  1. Good evening. Welcome to voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don

  2. Noble of Pure Heart Ministries, and I welcome you to

  3. day with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy. Well, it's good

  4. to be with you this evening. Tonight's message is a

  5. question the darkest of times. As I sat early this

  6. morning in my easy chair in the library room, I

  7. had a perfect view of my flagpole. I watched Old

  8. Glory slowly flapping in the breeze, and I wondered about

  9. our nation, the brave men and women who stood in

  10. the days of the American Revolution to make us free

  11. from the tyranny of the British, the Black Robed Regiment,

  12. the preachers and pastors who stood so bravely to help

  13. ignite and fight in that revolution. How could we be

  14. so far from the days of revival and awakening that

  15. occurred several years prior to the American Revolution with the

  16. preaching of George Whitfield. Now George Whitfield was British. He

  17. was great friends with the Wesley Brothers who started the

  18. Methodist movement. George Whitfield spread the Great Awakening Revival which

  19. to helped unite the colonies prior to the Revolutionary War,

  20. so the Lord used Whitfield to unite the colonists to

  21. be able to fight in that war. His preaching stirred

  22. crowds with enthusiasm. He was actually kicked out of churches,

  23. so he began preaching outdoors to crowds as large as

  24. twenty five thousand people. Benjamin Franklin wrote in his autobiography

  25. that George Whitfield's voice could be heard over five hundred

  26. feet away. Franklin said, I had the curiosity to learn

  27. how far he could be heard by retiring backwards down

  28. the street, and found his voice distinct until I came

  29. near Front Street. Well, that's Benjamin Franklin. The scientists. Franklin

  30. went on to write multitudes of all denominations attended his sermons.

  31. It seemed as if all the world were growing religious,

  32. so that one could not walk through the town in

  33. an evening without hearing psalms sung in different families of

  34. every street. At a time in history when most countries

  35. had established state religions which mandated adherents, it was novel

  36. for Whitfield to champion in America freedom of conscience, for

  37. people to have the opportunity to make a voluntary choice

  38. to believe the Gospel. This controversy was called old Lights

  39. who emphasized tradition versus New Lights who were open to

  40. a move of the Holy Spirit. And I'd like to

  41. add my commentary here. I disdain traditional churches that refused

  42. to allow the move of the Holy Spirit. So I'm

  43. in the New Lights camp. Amen Franklin printed Whitfield's journal

  44. and sermons, and he also helped finance the building of

  45. an auditorium for Whitfield to preach in, after which eventually

  46. turned into the University of Pennsylvania. For over a century,

  47. a bronze statue of George Whitfield has stood on the

  48. University of Penn's campus in the dormitory quadrangle near where

  49. College House. In twenty twenty, as part of the cancel culture,

  50. the University of penn voted to remove the statue. This

  51. tactic is called deconstruction, and it is a process of

  52. intentionally separating a nation from its past in order to

  53. transition into a socialist future. So we have seen over

  54. the last couple of years during the Biden Harris administration,

  55. we have seen this cancel culture, or this deconstruction at work,

  56. tearing down monuments of famous people, just it's insane. Cancel

  57. culture was part of the excuse me was part of

  58. the French Revolution, tearing down the statue of the Good

  59. King Henry in seventeen ninety two. Oh And they also

  60. publicly burned the remains of Saint Genevieve, the patron saint

  61. of Paris. In seventeen ninety three, Stalin changed the name

  62. of Saint Petersburg in Russia to Leningrad. Mao Zedung's Cultural

  63. Revolution destroyed numerous Chinese artifacts, including Beijing's ancient Gate of China.

  64. And here we are in America in twenty twenty four,

  65. with a current Marxist government swiftly moving Joe Biden out

  66. of the picture, placing him with Kamala Harris as the

  67. Democratic front runner after attempting to assassinate a past president

  68. and leading candidate for the twenty twenty four election. Folks,

  69. things are moving at warp speed so that we as

  70. citizens don't have time to keep our footing. It's on

  71. purpose to keep us off balance. It's a tactic of

  72. the left. And last week I mentioned about a prophet

  73. that I follow, that I respect, and I just recently

  74. heard him say that he heard the Lord tell him

  75. that the Democratic National Convention, which starts tonight, that there's

  76. going to be something tragic, something tragic is going to occur.

  77. So we'll see, we'll see. Now, let me tell you

  78. how dangerous. Kamala Harris and Tim Waltzar Harris's parents were

  79. students at Berkeley and they were very active in a

  80. leftist black power group which was Marxist. This group supported

  81. Castro and Jay Gavera, two men who were part of

  82. that group, left to start the Black Panther Group, which

  83. was a Maoist militant group. After college, Kamala moved to

  84. San Francisco and had an affair with Willie Brown. He

  85. was sixty and married. She was thirty years old. Now,

  86. Willie Brown was very simpathetic to the Communist Party and

  87. the W. E. Dubois Party was Communist and Willie Brown

  88. surrounded himself with Communist sympathizers as late as two thousand.

