You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
So today I want to want to share with you
-
about Abraham. About Abraham. We're still in amount of missions
-
about Abraham. We need to talk about Abraham. But really,
-
I'm sure you heard about this before, that the Lord
-
allows us to go through testing. Someone say testing, And
-
you know, we don't like the word testing, none of
-
us here like kid. But the Lord somehow yous testing
-
to develop us. Someone say developed. The Lord allows us
-
to go through a journey in life, really to reveal.
-
What's in our hearts.
-
What's in our hearts very important on friends, whether you
-
are young, whether you're old. The Bible in genesistunity to
-
Abraham was really old, but yet God still brought him
-
to a test. And sometimes in life we think there
-
is exemption because that we've been in the faith for
-
the past twenty years, that we know the Lord better.
-
Sometimes we think there is exemption in our journey of Christ.
-
I want to just speak to you this morning about
-
have we with help from God? Have we with help
-
from the Lord, have we with hold something that's due
-
to the love, But we decided to hold something back
-
in Genesis chapter twenty two, verse one to two. If
-
you care your Bible, would you turn to there. Genesis
-
chapter twenty one was twenty two verse one. Now it
-
comes to pass after this thing that God tested Abraham
-
and said to Abraham, and say here am verse one,
-
say God tested Abraham. I want you to know something
-
from here from this scripture is that although Abraham went
-
to a few tests, went to a few tests, went
-
to a feel upset down in his journey of life,
-
God spoke to Abraham together from the country Genist chapter twelve.
-
He took the step of faith to follow the Lord,
-
by faith, to follow God.
-
And some of us here took the step of faith
-
as well.
-
You follow the Lord, and someone following the Lord, you
-
won't have a full picture. You will not have a
-
full picture. You will not have the end destination. You
-
only heard God's voice. God spoke to your heart. That's
-
a nudging, and you follow right. Abraham did that. Then
-
Abraham also heard God's voice that God promised that to
-
him a son shall be given or despite all in age,
-
but Abraham to believe you would think that the first
-
two is quite there were Redio. You need to say
-
that the test is quite there. Really there will be
-
no more tests. But Jenesis to training two is a
-
test of Isaac. And you think that this Isaac was
-
given by God and he has to take Isaac right now,
-
remove Isaac from his life and to test Abraham. I'm
-
not sure how many of us here is willing to
-
go to a test like that, a test. God will
-
always give us an opportunity for our hearts to go
-
to a test. Come on, God will always give us
-
an opportunity for hearts to go to a test.
-
You may or may not like it.
-
Friends, You may say think that not Mela, I've been
-
true enough with ealer, test someone else. But in actual
-
fact that sometimes in life, God will bring us to
-
our hearts needs to friends, the next life, our hearts
-
doesn't need it. Our heart needs to go to a test.
-
Without the test, your heart meta won't be revealed. Come on,
-
Without going to a test, your hearts will never be revealed.
-
Many times in our live, friends, we think that we
-
are all right just because we are in church. Just
-
because we're in church, we think that we're all right.
-
But why I say, God will always give us opportunity
-
for us to go to a test. Because in live friends,
-
it's never a straight road, if you know what I mean. Life,
-
no matter how well you plan it, it's never a
-
straight road. There are many challenges in front of us
-
right like tomorrow, there are pressures at work ready you
-
you you can anticipate, and no matter how much you anticipate,
-
you can nelfully anticipate.
-
Right.
-
So, you could be in school right although you've.
-
Been done all your homework.
-
Maybe your teacher had a bad day and decide to
-
express the bad day in the way they teach.
-
You, so you'll go to the pressure of being bullied
-
in school. Right.
-
It's rare, and no matter how much we we try
-
to anticipate different things, friends, we can know fully anticipate,
-
and God uses every challenges in our life to reveal Friends,
-
the question has never been about the tests. Come on,
-
it's not about the test. I want to say, No,
-
it's not about the test. In the Book of James,
-
chapter one, what God is really interested is our attitude
-
when we go to the test. Come on, God is
-
interested in our attitude when we go to the test,
-
because our attitude reviews where we are. The Bible is
-
saying the from the spears, love, joy, peace and everything
-
else you can all right, the word joy is there.
-
Friends.
-
Now, if you have a girlfriend, bail joy, the Lord
-
bless you. We only have one in our church and
-
she's married to join Lee. That's right, Joy, Lee is singer. No,
-
she's not all right. Cool anyway, it's a conversation here.
-
But what I'm trying to say here is this the friends,
-
the Bible says counting all joy when you foil the
-
various trouts and tribulation.
-
Think about it.
-
Why did James the book in such a way whereby
-
he asks you to count it all joy when you
-
fail the various trouts and tribulation? In X Chapter five,
-
Verse twenty one, say that I count it worthy to
-
suffer for Christ. Come on here this I kind it
-
worthy to suffer for Christ. And you think about it.
-
In the modern day context of a church, we are
-
trying to make sure that no church member gets hurt.
-
Everyone has extra barborett like the last package. You have, right,
-
extra barborette paydro ring it right, And this is how
-
we run mini street, is that we try to make
-
sure that no one gets hurt, no one gets burnt out.
