You're listening to a message to go from X Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
Alignment, assignment and accountability. These three a's are very important.
-
I've been meditating it since when we received this message
-
from the leaders of the church who has been out
-
to the X Global s Pure Vision Retreat and they
-
have downloaded from God and yeah passa Jack said about
-
doing teach last Sunday today, I felt like that, Yeah,
-
Holy spirits like yeah, speak these three as. I'm like, Okay, God,
-
let's go. Alignment, assignment and accountability. Yes, And just to
-
share with us these messages coming towards the coming twenty
-
twenty six is very important because in the month of
-
December and January, the speakers for all around X Church
-
plans we will be unpacking God's vision and mission of
-
the church. So you want to have our hearts ready
-
for December's messages.
-
Okay.
-
So if you're looking for a church and you're wondering
-
who is this X Church, you can come and visit
-
us right or you are looking for a church to
-
belong to. This is a place where we're going to
-
unpack God's vision for EX Church from December and January. Okay,
-
so yeah, okay, it's exciting and we are going to
-
do great with God's leading.
-
Amen. Okay.
-
So, alignment, assignment and accountability the main scripture for today.
-
If kids, you are writing notes, you can write these scriptures, right,
-
Luke chapter twenty four to thirty six. Sorry, Luke, chapter
-
twenty four, verse thirty six to forty nine.
-
Matthew Chapter twenty five, fourteen.
-
To thirty All right, So the main scripture from Luke
-
is the continuation from two weeks ago where the two
-
disciples were on their way on the road to a
-
mis Okay, and they came back on the road to
-
as and they came back Okay. So now continuation of
-
that story where the two disciples were so excited they
-
were telling the disciples in Jerusalem about Hey, I met Jesus,
-
I met Jesus, I met Jesus. Right, They're so excited
-
their faces were glooming. They're like glowings or glooming glowing. Okay,
-
And we shall read from verse thirty six from the
-
Yeah from Luke chapter twenty four. You know switch to Yeah,
-
do you know how to switch to the Bible? Yeah?
-
Okay, right, if you can switch to the scriptures will be.
-
Good because yeah, for those of us who have your Bible,
-
you can turn to Luke chapter twenty four vers.
-
Thirty six.
-
If you're there, say yay, so fast, very good, very good.
-
Yeah Luke chapter.
-
Twenty four, verse thirty six. Okay, okay, okay, I shall
-
read first.
-
Ah.
-
Luke Chapter twenty four, Verse thirty six says, now as
-
they say these things, okay, so know that the two
-
disciples are so excited. So imagine they are so excited
-
they are sharing these things to the disciples.
-
Okay, then come verse thirty six.
-
Now as they say these things, Jesus himself stood in
-
the midst of them and said to them, peace to you.
-
But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had
-
seen a spirit. And he said to them, why are
-
you troubled? And why do you doubts? Why do doubts
-
arise in your hearts? Yes, okay, right, I love Jesus
-
so much. I love love Jesus, I love the Lord Jesus.
-
He is so so amazing. In the midst of their
-
trouble minds, they were so afraid of the Jews. But yeah,
-
there's these two disciples were so excited and Jesus suddenly appear.
-
And you know, and the first word that Jesus said
-
to them was peace to you, right, Peace to you. Right.
-
The disciples were actually afraid of the Jews. So because
-
they were in Jerusalem, right, the Jews were actually very
-
afraid of the Jews. And they were gathering together in
-
a room. Okay, in Jerusalem.
-
The disciples, hearts were trouble and doubtful. Okay.
-
Then suddenly Jesus appeared, like suddenly, suddenly somebody appeared without
-
any noise.
-
Right, you'll be like, oh, what's that? Like a ghost?
-
Right? But hey, you know, Jesus said to you, it's amazing.
-
You know.
-
Despite the disciples, the disciples had actually actually deserted Jesus
-
in his suffering, Peter denied him, and Jesus he appeared
-
before them without quarreling, without reprimmmanding. Imagine, right, if my
-
children did something wrong and silently I appear before them,
-
they will be trembling because mommy or Daddy would be reprimanding.
