You're listening to a message to go from axt church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
And so the title this morning, remember and return to revival.
-
So revival is the theme this year, all right.
-
So coming from the words the letters D R A
-
E d R E A M Dream right, Dream Malaysia.
-
It's the five year well theme right that we have
-
for the church. Last year it was d What is it?
-
What does it stand for?
-
Again?
-
Discipleship, disciple first, all right, be a disciple first, and
-
also disciple someone all right. So I hope and I
-
want to encourage you. I want to challenge you to
-
continue to do that, all right. Don't throw away discipleship,
-
keep doing, in fact, do more because that's what uh
-
the you know, that's what Jesus told us to do. Yeah,
-
make disciples, make disciples of all nations and and also
-
be a disciple, be a disciple all right. So this
-
year is our which is revival revival. And I hope
-
you're catching it. You understand, you're getting what what revival is.
-
More than that, I I I pray and hope you're
-
experiencing revival, all right. Don't just know about revival and
-
stuff like that, and and yeah, okay, I know.
-
But step into it. Let's let's let's accept it.
-
Let's be obedient as Samuel chair just now, all right, okay,
-
let's step into revival. We we need it, we need it.
-
But uh, you know we we we said it before.
-
We can't just get into revival with no discipleship. Discipleship
-
needs needs to be there. It anchors us. And then
-
we when we have revival with discipleship, it's going to
-
be powerful, all right, and it will lead to E
-
E R right.
-
E stands for evangelism. We need to. It will flow
-
into that. It will flow into that.
-
When revival hits, we will evangelize.
-
All right, Amen, with the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
Okay, so remember and return to revival I'm basing it
-
on the book of Jeremiah again, chapter thirty. All right,
-
and if you've been following, you have kind of an
-
idea of the sequence. All right, But right now we're
-
at Jeremiah thirty. And so how does it go. Let's
-
begin right with this verse Jeremiah thirty. Verse two. Thus
-
says the Lord, the God of Israel, right in a
-
book all the words that I have spoken to you.
-
So God has been speaking to Jeremiah, and he's speaking
-
to speaking to him again.
-
So what does he say, write in a book all
-
the words that I have spoken to you.
-
How many of you here are writing in a book
-
this morning? Yeah, okay, all right, don't raise your hands,
-
it's okay, all right. Some of you are on your phones,
-
hopefully taking notes and not doing something else.
-
All right, we're in the house of the Lord. Okay.
-
I want to encourage you. Put aside all the other stuff. Okay,
-
take notes with your phone and that's it.
-
Okay.
-
If you're texting anyone, text them say you're missing church
-
this morning. That's all your text Okay, nothing else, don't
-
text anything.
-
I don't do work here and stuff like that.
-
Okay, okay, but I understand if some of you you're
-
on like youty this morning, but you're still here, well done,
-
well done, all right, And I tell your boss I'm
-
still I'm trying to listen to the message, okay, right,
-
and share something with him. So, okay, anyway, write in
-
a book. It says here all the words that I
-
have spoken to you. So God is telling Jeremiah to
-
write down something. Why Why does he want him to
-
write down something. When you write down something, what are
-
you trying to do? Remember, we're trying to remember something,
-
so God wants him to put it down because you know,
-
us people, we have short term memories.
-
Okay, we forget easily.
-
That's all of us. That's humans, all right. Okay, some
-
of you can remember things better. But that's our challenge,
-
all right. If we don't write it down, we'll forget
-
about it, all right. If we don't take a picture,
-
we'll forget about it. That's why you know my wife
-
loves to take pictures, all right, because she will always say,
-
when the time comes, you know, when the time comes,
-
you want to remember, you don't have the photo, all right.
-
So I will have the photo, okay.
-
Yeah, but we need to clear the space I cloud
-
right now. It's it's just the baxtup okay anyway, So yeah,
-
we need to manage the space. If we want to remember,
-
we want to write stuff down and take photos. So anyway,
-
back to writing down things on a book, and so
-
I want to encourage all of us as well, write down,
-
right down, especially what God tells you, what God is
-
speaking to you, write it down, okay, because it shows
-
that we're taking it seriously that Okay, God told me
-
something and I want to remember this.
