Good evening. Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don Noble of Pure
-
Heart Ministries, and I welcome you today with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy.
-
Tonight's message is be still and know that I Am God. This is the
-
prophetic word for twenty twenty four that I have been promising to share with you.
-
Sometimes it's the simplicity of a scripture that has the most profound effect on
-
us spiritually. Be still and know that I Am God happens to be one
-
of those. I have never had so many confirmations about a prophetic word,
-
ever, this one just I just kept getting confirmation after confirmation after confirmation.
-
And this word is for the entire body of Christ for the year twenty twenty
-
four and beyond. You know, it's important for you to understand what a
-
prophetic word is, because some of you have grown up in churches and you
-
have no clue what that even means. But what a prophetic word is,
-
It's something the Lord speaks to his servants that he once shared with the body,
-
with his body of believers. So if we look back at the Old
-
Testament, there were prophets and the Lord would speak to that prophet, and
-
then the prophet would deliver the message. Well, there are still prophets today,
-
and God speaks to people and they deliver the message. So I'm delivering
-
the message to you today now this particular scripture. Be still and know that
-
I am God. This is Psalm forty six, Verse ten is where you
-
can find that scripture. And what I want to share is that this scripture
-
is carrying the weightiness of the Lord's glory. Now what do I mean by
-
weighty? For this season of time, this new year of twenty twenty four,
-
this scripture will carry you into the most profound piece you've ever experienced.
-
Now, there's there's an if there, and I'll explain that it's weighty because
-
of its importance pertaining to circumstances that will unfold this year and beyond. It's
-
not a scary word. You shouldn't fear what's coming, because the weightiness of
-
this word will carry you and keep you. That's if if you meditate on
-
this word. That's if you put that word deep down in your spirit.
-
That's if you cause yourself to pay attention to this word, to on this
-
word, and stand on this word when circumstances begin to unfold that are not
-
very positive. I'll just say it that way. So if you do what
-
I'm telling you to do, then you shouldn't fear what's coming, because the
-
weightiness of this word will carry you and keep you. I'm absolutely positive.
-
Of course, there's a condition to it, as I said, not only
-
that this word, this scripture will cause you to experience an experiential and unprecedented,
-
unprecedented moment of God's glory. Like I said, if you meditate on
-
this scripture and you ask the Lord to show you exactly how he wants you
-
to be still, and you ask him, how can I really know you?
-
How can I really perceive you? How can I really experience your presence
-
like never before? I guarantee you you'll begin to experience a little taste of
-
His glory. So if you've never done that before, this is a really
-
fun experience. It's an awesome experience to be in the Lord's presence. So
-
you got to talk to him. You have to ask him, ask,
-
seek knock now. Isaiah chapter sixty, verse one and two says, this
-
arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the
-
Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
-
and deep darkness the people. But the Lord will rise or rise over
-
you, and his glory will be seen upon you. So this is what
-
I'm telling you about this scripture. When you get into that place where you're
-
meditating on this scripture, you're talking to the Lord, show me what this
-
exactly means for my life, and you ask him to show you, to
-
allow you to experience, perceive, understand what it is to know him.
-
Then you will begin to experience his glory. The scripture says, So says
-
the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Boom says, the Lord
-
will arise over you, and his glory will be seen upon you. I
-
have been in the presence of ministers where while they are ministering, there is
-
so much glory on them. It's amazing. Now, maybe you've never had
-
that experience. If you haven't, I don't know what to tell you.
-
But I have. And these are men and women of God who carry the
-
glory of the Lord. Why because they stay in his presence. They're full
-
of the spirit, they're full of God's word, and so when they minister,
-
there's so much light emanating from them. I even remember telling one one
-
of the ministers after he ministered. Later, I said, there was so
-
much much glory on you. There was so much light emanating from you.
-
And of course people have to walk in purity. So you can't be walking
-
in all kinds of sin and think and think that the glory of the Lord's
-
going to be seen upon you. It doesn't work that way. No,
-
You've got to walk in the purity and the holiness of the Lord. So
-
now that I've said all of that, I want to say that this message
-
is going to be at least minimum three parts. So Part one is today.
-
Part one is the overall big picture, and Part one is emphasizing putting
-
away worldly attractions over spiritual blessings. Part two, we're going to examine the
-
lives of biblical characters that show this scripture. You know, you're going to
-
see in the lives of these people. You're going to see this scripture up
-
close and personal. Part three is going to focus on a resting place,
-
being buried with Christ, and finally being seated with Christ in heavenly places.