-
But hey, Jesus didn't do that. Hey, Jesus came to
-
bring peace. He didn't dealt with his disciples or what
-
they deserve. Thank you, Jesus for your mercy. Wow, this
-
is the God. This is the same God we are
-
serving and worshiping. Here is a mercyful god. He is
-
so I don't know. He's amazing, right, he is the
-
Prince of peace. He came and he said peace to you.
-
He came peaceably to signify to them that he had
-
forgiven them and was reconciled to them.
-
Wow.
-
Why why he didn't Why Jesus didn't like discipline, But
-
Jesus brought peace instead because he knows their hearts. He
-
knows their hearts, that their hearts were troubled and doubtful.
-
But hey, I just felt that. You know, the Holy
-
Spirit wants me to declare peace to you. If you're
-
going through a tough situation. Right now, Peace to you.
-
The Lord Jesus Christ declares peace to you, Charlom. He
-
is the Prince of peace and the Lord of lords.
-
Peace to you, a man. All right, let's continue on,
-
Luke Chapter twenty four, US thirty nine. Right, behold my hands,
-
Jesus is saying this. Behold my hands. Okay, behold my
-
hands and my feet. That it is I myself, Jesus says,
-
handle me and see for a spirit does not have
-
flesh and bones, as you see.
-
I have Verse forty.
-
When Jesus had said this, he showed them his hands
-
and his feet. Right. Wow, okay, so Jesus is revealing
-
his physical body.
-
Right, I'm not a ghost. You come and touch. Come,
-
come touch, touch It's okay, Come touch my hands. I'm
-
I'm yeah. Come and see. Right.
-
And he showed his physical and resurrected body with the
-
wounds on it. And you know what, Jesus is not
-
a shame of his wounds. He is not a cow.
-
He's displaying it this playing for everybody. See, come and
-
see my wounds, Come and see my hands. He wasn't
-
ashamed of his wounds. It is remarkable to consider that
-
the resurrection body of Jesus retains the wounds he received
-
in his sufferings and crucifixion. There are many possible reasons
-
why Jesus want to reveal his wounds to all of us,
-
to the world.
-
In fact, number one is to exhibit the war.
-
Is to exhibit the wounds to the disciples, that they
-
would know that it was the very same Jesus who
-
died on the cross and now resurrected.
-
Imagine his wounds was covered.
-
How do I what approves that this is the same
-
Jesus that died on the cross. Right, So he's saying,
-
I am the same Jesus that died on the cross,
-
and I am now resurrected.
-
This is not a different body. It is the same body.
-
Okay, it's showing to his disciples, I am the same person.
-
Right. Secondly, he shows his wounds to be.
-
Ornaments of honor and trophies of his great work for us. Amen, hallelujah. Right,
-
you can see that trophy there. His wounds are like
-
trophies ornaments. Okay, Below the trophy, it's a bit hard
-
to see. They are the how do you say honorable badges?
-
Okay on the soldier. I remember last time I was
-
a girl guy. You know any one of us were
-
girl guys scouts, Yeah, if you remember, right, we were like, yeah,
-
doing different different tests to gain our badges, Like yeah,
-
we have to do many log books I remember, like portfolios,
-
and if you're a queen guy, then you have like
-
do you have to do like so many others and
-
also do many practical tests as well, like you know,
-
tine knobs and first aid and yeah, different things okay, right,
-
as you remember, and every time we finish a test,
-
we get a badge that we can stick it on
-
our uniform and we are so proud of them.
-
The queen guys will have a fashion of badgers, right
-
and pins and.
-
War you know, display, sorry, display for everyone to see.
-
Right.
-
Similarly, Jesus's wounds are his honorable ornaments, right, and also
-
his wounds are there to memmoralize the weapon.
-
With which he defeated death.
-
So his wounds is so important to remind us that
-
he has actually conquered since Satan and death.
-
Right, his wounds serve.
-
As advocates in his perpetual intercession for us. His wounds
-
are there to remind even all of us that God
-
the Father sees his wounds and he remembers the sacrifice
-
that covers the sin of all of us. Amazing, right,
-
his wounds is so important, and his wounds is there
-
to preserve the evidence of humanity's crime against him.
