For allowing me to God to share.
-
We ask God even tonight that your spirit will do
-
all among us, that you'll speak through us to us,
-
speak for us God, so other people that God may
-
understand in disseminating your word.
-
Your word is truth. You declared it, and we thank
-
you for it in Jesus' name. Amen.
-
If you have to study God, I'm not sure how
-
many of us have it. We are on page nine.
-
We're on page nine. And if you don't have to
-
study God, that's still fine. We're on chapter two. Verse
-
number ten is where I put my intentions. But I
-
want to give you a backdrop because I am now.
-
It is so funny because you tend to understand better
-
why God has.
-
You do some things.
-
I believe that everything we do for God and with
-
God is for purpose, but you start to understand why.
-
Because when the Lord woke me up about somewhere between
-
three and would not allow me to go back to
-
sleep at five, the Lord actually showed me our church,
-
our ministry, and where we are now and why it
-
is that the enemy seeks to distract us, to disturb us,
-
to add things in our community of church. And it
-
has a lot to do with spiritual things. I question
-
for years why we have spent so much time on
-
studying spiritual warfare. And now that things have changed, I
-
understand that there will always be a season where we
-
are not.
-
Just wrestling against flesh and blood.
-
We're wrestling against spirits that seek to dishevel us, that
-
seek to frustrate us. And such is the case with Moses,
-
because in chapter two we're going to verse eleven, he's
-
having the same frustrations that we had. That we have
-
because the more you do for God, the more we
-
should expect the enemy to show us head. Again, I
-
remind you, Moses is here two generations of people have
-
already died off. From these two generations of people who
-
have died off, Moses is trying to rescue them and
-
allow them to enter into the Promise. So he's at
-
a struggle. Remember, we look at Moses as the pastor.
-
We looked at the children of Israel, or the children
-
of Egypt, however you want to refer to them right now,
-
because they have not gone into the Promised Man, we
-
look at them as the congregation.
-
He has gone from six million down to two million, and.
-
Then two and their children are going to enter into
-
the promised Land.
-
So two generations of people are going to.
-
Have to die off, and that to me should make
-
all of us nervous because as many people as you
-
have around them, not all possessed the promises of God.
-
Because unless there is a change, it's not gonna happen.
-
Okay.
-
So again, if you look at this, if you can
-
see the screen, I have it up on the screen.
-
The people were stubborn, they were hear hearted, and they
-
were rebellious. And as they.
-
Were stubborn, as they were hear hearted, as they were rebellious,
-
God began to deal with them.
-
Your phone is making a eco. Your phone is making
-
this echo.
-
I muted it.
-
Bishop, Okay, thank you.
-
So with that, the people were stubborn, they were hard hearted,
-
they was rebellious.
-
So the only way to deal with stubbornness.
-
The only way to deal with rebellious people, the only
-
way to deal with frustration or anything like that, is
-
spiritual warfare. So I would say to you that one
-
of the things I believe that the Lord wants us
-
to get from this is we will always have to
-
deal with spiritual warfare. I just I promise you just
-
got the phone been on the phone the whole day,
-
but I had a assignment from the Lord to causing
-
to encourage them, and it was about spiritual warfare.
-
This is the year.
-
If you're writing notes anywhere, in your notes, whether on
-
your note guides, whether on your notes, you need to.
-
Write this is the church age, This is the church's year.
-
This is the year you're going to see the church
-
come back to its prominence, and you're going to see
-
for most people, church or the spiritual part of church
-
will become intensified and necessary. Okay, So the only way
-
to deal with anything is not to get in our flesh.
-
The only way to deal with any kind of confusions
-
not to deal with our flesh. The only way to
-
deal with anybody right now who is rebellious, who is stubborn?
-
And I will say this on the onset, It is
-
possible to be rebellious and you don't know it. It
-
is possible to be stubborn, and you don't think you're
-
being stubborn. You just think you're not going.
-
With the flow.
-
So I don't want us just to talk about people
-
who are intentionally being rebellious.
-
But sometimes Satan can get inside of you and make
-
you rebellious.
-
And you don't even realize it because you do that
-
in the name of normalcy or in the name of
-
something else that's not God. Okay, and I'll explain that later,
-
or if somebody wants greater understanding, we'll get that. So
-
we're going to need and you need to write this
-
in your notes, to always be engaged in spiritual warfare.
-
You're going to have too fast, not just on a
-
fast church call. You're going to have to pray, not
-
just when church calls for prayer. It would be good
-
for us to get together, because the more of us
-
will get together, it strengthens the whole. But it's going
-
to be necessary and this next year to pray, to
-
fast not only when the church calls the fast, but
-
your own fast.
-
It's going to be important to be.
-
Self disciplined because the enemy is unleashing a spirit of rage.
-
The stuff we see on the news, the stuff we see.
-
Around us, how they're going about deporting people on army planes,
-
and it's causing them triple of what it would coust
-
them to do it the right way. But they're doing it,
-
Doctor Field, and filming it and putting it on TV
-
and putting it on Facebook and putting it on Instagram
-
so people can see that people are being deported. They're
-
doing it with no heart, they're doing it with no interest,
-
they're doing it reality TV made for TV that they're
-
doing that. But that same spirit of rage has been
-
loose in the earth and we're having to contend with
-
it even at church. Okay, So so say that is
-
unleashing an unholy a gentleman, and he's already released it.
