  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Last night it started to rain very heavily about eleven am.

  4. But you know, el Mabele and me, we kind of

  5. went asleep early yesterday, about nine thirty. That's because we

  6. got up on a Saturday morning at four o'clock. We

  7. couldn't sleep, so we decided go walking. So we started

  8. at four am, which is usual for me but unusual

  9. for her. Okay, because you know, thirty pounds does not happen,

  10. you know, just like that, it's daily getting up at

  11. four am to walk. But anyway, praise the Lord. We

  12. were tired. We went to sleep and I'd set my

  13. alarm for four am this morning because I get up

  14. at four am to go for my morning walk. So

  15. I can pray for the surveys, because nothing that I

  16. say means anything, but only the anointing of the power

  17. the Holy Spirit means something. Eleven am, I was deep sleep.

  18. The eleven PM. Sorry, I was in a deep sleep,

  19. and the Lord woke me up. She was awake and

  20. the Mabel was awake, but I was. I was asleep,

  21. and when I woke up, I could hear the voice

  22. of the Lord say go downstairs, Go downstairs, Go downstairs,

  23. And I'm thinking to myself, it's raining, Lord, why would

  24. I want to go downstairs. I got to get up

  25. at four am to pray. But the Lord said go downstairs,

  26. so I got up. When I got up, el the

  27. Mabel said, did you close the doors properly? Because the

  28. light is blinking that the door is open. So she

  29. couldn't sleep because that light was blinking. And I got

  30. up and the Lord said go downstairs. When I went

  31. downstairs in that heavy rain, it was like it was

  32. raining in my hole. You see I got I got

  33. two holes. One is on the inside, one is on

  34. the outside. The outside is really where the family room is,

  35. where we chill, and the whole place was raining inside.

  36. Water everywhere was dripping from the ceiling, was coming down.

  37. My furniture was wet, you know, my sofa was wet.

  38. The dogs were going crazy. You know, we've got three

  39. dogs to uh to our to our rescue dogs and

  40. one were we're just looking after until my son in

  41. law comes back. But it was just pouring down, a

  42. water streaming down the walls, water coming from the top.

  43. It was just some work was done and it ties

  44. in today's today's message. Okay, some work was done on

  45. the roof and it wasn't done. Well, oh my word,

  46. you should say. And you know that my sofa is

  47. very precious to me. How many of you know that

  48. when a sofa gets wet, it ain't good. So at

  49. eleven am at the mable and myself did all the

  50. exercise I would have done if I got up at

  51. four am in the morning. We had to clean the

  52. place we had. I had to rearrange my first hall

  53. and put all the furniture in a certain way, and

  54. bring all the furniture from the from the other hall

  55. into this one. And then came the process of cleaning

  56. the sofa. Praise the Lord. I've got this kind of

  57. carpet cleaner which I use, and it can suck water out.

  58. So for one hour I was sucking order out of

  59. there sofa. I put the egg on on to dry everything,

  60. and praise the Lord. This morning everything's okay, sofa is dry,

  61. no sting. You see, God is good. He woke me

  62. up to tell me to go downstairs. Something was not right.

  63. If I had not gone downstairs. Imagine I took out

  64. so much water from the sofa, but it was not

  65. thoroughly so yet if I had not got up, it

  66. might have been permanently damaged. And God knows, God knows,

  67. and God protected. And it's wonderful to listen to the Lord.

  68. And then, you know, in spite when we should have

  69. been saying why me, Lord, oh my Lord, you know

  70. what was there was gratefulness in my heart. Thank you Lord,

  71. that you woke me up and I heard, and you

  72. know what, that was precious to me. So I said, okay, Lord,

  73. now that I'm awake, I'll pray for this morning service

  74. as reset my alarm not to wake me up at

  75. four o'clock or that I could get some rest. And

  76. we praise the Lord. That's how the day started. I'm

  77. here to share with your message setbacks. Setbacks are not

  78. necessarily failures. Hey, you and I we are so into

  79. the word now of sharing with others that all may

  80. know Matthew twenty eight, nineteen twenty, which we read just

  81. now go into the world, Go you that for the world.

  82. You know, preach the Gospel, make disciples. You know that

  83. that word that tells us to go out, get it done,

  84. get it done. Share. Do you know that we are

  85. a second away from some madmen causing World War three.