-
But in X chapter five, I just ready just now
-
that I counted worthy to suffer for Christ. Come on this,
-
I counted worthy to suffer for Christ. And it brings
-
me to this whole thing about like our journey and
-
I walk with the Lord. I'm not sure the modern
-
day Christians can write the statement account it worthy to
-
suffer for Christ. We will suffer for our education. Four
-
years to get a degree. Praise the Lords. Save are
-
more worthier. Seven years so architecture, medicine, whatsoever. Savah even
-
push the limit PhD double PhD. Praise the Lord Hallujah.
-
The capacity to study the majority of us here four
-
years is enough. Really, I'm not sure how many of
-
us here our feeling I won't say reeling, but in
-
the midst of our journey of life, the faith expect
-
how God leads us guiders that we actually say, God,
-
would you use me. I was speaking to a brother yesterday.
-
He said, Elder, I'm at the crossure right now. I've
-
been asked to go always used to work. Me and
-
my wife we are ready. We don't mind. But yeah,
-
the same time, if to stay back locally house, you
-
don't mind. And my thing here is is that when
-
you go always used to work. I know the vocation
-
could be fantastic. You know, the environment could be good,
-
the air could be fresher, the Instagram pictures could be beautiful. Sorry,
-
sorry for English. You understand right, right? The blue is
-
really blue, not our blue is like fade and blue
-
and stuff like that.
-
Right.
-
I was doing a particular thing in a training foreign company.
-
That copper color was blue, and they have a particular coat.
-
I say, the major frustration right now is to know
-
the blue color code. Isn't it whether or not it's
-
the exact blue exactly that you wanted. But anyway, so
-
this brother was just talking to me. You know, I'm
-
okay and this stuff like that. So I just share this.
-
I say, look, when you go over this, I know
-
the package should be good. Everything fantastic physically, right, But
-
what are you going to do with your life over there?
-
Very important events? Whichever station for your life? I say,
-
what would you do when you get there? What would
-
you do when you get there? Are you just going
-
to exist? Or are you going to take all that
-
you've cut from here? There is a reason why you
-
are here, friends, Come on, there's a reason why you're
-
part of our church for a season of your life.
-
I say, would you therefore take all that you have learned,
-
get there and start something for the Lord?
-
I say, don't just attend your friends.
-
A lot of people say, I'm attending a church, a
-
part of cell group. I am all right and plucked
-
into the community of faith. Nothing wrong with that, friends,
-
nothing wrong with just plugging in. The question has always
-
been in our hearts is that don't just get plugged
-
in friends, because a lot of people get plugged in
-
and consumed. Come on, a lot of people get plugged in.
-
Then what consume? I said, when you get plucked into God,
-
do something and produce. I say, when you get their, friends,
-
and when you get to another country, when you get
-
there all that you have learned from here, would you
-
start a small group? Would you start a smuggle? But hold,
-
it's like pioneering work, pioneering work. God will always give
-
us an opportunity for our hearts to be Come on,
-
pioneering work, I say, would you therefore consider this, get there,
-
pioneer work. You don't this these friends? This is hard
-
real the kingdom. Now, when we pioneer any work for
-
a season, God calls to start. God can calls back
-
home to our country. Why will we start doesn't mean
-
to have to go on forever. Even if you impact
-
one soul, your assignment is done.
-
The value of one life.
-
So God will always give us a portune for it
-
has to be tested when you go to the test.
-
What the Bible says, county all joy. So when you
-
start at homes, do you know study of homes? Can?
-
I say?
-
All the home leaders say, would you raise out your
-
hands without come up? Raise our hands? Raise our hands? Okay,
-
I'm gonna speak on your behalf right now? All right,
-
okay you can put our hands. Do you know what
-
the homeleeder go to? Not? Let me just share with
-
someone that number one who would turn out for homes?
-
Right? Who would turned out for homes? Stress number one?
-
Stress number two is this that when they look at
-
other people's Facebook of what food they serve? When they
-
turned on the Facebook, they look at another church plan
-
what food they serve.
-
I was saying exco to comedy last week.
-
So I just poke this all right faster can is
-
in power of kik one homes and their food is
-
you know pass homes. The food is really the one
-
food backuit table one right then after that got dessert
-
some more our desert is I see you at the
-
Mama shop?
-
All right?
-
Okay, so the pressure number one who comes home? Pressure
-
number two is what the food that serve?
-
Right?
-
People played the food and some say while fish bore
-
from clang is their friends hours is like trying to
-
scrip up the meating you can find from the rice comet.
-
No go mean I have a piece of meat there.
-
You understand, Okay, I'm just exaggerating. Point uble trees. Is
-
that hope if you are the home leader and you're
-
trying to teach the night friends, if you are the
-
facility till the teacher the night, let me tell you
-
know what's christ stress. They look at the faces and
-
the homes come on, okay, I know the home leaders.
-
They look at the faces at the home there. You
-
know how hard and what the pressure is there? You
-
are you prepare for the whole week, ready, and you
-
are just hopefully that whatever you teach and you pass
-
on that the homies will be excited. They will smile
-
by the end of the hotel will thank you for
-
thank you so much for preparing.
-
Well.
-
I really read the Lord, you know I caught a
-
lot from there most time. Is there anything you are
-
to add friends, even the cemetery of more noise. If
-
you understand what I'm trying to know, I'm exaggerating a bit,
-
but it's true. Come on, home, leaders, you understan right,
-
you are the teaching, you're exciting. You are trying to
-
like excite the whole homes. Come on, then the whole
-
homies and look at you know they're not looking at
-
the Bible on the hand phone when the when the
-
time is always cooling down, Come on, unless.
