You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. God's big picture is the title, and our
-
theme is still Heaven rules. Amen, Heaven rules. And there is the
-
line that goes towards the finishing line. So it's not just Heaven rules.
-
It is for to go towards the finishing line. And do we understand what
-
is the finishing line? By now? Okay? I think we've been talking
-
about that in a few of our messages, but let me just make it
-
clear again. The finishing line is just this, all right. We are
-
waiting for the return of Jesus Christ. Amen. Okay, we see the
-
signs right, those of you you know, you know you've been reading some
-
of your Bible. You know that wars and rumors of wars, that's a
-
sign. That's a sign of the return of Jesus Christ to come and to
-
rule over this earth and to judge the earth. So that's one of the
-
signs. And then sicknesses pastilence, right, right, do you remember the
-
m CEO remember COVID Right, of course, it feels like it's gone now
-
still around, right, And then there's so many other this I've been hearing
-
HFMD. You know, our church will be covered you know, and not
-
be attacked by these diseases HFMD, different flu and things like that. So
-
these are signs of the return of Jesus Christ, right, Uh, and
-
uh, we we are going towards that. And it does say, you
-
know also in scripture that we will need to preach the gospel to prepare for
-
the return of Christ. Amen and our church. We have this overarching vision
-
that we look at, you know, and it comes from Habakok two fought
-
in all right, that talks about uh, that the earth will be filled
-
with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the seas.
-
All right. So that is the finishing line that we want to go towards
-
that the knowledge of the glory of God uh is known throughout all the earth
-
as the waters cover the sea. And so that's why we say, you
-
know, heaven rules, meaning it's gonna happen anyway. It's happening anyway,
-
regardless whether you are trying you're you're trying to stop it or not. You
-
know, I had a weird thought, you know, that time when we
-
had a training, you know, Uh, the there's this leader's training.
-
And then Pasicanna shad the scripture saying, you know that the end will come,
-
which is you know Jesus will return when uh, the Gospel is preached
-
throughout all all everyone say ah. And then so this hicky thought came into
-
my mind and go like, oh, then can I stop it? Can
-
I not preach so that it won't you know, the end won't come,
-
so I can enjoy my earthly life a little bit more? Right, So,
-
and then and then you know, I felt, you know, a
-
rebuke saying you can't stop me. You can't stop me? What who think
-
you are? Okay, okay, okay, I better be in the plan
-
or you be left out right? So yeah, that convicted me. And
-
so the preaching of the good News is going to happen anyway. If we
-
don't do it, someone else is going to do it. And so are
-
you going to be part of it or not? Or are you're going to
-
be part of the other side? Right? So I want to be part
-
of it. I want to be part of Team Jesus and preach the gospel.
-
And so we need to speak the good News of Christ. So that's
-
why we say Heaven rules because it's gonna happen any way. Amen, So
-
we want to go and finish the race together. Amen. Amen. All
-
right, So now let's go into some scripture here. I am focusing on
-
John eleven today. Here we go. If you have your Bibles, you
-
can open to it as well and check, you know, crosscheck with this
-
version that I have. Now, a certain man was ill, Lazarus of
-
Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. It was Mary who
-
anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair. Whose brother
-
Lazarus was ill? Hold on there, all right? This part talking about
-
Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, It hasn't happened yet. Yeah,
-
this part is just talking about Mary, who will be doing this I think
-
in the next chapters. So anyway, what we see here is Lazarus from
-
Bethany. Okay, it was sick, was ill? Okay, And then
-
there was a sisters Mary and Matha. We move on. So here we
-
go. So the sisters send to him saying, Lord, hear whom you
-
love is ill. So Jesus was very close to this family, right because
-
you know they were able to say, he whom you love is ill?
-
But when Jesus heard it, he said, this illness does not lead to
-
death. It is for the glory of God. Everyone say, glory of
-
God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it. Repulsitive
-
for a while. Right, Look, this is like a prayer. This
-
is like a prayer, right, Mary Matha the sisters send to him.
