Good evening, Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don
-
Noble of Pure Heart Ministries, and I welcome you today
-
with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy. Last week I shared
-
the sad news that I am going off the air
-
and that will be either the end of November or
-
the end of December, and it's for sure. So I'm
-
very sad to give you that news. But I just
-
have not received the financial support that I need to
-
stay on the radio, so I had to make this
-
hard decision. I still don't know what platform I'm going
-
to be on, and so that's up in the air
-
at the moment. Anyway, my title tonight is my rock
-
and my strength. We are two weeks away from an
-
election that could change America forever. I grew up during
-
the best of America and it's hard to imagine that.
-
Sadly much has changed, and not for the good now.
-
I'm not a pessimist, as most of you know if
-
you've listened to me. I believe things can turn around,
-
but many, many people, including Christians, are full of anxiety
-
about what may happen if the godless agenda wins again.
-
But does that really change anything? For those of us
-
who love Christ. This scripture came to me this morning
-
while I was in the kitchen, and it came so
-
strong to me. And I haven't even heard this scripture
-
in such a long time. But it's from Psalm twenty
-
verse seven, and it says some trust in and boast
-
of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust
-
in and boast of the name of the Lord, our God. Basically,
-
it's saying that there are those who put their trust
-
in the government technology and also put their trust in
-
the strength of flesh to handle the state of affairs
-
of our nation. But no, not us, not us. We
-
believers will trust in and we're going to boast of
-
the Lord and the name which is above every name.
-
That name is the name of Jesus. I would suggest,
-
it's just my suggestion for the next two weeks to
-
keep your heart clear of what you hear in the media.
-
Focus on God's word. There is strength in God's word,
-
peace and much joy. I want to read the entire
-
Psalm twenty to you, So I am reading this whole evening.
-
I am reading out of the Amplified edition, the Amplified
-
Classic Edition of Scripture. This is Psalm verse twenty, written
-
by King David. May the Lord answer you in the
-
day of trouble. May the name of the God of
-
Jacob set you up on high and defend you. Send
-
you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh and strengthen
-
you from Zion. Remember all your offerings and accept your
-
burnt sacrifice see Lah, pause and think of that. May
-
He grant you to your heart's desire and fulfill all
-
your plans. We will shout in triumph at your salvation
-
and victory, and in the name of our God, we
-
will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all
-
your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed.
-
He will answer him from his holy heaven with the
-
saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in and
-
boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will
-
trust in and boast of the name of the Lord,
-
our God. They are bowed down and fallen, but we
-
are risen and stand upright. O, Lord, give victory. Let
-
the King answer us when we call. David is bringing
-
much encouragement to us. The Lord is going to grant
-
your heart's desire and will fulfill all your plans. That
-
right there, because all of us, all of us have
-
things in our heart that we desire for the for
-
the Lord to fulfill. We have plans, things that we
-
maybe haven't even shared with anyone, that are just deep
-
down inside that we want to see come to pass.
-
And David is saying God is going to grant those
-
desires and he will fulfill all of our plans. That
-
is a promise that you and I can stand on.
-
In fact, it's going to be so good. We're going
-
to shout in triumph at our victory. That's pretty exciting.
-
The Lord will answer his anointed, that's us. The Lord
-
will answer his anointed from his holy heaven. How you
-
might ask, with the saving strength of his right hand.
-
Those who trust in the flesh of man or beast
-
are bound down and fallen. But look at us, Look
-
at us. We are risen. David said, we are risen,
-
and we stand upright. That means, no matter what, we
-
are the righteous, no matter we have a covenant with
-
Almighty God, and we're standing. O. Lord, give victory. Let
-
the King answer us when we call. Now, let me
-
follow up with this story to that specific scripture. Let
-
the King answer us when we call. Last Saturday, October twelfth,
-
twenty twenty four, there were roughly two hundred and fifty thousand,
-
mostly women and some men, from all over our nation,
-
in Washington, d C. For a ten hour prayer and
-
worship gathering on the National Mall. I was supposed to
-
be there, but I had injured two toes and I
-
knew I could not walk. There was no way that
-
was going to happen for me. So I live streamed it,
-
and with me were ten over ten million people from
-
all over the world who gathered to pray and worship
-
for our nation. Imagine people all over the world were
-
worshiping and praying for our nation. That's pretty astounding. It
-
was an ester call to pray and fast for this
-
nation and the election. I can tell you it was
-
so powerful. I think I scared my cat when I
-
was shouting. I think she just wondered, what in the
-
world is going on here. I can tell you that
-
there's no doubt, no doubt in my mind from what
-
was prayed from the agreement in prayer. Imagine you have
-
two hundred fifty thousand live people there, and you have
-
roughly ten million all over the world agreeing and prayer
-
and Scriptures said, is just if too agree, it's touching
-
anything on earth. Whatever you ask in my name, it
-
shall be done. And there were millions agreeing in Jesus name.
-
There is no doubt in my mind that things were
-
shifted in the spiritual realm. I don't think Washington, d c.