-
But it's this is a call for spiritual people to arise.
-
This is a call for you to be spiritual. This
-
is a call for you to be strengthened by God.
-
And when I say spiritual, that ain't mean being no
-
super saint. That ain't mean being more than you can be.
-
That means you be at your greatest res spiritual place.
-
That means you be at your greatest potential. That means
-
you be at your greatest uh uh spiritual that you
-
can be. You may not be able to do what
-
others are doing, but it does mean that you need
-
to have the ability to be spiritual. Okay, So what
-
we're dealing with in chapter two is which is the
-
second part of rebellion, witch craft and unrepentance, we're dealing
-
with rebellion, witch craft, and people who are unrepentant.
-
The problem with that is this, all three of.
-
Those spirits are contagious, and if you're not careful, you
-
will have to deal with all of the repercussions that
-
come from that spirit being loosed in your house, that
-
spirit being loosed over your family, that spirit being.
-
Loosed in the church.
-
Okay, So I don't want anybody think by any means
-
it's going to be easy. So let's pick up chapter two,
-
verse nin eleven. We were talking about the superhumans the Anarkites,
-
because there are two groups in the Bible, and that
-
long story.
-
Those of you who have been with me any such time,
-
we always get.
-
Caught up on anakins because a lot of people believe
-
that the angels came down, they had sex with humans,
-
and they produced a superior race that was superhumans that
-
were bigger than everybody else, that had strength. And if
-
you're not careful, as we're talking about being spiritual, we
-
don't want to talk about being spirit TechEd because there
-
is a difference because spirited people. When I walked into
-
Ed McCay's the New Ed McCay's, I couldn't stand it
-
because the whole front part is talbot cars, the whole
-
front part is crystal balls and crystals and horoscope stuff
-
and astrology based because the whole world is turning to
-
spiritual stuff.
-
Now, they're turning to.
-
Grabbing a hole of stuff that has more to do
-
with your emotions than it does with your spirit.
-
So Versus two and eleven, which.
-
Also were counting giants as the anakins, but the Mobites
-
called them immons. What God is doing in this particular
-
chapter is showing them and reminding them of how many
-
people they have already conquered. And we see this through
-
the Bible. We are more than conquerors. We see this
-
in the Bible. Isaiah saw him high and lifted up,
-
and his train filled the temple. His train is a
-
signet that he has won many battles, and he has
-
made us more than conquerors. So we're already that's where
-
we are, but he's reminding them Verse twelve. The Harms
-
also dwelt in Seer before time, but the children of
-
Esau succeeded them, and they had destroyed them before them
-
and dwell in the state. He said, actually just telling
-
him there were. These were people who dwelled in caves.
-
So he showing that while they're going through the wilderness,
-
they're having to deal with their enemies. Writing your notes,
-
part of the wilderness process is dealing with our enemies.
-
God gives a strategy. Notice what he says. Some he says,
-
occupy here for a while. Some he says, don't even
-
go near them. Some of them says, buy food from them.
-
Some he says, go past them, don't even stop. So
-
he's giving them instructions. And part of our relationship with
-
God deals with the instructions we get from the leader,
-
the pastor, and from God. I'm gonna make I'm gonna
-
some of this. Some I'm gonna say tonight may seem controversial,
-
so so hold it, staying there with me. I promise
-
you it'll make sense. Verse thirteen says, now rise up,
-
and I will get you over the brook ZERI and
-
over the brook. This was the river of the wilderness,
-
and we see that in Isaiah fifteen and seven, and
-
the space in which we came from Cadesperana, which is
-
the threshing floor of the threshold of the promised land,
-
until we will come over the brook. Zarah was thirty
-
and eight years until all the generations of men, So
-
this is thirty eight years in So they are still
-
two years from possessing the promise.
-
For indeed, the head of the Lord was against them
-
to destroy them.
-
So he's showing us how they accomplished among the hosts
-
until they were consumed. So it came to pass two
-
and sixteen when all the men of war were consumed
-
and dead from among the people, that the Large spake
-
unto me, saying, this is Moses talking thy Lot to
-
pass over through air ar the coasts of Moab this day.
-
So the Lord has given them instructions, but he's using
-
Moses to give them the instructions. And when our coming
-
is not over against the children of Amman, distress them not,
-
don't bother them, don't meddle with them, don't take time
-
with don't have conversations with them. For I will not
-
give you the land of the children of Amon or
-
any possession, because I have given it to the children
-
of Lot. So God has a purpose place for every group.
-
Let's skip down to the verse two. One are people great?
-
Now we're talking about the giants again. The Ammonites called
-
them the zam munims, zam munis, and men, excuse me,
-
a people great and many tall like or ask the Anakins.
-
But the Lord distroyed them before them, and they succeeded
-
them and dwelt in the stand. So a lot of times,
-
when God is trying to take you into your promise,
-
it is in the possession of somebody else. And although
-
it is in the possession of somebody else, it does
-
not mean it's not yours. You can't be moved by
-
what you see, because a lot of times your enemy
-
will possess hold onto what belongs to you. You gotta
-
have faithful enough and hear the instructions being given by
-
the Man of God before you go up. Okay, let's
-
let's let's let's let's let's jump on down to uh
-
and look at our notes, because I want to put
-
all of this into perspective on chapters one in chapter two,
-
So what Moses is dealing with.
-
Is rebellion witch craft.
