  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day if you've been around all right, and you've been

  3. hearing some of my sharing my preaching. Right, I've been on the Book

  4. of John, right, I've been on the Book of John, and I

  5. think as we stopped somewhere John thirteen, John chapter thirteen, and I was

  6. about to go on, you know and do more, you know, thirteen

  7. fourteen. But then you know, I've also as I've been you know,

  8. also doing my devotion, reading the Bible and in prayer. So I've been

  9. on the Book of Second Kings now, all right, and I just felt

  10. that to change it loud right, right. Sorry. I don't know many

  11. of you are thinking, I'm waiting for the John fourteen or whatever. Okay,

  12. sorry, I'm going to go to Second Kings today and not even chapter

  13. one, okay, Second Kings chapter five today, okay, So uh yeah,

  14. I don't allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us, and uh I

  15. think it's really just all falling into place, all right, all in line.

  16. Yesterday we had salt Salt is it stands for Saturday X leaders training,

  17. Okay, and we have our leaders there and we have our leaders in training

  18. who are not yet officially lead leaders. You know, we we try to

  19. identify if there's people who you know, potentially able to maybe lead the homes

  20. one day soon, or you know they're interested. Even if you're interested,

  21. you can come up to any of our leaders say I'm interested to lead one

  22. day and then we we we're good with that, and then we will tell

  23. you, okay, this is what we need to go through, okay,

  24. and then perhaps we might invite you to the salt as well. So salt

  25. we had that, and the the key words there was about being poor in

  26. spirit. Everyone said that poor in spirit? Right? Where do you find

  27. that in the Bible? Somewhere? All right? Wow? That chapter five

  28. ver was three okay, all right, yeah, it's it's it's what we

  29. also know as the Beatitudes, right, the beatitudes. And so the first

  30. line from Jesus is, uh, you know, blessed are the poor in

  31. spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God. Right, So we learned

  32. about poor in spirit and then long, I was a long, you know

  33. story, long, I know, not that long to training, don't scare

  34. you, all right, but it was a significant you know training. But

  35. the key thing that is about being humble, right, It's about humility,

  36. you know. And we were saying something on one thing you know, we

  37. were saying is that some people they're actually poor, but they are in denial.

  38. Yeah you all know anyone like that. Okay, don't don't say the

  39. names, all right, but you know, so for example, there's there's

  40. not enough money, and that's what credit cards are very popular. Right.

  41. They're in denial. They don't have the money. They want to spend money

  42. they don't have. So that's why. And nothing wrong with credit cards.

  43. I don't you know, I use credit cards too, but uh, many

  44. people and that's why there's so much debt and poverty because people are they don't

  45. know what they have and what they should be able to spend, and so

  46. they overspend. And uh so that's one way you know of people being in

  47. denial. But what we're saying is that, you know, being poor in

  48. spirit is about acknowledging and knowing where you're at. And uh, we are

  49. poor in spirit, but many times we don't acknowledge that. We don't acknowledge

  50. that we are poor in spirit, all right, And that's why a lot

  51. of people they will say things like I don't need God because I'm okay,

  52. And that's denial. That's someone in denial saying I don't need God. But

  53. every one of us needs God because he's the one who made us all right

  54. and we and he's the source. And that's why we say. You know,

  55. if you heard just now, one of the words that passa Sandra was

  56. saying, you know, we are like trees, and if we are we

  57. don't root into you know, the right place, which is God, then

  58. we will die. Right, So let's not be in denial but recognize that

  59. we need God and that we are poor in spirit. And that's and so

  60. that is the start of being humble. Humility is knowing, you know that

  61. we need God. So all right, let's go to Second King's chapter five

  62. right now, Okay, God's lesson on humility is what you know the title

  63. of today's message, God's lesson on humility That all means know, meaning if

  64. we want all to know, if we want people to know that there is

  65. a God, you know that God is true and real, it starts with

  66. humility. We need to be humble to acknowledge God. And so if we

  67. are able to model out what it really means to be humble, then people

  68. can see and follow. Right, that's what we're doing, right, we're

  69. making disciples. And so if we are not humbled, and we're telling telling

  70. people you need to be humble, you need to acknowledge God, you know

  71. your poor in spirit. But then they look at you like, but you're

  72. not acting like your poor in spirit, all right. You seem like you

  73. sound like you know it all and things like that. So humility is beginning.

