  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your team. Have a rules through Us. Part one.

  3. All right, we're gonna focus on the Book of Exodus, chapter twelve.

  4. Um, okay, Exodus. I want to talk about um, one of

  5. the ten plagues, in fact, the final plague. All right, the

  6. tenth plague, which is the death of the first born. All right.

  7. Uh now, so I want to share with you a story about how how

  8. my friends, how I discovered my friends, uh, coming to know Jesus.

  9. They were not believers back then, and then I found out there you

  10. know a few of them, uh follow following Jesus now, and somehow they

  11. managed to find a way. And let me know why, because Okay,

  12. there was a friend. In fact, there were I can remember too too,

  13. all right, friends in secondary school. Okay, primary school, no,

  14. no, don't secondary school. I guess I took my walk with Jesus

  15. a bit more seriously and so but I was still a messed up guy.

  16. Lah. I think most teenagers are like kind of finding their way. I

  17. just yeah, right, and it's good. It's good. It's fine.

  18. God loves you, and continue to love God. So I was a teenager.

  19. I was a secondary school and I was just doing my best whatever I

  20. could. But I was like still sinful, you know, I was lying

  21. and whatever. All kinds of things are still going on. Although I thought

  22. it was, you know, okay, like I was doing okay, so

  23. but but you know, one thing I knew was that I loved God.

  24. I love God. I was not fully living for him yet, but I

  25. love him. I love him, and I love Jesus because of his what

  26. he's done for us, right, and I'm sure many of us, not

  27. all of us here, we love what Jesus has done for us, although

  28. sometimes it doesn't tell you, like, like right, what we're doing.

  29. Although we said we love Jesus, he's done so much worse. But like

  30. and then you ask yourself, what am I doing for Jesus? And sometimes

  31. it's quite disappointing. Our own answer is like, yeah, I'm not really

  32. doing much for Jesus. Okay. So but at that point, I did

  33. what I could. I did my best whatever I could at that age,

  34. and I went to church. You know, I was part of the youth

  35. that time. I was. I was in Quantan. Anyone from Quantan here,

  36. Quantan, Hey from contenta okay, all right, married the content okay,

  37. all right, So Quanta pahan okayta some people like Kanta okay anyway,

  38. Quanta. So I was from there and I was a young person there.

  39. I went to church there, and there was we had we had a youth

  40. group, and I did whatever I could, and I love Jesus. So

  41. whenever I go to school, I saw myself as I Christine, although I

  42. was lie, was all kinds of things, all right. I don't want

  43. some things I can't even say here, but anyway because children. Yeah,

  44. so I was doing all kinds of things all right, in inappropriate things.

  45. But yes, I saw myself as a person who loved Jesus, and I

  46. was a believer. I went to school, and I knew I had to

  47. make stands for Jesus in a way. I made whatever stands like good la

  48. right, at least at least acknowledging that I am a believer, acknowledging that

  49. I am a Christian, acknowledging that I do go to church. And that's

  50. where a lot of people going good and see they will see you Christian about

  51. what you act like this, It's it's a lifelong struggle, all right,

  52. so I had friends and the friends one one friend, I used to hang

  53. out with him a lot. Uh and uh, he you know, he

  54. was not a believer, but I hung out with him and every time there

  55. was a was some opportunity. Maybe it was him. I'm not sure how

  56. it works, but there will be a time where we can we will talk

  57. about God. And then when we talk about God, and then I will

  58. say, yeah, I believe in Jesus and just talk about whatever. I

  59. don't think I talk anything. Maybe it's a lot of the things I said

  60. was not accurate or so, but I just said whatever new I said,

  61. and I love Jesus. And okay, I didn't say I love Jesus,

  62. but I said, yeah, I believe in Jesus. And so they will

  63. ask and said they were questioned, and they were some debates. Can't remember

  64. the details of the debate. But then it will just go on and I

  65. wouldn't. I didn't really go into the part where I say, do you

  66. want to believe in Jesus? I don't. I didn't go into that.

  67. Uh. And then there was also another friend. So this one friend,

  68. I let's come see see Okay, see, then there's another friend. Let's

  69. come kay, because you know his name says kay. Uh and uh so

  70. this one. I was not very close to him, but in school,

  71. well see, I did go to his house and that's why we talked a

  72. lot, and that's why we went into debate and talked about God and stuff

  73. like that. But I never put out the question, do you want to

  74. follow? You want to come to church? I've never done that, really,

  75. although I maybe I should have on hindsight. So now kay, I

  76. only meet him in school, not close to him, but we do have

  77. debates or so we hell this and that. He'll question, you know,

  78. because he is not not a believer, and so he has his settled beliefs

  79. and he'll ask a questions and I can't answer them all. I gave some

  80. half past six answers part you know, part of the time, and I'll

  81. be like just whatever. You know, I'll be fighting with him, and

  82. it says struggling, and and at times I feel very tired. I don't

  83. want to talk to you, you know. But I still did whatever I

  84. could. I made my stands the way I understood it, you know,

  85. and uh, you know, this is like it's like the Five Loaves and

  86. two fish. I had right, I didn't have more, but I gave

  87. it anyway, And so God can use it. God can use the five

  88. loaves and two fish, even though you know you give half past six answers.

  89. You know, let's say your length, which you're not that strong,

  90. even though you don't really know so much the Bible, but you love Jesus.

  91. God can use it. God can use it. Come and tell your

  92. neighbor that God can use it. So don't don't don't wait until you become

  93. an expert. Of course, until now, I'm still not an explit.

  94. So how is God going to use me? Right? So, none and

  95. none of us here, I think, is an expert in Christianity until now?

