John 5 "He's about to Complete What He Started"

their finances, you're blessing their children, you're blessing every faith

that's connected them. Thank you for every miracle. Thank you

for making the way. Thank you for opening the door.

Thank you for granting unto them grace, mercy, and truth.

Thank you for the healing that's taking place in their body,

in their mind, in their spirit. I thank your Father

for the hand that I hold. I thank you that

this is a blessed hand. I thank you that this

is a hand of miracles. I thank you that this

is the hand God, that the hand of God is

on their life.

And so I thank you for answering every prayer.

Open up your mouth and begin to clap your hands.

Place, get your bibles. Get your bibles. Who are going

to John chapter five, John chapter five, John chapter five.

It is a very familiar passive scripture to those of

us who are in Christendom. But here in John five,

God is calling our attention.

John five reads verse one.

After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus.

Went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by

the sheep Gate.

A pool which is called in the Hebrew bethesda, having

five porches, and in these lay a great multitude of

sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of

the water. Verse four says, for an angel went down

at a certain time in the pool and stirred up

the water, and whoever stepped in first after the stirring

of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.

Verse five says, now a certain man, it does not

give his name. But a certain man was there who

had an infirmity for thirty eight years. But when Jesus

saw him lying, he knew that he had already been

in that condition a long time. He looks at the

longevity of his position and said, enough is enough. When

Jesus saw him lying there, knew that he had already

had been in that condition a long time. He said

to him, do you want to be made well? The

sick man answered him, sir, have no money to put

me into the pool. The water has stirred up. And

while I am coming, another steps down before me. But

Jesus said to him, rise up, take up your bed

and walk. Rise up, take up your bed and walk.

Rise up, take up your bed and walk. You can

take your seat, but just grab a neighbor and repeat.

I was up to saying, neighbor, he's about to complete

what he started. Look at somebody on the other side

and tell him, neighbor, he's about to complete everything that

he started last time.

I must share with you in my teaching this morning

so that you understand that twenty twenty five and our

crossing over has not been a mistake. I have spent

much time in the last two weeks of funeralizing, memorializing

those that the Lord has called home. And you must

rejoice in the fact that millions did not make it,

but you were one of the ones who did. The

fact that God has allowed us to cross over, to

cross over, to cross over, to cross over into the

beginning of a new year should say to all of us.

God has for our life purpose and he has a

plan for God to allow us to be living in

the year two thouy twenty five is to say that

we are chosen of God. But we cannot get excited

about being chosen, because the definition of being chosen means

that God has summons us and called us.

He has separated us from the rest and given distinction

to our life. It means, according to Bonhoeffer, that God

has picked on you in order for you to go

through things that others have survived and other folks didn't survive.

So for God to choose us means I've.

Been pulled out from the rest of them, and now

I am separated. But when we look at this, one

has to understand and if you have not written this down.

Please write this down.

Because at the end of the year it would become

a marker for you. Twenty twenty five is not only

a regular year, because the cycles of last year have

been broken when you crossed over. And as a saint

of God, you must understand that this is a prophet year.

This is not a usual year like every other year.

You're going to see things in this year that you've

never seen before. Miracles are taking place, and even as

I'm speaking, God is healing in the midst of the congregation.

And when you go back to look at what you

had last year, the doctor is going to confirm that

the Lord is a healer.

I'm trying not to get happy.

I'm trying to stay calm and teach this like I'm

supposed to. But I just got happy because I need

you to tap at least six folks on your row

and tell them God just heals you.

But not only is God healing.

Us from cancer and from sugar diabetes, and from backs

and from eye situations. God is healing our emotions. Because

you cannot go into this new year touchy feeling. You

can't go into this new year emotional and caught up

on who likes you and who does.

Not like you.

Preachers, you can't preach about those folks that did you

wrong in the past. I need everybody in this house

to say I forgive them, because where God is taking you,

you're going to understand that somethings had to happen. Lord

s I'm trying my best to stay calmed, but some

things God had to allow, some things God had to

release in order to release you where you're going. But

not only is this prophetic year, I come to submit

to you that this is also an apostolic year. This

is the year where folk will begin to speak over

your life. And I prophesied to somebody, I'm not trying

to prophesy. The damage that was done in your past

is getting ready to push you quicker into your future.

The things that folks thought that they were doing to

hurt you are the folks that lined up to be

against you, and the folks that stood in opposition of

your dreams and your promises have simply pushed you into

the place that God's about to do it. I need

you to touch at least one person on your road

and tell them God's about to do it. But you cannot.

You cannot bring the attitudes of last year. You can't

bring the hurt of last year. You can't bring the

frustration of last year. Tear up your list of folks

you want to get back at, Tear up your list

of folks who have done you wrong. Because sometimes folks

are brown. You have got to push you into your blessing.

So Lord Jesus helped me to teach you. I should

have brought the board out here. I wouldn't tune up

if I brought the board, And so we got to

see this through the eyes of God.

I come to submit to you.

You've been looking at things through your eyes and you

cannot see. You've been trying to figure out why folks have.

Treated you and set things to you.

God is trying to detach you from the thing that

has held you hostage. God's trying to remove some folks

from your life. And sometimes God's got to let folks

hurt you in.

Order for you to leave them.