-
Witch Craft and rebellion are the same thing, but witchcraft
-
deals with people who want their way. They don't like authority,
-
they don't like leadership, they want to have their own way,
-
and they don't want to listen to anybody they are unrepentant,
-
and that these three spirits are contagious.
-
A little rebe is gonna lead to great rebellion.
-
A little witchcraft is gonna lead to a lot of
-
witchcraft or a lot of control, unrepentance.
-
It's gonna lead to people not having respect, not being sorry.
-
So Daniel eleven thirty two says, and we know the scripture,
-
it says the people who.
-
Know their God.
-
If you have made copies of the notes, you need
-
to circle no, because I want you to understand that
-
when the Bible talks about no, it says the people
-
who know their God.
-
When you talk about no.
-
He's using the word that is Greek called ganosco.
-
It is the same word.
-
Those of you that are well versed in the Bible,
-
we hear ganoskics. A gnostic is a person who feels
-
like they know it all.
-
These are groups that will.
-
Rise up at the enner Malachi when we have the
-
four hundred years of silence. These groups started to rise
-
up and they name theirself Ganotskis. That comes from the
-
Greek word gnosco. But Daniel says, the people who know
-
that no, right there does not mean acquainted with It
-
means the people who have relationship, the people who have
-
established a prayer life, the people who have established a
-
fast life, the people who spend time with God, the
-
people who spend time in this world. The people who
-
have relationship with God shall do great exploits and one
-
translation say great feats. The people who know Gnosco, the
-
people who have a proper relationship with God are going
-
to do great things. This is the year and Psalmson says,
-
and God shall arise and bless Zion because the second
-
time to favor her has come. We are in the
-
set time of God. We're in the time of favor
-
for God's people. But that also means does not mean
-
that heathen. It's not gonna rage all Hell is not
-
gonna try to break loose. But we have to be
-
above that and our spiritual walk with God. Philippius three
-
and ten says, I want to know Christ. We know
-
this is Paul say, I gotta know Christ in the
-
power of his resurrection. And again know here means I
-
gotta have a real relationship with him.
-
I just don't want to know about him. I just
-
don't want to know.
-
What my grandmother said, well, my mama said, well, my
-
daddy said, well, my aunt said, I have to have
-
a real relationship.
-
That's what Moses is saying in chapter one and two.
-
This is the time for you guys to establish to
-
start establishing relationship with God. You're gonna have to pray,
-
You're going to have fast, You're gonna have to read
-
the Bible.
-
You're going to have to study it on your own.
-
You're going to have to have the encouragement of others
-
in your household to walk with God. So the first
-
Bulley point here is the knowledge of God on what
-
he will do and what he will not do, comes
-
through our times of testing and our trials, or you
-
can write right besides that in the wilderness. It is
-
in the wilderness that we get to know God. It
-
is you have to have trials. You have to have situations,
-
because it is through those that we get to know God.
-
We would know there are other dimensions, other sides of God.
-
We will never know until we are faced with a trial.
-
And then I know he's a way baker. Then I
-
know he's a door opener. Then I know he's a
-
burn embarrasser. Now I know he'll bring you out. Now
-
I know he'll meet your financial needs. Now I know
-
he'll be your comfort.
-
Okay.
-
So the wilderness gives us knowledge of what God will
-
do and what he won't do. So rebellion is the
-
same as the spirit of witchcraft. First Salmon, Chapter fifteen,
-
twenty three. That means actively defying, going against, actively being
-
in rebellion, actively coming against God's people, coming against authority,
-
coming against leaders, coming against the pastor actively defying the
-
authority of God's command.
-
It's just as serious as transgressing or transgressions, which is sin.
-
And it's just as serious as practicing witchcraft.
-
You might as well go ahead and be a witch.
-
If you feel like you can control people and stuff
-
like that, you might as well go ahead.
-
And be a witch. Okay.
-
Then in parentheses, and I use different types of parenthesis
-
for different things. With knowledge and this witch craft, discontrolling
-
this rebellion is with knowledge or willingly not being obedient,
-
that's still witch craft. You do it by mistake, it's
-
still witch craft. You do it on purpose, that's still
-
witch craft. If you don't listen, that's still witchcraft because
-
you are making a conscious and unconscious decision not to
-
obey God.
-
So it's that's rebellion, not doing what you're supposed to do.
-
It's the same ass. You can be rebellious willingly or
-
I'm just not gonna do it. You can make a
-
conscious decision or unconscious. Hopefully that makes sense. Okay, zach
-
Ry four and six. These are just words that live
-
by And this day time is not by might nor
-
by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. But
-
my spirit, but by my spirit. It's not by might,
-
it's not by your strength. It's not by how much
-
a power you have. It's not by your human power.
-
But it's by my spirit, said the Lord. So the
-
spirit and our spirits have relationship with the Spirit of God.
-
So our spirit has to have relationship with the Spirit
-
of God. And if there is no fellowship, if there
-
is no communion, if there is no time spent, if
-
there is no prayer, if there is nothing, if those
-
things are not happening, then what happens is our spirit
-
is not maturing and growing.
-
This is a spiritual prayer. There are going to be battles.
-
For us to fight as a church that will only
-
be able to be fought in the spirit. Okay, there
-
are battles that we're going to deal with that are
-
only going to be successful if we fight in the spirit,
-
not physically, fight, not argue, not complain, not come against
-
But only the spiritual folks are going to survive.