  86. I literally mean we are a second away. All it

  87. takes is for one cycle to press that button. In

  88. case you don't know, last week, put In said, we

  89. are changing our stands and policy on the use of

  90. nuclear weapons. No longer will we use it only if

  91. somebody fires a nuclear weapon on us first. If we

  92. feel we are threatened, we will go for it. That

  93. was just about two or three days ago. And about

  94. two or three days ago China responded, and China said,

  95. don't do it. You and I gotta wake up. We

  96. are not living in a world that we knew so

  97. long ago. Scripture says, do not forsake the gathering of

  98. the saints even as the day approaches. What day the

  99. day of his second coming, the day of his appearing,

  100. And one of the scriptures says, scripture says that when

  101. the whole world turns against his children, which you know

  102. is in the Middle East, it will signal the return

  103. of Jesus Christ. And how many of you know there

  104. is one alley, one friend of that Middle Eastern nation,

  105. and that is a huge nation called the USA. And

  106. USA is going through elections now and one of its

  107. candidates hates that little nation. Did you know that? Hey,

  108. in case you do not read the news, I've been

  109. doing it for you, and I'm here to share you,

  110. share you and teach you that Jesus is coming against soon.

  111. And I always tell my children, maybe not in our lifetime,

  112. but definitely in yours. That's how fast things have changed.

  113. Oh you have I've not been here in the last year. Right. Oh,

  114. I've been sharing how this has been coming, and I've

  115. been giving details and and uh prophecies being responded to

  116. an answered in all my messages throughout the last year.

  117. So I'm here to tell you that if you've got

  118. somebody who's not saved, go out and share with them

  119. about Jesus. Hey, guys, the worst that somebody can say

  120. to you is no, I don't want then their blood

  121. be on their heads. But you and I we're not

  122. called to save. Do you know that we only called

  123. the share. Who is the one who say, blessed, I

  124. use Simon by Jonah for flesh and blood has not

  125. revealed this to you. But my father, who is in heaven,

  126. whose job is to do the revelation. Well, John wrote

  127. the Book of Revelation it's very good. Our job is

  128. to do the telling. Our job is to do the discipling.

  129. You know what is discipling? Monkey? See monkey? Do we

  130. the monkey? You see other monkeys? Do we follow? I'm sorry,

  131. We're not monkeys. But this is just colloquialism. Okay, this

  132. is a simple understanding of what discipleship is. Discipleship is not,

  133. you know, talking theory. I keep telling people that the

  134. most people who got saved in my life as a

  135. Christian happener when I knew nothing, when I only knew

  136. Jesus saved me. And I feel good. Yeah. And when

  137. I told that to people, they came to the Lord.

  138. And like I said, most of the people who came

  139. to the Lord in my early ministry they are now pastors.

  140. And what did I do? I just shared with them.

  141. I got saved. I feel good. Why don't you feel

  142. good also? And believe in Jesus? And they God said,

  143. But now I'm too smart. I know eschatology, that's the

  144. study of Jesus Christ. I know all these theories. I've

  145. read the Bible through and through so much a knowledge

  146. up here. Not so many people coming to the Lord.

  147. But what am I supposed to do. I'm supposed to tell,

  148. and you know what. The thing when we tell, when

  149. we tell and people don't listen, we get discouraged. Don't

  150. allow the devil to discourage you, because you know what,

  151. you are not meant to be encouraged by people getting saved.

  152. If they get saved and you encouraged, praise the Lord.

  153. But you know what you're supposed to be encouraged by.

  154. I got an opportunity to share. Be encouraged with that,

  155. and then you don't care whether people say yes or no.

  156. Your job is just tell, man, Just get it out there.

  157. Setbacks are not failures. I'm going to read from two

  158. Samuel six three to five, and I think you know

  159. this story.

