You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. The title listening, listen, We're gonna write
-
the title right now. The title of today's message is with Jesus, there
-
is no end. With Jesus, there is no end. It's the last
-
day of the new year. I know it's like, yeah, go en
-
one, but yeah, with Jesus there is no end. Okay. I
-
prepared this because, uh, Pastor Samuel, I said, hey, what
-
what are they studying? What is studying? You know? And then he
-
said, oh, we're studying what the end times? Studying what the end
-
times? You know. Whenever I hear that topic, I get a little
-
bit frightened because it's a challenging topic to teach. Right. Honestly, I
-
didn't go to Bible school, so all of the you know, all the
-
preaching on the Bible studies is self self, you know, study in a
-
sense holy spirit, you know, teaching me. I would say, but
-
right, he's saying, we've gotta he's teaching about the end times, and
-
so I look to Revelation. I try to get something to teach, you
-
know. But I prayed, most importantly, I prayed. It's great to
-
be able to pray. And the Holy Spirit will show us, and you
-
will tell us. And so I got this word. You know. Actually
-
you're going to talk about end times. But you know, with Jesus,
-
there's no end. With Jesus, there's no end. It's only new beginning.
-
Everyone say, new beginning. What looks looks like an end is actually
-
a starting of something new. Amen, let me show you why. Right.
-
Revelation, Chapter twenty one, Verse five. I read verse five to
-
a. Okay, should we get children to read? Yeah? Okay,
-
okay, parents, if you have your Bible, so somehow with you if
-
you can open up you know the verse there? Uh yeah, actually you
-
can use the screen as well. We we get some children now to read
-
for us five six, eight four verses only, okay, any volunteers,
-
children, volunteers. If not, we pig okay, volunteers, all right,
-
who anyone? Anyone? Okay? Come? Okay, hella, well,
-
don let's give it a lot. Clap Hey, we want four four
-
adi Okay, do you come anyone else? That side? And A say,
-
okay, come, I guess Ezra will come before hey numberfore, Hey,
-
come on, I've gotta countdown and someone's gonna come up ten nine eight.
-
Okay, Meggie, come Meggie, right, well done, Okay,
-
thank you for volunteering, okay. Versus five, six, seven eight,
-
Okay, the rest of us we look okay, I guess yeah, we'll
-
just read from the screen. Verse five. Come hell, and the new
-
one sitting on the trone said, look, I'm making everything new. And
-
then he said to me write this down, for what I tell you is
-
trustworthy and true. Thank you, Ella. So what does it say making
-
everything new? Okay, so addie? Verse six and he said also,
-
and he also said it is finished. I am the Alpha and the Marga,
-
the beginning and the end. To all who are thrust thirsty. I
-
will give free leaf from the springs of the water of life. Oh,
-
Buddie, thank you. And verse seven, all who is victorious will in
-
her in herrings on the blessings, and I will be there caught and they
-
will be my children. Man, thank you. And a sent Maggie for
-
the last one. But coward and believe the corrupt murders the emperor, all
-
those who practice craft I don't worshippers, and all liars. Their faith is
-
in their prairie for this is the second that whoa thank you, Maggie.
-
All right, you can go back to your seats. Okay. So see
-
these four versus. First one says Jesus says, right, I'm bringing I'm
-
making all things new, everything new. Right. So that's why we say
-
with Jesus there is no end when it When there's an end, it's the
-
new beginning. He makes all things new. But then actually the last verse
-
here, verse eight, uh, says what but cowards were very strong words
-
here, unbeliever us, the corrupt murderers. I pray none of us fall
-
into this category here, cowards. What cowards are? Cowards are those who
-
don't live by faith. Right. Opposite is of faith is fear. No
-
faith is fear because when you need to have faith, you're going to have
-
to do some some things that don't make sense. Like I said earlier,
-
all right, uh, And so I don't want to back off like I
-
don't want to know enough money rough time, you know, know enough energy.