-
Put it down now?
-
Thank God, there's a phone, right, and it's there a
-
bit like a longer term, right, because books get destroyed,
-
get you know, it disappears after a while, but phone
-
information stays there a bit longer. See, you know, it
-
seems so write down. God wants him to write down.
-
He wants us to write down. He wants us to remember.
-
Everyone say remember, all right, so what does he want
-
us to remember? He's telling Jeremiah something about the future,
-
something that is going to happen. So he wants us
-
to remember the future.
-
You know.
-
You know, every time I hear the word remember, I'm
-
always thinking about the past.
-
Remember what happened before? Right? Remember history. But you know,
-
if we are people of the Lord, when we are
-
people of the Lord, when we're in revival, we think
-
about the future a bit more than the past. Right.
-
I want to encourage you if you want to be
-
in revival, you want to you want to know whether
-
you're you're having revival or not. You will you check
-
yourself and you see whether you are thinking about the
-
future or the past more. If you're thinking about the
-
past too, much something is not going well.
-
You know, there's a lot of regrets.
-
It's okay to remember the past a little bit because
-
you know, it's wise to know, Okay, this happened, so
-
I need to know what I shouldn't do next time,
-
all right.
-
But people who know their God.
-
People who know that God, we know we have a
-
hope and a future, and we look at the future
-
because there's a vision, all right. And so the word
-
of God also tells us right without vision, my people
-
perish vision. Looking forward, knowing what's a hit helps us
-
to go forward, to move forward.
-
To know what to do next. Amen, all right? And
-
so this is this is the word of God.
-
It's so amazing when I when I when I realized this, Wow,
-
remember the future. God wants us to remember the future.
-
So that's why why we write notes. When we take
-
down notes, it is so that we know what to
-
do next for the future. And maybe some of us
-
here we need to have the practice of putting down
-
what we're not supposed to do on a daily basis,
-
right Because this is I'm talking about myself. I've always
-
got okay, I've got to do this, I got to
-
do this, I got to do this, it's all in
-
my mind. Then by the time I sit down in
-
my office, I can't remember what I was supposed to do,
-
and I don't do much. But I've also learned to
-
I've also learned to end practice putting down my tasks.
-
Someone told me before, you know, if you put five
-
or six tasks on that paper, just to accomplish that
-
five or six tasks.
-
In one day, you've done a lot. You are successful.
-
So I have that am I put down at least
-
five or six things that are key? And I write
-
it down because I realize I actually get things done
-
so fast just putting it down. Let's just put it down.
-
I feel like everything's done ready because it starts moving
-
really fast. Yeah, because my memory us is overcome. Just oh,
-
it's a reminder, now.
-
You need to do this. Gonna do this all right?
-
And uh, And I don't have.
-
The trouble of like what am I supposed to do again?
-
Struggling with that what am I supposed to again? And
-
I'm going to ask someone what what are we supposed
-
to do?
-
Again?
-
And it's actually quite embarrassing, all right, And somehow the
-
people in my in my office are like, keep asking
-
you know, aren't you a grown man?
-
Oh? All right? Because we keep asking what am I
-
supposed to do? Again? Is actually for kids? Okay? Okay, right,
-
no one offended here?
-
Okay, all right, okay, yeah sometimes husbands, all right, anyway,
-
I ask my wife a lot sometimes, like we's supposed
-
to again, what time is it again?
-
What time is that thing again? Yesterday? We're supposed to go.
-
For the teens thing as I'm supposed to send Judah,
-
all right, the teens thing, all right, it's supposed to
-
be at two. I didn't even see the thing. There
-
was a communication somewhere. Yeah, yeah, someone supposed to pick
-
him up, pick him up by two?
-
All right.
-
I was eating lunch at one forty with Judah, and
-
then my friend called, hey, where where are you guys?
-
Are eating lunch? That? Am I not supposed to pick
-
you up?