  160. So they set the ark of God. What's the ark

  161. of God? The Ark of God is a kind of

  162. a box that was inlaid with gold, and over it

  163. they had like two angels with wings stretched out over

  164. it that they were not real angels, they were models

  165. of angels. And in it were put the if I'm

  166. not mistaken, a piece of manner where the children were

  167. walking in Israel. It was also that the ten commandments

  168. that God had wrote with his finger on the stone

  169. was put there. It wasn't and it wasn't an object

  170. of worship, but it was a representation of the presence

  171. of God kept in the Holy of holies, the tent

  172. even as children walk through the desert to get to

  173. their final hole, which is that place I was talking

  174. about just now in the mid East. So they set

  175. the Art of the Covenant on a new cart because

  176. the old cat just won't do. Okay, They set in

  177. a new cart and brought it out of the house

  178. of a been Adwn. And I have said this so

  179. many times, but this name never gets easier. Abenadub okay

  180. okay mm, which was on a hill. And Uzzah and Ahiel,

  181. the sons of Abinadab drove the new cart and they

  182. brought it out of the house of my Binadab, which

  183. was on the hill accomming the Ark of God and

  184. a heel went before the arc twice twice, not once,

  185. but twice. It was said that the ark was on

  186. a hill. Why if something is significant or insignificant, Why

  187. if something is insignificant is it mentioned twice? So the

  188. hill must mean something. So I asked the Lord Lord,

  189. what does the hill represent? Hey, guys, how many of

  190. you are having a good life. Can I see it?

  191. S your hands? Wait, I like that you have a

  192. good life? You too, And you guess what, You're on

  193. a hill. You're on a hill. So the good life

  194. is when you're having a hill experience. There used to

  195. be a song forty or fifty years ago, I want

  196. to be the mountain fellowship in with the Lord. You

  197. don't know that song. I don't blame you. It was

  198. very it was. It was a number one song, okay,

  199. in the late seventies. The art of covenant was on

  200. a hill. Sometimes when you and I are having a

  201. great life. Sometimes when you are having good things happen

  202. to us. Guess what, you aren't supposed to stay there,

  203. because if it was meant that you should just stay

  204. on the hill, there would be no need for the

  205. art of the covenant to be moved. You see, you

  206. and I got to realize one thing. The Bible says

  207. that God takes us from glory to glory. How many

  208. of you know that in between one glory and the

  209. next there might be value, There might be something you

  210. have to go down in order to go and scripture

  211. is full. If you are saying, oh, that's not scriptural,

  212. you should not be having those kinds of things. Well,

  213. tell that to Paul. Not this Paul, but the one

  214. who wrote the Bible. Tell it to Paul. Because because

  215. Paul said, I got this thorn in my flesh, And

  216. what did God say? Just give it the program man,

  217. get over him? The Holy Spirit's response was, get over it.

  218. If you got a thorn in your flesh, it's all

  219. right because you are just men to trust in me,

  220. for when you're weak, you are strong. So if Paul

  221. was only having a hell experience, then he would have

  222. no weakness in his life. But you see what was

  223. the weakness to him an opportunity to trust God more

  224. getting it. Oh guys, so I know the children want

  225. to hill fireh we.

  226. Stood in all across if Jesus had to be taken

  227. down from a hill and put it a tool.

  228. Hey, guys, you and I we have no excuse to

  229. break when things go wrong. I mean we could have said, oh,

  230. my house is drowning, I can't make it a service.

  231. God knew. God has known both of us enough to

  232. know that. Should it have done that as we were

  233. about to get ready for service, you know what the

  234. both of us would have done. We would have just

  235. let it be. If we got up this morning and

  236. it was pouring, you know what we would have done.

  237. Do your worst. We're going to church, and we will

  238. just let it be. So that lesson has already been

  239. proven to God, that lesson has always already been taught

  240. by God, and we have already responded. Well, there is

  241. no need for God to test us in this again.

  242. Long ago, I had a fish tank, big one, it's

  243. quite a big fish tank. It was in a window,

  244. because you know, when I extended my house, instead of

  245. covering up the window, I built a fish tank in

  246. the window. So like coming from the back, coming through

  247. the fish tank into the dining One day I got

  248. up in the morning, I came down We're about to

  249. go for service, and I heard the sound of rushing water.

  250. And the first thing that I thought in my head,

  251. the fish tank has broken, and it's far away from

  252. where I come downstairs. But you know, this is how

  253. the Lord's true. Enough, I went downstairs and the fish

  254. tank had broken and water was pouring out of it,

  255. and it was just about time for us to leave

  256. for church, and held the people to myself. We said,

  257. let's go to church and let God take care of

  258. it because we can't manage it. So we went to church.

  259. When we came home, that big fish tank and I

  260. mean it's bigger. The glass was so thick because it

  261. was really huge, had about so much water in it,

  262. and every fish was still alive, all nine of them.