  89. The year two thousand he was still supporting Communist Party

  90. events as well as Diane Feinstein, who empowered Communist China

  91. in the Bay Area. But the man who really helped

  92. Kamala Harris with her political career was a black man

  93. who was a law student at Stanford, and this fellow

  94. was openly a Marxist Leninist. He was a good friend

  95. of Maya Kamala's sister, and eventually he married Susan Sandler,

  96. a white woman from an ex extremely wealthy family. He

  97. was able to use that wealth to start a political

  98. action committee in two thousand and eight to get a

  99. ten million mass voter registration of blacks and Latinos in

  100. seventeen southern states. And that was after he met with

  101. his good friend George Soros in Atlanta, Georgia, and they

  102. concocted this plan. His other good friends were Nancy Pelosi

  103. and Barack Obama, and he helped Barack Obama win the

  104. White House in that primary against Hillary Clinton. So you

  105. can understand why Kamala Harris didn't pick Shapiro from Pennsylvania

  106. but Waltz from Minnesota, dream leftist just like herself, who

  107. started he started, He started the defund police movement all

  108. across the nation. I mean, this man is as bad

  109. as it gets. So what a combination we have here.

  110. I want you to go back and remember these last

  111. few years under the Biden Harris administration with regard to Israel,

  112. and in particular the last year when Kamala demanded just

  113. listen to this. Kamala demanded a political state be given

  114. to the Arab Palestinians that killed twelve hundred Jews and

  115. are still holding hostages, some of which are Americans. And

  116. just an fyi in case you don't remember, the one

  117. program I had probably about a month ago, Gaza is

  118. actually part of Israel and was given Yes, you heard

  119. me correctly, Gaza was given to the Palestinians by Israel

  120. in two thousand and five, and on purpose, Israel moved

  121. to moved ten thousand Jews who had been living in

  122. Gaza for over twenty five years. You talk about a

  123. bad policy, You talk about a really dumb move on

  124. Israel's part, really bad move, and they have suffered that decision.

  125. Do you think the Gousen people were grateful to get

  126. that land? Thankful? No, not at all. In fact, they

  127. burned every Jewish house and all their cattle and anything

  128. that belonged to the Jews once they moved out. When

  129. Benjamin Netanahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, was here recently,

  130. it was the first time that he had left Israel

  131. since October seventh, and guess what, Kamala Harris refused to

  132. be there. Now, the vice president is supposed to preside

  133. over the chambers, but not this vice president. And while

  134. Benjamin Nettunah, who was giving his speech, we had risk

  135. protesters out there destroying our national monuments, spray them with

  136. paint which said Hamas is coming, Death to America and

  137. death to the Jews. Folks. This is not free speech,

  138. this is terrorism. And what did the FBI do? Nothing? Nothing.

  139. This was worse than January sixth, very few arrests. Nothing

  140. was done to stop these people. So let me go

  141. back to my original question. Is this the darkest of times?

  142. Yes it is, Isaiah sixty said it would be. Is

  143. there hope for our nation? Yes there is. Many people

  144. are coming to Christ. We often don't hear the good news.

  145. We just hear the bad news. But there is an awakening,

  146. albeit small. But myself and many others believe the tsunami

  147. is coming and it's not gonna matter who's in office.

  148. It's not gonna matter what's going on on the national scene.

  149. That thing is gonna blow up and there is gonna

  150. be a mighty revival. You see, fear is not part

  151. of a Christian's lifestyle. It's not part of a strategy

  152. that we have. We don't have to fear now. I

  153. read this in Psalm ninety one this morning. I wanted

  154. to share this with you Versus one through Ford. It says,

  155. in you, O Lord, I put my trust. Let me

  156. never be put to shame. Deliver me in your righteousness

  157. and cause me to escape. Incline your ear to me

  158. and save me. Be my strong refuge to which I

  159. may resort continually. You have given the commandment to save me.

  160. For you are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O,

  161. my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out

  162. of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. For

  163. you are my hope, O Lord God, you are my trust.

  164. From my youth. I want to turn to Hoseiah, who

  165. is a minor prophet, and look at Chapter six, verses

  166. one through three. Joseah, the prophet writes this, come, let

  167. us return to the Lord. For he has torn, but

  168. he will heal us. He has stricken, but he will

  169. bind us up. After two days, he will revive us.

  170. On the third day he will raise us up that

  171. we may live in his sight. Let us know let

  172. us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth

  173. is established as the morning. He will come to us

  174. like the rain, like the latter and former rain to

  175. the earth. And I think that this is where we

  176. need to be. This is of part of an awakening individually,

  177. not just corporately, but individually. When he says, come, let

  178. us return to the Lord. And that's where our nation

  179. and we as individuals, we have to return to the Lord.

  180. We have to come back into full relationship with him.

  181. We need to pursue says, let us pursue the knowledge

  182. of the Lord. In other words, be still. Remember so

  183. I'm forty six y ten, Be still and know that

  184. I am God. There's a knowing of God that we

  185. need to have. And it's more than just a head

  186. knowledge of knowing God. It's a it's a heart issue.

  187. Do we know him in our heart? Have we come

  188. to the Lord? Have we returned our heart to the Lord?