  96. All right? Uh yeah? So so so God can use every level

  97. of your belief as long as there's faith, as long as you know they

  98. say right, and the Bible says faith like a mustard seed can move mountains.

  99. So don't look down on your faith in Jesus. You know, all

  100. you know. All you know is He died on the cross for you,

  101. rose again for now. That's all you know. Use that, use it

  102. some faith like a mustard seed, and you can move mountains. Amen.

  103. All you know is you've got a story about rain and God stopped it for

  104. me. Use it. That's all you have? Five those two fish,

  105. God can use it. Amen. Hallelujah. Come on, let's praise God

  106. for that. Hallelujah. Amen. Yes Lord, okay, so so kay.

  107. Another one, the baby baby ban never asked him to come to church,

  108. but he knew I was a believer, and so I think that maybe

  109. sparked curiosity within them and they started thinking. Maybe they started finding out.

  110. And then years down the road, years down the road, they went to

  111. university. I went a university, We did all the college things, and

  112. later on I found out for because firstly, this guy, see he's still

  113. keep in touch with me. He became a salesperson and he started selling cars.

  114. And he told me any any car salesperson here, Okay, any salesperson

  115. here selling stuffy no or yeah, because they're all busy Sunday working, busy

  116. selling stuff until now. Yeah, because he told me as a car salesperson,

  117. they say, you know, as a car sales person, I lie

  118. every day because the car is not that great. I gotta make it sound

  119. great, so I keep telling all the lies of what cars. So yeah,

  120. all you're buying expensive CAUs you think very great. The salesperson did a

  121. great job. The edward, thisman did a great job. Because cars just

  122. keep going worse, right, no matter how you maintaining it is like the

  123. scratchers keep coming and you go like, man, I want to polish this

  124. thing, and you're spending and spending. Come on, man, cars are

  125. liabilities. So anyway, he tells me every day, I gotta I gotta

  126. lie man. But then um and then after and he told me, you

  127. know what, I'm a Christian now, I'm a Christian now. From those

  128. days I met him in the house, we talked about God and Jesus and

  129. no da da and he never believed. And then now he tells me,

  130. you know what, I'm a Christian. Now he's married, you know,

  131. and and things like that. And but and that's why he told me,

  132. is it, you know, Jack, I cannot keep doing this job every

  133. day. I'm lying, all right, And he's convicted. But now,

  134. I mean that was those that was a few years back, and now he's

  135. doing different things. But he's believe. It goes to church, it brings

  136. his family to church. So what I want to say is, I don't

  137. think I want. I don't take credit for it, but I believe God

  138. used me at that point to just bring it up to him and let him

  139. be aware. There's someone called Jesus, all right, So do you see

  140. how God used it? Five loads and two fish. I didn't know much.

  141. I wasn't Bible school scholar. I was this kid sinning most of the

  142. time. But I still love Jesus and I shared it, and I gave

  143. it. I shared it, and God used it mightily and caused him.

  144. Now my friends see to a believer in k also one day I don't.

  145. I don't. I don't get in touch with with him anymore now, but

  146. at that time, for one time, for some reason, I exchanged some

  147. conversation with him, and then he says, hey, you know what,

  148. for some reason, they want to tell me that because they knew I was

  149. Christian, And say, you know what, Jack, I'm a believer now

  150. I go to church now, and it tells me the church that he goes

  151. to, and actually I'm a leader. So that I was like, WHOA.

  152. He didn't say, thanks to Mila, but thanks for sharing all these

  153. things up. But for I think for some reason, I wanted to tell

  154. me that maybe there was something there again the same story, like like you

  155. know, we see they came to know God. And then in university.

  156. One last story in university. Maybe I've said this before. This is guy

  157. he's like family was in the middle of university, his family came apart.

  158. He was so down. He was like lying on the floor. He's like,

  159. I don't know what he was crazy stuff. He was drawing everywhere on

  160. the tables, and I was I was his roommate. I sorry, it

  161. was his housemaid. And so I saw his decline. He's going down,

  162. but through that challenge he started to and we were going to CF and m

  163. m U. I mean you see a people And okay, I was going

  164. to see MU. I was doing all kinds of weird things. They all

  165. still do weird things, as in like my life was still not in place.

  166. I was still sinning. I was part of the committee. I wasn't

  167. being an example really, I mean on hindsight, law right, And I

  168. wasn't doing I don't think I was pleasing God in a way the way I

  169. lived. But I still love Jesus. I did not forsake him. You

  170. know, I went to church whenever I could. I still you know,

  171. I tried to serve, but it wasn't perfect. Yet I still did not

  172. abandon, meaning I didn't say I didn't forsake my faith. I didn't say

  173. from now on, I'm not a believer. I still continue. And whenever

  174. people ask me, are you Christiana, I'll just see I am Christian?

  175. Yes, And the same question why you act like this always come back to

  176. me. And so this guy, I'll call him why he was so down

  177. and I was just ignoring him. I did notice his downness, but I

  178. didn't say much. I didn't encourage him. I should have. And so,

  179. but then one day he suddenly asked me Jack, how to become Christian?