-
You're looking for scripture.
-
Worse, you understand right after their friends, after everything is
-
finished right there, said hey, there's still some more food,
-
and majority of saying, oh.
-
I'm still fool with only the fil the homies go
-
to Mama. After that, I'm sharing all this.
-
Year, counting all joy when you follow the raised trials,
-
when God will always give us opportunity for our house
-
to go to a test. After everybody has left the homes,
-
you discover someone we're going to flush your toilet. It happened, really, friends,
-
I'm not this is not this is not exaggerating. It
-
happened at my previous homes. Someone did a big one
-
and then flush a bit one and did not flash.
-
Come on, if you're the if you're the homeowner. If
-
you are the homeowner, come on, a homeowner. And you
-
guys who cannot improperly, Oh yo, yeah, come you come on,
-
just say you come right. I say it for you
-
are if you're using the church shop police improperly because
-
you're not eating, to be cleaning the todlet every night? Okay?
-
I rather read outside then stress pressure twice a month?
-
Time is that by twelve months? Is it?
-
No?
-
Wonder? That's why somebody people.
-
Say, I read it not be your home leader, because is.
-
It worth it?
-
Not?
-
When you go to your test.
-
The Bible says in Genesis chapter three towards what I
-
was saying, Now God tested Abraham. Come on, now, God
-
tested Abraham. Even though next like, even though Isaac was
-
a promise from God to Abraham, Abraham would still need
-
to go to that test. Come on, even though Isaac
-
was a promise from God to Abraham.
-
Some of you think that just because.
-
It's a promise, God will never touch it. Come on,
-
just because God opened the door for you to work
-
in the company, and come on, you'll be praying for
-
a job, God give you the job. That doesn't mean
-
that you're exempted from being tested at the job. I've
-
seen many you working doubts in our church, pray for
-
a job and God blessed with fantastic job. But the
-
moment they get showed into the vocation that plays the
-
commitment to the Lord, not to the church, the commitment
-
to the love begin begin begin to go down the hill.
-
Can't make it for prayer service. It happens, friends, it
-
happens once. Now we cannot make it normal, but constantly
-
not normal. When you can make it, but you don't
-
go not normal then homes previously at homes you God,
-
please please less me mock contract God gave God, I've
-
seen him for you, God blessed young beginning to travel
-
homes goes out the window. Friends, when you're not around,
-
you're not around, but when you're around. I happened at
-
ten month homes. I was in a one particular home
-
and I saw the brother coming back to the place
-
he went to the place there, but he's almost to go
-
to the other home. Hit the tear and then like
-
should I ask him a question? Are you going for homes?
-
You know? When the elder asked, you know something that's
-
a bit more serious readder right. So I look at
-
I look at the other home. Leader, I say the
-
other HOMEI hey, going out? You're going for homes?
-
Is it?
-
No?
-
Not going going out for a while a leader in
-
our church.
-
Even though Isaac was a promise from God to Abraham,
-
Abraham still need to go to the test. I'm not
-
sure where you are with your journey, friends, Come on,
-
where you are with your journey? Just because we are
-
doing well doesn't mean that God will not bring us
-
to the test. Come on, friends, you and I need
-
to understand. What's the purpose of a test?
-
Come on? What is the purpose of a test?
-
Would say that, I know sure to fail us one,
-
to make a life miserable, to keep us busy. No,
-
it's to review to the person who's being tested. Come on,
-
it's to review to the person who's being tested. Friends,
-
your exem results, who do I want to say? Add
-
and much to the teacher's lifeline, it's not there being tested.
-
It's to reveal what's what we know in the insight?
-
The test. The test is to real. Come on, the
-
test is to reveal because God already knows our hearts.
-
In Look chapter sixteen, verse fifteen, Probabs seventy tree, saying
-
the refining part is for silver and the furnace for goal.
-
But the Lord tests the hearts come on. The refining
-
part is for silver, furnace for goal still where and gold. Friends,
-
for it to be purified, have to go through fire,
-
have to go through a series of tests and many
-
times in our hearts.
-
Just because we sing the.
-
Song use me, Lord, I give you my heart doesn't
-
mean our heart when we give to the Lord it
-
is one hundred percent pure.
-
Think about it.
-
Just because I offer up my heart the Lord doesn't
-
mean that our heart we were exempted from being tested.
-
One reason why I truly believe why God will always
-
bring treated earth, treat that genes, because it's about capacity
-
at the end of the day. Because God really knows
-
our capacity, but we do not know because our heart.
-
Sometimes our capacity of our heart one hundred percent, but
-
forty percent is filled with stuff that doesn't add to
-
the value of friends. God has to prove it so
-
you can add more the other forty percent. But see God,
-
I don't like to be tested. But the Bible, he says,
-
the Lord tested the hearts. The Lord tests will test
-
your hearts. And if we say we love the Lord.
-
The Lord will test you. Come on, so we don't
-
look convinced. Friends, before the purification, there's there's a really
-
a value in the sealer and go. Come on, before
-
the purification, that's really a value to see where and go.
-
But the value increases after the proification process. Come on,
-
the value increases after the provocation process. Some of us
-
here thinking, oh, I'm valuable, Yes, God said I'm of value.
-
But the value that increases after we go to a
-
proification process. The testing of our hearts help us to
-
refine and clarify and reaffirm our commitment to the Lord.