-
Then that's the word cowards. It's it's a strong word. Unbelievers,
-
the corrupt murderers, the immoral right, those who practice witchcraft. Witch craft
-
I read before, I think in Book of Samuel rebellion. Rebellion is witchcraft,
-
right, and so if you are rebellious to whatever parents, rebellious you
-
know, to your leaders, rebellious to the word of God, that's witchcraft.
-
Be careful with that. I do worship ers and liars, what's their
-
faith? The fiery lake of burning sulfur is secondary. And so there is
-
an end without Jesus. Without Jesus, then that's the end. But with
-
Jesus, it's a new beginning. Amen, hallelujah. So let's not end
-
up into this category. Let's let's let's be people of faith who will follow
-
Jesus. All right, And now I want to show you some more why
-
with Jesus there is no end. Okay. Uh, Let's look at the
-
Book of John right now. Book of John. I will go through chapters
-
two to eleven, two to eleven. Don't worry, I won't read all
-
of it. Okay. I'm just gonna talk and I'm gonna make maybe do
-
a quiz and you you kind of tell me the answer. Okay, right,
-
we did someone this chapters right here, right? I share this with
-
x sks well speak of my mind, right uh? And Chan did basa
-
translation? Yeah, Okay, so here we go in chapter two. Let's
-
see what happened here? What's chapter two about? Jesus was inviteded to a
-
wedding right where it's open book like in see chapter two Cana All right,
-
children, tick part of so if you remember, Okay, this is a
-
Bible quiz. Okay, uh, Jesus was invited to a wedding in Cana
-
and so what happened there? What happened to the wine? What happened to
-
the wine? Finished? Finished? That's another word for end. And everyone's
-
looking at finish right, Sometimes we feel our life is finished. Okay,
-
there's an end. But what happened when Jesus's mom told him, hey,
-
do something? All right? Of course he said, it's not my time
-
yet. You know, even when when it's not his time yet, he
-
still does something. You know how amazing Jesus is. He's almost like,
-
don't bother me, but I'm just gonna do something anyway. All right,
-
Okay, your prayer like, oh lord man, this guys still praying these
-
prayers. But I'm gonna do something anyway. Jesus loves you. He's gonna
-
do something even if it bothers him. And I'm sure it doesn't bother him.
-
Huh, he's he will still bless us. Right, So what happened?
-
What? How? What he turned the water into wine? Right?
-
He turned water into wine? And was it lousy wine? Was it lousy
-
wine? It was rich wine. It was rich, it was expensive wine.
-
I would say it was the best wine. Right. It is mentioned
-
there right chapter two. When the person drank it, the master of the
-
ceremony is like, oh, you kept the best wine. Normally people keep
-
the lousy wine at the end because they give the first the good wine first,
-
and then run out. Then when you bring the back up right expired
-
wine. But but this one was the better wine, you know, miss
-
He already gave good wine, and then later the wine that came that Jesus
-
turned from water wine is even better. So I want to tell you again,
-
with Jesus there is no and there's no end. Why because he makes
-
new wine. He makes new wine. You feel like you know your life
-
is at the end. The wedding was was it was gonna be a bad
-
wedding, right? The party was bad, right because the guys maybe didn't
-
budget properly, didn't buy enough wine or whatever it is. I don't know
-
what the mistake was, but there was no more wine. But then Jesus
-
does a miracle for them and they had the best wedding ever. Amen.
-
So I want to prophesy that over your life as well. You know,
-
you look, it looks like an end. Something looks bad, the results
-
look bad. Whatever it is, when you'll bring it to Jesus, he's
-
going to turn water into wine. Amen. Now chapter two was that?
-
What's chapter Let me see, I'll go to chapter four. Okay. Chapter
-
four is this woman from Samaria? Okay, what was her problem? She?
-
Uh, you know, Jesus met her at well, she was ticking
-
water, right, and she was avoiding people. Why was that right?
-
She had a social problem. She didn't want to meet people, Okay,
-
and so she at the end Jesus talked to her saying, you know,
-
bring me your husband, right, he said, she's and she said no,
-
I don't you know, I don't have a husband. Why Because then
-
Jesus said, yeah, the person that you're living with is not your husband.
