Today's title for the Word of God for us today

is that all may know the Lord Jesus Christ and

his love true Me.

All right. So just to let us all know, especially

those of us who are new here the church.

Here in ext Church, we have our senior Pastor, our

senior minister, our founding senior pastor has declared the theme

for this church this year, which is that all may know. Okay.

We want to see the world. We want to see

everyone know the Lord Jesus Christ.

Okay.

And today's word will be founded on John chapter fourteen.

All right.

So I have also today, even as today is family,

I would like to invite different ones from different age

groups to come and read a portion of scripture from

John chapter fourteen with their physical bibles, if possible.

All right, So I would.

Like to invite Timore to come and read for us

from verse one to verse six. And also I s

Yeah, John Chapter fourteen, verse one to six. Let not

your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also

in me in my father's how so many mentions. If

it were not so, I would have told you I

go to prepare a place for you. And if I

go and prepare a place for you, I will come

again and receive you to myself. That way I am

there you may be also. And where I go, you know?

And the way you know? Terman say to him, Lord,

we do not know where you are going. And how

can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I

am the Way, the truth, and the life. No one

comes to the Father except to me.

Amen. All right, just pause there for a moment. Yeah,

for a moment. I'm supposed to let us know the

background of a verse chapter fourteen.

Yes, So this scripture of the entire chapter.

Fourteen is when Jesus is having his last supper with

his disciples. He's going to be, yeah, taken away from

his disciples, and his disciples are.

Very close to him.

It's like it's like my children and me, we are

going to be separated. But so these are his last

words before they are before Jesus is taken away.

So yeah, these are the words.

All right, So continue on from verse seven Ayesa, Yeah,

verse seven to verse eleven.

If you really know me, you will know my Father

as well from now on. You do know him and

have seen him. Blip said, Lord, show us the Father,

and that will be enough for us. Jesus answered, don't

you know me, Philip, even after I've been among you

such a long time. Anyone who has seen me has

seen the Father. How can you say, show us the Father?

Don't you believe that I am in the Father and

that the Father is in me? The words I say

to you, I do not speak on my authority. Rather,

it is the Father living in me who is doing

his work. Believe me when I say that I am

in the Father and the Father is in me, or

at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.

Hey man, thank you Ayesa. Now Magdalene will read from

verse twelve to fourteen.

I tell you the truth. He who believes in me

will do the greater things than these. Because I ask

for anything in my name, If I will do it

for you, then the Father's glory will be shown the same.

If you ask me for anything in my name, I

will do it.

Amen, Thank you, Thank you.

Magdalen. And Ezra will read verse fifteen to verse eighteen.

If you love me, you will do the things that

I command you. I will ask the Father and he

will give you another helper. He will give you this

helper to be with you forever. The helper is the

spirit of true. The world cannot accept him because it

does not see him or know him.

But you know him.

He lives with you, and he will be in you.

I will not leave you all alone like orphans. I

will come back to you.

Amen.

All right. So that's verse eighteen, verse nineteen to verse

twenty four.

Little while longer, and the world will see me no more,

but you will see me, because I leave, you will

also live.

At that day.

You will know that I am in my Father, and

you in me, and I in you. He who has

my commanments and keeps them, it is he who loves me.

And he who loves me will be loved by my

father Man, and I will love him and manifest myself

to him. Man Judas, not his carriot, said to him, Lord,

how is it that you will manifest yourself to us

and not to the world. Jesus answered and said to him,

if anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and

my Father will love him. And we will come to

him and make our home with him. He who does

not love me does not keep my words. And the

word which you hear is not mine, but the Father

who sent me.

thirty one Johannes, Yeah, okay.

Verse twenty five to thirty one.

Today I am telling I'm telling you these things now

while I'm still with you. But when, but when the

Father sends the Advocate as my representative, that is the

Holy Spirit, He will teach you everything and will remind

you of everything I have told you. Verse twenty seven.

I'm leaving you with a gift peace of mind and heart, Imen.

And the piece I give is a gift the world

cannot give, Imen. So don't be trouble or afraid. Remember

what I told you. I'm going away, but I but

I will come back again to see you. If you

really loved me, you would be happy that I am

going to the Father who is greater than I am.

I have told you these things before they happen, so

that when they do happen, you will believe. Verse thirty.

I don't have much more time to talk to you

because the Ruler of this world approaches. He has no

power over me, but I will do what the Father

requires of me so that the world will know that

I love the Father. Come, let's be going.