-
Wow, Wow, his wounds.
-
Is there to preserve the evidence of humanity's crime against him.
-
He don't take his wounds and say it's because of
-
this I have to punish.
-
You and everybody goes to hell.
-
No, his wounds is there to show that, yes, humans
-
had had a crime on him, but he chose to
-
forgive so powerful. This is a powerful message for all
-
of us to be reminded again. And if you are here,
-
sitting amongst us here and you're listening to this, about
-
who this lord Jesus Christ.
-
Is, he loves you. He loves you.
-
With all of his heart. He laid down his life
-
for you and me. And he is saying that, hey,
-
I have forgiven you right and I love you very much.
-
His wounds are there. Okay, it's very important. Okay, let's
-
continue on Luke chapter twenty four, verse forty one. But
-
while they still did not believe, for joy and marvel,
-
he said to them, have you any food here? You know,
-
this verse really got me thinking that the disciples were
-
so happy. The disciples were so happy that this is Jesus,
-
the real Jesus, that that on the cross, and now
-
it's appearing before us and he invites us to touch
-
his hands.
-
Right.
-
The disciples was so happy and so surprised that they
-
couldn't believe it was real. Have you ever hear news
-
of something so too good to be true?
-
Yes? Yes, yes, too good to be true like super sail,
-
too good to be true? Okay, like wow.
-
You know, or suddenly something something happened, or yeah, your
-
children suddenly became the class monitor. My son, my husband
-
didn't believe it, like, have to go ahead, chat with
-
the teacher, I really.
-
Know, Are you sure too good to be true? Right?
-
And he yes? So that's another story for another day.
-
Right.
-
So, so the disciples was so happy, so surprised that
-
they couldn't believe it was real. And sometimes we feel
-
that way too, Right, something seems too good to be true.
-
But God wants us to really think and understand why.
-
We believe, so not just believe without thinking.
-
Right, Jesus wanted all of us as disciples, right to
-
stop to think and to truly believe in our hearts. Right,
-
it's not wrong to ah, it's not wrong to believe
-
without seeing. Even Jesus says that blessed are those who
-
believe without seeing. Right, but not about realizing it in
-
our hearts and also our minds, like it has to connect.
-
Right.
-
Then a great joy like a tide swept over them,
-
and they could not believe it. They were so glad.
-
Do not forget that joy can hinder faith, Okay, joy
-
can hinder faith. This is I don't know new to
-
some of us. Rather, it's it's it's it's it's to
-
me as well. Joy can hinder faith, right, we celebrate
-
joy so much, yes, but hey, some good to be
-
true sometimes can hinder us from believing. Right, Be careful,
-
be careful. Joy can hinder faith. It may be as
-
great as an enemy to faith as sorrow sometimes is okay.
-
So yeah, let's just believe. I love how Adel sang
-
the song. Just now, just believe, right, no matter how
-
happy you are, no matter how sad you are, just believe.
-
And thank you Casey for that very amazing testimony that
-
shows that.
-
Yeah, she just believed anyway and moved on. Very good.
-
Yes, okay, let's continue verse forty two of Luke, chapter
-
twenty four. So so they gave him a piece of
-
broiled fish and some honeycomb, and he took it and
-
ate it in their presence.
-
Wow, Jesus, And we all know this, Jesus.
-
He loves to Maccan. I think his Malaysian too, you
-
know as well, right, we love the Marcan and come
-
give me something to eat. Right, he's asking them for
-
broil fish and honeycomb. So specific, No, no like bread
-
or what like fish and honeycomb. So he took it
-
and ate it in their presence. Right, this would be
-
another powerful evidence that this was the same Jesus doing
-
something with the disciples that he did many times before
-
macaning doing something really really familiar with the disciples.
-
Right.
-
Okay, let's continue on verse forty four. Luke, chapter twenty four. Okay,
-
verse forty four. Then Jesus said to the disciples, these
-
are the words which I spoke to you while I
-
was still with you, that all things.
