  1. Good evening. Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don Noble of Pure

  2. Heart Ministries, and I welcome you today with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy.

  3. Well before I begin tonight, I want to again mention that I teach a

  4. Bible study every Wednesday evening six pm at Top Hat Pools and Stoves. That's

  5. twenty two fifty eight, twenty two fifty eight Main Street, Wheeling, And

  6. I'm telling you you people need to get to this Bible study. I'm just

  7. going to keep harping on it because this I teach a phenomenal Bible study.

  8. I'm telling you you're going to need this for twenty twenty four and beyond.

  9. I don't know what Bible study you attend, but I'm telling you I and

  10. this is not a bragging thing. This is not a bragging thing. I

  11. teach by the Spirit. I teach the strong word of the Lord. I

  12. teach straight out of the Bible. And I'm encouraging you to get to this

  13. Bible study. So I'm expecting to see you Wednesday, six pm, Top

  14. Hadpools and Stoves, twenty two fifty eight Main Street, Wheeling, West Virginia,

  15. Okay. Tonight's message is sold out love. Remember the days when you

  16. fell in love with the love of your life. You then got engaged and

  17. marriage was soon to follow. No one, no one could have talked you

  18. out of that relationship. That person was all you could think about. It

  19. was like watching Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey after the Kansas City Chiefs won the

  20. Super Bowl last night. Yaoza. They just kept hugging and kissing and hugging

  21. and kissing. That looked to me like they were definitely sold out to each

  22. other. So I think you know what I'm talking about in the flesh.

  23. Now let's make that turn to the spiritual. How do you think God feels

  24. about us? Do you think he's madly in love with you? If you

  25. have no clue whether God loves you, let me just quote from Jeremiah thirty

  26. one to three. The Lord said to Jeremiah the prophet, this is what

  27. he said. Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore,

  28. with loving kindness I have drawn you. I don't know how many of

  29. you have had a person tell you I have loved you with an everlasting love.

  30. But the Lord the Christ said that to Jeremiah In the book Song of

  31. Solomon, a book that very few people read, the Shulamite woman writes to

  32. the Daughters of Jerusalem, Chapter two, verse four, and this is what

  33. she says. She says, he brought me to the banqueting table, and

  34. his banner over me was love. Now, this whole book is allegorical,

  35. referring to the bride of Christ the church, and Christ is the head,

  36. but it uses Solomon and the Shulamite woman. So his banner over us as

  37. believers in Christ is love. That banner hangs over us. In other words,

  38. the whole thing, the whole thing about Christ is love, and that

  39. banner hangs over you and me. David wrote in Psalm one thirty nine Versus

  40. seventeen and eighteen. He wrote this, He said, how precious also are

  41. your thoughts, meaning God's thoughts to me? Oh God? So how precious

  42. are your thoughts to me? Oh God? How great is the sum of

  43. them? If I should count them, they would be more in number than

  44. the sand. Now those words sound like someone madly in love. I mean,

  45. You're all I can think of. My mind is swarming with thoughts of

  46. you. I can't get you off my mind. You're thinking about you.

  47. It's just greater than all the sands of the seashores. Imagine how many thoughts

  48. of love and goodness God has toward us. You know, that's an important

  49. principle, just to get that, to grasp it, to remember it.

  50. Because we have an enemy and adversary called the devil, who constantly wants to

  51. make us think and make us believe that God does not love us. Especially

  52. when you encounter some very difficult situation and you feel like you're at the bottom

  53. of the pit. The devil will come and say, ah, see God

  54. doesn't really love you. See you're in this pit. He's left you there.

  55. Look how bad your situation is. God doesn't really love you. That

  56. is a lie, and that is a lie from the pit of hell.

  57. That's why it's important that you read God's word because it renews your mind,

  58. renews your mind to the truth of who you are and what God says about

  59. you. I just read you from Jeremiah, from the Song of Solomon,

  60. from psalmone thirty nine about God's love for each and every one of us.

  61. So that statement alone, in Some one thirty nine, that one statement lets

  62. us know that you and I cannot fathom how great God's love is for us.

  63. We don't really have a clue. We really cannot wrap our mind around

  64. how deep his love is for us. It is a it is a sold

  65. out love. God is sold out to us, and he loves us.

  66. This coming Wednesday, February fourteenth is Valentine's Day, and it's always a good

  67. time to have a heart check up, you know, just like some of

  68. you have to go to the car cardiologist to get your heart check, but

  69. instead we're going to our heavenly Father to have him check us out. So

  70. he's asking each of you this question. Are you sold out for him?

