  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. So the title this morning is submit, Submit your assignments,

  4. Submit your work, something your homework. Submit that all may know.

  5. Submit that all may know is this picture of the

  6. dog here. I think it's like the You know, when

  7. you train a dog, you're training to teach it to

  8. submit to your instruction, to your command, all right, Otherwise

  9. it causes a lot of problems. All right. Some of

  10. you here you may have passed before, and you know,

  11. some of your dogs are really disobedient. They're not listening

  12. to you, you because you've not taught it to submit.

  13. So when I taught my dog to sit, and some

  14. of you have done that before, I did watch a

  15. bit of video from what it was the guy with

  16. dog whisperer or is it dog whisperer? Okay, And I

  17. mean I learned it and it worked. So for those

  18. of you who want to have dogs, maybe you can

  19. take some tips as well. When you when I wanted

  20. to teach my dog to sit, I had to push

  21. her down. I had to push her down like the

  22. desert of arrow. And then and then I of course

  23. I give a treat a treat, right, And then after

  24. a few rounds, and then it started to realize, oh

  25. if I do that, you know, because my master's trying

  26. to tell me, sit down, and it's put my you know,

  27. my back down and sit and then I get a treat.

  28. So then after a few cycles, it became automatic and

  29. I didn't have to push her anymore. She would sit

  30. all right, And I managed to we you know, we

  31. managed to because we did have a helper at home

  32. one time, and you know, it was convenient, but you know,

  33. there's pros and concert you know, of doing that. But

  34. one day she had to leave. So when she left,

  35. before she left, just like maybe a month or two

  36. before she left, I realized something because every time we

  37. went out, we kept a dog in a cage, and

  38. then I will help her after we left and close

  39. the gate. She will release the dog so that, you know,

  40. the dog can have a life. Otherwise she'll be stuck

  41. in the cage the whole time we're at work and

  42. at school. So I thought I hit a ready and

  43. I thought, okay, she's not going to be around to

  44. release the dog. I will need to release the dog

  45. and get out of my house. While the gate is

  46. open and make sure she doesn't run out. So how so,

  47. because thank god I've already started, I've already trained her before,

  48. and I know how it works. I started to train

  49. her to when I say in, she goes into the cage.

  50. Uh and uh you know uh and and I figured

  51. out that some some whaler right that even when I

  52. left the cage door opened, she will go in and

  53. I'll say sit, sit in the cage. And as long

  54. as I kept saying sit, sit, sid, she just stays

  55. seated in the cage with the door open, even when

  56. the gate is opened. And then when I start to

  57. go out and I close the gate, then only I

  58. say come, and then she now gets out of the cage.

  59. So after a few drills, because she didn't understand it,

  60. every time I wanted her to go in the case

  61. I have to go near the cage, and then only

  62. she realized, okay, there's a signal, and then she's like,

  63. you know, she would be very playful, not one thing

  64. to go in until I maybe put some food in

  65. or whatever something like that, or I take a slipper

  66. like you better get in if not right. So, but

  67. she was she was so used to that. But then

  68. when I started to train, I say, I need to

  69. tell her to sit and stay and all that, even

  70. when I walk far away, because the moment I move

  71. away from the cage and she's in the doors that open,

  72. you follow me and like they it's time to play

  73. or something. So I did that, you know somehow, all

  74. right with with the with a good treat, You must

  75. have a good treat. If you give normal kebbles, they

  76. might not listen to you, but you know it's like

  77. me and stuff like that. Then you know, you know

  78. those special treats that we buy them. And so long

  79. story shot, it worked and then she now manages to

  80. sit and stay while I get out of the house

  81. and then close the gate. And then although I was

  82. the one doing that training, mostly my wife was. So

  83. I told her this is how you do it. You try,

  84. and then she started to know how to do that

  85. as well. And I think my kids are so able

  86. to say in sit, then I can open the gate

  87. and come in and things like that. Okay, so thank god,

  88. thank god. So now we don't it's okay, we don't

  89. have a helper, but we can release the dog and

  90. come back home. And she's never run out before. Okay.

  91. So anyway, that's my story about the dog, and so

  92. I put the picture there. Okay, right, children, you can write,

  93. you can you can draw as well. I put some pictures. Okay.