-
Must be fulfilled within.
-
Field which were written in the Law of Moses and
-
the prophets and the Psalms concerning me. And he opened
-
their understanding that they might comprehend the scriptures. I love
-
how Jesus do this with his disciples. Right, we are
-
all following Jesus, So disciples first, How Jesus disciple his disciples? Right?
-
He always turned.
-
His disciples back to the scriptures, always come back to
-
the Word of God. Because with clarity comes confidence, and
-
with confidence comes courage. The disciples need to be reminded
-
of what the Word of God is saying, aligning them
-
again to what God has for them and what the
-
scriptures is saying about the Lord Jesus Christ. Okay, let's
-
continue on verse forty six. Then he said to them,
-
thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for
-
the Christ to suffer and to rise from the day
-
the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins
-
should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning
-
at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things, amen, Right.
-
So Jesus wanted the disciples to understand that the cross
-
was not some unfortunate obstacle that had to be hurdled. Okay,
-
it was a necessary part of God's redemnitive plan for men,
-
and that it would be in the name of a
-
crucified and reason savior that repentance and remission of sins
-
will be brought to the world.
-
Wow.
-
Wow, Okay, So that's why it's just mind boggling the
-
disciples about this whole thing. That's why Jesus have to
-
bring them back to scriptures again.
-
And Jesus told the disciples.
-
Okay, yeah, the three points that Jesus told the disciples, Yes,
-
these three points what to preach. Jesus shared with the
-
disciples that they need to preach repentance and remissions of sins,
-
which means there is forgiveness in sins for all who repent.
-
Right.
-
So this is something that what Jesus wants the disciples
-
to do, Okay, What to do to preach and what
-
to preach There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent,
-
and where to preach it to all nations and where
-
to start at Jerusalem, so specific, okay, and how to
-
preach it. Preach it in the authority of the name
-
of Jesus, in his name. As witnesses, when someone who
-
is witness sing has a lot of passion one right
-
because the person has already witnessed it. No one else has,
-
but that person has right with passion as witnesses. Witnesses
-
has passion because they have witnessed it. Right, right, Okay,
-
Let's continue on Luke Chapter twenty four, US forty nine. Behold,
-
I send the promise of my Father upon you, but
-
terry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued
-
with power from on high. Right, So they could Okay,
-
So this is a very good reminder that you know,
-
the disciples could not do the work what Jesus had
-
called them to do unless they were endured with power
-
from on high, and that power would come.
-
As the Holy Spirit was poured upon them. Okay.
-
It is a work where we need to collaborate with
-
the Almighty.
-
We cannot do this on our own. Okay. So okay,
-
you can go to the next slide. Is that slide? Okay? Right?
-
Okay, So coming to Matthew chapter twenty five, verse fourteen
-
to thirty. If you can flip it to your Bibles
-
you can otherwise Okay, sorry, sorry, this is not this
-
is not this is okay. Okay, yeah, no, sorry, that
-
picture is correct. That picture is correct. Sorry, Okay, So
-
that picture is after okay, after many many things happen
-
after that, okay. So Jesus was already speaking to them
-
at the table, right, and then Jesus shared with the
-
disciples that you need to go, you need to continue
-
to stay in Jerusalem, right.
-
So that the Holy Spirit can come upon you.
-
You receive power, and you can go and go forth
-
to be my witness, right.
-
Right.
-
And then Jesus ascended to heaven. Jesus ascended to heaven already,
-
and then they continue to tarry in Jerusalem. Holy Spirit
-
came upon them that was when Pentecosts time came right,
-
and they were empowered by the Holy Spirit. And then
-
this is now in the Book of ex right, and
-
the author of the Book of X is also look
-
amazingly okay, and then yes, power on high. They had
-
received power, and they all went forth. They spoke powerfully
-
with authority. They did all that Jesus did. And this
-
is one of them. Peter and John was there also
-
preaching what Jesus called them.
-
To do, to preach, to preach, to preach.
-
The forgiveness of scenes and for all who repent. Right
-
at the same time healed people, healed sick people all around.