  74. I mean, for today's message, we're going to talk about that.

  75. So let's look at a story of second kings which starts with this character called

  76. Name, and I think that's how you say it, y n Aimen,

  77. Amen or Nayman. Okay, we'll go with Name and today. So let's

  78. read the Bible, all right, or rather we start with this West start

  79. here, all right, says here he allows problems in your life. Okay,

  80. So let's read that. Okay. Nayman, commander of the army of

  81. the King of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high

  82. favor because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was a

  83. mighty man of valor. But he was a leper. Everyone say leper right.

  84. So he was a man, mighty man of valor, but he was

  85. a leper. He had a problem, okay, And I want to share

  86. with us here that through this story we learned that God actually allows us to

  87. have the problems in life. Everyone here, we're going through some different different

  88. problems right at your work, sometimes your family, sometimes with yourself, all

  89. right, and it is allowed. God allows it. Okay, when we're

  90. in heaven, maybe no more issues, more problems, all right. But

  91. right here on earth we're going through problems. Why because there's a reason for

  92. it, as a purpose that he allows us his problem. Just like Nayman,

  93. this guy, all right, who was really successful. I'm sure he's

  94. very proud of his achievements. He went into battle and he wins, and

  95. even though he is a leaper, you know, still mighty, you know.

  96. And apparently I was going to be a study this title here, Mighty

  97. Man of Valor. If you're familiar with some other characters in the Bible,

  98. someone like Gideon actually is given that as well, a mighty man of Valor.

  99. And I think David King David is also called that, So Nayman is

  100. also called that. But however, Nayman is not from Israel. He is

  101. from Syria, which who is an enemy of Israel? All right in the

  102. Bible. So but he is actually called that my mighty man of Valor.

  103. Okay, so he is a that's that's a good title all right for men.

  104. Right, men, you'd like to we call that mighty man of Valor?

  105. Right? Okay? Anyway, So, like I said, you know,

  106. I think he was quite proud, you know, of his achievement.

  107. He's he's high ranking, right commander of the army, all right, and

  108. uh defeated Israel, right and so but then he was a leper and he

  109. had a problem here. Uh so what is this God's lesson on humility?

  110. It's it It could be a problem facing a problem. If you're facing a

  111. problem, maybe God is trying to teach us something. So instead of weeping

  112. and whining about the problem, why, you know, ask God, what

  113. is that you want me to learn? And instead of running away from the

  114. problems, avoiding and maybe can avoid for a while, it's okay, just

  115. to breathe, just to calm down. It's okay, but you can't avoid

  116. it forever. You kind of run away from you know, you have a

  117. problem with your company, you want to quit. You have a problem with

  118. the church. You want to leave, You have a problem with leadership,

  119. you want to step down. Right, that's avoiding, isn't it. That's

  120. going away, trying to get away from the problem. But what is it?

  121. Maybe God is trying to teach us. All right. I want to

  122. encourage you stay on, stay on a little bit more, because maybe you

  123. will learn something. And maybe someone is learning something too. All Right,

  124. When we face a problem, I think it's both sides. When it's the

  125. only one side feeling it, the other person, my alo feel white,

  126. his person giving me issues. All right, I'm sure it takes two hands

  127. to clap, right, So maybe they you soon need to learn something.

  128. I mean, don't don't go in. I'm not saying now you're going to

  129. teach them a lesson, lie, right, But perhaps God is using this

  130. challenge to teach people something, and so let's learn. Let's see what God

  131. wants to teach us. So Naman a right leper. He has a problem,

  132. and leprosy is a horrible disease. Right, Laprosy is a horrible disease.