-
Will ever be the same. And I can tell you this,
-
no matter who wins this election, God is moving mightily.
-
He's moving mightily on people's hearts in our nation and
-
around the world. So even though things seem ugly at times,
-
we see a lot of negativity, we see violence, we
-
see hatred, just a lot of nasty things. God is
-
doing something so very special in this hour. This is
-
a grave hour, and God is moving on people's hearts.
-
I'm telling you now, I want to read Psalm twenty one.
-
King David wrote this Psalm as well, and he's writing
-
it well, you'll hear it, and then I'll share something here.
-
So this is again out of the amplified classic version
-
of the Bible, Psalm twenty one, written by King David.
-
The king shall joy in your strength, O Lord, and
-
in your salvation. How greatly shall he rejoice? You have
-
given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the
-
request of his lips Selah, pause and think of that,
-
for you send blessings of good things to meet him.
-
You set a crown of pure gold on his head.
-
He asked life of you, and you gave it to him,
-
long life, forever and ever more. His glory is great
-
because of your aid, splendor, and majesty you bestow upon him.
-
For you make him to be blessed and a blessing forever.
-
You make him exceedingly glad with the joy of your presence.
-
For the king trusts, relies on, and is confident in
-
the Lord. And through the mercy and steadfast love of
-
the most High, he will never be moved. Hand shall
-
find all your enemies. Your right hand shall find all
-
those who hate you. You will make them as if
-
in a blazing oven. In the time of your anger.
-
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and
-
the fire will utterly consume them their offspring. You will
-
destroy from the earth, and their sons from among the
-
children of men. For they have planned evil against you.
-
They conceived a mischievous plot which they are not able
-
to perform. For you will make them turn their backs.
-
You will aim your bow of divine justice at their faces.
-
Be Exalted Lord in your strength. We will sing and
-
praise you power. So as you read this Psalm twenty one,
-
you need to read it as if it's written to
-
you like you're saying. You're saying to the Lord. Lord,
-
you've given me my heart's desire, and you haven't withheld
-
the request of my lips. Lord, you send blessings of
-
good things to meet me. I asked life of you,
-
and you've given me for life forevermore. You make me
-
to be blessed, and you make me a blessing forever. You, Lord,
-
make me exceedingly glad with the joy of your presence.
-
And I trust rely on and I am confident in
-
the Lord, and through the mercy and steadfast love of
-
the Most High, I will never be moved. So this
-
is this is up. These words that David is declaring
-
to the Lord are very very powerful in the spirit realm.
-
And he ends it with be Exalted, And you say
-
this to the Lord. You speak this to him, Be
-
Exalted Lord in your strength. I will sing and praise
-
your power. Amen. I'm going to encourage you with the
-
next few psalms. So I want to turn back to
-
Psalm sixteen again. This is written by David, and it says,
-
keep and protect me, oh God, for in you I
-
have found refuge. And in you do I put my
-
trust and hi myself. I say to the Lord, you
-
are my Lord. I have no good beside or beyond you.
-
As for the godly, the saints who are in the land,
-
they are the excellent, the noble, and the glorious, in
-
whom is all my delight. Their sorrows shall be multiplied.
-
Who choose another God their drink offerings of blood, will
-
I not offer or take their names upon my lips.
-
The Lord is my chosen, an assigned portion my cup.
-
You hold and maintain my lot. The lines have fallen
-
from me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good heritage.
-
I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel. Yes,
-
my heart instructs me. In the night seasons, I have
-
set the Lord continually before me, because he is at
-
my right hand. I shall not be moved. Therefore my
-
heart is glad, and my glory my inner self rejoices.
-
My body, too, shall rest and confidently dwell in safety,
-
for you will not abandon me To shield the place
-
of the dead. Neither will you suffer your holy One
-
to seek corruption. You will show me the path of life.
-
And in your presence is fullness of joy. And at
-
your right hand there are pleasures forever more. Oooh, these
-
are some really awesome scriptures. This is really These are
-
good things that you can declare to the Lord. You know, Lord,
-
you're my Lord. Look, David says, I have no good.
-
There's nothing good that's in me or about me, beside
-
or beyond you. Nothing. You Lord, are good. And David says,
-
you are my chosen and my assigned, my assigned portion,
-
my cup. You hold and maintain my lot. In other words,
-
you are everything. Everything in my life I can assign
-
to you because you maintain the situation. You hold matters
-
in place. You are in charge. The lines have fallen
-
from me in pleasant places. I have a good heritage.
-
So you can say that that's a promise. You can
-
make that declaration to the Lord. You can pray this
-
to the Lord. Maybe you never thought of it, or
-
maybe no one ever told you, but you can pray
-
these things, say them aloud to the Lord as prayer.