-
Right.
-
So this picture speaks about Peter and John, disciples of
-
the Lord Jesus Christ, witnesses of Jesus himself, going out
-
to do the assignment, to do the assignment, and he
-
healed the beggar, right, And it was at this time
-
that yeah, this beggar, yeah, went to the priests, and
-
then the priest was Perskit thing also Peter and Paul.
-
But Peter and Paul went back to the disciples to
-
share about all that had happened. You all this you
-
can read from the Book of X chapter one until
-
x chapter four Okay, right, okay, So this is an
-
amazing account where the disciples not only did the assignment,
-
but they also accounted back to the the disciples, the
-
group of people that were given the assignment. Okay, so
-
next like if you have it, yeah here X chapter
-
four Wars twenty three. It is also said that, and
-
being let go by from the priests Peter and John, okay,
-
they went to their own companions back with the disciples
-
and reported all that the chief priests had done. I
-
think yes, all the chief priests and elders had said
-
to them. Okay, So everything that they had done and
-
also what the chief priest and elders said to them, right,
-
they reported back to them. So I want to bring
-
us to this kingdom. I believe it's a kingdom principle. Okay,
-
next nighte.
-
Okay.
-
So this kingdom principle of alignment, assignment and accountability can
-
also be seen in the Book of Matthew chapter twenty five,
-
verse fourteen to thirty. Okay, all right, okay, So I'll
-
just summarize for the sake of our time, but you
-
can go home and read it, okay. Children, You can
-
also go back and ask Mammy and Daddy to read
-
you this portion of scripture. It's a very important scripture
-
where it talks about alignment, assignment and accountability. Okay, to
-
summarize it, you can see on the slides the three
-
pictures okay, back there, right, Yeah, So there was a
-
master who gave out talents to three of his servants, right,
-
one servant, he gave five talents. You can see the
-
tree palms hand there, right, children, right, five talents, two
-
talents and one talent.
-
Right.
-
And the master went away for a period of time,
-
and the master told three of his servants to do business.
-
Was a very clear instruction, do business with this talents.
-
Okay.
-
When the master came back, the servants need to report
-
back what they have done with their talents. And yeah,
-
you will read from the scripture what happened.
-
Okay.
-
So it is a very important kingdom principle that we
-
have here. Okay, next life, So to summarize. Wow, so fast,
-
we are summarizing.
-
Ready to summarize today's message.
-
God is good. Right Okay, if you can see this,
-
our help to read for us. Okay, So we are
-
talking about alignment, assignment and accountability from the Book of
-
Luke and the Book of Matthew.
-
Very clearly God is wanting the.
-
Whole church and even you can apply it to your
-
personal life as well. Later I'll share you some stories, okay, Alignment,
-
assignment and accountability from the Book of Luke, chapter twenty four,
-
The Lord Jesus Christ came to bring peace to his disciples,
-
troubled and doubtful hearts.
-
The Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Was trying to align his desire because they were all
-
over the place right, bringing back their faith, strengthening their
-
faith by revealing himself and the scriptures.
-
This is a very good kingdom principle as well.
-
Whenever you feel lost, whenever you feel like you asked,
-
don't know what to do, there's no you feel like
-
there's no leading, you don't see it seem to have
-
any form of direction. This is what we have sung. Also,
-
just now, thank you Ariel for singing that song guiding
-
Light right. The Lord Jesus Christ is our guiding light right.
-
He is the Word made flesh. He is so if
-
you ever feel lost, go back to Jesus, go back
-
to his word right and see what he has have
-
to say. Come to church, because this is the bride
-
of Christ. Come to the church where we have homes
-
also together the gathering of believers. Pray your service happening
-
this Tuesday, Come and join us. And even if you're
-
not lost, even if you know where you're going, but
-
he come anyway, you never know.
-
You're sharing.
-
Even you praying could be an encouragement to someone who
-
needs it. Right, we are here to encourage one another.
-
So that's the alignment part, right. And even in book
-
in the Book of Luke chapter twenty four, you know
-
the assignment part where Jesus clearly gives what the disciples
-
need to do, what to preach, where to preach, and
-
how to preach right. And it is not without the
-
help of the Holy Spirit, because Jesus himself know just
-
by men doing it is not possible.