-
And he knew stuff about her, and that's what she was amazed.
-
Wow, this is the Messiah all right? But uh, what I'm trying
-
to say here is she has given up on relationships. She has given up
-
on love in that sense, right, anyone here you're giving up on love?
-
Don't raise her hand. They have a broken heart, all right,
-
I don't know what you went through, Okay, relationship, breakups, separation,
-
all right, maybe you've given up and you say stuff like men are
-
all the same, right, okay, giving up one girls, right,
-
whatever, you're given up one. But this, this woman has given up.
-
That's why she doesn't want to marry anymore. She's married many times,
-
right, Mary separate, marry, Mary separate, and then finally, let's
-
not even get married, let's just live together. That's what she's been doing.
-
And so Jesus knows that. And so she has given up, and
-
it looks like the end. But she meets Jesus at the well and he's
-
not supposed to talk to her, but he does, right, And so
-
with Jesus there is no and and so she gets, you know, pumped
-
with life again and she wants to now do what is right. Because then
-
she goes and calls tells everyone about the Messiah, and she calls them and
-
the whole group comes to meet Jesus. Right, And so she's filled with
-
hope again. And I believe, I mean it's not mentioned in the Bible,
-
but I believe she started to do what's right again, all right.
-
She I believe she's she stopped living with this guy, you know, without
-
getting married, and she, you know, she goes back to the word
-
of God. That's what I believe, because she you can hear the tone,
-
you can hear the sound. She's filled with hope. And she said,
-
I found the Messiah. Maybe she's given up on that as well.
-
It was like, oh, so bad the relationships whatever. And I don't
-
know whether there's still a God. Maybe there's someone here. I don't know
-
what you're thinking. But she now found a Messiah again. And she said,
-
now I believe there is God because I found a Messiah. And I'm
-
gonna call people, but to tell everyone. And so that's what and that's
-
how we save souls when we meet Jesus and when we are inspired by his
-
word and his wonder, you know, his miracle in our lives. Amen.
-
Now there was the next one about the woman. What's next? There's
-
this guy in chapter five, Chapter five, there was a pool what's the
-
name of the pool? Siloam right, there was this guy at the pool
-
of Siloam, he was sitting there. How many years was he there?
-
Children? How many years was this guy sitting at the pool of Siloam?
-
Seven? Right? How many? How many years? Thirty eight years?
-
Okay, we rounded up for you almost forty years, Okay, thirty eight
-
years. This guy was sitting there. What is he doing there? What
-
is he doing there? He's gotten used to his situation, He's gotten used
-
to his his you know, I don't know what his situation is. That
-
maybe his crippled, maybe he couldn't walk, but he's given himself that excuse
-
not to do anything, but to sit there for thirty eight years, all
-
right, And he claims, he says, oh, there's some healing there,
-
you know, in a pool. If only I get there, it's
-
just a few meters away, I think, all right, But he doesn't
-
even try anymore. Thirty eight years. You can't tell. Why would anyone
-
sit there for thirty eight years? Even if you waited. You know,
-
I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try. At least two
-
years you will reach there, right, But thirty eight years is this guy
-
just sitting there? Like yeah, they're always going before me, No one
-
helped me, poor me. Right, it's just excuses, complaints, grumbling,
-
he doesn't care anymore, given up. Sounds like the end. But
-
then Jesus comes and asks him, what are you doing here? Right?
-
He's asking do you want to be healed? You know? When Jesus asked
-
the question, he can't even answer it. He can't even answer it.
-
He doesn't even say yes or no. What's the answer to do you want
-
to be healed? Yes or no? Right? But if you say no,
-
kind of something wrong? Right? Of course you want to be healed,
-
Right, you have a problem. Of course you want to have financial
-
breakthrough. Of course you want to be healed. Of course you want to
-
get a good job. Of course you want to have good results. Right.