  263. So we saved the fish and we gave it to somebody,

  264. and I got rid of the fish tank, and I

  265. built a showcase enough. But you see, God had already

  266. tested us before, so he knew what our response would be.

  267. Nothing draws us away from the worship of God on

  268. a Sunday morning. And here you and I, some of us,

  269. we find it so hard to come for service because

  270. we went to Starbucks and left at two or three

  271. a m. On Sunday morning. Scripture says, even as you know,

  272. the days appearing for sake, not the gathering of the scenes.

  273. You think God is saying it for He's good. Hey,

  274. when Jesus comes again, you and I better be found

  275. on the right side. All that from two hills amazing.

  276. Then David, You're gonna love David, and all the house

  277. of Israel played music before the Lord, and all all

  278. kinds of instruments of forwood on HAPs on stringed instruments,

  279. on tambourines, on systems, and on symbols. Sounds good, right,

  280. sounds good? We were playing music Christian music. How many

  281. of you know it just because you listen to Christian music,

  282. you're not worshiping the Lord. It's not sufficient to just

  283. listen to gospel music. And trust me, I've been listening

  284. to gospel music for longer than most of you have

  285. been alive. I have been listening to contemporary gospel music

  286. since seventy nine, music with guitars and drums. And I'm

  287. not talking about the choet type music, Okay, I'm talking

  288. about gospel music that would shake up the dead since

  289. seventy nine. But how many of you know that just

  290. because you listen to gospel music does not make you

  291. a Christian. There are so many people in the world

  292. who love gospel music but who have got no relationship

  293. with Jesus Christ. So here we had David, and he

  294. had a relationship with Jesus Christ. A lot of worship. Well,

  295. I don't know why those worship, but the Scripture says,

  296. let me see it, they played all kinds of music

  297. before the Lord. I think Scripture is very very sure

  298. with its words. It might have been different if they

  299. played all kinds of music to the Lord. It might

  300. have been different if they played all kinds of gospel

  301. music for the Lord. But something tells me they were euphoric.

  302. They were happy, they were joyful, they were dancing, they

  303. were in a disco man. But it was just before

  304. the Lord. But I didn't hear those special words like

  305. to the Lord, for the Lord, or about the Lord.

  306. I didn't hear those words. They did it before the Lord.

  307. When our praise and worship is defective, we may miss

  308. out on doing the things that the Holy Spirit has

  309. told us to do. You see, the name of the

  310. game is success, and in order to achieve success, we

  311. have to do things the way the Holy Spirit tell

  312. to do. There was this man that was shared to

  313. by so many people, and he was dying off cancer,

  314. and he did not want to come to the Lord.

  315. He said no, no, no, I'm not ready. No no no.

  316. I went one time they shared with him, and when

  317. he said no, I felt that was like a setback.

  318. Then shut through the heart, so some of you went.

  319. Love doesn't take place shut through the heart. They get

  320. over it. God's able to find you somebody else. But

  321. the issue is this all right? When he said no,

  322. that was kind of like a setback, right, Oh, I failed,

  323. So I don't want to share anymore. I failed, So

  324. I give up. I failed. I failed in bringing him

  325. to the Lord. So let's not this anymore. This is

  326. where God was teaching me. Get over people saying no,

  327. because it's just a sat back, but it is not

  328. necessarily a failure. So anyway, two or three weeks later,

  329. I found out he was now in hospital, and I

  330. had the calling and the prompting in my heart go

  331. and see him. So I sought the Lord, Lord, what

  332. do I do with this guy? How do I share

  333. with him? How do I get through? He already said no.

  334. What's new that I'm going to tell him? You say,

  335. because this guy said, I will only receive I will

  336. only accept Jesus if I see him. Okay, you're so great,

  337. you need to see God before I get you. Got

  338. the message, so I prayed, say Lord, and anytime something

  339. good is about to happen, it storms like I did

  340. this morning. So as I was going to that hospital,

  341. it was stormy. How many of you or your knicks

  342. are getting tired when you see me walk up and down.

  343. I was tired up. But you know what you're You're

  344. you're still awake, right. If I stand still, you fall asleep.

  345. So follow me, follow me, follow me. So I prayed,

  346. you say God, what do I do? Even as I

  347. was going to the hospital and the Lord, I mean,

  348. his answer is quite funnier badminton. I'm asking you, Lord,

  349. why what do I say to this guy who's dying?