Sometimes God has to let the situation get so bad,

and he has to let it get so damn that

you up your hands and say enough is enough. Sometimes

God's gotta let folks get on your last nerve. He's

got to let folks almost drive you crazy before you

understand I'm special to God and since he has his

hands on me, you gotta be crazy if you think

the devil's not going to try to do everything he

can to destroy you. But I need at least twelve folks,

you can stand up and sit down real quick and say,

but it's not going to work. It's not going to work.

It's not going to work. Okay, I'm gonna give you scripture.

Since you asked me for no weapon that has been

formed against you, it's going to be able to prosper.

The line will not prosper, Ah, the rumor will not prosper.

The hurt that they've tried to inflict will not prosper

because God is taking you to a place of healing

like you've never been before and so many years sucking.

As we look at number shutting and my number, folk

to understand as we look at this year, that this

year is so special to God that when you take

it and look at it, the last two numbers equal

The completion of what God has started.

seven says it has served its purpose. Seven says is

there are some things I need God to do that

such his attention.

Some of you don't even realize it.

Happy, but you think God has not been paying attention. Nothing,

but Jesus is walking into your situation. He's healing your mother, Lord,

have mercy. I'm trying not to see. I'm trying to

see this sucking. He's healing your brother, he's healing your sister. Happy,

he's walking into your situation.

Nothing.

That cancer got to dry up, that sugar's got to

be regulated, that rent is about to be paid. The

money just got deposited, The blessing just got.

Released, sutch. The miracle just got dispatched.

And angels are coming happy because Jesus suddenly is walking happy.

But the text also says to us shuting.

And while he's walking happy, he happens upon look a

situation in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is defined to us shutting, and

when you take it in the Hebrew, it means peace sut.

So Jesus has to come to peace. Suck to a

situation that would normally be peaceful, to a place that

would normally be comfortable. Look to a place called Jerusalem, rule.

Solemn nothing, the place of peace shut.

Now there in Jerusalem he is a sheep gate. The

sheep gate is the place where Ah, the man of

God with stand to sell the sheep. It seems crazy,

but here at the sheep gate, he's waiting for somebody

to come and buy the sheep in order to half sacrifice.

Get ready not to be at ease with things.

Get ready for God to sow you that what I

in this new year, it ain't gonna be what you want,

but it's gonna be best for you. It ain't gonna

would have at this time and used up all my

keep making bad choices? My wife gets nervous when I

Could it be that you've been holding on to thoughts.

That you need to release, And until you get delivered

from those thoughts, he can't give you what he really

wants you to happen.

The text bothers me. Let me tell you why.

Because Jesus says to the man, rise up, take up

Jesus says to him, rise up, take up. He had

never walked on those legs before. He didn't know how

to walk. And as a baby, you know you got to.

But Jesus says, rise up, take up your bed. This

is what bothers me. And this is my clothes. And

you're gonna say, Lord, he should just preach us something

The text bothers me because what it denotes, and this

is my finish. It denotes that your answer is already

in you. You just need somebody to come and wake

up the answer. The denotes that you can live better

than your living. You can have better than what you have,

you can be better than what you are. But until

you make a decision to be transformed by the renewing

of your mind twenty twenty five cannot be another year

where you just picked up, carried and lay. Y'all are

gonna like me this year. You're gonna have to get

it for yourself. You gonna have to fast for yourself.

You have to pray for yourself. You gonna have to

ask God for it for yourself. You're gonna have to

have a relationship for yourself. You can't call Grandmama, you

can't call Uncle John. You can't cause an evangelist passed

up back home. God, it's saying, the ability is already

in sight of you to do better.

Rise up, take up your bed and walk. Take what

has held you for thirty eight years.

Put it on your back, and walk around and let

everybody else see. I'm the man that used to lay.

I'm gonna hold that prep clock, but I ain't laying

no more. Folk are getting ready to look at you

I have now taken command over what used to command me.

God has given me the liberty to walk in what

He's promised.

This is your year of greatness.

This is your year to recognize you have been fearfully

and wonderfully made. This is yourly year to realize you

don't need a man to walk into your life and

tell you you're cute, tell you you're wonderful, tell you you're beautiful.

Get in the mirror and tell yourself, girl, you got

it going on. You come a long way, baby, to

get what you got. You don't need a man to

give you any dignity. You need to recognize you are

a gift to somebody, You're a blessing to somebody. You're

a miracleuse of somebody. You need to realize you survive

what you went through so that you can be blessed.

And now it's your year to be blessed. I'm finished, finished,

finish and finished. Thank you faster and finish, finish. But

if you don't get it this year, if you don't

grab a hold of it this year, you will never.

Grab a hold of it again.

You cannot miss it, you can't walk by it, you

can't be normal. I'm doing like the scripture scriptures, I

be seats you. That means I'm begging. I'm begging you

to fast, I'm begging you to spend time with God.

You may not can do like everybody else and do

only soup. You may not be able to do only sally,

but do what you can do. You may not you

Do one meal.

Do your one meal, but give your prayer time, your

praise time to God. You may not be able to

do like some of the heavyweights, but do whatever you

can do.

y'all kept smoking. Although you were saved, it wasn't until

God took it away that you got delivered. Some of

for God.