  94. It's from Jeremiah twenty seven all right, and a little

  95. bit of twenty eight to twenty nine as well. Okay,

  96. I'm gonna talk about this thing submit that all may know.

  97. Let's read from the Bible. All right, I'm gonna read

  98. verse one and two. First, yall can open your bibles

  99. to children. If you have your bibles, you know where

  100. the Book of Jeremiah is, all right, Okay, you have

  101. well digital bibles okay too. We do want to encourage

  102. that you have a physical copy of the Bible because

  103. it's very powerful to do that. You've heard some stories

  104. from Olivia. You know, it's just bringing the Bible to

  105. work and people are asking are you Christian? All right?

  106. So I was the one people to ask us that lover,

  107. you shouldn't you shouldn't be ashamed though, all right? Okay,

  108. So I want to encourage you because that itself, it's

  109. like it's a tool of evangelism, you know, people coming

  110. to know the Lord just because you have a Bible

  111. with you, okay, all right? So anyway, Jeremiah twenty seven, okay,

  112. now verse one to two, so I had it, did Okay,

  113. now I got it right. Here we go the yoke

  114. of nebuk Neza. In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah,

  115. the son of Josiah, King of Judah. This word came

  116. to Jeremiah from the Lord. Thus the Lord said to me,

  117. make yourself straps and yoke bars and put them on

  118. your neck. Okay, all right, that's the verse one and two.

  119. So what do we see here the rain of Zedekiah,

  120. all right, son of Josiah, king of Judah. The word

  121. came to Jeremiah. Okay, And what is the word that

  122. came to Jeremiah from the Lord? Make yourself distinct straps

  123. and yoke bars, and put them on your neck. You

  124. know what a yok bar is? Have you heard of

  125. that before? I don't really know what it is, so,

  126. but apparently it's this thing that you put on a

  127. cow a yoke. Right. I think Jesus did say something

  128. about my yoke is light and easy, you know, Uh,

  129. the yoke they attach on a cow or a horse

  130. or something like that. It's for the work animal to pull,

  131. and there's something that that's connected with that yoke and

  132. it's either for farming maybe or whatever it is to

  133. sort of the cow when it pulls, it's attached. Okay,

  134. So it's it's you know, when when you talk about yoke,

  135. it's a sign of like a servant or maybe a

  136. slave as well. All right, because you're working and you

  137. have someone is telling you something to do, and you're

  138. submitting to this, you know this yok So the first

  139. thing I want to tell you is this God uses

  140. teaching aids. This is really strange because God is trying

  141. to tell Jeremiah, You've got to put this thing on yourself.

  142. And yeah, so you know, God doesn't just talk, just

  143. doesn't say, Okay, now I want to tell you to

  144. do something and give you some verbal instruction, but he

  145. actually wants people to see what's going on. And so Jeremiah,

  146. where is this thing? He looks a bit strange, all right,

  147. and he needs to tell someone this message and he

  148. needs to show them something, okay, which is this yoke.

  149. I put a picture of possibly what a yogo would

  150. look like, all right, That was on Jeremiah, and I

  151. want to tell us this that God, when he wants

  152. to speak to us, and when he wants to teach

  153. us something, he actually shows as many different things and

  154. signs to actually speak to us. The Bible is one

  155. form of his message to us. But how many of

  156. you here you've also experienced many different things from God

  157. that he's actually telling you something, all right. It could

  158. be something visual that you see, all right, could be

  159. you know, from nature. Maybe some of you you've seen

  160. like a sign board, a billboard or whatever it is,

  161. and it's actually speaking to you. Right. Maybe you read

  162. something and then suddenly something jumps out at you and

  163. you just realize, this sounds like God speaking to me.