-
So the Holy Spirit needs to come in.
-
Right. And the last part, yes, as I was saying
-
Luke chapter twenty four, but beyond Luke chapter twenty four,
-
in the Book of X, from X chapter one to
-
X chapter four, you can continue to read that the
-
disciples were regularly meeting together and accounting back.
-
Okay.
-
So, and also in the Book of Matthew chapter twenty five, right,
-
we can see that as well with the master. Master,
-
the Master gave talents accordingly and asks very clear instructions
-
to invest, to do, and to engage in business until
-
I come.
-
Right.
-
So, and the Master gave the talents accordingly. Right, the
-
I really truly believe that God gives us our abilities
-
based on what we can do. He won't give us
-
something that we cannot do or is beyond us. He
-
is merciful. Our God is so merciful. He will only
-
give us something that we can handle. If we can
-
handle five talents, he will give us five talents. If
-
we can only handle two talents, we will.
-
He will give us two talents. If we can handle
-
only one.
-
Talent, let's be faithful with that one as well. Right,
-
and very more important is the accountability part. Like the servants,
-
we all need to account back for the assignment given.
-
The Master expects his servants to be profitable servants.
-
Right. God is expecting a return of investment. And our
-
old eye God is expecting and our old eye of
-
the blessings and talents that He's given us so that
-
him be glorified. Okay, so all of us, okay, believers
-
or pre believers, all of us willill stand before God
-
one day, and we want to hear him say my
-
good and faithful servant and not otherwise.
-
Okay, all right.
-
So thank God we are all here. Thank God that
-
we are here hearing a message in advance before we
-
meet the Lord. So we have Yeah, we.
-
God is gracious to us. Here is merciful. Okay.
-
So I have a slight that summarizes clearly as well.
-
Next light, right, okay, okay, next light okay, So I'll
-
just share this, Okay, this is a okay, how I
-
apply how I applied alignment, assignment and accountability. So recently
-
we had our dar Shall inflicts Yeah.
-
And we concluded it.
-
Yeah, so I had I was in this netball tournament okay, right,
-
and I also hear that a lot of my homies
-
on netball players too.
-
I was like so excited. Okay. Anyway, so alignment, assignment
-
and accountability.
-
So the tournament happened, Meet meets I think mid October
-
mid October okay, and then yeah, so I had some
-
pictures of me in action. But yeah, so to cut
-
a long story shot, I had a lot of mistakes, okay,
-
And yeah, as a team, we all did well generally.
-
And also, yeah, we also have strength and witnesses. And
-
also I had a lot of mistakes done.
-
But it's okay. But we actually had a coach.
-
Okay, we had an external coach who came to coach us.
-
Uh yeah, and of course we have to pay a
-
certain amount, but it's okay. It's a good thing because
-
we learned to do the right thing right. We don't
-
simply play as how we want to play right. So
-
there is a form of alignment as well.
-
Okay.
-
There is a form of alignment where every time okay,
-
so this is tournament day.
-
Common tournament day, we actually have timeouts, right, and then.
-
We have we have timeouts, and then the coach will
-
come and tell us, okay, what did you do right?
-
What you do wrong? Right?
-
That alignment is very important. So that was alignment, okay.
-
And then the assignment was when the coach tells us
-
to go out there again to do what is right.
-
Okay.
-
So we did the assignment and then we came back
-
again and we accountback on what happened. Okay, Okay, why
-
did we make the mistake? We have to account back
-
how can we correct it? So this alignment, assignment and
-
accountability is also very important.
-
So praise God.
-
To sum it all up, we all got third place,
-
and not all of us were there present at the
-
medal receiving ceremony. But yeah, it was just fun, strengthened
-
and just being reminded again about this tree principle of alignment,
-
assignment and accountability.
-
Thank you, right, So it was really good and then right, okay,
-
And also.