  71. Is your love for Jesus sincere committed, unchangeable? Is your love intense,

  72. rich, deep, and forever. Here's a good test The Old Testament talks

  73. about the Covenant of circumcision, and at that point in time, all of

  74. God's children were to be circumcised at the age of eight, and of course

  75. it started with Father Abraham. Now that poor man had to be circumcised at

  76. the age of ninety nine years old. Exodus seventeen twenty four tells us,

  77. So, if you're a guy and you're listening to this, say ouch,

  78. Oh, now that was a sign of God's covenant with Abraham. But when

  79. we get to the New Testament, Paul has to deal with this issue of

  80. circumcision because he was a Jew, and yet he was called to preach to

  81. the Gentiles. And Paul makes it clear that it is not necessary to be

  82. circumcised because they're under the new covenant established by Jesus, which is circumcision of

  83. the heart. Now, Paul writes to the Roman believers in Chapter two,

  84. verses twenty eight and twenty nine, he says this. He says, for

  85. he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which

  86. is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly.

  87. And circumcision is that of the heart in the spirit, not in the

  88. letter, whose praise is not from men, but from God. So Paul's

  89. making it very clear. The circumcision we're talking about now is of the heart

  90. in the spirit. In other words, it's not some law written down on

  91. a piece of paper that you're going to follow like they did in the Old

  92. Testament. Time. Then in Romans Chapter four, verses ten through sixteen,

  93. Paul is making the case that righteousness was accounted to Abraham before he was circumcised,

  94. because it was according to Abraham's faith, not because of an act of

  95. circumcision. And he goes on to say that circumcision was just a seal of

  96. the righteousness of his faith. And when you read those verses in chapter four

  97. of Romans ten through sixteen, I mean on through this whole process. I

  98. mean, he he, you know, slices and dices, it all up

  99. in a neat little package. I'm just giving you the quick version of it.

  100. But if you want to read that for yourself, you may. But

  101. basically, what I'm telling you is that righteousness was accounted to Abraham not because

  102. of he was circumcised, because that was accounted to him before he was ever

  103. circumcised, and it was according to his faith, not by this physical act.

  104. What we do in the spirit realm, in fact, everything we do

  105. in the spiritual realm is done by faith. We are not doing physical acts

  106. to prove our salvation, our justification. We don't do any of that by

  107. a physical act, other than we do repeat a prayer or say a prayer

  108. to the Lord. But we do that by faith. So everything that we

  109. do now as believers, since Jesus rose and is seated at the right hand

  110. of the Father, everything we do we're doing by faith that we cannot see

  111. it. I mean, we don't see Jesus, but we believe by faith

  112. that he is who he is, because the Word says when we read God's

  113. word, we are actually reading God's word by faith. You know, I

  114. was sharing with someone recently the difference between facts and truth. You know,

  115. facts are what you see in the natural. You know, the truck is

  116. blue, the bridge is across the river, but in but truth is what

  117. the Bible says. So I may say, you know, something like he

  118. is a bad guy, So I'm basing that on the fact that I saw

  119. him steal something. So he's a thief. I saw him steal out of

  120. this store. But in the spirit realm, I don't want to see him

  121. out of that fleshly objective, natural realm. I want to see him out

  122. of the spiritual realm, meaning that I want to see him as God sees

  123. him. How does God see this man who just stole out of the grocery

  124. store. God loves him, God's for him. God wants to help this

  125. person see that they have a future a hope and a destiny, and that

  126. stealing is not part of that destiny. So in the spiritual realm, we're

  127. always seeing things from God's perspective, regardless of what we see in the natural.

  128. So just remember that fact is what you see in the natural. Truth

  129. is what God says about any situation or an individual person. Truth is what

  130. the Bible says. Fact is what you see in the natural. Paul continues

  131. to teach the Corinthian believers. In First Corinthians seven nineteen, he says this.

  132. He says, circumcision is nothing, an uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping

  133. the commandments of God is what matters. So he's negated the whole thing.

  134. Circumcisions nothing. If you're uncircumcised, it's nothing. But what is important is

  135. keeping the commandments of God. In Galatians five to six, Paul writes this,

  136. for in Christ, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything but faith working through

  137. love. Again, the key is the word faith, faith working through love.

  138. That's what avails, not whether in the physical you've been circumcised or uncircumcised.

  139. And of course I'm presuming that all the men understand what I'm talking about

  140. the I'm sure they do. In case the women don't, I don't know,

  141. ask your husband or look it up in the dictionary. The question is,

  142. then, have you allowed the spirit, the Holy Spirit? Have you

  143. allowed the Holy Ghost to circumcise your heart? Because Paul talked about circumcising the

  144. heart, meaning what that means is we allow the Holy Spirit to remove the

  145. flesh. In the natural. We would call that the foreskin, and that

  146. represents flesh in the natural, but we're speaking about spiritual flesh. So the

  147. natural is the is the picture. You can see that picture in your mind,

  148. but we're talking spiritual and that spiritual flesh need it's cut off of our

  149. heart. It's like removing the foreskin off our heart. We want a heart

  150. that's pure before God. Amen. And here's what Paul says in the Book

  151. of Galatians, chapter five, sixteen through twenty six. And before I go

  152. on, I want to say, you know, Paul, Paul addressed this

  153. circumcision issue in so many books of the Bible. I mean, because there

  154. were always Jewish believers trying to bring that subject up as if that was important,

  155. and Paul just crushes the whole idea. But this is what Paul says

  156. in Galatians five sixteen through twenty six. I'm reading everything today. I should

  157. have told you that from the beginning. I'm reading everything out of the New

  158. King James version. Paul says this. He says, I say, then

  159. walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

  160. For the flesh luss against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh.

  161. And these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do

  162. the things that you wish. But if you are led by the spirit,

  163. you're not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident.