  180. Like so random, all right, and I go like, uh,

  181. I didn't know the best answer. So I said, you google it.

  182. Like you google it, I wouldn't recommend it because it was bad. Why

  183. he googled and he found all guys of strange things he shouldn't be reading,

  184. and he started reading stuf like, oh, there's this group of people they

  185. do this day. They were believers, then they were abandoned and then't know,

  186. I don't believe anymore, and then they started a huddle to like comfort

  187. each other. I'm like no, I said, no, that's not what

  188. I supposed to search for, but that's what he counted shared me. Then

  189. I became a bit more like, okay, I better say something. And

  190. then that's not how you become Christian. So then I started to share as

  191. as best I could, how you know, at least you pray, you

  192. can, you can you know, believe in Jesus. And then I said,

  193. you know what, when you go to church with me the next time,

  194. when the pastor asked, raise your hand, raise your hand. At

  195. least at least that's the thing I can rely on. And said, okay,

  196. okay, okay, we see how Then a few you know, days

  197. past, weeks past, and then on that day we had this thing,

  198. this rally went to a church and then the pastor asked, anybody here you

  199. want to be a believer today, you want to follow Jesus. And he

  200. raised his hands, Salelujah. And then he became not only a believer,

  201. he became really like a strong believer, and he he was serving in his

  202. church and until now he's he's there, you know, he's still following Jesus.

  203. I praise God. Sold my five loaves and two fish that I gave

  204. you know in that way God used it. Amen, Hey man, praise

  205. God. So now I just wanted to share that with you. Why because

  206. now I want to get into the Bible. Okay, let's read the Bible,

  207. all right, Oh okay, all right, okay, so children,

  208. you can draw the pictures. Hey, all right, right, I'll just

  209. read that so that we can go through it. And I want you to

  210. pay attention to it, because this is the day we can read the Bible

  211. together. And it's a privilege, it's an honor to be able to read

  212. God's word together. So the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land

  213. of Egypt, this month shall be for you the beginning of months. It

  214. shall be the first month of the year. For you tell all the corpregation

  215. of Israel that on the tenth day all this month, every man shall take

  216. a land according to their father's houses, a lamb for a household. Stop

  217. there, all right, and no, no, okay, relax, okay.

  218. So a few things to note here. When God wanted to do this,

  219. he kind of pressed like a reset button and say it's gonna be like

  220. this is like the month shall be for you the beginning of months. It's

  221. like New Year. It's a New Year's celebration. When this happens. It's

  222. a New Year's celebration, all right, and it's a thing to party and

  223. celebrate. Okay. Then the next thing, in verse three, it says

  224. a lamb, a lamb for every household. Everyone say household. Okay.

  225. The other word is family. So God wants the family, wants the family.

  226. It's not each person. Take one lamb. It's not individual. You

  227. know your walk with God. It's not just individual. It is your family,

  228. So do we together. It is a lamb for the whole family,

  229. all right, So children as well, take note of that. It's not

  230. just one. It's not just your parents walk with God. It is your

  231. walk with God as well. Children, all right, no matter how young

  232. you are now. And then it says a lamb. Now let's move on.

  233. H next, next slide. You're drawn the lamb ready churn Okay,

  234. don't worry whatever. You draw it enough that you just write there lamb.

  235. Because I can't leave the pictures so long. I need to read this nineteen

  236. slides here, okay, all right? Next one little another lamb. Another

  237. lamb is a god. It is a gold lamb. Different, right,

  238. different from the other one. There one more free, this one more more

  239. active. On I think God's more active than sheep. Anyone knows that for

  240. sure? Yes, okay? Right? Verse four we read and if the

  241. household is too small for a lamb, then he and his nearest neighbor shall

  242. take according to the number of persons, according to what each can eat.

  243. You shall make your account for the lamb. So sell you your family is

  244. a bit smaller. Maybe maybe something happened to your family. Hey, God

  245. cares about you, all right. He doesn't want to leave you a load

  246. small family. You you joined with another family, you join with another family

  247. or right, so God emphasizes that he thinks about that. All right,

  248. So you can share small families. You can share with another small family,

  249. and you can make a bigger family. Right. Uh. And your lamb,

  250. let me see, Okay, your lamb shall be without blemish, a

  251. male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the

  252. goats, either one, all right, so, but it must be perfect

  253. without blemish. Let me see before I move on. Okay, we move

  254. on, We move on right next okay, but six kaah, you draw

  255. lamb ready? Goad? Yeah? Okay, okay, sorry, I didn't

  256. pause the goat there long enough, But can I use your imagination? All

  257. right? And for six and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day.

  258. Which day it was they supposed to have a lamb? Tenth? No,

  259. tenth, it wasn't. I can't remember. I read until I remember already.

  260. So it's the tenth day they got a lamb. And keep until when

  261. fourteenth day, right, h four days you actually keep the lamb alive,

  262. keep it alive with you. So for four days this lamb becomes your pet.

  263. And the lamb is so cute, right, so cute, and then

  264. you make the lamb sound so gentle, so oh, it touches your heart,

  265. right, and you got to keep the lamb, and it's like growing

  266. on you right now. Imagine that anyone here. Yeah, yeah, pets.

  267. You love your pets, don't you. You love your dog, you

  268. love your your hamster, your butt, the bird, Okay, right,

  269. you love them. But what happens until the fourding day of the month,

  270. when the whole assembly of the Congregation of Israel shall kill there are lambs at

  271. twilight. Then they shall take some of the blood and put it on the

  272. door two door posts, and the lintel of the houses in which they eat

  273. it. You know it's lintel. This strange doors a militia, we don't

  274. really have lintel. But lintel is the top part of the door, door

  275. post and the top out of the door, top part of the door,

  276. which is the lintel that the guy putting the brush on the that's the lintel.

  277. Right. So anyway, how you feel, you keep your lamp four

  278. days you love it's so cute, then now you've got to kill it.

  279. Sure emotional right, Sure, if you're not, then something you got low

  280. equel, low equ But most people with a normal eque you will feel something.