  164. Maybe someone you know that he sent to you and

  165. to verbally tell you something, okay. Or maybe it's an

  166. experience that you're going through and you know God is

  167. trying to say something to you through that experience. He's

  168. using aids to speak to you because he knows you know,

  169. we are you know, we are all. We all learn

  170. and we communicate in many different ways. You know. How

  171. many of you here you know when when you were

  172. in school and when the teacher just keeps talking, you

  173. didn't get it right. Some of you, dealer, because some

  174. of you very good at listening, because that's your way

  175. of listening of learning. But you know, I'm in the

  176. education line, and we actually do a test with our

  177. students of how they learn. Sometimes they learn by visuals

  178. and why we need to show stuff pictures and stuff

  179. like that. Sometimes when you bring in object lessons and

  180. do demonstrate. That's why science experiments, right you see, Oh

  181. now I know what the book's saying. I see the

  182. frog being opened up here, and all right, that's the

  183. part is real, okay, And so these things help us

  184. to learn. And sometimes they need to experience something, right,

  185. So same thing with us. We all need many different

  186. ways right to be to communicate, to receive communication. And

  187. that's why God let us go through stuff, see stuff,

  188. experience stuff, feel things, because then we really get the message.

  189. So how many of you here you know you're going

  190. through something, you're experiencing something. You know that you know

  191. you're maybe even family members or friends are going through something.

  192. Maybe God is actually trying to tell them something. All right,

  193. I want to encourage all of us here to have

  194. a perspective and see that because maybe you can help

  195. them interpret what they're going through all right, Like Joseph

  196. went had dreams, right, and God spoke to him through dreams.

  197. And God spoke to me through dreams many times, all right,

  198. to get married to Jill. I actually had dreams, right,

  199. So I don't know. Maybe not of you will have dreams,

  200. but different things. God speaks to us. He wants to

  201. speak to you. And so whatever you're experiencing, whatever you're

  202. going through, whatever you're seeing in life, or at this moment, asked,

  203. what is God trying to tell me? All right? And

  204. you will get a message from him, all right. If

  205. we are not interested that, surely we won't get the message.

  206. That's that's how. That's the thing about us learning and studying.

  207. If we are not interested, we won't we won't learn,

  208. won't get it. No matter how much communication is coming,

  209. we won't get it. Okay, are we all okay? Here?

  210. All right? All right, move on, move on, all right?

  211. So of course, I let's move on, all right. I

  212. wrote here. I wrote here humility. Humility is what helps

  213. us to learn. Right. If we think we know it all,

  214. we won't understand it. We won't learn anything. But we

  215. if we humble ourselves and say, okay, I don't know everything.

  216. I feel very smart, but okay, maybe I don't know

  217. every thing. So if we put that attitude on, then

  218. you will learn something. Even in it, in the simplest lesson,

  219. you can learn something new. Okay, All right, now, let's

  220. read verse four to five. Are we there's five? He says, here,

  221. give them this charge for their masters. Thus says the

  222. Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, this is what

  223. you shall say to your masters. It is I who

  224. buy my great power and my outstretched arm. Have made

  225. the earth with the men and animals that are on

  226. the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems

  227. right to me. Okay, possia for a while, This very

  228. powerful verses here, because God is saying something about himself. Here.

  229. What is he saying? It is I who buy my

  230. great power. He's trying. He's telling us if you never

  231. knew God had great power, He's telling us here that

  232. I have great power. It is by my great power

  233. and my outstretched arms. His arm is not short. He

  234. has outstretched arm. He can reach. He can reach whatever

  235. it is that you can't reach. Okay, and what does

  236. he say? Some more? He made the He made everything.

  237. He said, he made everything earth man, animals, all right,

  238. And like this last part here is also another thing

  239. he's saying, I give it to whoever it seems right

  240. to me. Okay, what does this mean here? Sometimes we

  241. see you know, there are leaders, there are people in charge,

  242. but he's saying, no, no, no, no, no, they're actually

  243. not in charge. I put them there, even the silliest,

  244. the most evil person that you see leading. Right. You

  245. don't like that person, you don't like him or her,

  246. But it's go who allowed this person to be there?

  247. And you're going like what? But you know we are

  248. not so wise. God is wise and he knows what

  249. he's doing. He knows that we need this person there

  250. to annoy us. Maybe why because maybe there's something we

  251. have a problem with and we need to learn something. Right,

  252. how about we reversing? How about you going Ledna instead?