  133. I think you can lose body parts if you're not careful, and it's

  134. horrible and people may not want to go near you. So so maybe I'm

  135. guessing he may not have a lot of friends. Yeah, so this leprosy

  136. is not just the skin problem. It's causing him social challenges, emotional.

  137. I'm sure, all right, he's so supposed to be so style or you

  138. know, like, ah, you know, come under dressed up everything.

  139. Maybe I don't know, right, muscular maybe, But then people are like,

  140. oh, the guy's here, Okay, let's cool. Let's cool.

  141. You know, it's like he's he's yeah, maybe not many friends. I'm

  142. just trying to imagine. Okay, now, God, that's not humility problem.

  143. Next one, okay, says here he sends a godly person to you.

  144. Right, there's a little girl there right now, as wetarn Now,

  145. the Syrians, on one of their raids, had carried off a little girl

  146. from the land of Israel, and she worked in the service of Naeman's wife.

  147. She said to her mistress, would that my lord were with the prophet

  148. who is in Samaria, he would cure him of his leprosy. So,

  149. uh, as you can see here written here, the Syrians, all right,

  150. defeated Israel, and so you know it happens God allows defeat for us

  151. sometimes for a reason, right, So he's his own people Israel had to

  152. experience defeat, Okay. But and then what happened was there was there was

  153. a raid and there and a little girl was carried off. Imagine this.

  154. This is a bit like a kidnapped. So can you imagine all right,

  155. the parents now like my baby girl is taken away and they're all going through

  156. turmoil, like what is going on? They're probably questioning God, what's going

  157. on? Right? Uh? And so this girl was taken away. It's

  158. a very sad situation. But so but then you know, God is bigger,

  159. God is his ways are higher, right, he knows better and he

  160. has a plan for every one. So even this little girl was taken away

  161. and now brought to uh you know, the Naman's wife to work for her.

  162. Uh. And she what does she do? She said to this lady,

  163. right, there's this person, right, the master Nayman needs to go

  164. to this person that I know he knows God he can heal, you know,

  165. or rather he's God can heal. And how does she know how all

  166. these things? How does she know all these things? Right? It's not

  167. coincidence. She she she's trained. She has been trained by her family,

  168. by her community. She has seen things happens. She's a witness. She's

  169. sharing a testimony. Right, I know because I've seen it. I know.

  170. I you know, I've experienced something, or rather even if someone told

  171. me, I believe it. And this person can heal. So, and

  172. she's been kind even though she was kidnapped. She was so kind you know,

  173. to this person, say you know, if not right, you just

  174. keep quiet. Right, he let him suffer. But she's so kind,

  175. and she wants to help this master who kidnapped her and say, hey,

  176. go on, there's healing there, you know. So this is very amazing,

  177. even though her mom and dad maybe still crying, where is my daughter?

  178. You know, it's painful. A lot of things I don't know.

  179. Maybe some of us say, are going through something very difficult, and you

  180. still wonder why this is this story here? I mean encourages Mila that a

  181. lot of things we don't understand a lot of things we're going through. But

  182. God is in control, Amen, even something that looks like defeat, God

  183. is in control. Amen. Hallelujah. So what happens next? Thank you?

  184. Coy? Okay, this is interesting yeah, right, he sends you

  185. to a prophet. He sends you to a prophet. Let's read this.

  186. But when Elisha, the man of God, heard that the King of Israel

  187. had torn his clothes, he sent to the king saying, why have you

  188. torn your clothes? Let him come? Okay, I think I need to

  189. read a few more verses. That's not there, all right, Uh,

  190. let me get my so before that? All right? Yeah, so verse

  191. four, I'll read for my bible here so name, and if you can

  192. follow me. If you have your own bibles, you can open that as

  193. well. Open your bibles. Have you been opening your bibles? I know

  194. I always put the verse on the screen. Okay, let's open our bibles

  195. to second second Kings five, verse four, let's read the thing before this.