Amen. So beautiful to hear the voices of different ones

reading the word of God. Amen. All right, So very quickly,

and children remember to write notes. Okay, Right, So I'm

going to place the slides very quickly. On the first point. Okay,

I really believe even as I was preparing this word

for us today, God's word for us today.

All right.

The first point here says in verse fifteen about the

word of God, very clearly, Jesus commands his disciples.

Two, if you love me, keep my commandments.

All right. So this is first point, everybody, first point.

We love God by keeping observing and obeying his words.

So you know, when the Word of God says love

here in this scripture, verse fifteen, if you love me,

this love means agapal means love that is like full right,

a person's love towards a person to welcome, to entertain,

to be fond of to love dearly. If you love

Jesus dearly, if you love God dearly, keep God's commandment

when this word keep also means ethereal. Okay, ethereal means

to guard, to keep one in state in which he is.

And to observe, okay, means to keep not just to

put in the back, but to observe it, to obey,

to do it. All right. If you love me, keep it.

So to keep here means to observe, to obey all right? Okay,

am I going too fast? Very easy? Right? Yes? Okay,

so all right, So that is from verse verse fifteen. Okay,

in the same point next night, Okay, God will reveal

himself to us. This is God's promise. Okay in verse

twenty one. Allow me to read this again, all right,

verse twenty one. If you have your Bibles, you can

flip to it. In John chapter fourteen, verse twenty one says,

he who has my commandments and keeps them means to

observe them. It is he who loves me, and he

who loves me will be loved by my father, and

I will love him and manifest myself to him.

Here in verse.

Twenty one says that God will reveal himself to us

when we love him by having his word and observing, obeying,

and living God's word out very clear, okay, in verse

twenty one. All right, So if we love God and

we obey him, God promises to reveal himself to us

if anyone of us here amongst us here, or anyone

can hear the sound of my voice. Because this is

also called that, you know, if you are really seeking

the Lord God, the Living God. The Bible says the word,

the Living Word says, keep his word, you know, keep

his word, obey his word, and God will reveal himself

to us a man. All right. And also the next light,

this is two point one very clearly, it says in

verse twenty three. Okay, in verse twenty three, allow me

to read here from John chapter fourteen, Verse twenty three.

Jesus answered and said to him, if anyone loves me,

he will keep my word, and my father will love him,

and we will come to him and make our home

with him. Wow. Isn't that awesome? God, the Living God,

the creator of the heavens and the earth, making his

home with us.

Wow. So God will be with us.

God promises to be with us when we love him

by having his word and observing it.

Wow, this is powerful. Right.

How do you know that God is with you? Yes,

you know the Bible says, yes, God is with us.

But how do you know when we love him, when

we keep his word, when we obey and live it out,

know that He is with you? Sometimes you feel like, yeah,

I've done everything. How do I know God is still

with us? His promises is here, believe it, believe it right,

believe it right, and God is with you. Yeah, this

is his promise. His promises are yes an amen? Right? Okay, yes,

so this is point one right and making his home.

You know in the Old Testament time when God makes

his home in the tabernacle, right, the tabernacle that the

Israelites made, right, his presence come down. He made his

home with his people. When when the word of God says,

when Jesus says here that he will make his home

with him, means he will choose to dwell, choose to

hang out, choose to leper you know a Malaysian language, Yeah,

choose to dwell, choose to yes.

Hang around? Okay in.

Younger language, okay, okay, make our home to dwell, Okay,

stay abide right, those those kind of words. Yes, he

choose to dwell. Okay, So this is his promise for us. Okay,

this is already point one that when we keep God's word,

God will reveal himself to us, and he will choose

to dwell with us.

Okay, he will be with us. Okay, Okay, children.

Okay, poor number two, Poor number two. Holy Spirit, we're

gonna talk about the Holy Spirit. Here. The Jesus telling

his disciples, for he leaves. Okay, don't worry, don't worry. Okay.

As we read in verse one or so, he says,

let not your heart be troubled. Don't worry. Believe in God,

believe in me. Don't worry. You know you will not

be alone.

Okay.

In verse sixteen to verse eighteen, allow me to read that. Also,

Verse sixteen to verse eighteen of John chapter fourteen says.

Jesus says, and I will pray the Father, and he.

Will give you another helper that he may abide with

you forever. The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot

receive because it neither sees him nor knows him.

But you know him talking to the disciples.

You know him, for he dwells with you and will

be with you. And verse eighteen says, I will not

leave you as Ofthans, I will come to you. While

you know Jesus he calls, affirms, and promises his disciples.

Don't worry. You will not be alone. I will come

to you. You know, you know, be comforted. Brothers and sisters.