  281. When you're pet animal eyes, you are so sad you'll be crying.

  282. Right, So the same thing here. I'm sure. I'm sure God had

  283. a plan. He wanted you to feel something. So I want to encourage

  284. you. Hey, feel something. Come on, when it comes to Jesus,

  285. feel something. Jesus die on you for you on the cross. You've

  286. got to feel something. If you don't feel anything about Jesus going on across,

  287. watch the passion of the Christ and see what he kind of went through.

  288. Probably right, the suffering and the pain and the abuse he had to

  289. go through. Feel it, Feel it because it helps you to understand what

  290. you are believing, what you are following. Who are you following? Is

  291. not just some preacher dress up so well combed hair, perfect plastic surgurity face

  292. right, no, no, no, no, no, I'm not no

  293. none of us. Okay. But you know it's not some popular guy you're

  294. following, you know, celebrity. It is a person. It's a person

  295. who has gone through suffering for us. Ezra says his best, his favorite

  296. worship song. It's called Son of Suffering, Son of Suffering. A lovely

  297. song, right, I think by mad Redman. Good listen, son of

  298. Suffering? All right, so feel something? Right? Then? Then here

  299. they just put the you know, blood on the door post right in the

  300. houses in which they eat it. So you got to eat now, your

  301. pet, you just slotted, Okay, now move on. They shall eat

  302. okay, not a drawing. Then what's that roast? Lamb ROAs lamb whole

  303. rose lamb. Okay? Then all right, they shall eat the flesh that

  304. night roasted on the fire with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. They shall eat

  305. it. Do not eat any of it raw or boiled in water. But

  306. roasted, its head, with its legs and its inner parts all roasted.

  307. Okay, and you shall let none of it remain until the morning. Anything

  308. that remains until the morning, you shall burn. Now, Pausia, a

  309. few things here, all right. There's a specific way to eat it.

  310. Don't simply do your own style. Don't make your own recipe. This only

  311. this way. God commands it. Right, It's instruction. So the same

  312. thing with our lives. There's instruction that God gives to us. We've got

  313. to follow it. Otherwise we're doing our own thing. We're cooking it our

  314. own way, and say, oh worship, let me worship this my own

  315. whaler. Right, But what does God require of us? If God requires

  316. it, he expects it. Why, because anyone who does any other way

  317. is going to be left out. They're not going to survive this place.

  318. So the same thing for all of us. I hope this speaks to us.

  319. So now, and you shall not let it remain? Why? Okay?

  320. Now again, let me see her is the part that eat, do

  321. not eat? Meaning okay, none of it shall remain. Why, God

  322. wants you to finish it. Look at that, lamb. Can you finish

  323. that? Lamb? The whole family has to finish it. Lie, so

  324. better have some good eaters there, right, They've got to finish all of

  325. it and eat it or consume it all. What does this mean? You

  326. know, the land represents Jesus and Jesus, and God is saying, don't

  327. take just one part of Jesus. Don't just you know, accept a part

  328. of Jesus. But he wants you to take all of Jesus, everything of

  329. about Jesus. He wants you consume it all, take it all. Don't

  330. let anything remain. He wants us to take it all, the whole family,

  331. eat it all, amen and um, and says, you know,

  332. if if there's anything remaining, burn it, burn it. Don't let anything

  333. remain or be left over. Why he wants it all all right, And

  334. if you and I and if you can't eat it all, give it back

  335. to Jesus, give it back to God. Give it back to God,

  336. right, lift it all back to God as worship. And then the other

  337. thing I noticed about this is this God is you know, he's he's an

  338. organized guy. Right, he's organized, he's neat. He doesn't want a

  339. mess. You know. Remember there's a story in the New Testament when Jesus

  340. this is the resurrection, you know, when he was resurrected, he left

  341. the tomb. You know what the disciples found in there, a folded cloth.

  342. Jesus makes his bid. Anyone here, we still don't fold our blankets.

  343. Please, that's not the way Jesus would do it. So you got

  344. the you know, they just put the cover in here, right, say

  345. fine, all right, I'm so guilty. I don't form a blanket.

  346. But Jesus faulds his blankets because it's a neat organized guy. If he didn't

  347. filing, he's filing would have been perfect. All right. Anyone here,

  348. you have your problems filing students, her files, your your your digital files,

  349. your your computer desk. Stop how many of your desktop the the icons

  350. are every like, oh on the desktop there easy to find. All right,

  351. that's that's organized for you. But you know what I'm saying, God

  352. is organized. He's a neat guy. So let's follow his example too.

  353. And same thing here. Don't throw you know, in those days, if

  354. you have leftovers, uh, you know, there's there's no they don't have

  355. trash bins, and I don't think they have a trash system, so they

  356. have to get rid of the trash, otherwise it's gonna be rotting, you

  357. know, flies and maggots and stuff like that. We all are we taking

  358. for granted? We throw, we take the trash, throw in the bin,

  359. then leave it to the garbage guy to handle. Then they have to

  360. manage the trash, right, But in those days there's no trash system lack,

  361. they have to handle their trash. So the same thing here done really

  362. bones however, God saying, get rid of it so that there's there's no

  363. mess, all right, keep it neat? So anyway, Uh, did

  364. we talk about eleven around that? It's a picture of the rose lamp eleven

  365. bread? Hey, I was reminded of what MCO. Any one of you

  366. you ran out of bread like you know Gardinia and all this, and then

  367. you had to make your own chapati and nah, you're right, and I

  368. eat a lot of that during the MCO when they ran out of bread,

  369. y'all went through that right, ran out of bread, cyber, no problem.