  253. You don't like this person, you think, Jashla, are you

  254. going to do better? Ah? Then after that you understand, Okay,

  255. I understand why this person is like that, because then

  256. then he or she can leader? All right? And God

  257. allowed it. God put the person there in charge. Okay,

  258. so uh we will see someone now I'm going to Yeah,

  259. my point here is this. God is the creator and

  260. he's the master planner. He is creator and he's the

  261. master planner. So no matter what we're going through, we

  262. question it, we doubt. But now the truth of the

  263. word of God tells us that he says that I

  264. am I have great power. I've outstretched Hey, don't look

  265. down on me. It's trying to say, I do have

  266. great power and I am in charge. Don't don't make

  267. don't don't look down on me. God is saying I

  268. am in charge. I put them wherever I want them

  269. to be. All right, yeah, correct, judge, Right, okay, now

  270. we move on verse six to seven. Let me read that.

  271. Now I have given all these lands into the hand off?

  272. Who into the handoff? Nebu Kanza or you don't know

  273. how to say the name? Is it? Nebo Canza? All right?

  274. What does uh? What does vegetails call him? Nazar? Nazar?

  275. Nazarniser Nazar? Okay, all right, anyway, the king of Babylon,

  276. my servant, Oh my, have you did you hear that?

  277. God called this guy who's not a believer, who is

  278. I think, not such a good guy? God calls him what,

  279. my servant? Can you imagine that all right, this leader.

  280. Can you imagine all the political leaders that you don't like?

  281. And God says, my servant, what does that mean? Right?

  282. Didn't this guy kill someone? Didn't this guy you know,

  283. do some horrible act? Took some money, my servant? It

  284. boggles our minds. But God makes whoever to be his servant. Right,

  285. and you might be one of those as well. That

  286. you're you don't know that God is actually using you, right,

  287. God is using God uses can use anyone and everyone,

  288. even if we don't want to be used. That's a fact.

  289. So even if you're evil, God can use you for

  290. his plan. Okay, So might as well be intentional about it.

  291. And Mirus you're saying, okay, use me, I use me properly,

  292. Use me properly the way I should be used and

  293. not I thought I was, you know, I was in

  294. charge and everything. But actually use this for his plan

  295. anyway he's in charge. Okay, So let's let's let's go

  296. to the master planner and say, God, actually, what how

  297. you want me? How you want to use me? Is

  298. there a good way you can use me? Okay? So

  299. this is quite interesting, right, God calling this guy my servant,

  300. and I have given him also the beasts of the

  301. field to serve him. God is giving him so many,

  302. so much power. Okay, all the nations shall serve him. Wow,

  303. all the nations at the time, you know, it was

  304. just there a they didn't know, you know, other lands.

  305. But at that moment, whoever there was around, they knew

  306. that was all and all the nations shall serve and

  307. not only he says, he and his son, his son, okay,

  308. his son and his grandson generations. How is this fair? Right?

  309. God giving power to this guy who is really actually

  310. you know some people call him as evil, and then

  311. give his son someone and his grandson samore and we

  312. all go like, what God, are you there? Does God exists? Right?

  313. That's why you know people question because they don't know

  314. the master planner. He has a plan. Now, well we

  315. until well, okay, until the grandson, until the time of

  316. his own land comes. Then many nations and great kings

  317. shall make him their slave. Ah. This is where we

  318. see and we realize God has a plan. He may

  319. allow this person to rule, and then the son and

  320. the grandson, but finally I will still punish him because

  321. he actually doesn't know what he's doing. All right, I'm

  322. using him to teach some people a lesson, and then

  323. after that I will punish him as well because he's

  324. actually an evil guy, right, because he says at the end, right,

  325. he says, then many nations and great kings shall make

  326. him their slave. All right, everyone, okay, getting something here? Yeah,

  327. So don't be in a you know, thinking, you know,

  328. God is using me mightily and things like that. But

  329. does he approve of it? That's very important. God can

  330. use anyone. God can use you know, a good person,

  331. a bad person. But then actually the most important is

  332. in the end, does he approve of it? Because if

  333. you're being used by him and then you're you you

  334. think you're you're doing all the good stuff, but actually

  335. you're you're, you're hurting people, you're you know, causing problems,

  336. then God is gonna punish you because that's what happens

  337. to neb all right, So check our hearts in this,

  338. check our lives. Let's be used by God. Definitely, let

  339. God use you, right, say, God use me, but then

  340. make sure let's let's do it in a way that

  341. approve that He approves, off, that pleases him. Amen by

  342. his word, by his truth, by his Holy Spirit. Okay,

  343. I'm gonna read on right now, verse eight to eleven.

  344. But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this

  345. nebucadness a King of Babylon and put its neck under

  346. the yoke of the King of Babylon, I will punish

  347. that nation with the sword, with famine and with pestilence,

  348. declares the Lord, until I have consumed it by his hand.