-
Nobody says I want to have bad results. I purposally want to have
-
bad results. Nobody wants that, right, And if anybody wants that,
-
something is not right. So this guy can't even answer the question. Jesus
-
asks, do you want to be healed? What does he say? He
-
says, ah, you know, every time the water gets thered, I
-
can't go it. He said. The answer to do you want to get
-
healed? It doesn't make sense, right, So but he explains, and
-
Jesus listens to him anyway, and Jesus says, get up and get up
-
and walk, right, Jesus instructs him, and so he, thank God,
-
he obeys Jesus. He gets up and he walks. That's a miracle.
-
That's a miracle happening, all right. Jesus made him able to walk.
-
And then he tells him go and sin no more, because you've been
-
sitting sitting here for thirty eight years. It's a sin. It's a sin
-
to sit around for thirty eight years. Tell your neighbor that it's a sin
-
to sit around for thirty eight years. Right, If any one of you,
-
you know, you're still sitting around, waiting around, not doing,
-
not moving all right, Jesus tells you get up and walk and sin no
-
more. All right, You got to move because the Holy Spirit always moves.
-
Hey, man, he moves all that. There's time. Of course,
-
he tells you to wait, but he doesn't tell you to wait for
-
thirty eight years. Okay, I don't know about relationship, right, I
-
like this girl wait for thirty eight years. Okay, maybe you tell you
-
wait for a few years. Two years, one year, six months.
-
God, but to it for thirty eight years. That doesn't doesn't make much
-
sense. So okay, so uh, Jesus says, get up and walk.
-
It goes and now he can walk, and the end is no more.
-
It's a new beginning. This guy is a new life. So he
-
moves and so with Jesus there is no and Jesus there's no end. Amen,
-
harleelujah. Right there, We move on to chapter six. What is
-
it? They were a lot of hungry people, hungry people. There's at
-
least five thousand some some scholars say they didn't count the women for some reason.
-
Okay, not that women don't count, but at that time the cultures,
-
they just counted the men first because it's very hard to count, you
-
know, mathematics was very good at that time. So five count, five
-
thousand many enough? Really, then everythink, okay, we can include the
-
women. And it would have been a ten thousand and children, all right,
-
If at least there were five thousand children, maybe fifteen thousand people were
-
there, right, a lot of people there. So it was a very
-
difficult situation. Is a big project, right, big project? How many
-
of you have handled big projects? Big projects? Huh. I'm sure many
-
of you have, right, depends on some of you. The project looks
-
big, but to others it's like I have done that really, okay,
-
all right, and I have bigger projects. So there's a big project.
-
And Jesus looks at his disciples and say you feed them. Wow, okay.
-
And then to some of you, such a big project, you already
-
give up, right. And so there's a big project, a lot of
-
people hung. It looks like, you know, looks like hopelessness, looks
-
like the end. And what happens. Jesus tells them to sit down.
-
Tell the disciples, get them seated, right, And so they get him
-
seated. And there was this guy who you know, they found this boy
-
right at five loaves of bread and two fish. Okay, right, What
-
was this guy's name? What was this boy's name who had five loaves and
-
two fish? Huh, Gary Gerald, I can give him a name.
-
Actually has no name, He has no name. His name is not mentioned.
-
Jimmy, Okay, all right, So anyway we call him Jimmy and
-
actually has no name. But this guy brings five loaves and two fish right
-
to Jesus. Uh, And that's the best way to do it right,
-
Bring it to Jesus. What you have, you have little, bring it
-
to Jesus. Tell your neighbor, bring it to Jesus. Bring it to
-
Jesus, because he's gonna do a miracle for us. And so what does
-
he do? He multiplies the bread, right, he starts to distribute through
-
the disciples. They give, and then all of them will fed to their
-
hearts content. If you look in the Bible, you can see that to
-
their heart's content, to means, to their satisfaction. You know, it's
-
not half full, it's too full until there's too much left. That's how
-
Jesus works too much. He goes more, he goes abundance, he goes
-
generosity. All right, and some of us here we go like I don't
-
have enough. Yeah, I know the feeling is real. Towards the end
-
of the year, I felt like I don't have I didn't have enough.