  370. No, don't know why the community we ran out bread and we couldn't

  371. buy any bread or eggs, I think, and then we say, okay,

  372. let's just make a wooden uh or more families there. Yeah, and

  373. then you'll eat other things like you don't eat bread okay, okay Filipinos,

  374. or eat the rice? Did you run out of rice? Okay? Anyway,

  375. right, so this reminded me of you know, because stay home right

  376. you can not get out of the house. All right. Wow, I

  377. believe God gave us the MCO to experience this. It was close to it.

  378. It was close. Then you had to now take care of your family

  379. a bit more because you never really realized I had family, you know,

  380. or MCO. Oh my got wife, I got children, I got family.

  381. All right. Then they had to you know, lead them and guide

  382. them right and not quarrel with them. So anyway back to this, uh,

  383. move on, move on, okay, move on? Huh, thank

  384. you XTV. Right next, in this manner, you shall eat it with

  385. your belt fastened, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your

  386. hand, ready ready to go, okay, and you shall eat it in

  387. haste. Don't take your time, eat it quickly. It is the Lord's

  388. passed over. God is creating a feeling of urgency. All right, You're

  389. going somewhere. You're not remaining here anymore. You've been here for too long.

  390. You've been you know, been slaves for too long. I want you

  391. out. I want you free from this, all right, And so I'm

  392. serious enough to tell you get ready, pack up, cloth close up.

  393. Right. There's a dress code some of us here, all right, you

  394. come to church, all right, there's a dress code. There's a dress

  395. code, right, especially if you're serving, you'll say, dress up all

  396. right? Why it's for the Lord in this worship, because the same thing

  397. here, there's a dress quoder. If you didn't follow the dress quoder,

  398. you will be left out. You know that you will. The plaque will

  399. not the passover will not happen on your family, because the angel of death

  400. will strike the first one in your family. Just clothing, word, God,

  401. Why it's too serious. It's just clothing. But God takes things seriously,

  402. even clothing. Tell your neighbor that God takes fashioned seriously. Not a

  403. fashion. Dress code, dress code not not fashion. A fashion can be

  404. very subjective, okay, dress code. So you're dressing matters to God.

  405. So I was thinking, you know, I putemas ma. God takes me

  406. as I am. You know, God loves me as I am? Yes

  407. he does, lah, But he doesn't want you to remain as you are

  408. for too long, because that's why we say it is transformation. All right,

  409. hallelujah, Now the lords pass over, for I will pass through the

  410. land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the first born in

  411. the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and on all the gods

  412. of Egypt. I will execute judgments. I am the Lord. Hey man,

  413. Okay, we move on. Okay. The blood shall be assigned for

  414. you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood,

  415. I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you.

  416. When I strike the land of Egypt. This day shall be for you

  417. a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord

  418. throughout your generations. As a statute forever, you shall keep it as a

  419. feast. So many of you you're familiar with. That picture is from the

  420. pin the movie Prince of Egypt. I think they depicted the Angel of Death

  421. quite nice. Lah, did you know the Yeah, there's no form,

  422. yeah, just you know, scary. Yeah. So the Angel of the

  423. Lord will see the blood marked on the door posts and the lintel, and

  424. it will pass over. That's why it's called pass over. Right, But

  425. if the but if the the instructions will not not followed, then the disaster

  426. would have taken place in that family. Okay. And God is saying,

  427. you will do this again and again to remember this story and the same thing

  428. we do for communion. Why we do communion, why we meet every Sunday,

  429. We are reminding ourselves of the Lord, who he is and what he

  430. has done for us. Okay, So never get tired because God is in

  431. the business of reminding, and he wants us to remember, and he wants

  432. us to repeat. And you know, sometimes it feels like, what is

  433. this like nagging? Hey, we need it? How many of you you

  434. love your mom because she tells you again and again, hey, remember remember,

  435. remember to do this. Right. They remind you for good. They're

  436. not trying to give you a hot time. Right, They're not trying to

  437. be evil to you. It is for our good. And so that is

  438. okay. We move on a blood Okay. Now, so it's interesting here

  439. Verse fifteen seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, talking about eleven bread again.

  440. On the first day, you shall remove eleven out of your houses.

  441. For if anyone eats what is eleven oh, how many times when I say

  442. eleven and eleven okay, from the first day until the seventh day, that

  443. person shall be cut off from Israel. On the first day you shall hold

  444. a holy assembly, and on the seventh day a holy assembly. No work

  445. shall be done on those days. But whatever what everyone needs to eat,

  446. that alone may be prepared by you. Right, easy to draw out this

  447. one. The eleven bread, so curl only, okay, now unleven eleven

  448. right is repeated many times here I just found this out right. Why,

  449. I mean, the question is why why are we talking about this eleven and

  450. levener? I realize anyone of you you've made bread before yourself, then you

  451. have to have leven right the yeast. And in those days it's like I

  452. think, like sour dough bread, or we have this geezer and it goes

  453. in and remains, then it goes and it gets recycled again and again,

  454. like it produces new and so this this container is kept there for many,

  455. many, many minds. And actually the truth is all kinds of things can

  456. grow in it, and you can become bacteria, and it can become sickness

  457. as well. So this is what I understood from you know, people just

  458. studying why there's this thing about removing leabon, because just practically that thing can

  459. actually become corrupted. All right, Yeah, you make your bread and it's

  460. again again you're using the same container. He's never wash it, and so

  461. it can become you can rot and become germs and and actually become a you

  462. know, sickness. So God is actually trying to tell us get rid of

  463. that. Start a new start, a new start, a new one.

  464. All right, so that it's uh, you will cleanse yourself firstly physically of

  465. all these bacteria and sicknesses so you can be healthy and so of spiritually.

  466. You know, it signifies that get rid of the old, get rid of

  467. corruption in your life, and start new. Okay, this is very interesting.