If you feel alone throughout your journey this week or

around this season, know that God is with you. He

is with you, all right. So this is His word

for you today. And yes, so holy Spirit is from

the Father. Yeah, the Holy Spirit is from the Father.

It's not from It's not man made. It's not something

somebody think up something or some holy spirit. No, this

is from the Father, the creator of the heavens and

the earth.

He is. Holy Spirit is from the Father.

Okay. And next light, holy Spirit is also the helper,

another helper if you read, if you read from verse

verse sixteen, right, and I will pray the Father and

he the Father will give you and another helper. If

you read that another helper is it means the same

kind of Jesus, Jesus speaking to his disciples.

Don't worry.

There is someone like me coming to help you. Okay, Yes,

another helple, the same kind of Jesus. Okay, he is

the He is from the from the from the Father.

He is the helper. Okay. So you might be wondering

what help can he give? Okay, So what help can

he give? Here? Next light?

Right?

He is also the Holy Spirit abides with you forever.

Here also promises God is with you. You know, sometimes

there are times when we go through our journey and

we feel like, wow, even like to.

Share the word of God. You're going to share God's

love with someone?

Right?

How how how do we know that?

You know?

God is with us?

He promises us again and again and again. We cannot

believe you.

You have to believe because it's speak.

To it again and again and again. And this is

what he says. Holy Spirit says, Holy Spirit.

Abides with us.

Jesus says, yeah, okay, that he may abide with you forever.

His promises is here okay, and next light Holy Spirit

also he is the spirit of truth right now out

there in the world. It's just a mess. Okay, it's

a mess. You don't even know what is truth, what

is lie? What is white? And what is black? It's

so great out there, okay about so many concepts and

so many beliefs.

Know that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth.

Okay, as Jesus says, he is the Way, the Truth,

and the Life. The Holy Spirit is the same kind

of Jesus. He is the spirit of truth.

Okay.

Yes, next, light, Holy Spirit also teaches us all things

right In that same verse from verse John, let's read

John chapter fourteen, verse twenty six.

Verse twenty six says, but the.

Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in

my name, he will teach you all things, all things,

all things that's correct, and the'sn all things. Holy Spirit

will teach us all things and bring to remembrance all

things that I said to you. Wow. Wow, we do

not know something. I like Ella's testimony. Ella, thank you

for sharing your testimony today. It was so hard to

do mathematics, she prayed, God, help me with my mathematics.

Wow, and she scored excellently. Praise God.

Congratulations again, Ella, And it is so good that we

are reminded today. Holy Spirit is with us and he

can teach us all things because he creates the heavens

What does he not know?

We're gonna talk about Jesus. John chapter fourteen, verse six.

John fourteen, verse six says Jesus said, I am the Way,

the Truth, and the life. No one comes to the

Father except true me. All right. It's a good verse

to also memorize. Actually, all the verses here can memorize,

okay if you can. And I just want you know,

when I was preparing this, I was like, oh no,

Pussa Jack ready shed this word in early May on

this portion. It's really good if you can get this

message on Spotify. It's from verse one to verse six. Okay, Spotify,

pussa Jack shed a very powerful message, a very clear

and very powerful message.

On this you can get it.

Yeah. I will not at to preach this part, but yes,

you know, just know that Jesus he is the Way,

the Truth, and the life, and no one comes to

God the Father except true Jesus. All right, this one

everybody know, kids, God the notes now right now on

the same point of number three.

Okay, this may shake everyone's I don't know.

Theological believes or what, but allow me to say this

to us. Okay, God's word for us today, all right? Okay,

next life. Also in John chapter fourteen, verse seventeen, allow

me to read versa before we go crazy, John chapter fourteen,

verse seventeen. The word of God says, okay, the Holy

Spirit is the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive.

So Jesus is telling his disciples the Holy Spirit is

the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive. But

it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him,

you know the Holy Spirit. Jesus is saying to his disciples,

you know him, for he dwells with you and will

be with you. Meaning to say, from what I understand

are the world cannot understand the Holy Spirit. The world

cannot see him, cannot comprehend. In fact, when we try

to share God's love to them about the Holy Spirit

or who God, amazing God is, they just cannot understand

because they think that all that we say, all that

we believe, is foolishness unto men. All right, it's just foolish.

It's how can you believe in something and just believe it? Yeah,

and that's it, you know, and you know, inviting Jesus

in your heart and believe it and that's it. Yeah.

So the world, the world.

Cannot seize it.

The world cannot understand it.