  196. So Naman went in and told his lord, which is the king?

  197. He went to the king. Okay, name is the commander. He went

  198. to the king. Thus, and so spoke the girl from the land of

  199. Israel. And the King of Syria said, go now, and I will

  200. send a letter to the King of Israel. All right. So he went,

  201. taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shackles of gold,

  202. and ten changes of clothing. Positive for a while. What does this mean?

  203. All these shackles and talents? Right? Apparently apparently according to something I

  204. read, it's today's money. Today's amount is like USD one point two million.

  205. He brought a lot of money. He brought a lot of stuff.

  206. He's like, I'm gonna bring a lot of stuff, all right, and

  207. I'm gonna use money to you know, pay this man of God, or

  208. rather you know, and get healing for my commander by payment. Okay,

  209. good money one point two million, okay. Anyway, So brought our money

  210. right verse six, right, And he brought the letter to the King of

  211. Israel, which read, when this letter reaches you know that I have sent

  212. to you name and my servant, that you may cure him of his leprosy.

  213. Okay. And when the King of Israel read the letter, you see,

  214. sorry, he tore his clothes and said, am I God to kill

  215. and to make alive? That this man sends word to me to cure a

  216. man of his leprosy? Only consider and see how he is seeking a quarrel

  217. with me. All right? So we pause. That was seven already,

  218. So what's going on here? The King of Syria tries to approach the King

  219. of Israel, all right, although the little girl said, it's this guy,

  220. this other guy, all right, so they try to go official like

  221. that, you know. So men have their own way of trying to approach

  222. the situation. And what happened was I mean, he's thinking, okay,

  223. it is the right way to do, and he's thinking that the King of

  224. Israel should know the Man of God better than him, all right. But

  225. when the letter reaches his king gives a shock and he panics and he gets

  226. overly excited, and he's saying, this guy wants to wants to fight with

  227. me. What kind of response is that? But of course because of the

  228. background, of course they are. You know, they've been fighting for a

  229. long time, their enemies. Suddenly this thing comes and so he can't handle

  230. this toys clothes. Wow, very extreme, bad more than k drama,

  231. you know, right, just one letter. So uh, anyway, what

  232. happened was Elisha all right, as we go to the slight, Now,

  233. yeah, Elisha, man of God heard heard about what happened, and then

  234. I believe he met the king and then he said, or sent to the

  235. king, why have you why are you show drama? Right like tear your

  236. clothes, all right, but you know what you should do. Let him

  237. come to me. Let him come to me. This, If you,

  238. ladies and gentlemen, if you notice this, this is words of faith.

  239. This is what faith is, all right. The comparison is fear. The

  240. King of Israel had fear. By Elishah, the man of God had faith.

  241. No need to be so drama ah, no need to cry like that.

  242. Send him to me. I know a god who can do this.

  243. Amen. I pray and I prophesy over all of us here ex hibajaya that

  244. we will be able to speak with faith like that. Not afraid. But

  245. when trouble comes, you won't be tearing your clothes. You know. You

  246. won't tear out your tie. You won't tell out your leader's badge. Oh

  247. okay, you won't tear out your hair, you will you instead, say

  248. send him to me. I will speak to him, all right, And

  249. if you're not very sure, send him to someone at least okay, one

  250. of the other leaders. Are you know so sure yet? It's okay,

  251. there's there's other leaders. You can send two firsts, but hopefully eventually you

  252. can say, send him to me, I will talk. I know a

  253. god Amen. Amen. Anyone know a god here who is able to heal?

  254. Right, who's able to forgive? A man who's able to raise the

  255. dead? Amen, hallelujah. All right, So come go back to this

  256. when you talk your clothes, let you come to me. That he may

  257. know. Wow, I didn't notice that word was there? All right?

  258. That he may know that all may know that there is essays here there is

  259. a prophet in Israel. It also means that there is a god because a

  260. prophet represents God. All right, that there is a god here. There

  261. is a God in this Cyberjaya man. Now moving on? Oh wait,

  262. sorry, I want to pass it for again. Let's go ahead. Sorry?