-
So in the three stages of leadership that Mostes has
-
shown us.
-
The first one is he starts out leading before the people.
-
He's in front of them, before the people.
-
You will always have a problem when the leader has
-
a relationship and the people have none. But you start off,
-
you don't start off with the knowledge of God. You
-
start off with somebody telling you and teaching you. A pastor,
-
a leader, a spiritual partner teaching you about God. You
-
don't have a relationship yourself yet, you're just listening to
-
somebody else teach you, say to you, show you how
-
to have a relationship. So numbers twelve, eight through ten
-
shows us in the beginning, only Moses has a relationship
-
with God. In the beginning, only Moses has a relationship
-
with God, and his relationship is he's face to faith.
-
But the people become disturbed. Pastor, we're tired of hearing
-
you talk about God. Pastors, we're tired of you coming
-
back telling us what God says. But they weren't saying
-
we want a relationship ourself. They were just saying we
-
don't want to hear what you have to say. Stage
-
number two is Moses is not in front of the people.
-
Now he is with the people. And with the people,
-
the leader encourages you to develop a relationship with God.
-
So Moses now is saying, you, guys can have similar
-
to what I have. You can have a relationship with God.
-
So with the people means to develop a relationship with God.
-
So God desires a relationship with his people. And the
-
second bullet to that is the people had a problem
-
because God was communicating through the leader, but they were
-
not at a place to receive what he had to
-
say for themselves because he was waiting for them to
-
develop a relationship.
-
So no longer would they have to hear through their pastor.
-
But now I can deal with you like I deal
-
with Moses face to face.
-
Stage three, he.
-
Says, finally he's behind them, and a leader does not
-
lead from behind until his people have developed a relationship
-
with God.
-
Now the people people know God and now they're just
-
like Moses.
-
Every person needs a leader to teach them about God.
-
Until you're able to walk on your own Okay.
-
Second part of that, after you acknowledge to him, you
-
need a leader to wing you away from him or
-
herself and point you to God. And finally they will say,
-
now you're ready to go to God on your own.
-
Now your relationship is strong enough that you don't need
-
me anymore.
-
And we see this in several places in the Bible.
-
Samon didn't know God.
-
If you read First Samuel, Second Samuel, or first Chronicle,
-
Second Chronicle, it would tell you that his.
-
Mother prayed for a son. When she prayed for a son,
-
God gave her a son.
-
And the first thing she does is takes him and
-
gives him to Pastor Eli, who has two sons that
-
are running a monk.
-
Okay.
-
So Samony didn't know God for himself. He needed Pastor
-
Eli to teach him until he was ready. And it's
-
crazy how God uses a man who had lost his
-
eyesight spiritually and physically to teach a eight year old
-
how to serve God.
-
So you're always.
-
Gonna need a leader to teach you how to serve
-
God until you get to the places you can serve
-
God on your own.
-
Okay. Later Eli would teach Samuel how to know God
-
for himself. We see that.
-
You know the story, pastor did you call me? Because
-
he was hearing the voice of his pastor, Pastor you
-
called me, No, boy, I ain't call you. And then
-
I love what it says. It shows us Eli is
-
not selfish. Neither is he jealous. He said, Oh, I
-
perceive what's going on. Next time you hear him say
-
speak Lord, you're serving is listening. You want a leader
-
who's not jealous, who's not envious, who doesn't feel like
-
it's all about them, he says. Next time you hear
-
it say speak Lord, go, servant is listening. It's the
-
same thing Moses taught them about out God until they
-
were able to start learning about God themselves. So number one,
-
he encouraged the people to build a relationship with God
-
and not with the leader. He encouraged the people to
-
build a relationship with God and not with the leader.
-
He encouraged the people to build a relationship with God
-
and not with their leader. They were trying to build
-
a relationship with their leader. We're gonna see this at
-
the end because at the end of the Theeronomy, Moses
-
dies and God has to hide his body because they
-
were so at chant to their leader that God was
-
afraid they were going to take, and they took his body.
-
What they were going to do was they were gonna
-
make a god out of it.
-
Number two, Build the people and they will build the kingdom.
-
Build the people and they will build a king. So prophetically,
-
this is where we put in. And this is why
-
I believe the Lord woke me up. We do this,
-
and then we opened the line. Uh, this is why
-
I believe the Lord woke me up last night. The
-
Lord says, even in our ministry, even in our house,
-
there is a rebellious spirit, a rebellious generation. There are
-
people who have the spirit of Satan. So a whole
-
generation of rebellious people dies off. And the Lord said
-
this to me last night. Don't get caught up in
-
the rebellion. Keep doing what I say do because they're
-
getting ready.
-
To die off. I asked the Lord, like.
-
Genesis, do you mean physically die or spiritually die? The
-
Lord said both. The Lord said, haven't you already seen?
-
We were full at one time, almost packed. But the
-
Lord said, I have to let people die off because
-
everybody can't go to your finished place. I'm prophetically speaking,
-
Lord said to me early this morning.
-
Don't be afraid of what you lose. Don't be afraid
-
of what is not attached.
-
It's time for you now to take what's not a
-
tax and to get rid of it.
-
The we in the tail go together.
-
You heard the one on God talk about that if
-
you was at service, it all looks the same, it
-
all sounds the same. But you only the right eyes
-
can tell the difference between the weak and the tear.