-
You know, it's like we're praying to Jesus, Lord, he whom you
-
care for here here, whom you love is sick, right Lord, My
-
child is sick, Lord God, my parent is sick. Whoever? All
-
right, and we need your healing because we know you can heal. Right.
-
Obviously they're trying to call Jesus to come and do his miracle. Right.
-
But you know this is this explains a little bit some of why our
-
you know, how God answers our prayer. Look, when Jesus heard it,
-
No, Jesus always hears, He always hears. Right, he heard
-
it, And what does he do. He says, this illness does not
-
lead to death. Right, he tells the truth. It is for the
-
glory of God. Amen. So next time you pray, next time you
-
pray, right, whatever it is. Looking for a job, you got
-
trouble. You normally pray when you got trouble, right, normally that all
-
right? You can also pray when you have no trouble. But it's fine,
-
right, it's fine. I think God knows that we pray when we
-
have trouble. We say something is wrong, something is sick, something is
-
not working all right, and we pray. And you know what God's answer
-
is, Yeah, if we look at this, it does not lead to
-
death, it does not lead to destruction. It is for the glory of
-
God. So when we have trouble, when we're going through stuff, it
-
is for the glory of God. So if you can see that way,
-
then we know. Okay, so so bad, what I'm going through is
-
for God's glory. Amen. Now let's move on. Okay, so let's
-
look at this. Now this gets more interesting. Okay. Now, Jesus
-
loved Martha and her sister Mary, and Lazarus. He loved them all three.
-
He didn't love just Wana, he loved all three, all of them.
-
So when he heard that Leisures was ill, what did he do?
-
He stayed two days longer in the place where he was. Now this also
-
explains a little bit more how God responds to some of our prayers. He
-
heard, right, that's good, Jesus always hears. But then what does
-
he do? First he says he loved, right, and you know,
-
because he loved, and because he loved, he stayed two days longer.
-
This is not the thing we expect, uh, right, Like, come
-
on, God, immediate, mediate healing, right now, that's what we
-
need. But because he loved, he stayed two days longer. In other
-
words, you can say, because he loved, he delayed. He delayed
-
something, right, And then we go like, God, why I need
-
this? Now? I'm sick. Now I need to be healed. Now
-
you know someone's dying. I need resurrection now, you know whatever it is.
-
I don't have a job. I need my job now, right,
-
I mean, that's what we expect. But then because he loved, he
-
stayed two days longer. I'm not saying God, it's always going to do
-
that. I'm not saying it's up to him how he's doing it. But
-
if you are experiencing delay, if you're experiencing two days longer or three maybe,
-
then then remember this, he loves you. He loves you, maybe
-
he loves you more. Now that's why there's more delay No, I'm just
-
kidding. Okay, Okay, I don't want to top on behalf of God,
-
but I'm just saying, looking at the scripture here, because he loved
-
he stayed two days longer. Okay. I think it opens our It opens
-
us to a bit of how God functions. He has a bigger picture for
-
this case. Why he had to delay. I fast forward a little bit.
-
Lesarus had to die, Lesrus had to die. There was a plan.
-
Jesus had to do the resurrection miracle. So he waited and made sure
-
Lesrus was really did, really really did. Yeah, okay, so you
-
know what half did, he was full right, so that he can do
-
the full miracle a man. So we see the big picture anyone here.
-
You you're going through delay. Huh. Okay. God wants to wants you
-
to go through the full experience. Then he can do the full miracle a
-
man know, half big stuff. Amen, that's that's how God. Hallelujah.
-
Okay, move on. Yeah. Then after this, he said to
-
the disciples, let us go to Julia again. The disciples said to him,
-
Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are
-
you going there again? So the story is that previous chapter. You know,
-
he was claiming to be gone, and so the authorities wanted to stone
-
him, and so they actually escaped it because not time yet. It's not
-
time yet. Hey, not because Jesus was afraid. It's not time yet.