  468. Why the procedure. First, get a lamb, kill it, put

  469. the blood, then eat it, and then when you get out, then

  470. you celebrate this thing and it's called the unleavened bread feast. How this works

  471. is like that when you when the lamb, when you sacrifice, there's a

  472. sacrifice of the lamb right and the blood right. It shows Jesus, Jesus

  473. dying on the cross, shed his blood to for the forgiveness of our sin.

  474. It starts with that first, Jesus first forgiveness, and then later it's

  475. then get rid of your corruption. It's the other way around. Sometimes we

  476. go, I want to get rid of my sin and get rid of my

  477. corruption first, then only I follow Jesus. But actually it's no follow Jesus.

  478. Let him get rid of the sin, let him get you know,

  479. sorry, let him give us forgiveness through the blood. And then because you

  480. have been clans and set free, now you live a righteous life. Please

  481. get rid of the corruption, which is the leaven in your life, and

  482. now start anew, start afresh, and live a life of righteousness according to

  483. his word. Amen. Are you getting something here? Amen? Hallelujah?

  484. All right? So are we now? All right? And it's His holy

  485. assembly and worshiped right that and worshiped. So once you know Jesus you've been

  486. clans, live a righteous life, and worship, not just worship, live

  487. your life right, that is, worshiped to God. When you choose to

  488. live right, you are giving worship to God. Amen. All right.

  489. You know many times some people will think and if we still think that way,

  490. we try to live our life right to get rid of you, know,

  491. so we can make it to heaven. We live all right, life

  492. right to be able to make it to heaven. No, you, when

  493. you receive Jesus, he has already given you a way to go to heaven.

  494. But now he wants to live right, live right and worship him all

  495. right. And when you live right, you're not trying to gain points to

  496. go to heaven. Okay. I know many of us can't we understand this,

  497. but even by myself, I get trapped into that. Sometimes I go

  498. like, I gotta live my life right now because I'm gonna make it to

  499. heaven. But that's not true. You are living your life right because God

  500. has made a way for you. God has set you free. That's why

  501. I want to serve him. I owe my life to him. That's the

  502. that's the idea of serving God and living right. I live right because I

  503. oh God, he has given me something, and I want to give him

  504. back by doing this. Amen. And that's why it's so important to feel

  505. something, because if you don't feel, you don't understand the suffering of Jesus.

  506. We don't fully get it. We don't fully get it. So that's

  507. why it's okay to watch passionate Christ, very violent blood. Okay, but

  508. older, last day, older, when you're older, a bitter well this

  509. smaller ones, maybe relaxay right anyway, move on, okay, we move

  510. on, eh. And you shall observe the feast of eleven bread again.

  511. Wow, For on this very day I brought your hosts out of the land

  512. of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as a statute

  513. forever. In the first month, from the fourth in day of the month,

  514. at evening, you shall eat eleven bread until the twenty first day of

  515. the month at evening. You see how many times is repeated, eleven and

  516. eleven eleven, eleven eat and leven bread. He's God is serious about this.

  517. Get rid of that corruption in our lives. Please get rid of it.

  518. That's that's his message to us, so many times repeated. It's like

  519. he's nagging at this point, reminding again and again and again. Why he

  520. knows how challenging it is for us. He knows how difficult it is for

  521. us to get rid of the corruption in our lives. So that's why he

  522. reminds us again and again. Amen. Okay, let's move on, right,

  523. oh, nearing the end out day again for seven days, no eleven

  524. is to be found in your houses. If anyone eats what is eleven,

  525. that person will be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is

  526. a sojournal or a native of the land. You shall eat nothing leven while.

  527. Do you see how many times is repeated. Everyone looked at your neighbors,

  528. say, don't eat what. Don't eat leven bread. Don't eat leven

  529. bread. You know what you know you're talking about. And it turns your

  530. other neighbor and said, get rid of the corruption in your life. Get

  531. rid of the corruption in your life. That's the message. If you didn't

  532. catch anything today, I hope this is the thing you get. Because I'm

  533. getting something. Here's eleven eleven, eleven again and again. Say it to

  534. us. Okay, okay, Lord, I get it, I get it.

  535. You shall eat nothing leven in all your dwelling places. You shall eat

  536. unleavened bread while eleven eleven eleven. Okay, right, move on, Oh

  537. poor lamb there? Okay, right, okay, kay. Then Moses called

  538. all the elders of Israel and say to them, go and select lambs for

  539. yourselves according to your clients and kill the pass of a lamb. It's time

  540. for it to do it. Take a bunch of hiss up and dip it

  541. in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the

  542. two door posts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you

  543. shall go out of the door of his house until the mornings. Stay indoors.

  544. MCO. It's like MCO. Okay, right, I'm glad we all

  545. had that experience. We understand this full well. To stay indoors otherwise you

  546. will get it. Yeah, thank god. Now we walk around here it

  547. sometimes you get it. COVID talking about COVID. But anyway, right,

  548. okay, yeah, so picture there. Hey, children, are you doing?

  549. Okay, you're drawing this? Very hard to draw this one. I

  550. know it's a very good at drawing. I'm sure we're not looking, so

  551. she will draw it. Maybe I should have got got in here to draw

  552. everything for me. Next round? Ohoh wow, willing? Okay, okay,

  553. all right, all right, okay, I'll move on. I'll move

  554. on. You see it. What's are you doing? Okay? Oh okay,

  555. right, okay, good good, all right, okay, for the

  556. lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians. And when he sees the blood

  557. on the lintel and the two door posts, the Lord will pass over the

  558. door and will not allow the Destroyer to enter your house to strike you.