  263. Sorry? Why I put there? He sends you to a prophet.

  264. It's like this. I want to ask you the question, which prophet or

  265. rather you know which leader has God sent you to? Right? Many of

  266. us we feel like I chose this leader, I chose this leader. But

  267. actually it is God sending you the leader over you and sometimes you don't like

  268. that leader. Right, But I want to ask you which leader, which

  269. prophet has God sent over you? Right? You say I want to come

  270. to this church. I believe the Holy Spirit led you here. You think

  271. you thought you chose it like Netflix. All right, I'm sorry, there's

  272. no such thing in the Kingdom of God. Right if you thought that way,

  273. now, my God allowed you to think that way for more moment.

  274. But actually there's no such thing. There's no Netflix. Right. He is

  275. the one who chooses the leader for you. All right. The disciples thought

  276. they chose someone, but actually Jesus chose them. Amen. So you need

  277. to recognize the prophet that God has sent over your life, and he's going

  278. to speak over you, and he's going to tell you stuff. All right,

  279. but I'll tell you later how he does it. He doesn't do it

  280. the way you thought he would do. All right. This story is so

  281. interesting so that you may know that there is God, because first you need

  282. to know. We need to know first that there is a God, and

  283. then all may know. Right, it starts with us. So all right,

  284. let's go on. Now we go on. Now this way it gets

  285. even more interesting. Right. He sends you a messenger and nobody to give

  286. you a message to obey. Let's see how this works here and Elisha send

  287. a messenger, nameless guy, no name. Why don't they put name?

  288. Messenger called John or you know something no name el I just said a messenger

  289. to him, saying, go and wash in the Jordan's seven times, and

  290. your flesh shall be restored and you shall be clean. So I want to

  291. I want us to recognize this that sometimes that you know God. This is

  292. how, this is how God worksh he he he lets you, he choose,

  293. chooses a prophet over you. But then uh, if there is a

  294. need to, he sends a messenger that has no name, and you you

  295. don't even know, like and you know, and this this, this messes

  296. around with people who like who are like naming commander of the army, a

  297. man of valor. Send me another man of valor to speak with me.

  298. Ah, right, you know I'm a dato. Send come face to face

  299. with me. A right, don't send me nobody. I don't even know

  300. this guy's name. You know. And people some many people don't like that.

  301. Right, Why don't you come in person? Doesn't give face? He's

  302. the only kind of person. Why he's saying, you've got leopardsy, you

  303. got lepers, don't come here. Maybe no, he didn't say that,

  304. But what I'm saying is he's already going through that himself. I'm sure namon

  305. all right, people avoiding him and say the leopard coming, leopard coming,

  306. you know. So he's now experiencing this from Elisha. He's like, what

  307. kind of Christian is this? Right? What kind of man of God is

  308. this? Where is the love? Why don't you come face to face?

  309. All right? By Elisha doesn't not. Alasia is not avoiding him. He

  310. sends a messenger. Man, he's still lion. You know Inasa we say

  311. lion. He's still treat service the same in the sense like sends a messenger.

  312. But I tell you something this no messengers, not nobody. He's nobody

  313. who got no name, just like the who's is it a boy who had

  314. no name? The five rows and two fish? Yeah, no him.

  315. Praise God for people who have no name on just doing stuff, doing stuff,

  316. serve, serving the Lord, making things happen. Yeah, hallelujah.