-
It is the testing of our hearts helps us to refine.
-
Come on to refine, Come on to refine, to clarify.
-
Very important is to clarify, to clarify and reaffirm our
-
commitment to the Lord. It's almost like marriage. And many
-
times in your journey with the Lord, what goes out
-
of the window when you get challenges, Come on.
-
What goes out the.
-
Window when we encounter challenges is our faith because sometimes
-
it's very real.
-
The journey of life, the journey of life.
-
Every younger kid that wu't say a face pressure, nobody
-
is exempted right. The question here is that if we
-
say we've got nothing's impossible? Therefore, how do we apply
-
this faith into a workplace? We declare that thing it's
-
impossible with the Lord. So how do we apply this
-
scripture at the workplace? Is it only for the church?
-
How can we find a solution to some challenges we
-
are facing right now? If we read the book of Daniel,
-
Daniel wasn't trained to be a prime minister, but God
-
raised him up to be a prime minister to be advisor.
-
To the king?
-
Right, what would be require of Daniel to go through
-
the process.
-
The lions?
-
Then?
-
Come on? What can prepare you for the lions? Then?
-
Lion Taming School one? Lion Taming School two? Write this
-
word like if you understand what I'm trying to say, right?
-
What what prepares you?
-
Friends? Nothing? Friends? And until unless you go to it?
-
You know friends, when you go to life, friends, you
-
understand that to every season got real firms, to every
-
challenge has got real firms. And you know that God
-
is real and God is faithful. That God is real
-
and God's faithful. Friends, So we may not know that
-
we came out with our latest album not announce here anyway,
-
Just let you know, go to Spotify, okay, one worship
-
and then change the songware. Besides, today is listed there. Right,
-
you may hear jack voice if hear clearly clearly right
-
Jack's voice. But why did we decided to come up
-
with albums? Not because we wanted to for fame. We
-
never do anything for fame, friends, because fame is very fleeting.
-
We only came up with it only because God, if
-
we can use us, come on, if we can use
-
our skill and our talents. Just because we look different
-
from a Caucasian doesn't mean our music. Come on, it's lesser.
-
Just because the lyrics is from this part of the world.
-
Come on, just because the lyrics is from this part
-
of the world doesn't mean it cannot be used to impact.
-
The other part of the world.
-
But many times in our life, friends, we put ourselves lesser.
-
That's why our hearts sometimes the word is that we
-
don't our hearts don't get clarified, does get real firm.
-
Past.
-
The Cavs always encourages us.
-
If you can use anything, just use it. That's why
-
I'm so proud of Examberdaya. Because you do not allow
-
a sport mixer to stop.
-
You all.
-
Used to use the channel mixer. First. I want to
-
let you know.
-
Friends, in my twenty our years of doing church, I
-
get very funny requests Elder, I need the digital mixer
-
and maybe other I did digital mixer so.
-
That the worship x RISS can go up.
-
The question here is this that before the device ever
-
came to existence, what's the worship ever? Down in the eighties,
-
there are some churches in some country affairs don't even
-
mixer southeaster, so don't have.
-
Yet. At the same time, the worship it is next level.
-
And many times our journey we put our faith in
-
technologies and stuff like that. That's why the testing of
-
our hearts helps us to refine. Come on, I'm glad
-
that you weren't distracted because it's only for China, and
-
I'm glad you you weren't distracted. There's only one or
-
two music instruments on stage because the day will conference
-
where we don't have this facility anymore. We're meeting in
-
a big group is illegal globally, not just in Malaysia,
-
but globally where Bible will be removed from every phone.
-
The test thinking about house helps us to refine and
-
clarify that of commitment to the Lord.
-
As I did for it was ten.
-
Behold, I have refined you, not as silver, I've tested
-
you in the furnace off. Come on or whatever he
-
is the word in the furnies off. How many of
-
us save? We'll set up for a fulliest of fliction semina.
-
Sign me up, furties of a fliction, Sign me up.
-
Friends.
-
This is not going to a gym. You get that,
-
you get your personal instructors. Come on, pass the jack.
-
One more rep, Come on, one more rep.
-
You can't do it.
-
Come on, your wife is so stronger than you. One
-
another transition. Put it the furnace of suffering. Think very
-
Sevin scripture comes up. How many of you all say
-
that God, please test me to the furnies of suffering.
-
Please?
-
I needed Lord, but many times in our journey God
-
will always bring it to because you know why. The
-
value that God sees in our hearts, in your life.
-
See the test, friends, at the end of the day,
-
is not just because he wants to increase your market value.
-
It's not about increasing your market value as much as
-
he knows your potential to do more. So you heard
-
just now about Moses transits passing away. He's forty one
-
years old. Forty one years old passed away, and recently
-
about a couple of one month ago, there's another guy
-
thirty eight years old went on.
-
To be with the Lord.
-
Some of us who attended those wake services. Question always
-
comes to our minds so young, so young, And the
-
question here is that we don't know how well how
-
our journey and when the Lord will call us home?
-
Isn't it if you if we knew when you're the
-
last day on how would you therefore change your life?
-
If you knew the last thing you have.
-
The vibe definitely you your life will be very different,
-
very purposeful, very meaningful. You will not fight after what's
-
it served at homes anymore. The fact you could come
-
together praise to Hallelujah. You're know I get about the
-
least of songs anymore, because you know why, you know
-
that every time you could sing it is really a blessing.