-
But God said, what I'm doing in your house right
-
now is showing the folk whoever read they ain't gonna
-
live right. They're not gonna do right. They're not gonna
-
follow the leadership. They're not gonna follow the leaders who
-
place the place. They ain't gonna do us right because
-
do right.
-
Is not in them. But the Lord said, don't worry.
-
You're getting ready.
-
To see death in your church, because I will not
-
allow this. The spiritual continue. So the two keys, and
-
the two keys are obedience and submission. Obedience and submission.
-
Everybody in our ministry has to be willing to be obedient.
-
And they also have to be submissive.
-
The Lord said, the two keys to our church and
-
the success thereof people gotta be obedient and they got
-
to be ready to submit. Submission and obedience brings accountability.
-
That means when you're not there, you ain't just gonna
-
not call, You ain't gonna not contact you, ain't gonna.
-
Not you just say well whatever.
-
Only people who are crazy and on their own do that.
-
You don't belong anywhere.
-
You don't.
-
You don't not show up for a job six weeks
-
and then show back up one day, punch in like,
-
ain't nothing happened. That's foolishness, God says. When there is
-
no accountability, when you're disrespected, and when people don't appreciate
-
the sacrifices you made, that's a person who does not
-
have it in them to do right. That's a waste
-
of time. That's a waste of your energy. Take the
-
people that want to do right and go on. We're
-
wasting time with crazy folks that don't love God. They
-
don't want to be taught how to love God. They
-
don't want to be taught how to spend time with God.
-
They just want to waste time, take up a space,
-
and take a whole lot of positions. God says, I
-
ain't gonna let you do that no longer. God says,
-
it's time now to get rid of the foolishness, the silliness,
-
the stupidness. If there's no accountability, several people, the Woman
-
of God wasn't gonna be there. Please let pastor know
-
I'm gonna this is why I'm gonna be sonning several minutes.
-
Please that past.
-
But there's a whole lot of folk that got positions
-
and titles that don't say nothing.
-
And some people had another while I was waiting for
-
you to call me.
-
It is not my responsibility or anybody else in the
-
ministry to call you. You got a title, you got
-
a position. You ask God for what you have, and
-
you're gonna be foolish with your assignment.
-
Watch God kill them. Now take that as a prophet.
-
Watch God kill them, either physically or spiritually.
-
Watch what I say. Watch it's gonna happen.
-
So the accountability and the disrespect has to be to
-
Isaiah one in nineteen says, if you be willing, and
-
we quote this all the time, and obedient, you can
-
eat the good of the land. You can get everything
-
God has for you. The scripture says, delight yourself in
-
the Lord. He will give you the desires of your heart.
-
Hebrews thirteen and seven says, obeyed them, have rule over you.
-
Ephesians five and twenty one says submit yourselves one to another.
-
And that's one scripture I forgot, it says Hebrews Thank
-
You thirteen and seventeen is at the bottom.
-
It says, don't grieve the heart.
-
Of your pastor don't make your pastor have to check
-
up on you.
-
Gotta call you, gotta do it. That's foolishness.
-
That's not how the kingdom works, especially if you got
-
positional title in the church. That's not how it works.
-
God says, I'm trimming the fact. God says, people disqualify,
-
and that's what we see here in this second chapter.
-
He says, people disqualify themselves. We they have no accountability.
-
We they have no discipline. When they disrespectful, the Lord say,
-
I can't bless them.
-
I can't bless what that doing. I can't help them
-
hold on to they stop.
-
I can't keep their children safe, their house is safe
-
because they have disqualified themselves. They have no accountability, they
-
have no When are you gonna grow up? When are
-
you gonna be disciplined? When are you gonna have some
-
integrity about yourself. When are you gonna stop cheating? When
-
are you gonna stop doing all this crazy stuff.
-
That you know is not like God.
-
It is time for mature Christians to rise to the top.
-
John fifteen and two says, every branch that bear if
-
not fruit, he cuts it away. So I said, don't
-
you worry about I'm cutting it away. I'm stopping it.
-
I'm no longer gonna allow it to flow, because all
-
that dead branch does is it stokes and SIPs the
-
life from the branches that really want it and that
-
needs it. It causes the fruit not to produce on
-
branches that are really trying to produce. I hope he
-
that having here, let him hear with the spirit is
-
saying to the church thirteen sixty nine said the paraple
-
little fig. Jesus says, no, he cursed the fig tree
-
because he says, you're not doing what you're supposed to do.
-
We're talking about basic stuff. Seeking first, the Kingdom of God.
-
We're talking about basic stuff. Praying, We're talking about basic stuff,
-
paying time. We's talking about basic stuff, attending church. We're
-
talking about basic stuff. When you don't do what's supposed
-
to do, God curses the fig tree, and he says.
-
Let no figs grow.
-
You don't just all of a sudden go somewhere else
-
and start producing fruit. You never produce fruit again. And
-
some people are already at that place. Ben would be
-
for two and three years, and it ain't produced, not
-
one piece of good fruit. That's a waste of ministry time.
-
That's a waste of my time as apostle. That's a
-
waste of my time as a pastor. Pillip Psalms fifty
-
one and six says God desires truth on the inward part.
-
Either you with it or you're not. Either you mean
-
God or you don't. Either you mean right or you
-
mean wrong.