  350. And you are telling me badminton? Yes, badminton. Yeah. So

  351. I went and see him and the first thing I

  352. asked him was you do know you're dying? Right? Huh?

  353. You would say that to a person who is in

  354. that situation. The truth is the truth. You do know that, right?

  355. He said yes? I said, Well, the Lord asked me

  356. to tell you this, actually, yeah, do you play badminton? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,

  357. I like badminton? Or really yeah yeah yeah yeah. So

  358. I just told him, when Jesus died on the cross

  359. and rose again to save you, he has served the

  360. shuttle to you. Do you know that he cannot do

  361. anything until you hit the shuttle back to him, And

  362. when you receive him, you hit the shuttle back to him,

  363. then he's ready to return it to you. I said,

  364. the ball is in your corner. He served the shadow

  365. to you when he died the cross. He's waiting for you,

  366. and you want to see him as a friend because

  367. you're going home soon. Do you want to receive Jesus?

  368. He said, yes, guess what he received the Lord and

  369. then he gave his destiny. He said he actually saw

  370. the Lord come to the room, see him. You couldn't

  371. see the face, but it was really bright light, and

  372. he just knew there was Jesus. So you see, it's true. Man.

  373. And then after that he told his niece, I saw

  374. two men come into my room. They were bright white.

  375. They had a little bit of a discussion. They looked

  376. at me that they disappeared. So I just told his

  377. niece he's about to pass away. Get ready, And within

  378. a couple of days he left. It was a setback,

  379. but man, God is good. Hey, some of those guys,

  380. and I told you this before, at least I think

  381. I have some of the people that God that you

  382. have shared with. I'm not going to accept the Lord

  383. while you're there, you know, but you'll meet them twenty

  384. years later, thirty years later, and they've come to the

  385. Lord because you shared Jesus with them. He was nineteen

  386. eighty two and I left Singapore after studying. Some of

  387. you may have heard this. I left Singapore ninety eighty

  388. two after doing my A levels there, and as I left,

  389. I had this friend. His friend. You know, he is

  390. a very very rich Indonesian. We were learning a lot

  391. about Indonesia, just not really really rich Indonesian. I mean,

  392. in nineteen eighty two, if you owned a car in Singapore,

  393. you were rich. He was the only one who had

  394. his own car. It was a Nissan Bluebert. Okay, really

  395. rich guy, but really nice guy is my classmate. So,

  396. you know, thank God for the internet. One day found

  397. him on the internet and he said, Terrence, guess what.

  398. I'm a pastor. Say you're pastor? How did that happen?

  399. He said, you ought to blame? What did I do? Said? Look,

  400. don't you remember what you wrote in my autograph book?

  401. I say, are you crazy? That was thirty years ago?

  402. Thirty five years ago? How can I remember this? Is? Well? Anyway,

  403. I was on my yacht. That tells you how which

  404. he wasn't he had his own yard. This is I

  405. was on my own yard and I was alone in

  406. the waters. And something happened and I was about to

  407. die and I couldn't There was no way for me

  408. to get help. And I remembered what you wrote in

  409. my autograph book, which was whenever you run into trouble,

  410. call on the name of Jesus and he will come

  411. and help you. At that moment, I called on Jesus,

  412. and he came on the water and he helped me,

  413. and he saved me. I got back to shore, I

  414. gave everything up, and I decided to go full time.

  415. I found out thirty five years later. Hey, guys, you're

  416. a light bulb. And everywhere you go and everywhere you

  417. set foot, you just talk about Jesus and you share

  418. about him, and you go into the world and preach

  419. the God. And it does not matter if you find

  420. out there and then whether they received the Lord, because

  421. one day you'll find out. One day you will see.

  422. So all this from David playing instruments. And when they

  423. came to Nachon's thrashing flow, it sounds like a potato chip.

  424. And when they came to natural strashing floor, Usa put

  425. out his hand on the ark of God took hold

  426. of it for the oxen stumble. Sometimes the vehicle of

  427. your transport may stumble. Sometimes you may think you're doing

  428. the right thing, but there might be an occasion that

  429. you stumble. And I want you to know what happened next.

  430. Then the angle of the Lord was aroused against Uzza,

  431. and God struck him there for his error, and he

  432. died there by the arc of God because God had said,

  433. don't touch the ark, because anyone who touches the ar

  434. will die. Okay, this is the time for truth. How

  435. many of you have read this passage before? Can I see?

