  1. Good evening. Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don Noble of Pure

  2. Heart Ministries, and I welcome you today with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy.

  3. Tonight is part two of Be Still and Know That I Am God. This

  4. is a prophetic word that the Lord gave me for twenty twenty four. And

  5. as I mentioned last week, sometimes it's the simplicity of a scripture that has

  6. the most profound effect on us spiritually, and this scripture Psalm forty six ten

  7. be Still and Know that I Am God is one of those scriptures. I

  8. said last week. I've never had so many confirmations about a prophetic word ever.

  9. And this word is for the entire body of Christ for twenty twenty four

  10. and beyond. It's important and to understand what a prophetic word is. It's

  11. something the Lord speaks to his servants that he once shared with his body of

  12. believers. I mentioned last week this scripture. If you didn't get it,

  13. this scripture is carrying the weightiness of the Lord's glory. And what do I

  14. mean by weighty this new year of twenty twenty four, this scripture is going

  15. to carry you into the most profound peace and glory you have ever experienced.

  16. It's weighty because of its importance pertaining to circumstances that will unfold this year and

  17. beyond. And it's not a scary word. I said last week, this

  18. is not a scary word. And you shouldn't fear what's coming because the weightiness

  19. of this word will carry you and keep you. I have to say that

  20. again. You shouldn't fear what's coming because the weightiness of this word will carry

  21. you and keep you. And not only that, it will cause you to

  22. experience an unprecedented moment of God's glory. That's if Okay, it's predicated on

  23. this. All that that I said is predicated on this. If you meditate

  24. on this scripture and you inquire the Lord to show you exactly how he wants

  25. you to be still, what it is you know that he's asking you,

  26. asking of you, and how it is that you can experience His presence like

  27. never before. I guarantee you you will begin to experience His glory. So

  28. this is part two. Tonight and be still and know that I am God

  29. will cause you to walk in God's glory. So today I want to focus

  30. on putting away worldly attractions, humbling ourselves that we may receive spiritual blessings.

  31. King David wrote the most famous psalm, Psalm twenty three. There isn't a

  32. Christian alive least I hope not. That's not familiar with Psalm twenty three.

  33. David writes in verses two and three, he says this, he meaning the

  34. Lord. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul, and

  35. he leads me in passive righteousness for his name's sake. You see, we

  36. as believers where the sh sheep of the Lord, and sheep will not drink

  37. water from a flowing creek or a small river. That water has to be

  38. still, and water is a mandatory life giving source for the sheep. So

  39. a good shepherd will make sure his sheep have calm water. That's why our

  40. great shepherd of the sheep, Jesus leads us to a quiet place where our

  41. soul can be restored. Our soul encompasses our mind, will and emotions.

  42. So Jesus is leading us to a quiet place to be still, so that

  43. our mind can be restored. Some of you, you have been bombarded in

  44. your mind with thoughts of confusion, depression, possibly taking your life, anxiety,

  45. fear. I mean, look, Jesus wants your mind to be calm

  46. and still. He wants your mind to be whole. He wants your thoughts,

  47. what you're thinking, to come into alignment with his word. So he

  48. is trying to get you this year to have your mind restored. He wants

  49. your will restored. Some of you have a very strong will and you don't

  50. want to submit to the Holy Ghost. Ah, I'll probably say this.

  51. Till Jesus comes, there has to be a surrendering of you your will to

  52. the Holy Ghost. And some of you are rebellious. You're arrogant, you're

  53. prideful. You do not want to submit your will and your plans to the

  54. Holy Ghost. And as long as you keep up that kind of attitude,

  55. you're going nowhere and I mean nowhere, and life is not going to be

  56. pleasant for you. So I would it would behoove you to just say,

  57. Lord, I want my will to align with your will period. I want

  58. the perfect will of God in my life. So yes, Jesus is leading

  59. us to that still water, that's quiet place, because he wants us to

  60. get our will in alignment with his will. If you refuse to go to

  61. the quiet place. If you refuse to be still, then you suffer the

  62. consequences. And lastly, our emotions. You know, some of you have

  63. emotions that are like a roller coaster. One day you're happy, one day

  64. you're sad. The next day you're ambivalent, anxious, fearful, you know,

  65. all kinds of emotions are just rolling around. Those emotions have to come

  66. under the control of the Holy Ghost. There has to be a place and

  67. a time where we walk in the peace of God, where we trust God

  68. and stop letting our emotions dictate how our life is going. Amen. Now,

  69. when those things are restored in the quiet place, then we can hear

  70. his voice clearly, and I mean clearly, to walk in the path of

  71. righteousness. As long as all that craziness is going on in your thought,

  72. life, your will, your emotions, you will not, I emphasize,

  73. will not walk in the path of righteousness. You will not. So this

  74. year twenty twenty four is like no other, Make no joke, this is

  75. like Noah. You will not be able to compare twenty twenty four to any

  76. other year you've ever experienced in your life. And you're going to have to

  77. step up to the plate. Listen to me carefully. You're gonna have to

  78. step up to the plate. You do not have much time to get things

  79. in order in your life. It's time to stop procrastinating, stop delaying,

  80. and start walking a straight path. You don't have time to fall in the

  81. ditch again and again and again. Put away worldly desires, worldly attractions.