-
Hebrews thirteen and seventeen says, do not grieve the heart
-
of your leader. God gets upset when you grieve the
-
heart of leadership. When you take the leader away from
-
time to pray, Take the leader away from time when
-
the rest of the body can be strengthened. Take the
-
lead away for some foolishness, take the leader away for
-
some stuff that don't even make any sense. I will
-
say to us as a church. God is getting ready
-
to cut the fat. God is getting ready to get
-
rid of the foolishness. God is getting ready to cut
-
off every branch that's not bearing fruit because he would
-
not bring us to this place and bring us to
-
a promised place and not bless us.
-
But he can't bless you with a whole lot of
-
dead weight.
-
That's what chapters one and chapters two most is saying,
-
you so close to the promise, and you're gonna blow it.
-
You so close to getting what God has me.
-
You're gonna blow it, You so close to if you
-
be willing it, o' be you've been obeating all this time,
-
and then all of a sudden. One time I was
-
driving from We were driving from Washington, DC, coming from complication,
-
and I saw sign said this one was living Ondesday
-
Winston settlem fifteen miles and we had been driving all night.
-
I put my foot down.
-
I put that a gas pedal down.
-
To the ground because I said, fifteen miles, make these
-
fifteen miles and three minutes.
-
No sooner than I put my foot down, and had.
-
Been going about fifteen to twenty miles over to speed
-
limit in a few minutes. I saw the blue light
-
and the man when he put me out, he says,
-
what are you doing. What were you thinking? He says,
-
I've been behind you for the last hour, but all
-
of a sudden you just took off. I saw the
-
sign that say once to say them, and neither dec
-
I still got the ticket. But get the point of
-
the story. You can't get so close and panic, get
-
so close, get out of the will of God, get
-
so close. I don't understand. People, you don't have any money,
-
but then the Lord blesses you. It gives you six
-
thousand dollars from your taxes, and then you get grand
-
with God. I don't understand God bless you with a job.
-
You ain't been able to get a job, find a job,
-
have a job, and God bless you. Then you don't time,
-
you don't give. You start to splurge money on crazy stuff.
-
And there are people like that, just like there are
-
in chapters wanted to a Dodonomy, who all of a
-
sudden start splurging and doing everything else because you did
-
not learn your Some people, God has to keep you sick.
-
Some people, God has to keep you frustrating. Some people,
-
God has to keep you broke because he knows that's
-
the only way you're.
-
Gonna serve them.
-
That's a poor commendation on who God is and who
-
you are. God should not have to keep you sick
-
for you to pray. You ought to be praying anyway.
-
God should not have to keep you broke just so
-
you can be humble. If He blesses you today with
-
a million dollars, you ought to still have that same spirit.
-
God should not have to take us through trial. But
-
some people will always be sick, always be put down,
-
always be broke, because we haven't learned the lesson of
-
how to still love God and prosperous place you can
-
open the lines. I know I was rough. I meant
-
to be rough. I said, if I can't sleep, you
-
gonna know it. And from three to five I was
-
up with the Lord saying I'm not gonna let you
-
keep on dealing with foolishness. I'm gonna cut it off
-
so that the rest of the church can go on
-
to glory in Jesus' name. You're gonna open your lines, questions, comments, answers,
-
whatever you have, open your lines.
-
You can ask them.
-
Apostle, can you go back to what you started out
-
saying when you were talking about people who are rebellious
-
or stubborn, and they don't know that they are rebellious
-
or stubborn. How do you not know that you're being rebellious?
-
I thought rebellion was an intentional act.
-
Not mean to do this?
-
No, And that's my point. Sometimes you don't even intend to.
-
Sometimes I can get mad at you because you made
-
an announcement son, and I can start operating against you.
-
And I'm not really operating against the announcement you made.
-
I'm just upset with you. And so what I do
-
is I become un intentionally rebellious because I'm mad at you,
-
and you ain't had nothing to do with the announcement.
-
Why she get up to make the announce Why didn't
-
letting her make the announcement? So we get caught up.
-
It's easy to get caught up in your flesh. Some
-
people don't like people to tell them what to do.
-
For some people, that's a pet pee. Some people feel
-
like that all their lives. When you get like that,
-
then what ends up happening as soon as somebody tells
-
you what to do. Some people have been hurt from relationships,
-
or hurt from their father, hurt from their mother. So
-
when a person I was talking to somebody that the
-
said ooh, please don't say what you just say it,
-
because that's a trigger for me.
-
You have triggers.
-
From your father, from your mother, from your aunts, from
-
your uncles, from how you would treat it, from people
-
who fired your own job, that when you hear certain stuff.
-
I had one.
-
I don't like people to say to me, you need
-
to as soon as they say that, that's a trigger
-
for me. That's a set that you need to. You
-
can say the same thing without saying it that way,
-
but that's a trigger. So people have triggers and they
-
don't even realize what it do or what it does.
-
Excuse me, is it pushes them into rebellion. It pushes
-
them into witchcraft. It pushes a button into them and
-
they start to rebel, but they don't see their rebellion
-
as rebellion because what we like to do. I've had
-
a couples in and we were talking and I'll say
-
to one of them.
-
You're jealous and don't know pastors, I'm not jealous, I'm
-
not jellous. Yes you are.
-
No, no, not no, And then I have to say
-
the same thing another way, and then they come back
-
and say that's what I am, and I want to
-
say to them, just as playing. That's what jealousy is.