That's why all of us who have the Holy Spirit

with us, we are the only way for our friends,

our family, our neighbors, our colleagues, our classmate, everyone, our niece,

our nephews, our cousins. We are the only way to

the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen, this may shake a lot

of our Like, hey, ken man, you know, of course

God can use every other thing in his own creation,

but he chooses to use you and I.

Right, So we are the only way to Jesus Christ.

Right as how, Jesus Christ is the only way, the

truth and the life to God the Father. Right. Even

as I was putting this point right, I'm like thinking

many times I was studying the word of God. God,

am I going to preach something like, you know, a

crooked But God assure me, just speak the truth and

know that we are you and I tell you you

are the only way to Jesus Christ. Okay, So we

are the only way that someone among our circle of friends,

someone that are related to us, knows Jesus Christ. Okay, right,

So and just allow me to also share my testimony. Okay,

So two weeks ago, Andrew and I we went to Bali.

All right, it's for an opportunity. It's an opportunity and

also an invitation that was given to us by Andrew's cousins.

Andrew cousins.

Okay, so Andrew's cousin is like the eldest how do

you say, the eldest big sister. Okay, we caught that, Yeah, yes,

correct that. Yeah, Andrew's cousin's side, right.

So and she.

Has been very helpful to Andrew, especially during his campus

days when we when he came from Johor, Okay, from

not a very big city to a very big city.

So that yeah, her name is Alice. Okay, So Alice

was so kind to you know, just host Andrew, bring

him and maybe get his essentials like bucket, slah, you know,

hangers you know when you first go into campus, right,

and so you need all these essential things, you know,

and got all that and then she drove Andrew in

his in her small car, go all the way to

the campus and drop him at the hostel, you know,

get him settled down. And even every weekend, you know,

ask how is he doing? Bring him out macca, you know,

at least a family member, just comforting. So this this

start yere, this Alicetier is very kind, has been so

kind I mean from his campus is I mean, I'm

sure even before that as well. So she has been

so kind and even throughout his life and even me

getting to know her as well and I joined the family,

you know, she has been so kind to all of us,

very very kind. And yeah, so now she is she's

not young anymore, but now she's finally getting married yay.

So we're so happy for her. And she invited both

of us for this wedding and we said, yes, we

must be there for her, love, because she's been there

for Andrew for almost most of his significant milestone days. Right,

So while we were there, So the wedding was at Bali.

So this picture I took it. It's not from Google. Okay,

it's nice, right, It's just it's a picture taken from Bali. Okay.

We were at sun Or if anyone has been to Bali,

we were at sun Or Snor It's at the south

southeast side of the island. So it's the sunrise kind

of seaside.

Okay.

So that's why this is evening time, so you don't

get the sunset, so it's not so hot.

It's actually very nice.

So this was about like evening time already, like five

five something, five something six, right, So yeah, so we had.

We had actually the reception at the garden and then

the dinner was at the beach, so wind was blowing

so nice. Yeah, So we were at Bali, uh and

and Andrew and I were thinking, maybe we can also

take this opportunity to tour the island of Bali for

our post wedding anniversary. Right so, Andrew and I has

been married for now eleven years already, we haven't done

any big outing lass, so we were like, okay, just

go out for a few hours, no makama. But now

this time we thought like, okay, so since we can

come out, why don't think the opportunity go traveler? Okay,

so go Bali. So that's that's what we did. And

we went to Bali. And yeah, so because we haven't

gone out for more than seven years out of the

country already together without the kids. Right so, and even

as we were out there, right where we were traveling out,

just before we travel out, I remember Anderson was praying

for us.

Say, Anderson was praying that.

God that you will help mommy and daddy to share

God's love to everyone.

That our pressure and pressure sun.

Preyer prayer like okay, okay, God, damn message, good reminder. Okay, yeah,

that all may know, right, yes, so I'm like good reminder. Okay.

So while we were there at Bali, so we had

a driver to bring us around. Okay, a tour is

easier to get to know the place around us. So

Andrew and I had a driver to drive us around.

So next night there's this man. He's so that's this photo, right,

the man decided Andrew. His name is Spartan. He's the

driver is Yeah, his name is Spartan. Okay, yeah, okay,

we call it the nickname. His name is very long,

so his name is Spartan. So he's a driver. He

drives us around Bali for a couple of days, okay.

And he is a very devout Hindu. So in Bali,

the majority people believes is a Hindu religion, okay, about

eighty six point nine as at twenty twenty. Majority of

them are Hindu and uh yes, and it's a different

kind of Hindu compared to the Hindu in Malaysia and

in India. Okay. And they have temples everywhere, temples, temples in.

Their shops, temples at home.