  349. So do not listen to your prophets or your diviners,

  350. your dreamers, your fortune tellers, or your sorceress who are

  351. saying to you you shall not serve the King of Babylon.

  352. For it is a lie that they are prophesying to you,

  353. with the rest out that you will be removed far

  354. from your land, and I will drive you out and

  355. you will perish. But any nation that will bring its

  356. neck under the yoke of the King of Babylon and

  357. serve him, I will leave on its own land to

  358. work it and dwell the declass the Lord. Right. So

  359. were there were profit prophets at that time trying to

  360. say nice things like, oh, no, you won't be suffer

  361. under the king. You know you will be okay here,

  362. don't believe these people. We fight, We fight we go

  363. against whatever is happening. But Jeremiah is the one who

  364. is getting the word of the Lord. And Jeremiah is saying, no, no, no,

  365. you're gonna You're gonna go under the King of Babylon.

  366. And God wants you to go through that, right, and

  367. this this guy is called his servant at this time

  368. at least, right, So you've got to submit. You got

  369. to submit. So that's the word. I mean, let's be

  370. clear of what God is saying and what God is,

  371. how God is leading us. And if that's the thing

  372. that we need to submit to, even if we don't

  373. like it, we just got to do it because it's

  374. very I mean, we all want nice things. We all

  375. want someone to tell us, oh, no, you're not going

  376. to suffer. Everything's gonna be all right with you. You're

  377. going to prosper, everything is gonna be you're gonna be rich.

  378. You know, you're not going to go through any pain

  379. and suffering. Yeah, we all like to hear that. But

  380. is that the truth? And if the truth is that

  381. we do need to submit under a person or you know, government,

  382. or a group or even a church, right that you

  383. don't feel so comfortable sometimes, right because the leaders challenge

  384. you too much and say come, serve, come, do this, come,

  385. do that, come, you know, and you don't like that,

  386. but that if God is telling you to submit, that

  387. we got to otherwise. Right, there's the there's the opposite

  388. of it, which was, you know, the warning is that

  389. those who don't, they're gonna you're gonna suffer even more,

  390. you know, die by the sword and things like that.

  391. That's what it said here. So I want to challenge

  392. all of us here, all right, who is the prophet

  393. in your life? Who is the person telling speaking God's

  394. truth in your life? Listen to him or her because

  395. we're moving into a time of discipleship a little bit

  396. more right in twenty twenty five. Right, the theme that

  397. we're gonna speak on is discipleship, and so make sure

  398. you follow the right person, all right, and then that

  399. person is gonna challenge you, all right, not like thank God, Okay,

  400. I pray not. You won't get any to lead you,

  401. all right, But whoever God leads you to, all right, submit, submit,

  402. and don't fight it. Submit under the yoke. And then

  403. I'll go on somewhere because God has a hope and

  404. a future for all of us He's got good things

  405. planned for all of us. All right, now we move

  406. on everyone doing all right here, we've got to try

  407. and end quicker children thinking notes. Still, okay, right, all

  408. right now, I'm just gonna talk a little bit about

  409. So in verse twelve to twenty two, Jeremiah goes and

  410. tells the king and the Priessa all these things that

  411. God told him to and he warns them, you know

  412. that some of these prophets are gonna lie to you

  413. and tell you all these sweet things and you're not

  414. gonna suffer and things like that. Let's fight them. But

  415. then Jeremih said, no, don't believe them. You will need

  416. to come under the king of Babylon, and at least

  417. for a few years. I think it was at least

  418. seventy years forty to be said with you, I think right. Anyway,

  419. then what happened was in chapter twenty eight. I'm just

  420. gonna do a quick, you know, summary of chapter twenty

  421. eight if you read it. There's this guy called Hannah

  422. and Aya, who is I think one of the well

  423. he calls himself one of the prophets as well, and

  424. he goes and says, no, Jeremiah, you're lying, says, and no,

  425. the truth is, you know, we are going to be okay,

  426. and we can fight and so and then he traumatizes

  427. it by breaking the yoke that Jeremiah was wearing. He said, ah, see,

  428. all right, and God is going to deliver us. He

  429. tells all these things, but he did not hear from God.

