  1. Good evening. Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don Noble of Pure

  2. Heart Ministries, and I welcome you today with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy.

  3. I have a very special guest today. I have Edwin Black, who is

  4. a New York Times best selling author of the book IBM and the Holocaust,

  5. and of course many other books. Edwin is a world renowned speaker, and

  6. he's a defender of human rights and in particular the Jewish people. He is

  7. going to be speaking, and I want to say this right up front because

  8. we may get into a conversation and I may not have time. But Edwin

  9. is going to be here in the Ohio Valley next Monday evening, March eleventh,

  10. seven pm, Temple Shalom, twenty three, Bethany Pike, Wheeling,

  11. West Virginia. Everyone is welcome, It is free. You do need to

  12. RSVP, so you can call this number. This is the Temple Shalom office

  13. three four two three three four eight seven oh. Edwin is going to be

  14. speaking on the topic a riveting presentation titled Israel and International Law the Historical Underpinnings.

  15. Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. Edwin Black thank you so much,

  16. Dawn for having me, and I'm really looking forward to our three state gathering

  17. at Temple Shalam. And it's long, it's long overdue, and I'm eager

  18. to answer your questions. Great. So I've never had any one of your

  19. caliber on my programs, so forgive me, I'm a little I'm a little

  20. nervous. But the first thing I want to ask you, if you would

  21. address, are the historical claims to the land of Israel, because, as

  22. most of us know, what hap and on October seventh, it seems that

  23. that really stirred up this whole conversation that you know, so many claiming that

  24. Israel has no right to that land. Now biblically, my listeners and I

  25. know and you know that they do. But could you just take a moment

  26. and explain to us those historical claims. It's the perfect question and it's the

  27. answer which is bringing me to Wheeling next week. So, first of all,

  28. your listeners already know the claim to the land of Israel from the Word

  29. of God. But now I'd like to answer, what is the claim according

  30. to the word of international law? What is the claim regarding the word of

  31. written history? And factual past. So everything now is being turned upside down,

  32. and the people who are turning it upside down are depending and hoping for

  33. and trying to cultivate an uninformed public and a witless public that they can confuse

  34. with false claims of settler colonialism, which is false, false claims of genocide.

  35. They're the ones who are the settlers and the colonialists. They're the ones

  36. who are the committers of genocide. I'll try to explain it. I'm going

  37. to condense a two hour exposition into a few moments. Everyone knows that when

  38. the Jews were expelled from Israel, the Romans renamed renamed the land Palestine,

  39. Syria, Palestina. And the word Palestine has nothing to do with Arabs.

  40. It applies to Greek islanders to pushtine. And these were the Philistines, and

  41. these were the enemies of the Jews. So the Romans tried to wipe that

  42. away. When the after Mohammed came onto the scene, just after six twenty

  43. seven, the Arabs launched their conquest of three continents, and they became the

  44. colonialists. They became the settlers in order to have a colony. The colony

  45. is a territory which sends stuff back to the mother country. Well, Israel's

  46. not sending anything back to any mother country. But when the Arabs conquered North

  47. Africa, parts of Asia, all of the Middle East, the southern part

  48. of Europe, they established colonies and they sent things back to the Caliphate.

  49. So you have to ask yourself, how did the Arabs, who are the

  50. descendants of the Arabian Peninsula, get from Mecca all the way to Morocco and

  51. all the way up to Spain. Answer every scholar knows the Islamic and Arab

  52. conquest, and that was convert or die. After four hundred and fifty years

  53. of Turkish Islamic ownership where these were once again colonies administered by the Ottoman Empire,

  54. the Ottomans lost the war along with Germany, and the League of Nations

  55. set about dismantling all these colonialist empires, and that included the Ottoman Empire,

  56. and that meant that they were going to create countries that never existed before out

  57. of Arab tribes, and so they invented Lebanon. The League of Nations invented

  58. Lebanon, Syria, Transjordan, Iraq, modern Hijaz, which is Saudi Arabia

  59. modern Egypt, and one Jewish state. Now, the League of Nations couldn't

  60. create a state. The United Nations have no right to create a state.