-
So this is one of the most unique words. I mean, I you
-
know, it has to be the Lord. I didn't just go pick this
-
scripture. I'm telling you, he highlighted it to me over and over and
-
over and over again. So I'm going to share with you what He has
-
shown me about this scripture. And as much as it's blessed me, I'm
-
assuming and hoping that it's going to bless you in the same way. So
-
to begin, I have to dissect this scripture, starting by look looking at
-
that word still. And of course it's written in the Hebrew, so I
-
have to look in the Hebrew to see what exactly does this word still mean.
-
And this is what it means. It means resting place, it means
-
quiet, ease, peacefully, silent, undisturbed, and abode cessation. So
-
we'll be we'll be looking at those things. Now, most of us know
-
that we cannot hear God without being quiet. You can't be I don't know.
-
You can't be fussing and human and carrying on and whatever and hear the
-
Lord. You got to be quiet in your spirit, in your soul.
-
But to know God, that's to hear God. To know God God is
-
that you have to spend time with him. So this is time spent worshiping
-
Him, talking to him, waiting on him, and it's not just a
-
one time get together. And by the way, waiting on him so that
-
you can hear what he's saying, You're gonna have to be patient. You
-
may have to sit there a while or kneel there a while. So this
-
is a journey, and it would probably be safe to say it's a journey
-
of a lifetime because once you have a deep and lasting encounter with Jesus,
-
you actually you'll want to be with him more and more. So this is
-
this isn't a one night stand. This is this is a journey of a
-
lifetime. And I assure you, when you know I'm hoping to hear some
-
some wonderful testament is I pray that you'll you'll share those with me, either
-
by email or letter or whatever, because I think this word, this word,
-
this scripture is so weighty, and I think you're going to see exactly
-
what that means. Now. One of the interesting things about this particular scripture
-
is the context in which it's written. Now I'm going to read to you
-
out of the amplified Bible, and I want you to pay close attention.
-
I want you to well, actually, it would be helpful if you read
-
along in your own Bible, but I found that the amplified says it a
-
little stronger, and so I want you to just pay close attention. There's
-
eleven scriptures. I'm going to take my time. The tenth scripture is the
-
one we're focusing on. But I need to share the context of the scripture
-
because then it will make more sense. Now. Psalm forty six was written
-
by the Sons of Cora, and it was actually a song, as most
-
psalms are. And here we go Verse one. God is our refuge and
-
strength, mighty and impenetrable to temptation, a very present and well proved help
-
in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change,
-
and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas, though its
-
waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult,
-
se La, pause and calmly think of that there is a river whose streams
-
shall make glad. The City of God, the holy place of the Tabernacles
-
of the Most High God, is in the midst of her. She shall
-
not be moved. God will help her right early at the dawn of the
-
morning, the nations raged, the kingdoms tottered and were moved. He uttered
-
his voice, and the earth melted. The Lord of Hosts is with us.
-
The God of Jacob is our refuge, our fortress, and our high
-
tower. See Lah. Pause and calmly think of that. Come behold the
-
works of the Lord who has wrought desolations and wonders in the earth. He
-
makes wars to cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow
-
in pieces and snaps the spear into He burns the chariots in the fire.
-
Now here's our verse, verse ten. Let be and be still and know,
-
recognize and understand that I am God. I will be exalted among the
-
nations. I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of Hosts is
-
with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge, our high tower and
-
stronghold. See Lah. Pause and calmly think of that. Okay, And
-
by the way, if you're not familiar with the word see lah. Not
-
every version of the Bible uses that word. But what it means is exactly
-
what I shared. Selah means pause and calmly think of that. Now,
-
this is why we must be still and no God, because though the Earth
-
should change, and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the sea,
-
and though its waters roar, and though the mountains tremble at its swelling
-
and tumult, which just means loud noise of confusion or disorder. These verses
-
are a picture of the Earth right now, and a few speak of the
-
future. But there are physical changes and there are spiritual changes. Many glaciers
-
have disappeared, springs have dried up. I don't know if you're aware,
-
but the Frate's River is drying up. And I'm not a climate change believer,
-
so you know, I'm just sharing because these are real occurrences. Now,
-
I've seen with my own eyes that at Mammoth Springs and Yellstone, that's
-
the northern part of the park. My first visit was in nineteen ninety and
-
the springs there were overflowing and many in number. I was back there in
-
twenty nineteen, thirty years later, and hardly any water was flowing. I've
-
been to the Grand Tetons many times, and the one glacier that's very obvious.
-
You can see it from the highway. It's very easy to see.
-
Thirty years later it has shrunk a lot. The waters are roaring. Japan
-
experienced a major tsunami in twenty eleven. You remember it knocked out Fukushima Nuclear
-
power plant. That earthquake. That earthquake alone shifted the Earth on its axis
-
of rotation by redistributing mass. It's like putting a dent in a spinning top.
-
That earthquake shortened the length of a day by about a micro second.