-
Like?
-
Is it? What time? All right? Yeah?
-
That's that's me sometimes, okay anyway. So that's why, God,
-
that's why we need to write things down. To put
-
things down, we need to be aware. Remember the future.
-
The future speaks of vision. When you have a vision,
-
you know, when you when you want to build a company,
-
you when you want to when you want to build
-
your family, you got to have a vision for your family.
-
You got to know what's the future for your family
-
looking forward. You know, just knowing that my future is heaven,
-
my future is eternity with God, with Jesus, gives me
-
so much hope. No matter what I face right now,
-
no matter what challenge I face right now, even if
-
it looks impossible, even if it looks very difficult, all right, challenging,
-
painful looking, I know my future is good. And so therefore,
-
this that this suffering that I'm going through for this moment.
-
It's okay.
-
It's okay because I've got a great future ahead. But
-
you know, imagine many people who don't know their future,
-
always just living in the past and just maybe the present.
-
They don't know what to look for. They don't they
-
don't have something to look forward to. There's nothing I
-
hit for them, and so that's why life becomes hopeless,
-
becomes sad and depressing, all right. That's why for families
-
as well, it's good. You know, when you have a vision,
-
even a vision and a plan. There's a long term plan,
-
of course, but it's also the short term plan where
-
you know, Puss the Kenneth, you know, reminded me before,
-
advice me before. He said, it's always good to have
-
a bit of a plan, you know, just something to
-
look forward to, something exciting for the family. That's why
-
a little you plan, a little bit of a short trip,
-
you know, for your for your marriage, for your family. Uh,
-
something to look forward to. So that then then homework
-
becomes less difficult for the children and they have something
-
to look forward to. When they have something to look
-
forward to, they will finish their homework. Yeah, it's motivation.
-
And so therefore the Lord knows this and he motivates
-
us by saying, there is this wonderful vacation for you
-
in the future. All right, so look ahead, don't worry
-
about what you go through. Now, work hard, go through it,
-
suffer a little bit, it's okay.
-
But then there's eternity ready for you.
-
There's no tears, right, no tears, no pain, no sickness,
-
no darkness. The Sun is the Lord. The light, you know,
-
is the Lord is the Light himself. Yeah, he's with you.
-
The presence of God will be there. It will be beautiful. Amen.
-
So don't worry, don't.
-
Worry, because we have a wonderful future here of us.
-
Okay, right, what's next? Next? Light?
-
Yeah, okay, all right, Jeremiah thirty verse three, Ken, we
-
can I go here? Okay, thank you for behold. Days
-
are coming, declares the Lord. When I will restore the
-
fortunes of my people Israel and Judah, says the Lord.
-
And I will bring them back to the land that
-
I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession
-
of it.
-
All right, what is this about? All right? So the
-
point here is.
-
I will restore the fortunes of my people, and I will.
-
Bring them back.
-
Bring them back, everyone say, bring them back, Bring them
-
back to the land that I gave to their fathers.
-
This, this speaks to me.
-
It tells me of you know, returning back to what
-
God gave first to us.
-
You know, if you remember what God.
-
First gave to you, what is the What was the
-
first thing that God gave to you when you came
-
to know him, when you first heard of Jesus.
-
He gave you his salvation, He saved you.
-
You can you remember the time you first realized you
-
were saved from all the guilt and all the sin
-
and all the shame that you had. If you can't,
-
maybe you need to be saved, means you don't have
-
that memory. You don't you don't maybe you're not saved yet.
-
But if you have been saved, you should have a
-
memory of how God saved you, what he saved you from.
-
If you don't know what God saved you from, that
-
means likely you're not saved because you don't even know
-
what you what problem you had, and what trouble you had.
-
Maybe you don't think you have a problem. Okay, so
-
you need to you need to be aware of that.
-
What is the sin, what is the shame, what is
-
the guilt that you had, and what Jesus had to
-
save you from. That is very powerful because once you
-
have that, you we go back to that, you know,
-
because sometimes, yeah, you know, God saved us, then we
-
went on with life and you know, like like.