-
He has a plan, right, He didn't run because he was coward.
-
He was he had a plan. Say, hey, it's not time,
-
let me let's go. Let's not get stolen today. Wow, he's
-
in control. He's in control. Okay, if they wanted a stony,
-
they would have stolen him. Right, but he's in controls right, pause,
-
let's go. It's not time yet. I won't let this happen,
-
you know. So okay, it'd be a drama, okay, but anyway,
-
So, but of course his friends, you know, his disciples,
-
were afraid, Hey, why are you going back there? They want to
-
kill you, you know, they want to stone you. But but okay,
-
then what's jesus response next? Light First? All right, First,
-
Jesus wants to go. He is not afraid. He lives by faith and
-
not by fear, all right, like I said earlier, not by fear,
-
by faith. I want us to all catch this. I want us
-
to follow our Lord Jesus, follow our Lord jesus Us. Just now,
-
Christine came up, gave us a list of requirements, told us you've got
-
to dress up if you're going to sign up. So I was going,
-
like, uh, have to buy I thought, I thought the church going
-
to sponsor. I thought the church has a lot of money to buy uniforms
-
for us. Hey know, man, we go buy everyone, let's contribute,
-
let's pay the price together. There is money, but the money goes
-
for other things, right that. You know the team will plan for all
-
right, But it's not to buy uniforms for us. Okay. I think
-
we can all save up, save up and get don't go and buy so
-
expensive all right? Affordable one is okay? All right? So please sign
-
up for host all right, okay, because it will change your life.
-
Man, Why first you would dress up differently? All right? The church?
-
Uh? And you will, you will get into h you know,
-
the team's a little bit more. Uh, sign up for Extreme. I
-
will tell you so extreme God dress code or so dress code and so okay.
-
So that's why we dress up and we we play okay. Uh.
-
We we want to give our best, we want to have and we call
-
it Sunday best all right, and so uh, hey, you know what
-
you will love. You will love dressing up. You'll be like, why
-
did I dress up long ago? You know why did I serve long ago?
-
Because now I can actually put on a suit. Right. Uh,
-
you don't have to wait to serve money. Put on a suit, lin,
-
Actually you can. You can put on a suit. Please do,
-
please put on a suit and come to church anytime, any time. Okay.
-
I heard this fashion tip before. Better to overdressed than underdress, Better
-
to over dress and dress. Why because when you see Sunday, everybody's underdress.
-
I take off my jacket. That's all right. When you're underdressed,
-
you can't. You don't have a jacket to put on. Right, So
-
fashion tip anyway, I shouldn't they better to overdress than under dress because you
-
can actually remove the over in the middle somewhere okay, right, I won't
-
tell you where I got it. Dip from its okay anyway? Where we
-
know faith live by faith, not by fear. Don't be afraid, okay,
-
to serve. Don't be afraid to go for missions. Don't be afraid.
-
You know when someone asks you aid, can you help with this?
-
Don't be afraid, all right, because Jesus was not afraid. And if
-
we are following a lot, we do what he does, and then okay,
-
we move on. So Jesus answered, are there not twelve hours in
-
the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble,
-
because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks in the
-
night, he stumbles because the light is not in him. Now, I
-
think we've heard this before in like a previous chapter. Jesus is talking about
-
time. He's talking about time out, not twelve hours in the day,
-
right, and he's talking about there is there. There's a time that God
-
has created for us to work. Right. Many of you you do your
-
you're talking about your earthly jobs, your jobs, you do it in the
-
daytime? Right. Some of you have what do you call it? Not
-
side hustle, I'm talking about ship chips, ships? Fine, all right,
-
but you have a set time to work, right. Nobody who works
-
twenty four hours a day, right except maybe doctors still no, okay,
-
okay, the young doctors. They have to stay you know, twenty four
-
forty eight hours something like that. Okay, But anyway, Jesus is saying
-
there is a time to work that God has already created, and if you're
-
talking about the spiritual aspect, there's also a limited time. And that's why
-
we're doing heaving rules towards the finishing line because time is short. Time is
-
short, time is limited, and we are here on earth because there's a
-
time God has given us to do something. But what are we doing?