  317. Then so this message I'm saying, what I'm saying is I don't think he

  318. is. He's a nobody. Elisha wouldn't simply send anyone. Yeah, this

  319. guy is trusted enough by Elisha that he will give exactly the words he tells

  320. him. He will not twist it and water it down and make it sound

  321. nicer for him. I think maybe Elisha saying this to you, you know,

  322. you know, trying to make it more sweeter, you know, so

  323. that he doesn't feel like a slap on the face so much. Elisha trust

  324. this guy enough, like he's going to give it to him, I know,

  325. because he speaks like me. Right, he's as good as speaking for

  326. me, So I will send him. Right. And uh, this guy

  327. trusts Elishah enough to go to a leper. So there's a lot of trusted

  328. his disciple, Elijah's disciple. No need name, never mind, I'll go

  329. and do the job. Mister, you know, man of God. I

  330. will represent you. And he goes and he tells this very strange right way

  331. of doing something. Here go and wash in Jordan seven times, and your

  332. flesh shall be restored. All right. It's almost like saying I almost saying

  333. name when you need a bath? Right, there's like a big slap on

  334. his face. What do a magic trick you know or something? Bring some

  335. expensive ointment pall on me whatever, you're right, do something spectacular. No

  336. no, no, no, no, no, you know name and you

  337. need a bath. And of all rivers, this Jordan river apparently is not

  338. very clean one. It looks maybe Marquis, I don't know, it's not

  339. the best looking river. And say like, are you insulting me? The

  340. man you know, the commander of the army of Syria and you know man

  341. or val whatever? Right, are you insulting me? Are you you know,

  342. stapping me in the face? So I find this very interesting? All

  343. right? Nobody, but actually not nobody, right Elysha trusts him. I

  344. want to ask us a question here, all right, are we okay?

  345. If the man of God that God has chosen all your life, you know,

  346. he doesn't tell you the way you wanted to hear it, right,

  347. God doesn't give us what we want the way we want it. You know.

  348. He wanted a name and wanted something. He wanted healing, and he

  349. wanted a certain way it to be done. But God gives us what we

  350. need the way we need it, the way that it needs to be delivered,

  351. all right, And sometimes it's uncomfortable, all right? And so next

  352. one and he lets you struggle. Let's us struggle and wrestle with the message.

  353. Right. So, but Nayman was angry, so you know, as

  354. as expected, like in a sense, right, don't be so predictable,

  355. right, expected he was going to be angry listening to this, Right Naymon

  356. was angry, went away, left church, left the company, left the

  357. family, whatever it is saying. Behold, I thought that he would surely

  358. come out to me and stand wow and call upon the name the Lord is

  359. God, and wave his hand. Everyone, wave your hand, wave your

  360. hand in the most amazing way. Don't see anyone withink? Okay, yeah,

  361. how would you do it now? With the most grandeur? You know,

  362. I don't know what I don't what's he expecting? Ah? Like blows

  363. you know, some air, whatever it is, and then wave this one

  364. Harry Potter, all right, uh, and over the place and cure the

  365. leopard. He thought, you know, he had this idea next like just

  366. a continuation of the verse. Yet are not Abana and far par the rivers

  367. of the Mascus better than all the waters of Israel. He's showing us that

  368. he's seen more beautiful rivers. Give me a more beautiful river. Ah,

  369. right, I know better, ones, I can recommend, I can recommend

  370. you know to you, why you tell me this so ugly river Jordan?

  371. Could I not wash in them and be clean? So he turned and went

  372. away in rage. She was in rage. And you know, you know

  373. what, God understands us. God loves us, He knows we will many

  374. you know, sometimes have rage and anger. Why does this guy tell me

  375. like that? Why does pasta? You know, he's trying to correct me

  376. this way? And he even tell me, you know, properly as someone

  377. to tell me. I'm I'm not saying I'm going to do that to anyone,

  378. tell someone to tell you, but you know it kind of works that

  379. way. Your home's leader, right, not passic anath himself, right,

  380. Uh? Your huddle leader, right? Sometimes it's the assistant, not even

  381. the leader is the assistant somewhere all right? In our church, we have

  382. someone called l One. L One is a new leader, new leader.

  383. Sometimes we let new leader train. You know, I'm gonna tell and then

  384. who this guy? I didn't even know he was a leader? Yeah,

  385. okay, So how how would we uh respond right to that? And I

  386. want to ask you another question? Will you be the messenger? Will you

  387. be that no nameless messenger that you know would be would go and tell a

  388. message of God? And will you tell it properly? Will you twist it?