-
The seeds, you know, the thorns came.
-
In troubled us and you know, maybe our roots they
-
didn't go so deep and we now forgot. But once
-
we go back to what we had, the first thing
-
that God gave us, the gift of salvation and of
-
the Holy Spirit, then we will remember.
-
And that's revival.
-
Let me tell you, Revival means you know, you come
-
back to realization.
-
I've been saved by Jesus Christ. So therefore I need
-
to do something about this. Because I've been saved. I've
-
been saved for something.
-
I've been saved so that I can live as a
-
son and daughter of the Most High God, so that
-
I can live differently from what I had in the past.
-
I don't need to live in guilt and shame and
-
the sin and the past anymore. I have a future,
-
and so I live right now a new life.
-
It's a new life, it's a new thinking, a new mind.
-
Right, we decide differently from from now on after we
-
got saved.
-
Right, I used to, let's say, I used to.
-
Bring with my friends because I had so much sorrows
-
and you know, getting drunk so that I can forget
-
all that pain for a moment, all right, But right.
-
Now I don't need that anymore. That's my past.
-
Because Jesus came to save me. All I need is him,
-
All I need is his presence, his power. He has
-
clansed me and saved me from my depression and my sorrows,
-
and so I don't need to rely on alcohol to
-
continue in life. In fact, I am more than a conqueror. Amen,
-
I have got I'm on the victorious side. He has
-
already won a man. So return to what God first
-
gave you. Do remember that? Can we all just take
-
a moment and think about that? How were you saved?
-
How did you meet Jesus?
-
Right?
-
How did you no salvation? That I no longer live
-
in darkness, I no longer live in the past. And
-
if you you feel like you're still living in darkness
-
and in pain and in shame and in guilt because
-
seem to can't get out of the cycle. You're in
-
a cycle of you know, sin. Then later when we
-
we will, we will invite you to follow Jesus. You know,
-
we'll have a salvation call you say that prayer you
-
you invite Jesus into your life and experience the salvation
-
of Jesus Christ.
-
Amen.
-
And from there you will have that memory of the
-
gift of salvation.
-
Amen.
-
All right, And then please tell us later when you
-
are when you when you are received the salvation of Jesus,
-
when you follow Jesus, when you decided that you want
-
to be saved.
-
Amen. Okay, let's go on, So return to that.
-
And then now verse four to seven, these are the
-
words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah. Thus
-
says the Lord, we have heard a cry of panic,
-
of terror, and no peace. Ask now and see can
-
a man bear a child?
-
Next?
-
Why then, do I see every man with his hands
-
on his stomach like a woman in labor?
-
Why has every face turned pale? Lass?
-
That day is so great? There is none like it.
-
That they is so great, There is none like it.
-
It is a time of distress for Jacob, yet he
-
shall be saved out of it. It's a terrible time,
-
but yet he shall be saved out of it. A man, Okay, okay,
-
that's it, all right. So this verse here speaks to
-
us because we were talking about remembering, remember the future.
-
Let's return to our first love, right when we fell
-
in love with Jesus a man, let me say, we
-
want to serve him all our lives.
-
Are you serving him right now? Right?
-
Remember those revival meetings you were part of and you said, yeah,
-
I give my life to Jesus. I want to follow him,
-
I want to serve him. I want to go full time.
-
All right, Remember that it's not too late. It's never
-
too late. Amen, And let's come back to it you can,
-
you can still serve him.
-
That's why the church is here, all right.
-
And if anybody wants to go full time, yeah, you
-
can talk to us and see if there's any space
-
for that. But and I'm sure there is, amen. So yeah,
-
time of distress and he shall be saved out of it.
-
So there's a point here. We want to remember the
-
Great day of the Lord. You know, when we're in revival,
-
or how do we know we're in revival? Like I said,
-
we look, we think about the future, and also we
-
think about this, the Great day of the Lord.
-
What's the Great day of the Lord?