  61. But it has the right to propose a state. And if those people will

  62. rise up and declare their own statehood, then they can. Then they can

  63. recognize that state, and then that state becomes a member of the Community of

  64. Nations. And so we have the so called Balfour Declaration, which was mimicked

  65. in numerous other countries, including France, including Japan, Turkey, Germany,

  66. the United States States all issued their own version of the Balfour Declaration, and

  67. this gave the Jews the right to come back to their homeland from which they

  68. had been ousted. The Arabs refused to join, and because they refused to

  69. join, they got a consolation prize. In nineteen twenty two, Winston Churchill

  70. said, we'll give you yet another invented state, and that new invented state

  71. was called Jordan. And they carved Jordan out of seventy three percent of the

  72. Jewish state that was promised to the Jews. Okay, so first we had

  73. a five state solution, then we had a two state solution. And then

  74. the Arabs wouldn't go along with that. And finally, in nineteen forty eight,

  75. you have another suggestion. Nothing in nothing binding under international law. But

  76. they said, we suggest an Arab state, and we suggest a Jewish state

  77. independent, not under the governance of the League of Nations. Now is the

  78. time. We've had enough for the squabbling. Make your own states. The

  79. Jews said, okay, and the Arab said no way. So the Jews

  80. legally created their independent state, or shall I say re created their independent state.

  81. The Arabs, which already had seven other states, said we're just just

  82. not willing to live next door to the Jews, and so you had the

  83. first Arab Israeli War in nineteen forty eight. Now it's important to understand that

  84. as part of this sharad and confusion. I know you're going to find this

  85. hard to believe, but the Arabs were never considered Palestinians until May of nineteen

  86. sixty four when the when the KGB, the Russian KGB, working with the

  87. Arab League, created the PLO. Prior to this, all references to Palestinians

  88. meant Jewish Zionists. That means the organization to bring Jews in was called the

  89. Jewish Agency for Palestine. Their football club was called the Palestine Football Club.

  90. The major newspaper was the Palestine Post known as the Jerusalem Post. The big

  91. bank was the Anglo Palestine Bank now known as Bank Loomi. The symphony was

  92. the Palestine Symphony Orchestra. If you go back and watch Exodus with Paul Newman,

  93. they're constantly calling the Palestinian John Wayne in casta giant shadow. What the

  94. hell is wrong with you Palestinians. They're always talking about Jews. So what

  95. happened in May of nineteen sixty four is part of a Cold war strategy.

  96. There was an identity theft, and the Arabs, who had been claiming for

  97. decades that there was no such thing as a Palestinian and no such place as

  98. Palestine, now said we're the Palestinians, not the Jews, and this is

  99. our land and there is a Palestine. And so you understand the basis at

  100. which everything was overturned. People didn't have the perspective. Israel kept trying to

  101. have a Western attitude, where you fight, you survive, you get to

  102. a stalemate, and you make a peace treaty. That's not how it works.

  103. Not. That's not how it works in the Arab world. It works

  104. that way in London, it works that way in Paris, it works that

  105. way in Washington, and in the Middle East. At the concept of a

  106. strong horse, the guy with the muscles, the guy who wins big,

  107. that's the guy who is respected. These treaties are considered a sign of weakness,

  108. and they don't really have a word for peace treaty. What they have

  109. is a word called kudna. Kudna hud Na means a truth, that is

  110. a pause between battles. So right now, because we have a completely illiterate

  111. youth, because there's been a forty to fifty year struggle, starting back in

  112. the sixties, to innervate our entire society with false history from the campus to

  113. the boardroom to the media. All the history that has been well established and

  114. well enshrined in which I intend to fully document with images and illustrations for everyone

  115. to see and everyone will have a radically different viewpoint, all of that has

  116. been turned upside down. And basically it's nineteen eighty four, George orwell two

  117. plus two is now five. But in history, in international law, the

  118. reality is that Israel is not violating any in any international law. It has

  119. a right to defend itself in the United States, and no one else has

  120. a right to tell Israel to die quickly, slowly, or any other way.