  559. You shall observe this right as a statute for you and for your sons forever

  560. we we we've been, we've heard it already just now and now it's telling

  561. us again that this is important. That you will all have the blood of

  562. the Lamb as a mark on your life. You know, if you don't,

  563. if you don't want to meet, you know, the Destroyer, then

  564. make sure you have the blood of Jesus marked in your life. Right Like

  565. I said earlier, You know, I didn't live the best life, but

  566. at least didn't let go of Jesus. I still remain and say, you

  567. know, I believe in Jesus and I go to church, all right.

  568. I still make made my stand that way. So I want to encourage all

  569. of us. Don't forsake the mark of the Lamb, the blood of the

  570. Lamb in your life. A man. Keep holding on to that, a

  571. man. Okay, we move on, and when you come to the land,

  572. while all right, that the Lord will give you as he has promised

  573. you shall keep this service, keep doing it. And when your children say

  574. to you, what do you mean by this service? You know, young

  575. people, you know the next generation won't remember. A lot of people won't

  576. know in the first place what happened, right, and we need to share

  577. with them. And that's why God loves to repeat things, because he knows

  578. people will forget. If you read a book of Exodus in the beginning,

  579. you will notice. And the Pharaoh didn't know Joseph. Joseph did so much

  580. for Egypt, and the Pharaoh don't didn't know why they did not pass on

  581. the information. And the same thing here with us, here's for all of

  582. us. You want your next generation to love Jesus like you do, or

  583. more than you did. Please pass it on. Don't leave it to chance.

  584. Some of us I hear sometimes I hear, and I myself got into

  585. that before his faith. Let him be, Let him find his own faith.

  586. Sounds good, sounds like democracy, sounds like freedom. Let him find

  587. his own faith, his own journey, my faith, my faith. Hey,

  588. that's not the way God works, he says. When they ask,

  589. have an answer for them. When they asked, tell them what it is.

  590. Tell them your testimony, gos and tell your children, your grandchildren,

  591. how God save you from the rain. It's not just for yourself, It's

  592. not just for ourselves. It is for the next generation. And that's why

  593. I love it when our children I hear and listening to these stories. Right,

  594. it is not YouTube, it's not Netflix. Right, maybe they prefer

  595. all that, but no, I won't leave it to chance for you young

  596. people to make to guess your own faith. We will train, we will

  597. speak, and we will bring them up, training up up in the way

  598. of the Lord. Amen. So what do you mean by this service?

  599. Have an answer? The next one you shall say. It is the sacrifice

  600. of the Lord's passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of

  601. Israel in Egypt when he struck the Egyptians, but spared our houses. Tell

  602. the story, Tell the story, tells. Speak to our young people.

  603. Don't leave it to chance, because if you, if you left it to

  604. chance, there are many other people speaking into their lives. There are many

  605. other scary things around us trying to tell them that is truth. Right,

  606. There's there's only one truth, Amen, And we got to speak the truth

  607. to them. Did I finish reading? Okay? And the people bowed their

  608. heads and worshiped. Then the people of Israel went and did so as the

  609. Lord had commanded Moses and errands. So they did. They did everything that

  610. was told. Otherwise they would not survive the plague. They had to follow

  611. and do exactly. But you see the response here, they bowed their heads

  612. and worship. That is the that is the right response. When you hear

  613. the instruction of the Lord, and you hear the work of Jesus on the

  614. cross, and you hear his nagging to say, don't eat eleven bread,

  615. don't eat eleven bread. Don't eat eleven bread, it is not the response

  616. is not. God, stop it. I don't want to hear anymore.

  617. It's not. That's not the best response. Best response is what bow,

  618. bow our heads and worship him. Let's bow and worship him and say,

  619. thank you Lord for giving me your instructions. Amen, the pass over.

  620. Let's just reflect a little bit on the pass over quickly. There are specific

  621. instructions to follow, you know, the pass over, There were specific instructions

  622. to follow. What's the next thing. The door posts and an intel had

  623. to have the blood, the mark of the blood of Jesus or the land

  624. number three. The family needs to stay in the house. Right. There

  625. was instruction if you sell you when we're walking around, you know, and

  626. as children love to start, stay in the house, you know. Imagine

  627. that happened like look and the parents got outkare I finances, It's time to

  628. go out. Cooped up in the house so long? Come on, man,

  629. I don't think they had big houses then, and so come on,

  630. man, let him run. A bit of Angel of death comes. Sorry,

  631. man, you did not follow. So children had to follow, no

  632. matter how they are, no matter what kind of you know, activeness they

  633. had. Our boringness they had. Children had to follow as well, and

  634. parents had to say, no, you're stay in or you're gonna die,

  635. all right, right you are you? You made her die? Bite the

  636. oldest in the family. And they ate specific food in specific ways. Remember

  637. the clothing, the dress up you eat. It had to eat faster anyone,

  638. I think anyone ate slower. Didn't make it something oh my word,

  639. possible, it snow didn't make it. Still got a few bites. Every

  640. struggled with our kids. Come on, eat your dinner please, there's so

  641. much left there and stop running around up to the dinner. Table I eat.

  642. You know everywhere everyone wasn't so it's a specific way includes the dress.

  643. Okay, next moving on, Okay, I had this curious question. I

  644. teach Bible in school. Okay, very good question from one of our students.

  645. Victory of me again, if an Egyptian really wanted to be saved from

  646. the Angel of Death? Is that possible? Is it possible? So then

  647. as as they ask the question, I felt very challenged. I don't know

  648. the history. They don't have the time I would teach my boot. But

  649. you know what I learned the pressure. It's okay, you don't know all

  650. the answers, It's okay, right, nobody in the world was all the

  651. answers, so I just okay. I always say the person, I'll find

  652. out everything about it. But on the spot, I thought, when the

  653. question came to me that I had some answers and next, next line,

  654. next life for an addition Egyptian to be saved, I think it was possible.