  430. So be very careful with whoever that they says they're

  431. hearing from God, all right, and you can see by

  432. their lives whether they actually follow God or not. Right,

  433. So what happened was then Jeremiah, you know, God told

  434. Jeremiah one more thing, saying that, hey, go tell hen

  435. Andaya you know about the lies that he's talking about,

  436. and tell him he's actually going to die. And so

  437. Jeremiah goes and tells him. And then at the end

  438. of chapter twenty eight you can see if you're still there,

  439. and of chapter twenty eight, right verse seventeen. Right in

  440. the same year, what does it say, in the seventh

  441. month the prophet hend and Aya anyone there died, so

  442. the word of God will come true? All right? Yeah,

  443. in the same year, in the seventh month, okay, all right?

  444. And then and then now we move on to chapter

  445. twenty nine. Of course, you know the thing now starts

  446. to happen. You know they're going, yeah, they're yeah, being

  447. exiled right now to Babylon and chapter twenty nine. What

  448. does it say? I want to read from verse five

  449. to seven. This is what God says, all right, to

  450. help his people prepare to be under this king. See O.

  451. God wants to discipline his people. That's why he put

  452. Nebukanza in charge, all right, But he doesn't leave them

  453. to suffer and say like, ah, now learn your lesson.

  454. You know, he doesn't do that to them. He's so merciful,

  455. he's so gracious. He still loves them, and he gives

  456. them instructions of how to go through this pain. All right?

  457. What does it say here verse five to seven, let's

  458. go way? It is build houses and live in them. Why?

  459. How difficult can you do? Is that? Living in them? Lah?

  460. All right? He didn't tell you to go for a walk,

  461. dig a tunnel and go underground. Why he didn't say

  462. all that? It just build houses and live in them.

  463. That's what we're all doing, isn't it. You didn't build

  464. your houses that. You didn't build your house, right, you

  465. just rented it. Live in it right. In a way,

  466. it's trying to say, don't complain, don't be so angry,

  467. live in your house, cook, eat food, sleep well, all right,

  468. that's what he's saying. Here, plant gardens and eat their produce,

  469. plant gardens. Don't be so angry with the lids that

  470. there's a bad place. I don't want to do anything.

  471. I don't want to I don't want to plan anything.

  472. You know, I'm just gonna staff. Right. Let's say, say

  473. eat the produce. Take wives. Ah, those who are not married,

  474. say get married, okay, and have children, sons and daughters.

  475. Take wives for your sons. Make sure your sons get

  476. because you've got to be here for a long time.

  477. You've gotta be here for a long time. So this

  478. is what you should do. Because if you don't know

  479. what to do, don't just stay at the screen. Don't

  480. just have screen time, all all right, to live and

  481. do it well, all right, make sure your sons get married,

  482. Give your daughters in marriage that they may bear sons

  483. and daughters, have children, have grandchildren. Multiply. There. I think

  484. that God is trying to say among themselves, are not

  485. with the baby onions? Okay, And he says he multiply

  486. and do not decrease. Don't give up, because the thing

  487. about them, when they get excelled, they feel like they're prisoners.

  488. They feel like, you know, I'm not part of this

  489. is different culture here. I'm just gonna you know, wine here.

  490. I'm just gonna get depressed here, you know, and I'm

  491. not gonna have I'm not going to live my life.

  492. I'm just gonna let my generation die off here. What for?

  493. This land is not my place, it's not my home. Right,

  494. you can go that way, but God is saying no,

  495. don't do that. It's okay. Get up, live your life,

  496. build your houses, live in and plant gardens. Eat, make

  497. sure you're healthy, take care of yourself. Right, be happy,

  498. even if you're in an alien land. Be happy. And

  499. many of you here, you're not in your home land. Right.