  121. Israel has the right to self defense in the same way as all other

  122. countries. Remember, we did Dresden, we did Hiroshima, we did Tokyo,

  123. we did North Korea. We carpetbombed Normandy under UH to facilitate the Normandy

  124. invasion UH. We carpet bombed Mosel to get rid of Isis. So there's

  125. a long tradition of doing what needs to be done. And you need to

  126. understand that in Gaza we have a culture, a generation, a culture of

  127. death and destruction and torment. The UH, the Gaza a capsule needs to

  128. be compared to Hitler's Germany, where even the Hitler youth, where even the

  129. Hitler youth was trained to hate and to kill. And so there has to

  130. be a full generation, a full generation of reconstruction before the hate UH cradle

  131. to grave hate and terrorism ethic of Gaza is replace with a de radicalization.

  132. Just as there was the Nazification deposification in Iraq and the Isisification in mosul Well,

  133. I want to say that you have a you have a very important voice

  134. in our culture today and the things that you've just shared. And I know

  135. you just touched the top of the cake here, but while see, uh

  136. we it's not just the children there are Look at all the adults that are

  137. totally ignorant, ignorant of the historical events. Most people don't know all the

  138. history that you just laid out, which is phenomenal. That's why I know

  139. I'm looking forward to hearing you, uh you know, explain the whole thing

  140. again and the the pictures, et cetera. But I want to conclude.

  141. We just have a few minutes left. I'd like you to talk about what

  142. do you see for the future of Israel bad I see a full generation.

  143. I see a full generation of recovery. This is not an emergency for Israel.

  144. This is not a war. This is the struggle of mankind for dark

  145. or light. This is the existential threat what I what I have called World

  146. War Jay. And there's no Jewish leader, or no informed Jewish person that

  147. I know who disagrees with what I say. The Jews are facing dispossession all

  148. across the planet as a result of October seventh, because what October seventh is

  149. what it did, What was to break open the cellar door, and the

  150. Antisemites and the evil ones are out and they're not going back in. I

  151. am telling you that while the Jews are fighting for survival in the Holy Land,

  152. there's also Jews fighting for survival to stay afloat in the UK, in

  153. the US, in Canada, a woman, the rise of anti Semitism is

  154. astonishing, a woman who's just banished from her gymnasium for making a Jewish star

  155. on the shower from the steam. Jews are afraid to go to their synagogues.

  156. Jews are afraid to go to their dollars. The pro Palestinians have decided

  157. that their way past petitions, way past letters to the editor, way past

  158. informative events at Temple Shalom, and they're going right for the street violence.

  159. And this is a well known procedure, a well known phenomenon called the Arab

  160. Street. And the Arab Street means that the type of violence that we saw

  161. on October seventh was actually replicated on June one, nineteen forty one, in

  162. Baghdad with the Arab Nazi riots called the Farhood, which I wrote a book

  163. on and I was the one to declare International Farhood Day. The same thing

  164. occurred on nineteen in nineteen twenty nine in Ivron, where they crucified Christian traveler

  165. and beheaded people and bake the baker in his own oven. In Havron,

  166. another riot. And these types of rides have gone on for decade after decade,

  167. in generation after generation. And it's a well known term called the Arab

  168. Street. It's painful to say, we can't think the way we want to

  169. think. We have a fight. We fought with Japan, we fought with

  170. Germany, we fought with Mexico, we fought with Italy, and now we

  171. come to peace and move on. Unfortunately, Israel is just waking up to

  172. the fact that it became intoxicated with Western values of goodness, Western values of

  173. peace. And they said, well, we'll just help raise the standard of

  174. living, will just give people medical attention and all sorts of things that will

  175. and and we'll make things better. And now we know that the at the

  176. most left wing peace necks, the ones who were doing the most to ferry

  177. the gossens to hospitals. It was those people who were the first victor,

  178. h the first victims. And now what Israel has said is we will not

  179. live this way anymore, especially since Hamas has promised, repeatedly, promised,

  180. repeatedly to commit more October seventh, Yes, and annually. And the prospect

  181. of a two state solution is absolutely boulder dash. Nobody knows what are the

  182. the alignes of this two state solution. No one knows who would govern it.