-
The Great Day of the Lord reminds us of a
-
few different other verses in the Bible. Let us just
-
go through those verses. Not a button, okay, yeah, all right.
-
Zeph Andiah chapter one, verse fourteen says, the Great day
-
of the Lord is near, near and hastening fast. The
-
sound of the day of the Lord is bitter. The
-
mighty man cries all out. There is a time of suffering.
-
It's a time of pain. What's the great day of
-
the Lord? Revelation six seventeen says for the great day,
-
no yet, no yet, I will finish the Great Day
-
of the Lord. Sorry for the great day of their
-
wrath has come, and who can stand Wow, sounds horrible,
-
sounds scary, right next Revelation sixteen fourteen fifteen four. They
-
are demonic spirits, the Great Day of the Lord. All right,
-
there's spiritual forces involved here performing signs who go abroad
-
to the kings of the whole world.
-
The whole world is involved.
-
And nowadays if you look at news reports, there's a
-
global challenge going on.
-
There's wars going on, right, and we see signs of
-
these things.
-
I think it's not yet fully blown yet, right, but
-
he's getting there. He's getting there, all right, Kings of
-
the whole world, leaders of the world, to assemble them
-
for battle on the Great Day of God Almighty. Behold,
-
I am coming like a thief. The blessed is he
-
is the one who stays awake, stay alert, keep awake
-
on your toes. Right, it will be blurd, that's the word.
-
Keeping his garments on, keeping his garments on, ready, prepared, right,
-
pressed up for the day, not caught in pajamas, right, right,
-
keeping his garments on that he may not go about.
-
Naked and be seen exposed. Right, the Lord will suddenly
-
come the Great Day of the Lord. Why is it
-
called the Great Day of the Lord.
-
Yes, it's great suffering, is going to be great shaking,
-
but it's also going to be great for those who
-
love Jesus, A wonderful, great day where we will meet
-
him face to face.
-
Amen.
-
Next Matthew twenty four to twenty one. For then there
-
will be great tribulation such as has not been from
-
the beginning of the world until now, No, and never
-
will be.
-
It will be the final battle. It will be the
-
final tribulation, the final suffering.
-
And you know, you see the signs of it, you see,
-
you know, especially you know when we talk about Jeremiah
-
thirty and it's talking about that great day, they're talking
-
about the persecution of the people, of the Jewish people,
-
of the people of Israel, right, and we see that
-
going on even right now. Yeah, they're getting attacked back
-
and forth, front and back and left and right, and so.
-
These are we need to remember that.
-
We need to fix our eyes or rather our minds
-
on that and be in prayer.
-
That's why we pray.
-
If you were here with us this morning, we prayed
-
for the peace of Jerusalem. Yeah, we pray for the
-
people of God, that they will also experience salvation.
-
Amen, you know, because why do we need to remember that?
-
Because the suffering that they will go through we will
-
also go through.
-
We will also go through it. Okay. If you're not
-
going through it yet, eventually you will. Amen.
-
And we're together in this. So we are in prayer together,
-
all right. So this is the next point. This is
-
the next point. Return to be restored and rebuilt from
-
your incurable affliction?
-
What is this?
-
Okay, I'm gonna read the rest of jeremiaht thirty We're
-
gonna look at it together, eight to twenty two. Are
-
you ready for this? Are you ready for this? You're
-
gonna pay attention. We're just reading through right now. That's
-
the point here. What was the point again? Restore, return
-
to be restored and rebuilt from your incurable affliction, all right,
-
and incurable affliction that we some of us might be
-
going through.
-
So what is this about.
-
Let's read Jeremiah thirty eight to twenty two. Okay, let's go,
-
and it shall come to pass. In that day, declares
-
the Lord of Hosts, that I will break his yoke
-
from off your neck, and I will burst your bonds
-
and foreigners shall no more make a servant of him,
-
but they shall serve the Lord their God, and David
-
their King, whom I will raise up for them. And
-
then fear not, Oh Jacob, my servant, declares the Lord,
-
nor be dismayed or Israel. For behold, I will save
-
you from far away, and your offspring from the land
-
of their captivity. Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease,
-
and none shall make him afraid Verse eleven. For I
-
am with you to save you, declare the Lord. I
-
will make a full end of all the nations among
-
whom I scattered you, but of you I will not
-
make a full end. Praise the Lord. All right, the
-
Lord will make a full end of the enemy. I
-
will not make a full end of them.