-
I would like to share a very practical practical example
-
of this tree ace alignment, assignment and accountability. Okay, Every Sunday, Okay,
-
every Sunday, my kids and I and also my husband
-
together we come to church.
-
We always have this alignment, assignment and accountability number one.
-
So alignment is we will tell the kids, remember today
-
is Sunday.
-
We align them.
-
To what to do, how to behave Okay, lend them
-
why we need to go to church and who are
-
we supposed to the reason of why we come to church,
-
right to worship God and this is God's house, right.
-
I always I don't know, it's not very good, but
-
I always reminded them of the story of how Jesus
-
was very angry when he saw all the traders in
-
the House of God, trading doing things that they were
-
not supposed to do, and Jesus came with a whip,
-
So I was so shat with them. You don't want
-
to have Jesus coming with to chase you out for
-
doing something that you are not supposed to do.
-
In the church.
-
Right, as children, we are here to worship God. Okay,
-
as doubts as well, we are here to worship God.
-
Right to meet the King of Kings and Lord of lords.
-
We dressed our best. We come early or on time?
-
Crime early?
-
It's good, yeah, so that you can come on time.
-
If you come on time, you may be late. So
-
come early, right, So come early? All right? So we
-
want to meet King of Kings. Okay, all right?
-
And then the assignment. Yeah, so that's the assignment sending
-
them forth. Okay, so behave well and all that.
-
And then after church we.
-
Have an accountability session, so we will ask okay, so
-
what happened that we hear different ones telling us about
-
our children?
-
Okay, we hear this, Anti say this? Didcher say that? Okay?
-
What happens? Or we have accountability?
-
So actually parenting also applying this tree principle is actually
-
very good.
-
So and we see results of this.
-
So every Sunday we will repeat alignment, assignment and accountability. Right,
-
and also at workplace, so this is also always behind
-
my mind alignment, assignment and accountability. So just and also
-
discipleship relationship can also have this tree is alignment, assignment
-
accountability where we can always align ourselves to our with
-
our leaders.
-
Our leaders will speak to us about what the church.
-
Is going forward or what is it that God has
-
spoken to the leader towards us as disciples as well? Right?
-
And also the assignment what am I supposed to do today?
-
Is it to you know, disciples? Someone else?
-
Is it to be involved in the church, like to
-
be participating to serve? Right, Let's take up that assignment
-
with the help of the Holy Spirit, because we know
-
we cannot do.
-
This on our own.
-
And then after that account back, account back to our
-
leader who has given us that assignment.
-
This is really really good.
-
Okay, next night, So this is the summary where we
-
have these three a's. Can we repeat after me again? Alignment, assignment, accountability. Okay,
-
So alignment is the one where we come back to Jesus,
-
we come back to the who, we come back to
-
why to seek to understand behind the assignment? Okay, So,
-
as I was saying just now, in the month of
-
December to January, we will have a time of unpacking
-
the vision and the mission of the church. That this
-
will be the time of aligning the entire church together. Right,
-
So we hope that all of us can be around
-
to hear the unpacking of the vision and mission.
-
If not, then do catch up with the recording as well.
-
Right, And we pray that all of us will understand
-
the reason behind the unpacking, so that from February onwards
-
to the end of the year, we can go forth
-
to do our assignment.
-
Relying on the Holy Spirit's power. Right, and stay faithful
-
and focus on the world where and how? Okay? And
-
then and let's.
-
Continue to have to be accountable back to our leaders
-
with short accounts life, So keep short accounts of account
-
to account on what had happened. Keep short accounts, meaning
-
to say, if our leaders has given us an assignment today,
-
right today, nine of November, let's keep the shortest account possible.
-
If tomorrow you can give some updates to your leader,
-
let's do it. Don't have to wait until next year
-
November nine to give it out there. That would be
-
too long an essay, right, Okay, let's let's keep short accounts, okay, right.
-
So yeah, so this, this is something that I want
-
to share with us, and I really believe that God
-
wants to liberate some of us even through this Kingdom
-
principle of alignment, assignment and accountability. And in fact it
-
is truly God's direction. I believe it's God's direction for
-
the church moving forward as well.
-
Amen.