-
So we like to like to rename stuff so we
-
could be comfortable with it. We like to deal with
-
stuff in a different way. So sometimes the enemy will
-
trick us into thinking, I'm not being rebellious. I just
-
don't like nobody telling me what to do. I'm not
-
being rebellious. I just don't like a whole lot of
-
folk up in my face. I'm not being rebellious. I
-
just like I just want to I just like to
-
get stuff done. So we will say things like that,
-
but all it is is rebellion. All it is is disobedient.
-
Because if you can't. The Bible says to husband's and
-
wife submit yourself one to another. It says to us,
-
submit yourself. It's more, there's a lot more to this
-
than we know. May I tell y'all and Mama and
-
on those other people on the phone, then they can
-
vouch for what I'm about to say. I didn't like
-
everything Vision Williams told me to do, but he was
-
the leader. That was his house that God assigned him to.
-
I disagreed with some of the decisions he made as
-
a pass. Some of the decisions he made as a leader,
-
and I'm here to say and confessed. So y'all understand
-
I worked the gangst him because I thought my idea
-
was better and he should be doing it this way.
-
Well, he needed to see he old timing. He need
-
to get with the times.
-
We do it unintentionally under the guidance or the framework
-
of something else. It's still rebellion, it's still witchcraft. It's
-
still being disobedient to God. And be sure you will
-
pay for it, hopefully, hopefully. With all of that, I
-
gave clarity to it.
-
Howard, Yes, sir, you did.
-
Thank you.
-
You can post it as much as you want to.
-
I want everybody to know. I wish everybody was online
-
tonight because I am very serious about us not continuing
-
to deal with foolishness. It's one thing to have mercy
-
and grace, but we keep having mercy and grace with
-
the same people who are not learning their lessons. That
-
wears you out. That makes me old before my time,
-
because it would just be better if people would just obey.
-
And I'm not just saying obey me. I'm saying the
-
leader had to teach Moses, had to teach them how
-
to have a relationship with God. But then they got
-
to a place he says, now you got to exercise
-
your relationship. That comes a point where I can carry you.
-
When it comes to point that God says you can't
-
carry her no more, you do.
-
You've done your You completed your task here. Let me
-
let me, let me give you a sticker.
-
You did good. So everybody has to get to that place.
-
But it's the leader. The first thing you need is
-
a leader that teaches you about God.
-
They teach you.
-
Samuel was eight years old in the temple working, but
-
he did not have a relationship with God. You don't
-
believe me, go back to First Samuel chapter one and
-
read it one and two. It tells you he did
-
not have a relationship with God. Eli his pastor's job
-
was to teach him how to have a relationship. And
-
then he got to the place where at the end
-
Samuel is the king maker. He got a relationship with God,
-
but he had to be taught that first. So to
-
be honest, it's a travesty for me to let you
-
get away with not being faithful. It's a travesty for
-
me to let you not get away with loving God.
-
It's a travesty for me to let you come in
-
church and we say praise Lord.
-
You know all that's a travesty. It is our job
-
to teach you.
-
How to have a solid relationship with God. Then after
-
back up and see if you can do it on
-
your own. And sometimes even the tdler after you learn
-
how to walk, still hold on to things. But that's
-
the same analogy. Any other questions apossible, Yes, get out
-
through into everybody.
-
On the lines of hardheartedness and stubbornness and witchcraft.
-
To what is stint?
-
Does grace abound where whether you're a leader or not,
-
whether it's in your own, your job, the church, To
-
what ex stint? Do we go when we're trying to
-
do what the Lord say, you're trying to live right
-
and you still need to show grace. But to what
-
is stint? There's grace abound.
-
I think that's a different place for everybody. And you
-
have to pray, you have to seek the face of God.
-
Because the Lord woke me up three to five last
-
night and say enoughing is enough? You got too many.
-
We got a couple of people talking about coming back
-
to the ministry and I was like, waitmn, Lord, because
-
they were there before, and I wonder, Okay, God, it
-
didn't work the first time, is it gonna work this time?
-
And I say that to say this, I am at
-
the age. Let me put it on me that I
-
can't keep wasting. I don't have another twenty years to
-
waste having graceful folk. I don't even have another two
-
years because I've got to complete my assignment that God
-
gave me. And to keep allowing the wheels to spend
-
in the mud and not put some up under the
-
wheel so we can get out the mud makes me
-
a terrible leader. That's just that's me. I feel like
-
I'm a terrible leader if I see you drowning.
-
And I throw.
-
In the ring to pull you out and you don't
-
grab a hole of it. Am I supposed to jump
-
in the water and save you When I've thrown you
-
the life thing three times? Grab a hole I'm gonna
-
pull you out. No, No, I'm scared. I'm scared. No
-
grab it, no, no, come in and get me. Do
-
you know what happens to people who come in and
-
save people who are not ready to be saved?
-
Anybody, you die with them, You die with them.
-
They take you right down because until that person has
-
given up the fight, they're not savable. And I'm saying
-
that that's the extent you get to. Is this person savable?
-
And then you have to pray, God, what as a leader?
-
What do you want me to do? And I'm telling
-
you all, God is starting to say, I'm trimming the fact.