-
Right.
-
I will discipline you, discipline you in just measure, and
-
I will, by no means leave you unpunished.
-
So they're still discipline right. For thus says the Lord.
-
Your hurt is incurable, and your wound is grievous. There
-
is none to uphold your cause, no medicine for your
-
no healing for you, nothing that can save you. All
-
your lovers have forgotten you. They care nothing for you.
-
You look for help, you know, from many many, from
-
many places. But they're not going to help you, says here.
-
Or your lovers have forgotten you. They care nothing for you.
-
For I have dealt you the blow of an enemy,
-
the punishment of a merciless foe, because your guilt is great,
-
because your sins are flagrant. One, why do you cry
-
out over your hurt? Your pain is incurable.
-
Because your guilt is great, because your sins are flagrant.
-
I have done these things to you. Therefore, all who
-
devour you shall be devoured, And all your foes, every
-
one of them, shall go into captivity.
-
Those who plunder you shall be plundered. And all who
-
pray on you, I will make them. I will make
-
a prey. You're no longer you know the ones who
-
pray on you, But they will be made a prey.
-
For I will restore health to you, and your wounds
-
will I will heal, declares the Lord. Because they have
-
called you an outcast. It is Zion for whom no
-
one cares. That's what they said, But that says the Lord. Behold,
-
I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob,
-
and have compassion on his dwellings. The city shall be
-
rebuild built on its mound, and the palace shall stand where.
-
It used to be restoration and rebuilding.
-
Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, hallelujah, and
-
the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them,
-
and they shall not be few. I will make them honored,
-
and they shall not be small.
-
A man about to end here there.
-
Are children shall be as they were of old, and
-
the congregation shall be established before me, and I will
-
punish all who oppress them. The prince shall be one
-
of themselves. Their ruler shall come out from their midst.
-
I will make him draw near, and he shall approach me. Right,
-
he'll be able to draw near and not stay far
-
and feel like, oh, I can't approach, for who would
-
dare of him to himself to approach me?
-
So yeah, this speaks of salvation. Right.
-
We can't approach God by ourselves, but God makes a
-
way for us to be able to draw near, declares
-
the Lord. And you shall be my people, and I
-
will be your God.
-
Amen.
-
It's what a wonderful few versus just to read through
-
write so much hope in there, but so much meaning
-
in there as well, I want to highlight a few
-
things here, all right.
-
Uh, it speaks of.
-
The affliction, you know, the incurable affliction that is talking
-
about some of us here were we're experiencing that, we're
-
going through challenges, pain and suffering.
-
You know, I can remember a few different people here that.
-
And you know, you went through accidents and pain and
-
torture and suffer not touched torture, torture at work and suffering.
-
And sometimes you wonder why or why why do I
-
go through these things?
-
But you know that, you know, after you went through
-
the pain and the suffering, it is God.
-
Who allowed it.
-
It is God who allowed us to go through that
-
because as mentioned here, it was discipline. Yeah, I kind
-
of like it's called punishment because you will not go unpunished.
-
It's just punishment because we needed to be disciplined, just
-
like our kids.
-
We all know that, right.
-
You can't You can't have kids without discipline, all right,
-
because kids with no discipline will end up being the
-
future criminals. Yeah, you treat them all nice now, no discipline,
-
but in the future they'll be asking you, why didn't
-
you teach me that?
-
Why do you teach me? Mom?
-
Why didn't you discipline me when I was younger, right,
-
So okay, pay a little bit of price for the discipline.
-
Don't have don't abuse them. Right.
-
Discipline just means setting limits, setting boundaries.
-
There's boundaries right.
-
Right, and you know, just like it just there's boundaries
-
like don't play with the knife.