-
Are we actually doing the stuff that God has given us to do? Or
-
are we distracted and lost our focus and doing other things instead? You know,
-
sometimes and it feels like, yeah, I think I'm doing something,
-
but I think it's good to reflect, think about it and go like,
-
what what does God want me to do? And am I doing it?
-
Because my time is limited? Let me explain a little bit more. Do
-
you know everything comes from God. Everything is a gift from God, including
-
our time. Time is very precious. I understand that, sometimes more precious
-
than money. Yeah, that's what my wife will tell me. Oh,
-
doctor, she is not here because and my kids in ex Quota Communing.
-
She was invited to preach there for two services, so she was there early
-
and then the kids wanted to follow her as missionaries. So okay, fine,
-
they go and yeah it's okila. So anyway, doctor Jill, my
-
wife tells me this to her, time is more precious than money because she
-
knows you have only twenty four hours a day. It's limited. You can't
-
earn more. You can't earn more time. You can earn more money,
-
right, but you can't earn more time. So I understand that as well.
-
Although like for a long time, never registered to Mela. I always
-
thought I had all the time in the world. Very chill, relax and
-
do whatever I like. Huh okay, So yeah, I had never fully
-
understood the concept of time is limited. I always wasted my time Okay,
-
still do sometimes now. But Jesus is trying to help us to understand time
-
is limit and God is the one who gave us our time. And so
-
you know, if you think about it, sometimes you know our flesh tries
-
to fight for our time. This is my time. WHOA all this time
-
belongs to me? Okay, I'll give some to God, right right?
-
Same thing we know, offering right, our offering out the money the job?
-
Where did it come from? If you really think your qualifications and your
-
skill is the one that got you the job alone, I tell you that's
-
a mistake. That's a mistake. It's actually from God. Can we all
-
acknowledge that God gave us our jobs. He gave us the opportunity to learn,
-
to get the skills. He gave us the opportunity to do whatever to
-
find a way to be able to obtain in this work, all right.
-
And so I think it's really good to be able to acknowledge that and go,
-
yes, God, thank you for the job that I have. You
-
know, when you do that, you also don't hate your job so much
-
because you know God gave you Although yes, nah, I know, I
-
know, Okay, I know many jobs are very difficult and suffering and all
-
this kind of stuff. But God allowed you to take up the job,
-
all right. If you want to change the job, pray, lah,
-
pray, pray God. This job doesn't feel very suitable, give you another
-
one, right, But God gave you the abilities the time that you know,
-
the job opportunities, and so you earn that money, and that money
-
is actually his, All of it is actually his. But you know what,
-
he's such a good and generous God. He doesn't ask us to give
-
it all to him. You know, he's a good parent. He's like
-
yeah, it's all mine. But you know I give it all to you.
-
I give it all to you. And you know then then of course
-
there's this thing, right, tides and offering, tides and offering, and
-
so it said ten percent. I say, okay, God, ten percent
-
belongs to you, right, it has minimum you can actually give to any
-
You don't have to give ten percent. No, do you know Rick Warren
-
gives ninety percent Rick Warren, I don't know, maybe more now, but
-
anyway, but I don't know what the last I heard it I read,
-
you know, I don't know where I read it from. So anyway,
-
he shouldn't be like publicly known, right, But anyway, Okay, he
-
didn't tell the amount now, but I just say, ninety percent is tson
-
offering for Rick Warren. Okay, he has enough LA to be able to
-
do ninety percent, right, But what I'm saying tis an offering doesn't have
-
to be ten percent. It can be more. If you have more,
-
give more, it's fine, okay, But anyway, go back to this
-
ten percent. Just like you know, during the Old Testament, God required
-
that you know, the offering be brought to the temple, right, and
-
so you know, the Levites. The priests receive it, and what do
-
they do with it? So some of it it gets burned right as an
-
offering, as an aroma to God. But you know the rest of it.