  500. Sometimes you might want to complain and things like that,

  501. So all right, but you can do the same thing here,

  502. all right, because you might be here for a long time,

  503. and it's okay. Be a blessing to the land, even

  504. if you don't like it. You go like you want

  505. to curse it, right, if you want to curse the land,

  506. But but you're living here. Right, better bless it because

  507. through blessing it you will be blessed. Right, you're going

  508. to destroy the land here then you're living on it.

  509. You just destroy your own place. Okay. So anyway, what

  510. else they say here? But seek the welfare all right? Sorry,

  511. always says yeah, right, seek the welfare of the city

  512. where I have sent you into exile. And pray to

  513. the Lord on his behalf. Pray for the land. That's

  514. why pray for Malaysia. And I like it. You know.

  515. Sometimes our our chairperson they all from different countries, but

  516. they pray from Malaysia. They bless Malaysia, okay, because that's

  517. what the word of God here tells us to do. Right.

  518. It is their home as well, and says here, pray

  519. to the Lord. It's behalf for in its welfare. You

  520. will find your welfare when you bless the land. When

  521. you take care of it, it comes back to you

  522. and it blesses you as well, all right, harlen lujah.

  523. And then finally is there a point there? But there's

  524. no point there? Okay. Yeah, God's plan for us is good. Okay,

  525. let me finish reading ten ten to eleven. For thus

  526. says the Lord for Thus says the Lord, when seventy

  527. years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and

  528. I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you

  529. back to this place. God promised that I will bring

  530. you back. You know, for I know the plans is

  531. where the famous verse comes from. For I know the

  532. plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans for

  533. good or welfare, and not for evil, to give you

  534. a future and hope. So God, like I said, he

  535. didn't just leave them to suffer on their own for

  536. many years. He gave them instructions of how you're going

  537. to go through this, and he does that all the time,

  538. even for us here, how you're going to survive your university. Right,

  539. thank you for coming to church. Then you hear God's plan.

  540. And at homes and at through huddles, you know, through

  541. your leaders, they encourage you, they tell you how you

  542. can go through it. And sometimes I love when, you know,

  543. when when our campus students who have gone through life,

  544. you know, they've gone through assignments, they've gone through exams,

  545. and they come up here and they say, you know,

  546. I had a lot of exams to prepare for, but

  547. I continue to serve God, and I continue to come

  548. to church anyway. I didn't skip, I didn't miss, and

  549. God helped me anyway, and I scored for my exams.

  550. So this is stories, all right. They're telling you of

  551. how God worked in their lives. And I believe that's

  552. how God speaks to us through those who have gone ahead. Okay,

  553. and so and what I'm trying to say here is

  554. God his plan for us is so good, and he

  555. wants to tell us. He wants to instruct us and

  556. continue to guide us how to go through our difficulty. Amen,

  557. maybe our worship team can come up. Ready, we're going

  558. to close. Remember, he says, he seek the welfare of

  559. the city. Pray for Pray for the place that you

  560. are at right now. Pray for the church you're part of.

  561. And that's why we pray for church every morning, right

  562. for you know, all the different ones in the different

  563. plants as well. And be a blessing. Be a blessing

  564. where you are, Be a blessing in the church, all right.

  565. Don't just come and pick off the produce. You get it.

  566. It says plant gardens. You should be planting gardens, not

  567. taking the stuff from the garden. Only all right, you

  568. know what the difference is, right, consumers and then those

  569. who actually help out and contribute. All right, be a contributor.

  570. Some of you are new to church, it's fine, okay, Okay,

  571. no condemnation whatever. You're new to church, right, it's okay.

  572. But eventually we welcome you and want to invite you

  573. to contribute and serve and be part of the family. Okay, Family,

  574. we help each other out, right, Family, I wash the dishes.

  575. I don't just put it there. Because we go to

  576. a guest house, they will say, no, gonna just leave

  577. the dishes there. We will clean it for you. But family,

  578. if you're you know your family members leave the dishes

  579. there for you, you're scolding, like wash your dishes? Life? So family, right,

  580. we want to be family here. So we contribute and

  581. we put in our contribution together to serve God, and

  582. ultimately we are part of God's family. Amen, hallelujah. Let's

  583. all be used by God, because you're going to be

  584. used by God anyway, but let's be used by God

  585. for his good for good. Amen.

  586. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