-
I've tested you the furnace of affliction. God wants to
-
bring us to a test like Abraham. If the furnace
-
is used to remove them purity that's in civil how
-
much more our hearts needs to go to the furnace
-
of affliction and suffering.
-
Come on, if the.
-
Furnace was used to remove them purity and see where
-
and go right, how much more our hearts needs to
-
go to it so that it has to be even
-
more clear, more clear by saving in my basket? Yeah, oldier,
-
But isn't this missions money?
-
Yes?
-
This is how I'm gonna die. One of the one
-
of the things I truly believe. What's the furnace of
-
affliction and suffering is when you start serving, When you
-
start serving your follies of affliction and suffering.
-
Friends.
-
It's not at your workplace, no, because I've heard when
-
the workers get tough, you just change job.
-
Normal.
-
Okay, I'm not knocking that down all right, But serving
-
is next level. Serving is optional.
-
Work. It's almost like composite. Without what you won't get paid, right.
-
Serving is different when you are serving friends, Come on,
-
your dream thing.
-
Leader asked you to come at nine a m. Is
-
that correct? Somewhere around there right.
-
Here about that right, and you are there by eight
-
fifty five because.
-
You want to be early.
-
You're driping middle walks here at nine or five, nine ten,
-
And sometimes they why stuff?
-
You are late?
-
It works on people in friends when you're alrighty, no
-
problem your best friends when they step on you one day,
-
when not at the right day, you walk up the
-
wrong side of the big friends, that that statement becomes
-
like even right now, friends, even right now, Oh I'm
-
saying right now, I've been sharing right now yourself. You're
-
going like, it's elder talking about me. It's passage.
-
They talking about me.
-
It's doctor, doctor juill talk about anybody want right, very loving?
-
All right?
-
Is this picture talking about me and our friends? Survey
-
is optional and sometimes if you know it's the furness
-
of suffering friends, which you want to go to it?
-
Huh if you see a big sight furnace of suffering,
-
I'm not sure how many of us say realingally, oh,
-
let's go and see what's all about?
-
Right the other entrance.
-
The other entrance could be TRX, and you go like, yeah,
-
this is more exciting, and you go into it. I've
-
seen people cure for Apple's shop in TRGX for two
-
hours just to get it to take picture, just to
-
take picture normal friends to fear up their content right
-
and said, all right, furnace of suffering. Nobody want because
-
if you know it's suffering, friends, why you want to
-
make your life so miserable?
-
True or not? If you know it's hard affliction, you
-
wouldn't want it on the side of it.
-
But the package doesn't coming true that way, because if
-
you know it's suffering, you are white like way. See,
-
if you know it's traffic, jeb, what you do, we rout?
-
We awoid. I'm not saying it, but a traffic jab
-
Let's go treat it, okay, because counting all joy, the
-
Bible says, right, I love traffic jab or this is
-
going very good really because if we beat the Bangkok,
-
if we beat the Philippines, next level that one.
-
Right, So therefore counting all.
-
Joy, no, we we rout, we find another way, We
-
look for another road.
-
Why because you want to avoid just like life.
-
If you know theice, the fullness of affliction and suffering
-
in front of you, you awoid. While we're married, the
-
love bless you. It's kidding, just kidding, all right. I
-
just want to share something with yours. So me and
-
my wife right now, we haven't been staying together for
-
almost a month, Okay, I have to share this with
-
you first, okay before you hear for anyone else, all right,
-
before you hate for anyone else, Okay.
-
I got the different. I just wanted to explain, to explain.
-
So my house had to go to a major repair
-
because I moved in fourteen years ago without much funds.
-
Just meant to get some cupboards up and stuff like that.
-
But after fourteen years I told my wife, let's try
-
to fix it up. Right.
-
Whyever we try to fix it up? It started with that.
-
We started the fixing in February this early this year,
-
right early this year. Rain and this stuff that stopped
-
the project for a while and stuff like that. Then
-
we wanted to change something in the house because it
-
was leaking. Only the from the pipes wasn't right. So
-
we decided to let's let's let's let's just see the
-
things are down. Really, let's try to fix the thing.
-
Like me. You see the towels are downweigh myself just
-
getting corrected once to me?
-
All right. Anyway, one thing led to another.
-
I got a visit by the local council because somewhere
-
along my neighborhood someone didn't like my hacking noise.
-
Decided and say, hey, can you check out the house?
-
Stop the local house story from my I would they say, hey,
-
do you have permit? I expected, but insight you don't
-
really really really don't need to permit one. He said, casual,
-
please try to get a permit. I understand and try
-
and say, because someone has fought in the complaint onst
-
people find a complaint, you just have to comply. That right,
-
not not a problem. So me and my wife just
-
went to the local counclt with our application. It should
-
be out by the next couple of days. Really in
-
the meantime, in the meantime, we have to move out
-
because power my ceiling was dropping. Power my ceiling was
-
wasn't wasn't straight, was dropping and decided we decided let's
-
get it fixed, because you know, let's let's get it
-
fixed and this stuff that. So we have to move out.
-
We have to move out, and calls Chip Skaler. We
-
they want to read the NBA be somewhere else. The say, hey,
-
I tell you what, let's use this time. You spend
-
some time with your parents. I spend some time with
-
my dad. I move off from my dad's house twenty
-
years ago. She moved off from her parents house twenty
-
years ago. Now moving back in twenty years later, it's
-
a very different story friends, very different story. Well, hers
-
is like, you know, the father was like, you're coming
-
back to a house who air con fixed for her.