-
Christmas is quite scary, right, I think all the gifts all you have
-
to buy and your Chinese, your Chinese Chinese news coming, yeah, yeah,
-
till February Chinese news coming. You eve ang pao money is literal money
-
in the packet giving like that, Okay, Christmas, you can still trick
-
a bit, buy things from shopping in bout right, it's like a right
-
and then and presents can look good, can look like expensive. But money
-
you cannot trick people. You know they can. You can trick them for
-
a while because the red packet looks nice. Then when they open its like,
-
huh. Some people put Bible Versus in there, and and and and
-
and they'll be like Christians will be okay, oh, thank god Bibles.
-
But the Chinese family, if you're like many got okay anyway, right,
-
so right, sometimes it is this is real, man, I feel it.
-
I feel it towards the end. And then you know, my family
-
loves holidays. Let's go for holidays. Sometimes I say, I actually love
-
to stay at home, just just stay at home, you know, ride
-
bicycle around the park, home cooked food, you know, things like that,
-
because I love to save money. Sound like sounds like the cowards just
-
kidding, all right, but you know, just being practical. Huh.
-
But then you know, by faith, we always try to go for the
-
holiday, all right, try to go for a break. And so the
-
money froze, you know, flows, and so it's towards the end and
-
then I feel, you know, sometimes afraid money. Where's the money?
-
All right? And you know God always comes true for us. God always
-
comes true us. You know. Uh tell a bit. You know,
-
we have a family member, we have an uncle. Uh. I've heard
-
of some stories in the true jailties not very friendly when it comes to Christians,
-
you know, but uh, this year he actually wished the family very
-
Christmas, y'all. And he sends one interesting video, you know, got
-
some songs non non Christian or non Christian version of Christmas, you know.
-
And I took the opportunity. I took the opportunity because the family members maybe
-
they they they've been trying to preach. But then I think through the years
-
they they don't know, so you know, they don't preach so outrightly.
-
But I took the opportunity, you know, I just heard Passica's message and
-
then I, you know, I used, you know, the verses from
-
Isaiah, and I said, you know, may you all experience and know
-
you know the true meaning of I can't remember the exact words of Christmas.
-
And I said, you know that you know God as yours as the wonderful
-
God counselor you know, Almighty God, Prince of peace in your life.
-
I preached out rightly in the message, in my Christmas message, and I
-
thought, like, you know, ah, I don't know, it's gonna
-
it's gonna, you know, ruffle some feathers. Some of the family members
-
may not be so happy to hear these words. But it was okay,
-
it was calm. There was no response. And then this the same uncle
-
blessed us with some money. Non believer, all right, blessed with somebody.
-
And I said, praise God. Wow, I thought I had nothing.
-
I had nothing left but praise God. He you know, even when
-
I preached out rightly in the chat group, he was still happy to bless
-
us. Well, I said, I told you this is price gott,
-
this is really blessing, all right, and it's really God's way of of
-
honoring us. So thank God, we have enough. Amen, and so
-
uh, I want to say with Jesus there is no and feeding five thousand,
-
our and so and so right, there's many more if we go on
-
until chapter eleven. There was the woman right caught in adultery chapter eight,
-
and she was going to die. There was you know, they were going
-
to stone her. And Jesus says, right, the first one who has
-
no sin, you can stone her, and they didn't, and he didn't.
-
He was the one with no sin, and he was the one who
-
had the right to stone her, but he didn't. And he says,
-
go and sin no more. Again, he releases her with Jesus. There's
-
no end. Right, she was gonna she was supposed to die, but
-
Jesus let her free. Jesus forgives her, and Jesus gives a new direction.
-
Go and sit no more, live a new life, Amen, hallelujah.
-
And then it was a blind man right got his side. And then
-
finally we have Lazarus who was dead. He was really dead, right,
-
they confirm, make sure he was dead for four days at least. But
-
Jesus brought him back to life. And so the end what looks like the
-
end, Jesus gives new life to Lazarus. Hallelujah. We hope you've been
-