-
What happens. It's good meat, you know, good meat, good
-
great, good oil. God gives it back to the Levites. The Levites
-
get the wha, the good meat, the barbecue, all right, they
-
get because God knows. These guys. They don't have an inheritance, meaning
-
they don't get the land. They don't have a land, while the other
-
tribes get property in a sense, the Levites don't. So God takes care
-
of them. Amen. So you know what I'm saying here is God knows,
-
and you know, although everything belongs to him, he gives it all
-
back to us, just like how he gives it back to the Levites.
-
He gives it back to them and you enjoy it because he doesn't need it.
-
He doesn't need to eat the meat, right, but the Levites do,
-
so He cares for them. So the same thing with all of us.
-
Why he doesn't require more, you know ten percent, He doesn't say
-
give me all ninety percent, you take ten. He doesn't do that because
-
he knows you need it, it's okay, fine, you can have it,
-
right, But it's about remembering that it belongs to him. And that's
-
why we give a little ten percent or more to symbolize us that that we
-
we know it belongs to you Lord. Thank you amen. So I want
-
to go back now when we'll talk about we talk about money, but I'll
-
talk about time now. Twenty four hours, right, twenty four hours God
-
has given to us in a sense it kind of now we have control of
-
it. You want to sleep? How long is so? Can? Right?
-
You want to sleep less? You want to what you want to do
-
a job with it? You want to browse social media with it? Is
-
the time that you use? Right? You want to you know, you
-
want to spend time with your family. You can plan it. But you
-
know, actually, like if we think of time like tn O tides and
-
offering right ten percent ten percent of twenty four hours to Jesus, what is
-
that two point four hours? Tell you the truth? Passor Kenneth was the
-
one who mentioned this to us as a huddle, you know, our discipleship
-
groups early this year, and I remember that and he challenged, hey,
-
what if you'll give two point four hours you know, ten percent as tithes
-
and offering of time to the Lord. How much is that? Two point
-
four hours? What's point four hours? And myn okay, just give three
-
or two point five? Two point five? Ah, easier to calculate,
-
right, which is thirty minutes? Two hours and thirty minutes? What if
-
you gave that to God every day? Wow? You're like, oh man,
-
read Bible, so don't don't read two hours? All right? Pray
-
in the car, pray thirty seconds or one minute, two minutes? Okay,
-
how do you even you know, do two point four hours a day?
-
Okay, I'm not trying to be you know, I don't think we
-
should be calculative and start count counting. I've done two point two you know,
-
I've done two hours and thirty minutes today for Jesus. The rest of
-
it, I'm gonna do my stuff. Okay, I'm not saying that,
-
but just understand. Start praying now, just understanding that. Can you're in
-
church, Ah, you're giving your time to God. Hallelujah. You already
-
tie? All right? Okay, how about tomorrow, quota? How about
-
tomorrow? What are you gonna do two point four hours to the Lord?
-
Ah? So I'm just saying, I'm just challenging us here, right because
-
Jesus say is there's time. There's time to work. But what are we
-
doing with the time? Amen? So let's think about that? Right?
-
Yeah, I'm giving you some thoughts here. I mean, it could be
-
praying, it could be reading the Bible, it could be serving, it
-
could be connecting with someone. It's homes it's reading the Bible, all right,
-
it's it's it's serving, it's missions. You go for missions for two
-
days, twenty four hours, forty eight hours done, just saying okay,
-
no, don't okay, don't calculating gone, please, all right, but
-
but no, the concept all right, wonder if I gave ten percent of
-
my time to go? What would that look like? Right? Right?
-
Amen? Anyone you're doing that ready? Two four hours? Don't? Okay?
-
Right? Ok you you it's between you and the Lord. But I'm
-
sharing this with you, all right. Uh, it's for myself as well.