  389. Right? If you're able to keep to it, keep to what you

  390. know that your leader is telling you to pass on, then he can trust

  391. you to do more right. I want to encourage all of us here,

  392. uh, and I want to speak, you know, God's word over us

  393. here, that everyone here, everyone here, from the oldest to the newest

  394. of you know, partners here, that we will take discipleship up. And

  395. yeah, it may be scary, may be uncomfortable, but you know God

  396. is with us. There is a God. There is a God who will

  397. help us, you know, who will lead us, who will speak to

  398. us, who will reveal truth to us, and he will provide all the

  399. ways to be able to lead right. And we're not alone. We're not

  400. alone a man. He will equip us. So now he's enrage, he

  401. goes away. We thought that the end of the Storylready he's gone. He

  402. is leprosis with him forever. That's it. You know, it could have

  403. ended that way. But you see, this is God's mercy. The next

  404. one. He gives us time and a chance to obey, and he sends

  405. people to remind us. So see what I have here. But his servants

  406. came near and said to him, I believe This is all provided by God

  407. to surround him with the right people to be able to to remind him or

  408. just emphasize, Hey, this is a good thing, all right, my

  409. father. If it is a great word, the prophet has spoken to you,

  410. they recognize it. They recognize this is such a good thing. What

  411. are you? Why are you leaving this? Right? Will you not do

  412. it? Has he actually said to you? Wash and be clean? Aren't

  413. you? Isn't that what you're looking for? Wash and be clean? Right?

  414. Of course? Yeah, Jordan River has a bit interesting, right then,

  415. Sally, why seven times? Why not five? Why not ten?

  416. Right? But it's an interesting thing. It's asking you to do. But

  417. the promise is there, wash and be clean? Right? And so God

  418. sends. Firstly, he gives us a lot of time. He gives us

  419. time, but not a ticket for granted. Right, he gives us time.

  420. Let's acknowledge that God, Thank you Lord, that you've given us time.

  421. And uh and uh, he's given more than enough time. In fact,

  422. he always gives us that. Uh. And he gives us a chance

  423. to obey, and he provides the reminder, right, yeah, you don't

  424. want to listen to that messenger. You don't like his face. But then

  425. there's other people who he was familiar with that could say, hey, come

  426. on, lah right, wasn't it a good word? The guy didn't curse

  427. you word, He didn't curse you. Why are you where? You're running

  428. away? You were in rage? He didn't insult you. He didn't,

  429. you know, at least by the words. Didn't insult you. Yeah,

  430. maybe he said a messenger. You didn't like it. You felt insulted,

  431. but he didn't. That was not his intention. We felt insulted, we

  432. felt offended, but they didn't want to offend you. He wasn't planning on

  433. that. Elasha wasn't planning to insult anyone, offen anyone, all right.

  434. And sometimes that's how the Holy Spirit works. He knows the condition of our

  435. hearts, and that's why he allows some things to happen so that we you

  436. know, it touches the nerve. Okay. And then there's this merciful part

  437. where God still sends gentle people around us to siam and say, hey,

  438. it's okay, it's a good word. Come on, listen, come on

  439. listen, all right. And next I'm going to end soon. Is that

  440. all okay? Sorry? All right? He keeps to his promise with radical

  441. obedience. So it goes here this way. So he went down and dipped

  442. himself seven times in the Jordan. H he did it. He did it,

  443. well done. Now well done. To name it mighty man of valor.

  444. He deserves that title in that sense because spiritually he was able to obey.

  445. Although he was raging for a while, he calmed down, he humbled

  446. himself, and he went and he did this, dip himself seven times in

  447. the Jordan, according to the word of the Man of God. How many

  448. of us here will do according to the word of the Man of God in

  449. your life? Yeah, you didn't hear straight from God. You heard from

  450. the Man of God. Right, And perhaps that's how God wanted it.

  451. He uses people, He uses people, even nobodies. And his flesh was

  452. restored like the flesh of the little child, and he was clean. Praise

  453. the Lord. Amen. So what we see here is God keeps to his

  454. promise. He keeps to his promise, is whether we obey or not.