-
Look at this. I will bless the Lord who has
-
given me counsel. I mean, the Lord has I'm sure,
-
given you lots of counsel. And when he gives counsel,
-
it's good counsel. There's nothing evil or wicked or sideways
-
about God's counsel. His counsel is sure and steadfast. His
-
counsel is good. It's right. And then David says, I've
-
set the Lord continually before me, my heart, because he's
-
at my right hand, I'll not be moved. This is
-
saying I am focused on the Lord continually. He is.
-
You know, I've set him continually before me. In other words,
-
I'm focused on the Lord all the time. I'm not
-
gonna make decisions without him. He's right here, he's right
-
at my right hand. And it doesn't matter. See, so
-
it's not gonna matter who wins this election. This is
-
what I'm trying to get across. Because David says, because
-
he's at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
-
If God's at your right hand, if you're setting God
-
continually before you, it doesn't matter who's in the White House.
-
It has no bearing none. I know in your flesh,
-
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, Oh yes it does,
-
Oh yes, it does. I'm telling you it doesn't not when,
-
Oh it will if you don't set the Lord before you.
-
It will if you don't understand that he's at your
-
right hand. So you have to make that determination. You
-
have to decide are you going to walk in the
-
spirit and focus on Jesus? Are you just going to
-
walk in your flesh? And you know, come what may.
-
But David makes it really clear how to handle this
-
because he says, I'm not going to be moved. I'm
-
not If Kamala Harris wins the election, which I hope
-
that she does not, I'm not going to be moved.
-
I'm not going to be happy. I am not going
-
to be excited. I Am not going to be thrilled
-
at all because I know we're in for a bad,
-
bad time. But that's not going to move me. It's
-
not going to change one iota of things. Because I
-
set the Lord continually before me. He's at my right hand.
-
I'm not going to be moved. Amen. Let's look at
-
Psalm twenty four. It's one of my favorite favorite psalms. Oh, David,
-
reate this psalm. The earth is the Lord's and the
-
fullness of it the world, and they who dwell in it,
-
for he has founded it upon the seas, and established
-
it upon the currents and the rivers. Who shall go
-
up into the mountain of the Lord, or who shall
-
stand in his holy place? Ah, he who has clean
-
hands and up pure heart, who has not lifted himself
-
up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully,
-
He shall receive blessings from the Lord, and righteousness from
-
the God of his salvation. This is the generation of
-
those who seek Him, who inquire of, and inquire of
-
and for him, and of necessity require him who seek
-
your face, O, God of Jacob see law. Lift up
-
your heads, oh you gates, and be lifted up, you
-
age abiding doors, that the King of Glory may come in.
-
Who is the King of Glory, the Lord Strong and mighty,
-
the Lord mighty in battle? Lift up your head's, O gates, Yes,
-
lift them up, you age abiding doors, that the King
-
of Glory may come in. Who is this King of Glory,
-
the Lord of hosts? He is the King of glory.
-
So there's a point here. Who shall go up to
-
the mountain of the Lord. Who's going to stand in
-
his holy place? That's a question. You can ask yourself.
-
I mean truly well, I would suggest you don't go
-
up unless you have clean hands and a pure heart,
-
and you haven't spoke falsehood and you haven't sworn deceitfully.
-
So that is where we are headed for the future.
-
I'll talk about that next week. This thing about who's
-
going to stand in his holy place, He who has
-
clean hands and a pure heart, He who has not
-
lifted himself to falsehood and lies and swearing deceitfully. No,
-
that person. That person is going to receive the blessing
-
from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
-
So see it again, it doesn't matter who is going
-
to be in the White House. We have to stop
-
focusing on that whole thing, and we have to understand
-
that we're going to focus on the Lord. We're the generation,
-
it says in verse six, We're the generation of those
-
who seek Him. We're going to be the ones who
-
inquire of Him, and we're inquiring for him and of
-
necessity require him. Yeah, let me tell you. You think
-
you need Jesus in this hour? Oh? I think so. So.
-
I think it's time to inquire of him. I think
-
it's time to seek him. And realize the necessity of
-
needing him, requiring him in your life. Huh huh hmm.
-
And then you know it closes. This song closes with
-
the lift up your head, oh you gates, that the
-
King of Glory may come in. This is what we want.
-
We want the King of Glory. We want Jesus, the
-
King of Glory, to come in like roll in to
-
the United States of America. We are inviting the King
-
of Lord to come in. He is mighty in battle,
-
he is strong and mighty, And this is a battle.
-
This whole election thing is a battle. This is a
-
battle in the spiritual realm. You're looking at it from
-
the natural and you're not paying attention in the spiritual realm.
-
This is a spiritual battle. And God is strong and mighty,
-
and he's mighty in battle. And we want the King
-
of Glory to come in. We want the Lord of Hosts.
-
That means the whole heavenly army comes with him when
-
he comes. Amen. I don't know about you. I can't
-
speak for you. I can speak for me. I am
-
inviting the King of Glory to roll in, the Lord
-
of Hosts and all of Heaven to come into this nation.
-
And let a mighty revival break out and sweep across
-
this nation. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Amen. Amen, Well, this is Don Noble.