-
I'm speaking to myself. Reminder, okay that all the time actually belongs
-
to God. But can you can we at least just give some to him?
-
Give some to him, and you know what, he gives it all
-
back anyway. He gives it all back. When I you know, when
-
we went to the retreat, me and Jill, it was so fun.
-
We enjoyed ourselves and feel like serving God. Right, it was enjoyable,
-
Right, it was fun. And God is you know, telling us,
-
Yeah, this is my reward for you all right for serving me. So
-
praise God. He's always giving. Amen, So don't be afraid give to
-
him. He will give it back to you more more than you thought.
-
Amen. Hallelujah. Wow. Okay, I think we should wrap up soon.
-
I I will, you know, I will close soon, and then
-
I will do maybe like part two, Part two of this message. Okay,
-
where are we now? Next time is a gift from God. Amen.
-
Okay. Now, when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already
-
been in the tomb for four days. Wow, there will be a mathematic
-
stuff you're going on. Let me explain to you. Bethany was near Jerusalem,
-
about two miles off, and many of the Jews had come to Martha
-
and Mary to console them concerning their brother. Okay, I love this because
-
you know, at the retreat, I was still preparing and then in the
-
middle of the night I woke up and I got this this, this,
-
this this part here, okay, let me share with you. So,
-
so Jesus came. You see, he was not afraid, right, he's
-
not afraid. He comes from the place he's not afraid getting stoned. He
-
found Lazarus already dead for four days. How does this work? He waited
-
two days, four days, so he waited two days, so I'm thinking
-
the journey took about two days. So two days, two days, four
-
days, right, right, So that's why he's surely gone. Lazarus is
-
surely gone. And they says Bethany was near Jerusalem. This is very interesting,
-
right about two miles off, two miles off, Okay, I calculated
-
that. That's about forty five minutes walk. Forty five minutes walk, okay.
-
Jesus took two days. How many minutes is that? Okay? Now
-
mine forty eight hours? Okay around there, twenty four plus hours, all
-
right, okay, two miles forty five minutes, yeah, okay. And
-
many of the Jews that come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their
-
brother sounds like a very nice thing. Oh poor thing, your brother,
-
poor thing, you know, or you must be hurting. Oh, by
-
the way, where's Jesus? Where's this person? You know? So?
-
I thought he can he loved I thought he can heal people? Where is
-
he? Poor thing is? Okay, I'm here, I'm here for you.
-
Wow wow wow. Be careful who you listen to. Be careful who
-
you get consoled by. It sounds nice sometimes and you love it. Oh
-
someone's you know? Oh poor thing? Come let me, I'm with you.
-
I'm standing right here. Where's Jesus? How long you took to walk
-
there? Forty five minutes? Why? Because so near? Man? Okay,
-
So I comela since Sonia, I come. I you know, I
-
care, I give some compassion, right, I show my face. Sounds
-
like politicians? No no, no, not all and not all no no
-
no no, Lord Lord, forgive me. Okay, not all politicians are
-
bad, but you know, yeah, anyway, not just show face?
-
Hey, okay, Jesus comes and he faces a death threat, and he's
-
not afraid, and he comes and he walks the miles right, and he
-
arrives two days later, some more waited two days come two days later,
-
and then four days he comes and he he's not a convenient person. He
-
doesn't go by convenience. Right, it's not near. There only a kamna
-
or the hospital. So fine, want to go right now? Might let
-
the nearer ones go prayer service, Sorry for me, prayer service. After
-
travels from contact communing to excitement, jaya, can I nothing to boast?
-
All right? Those people traveled to Nilai and oh my god, the day
-
I went to preach at some money from my house to drive to so many
-
is one hour one hour drive one way and back in the other way.
-
Go like, man, this guy's every Sunday traveling there. Okay, anyway,
-
right, so well we now, okay, so Bethany was near,
-
that's why they came. I'm okay, I'm not trying to put them down.