  189. Because the Prophet rights, his going forth is established as

  190. the morning, he will come to us like the rain,

  191. like the latter and former rain to the earth. Now

  192. that symbolic that he's coming to us like a refreshing

  193. there's going to be a refreshing as ugly as all

  194. this is that I just painted a picture of. And

  195. it is ugly. I mean when I think about my

  196. nation being so Marxist, being so all of these politicians

  197. who have been working for years in the back round

  198. zombs to tear down this nation. And I tell you,

  199. on one hand, it looks like they're succeeding. But we

  200. have to keep our footing and we have to be stable.

  201. And you can only be stable. You can only be

  202. stable in the Lord. Amen, you cannot stay stable if

  203. you don't know Jesus. I'm just telling you you can't

  204. do it. It won't happen. Fear will set in and

  205. you'll be bouncing off the walls. So we maintain our

  206. footing by making the Lord our refuge. Like David said,

  207. you're my refuge, You're my fortress. I'm going to trust

  208. in you. That's how we keep the stable footing, because,

  209. as I mentioned last week, you're gonna need to keep

  210. your stable footing for all that's coming down the pike

  211. at us. I'm gonna turn to Psalm seven and share

  212. several other scriptures with you. Uh. This is Psalm seven,

  213. and by the way, I am reading out of the

  214. New King James version tonight, starting with verses fourteen through seventeen.

  215. This is David David is writing. Is he says, Behold,

  216. the wicked brings forth iniquity. Yes, he conceives trouble and

  217. brings forth falsehood. We're living in that day. We're living

  218. in a system right now where the wicked are bringing

  219. forth iniquity. Think about the Olympics opening ceremony, a gigantic

  220. scene of the Last Supper, I mean, totally blaspheme while

  221. a naked man painted blue, naked man is sitting in

  222. the middle of the table of the so called Last Supper.

  223. I mean, it doesn't get any more demonic, folks. And

  224. then the end of the Olympics, and I watched not

  225. an ounce of it, not And I didn't even see

  226. these things. I just saw pictures, you know, that came

  227. up on my phone. And of course it ended with

  228. the picture of a devil, really grotesque picture with like

  229. demons behind him. I mean it's almost, you know, it's

  230. almost humorous, but it's not so. The wicked brings forth

  231. iniquity sin. Yes, the wicked conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. Lies. Yes,

  232. he made a pit and dug it out and has

  233. fallen into the ditch which he made. Oh don't you

  234. like that? I really like that, because the wicked are

  235. making a pit, thinking and digging it out, thinking they're

  236. going to put us in the pit. But I have

  237. news for the wicked. It says they're going to fall

  238. in the ditch which they have made, and their trouble

  239. shall return upon their own head. So all the craziness

  240. and nonsense an evil wicked that our current government has,

  241. the Democratic Party has. They can make a pit. They

  242. can make a pit all they want, they can make

  243. it one hundred feet deep, and they can dig it

  244. all out, but they're going to fall in the ditch,

  245. and that same trouble is going to return on their

  246. own head. Now, I know, you know, I know some

  247. of you might be offended by me saying things about

  248. the Democrat Party, but you have to understand that the

  249. Democrat Party, unfortunately has been infiltrated by communists, Maoists, uh uh,

  250. you know, Leninist, Marxist way back. Look at all these

  251. people I'm talking about, they have all been infiltrated. No

  252. wonder they're under that satanic blanket being blinded, being deceived. Now,

  253. obviously I'm not talking about each individual person. You know,

  254. of course we want everyone to be saved, but there

  255. is a very wicked agenda that's being pushed forth. That's

  256. what I'm against. Okay, I'm against that agenda. I'm not

  257. against people because people are people and they don't know

  258. Jesus and they need to know Jesus, and we want

  259. them to know Jesus. But we'll see at this convention

  260. what the party platform will be. Now we know in

  261. the past couple elections, you know, they removed God, they

  262. removed I mean, they want abortion, want you know, things

  263. that we don't believe in. So we'll see if they

  264. come up with some new things. But nevertheless, they've been

  265. making a pit, they've been digging it out, and they're

  266. going to fall in the ditch that they have made.

  267. And the trouble, see, the trouble that they've been stirring,

  268. is going to come down on them and their violent dealing.

  269. Listen to this last part, and their violent dealing shall

  270. come down on their own crown. M Well, there you

  271. have it. What more do I need to say? Accept this.

  272. I'm going to take us back to where we need

  273. to be spiritually, be still and know that He is God.

  274. Be still, quiet yourself, get yourself in a place where

  275. you're being strengthened in your faith, in your love of God,

  276. your love of people, being obedient to the Lord, being

  277. obedient to his scriptures. This is going to be the

  278. safe place. Okay, this is where we need to hang

  279. out at least until the election, and then I'm sure

  280. that we're going to have to stay there. I don't

  281. think it's going to stop just because the election's over.

  282. But nevertheless, I want you to be strengthened. I want

  283. you to be hopeful. I want you to not walk

  284. in fear but in faith because Jesus is your strength,

  285. he's your fortress and so seventy one, he's your rock.

  286. He's your rock, and that rock is not gonna move. Amen.

  287. He's our hope. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus. Amen. Amen. Well,