  164. In other words, everybody can see these works of the flesh adultery, fornication,

  165. uncleanness, lewdness, which is even a more worse picture of uncleanness.

  166. It's taking that to a whole other degree. Idolatry, sorcery, hatred,

  167. contentions, fighting among one another, spouses, children, parents, fighting,

  168. jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

  169. murders, drunkenness, revelries. You know, revelries are kind of like outlandish

  170. parties where there would be drunkenness, drugs, you know, like outlandish like

  171. behavior, over the top and the like Paul says, of which I tell

  172. you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those

  173. who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit

  174. of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, which is

  175. patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against

  176. such there is no law. And those who are Christs have crucified the flesh

  177. with its passions and desires. If we live in the spirit, let us

  178. also walk in the spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

  179. enving one another. And that's really what circumcision of the heart is all

  180. about. It's crucifying the flesh with its passions and desires. That's what the

  181. flesh is all about. If you don't understand what the flesh is, it's

  182. about your passions, it's about your lusts, it's about your desires, good

  183. or bad. Flesh is flesh. You can have fleshly desires that are not

  184. necessarily sinful, but they're still fleshly desires. So we want to walk in

  185. the spirit, and we want to live in the spirit. That's why the

  186. importance of circumcising the heart, crucifying the flesh. In Galatians six point fifteen,

  187. Paul makes his final appeal about circumcision, and he says, for in

  188. Christ, for in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything but a

  189. new creation. Paul doesn't give a hoot. He doesn't care one iota whether

  190. or not you are physically circumcised or not. It's about your heart. That's

  191. what it boils down to. Are you a new creation? Are you born

  192. again? And if you're born again, see, there's this work that has

  193. to be done in us. And that's where we allow the Holy Spirit to

  194. do that work, because you can't do it. You cannot do it in

  195. the flesh. No way, not possible. Paul addresses this again in Ephesians

  196. chapter two and again in Philippians chapter three, and he basically says, if

  197. there is anyone who should have confidence in the flesh, it's him. And

  198. even more so, he says, because he was circumcised the eighth day of

  199. the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews,

  200. a pharisee. I mean, he gives his pedigree, but he says,

  201. I have no confidence in the flesh, none, zero, zero confidence

  202. in the flesh. That's Paul the Apostle. If Paul the Apostle says I

  203. have no confidence in my flesh, this is a brilliant man, A brilliant

  204. man. I mean, he probably would have been equivalent to one of these

  205. big shot lawyers. I mean, that's how much, that's how smart he

  206. was. But he says, I don't have any confidence in any of my

  207. flesh, and that his righteousness didn't come because he was brilliant or anything about

  208. his flesh or his pedigree. It came through faith only in Jesus Christ.

  209. Faith only see you and I have been given this precious gift of salvation,

  210. which gave us a new heart. Amen. The old stony, reprobate heart

  211. was removed, and we got a new heart filled with God's spirits, so

  212. that we should want and desire to keep that temple clean. A circumcised heart

  213. is one that is not operating out of our flesh, the needs, our

  214. desires, our lusts, our wants. But we live surrendered to the spirit

  215. of the Living God, living a holy life that pleases the Lord. Now

  216. Valentine's Day is a day to express love and kindness to those we love.

  217. I mean, people give gifts of candy, flowers and cards, and you

  218. know, maybe make a special dinner for their loved one. There's all sorts

  219. of ways of expressing your love to someone that you care about. So how

  220. about adding the Lord to that list on Valentine's Day? See a circumcised heart

  221. is this It's a heart that is a sold out heart and sold out to

  222. the love of God, desiring to express his love to as many as we

  223. can. The scripture says love has been shed abroad in your heart. Now

  224. it's our duty to express that love, the love of God Christ's love to

  225. as many people as we can. So let this Valentine's Day be a turning

  226. point for you. Tell the Lord, I want to rid my heart of

  227. everything and anything that doesn't belong there, be completely sold out to him.

  228. I'm going to leave you with this word from Paul that he wrote to the

  229. Colossians in Chapter two, verses two and three. This is what Paul wrote.

  230. He says that their hearts may be encouraged being knit together in love and

  231. attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the knowledge of the

  232. mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are

  233. hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Paul once wanted their hearts to

  234. be encouraged. He wanted their hearts to be knit together in love, and

  235. that they would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding and

  236. knowledge of God and Christ, because he said in them, in the Father

  237. and in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And that

  238. is folks, that's my prayer for you this coming Valentine's Day, that you

  239. would come to the place where you would find all the hidden treasures of wisdom

  240. and knowledge in Christ and God the Father. Amen, And that you would

  241. be completely completely sold out to Him forever. Hallelujah. Well, this is