  436. Show hands? That's all I'm okay. You guys got to

  437. go and read the old testimony because it's still a

  438. word of God. Okay, that's number one. Okay, out of

  439. those who read, how many of you? And this is

  440. the I want you to search your heart and be honest. Okay.

  441. How many of you after reading this thought that it

  442. was very harsh of God to kill this man who

  443. put out his hand to prevent the arc from falling.

  444. I'm one of them. Okay. So how many of you

  445. have read this and thought it was a little bit harsh? Okay?

  446. That's about almost the same number, almost the same number.

  447. Why would this be? Why would this be he did

  448. something good and he died? Did he do something good?

  449. You and I when we touched God? It had better

  450. be with faith, because when you touch God with doubt,

  451. you just may die. And I asked the Lord what

  452. is the answer to this on one of my morning

  453. walks at four am. This does not come from any commentary. Again,

  454. this actually came from the Lord, the Lord of Lords,

  455. the King of Kings, who built the universe and put

  456. everything in its place by the power of his word,

  457. and holds everything in his hands. Are you telling me

  458. that this same God did not have the ability to

  459. prevent the ark from falling supernaturally when Uza touched the ark?

  460. You know what he was actually telling God? I can,

  461. but you can't your honor. I will protect you are

  462. unable to protect your own honor when you look at

  463. it from that light? Do you see why God was angry?

  464. You have known me all of your life. Don't you know, Oh,

  465. I can take care of you. Don't you know I'm

  466. able to do I spoke things into existence. Do you

  467. know that if this earth just goes off a millimeter

  468. of a degree, you and Ivory are dead? Are you

  469. aware that the earth spins if I'm not mistaken twenty

  470. six degrees on its axis, that if it was a

  471. millimeter off that axis, life could not be sustained on

  472. this earth. Are you aware that the center of the

  473. Earth spins to produce a magnetic force field around the

  474. Earth that prevents cosmic rays from burning you to a

  475. crisp that if this center of the Earth was not

  476. spinning and there was no magnetic field to protect it,

  477. microwave effects from the Sun would fry us in a

  478. few seconds. And this is the God who is looking

  479. after all this and keeping all things in place. And

  480. you mean to say he is unable to prevent an

  481. arc from falling once you begin to see it. Now,

  482. if God didn't, King Uzza, maybe you want to so seriously,

  483. let me think about it. Guys, the God that we

  484. believe in is not some ninety eight pound weekly Okay,

  485. why I say ninety eight pound weekling? How many you

  486. remember the comics there was the ninety eight pound weekling,

  487. and then you buy something you put on muscles, so

  488. they always call it a ninety eight pound week. Yeah,

  489. I guess I'm speaking. This is really sad. He said, Hey,

  490. you guys, gotta read more. Game it's really sad. You

  491. don't know all these things. But this is the God

  492. whom you and I believe in. Hey, guys, if you

  493. want to touch God, touch him with faith. Do not

  494. touch him with fear. He doesn't like it. Do not

  495. touch him with doubt. He doesn't like it. Without faith,

  496. it is impossible to what please God. Without faith, it

  497. is impossible to make God like it. That's what pleases

  498. Love pleases like, isn't it. So? Have you ever felt

  499. that they were doing that, that we were doing the

  500. right thing? And sometimes you feel we're doing the right

  501. thing and that there was no progress? Because scripture says

  502. the anger of the Lord was aroused against Musa and

  503. God struck him there. And you know what next one

  504. David became angry because of the Lord's outbreak against Musa,

  505. and he called the name of this place perez Uza.

  506. To this day, David was angry with the Lord. How

  507. many of you know people who are angry with the Lord?

  508. Do you know anybody here? No? I know I know

  509. some people who are angry with the Lord. These are

  510. the most I'm not allowed to say anything. I'll use

  511. a kind word. These are the most senseless people in

  512. the world. There's some other words starting the s. There

  513. are few words eye to be angry with the Lord.

  514. It's like the end, telling to the elephant, get out

  515. of my face. The hair from the elephants steel fall

  516. on the end. The end is no more. That's what

  517. it is like. So this is sometimes how we feel

  518. when we feel we're doing the right thing and there's

  519. no progress. You know, sometimes we feel others are to blame, Gregna.

