Now there are two verses where the word examples has

been mentioned.

One in verse six, and the other in verse eleven.

Verse six. Again, now these things became our examples.

To the intent that we should not last after evil things,

as they also lasted verse eleven. Now all these things

happened to them as examples. Okay, listen, everything that has

happened in the Bible up to that stage. Listen everything

from Genesis to First Corinthines eleven.

Every single thing.

Has happened for our example. That's what the Bible is saying.

That's what Paul is saying. Everything for what example. So

if you want to give a summary to the Bible,

the Bible is an example for all of us to

live by everybody.

Okay, it is an example.

Now if the Bible and everything in it is an

example that should give us.

Some information and instruction.

About how we should live our lives and how should

we live our lives as examples, this I pray before

we end today will become your new mission statement, because

everybody in this room may have a different mission statement.

You know.

Or I live to make money, or I live to

give money, or I live for my children. Oh I

live for my husband, I live for my wife, or

I live to do this, to do that. But in

all that, underlining everything else you just said or you

have in your mind, it is this purpose, the purpose

of all purpose, The purpose of all purpose, The mission

of all mission is to be an example.

That means, even as you love your wife, love her.

With an examples to others, so that others might know

how to love your spouse. When you're working, when you're studying,

when you're doing your DBA, you might say, the purpose

of be doing my DBA is so that I can

be more helpful maybe in this particular area of study.

Or I can help the government because I have studied,

I've done the research, so I can be better. I

can help maybe with the education system. But in all that,

in all that, the underlying mission and purpose is still

to be an example.

Why you'll do it?

Because just to get the PhD and becall a doctor

so and so at the end of the day is

one thing. But how did you do it, and what

do you do it for? And what was your inspiration

and what was your motivation? Is even more important for

others to know.

Are you with me?

Is more important that people see your example and are

inspired by the way you live and want to live

in the same way or not, because you can also

be a bad example.

Example? Why are the kids doing this example to other kids?

Why are you serving the Lord? Example?

Why do you wake up so early in the morning

to do you or a quiet time? Example? Why are

you living your life your wife like that? You know

I'm telling you right now. Why do you eat like

this and go on.

A diet and try to lose ladies and gentlemen? Is

not just, you know, a selfish purpose. Why do you

sleep so early on Saturday night because you want to

wake up early on Sunda Sunday morning to give got

your best. You know, when I was younger, I used

to watch football until about three o'clock in the morning,

especially when my favorite team is playing. I watch it

and then I'm not giving my best on Sunday morning

because you know, I'm still drowsy.

But but today I've decided not to watch.

As an example everything I do and sometimes it's very

hard to actually make a decision in life, very hard.

Why do you do this? Why should I do that?

this and that? But when you think about example, as

you're driving force, yes, actually Jesus should be your driving force. Yes,

actually the Holy Spirit should be your driving force. Yes,

actually the love for God has got to be your

driving force. But just listen to my heart as I

share about God looking and searching for examples.

and true worship is always giving God your best. Abraham

to that as as example. We preach it Amen, that

was right is right, what is wrong is wrong.

And she became who she was meant to be.

Daniel, oh, you know all the pressures that came his way,

even the lions. Then we tell those stories. Why example,

Jesus himself the best example, the best. He came to

serve and not to be served. Remember powerful words, Jesus said,

I came to serve, not to be served. There is

leadership problems in this world is when a leader can

be a servant. A servant leader who doesn't think about

will seize the day. It really begins in the morning.

And a lot of people don't understand that. But when

you read even in the seconder world, the top top

business people actually wake up by five. Billionaires wake up

by four. It's crazy, but they have a mindset. It's

very different. Athletes.

Top athletes wake up early, and.

Those of us who are sons and daughters of God

God seize the morning, take it over.

Don't let the morning take over you. Oh so nice?

Actually marriages are really it's God's idea Number one. It's

meant to be powerful. One puts a flight A thousand

have been married for twenty nine years. We are into

our thirtieth year. Right next September is thirty years. By

the grace of God, Praise the Lord. It's all been easy,

I confess to you right now, and I'd be way

open and transparent with you. It's all been easy because

Passendra is like a woman version of Kenneth.

And maybe more if I was ever ever ready that tree.

She's definitely energizer. Okay, so she's me times two or three.

But that is tough because for twenty nine years now,

sometimes you don't have a wife, and we talked about this,

so I'll be very open with you.

We talked about this before.

I said, say call her sometimes, said said, when i'm

i'll be upset with her. And I'm not upset with that,

said dear see her, but where I say saying she

know how you don't know what Mondays are? Is Monday?

We do a date. It's Monday, and listen Monday. Huh,

you can use that when you get married.

Okay, because both of us that Monday is our day off.

I've got to guard my marriage. I've got to and

invest in it. Because you look at see Sunday. Ninety

percent of the time we're not together. Ninety percent of

time I'm preaching here, she's preaching there. Almost ninety percent

of the Sundays we're not. There's a calling on our lives.

God has called us, and we continue to serve. We

tell ourselves. Sometimes in heaven we get a lot of

time to rest. But that also is not a good excuse,

because in heaven we won't be married anymore.

In heaven, she won't be my wife, I won't be hurt.