-
It's like welcoming her daughter back. You know, air come
-
fixed for her. The fridge got fruits, ice cream, you
-
name it. Every day it is there, like like Daddy's girl.
-
Like everything it is there. Everything. Okay, I'm telling you everything.
-
Every morning she wakes up, the father got out for her.
-
Come on, you know, I mean that that's you under say, okay,
-
you missed doing that for your daughter, all right, Like
-
my dad never did that for me, Okay, I ever
-
told her openly. I went back there and went like that,
-
we need to clear the house something seriously over singer
-
person singing a double story house. But there's not enough place.
-
So we put things through and was his mom passed away?
-
My dad did have the strength to clear the house. Whatsoever. Right,
-
I'm glad I'm moving my dad because my dad. Recently
-
I found out there was a sort of a pet,
-
a pet that that in the form of a rat
-
that was in the kitchen for the longest time. I say, Dad,
-
you know there's a red at the back of your
-
I was the happily like you know, using your tens
-
is not really washing because after you wash, you don't
-
really wash it. It is your house like reds all
-
did this go that? The red actually went to the
-
rack where I took the swos out from. Okay, see dad, Dad,
-
what are you gonna do about this pet of yours?
-
If you're not you're not. If you're not taking care
-
of it is your pet. I will say that, right,
-
I cannot find the old school red cage.
-
You know what I mean? The meta one cannot find.
-
They don't make it anymore.
-
I say that there's a limous excuse I ever hearer
-
now doubt already my moving.
-
Back in, I say, can I find? Can I fight?
-
I say, where do you go? Went down the road?
-
Cannot find? I say, Dad, tell you what I just
-
ordered from shoppy? Okay, say goodbye?
-
Ready, came in there the next day, put out the
-
next day, put the trap out next day, caught it.
-
I say, Dad, you got two choices. Number one, bring
-
it very far away and release it. If you got
-
no okay, animal the us. Okay, if you've got no heart,
-
but you know what to do with if you If
-
you've got the hatler, so moving in my dad.
-
Friends, it was a test for me. Have you tried
-
having a conversation with.
-
A senior person who repeats the same thing every other day,
-
the same into nation, the same story everything.
-
Now, I love my dad to be to that, I
-
pretend here for the very first like, oh, he's it.
-
Why why didn't you tell me?
-
So? A couple of days ago, my dad came bare
-
at one fifteen because he went back to his brothers
-
and stuff like that.
-
I was worried for my dad. Where are you? I
-
say that I tried calling you went with your phone.
-
My phone got virus war go virus. I say, what
-
do you do?
-
I keep pressing things there the NT virus stating there
-
are days, really, there are days I won't let you know, honestly,
-
as a change out there wan't let you know. There
-
are days whereby I just reached my house to be ready,
-
I want to move out immediately. I can confess to
-
you because there are days whereby I wanted to get
-
I only I wish about four and a half hours
-
of sleep now. But yet at the same time, Yet,
-
at the same time, I'll let you all know I
-
love my dad to be. You know, I have lots
-
of conversation with him. But yet at the same time,
-
at the same time, the testing of your hearts, your hearts,
-
God will never use an external forces you if he knew,
-
if if it was packaged. So whereas the tea shirt
-
of suffering and affliction you will avoid, come closest to you,
-
you can't avoid, come closest to you cannot avoid. And
-
was when I was going to it as I and
-
this chapter friends, my heart, my love and my dad
-
comes even stronger. I told my dad said that I'm
-
going to run away. My toil will be big. Okay,
-
I'm not saying you're going to have a view chair,
-
but in case you need a few chair, dog, I
-
prepare for you, really prepare. I'm just making my daughter
-
that's a bit bigger.
-
Okay.
-
I'm not sure where you are with your journey. I'm
-
not sure where you are in your faith as well.
-
But I truly know that this is very important, that
-
the law was our hearts to expand you know, as
-
IIAs say that single baron, you know the scripture single
-
baron at Isaiah fifty four to fifty five, single.
-
Baron you have you have without chewing. Right, I see
-
the sing.
-
Do you know how difficult is it to sing when
-
you don't have? For not friends, when you look at
-
your neighbors when they have come on, When you look
-
at your neighbors when they have something, if you should reach,
-
you desire forward, you don't have. So there are days
-
I go back to my house is still in the
-
midst of the renovation and stuff, so that these go back.
-
But amos almost in tears, because one more month you'll
-
move back. One more month, you'll get our sanity back.
-
One more mone we can put things back into the cabinet.
-
One more month. We don't have to live out now.
-
My clothes is in ikear bags right now. One more month.
-
All right, I'm a few I need a few clothes
-
that only our couples will be reopened again one moment.
-
I'm not sure you where we are friends. So there
-
are days. There are days, there are days whereby we
-
wish So right now I want to let you know.
-
So I did my wife almost every other night. Wow,
-
I'm just looking at you.
-
She got Oh.
-
I want to let you know something. Okay, Now I
-
truly understand why they think are for younger people to
-
confess I told this to my wife. I understand, okay,
-
and now I understand why they think it's really for
-
younger people. So with me and my wife work in
-
the same organization. After what we have dinner together. This
-
is only the time could spend my wife. Then after
-
that send her back to charras I drive back to
-
put cho younger that I'm not a problem.