  82. We live in a world where we are bombarded by all kinds of worldly distractions

  83. that want to pull us. I mean they literally pull on us. You

  84. get it from TV, social media. People in general go to a mall.

  85. It's like eye candy. There's every store pulling you and attracting you because

  86. they want your business. Not all worldly desires are sinful, but they do

  87. pull you from the things of God, and they will pull you away from

  88. spiritual things. I'm just telling you that's how it works. So if you

  89. keep being drawn into worldly, fleshly things, they may not be sinful,

  90. but they will draw you out of the will of the Lord, or they'll

  91. draw you away from the Lord, and before you know it, you're not

  92. even walking with the Lord. Want to talk to you out of Hebrews Chapter

  93. twelve tonight, Verse twelve says, therefore, strengthen the hands which hang down

  94. and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that

  95. what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. I'll stop

  96. there. Some of you. Your hands are weak, your knees are feeble.

  97. You don't know which way to go, you don't know which way to

  98. turn. You're unstable in all your ways. Well, here's what Hebrews says.

  99. This is the word of God to you. Make straight pass for your

  100. feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated. You're lame.

  101. You're lame in your spiritual walk. It's lame, and you need to be

  102. healed. Because you're walking to the left or you're walking to the right,

  103. but you are not walking the narrow way. Jesus talks about the narrow way.

  104. He says, broad is the road to destruction, but the way of

  105. the Lord is difficult and narrow, and few find it. Verse fourteen.

  106. Pursue peace with all people. I can tell you that's not always easy,

  107. but have that as a goal. Tell the Holy Spirit, I want to

  108. pursue peace with all people. I don't want to have drama. I don't

  109. want to have fights. Arguments with anyone. Then he says, pursue holiness.

  110. What is holiness. Holiness is simple. It's separation from the world.

  111. It's consecrating yourself to the Lord and saying I'm going to walk. I'm going

  112. to walk with you. I Am not going to walk with the things of

  113. the world any longer. I'm putting away the worldly attractions, the worldly desires.

  114. I'm putting that away. I don't want that. I want the spiritual

  115. things of the Lord. I want to walk in a place where it's pleasing

  116. to the Lord. And it says, it says this. It says,

  117. without which no one will see the Lord. See without holiness, without as

  118. setting yourself apart for the things of the Lord, you will not see the

  119. Lord. You cannot live one foot in the world and one foot foot in

  120. the church and think you're gonna make heaven. You're not. You're gonna go

  121. to hell. You're gonna go to hell. And I know what you're thinking,

  122. Oh, Dawn, that's rough. No, it's truth. Yeah,

  123. there's grace, but you can't keep abusing grace. There comes a time where

  124. you have to draw a line in the sand and stop it. And if

  125. you think the Lord. Oh he's long suffering. But then there comes a

  126. time, so I wouldn't play games with the Lord. If you got one

  127. foot in the world and one foot in the church, you better make up

  128. your mind which it's going to be, Because without holiness, with outsetting yourself

  129. apart from the world and consecrating your life to Christ, you're going to hell

  130. Verse fifteen. Looking carefully lest anyone falls short of the grace of God,

  131. Lest any root of bitterness bringing up cause trouble, and by this many become

  132. defouled. You hear what the writer says, looking carefully, You better be

  133. careful lest you fall short of the grace of God. Aha, did you

  134. know? Did you know that you could fall short of the grace of God?

  135. Says it right here, looking carefully, paying attention to your life,

  136. paying attention to decisions you make, carefully lest you fall short of the grace

  137. of God. Ooh, that's not a place you want to be. That

  138. is not good. Lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and

  139. by this many become defiled. I'll tell you what I have said this so

  140. many times, but I am telling you as sure as I'm sitting here.

  141. If you continue in unforgiveness, it will become bitterness, and you will go

  142. to Hell. You will not see heaven if you refuse to forgive, because

  143. Jesus said, if you can't forgive, I can't forgive. You. Read

  144. your bible, folks, time to read your bible. In twenty twenty four,

  145. this is Ephesians chapter four, verse seventeen. This I say, therefore

  146. and testify in the Lord Paul's writing to that church in Ephesus, he says

  147. that you should no longer walk as the rest of the gentiles walk in the

  148. futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life

  149. of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness

  150. of their heart, who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to

  151. lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you, he says,

  152. but you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and

  153. have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus, that you

  154. put off concerning your former conduct, the old man, which grows corrupt according

  155. to deceitful luss, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that

  156. you put on the new Man, which was created according to God in true

  157. righteousness and holiness. Hey, he's not talking to unbelievers here, folks,

  158. this is written to the church. So guess what. You have a group

  159. that are walking. You have a group of Christians that are walking like the

  160. gentiles, walk in the futility of their mind. Their understanding is darkened,

  161. they're alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance in them, and

  162. their heart is blinded. Oh my gosh, can you imagine? Well I

  163. can imagine because I know of two specific situations right now of two women who

  164. call themselves Christians, born again Christians, and they fall right into that category.