We'll be brothers and sisters in Christ.

You understand, right, So we're married here on earth is

very special. We've got to guard it was. It's all

that called example because not just for me and her,

is for many others who may have the same conditions

and situation that many men and women of God who's

serving like that. I'm not the only one God your Monday. Therefore,

at least investing to each other one day a week,

You know what good will you do to the testimony

that I've built for the last thirty five years?

So you wake up in the morning, you go like,

what is my life for to be an example? You

go to sleep at night, what was my life for today?

Example? And have I been a good example? Everybody? Okay?

They tell me about marriages, needing examples. They talk the talk,

They talk about parents being examples parents. There are a

lot of other parents watching you, needing see I don't

I wanted this to be a pressure that you walk

out here and you say, wow, I have got to

be an example, and now the stress is on. No,

actually it's a blessing. People are actually watching your live

because they want to know he's not pressuring you. They

want to know how is it done? Past the Jack,

how's it done?

Olivia? How's it done? Andrew? How's it done? Paul? How's

it done? How is it done?

As parents? Because I don't know. I can read books,

but I want to see alife. You see with God,

He's never just into books. He didn't just throw down

the Bible and create the Christianity. He said his son,

It's always been about people showing the way. Always been

about people showing the way, not just a book. Go

read this, go check out this website. If that's all

you have, then that's what you have because people, it's

people show up and men show up and began to

show what it is that is Kingdom way, not world's way.

Amen, the Holy Spirit will teach us.

You know, if you really are wanting to be an example,

the Holy Spirit will teach you children. You know why

God gave you one child. He wants you to be

an example of how raising one.

Child looks like. Because I tell you what, when I

travel around Malaysia. I find this.

Can I be very honest with you, all across Malaysia

and maybe even the world, are young families now are

given the permission, even if it's not verbal, it's a

permission that as soon as you get your first child,

you can stop serving the church because the pastor understands

how difficult it is to handle a baby and is

still come. But I tell you what's a real problem,

because now we want to raise up a whole group

or if I'm gonna be calling on you as well,

and for sure you as well. Because ninety nine percent

of the young families in ex church serves Jesus. I

want to say a hundred, but I just want to

be humble because maybe there's one percent who's not.

I don't know.

But as far as I go to all our church plans,

our young families have no excuse because they've seen examples

of how it can be done. Amen. So I don't

blame the churches around the country when they say I

leave them alone, lie, you know, because you don't understand. Persecond,

you don't understand, and then and then I tell them,

nineteen nine percent of our young families are serving the Lord.

Sometimes with both parents up on stage. What Yeah, this

is heaven on earth and they must get encouraged. You see,

it's not for pride, it's not for arrogance. I want

to encourage the churches that it can be done. So

I don't blame the churches because they don't have examples.

Because the first one took off from the schedule and

from the privileged roster. We don't call it duty roster,

a year, privileged roster because of privilege to.

Serve the Lord.

It took off three months first of all, then six months,

then one year, than two years, and then by the

second year you got the second child. So now all

over again, as they were coming back to serve on

the guitar. Oh now, God, my second child. Never mind,

even worse, Actually not even better, they say, even worse

with two children. Now you can't do it. Who is

telling you the limits? Who is putting a cap over

your head? God is a god who breaks through ceilings.

You look at the ceiling. All that's all I can do. No,

that's not all you can do. And if you live

a life like that, you go from one church plant

to two, to twenty to fifty five. Now around the world,

you go from one country to eleven countries because you don't.

Limits that are put on you by man or even

by your own mind cannot be done. Who said so?

So sometimes even if you have you don't have examples.

You be the example. I'm gonna try it. I told

my wife before, many years ago, if I had a

baby and I had to preach her and there was

no one else will take care, I will.

Let God be the one who judge and tell us.

But if God doesn't say no, don't let the world

you can still serve no excuse and your children will

grow up in the fear and love of God. Just continue,

Because the early bird does still catch the world.

And I'm saying that to mean that there are blessings

to find, they are breakthroughs to discover if you would

just wake up a little bit earlier. Stop giving excuses

for being late. I'm telling you very few people are

late for movies. You even so early. You are watching

My wife continued to rise and rise and rise, became

are an example at least asked that your bosses cannot.

or not, whether we like it or not. We are

either examples that it can be done. All we are

examples that he can't be done. Can I really do

it with three kids?

more excuses. I'm alive so that I can do great exploits.

They that know their God shall be strong strong. I

upon your families, upon your children. May your children. May

our children grow up in the fear of the Lord

and in the love of Jesus. May they become even

better than us. But they need examples. I say they

need examples. I say they need examples. Our young people

need a hero. They need somebody who will take that

step of faith and have courage and show that it

can be done. With God, all things are possible.

born for such a time as this. I know that

there's so much more. I did not retire just to

do gardening. I did not retire just to sleep in

given me life, and life is a gift from God.

And I want to live every day to inspire somebody.

I want to live every day to inspire somebody to

live their best life for God. Lift up your hands

one more time and say, Lord, it is me. I

stand before you now. Then I ask, oh Lord, that

you will cause your Holy Spirit to just fall afresh

on every single person here. Holy spin fall afresh on
