasn't trusted all judgment to the son.

  498. They all may honor the son, just as they honor the father. Whoever

  499. does not honor the son, does not honor the father who sent him.

  500. Everly, Everly, I say unto you, he that heriff my word,

  501. and believe it on him that sent me had everlasting life and shall not come

  502. into condemnation, but is passed from dead into life. I tell you the

  503. truth. The time is coming, and it is already here. When we

  504. when the dead, when the Dad will hear the voice of the Son of

  505. God, and those who hear will have life. The Father has the power

  506. to give life, and he has given that same power to the son right

  507. and hath given him authority to execute judgment. Also because he's the son of

  508. men horrible. And for the hours coming in a way, while are in

  509. a great show here his voice and shall come forth. They had Data have

  510. done onto the resturrection of life, and Data have done ajo onto the restoration

  511. of the nation. Correct. Oh, thank you all right, all right,

  512. stay stay, stay, stay for a while. Children, thank you

  513. for stay reading. We stay for a while all right. Now, okay,

  514. so what we read just now is is UH talking about Jesus talking about

  515. Jesus. All right, Let's go back again to verse eighteen here, just

  516. to emphasize this. Jesus, he himself is talking. All right. He's

  517. equal with God. If you didn't know that, we should know this.

  518. He's equal with God. First nineteen. He does only what he sees the

  519. Father doing. He doesn't do his own thing, all right. He sees

  520. what the Father does, and he does the same thing. They are united.

  521. The Father loves him and shows him all the Father loves him, and

  522. he loves the Father, and he knows all things the Father does. He

  523. gives life. Jesus gives life. If you want life, come to Jesus.

  524. He gives life. Next. Amen. All right. He will judge,

  525. all right, He is the ultimate judge in the end. All right.

  526. So we want to we want to be on his good side. We

  527. want to be on his side because then he will we will get the good

  528. judgment. Amen. And then he is to be honored. Come on,

  529. we got to honor Jesus. Amen. All right. Let's not be dishonoring

  530. to Jesus. Whoever hears his word and believes as eternal life. Next,

  531. hear his word. So here his word, because you want to turn a

  532. life. Here his word, and believe. Those who hear his voice will

  533. live, all right, those who obey him will live. He has life

  534. in himself. Jesus has life in himself. That's a new word. I

  535. learned a city. All right, Go and do some research what it is

  536. as a word meaning that Jesus does not depend on anyone. Uh, And

  537. he does not. He does not need to rely on anyone, although all

  538. of us rely on him, all right. And life he has life through

  539. himself in him, in himself, all right, he does not need any

  540. help twenty seven twenty nine authority to execute judgment. He is the son of

  541. man, the son of man, meaning he is the Messiah. He is

  542. the savior that has been prophesite long ago, right since the Book of Daniel.

  543. The Book of Daniel mentions this is the son of man. He is

  544. the Messiah. And he's trying to say, I am that person. I

  545. am here, I am here to save a man. All right. Let's

  546. give a clap to our children. Yeah, what you have done, children

  547. is this is where you are worshiping God by surveying and by reading all right,

  548. you can go back to your seats right now. Thank you, well

  549. done. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