-
Easy. When you're close to fifty, you go like you're
-
yawning on the way back. Friends.
-
Yeah, now I understand why you need a lot of
-
energy to date. When you're this h treat, you go
-
like you go you said it to the person, back
-
to another place. You go like, it's so tiring, it's
-
so tiring. How am I going to end this? I
-
just got one more. There's a few more slices with
-
your friends. Missions is one of the avenue got used
-
to test our hearts. Come on, God, used my dad?
-
Really? I you know, I told my dad.
-
You know I'm never getting this apportunity anymore. Twenty years later,
-
we're able to move back with him, stay with him,
-
talk to him almost every other night, listening to some
-
the same some same story as some new stories. Right,
-
I won't get this the project. My wife was, so
-
she knows. I say for me and my dad's okay.
-
I say, your dad's going to go to even bigger
-
withdrawers right now, because once you move out, you go it.
-
Do put the white food anymore? The bigger withdrawal, I say,
-
your dad's going to feel even more the the The
-
thing here is that it's a test, and when we
-
move out, it's just like missions when we go for
-
mission strengths. When you go for missions, it's the people
-
that will challenge your hearts when you serve with a
-
different food. Come on, different food. I spoke to her.
-
I know of somebody who's not used to eating any
-
other cuisine that Chinese, because she grabbed an environment whereby
-
majority of eating Chinese food every day for thirty years
-
of a life. Given the choice, you say, I have
-
any other cuisine. I'm not sure where you are, what
-
tests you're going through, But if things were served to you,
-
would you still eat it? Not? Come on, we think
-
who's serve to you? Well, you still eat it just
-
because it looks a bit different, tastes a bit different.
-
I told a lot of this, and I told a
-
lot of this. All right, lot, I really do. Gave
-
for almost every anything that you want me to consume
-
except for ballowed. Except for ballowed. Huh, I I can't
-
except for ballow. I don't have the concept. I I
-
tried looking at it. I saw the thing, and I
-
I couldn't And so I was I was sharing this
-
this message. I'm going to close share this message one
-
girl in one.
-
But I love it. I love it.
-
I love it, I said, sister, come follow me on
-
the mission to Philippines. All right, when they serve me
-
are passy to you, and I show them when they
-
serve a possity to you and you can consume it,
-
I can't. Right, So therefore missions well, and when you
-
got used to test our hearts? Come on, come on,
-
if you were ser what would you do? If you
-
word server?
-
Would you do? I?
-
Honestly, I would take a bit, like okay, I cannot
-
conte everything. I'll just take a bit. Right. Some you
-
don't know about the is uh that embryo, that mbo
-
where you get the big the feathers, the bones, and
-
just that when you're bite it you get all these
-
crunchy beats inside.
-
Right Okay?
-
So anyway, now, good reasons I got good reason. I
-
got hot is shoe, I got hardy shoe. I got
-
hardy shoe. Okay, But anyway, how I'm gonna close. Got
-
used the evenue, which is why I really got us heart.
-
Okay.
-
When you go to the field, serve a different food.
-
Worship is different songs. Songs back in the seventies, can
-
you still worship? Not?
-
Come on? Come on? If the song back in the seventies,
-
can you still worship?
-
Not?
-
Song back in the seventies? Can you still worship?
-
Not? But can you still worship the song beat seventies?
-
Not those seventies. Let's let's downy back songs from the eighties?
-
Can you still worship?
-
Not?
-
Those a gram in the eighties? You know there's a
-
famous saw celebrate you to celebrate?
-
Right?
-
We know because we love that the way the keyboard
-
is being played at one particular part, that was the
-
coolest part of the soul something something younger people, what's
-
all is that?
-
But right?
-
But when the soul was something back then, we love
-
the soul. But this I heard it again, I'm go like,
-
I go, like, what song is that? Can we still worship?
-
If today the worship leader sings out of key.
-
Think about it. No, I must say you did. But
-
if it did?
-
First, if it did, if it did, can you still
-
worship or not? Because I've heard statements before whereby this
-
is not worship.
-
This experience is not a full experience. You need a
-
bigger band.
-
I've heard it before, friends sitting before, because that's how
-
we imagine worship, is that this is how it's supposed
-
to look like. So the question here is is that
-
if mission is any used by God. Friends, when you
-
go to the mission field, all that you have some
-
timee is a guitar with two strings, two strings, two strings, friends, and.
-
They play with all.
-
Their hearts because that's they couldn't find a replacement string anymore.
-
But they worship the Lord? Can we still worship? They
-
serve you food? Can you still give thanks? They offer
-
you a drink the best? Can you steal when you
-
ask to do things that's out of your normal comfort zone?
-
Can you steal serf?
-
And at the field, friends, I'm going to close at
-
the field, at the field, at the field, at the field,
-
you can't say this. I'm not trained for cheos ministry.
-
There is no such thing. I'm not trained for churis ministry.
-
On the missions field. If you ever say that God
-
will always be another chewdre in the form of a
-
doubt into your life that you cannot run away.
-
Even if you're younger. You can't see that.