  455. He says, here radical obedience. He followed exactly. And he again he's

  456. like, I don't know what I'm doing here. I'm going to this river.

  457. I know there's more beautiful rivers. I've swam in them before, and

  458. now I'm going in this dirty river. I'm going in. I really still

  459. still probably questioning the whole time going in, but I'm just gonna do it,

  460. just gonna do it because there is that promise I will be washed and

  461. I'll be clean. And so he does. And when when he obeys,

  462. you know, seven times, it's not easy. I don't know what that

  463. means. You know, like dive in seven times. But he's like one

  464. time, like nothing changed, So like should I still do this? I

  465. look so silly, And he probably didn't go alone. I don't know,

  466. like he's he's he's he's people out there watching him, like you can do

  467. it, master, you can come, come one more, one more then

  468. you know, second time, But the sixth time he's like, yeah,

  469. maybe you'll think, what have I got to lose that? Just one more

  470. time? Just do it, all right, just do it. I think

  471. by the time, he's already softened, all right, and he's he's people

  472. cheering for him. There. Yeah, baptism. It's like baptism, isn't

  473. it. He's getting baptized. And so by the seventh time, you know,

  474. he got his he and uh, there's there's a continution to the story,

  475. right, which is a sad ending of a servant. You know,

  476. of Elisha who wanted to do something to get his money because he brought lot

  477. money, right, but Elisha didn't want that. He didn't want the money,

  478. and so uh, the Gahazi was the man who who went a hit

  479. and tried and get the money from Naman and then he was then he got

  480. leprosy instead. Right. But I wanted to just close here, right radical

  481. obedience. I just want to say that I myself have experienced this, meaning

  482. I myself, you know, I I would rather hear straight from Pascana.

  483. I go there. I want to meet Pascna straight, But sometimes I hear

  484. from other people that instead. And uh it's people that when I talk to

  485. them, I feel like, oh, angry and upset, but you know,

  486. go the Lord has delivered me from that. And you know, people

  487. that I used to be so upset with when they tell me and correct me,

  488. I now love them. I love them. I would love to hear

  489. from them, you know, at any time. I love to learn from

  490. them. And you know, I'm not saying I'm there. I'm all there

  491. yet there's definitely a lot to learn, you know, so much more to

  492. learn for everyone, And so I let's just surrender this time again, you

  493. know, our lives to Jesus and humble ourselves and acknowledge Him and say,

  494. God, you do how you want to do it, You do how you

  495. feel I need it, the way it needs to be done. Yeah,

  496. there's some ways I imagine it's better, but your ways are better. Your

  497. ways are better, hallelujah. And it applies to so much, so many

  498. things life. You know, your relationships, how you how you should be,

  499. you know, running your life. If you allow the Lord to show

  500. you a way, allowed the Holy Spirit to lead you in your decisions,

  501. I believe you're going to get breakthroughs. Breakthroughs. We all want breakthroughs in

  502. our lives. Just like Nayman. He needed a breakthrough for his leprosy right,

  503. but he had a he had a mindset how it needs to be done.

  504. But you know, God is greater, God is matter, His way

  505. is better. And yet he is so merciful. He's so merciful, so

  506. kind that he provides not just one way, but you know he has the

  507. other way to help you turn around. So let's allow the work of God

  508. in our lives. You know, sometimes it feels like a harsh and a

  509. hard word, but then let's also acknowledge that's the mercy, there is the

  510. grace. There is that part where he's so gentle and so kind to you,

  511. to all of us, and he's given us time. He's still giving

  512. us time. But we want to acknowledge one to be humble and we don't

  513. want to take it for granted. Okay, God, You've given me a

  514. lot of time. I don't want to waste any more time. Lord.

  515. I want to hear your voice. I want to listen to you, and

  516. I want to obey. Thank you, Lord. We hope you've been blessed

  517. by this message. For more information on our church, please visit as church