  183. The Palestinian Authority, which was a fiction created by Oslo, claims that

  184. they'll turn it over to Hamas. And all you're asking for with a two

  185. state solution now is continuous, day to day, year in year out,

  186. street the street massacres throughout God's Holy Lands and the state of Israel. And

  187. that will not be Biden can make it come. Biden can make it happen.

  188. The UN can't make it happen. Happen. Obviously, there's a lot

  189. more to say than we can in this short interview. But the Jews are

  190. going to commit the crime of insisting on survival. And it is a question,

  191. an existential question, and if the question a question I cannot answer,

  192. of whether the Jews will survive not only in television, but in Toledo,

  193. and in Tucson, and in Brooklyn, and in Miami. For heaven's sakes,

  194. in New York, this big Jewish city, New York, the Jews

  195. are afraid to go outside of their house, to go to to go their

  196. synagogues, to go on the sub to go on the subway, to go

  197. on the college camp, to go on the college campus. This is now

  198. a very real threat. My own father, who was a partisan Polish fighter

  199. against the Nazis in during the Holocaust, just died, and he lived almost

  200. one hundred years, just long enough to see the phrase never again become never

  201. again is now well. I'm so sorry for the loss of your father,

  202. But you come from good stock. You're a defender of things that are good

  203. and things that are right. And we're living in perilous times. Edwin the

  204. apostle Paul wrote to his son in the faith, Timothy, and he said

  205. that these are perilous times. He said, men will be lovers of themself,

  206. lovers of money, boasters, proud blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,

  207. unholy, unloving, unforgiving slanderers without self control, brutal despisers of good,

  208. traders, headstrong haughty lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. And

  209. it's almost as if Paul was living now writing that to the church today,

  210. because that's exactly how people act today, including children. So we're living in

  211. a very critical time and I'm so excited that doctor Blank decided to bring you

  212. to our community. I feel this is going to be one of the most

  213. important talks that we're going to be exposed to, and thank Goodness for that.

  214. But your voice, as I said early, is so important. And

  215. the more you speak out and the more places that you're able to go across

  216. the world and share this information because I'm sure, as as I can speak

  217. for many adults in the United States, we're not privy to this historical information.

  218. Most of the world is not either, So in fact, I don't

  219. know how many Jewish people living in the Land of Israel know all of those

  220. specific facts as well. But you're a voice, and I applaud you and

  221. I thank you for being on this program today, sharing your heart, sharing

  222. the truth, sharing historical fact and so I know I'm looking forward to having

  223. you in our community and to share again it is the truth. And as

  224. I just shared a snippet of the truth of the Gospel. You are going

  225. to be sharing a snippet or more than that of the historical truth of the

  226. land of Israel. So I hope you'll come back Edwin and share some more

  227. information anytime. You are welcome on this program. I loved having you today.

  228. Well, I'm certainly ready to come back. I've enjoyed my message.

  229. I'll see you and I'll see everyone within your listening audience at Temple Shalom,

  230. and I will just leave you with this thought. I'm not sure where this

  231. is written in the Bible or whether it was left out of the canonized works,

  232. but this is what the Jewish people know. If the Jews go on

  233. Saturday, guess what I know, go ahead and finish it. You're next.

  234. I know, yeah, I don't think it's it's biblical. I don't

  235. know. I don't know that scripture, but I can tell you this that

  236. I could. I'll leave it on this note. One of the great things

  237. being a Christian and understanding the scriptures, both the Old and New Testament,

  238. is at one day, whether the Palestinians and those who support the Palestinians like

  239. it or not, Jerusalem will be the eternal capital of the world in the

  240. Millennial Kingdom, so you know they might as well get used to it now.

  241. Anyway, Thank you again, Edwin, look forward to have you in

  242. our community. This is Don Noble. You can go to www dot pureheart

  249. of your prayers. That's important to me. And I just want to end

  250. with a little reminder. Edwin Black will be speaking Monday, March eleventh,

  251. Temple Shallom, seven pm, Wheeling, West Virginia. Don't forget to RSVP

  252. three oh four two three three for eight seven. Oh. Well, this