-
I mean, that is amazing. The jolt moved Japan's main island of Honshu
-
eastward by eight feet. About two hundred and fifty miles of Japan's northern Honshu
-
coast dropped by two feet. The Pacific Plate slid westward near the epicenter of
-
this earthquake by seventy nine feet. And that tsunami, which occurred in Japan
-
broke icebergs off the Salzburger ice shelf in Antarctica. Do you think the Earth
-
is moving? Do you think things are shaking and changing? I mean,
-
when I found this information, I I was kind of like, WHOA,
-
I don't hear anybody talking about part of an island moving eight feet. I
-
haven't heard anybody talk about the Pacific Plate sliding seventy nine feet. I mean,
-
this is big stuff, this is incredible. So yes, though the
-
Earth should change. Well, the Earth is changing, and the mountains be
-
shaken, and they are shaking, and the water is roaring. Now verse
-
three, the water, the waters roar, and the mountains tremble. Twenty
-
twenty three, Mount Etna and Sicily became exceedingly active this year on December first,
-
just pouring down a ton of lava and it was considered a major eruption.
-
This was just a month ago. Now I was I'm trying to think
-
what year that was. I'm not sure, but I was ten feet from
-
that active lava flowing roughly fifteen well there were fifteen years ago. So I
-
was at My husband and I were there and there were no chains and we
-
were standing ten freet feet from the actual lava flowing. Now, I could
-
go on and on about many more eruptions, but I mean December eighteenth of
-
twenty twenty three, So again, just about a month ago, Iceland had
-
a major eruption, a volcanic eruption. Yes, the Earth and its mountains
-
and oceans are changing. We all know the spiritual changes that have swept the
-
globe. I don't need to get into that. We've talked about it many
-
times. You all know it. The degradation of culture is not just limited
-
to the United States. It's all over the world. But there's good news.
-
Verse four says that there is a river whose streams makes glad the city
-
of God. Yes, October seventh, we witnessed the most heinous crimes against
-
the Israeli people by Hamas. But scripture says Jerusalem shall not be moved.
-
That's what it says in this Psalm forty six. Look at verse six says
-
the nations raged, the kingdoms tottered or crumbled and were moved. I'd say
-
that there were some nations raging Lebanon, for instance, Syria, Iran,
-
they raged against Israel. And now and now we see so many nations and
-
people groups raging against the Jewish people in twenty twenty four. I'm telling you,
-
watch God's voice thunder and see the earth melt. Verse seven, the
-
Lord of heaven armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge,
-
our fortress, our high tower. See law. And that's out of
-
the New Living Translation as well. For verse eight, come see the glorious
-
works of the Lord, see how he brings destruction upon the world. And
-
verse ten, Be still and know that I am God. I will be
-
honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. So the
-
context for that scripture is to understand that knowing God, recognizing and understanding that
-
He is going to make the nations know that there is someone much greater,
-
with greater power to determine how the future goes. The world economic form isn't
-
going to determine how the future goes. God is greater than any man.
-
Now, that will probably happen after the rapture, but things are already beginning
-
to shift in our favor, albeit slow. But God is making himself known
-
to many people groups across the world. So even though you know we don't
-
often get to see all the positive things, I can tell you that God
-
is moving across the entire world. Now what I'm going to do next week
-
is I'm going to show you in the scriptures people in the Bible who had
-
there be still and know that I Am God experiences and how it changed them,
-
literally changed them. You see, there's that old hymn, turn your
-
eyes upon Jesus says, turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his
-
wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light
-
of his glory and grace. When we are being still, when we are
-
being silent, peaceful, and undisturbed, then we turn our eyes upon Jesus,
-
we look full into his wonderful face. We will begin to know him.
-
We will begin to understand things we haven't known before. I guarantee you
-
that the things of this world will begin to grow strangely dim, strangely dim,
-
and you are going to begin to desire the things of the spiritual realm
-
much more than the worldly realm. Now this is my heart's desire. I
-
hope it's your heart's desire. Because Jesus is peace, he is love,
-
he is good. So I want to end this broadcast by asking the question,
-
do you know him? If you don't know him as your Lord and
-
savior, I'd like you to pray this prayer after me. Just say,
-
Jesus, I want to know your peace and love and goodness. I invite
-
you into my heart to live there forever. The Bible says, if I
-
confess Jesus with my mouth and I believe God raised Jesus from the dead.
-
I shall be saved. Thank you for saving me. Make me clean.
-
I'm sorry for my sins and every wicked thing that I've ever done. Cleanse
-
me with your blood and make me clean and pure. I make you my
-
Lord and my savior. I will serve you all the days of my life.
-
Amen. If you prayed that prayer with me, would you be so
-
kind to email me? My email is simple, it's all lowercase. It's
-