  655. I think it was possible. Maybe some also probably were saved. But

  656. now that's gonna how they would need to know the specific instruction would need to

  657. know and how would they know they had to sit be able to sit together

  658. with the Israelites to hear. They had no whatsappon forward message to this guy,

  659. Hey, you better follow out, no you die. No, there

  660. was no technology like that. Then they had to be with them because she's

  661. hearing the strum. They would need to know second, or they had to

  662. have these close friends. And now with the Israelites put allow them into their

  663. house. Maybe hey, can I heard about this? Can I bring my

  664. meat and my first born to stay in your house for the night and eat

  665. whatever? Whatever they mean you're doing keeping them right? If they actually didn't

  666. follow that, although she was they were Egyptians, it's possible that they were

  667. saved, okay. Or number three, they would have to follow the instructions,

  668. including eat like them and follow the dress code. They must follow the

  669. dress code, right, they like to wear the Egyptian garment. Whatever I

  670. said, they know, go change change. I hear my extra Israeli clote

  671. for you. Read the belt. Bet the Sandals take the staff and be

  672. in this rael like and eat like us? All right? All right?

  673. And finally, it says only possible if they forsook the Egyptian pride and identity.

  674. You know, they were very proud of the Egyptians. It's great,

  675. you know, empire, it's so beautiful. You don't all the we called

  676. the decoration and these are slaves. Why would I follow a slave right telling

  677. me you gotta dress something like that, eat like that. One They probably

  678. didn't like quote I don't know. I don't know what they did, like

  679. lizards or one I don't I'm not sure. I'm not sure, or maybe

  680. veget dian. But anyway, they had to follow if they wanted to be

  681. saved, it was possible. But this was what they had, right.

  682. I don't know how any if any did, But the answer to this question,

  683. yeah, if they did this, yes, I believe they were saved.

  684. Now next one, final, final, last, How is it possible

  685. for people to be saved today? You know, there a lot of people

  686. around us kind of like Egyptians, live in your own lives, and they're

  687. you know, they're lost. So how do we how do we get them

  688. saved? How? We don't want them to to have the plates. We

  689. don't want them to suffer, you know, the plates that it's about to

  690. come in touch. It's coming, right, the day is coming, and

  691. we were just living our lives. They're just walking around, But don't we

  692. want them saved, you know, because we were blessed to be saved under

  693. the blood of the Lamb and being able to hear. Don't eat a leaven

  694. bread guys, right, But how about them? They're all around us the

  695. outside, okay, And that's why we do things like community, we do

  696. missions, we go and we wanted to share. Right now, give you,

  697. give you the answers here. How's it possible for someone to be saved?

  698. One? They will need to be able to hear the specific instructions,

  699. just like the Egyptians. So they need to be near near God's house,

  700. near God's people to be able to hear the gospel, just like how my

  701. friends see and care and why they were one with them? Was my housement

  702. near enough with me? My schoolmates right, one I spent more time in

  703. a house with I always went to his house, and one I only spent

  704. time in school. But they were close enough, near enough to me to

  705. be able to hear something. I didn't tell them food the full instructions,

  706. but I told them something and it led to them being able to find out,

  707. discover, and receive Jesus Christ as their lord. Praise God and any

  708. of you. I'm sure you're thinking of your French m you are, you're

  709. You're there. They're there with you. I'm not there with them. You're

  710. there with them. I'm not there. I would love to go appreach your

  711. friends, but that's a far stretch. But you are there. And that's

  712. why small groups so important. Whatever you're doing that, you know, anything,

  713. that's faith so important. Right, family members, you're there. I

  714. know it's not easy, family, but that's that's that's your mission, that's

  715. your purpose. Amen one place, Okay, in schools, schools, schools,

  716. schools, you're there. They're there with you, all right. You

  717. don't have to do things that get you jail. You know you don't have

  718. to. But what you can do, you do. You will five those

  719. two fish. What you can share with them, share what you can say.

  720. You can make you stand, You make you stand. Right, don't

  721. go to jail. Because you go jail, then you're not there unless God

  722. wants you to preach to the jail people. Okay, supple, simply go

  723. to jail right now. One. They will need to be inside the protection

  724. of the blood of the Lamb, you know him as Jesus, the house

  725. of God. They need to be in the house of God. This is

  726. the house of God. At least come let them. Like I said to

  727. my friend, hey, when you go to church, raise your hand out

  728. and then you will bele to receive Jesus. It's opportunity for them, So

  729. get them, you know, into the house of God. It's most space

  730. here, there's seats here. Bring them and bring them, invite them.

  731. If not, they at least need to be in the house of godly people.

  732. Meaning hey, that's why we are homeless. It's in your house.

  733. Bring them there and doesn't You don't have to wait for church and homes.

  734. When you invite your friends to your house, we'll just play gives you.

  735. We're just do strange things with them. But if there's an opportunity to speak

  736. and share, you don't talk about God, you leave his debate, do

  737. it, share testimony. I'm sure God will teach you the way to do

  738. it right. It doesn't have to be awkward. But if you're willing,

  739. you want to your desire, it can happen. It will happen right.

  740. Finally, they will need to work out their salvation for sick old just like

  741. Egyptians would have to right deny the Egyptian, Egyptianity, Egyptian less right,

  742. and live the new life according to God's word. Save with us. We

  743. have to let go of the old right and live and stop eating levered bread.

  744. It started new according to God's word and his spirit. So that's how

  745. he had saved can be saved. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