-
Right.
-
It's not free for all freedom, do whatever you want. Right,
-
there's boundaries. Don't play with the fire, use it for good,
-
teach them right.
-
So that's discipline.
-
So the Lord disciplines whom he loves, He disciplines, amen,
-
So thank God for that. Let's be thankful for the
-
discipline that God gives to us. And sometimes he uses
-
your leader to speak to you and tell you something.
-
That man doesn't sound that nice. I thought my leader
-
is like all loving, like you know, the loving Jesus
-
in those pictures. But why did he say this to me?
-
Why did he tell me I can't do this? Why
-
did he tell me I can't go for that girl?
-
Right?
-
You know, even in serving, and especially in serving, we
-
will do the discipline, all right, because you signed up
-
for it.
-
You didn't sign up to do a job.
-
You didn't sign up just to press some buttons, right,
-
And then you go like, yeah, see, I made myself available.
-
I'm helping right now, and they can't do without me,
-
is it? No, that's not really the case, all right,
-
I tell you the truth. Right, at one point we
-
had no exkis teachers. We just just don't have ex kids.
-
It's okay. I mean, of course we love to have
-
ex kids.
-
It'd be great to have ex kids so the children
-
can have ministry, right and then parents can listen to
-
the message a little bit more, you know, at peace.
-
But we do have we call it fairly Sundays we
-
have the children sit with us as well. It's discipline
-
now for us, it's okay, and it's discipline for us,
-
it's disciplined for the children.
-
And you know what, our children are amazing.
-
They are able to sit in you know, of course
-
they're still children, but you know that's where we it's
-
really good. I love seeing that when you when we
-
get our children together with us. Yeah, sometimes they are
-
still playing, but we we will. I see parents just
-
going to their kids and speaking to them. That's opportunity
-
to teach them how to behave in the house of God. Right,
-
So yeah, if we don't have the person, then we
-
we it's okay, we'll just go simple, all right, But
-
it's it's two ways. I in a way, right you
-
you join, and then of course it's great that you're.
-
Part of it.
-
We appreciate that. Yeah, uh uh, and I believe you
-
know you're doing it for the Lord. You're doing it
-
for the Lord. It's not for anyone, all right. But
-
at the same time, it's.
-
In the dream teams you call it dream teams, in
-
the PC team, in the sound team, and the TV team.
-
That's where discipleship also takes place.
-
Everything is about discipleship. Holmes is about discipleship. Dream teams
-
are about discipleship. Huddles are even.
-
More about discipleship.
-
And Church on Sundays is about discipleship, all right, And
-
that's where we'll say, oh man, the spelling on the screen,
-
that's correct, that please, or the lyrics okay, it's just
-
those few words, come on, check it all right, check it.
-
That's that's we're also training you to do a job
-
in the future, because you know, people who are trained
-
in the church, when they go and finally get a job,
-
they're well trained, already have job exp instance, already got
-
scolded by bosses in the church. So another schooling from
-
my what's no problem? You know nowadays are they call
-
it very flaky flaky young people?
-
Right? Not. None of the young people are like that
-
here or solid tough young people here. We have.
-
But but they're saying, you know, a strawberry they call
-
it strawberry generation. Nowadays, those are you know outside there,
-
they don't know Jesus yet. We need this, so we
-
need to bring them in, toughing them up a bit, yeah,
-
because the strawberry a little bit pressed or criery water
-
come out. Okay, all right, so don't be like that.
-
Okay.
-
So I was saying what am I saying here?
-
The suffering, the punishment, the affliction that we go through.
-
God allows it or allows it because he loves us.
-
But when he brings us in, all right, it's incurable.
-
It is suffering some times that we go through our sin,
-
all right, is we cannot fix it ourselves. And so
-
that's why God needs to do that. That's why I
-
mentioned earlier the salvation of Jesus Christ.
-
That's the first thing, all right.
-
And then the work of the Holy Spirit in our
-
lives that we'll be able to transform us in our
-
spirit and God promises us restoration and rebuilding.
-
Amen.