  520. Do we feel that others are to blame for our

  521. lack of success? Sometimes we even feel that even though

  522. we were doing the right thing, we fail. So how

  523. do we react? The obvious one is anger. Do we

  524. get angry at someone? Do we get angry at someone

  525. when we fail? We do? We do? But you know,

  526. if you really want to get somebody who's responsible for

  527. us failing, this is my advice. Go to your house,

  528. Go to your toilet, because everybody's toilet has this, it's

  529. a mirror. Look into it and get angry with that person.

  530. If you have to this. It makes you feel that

  531. you fail, make you fear it does, which is why

  532. a few of us we don't like to share. Jesus Christ,

  533. Can I be honest with you? How many of us

  534. don't like to share Jesus because we've done it before,

  535. people have rejected us. Can I see show hands? If

  536. that's you honestly true, isn't it? How did Jesus feel

  537. when he came and he said, seen me, you've seen

  538. the Father. And yet the children of Israel said, stop

  539. them from praising you. Stop the children from opening your

  540. mouth and saying, God, you're great. What did Jesus say,

  541. If they don't praise me, the stones who praise me doubt?

  542. Do we doubt the plan? Hey? God, you really mean

  543. for me to share? Hey? You know that's scripture in

  544. Matthew twenty eight doesn't say those of you who've got

  545. a big mount, you go and share. It did not

  546. say those of you who are articulate, go and share.

  547. He did not say those of you who are pastors

  548. going share. Didn't say those of you who've known the

  549. Lord for forty years, you go and make disciples. Didn't

  550. say that. It did not. It just said going into

  551. the world and preaching the gospel. Do you know that

  552. the people whom this was told to, most of them

  553. had experience with Jesus only three years? And do you

  554. know that at that point of time, they had yet

  555. to accept him as personal Lord and savior, because that

  556. could only take place after Jesus died and resurrected. Did

  557. you know that? And here you and I have been

  558. in the Lord forty years and we think, oh, I've

  559. got to offer. The devil is very happy when you

  560. say that. Does it stop us? How many of you

  561. have heard of this statement? Paralysis of analysis? You analyze,

  562. and you analyze, your one, you analyze, You're then you're

  563. still analyzing. You've already grown old, about to go into dementia,

  564. still analyzing, family has already bought the coffin, still analyzing,

  565. and you go home and be with the Lord, and

  566. you've analyzed and done nothing. Guys, guys, come on, don't

  567. let it stop you, because it's just a set back.

  568. It's not the end of the story. The ark of

  569. the Lord remained in the house of opened item the

  570. geiti three months, and the Lord blessed old oh beed

  571. edom and all his household. So now David was angry

  572. and said, I don't want to have anything to do

  573. with this wherever it is. Just leave it, man, just

  574. leave it. I'm out of here. No, So he went

  575. back to his place, and Albert Eden was very happy.

  576. You don't want, I want, you don't take never mind,

  577. leave it here. Leave it here because now it was

  578. told to King David, saying, the Lord has blessed the

  579. house of obed Eden and all that belongs to him

  580. because of the Ark of the Lord. It took some

  581. time for David to realize that Lord, the Lord was

  582. blessing somebody else. You know why, you know I took

  583. so long. It took some time because no Internet, maney,

  584. it gets you every time I told his jokes so

  585. many times. People always make in love because it's true.

  586. You think you're only source of information Internet. Hey, so David,

  587. you know what's right? Is right? So David realizes that

  588. the Lord was blessing somebody else. So David went and

  589. brought up the ark of God from the house of

  590. over idemicity of David with gladness. Man, he realized what

  591. was wrong, and he changed his attitude. Look, all of

  592. us need attitude. Adjudge adjustments. You see, what prevents us

  593. from experiencing the grace and power and blessings of the

  594. Lord is simply an adjustment in our behavior. Because now

  595. David realized, Hey, it's not anger. I need to exhibit

  596. its gladness. So I'm going to bring back the Ark

  597. of the Covenant. And what was different this time? This

  598. time when David went to bring the ark, there was

  599. careful sacrifice and worship. You see just now. The first

  600. time it was nothing but a party atmosphere. Who sabration time,

  601. come on, got a celebration, but the Lord's name was

  602. not there, and it didn't work. So now David realized, yeah, yeah, yeah,

  603. all those things are good, but there has to be

  604. a deeper sense of worship. And I'm going to break

  605. this down. Okay, you you ever this? This the Lord

  606. did this morning? Okay, every six paces David sacrificed sheep.