At home also got a few temples, so and everywhere

on the street is temple everywhere you see. I'm thinking like,

oh God, if we can convert this, if the whole

nation is converted, what would they do. I mean, they

will have churches everywhere, streets, cornered church, even in schools,

even in their houses. Their houses are built in such

a way it's like a temple itself. So it's like, wow,

so amazing, crazy. Yeah. And you know, Spartan himself, he's

a devout Hindu. He really believes in his belief, Okay.

He and while he was touring around, touring us around,

he also shared briefly about his belief, his culture and

his practices, his background. He's like preaching to us, you know,

like they're like okay, yeah, you know, was sharing with

us every day. Of course because as a tour guide

he has to explain why is this and why is that?

But of course at the same time he has to

help us understand the belief site so that when we

see something, ah, we understand it. Okay. So yes, so yeah,

so he brought us around, Okay. So just also because

we went on Thursday Thursday until the next Wednesday, we

were in Bali, right, so in between on Sunday we

visited a church. So next light, so we visited a

church on Sunday. It's called Maranatha Maranatha Ministry, Bali Church

on Sunday. And you know what, God's presence was really evident.

It's like it's like x Hyberjaya. But it was in

a small shot lot, okay, as you can see the

pictures there, all right, And yeah, God's presence was really evident.

And even though in the small congregation, and they're also

very welcoming, very friendly. They were so passionate in their

worship even though it's just a small band, and there

was a powerful word spoken as well. I remember that

this lady he was she was preaching from Jesus' temptations

and how she reminded us that God's word is really important.

God's word should always be in our mouths and we

must be careful in what we speak. So yes, she

was preaching the word of God about the word of God.

So I thought that, yes, Holy Spirit is reminding me

also to bring this word to us today, that the

word of God is very important, all right. And oh yeah,

and did you know also they actually have a big

kitchen all right just outside there the entrance of the church.

So as you can see, I know, it's a bit

small Andrews. Andrew and I were standing on the on

the picture on the left bottom right, just in front

of the entrance is actually their kitchen. So in that

kitchen they prepare actually like things to eat after service,

like a big fish for everyone. Unfortunately we can't stay

back after service to Macan with them.

Yeah, but yeah, we sent our regards to them.

Yeah, and we've got some photos and yeah, as the

big picture, as you can see on the right, the

lady next to me is actually one of the leaders.

She actually preaches the word of God also, and the

others are very faithful believers. And Andrew was saying that

it's also amazing to see many men in the church

that day. Okay, so sorry that this picture doesn't doesn't

paint a proper picture of many men, you know, in

the congregsion.

But yes, there's actually a lot of men serving. So

it's really good. It's really good.

So the church is faithfully doing their part despite them

just being the minority in the whole country, in the

whole island. Okay, right, So just just a briefing, just

to let your own know about what I did on

that Sunday, and I was away okay, I was at

church worshiping God as well, all right, so yeah, okay.

So while we were touring, so after service were the

Spartan brought us around Bali. So and one of the

many things that I had observed along the roads of

Bali in most places, was that the front doors of

the houses are usually open, and that there is a

symbol of a white cross in front of every door

post of the entrance. You may change to the next light, okay,

can you spot okay, so as you can see, these

are how do you say, their front entrance of their

yeah houses oay, it's like their gate, you know, their gate.

So for example, like this house, they actually have their

front doors actually opened, and they have a cross, a

white cross. Every every house has it. And as if

you can see, also, the the structure are very temple like. Yeah,

they build their houses like a temple itself, right, and

they have crosses everywhere. So I like every house.

There's just so many.

I wanted to click everything, but yeah, I cannot click

so many. But yes, so many along the roads everywhere

we go, we see this light, right, And and I

asked Spartan and Spartan, why do the people have crosses

in front of their houses?

You know what what does that mean?

Oh? Then Spartan explains, Oh, it's because this is just

as we enter the house, we want to be reminded

that we need to have a good relationship with God

and also a good relationship with men. I'm like, wow,

really and then yes, and and and I also research

a bit about this white cross thing on their doors.

It also symbolizes that they they have this symbol means

they have completed some rituals. They have completed some rituals

already in the house, like when they dedicate their house

or something like that. So it's like a mark of completion, right.

And it also talks about like protection and purity. Yeah,

so for the house. So I'm thinking for myself, wow, God.

If only they knew.

So I explained to Spartan, Spartan, did you know that

for as Christians we believe about the cross. It talks

about the love of God and how God came down.

So I took that opportunity to tell Spartan about why

Jesus came and he said like, yeah, anyways, this Spartan, right,

he before he became a tour driver. He was actually

he was actually on a cruise. He works on a