-
No, no, this is very human. This is a very very
-
human. It's it's it's fleshly right, So okay, fine, and they
-
come. But I want to contrast this with where Jesus was. I think
-
according to research, I think it's not really mentioned the Bible, but he
-
was in a place called beth Bath bath rab Bah, bath Rabbah something like
-
that. So it is far away. So that's why it took you know
-
that the extra two days. And so I want to tell you, you
-
know, sometimes we we we we we rather take something convenient, and it
-
sounds comforting to me, and so I I love it. But you know,
-
Jesus actually will go the miles for us, the extra mile for us,
-
and then what happens come next. Jesus is better than a quick and
-
convenient comfort next one. Then we can wrap up soon already. So when
-
Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary
-
remained seated in the house. Martha said, to Jesus, Lord, if
-
you had been here, my brother would not have died. Okay, this
-
made me think of it. Firstly. Okay, at least Martha went right
-
that Jesus was coming. But you know, Mary stayed on, trying to
-
be like Jesus stayed on. Why she stayed on because friends were there,
-
so there's distractions. They were they were, they were there, so she
-
had to tend to them, like all my friends are here, you know,
-
So she didn't go, so she was focused on being in the house
-
there. And then you know, when Martha met Jesus, you know,
-
the first thing that comes out of her mouth is what they've been talking about.
-
It is what they've been talking about. What they've been discussing maybe what
-
they've been hearing from the friends. Lord, if you've only been here last
-
risk wouldn't have died. But that's not the truth, right, it's what's
-
been brewing in their minds. And let's be careful again with that. What
-
have we been talking about and thinking about and discussing about with some of this
-
comfort comforting friends who try to console you, supposedly, but whether they tell
-
the truth or not. And so the first time it comes out of your
-
mouth, let's watch it, right, you can check what comes out of
-
your mouth. God, if only you've been helping me, you know,
-
if only this, if only that, right, so it's quite hopeless.
-
And then we move on, Move on, right? Hey, God's delays
-
better than our delay? Why? Because Mary's delay was caused by distractions.
-
Jesus delay for the two days was caused by purpose. He had a purpose
-
to stay on. He wasn't distracted, He wasn't distracted and then busy then
-
delay. Oh sorry, that's the story caused you to diet. It wasn't
-
an accident. He had a purpose. But Mary's I don't think it was
-
as purposeful as Jesus are all right, So hey, check our own delays.
-
Are you delaying? Are you delaying making God wait for us? Are
-
you making God wait for us? Right? Speaking to myself as well?
-
Everyone doing okay, right, okay, I'm not specifically talking about anyone,
-
okay, So all right, let the Holy Spirit speak to us. Hallelujah.
-
All right, So we move on. But even now, I know
-
that whatever you ask from God, God will give you. Jesus said to
-
her, your brother will rise again. Martha said to him, I know
-
that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day. All right,
-
Jesus is trying to tell the truth, your brother will rise again.
-
And you know Martha had an idea of what it meant, but you know
-
she didn't understand what Jesus was saying. He meant, now, I'm gonna
-
make him rise again, but she thought, oh, you mean you talking
-
about the thing you're going to rise again in the future. Right, And
-
so we move on, We move on. So God's theology is better than
-
our theology, right, right, If we want to argue with God,
-
he is God. And so you know what theology right, understanding of God
-
theology means, the understanding of God. God understands God better than us.
-
Understanding God. So let's look at him. Now. Let's look to him
-
to understand God. And let's not make up our own conclusions of who God
-
is. Let's look to him to show us who he is. Amen,
-
and then let's see whether we're close with this. Right. Jesus said to
-
her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. Everyone say resurrection. I
-
am the Resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die,
-
yet shall he live? And everyone who lives and believes in me shall
-
never die. Do you believe this? Do you believe this? So this
-
is the point you know that Jesus had to make. He purposely waited for
-
Lezrus to die because he wanted to come and tell them this. I am
-
the Resurrection, and I'm going to prove it to you. Do you believe
-
it? We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on