-
I cannot talk to an adult at the field because
-
many times you mix so many excuses. I can't do
-
this worshiping. I can't preach, share test me. I cannot friends,
-
how good God is? Friends, because all that you shared,
-
all the use worshiping in a very small community, and
-
in those community I can guarantee you none of them
-
will take up the head of how bad the worship
-
leader is. I have not seen any mission field, anyone
-
from the mission field. Anybody goes to the mission field,
-
the committee, you'll reach out to take a handful and snap.
-
Look at this sharing. This team from excers cannot even
-
pitch properly. I have not seen anyone filming Jewish ministry.
-
Look at this thing for excers doing Churwish ministry can't
-
even talk to children. Do And yet sometimes in our
-
own hearts we say we cannot at the few friends.
-
God always challenges our hearts. Pray for the sake, Come on,
-
pray for the sake. So you're like, pray for the
-
sake passaject? Where are you a pussy?
-
Ject? Cancer?
-
I cannot cancer? Cannot past cancer? You're okay?
-
They can't studies easy? What's stopping us? Friends?
-
We will recall to worship alongside with them, just differently,
-
sing differently songs. Different songs always make a different language.
-
Can be still worship? As I close right in our friends?
-
Why does God bring us to a test because he
-
wants us to reaffirm outcome inment to him? Can you
-
worship if it's a different language?
-
Can you worship.
-
If it's a different song that you normally sing many times?
-
Our challenge? We we love coming to church on Sunday.
-
Everyone a versay. You got a favorite city church? You
-
have your favorite site. You always see that particular city
-
chest if the scene is occupied by someone else, do
-
you got I'm not sure where sevill could be burned
-
because you serve before.
-
In church, have a pleasant experience.
-
If you're a power of ex hosts, you know what
-
hosting is one of the most challenging things.
-
Also in our church, you welcome people. People just walk
-
past you.
-
You put out your head to shake people sad people
-
just say don't touch me after, shake your head, and
-
then sanitize your hand. I under said, but you feel
-
it as a whost you go that I just sanitize
-
you in my own hands. Can you shaak people's hands?
-
I showed them to the seat during the midst of
-
the worship. You tap the ex partner, say sorry, sorry,
-
there's empty ceyasm themetera. There only to find out in
-
the midst of worship the ex partner this character. You
-
don't you know I'm worshipping the lock and you talk
-
to me later. I'm lifting on my Hand'm communicating with
-
the lot right now, all right, please talk to me later.
-
Happened before friends in our church. That's in our church.
-
Empty cis in between you the whole say can you
-
just big way?
-
Some of you.
-
Got told off by our partners because you were deep
-
in worship. You shake someone's hand because the diamond ry
-
was so big it hurts your finger your palm. Happened
-
to me one time I shook something. A lady said,
-
good morning.
-
I'm like, sister, your rock was very big. Let me
-
know it at once.
-
Then you shake someone's else else's hands. The person just
-
apply hand lotion, I said, bringing to a close. I'm
-
not sure where you are with your journey. Friends, I'm
-
just sharing it very lightly, because all these experiences cause
-
you whether you want to serve the lot or not,
-
cause you whether you you want to go further with
-
the lot. I say missions one of the avenue that
-
got users serving as Susiah another one.
-
But even heart some we applied into serving. Friends.
-
If a heart don't apply into serving, then when our
-
heart get tested, as I close, I did go almost statement, friends,
-
a test that we choose my own self, a test
-
that we choose my own self is not a test.
-
Come on, a test that you choose my ownself. God,
-
can't you say I'm being tested?
-
And really?
-
Friends, how fast that you choose by your own self
-
is not really a fast because you choose based on
-
what you think you should fast. A fast that God
-
demands is a fast of obedience. So a test is
-
really a testment. It's out from obedience, friends, not because
-
I think, I think, I just go for one. So
-
a true test, it's not a test that we choose.
-
A true test is the test that God will bring us.
-
It's about obedience. It's about faith. It's about faith. As
-
I close, right in our first. I want to just
-
challenge your a verse here before August ends. Don't you
-
tear yourself if there's any reason, any reason in your life,
-
why you do want to go for missions or serve
-
the Lord? Would you therefore surrenders to God. I want
-
to surrender every reason, every hurt.
-
And every pain.
-
I want you to wear every excuses because not necessarily
-
the hurt and the pin that's stopping you from serving,
-
it's because of excuses and one like you. One enough
-
people really excited, but not people serving a radio every Sunday.
-
I can't go host video on going not worship lead radio?
-
Can I.
-
Homes really extra sim in the homes? Why make a
-
life so difficult? So before August ends, church, start serving
-
the Lord. Before August end, go for missions, sil for
-
missions before August and say God, this year I want
-
to go closer to you. The fullies of affliction come on,
-
fullies of suffering.
-
God.
-
I know August you'll go treat I'd rather go treat
-
with you, Lord than without you. I rather go to
-
test it with the Lord than without the Lord. As
-
I close friends, I.
-
Just want to encourage you.
-
God's fitful. God is indeed fitful in everyone's life. I
-
want to encourage you because I know there's so many
-
challenges you. Life is just too simple. This will confine
-
me just a couple of words. But God is faithful.
-
Don't stop serving him, don't stop giving to him, no
-
matter how tough it is. He's been faithful for you
-
for so many years of your life, so many years
-
of your life.
-
He's faithful. He will definitely see you too.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
-
information on our church, please visit as church org. We
-
are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that
-
this week is going to be a good week. I
-
hit for you.
-
God bless