  165. I am telling you, I've never seen anything like it. You know,

  166. I wouldn't have believed it, but it's happening. These are people who

  167. are alienated from the life of God and they've given themselves over to lewdness and

  168. to work all uncleanness with greediness. Unbelievable. I'm not kidding you. These

  169. two women, what they have done is just it's mind boggling. It's shocking

  170. to me. And yet they'll talk to you about Jesus. Oh, they'll

  171. tell you about having communion. If I told you their evil deeds, you

  172. would think I was lying. But I'm not, unfortunately, and so here

  173. here's what Paul says. He says, but you have not so learned Christ.

  174. If you've heard him, you were taught by him, because the truth

  175. is in Jesus. And that you got to put off your former conduct,

  176. the old man who grows corrupt according to deceitful LUs see, and you've got

  177. to come to this place where you're renewed in the spirit of your mind,

  178. and that you put on the new man, which was created according to God,

  179. in true righteousness and holiness. There's that word again, holiness. Hebrews

  180. twelve. Going back to chapter twelve and Hebrews. Listen, the writer says,

  181. see that you do not refuse him, Jesus who speaks. See that

  182. you do not refuse Jesus who speaks. For if they didn't not escape who

  183. refused him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we

  184. turn away from him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth.

  185. But now he has promised, saying, yet once more, I shake

  186. not only the earth but also Heaven. Now this yet once more, Yet

  187. once more Jesus saying indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken,

  188. as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may

  189. remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken,

  190. let us have grace by which we may serve God acceptively. Blee with reverence

  191. and godly fear, for our God is a consuming fire. I'm telling you

  192. these scriptures I'm reading to you out of Ephesians and Hebrews. These are are

  193. you know, these are earth shaking, spiritual shaking scriptures. They're shaking me.

  194. We're to serve God with reverence and godly fear. And yet there are

  195. people out there like the two women I just mention out there. I mean,

  196. I swear to you, if I put him in front of this microphone,

  197. you would think that they were really, really Christians born again. And

  198. yet I'm telling you they're going straight to Hell if they don't repent. If

  199. they don't repent, repentance is important. Now let's take a moment. I

  200. am not going to finish tonight, dagone talk about David. I wanted to

  201. talk about people, real people in the Bible who understood this particular scripture and

  202. saw what God did. Now, David was a man after God's heart.

  203. Scripture says, Yet this same David committed adultery and he had his mistress's husband

  204. killed. Well, that's a great resume for a godly leader. The good

  205. news is David repentant. And I think how I'll end this. This message

  206. is really talking about repentance because see God's judgment for David's acts of sin was

  207. his firstborn son was died. And there comes a time when we have to

  208. come to a place of repentance where we recognize our sin and we ask God's

  209. forgiveness of that sin. He said, I'm faithful and just to forgive you

  210. your sins. If you confess your faults, I'm faithful and just to forgive

  211. your sins and wash them clean away. David understood that. It took him

  212. nine months to figure it out, but it wasn't because he figured it out

  213. on his own. The prophet had to come to him and tell him a

  214. little parable and suddenly David still didn't get it until the prophet said, you're

  215. the man. You're the man, and David's spiritual eyes opened and his spiritual

  216. heart opened and he realized what he had done. Mind you, Vashiba got

  217. pregnant immediately he had her husband killed. Pregnancy is nine months long, so

  218. it isn't until the baby dies. The baby is born dead. Nine months

  219. David hasn't recognized his sin, and then when he does, what does he

  220. do? He falls on his face and he repents. And that's literally what

  221. we have to do when we recognize the sin in our life, when we

  222. recognize that we have walked away, we have walked far are away. Some

  223. of you are far away, and you really need to draw close to the

  224. Lord. He'll draw close to you, it says, draw near to me,

  225. and I'll draw near to you. This is again, this is a

  226. time where you just don't have You don't have the time and the opportunity to

  227. fall on a ditch again. It's time to come up out of the ditch.

  228. It's time to come up out of the myrie clay and let the Lord

  229. set your feet upon the rock. And that only happens through repentance. There's

  230. no other way around that. You have to come to the place of recognizing

  231. your sin and being actually sorry for the sin, not worldly sorrow, but

  232. really saddened by how you've disappointed the Lord and repent and then let him wash

  233. that sin away and you move forward. You don't go into a place of

  234. self condemnation. Da da da da da. So I'm not going to get

  235. into David. We'll have to do David next week. This is probably going

  236. to end up turning. I can tell you right now it's going to turn

  237. into a four part series. But nevertheless, this is important for you to

  238. understand and to get in your spirit. Amen. So I want this how

  239. I want to close tonight. This is what I want you to say.

  240. Say this. The spirit of the Lord is upon me. The Spirit of

  241. the Lord has anointed me. I will go higher. Amen. Well,