  607. You know, what was the distance of Albert Adam's house

  608. to Jerusalem? Fifty kilometers? Fifty kilometers is one hundred and

  609. sixty four thousand steps. How do I know because one thousand,

  610. five hundred steps on my watch is one kilometer, So

  611. one hundred and sixty four thousand steps six paces is

  612. five feet. So how many paces were there from autumn

  613. obed Adam's house to Jerusalem? Thirty two thousand. Now David

  614. sacrificed sheep and oxen plural not singular, So just taking

  615. it as two sheep and two oxen per six steps,

  616. it worked out to Okay, I got working here, let's see, okay,

  617. thirty two thousand steps, uh sixty four thousand, sixty four thousand. Now,

  618. on the average, the price of the sheep and the

  619. oxen together in one go was one thousand, four hundred

  620. US dollars. So it took David eighty nine million, six

  621. hundred thousand dollars worth of sheep and oxen he sacrifice,

  622. and to break it down converted to ring it it

  623. was half a billion dollars. David sacrificed half a billion

  624. dollars to worship the Lord. Careful secon scrifice. David set

  625. aside his kingly garments and simplified his attire. He just

  626. wore an effort, you know why, because I'm going to

  627. get down and worship the Lord, and I don't want

  628. to be restricted, So he WoT something simple. The work

  629. was not done until the careful, carefully prepared offerings were made.

  630. David sacrifice to the Lord every six steps, every five

  631. feet one two three four five one thousand, four hundred

  632. US dollars one two three four five two thousand, eight

  633. hundred US dollars and so on and so forth. My

  634. man's not that good. So I did not work more

  635. than that, don't you get it? And this time David

  636. succeeded in bringing the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem.

  637. But I want you to know that it did not

  638. end there. Do you know after God got his dues

  639. and after David had success, you know what David did.

  640. He shared and gave to the people. It's in scripture.

  641. It's in Scripture two six. After that, he gave gifts

  642. to everyone, meaning what when the Lord blesses you, it's

  643. not for yourself, it's for you to bless somebody else.

  644. Success setbacks are not failures, but opportunities to get it right.

  645. And with that, I hope you had a good time

  646. listening and being blessed by the word of God. So

  647. go out talk to that family member, share with them

  648. about Jesus. If you can't talk to your family or

  649. your father and mother because they are old school and

  650. don't understand, start with this. Tell them dad, mom, I

  651. love you. You have to start somewhere. Do that, rather

  652. than when they've left this. Oh, I should have told

  653. them no, no, no, no, No, they're here now tell

  654. them now. Most likely they are like my and my mother.

  655. They will think something is wrong with you, or there's

  656. some prom her. What's wrong is every Okay? That was

  657. the response that they gave me when I told them that.

  658. I said, no, I would rather tell you now that

  659. I love you than have regrets that when you're gone.

  660. I didn't see it today. My father and mother tell

  661. me that they love me. You may think that's normal, right,

  662. because we tell our kids we love them, and they

  663. tell us we love them. But have you told your dad?

  664. Have you No, it's been a while. Has he told

  665. you back to you? Can't think of a that He's

  666. what I mean. Start a movement somewhere. Make it a movement,

  667. you know what, because that will open the doors up

  668. for you to be able to tell them about Christ.

  669. Because before they listen to you about Jesus Christ, they

  670. want to know that your life has changed. And because

  671. they see that in yourself, Wow, you're so open to

  672. me about your affection Jesus must have done something and

  673. they will listen to you about Jesus. So that's your start. Hey,

  674. if any of you have problems, I say this before

  675. if any of you problem have problems sharing with some people,

  676. and they need to know Christ. If you need help her,

  677. come because I'm not afraid for people to tell me

  678. no anymore. I'm not because once you get the word

  679. in there, Hey, there's an opportunity. Okay, let's stay and

  680. the ministry team is going to come and lead us

  681. in the world through song and worship. How about that?

  682. Did any of us ever realize that David sacrificed half

  683. a billion ringed to bring and that is conservative estimates

  684. because I took roughly one sheep to be worth about

  685. two hundred US dollars and one oxen to be worth

  686. about five hundred. But actually it's much more. Actually it's

  687. much more amazing in it. And I just took plural

  688. that because he said oxenden cheap. What if you sacrifice

  689. three has three quarters of a billion dollars.