-
That's the way the Lord said it to me. I'm
-
trimming the notes you got are the notes. He woke
-
me up and said, right, I'm trimming the fact. I
-
could take it from one of your kids. Uh, dickon, Nick,
-
for you a grown adult. You fifty years old, you
-
forty years old, you thirty five years old, and this
-
ain't your first church, this ain't your first rodeo.
-
How long are we gonna have to spoon feed folk?
-
Because it looks it looked it were next next time
-
that I'm a preaching, I'm gonna call up one of
-
one of y'all men, and I'm gonna I'm gonna have
-
a baby baller, and I'm gonna say, come on, I'm
-
gonna say, lay right here and drink this bottle, because
-
i want y'all to see how stupid that looks for
-
somebody forty five fifty fifty five, sixty sixty five, seventy
-
seventy five eight to.
-
Be laying there with a baby bottle.
-
It does happen sometimes people that age have to go
-
back to the bottle. But I'm saying that's not a
-
good look, and that's not a good look for ministry.
-
The places I went this last weekend, everywhere I went,
-
covenantionp Covenation, all the choiet, all the all the music,
-
all the creature, all the world. I'll watch y'all every Sunday,
-
and y'all see it. You see results online one thousand
-
and five hundred by the end of Sunday. People are watching.
-
But we can't let him keep watching, and we allow
-
foolishness to go on in our house. Either God called
-
you here or he didn't. I'd rather you be where
-
He called you and be free to do what you
-
have been asked to do, than to be with me
-
and be rebellious because, in case you guys missed it
-
in a note, that spirit is contagious.
-
It takes over. It's like the apple in the basket.
-
If you don't get it out, one rotten apple will
-
spoil the whole bunch.
-
I'm sorry, Michael Jackson. You was wrong. It happens. Just
-
give me. I had one potato, sweet potato.
-
One sweet potato went bad and the whole rest of
-
the bag was corrupt. I had to throw the whole
-
bag out. That's what happens. One thing can destroy it all.
-
You can mess up your destiny, you can mess up
-
your life, you can mess up your ministry, you can
-
mess up your house, you can mess up your children.
-
By being unchased and respectful, you can mess it up.
-
And I'm saying to you as a leader, I will
-
be terrible to let you do it. Other questions that
-
we have, like three or four more minutes, Apostle.
-
That was the That wasn't Michael Jackson.
-
Gil can't tell you how I love Michael Jackson.
-
Okay, that was That was the Brothers the wonder that
-
got it wrong.
-
I ain't know. It's the Osten Boys, Okay, okay, white boys.
-
Well, I'm sorry for throwing off on your Michael Jackson.
-
I thought it was him, That's who I thought I
-
heard saying.
-
But it was doing that same era, but still a
-
whole bunch.
-
Yes it will, Yes, it will. You don't believe.
-
Get your bag of potatoes and put it, leave a
-
rock one in there, and see how long the rest
-
of them will last.
-
I hear somebody, I was.
-
Just gonna ask, Bishop, when you when you said, you
-
said that God said spiritual death or physical death. So
-
in in in the in the case of spiritual death,
-
people don't always know that they're spiritually dead if they're
-
not seeking after him.
-
Is that right? Well, most of the time spiritual.
-
Well, most of the time, spiritual death is for us
-
to let that person know.
-
Oh.
-
Sometimes Mary walked away and it was three days before
-
she recognized Jesus was no longer will and she was
-
the mother of Jesus. Well, three days she had traveled
-
and Jesus was not with them. She panics and she
-
goes back. I wonder how many people realize their preachers,
-
but God ain't with them, their pastors, but God ain't
-
with them, their leaders, but God ain't with them. Because
-
it is possible to walk away and not know Jesus
-
has left you. So I believe that the spiritual death
-
is to show us.
-
Uh.
-
I can put it in another way so everybody can
-
be more comfortable with it. The other way is the
-
Bible says a tree is known by the fruit that
-
it bears, and if it could bear, if it bears
-
corrupt fruit, it's not good. It's not good for anything.
-
That's what the Bible says. So it is possible to
-
be producing fruit. But all the fruit is on your tree,
-
is right, and you waste some time because you get,
-
you're gonna get to heaven. If you get to heaven,
-
if you get, if you repint get to heaven, it
-
ain't gonna it ain't gonna be worth your while because
-
you spend a whole lot of time being rebellious fighting again.
-
It would be easy.
-
For every one of our members at this point of
-
ministry to be obedient to God and to the leadership
-
of the house. We can get stuff done quickly, but
-
the devil seeks and comes to distract, to detract, to
-
pull away that they weren't so posed to be there.
-
This is thirty nine years thirty eight years in. It
-
was an eleven day journey, and the people jacked it up.
-
I was wondering when I first did this study, guy,
-
why God, why you want us to do? See somebody'll way,
-
why you want us to do?
-
Do the run?
-
Because the Lord saying I don't want you all to
-
make the same mistake of turning what I intended to
-
be a blessing into a curse. When you get to
-
Douduronomy is it twenty eight twenty nine, it's gonna one
-
chapter's gonna talk about blessings, one chapter gonna talk about cursing.
-
If you do these things, I'll bless you. But if
-
you do these things, I'm gonna curse you. And I
-
see the spirit trying to break free in our house
-
of rebellion.
-
A folks being respective, a person of folks are are
-
not handling or not understanding what God is saying or
-
doing it just. And it happens in every church. I
-
have other passors on here. It happens in every church.
-
But how long are you going to allow it to
-
happen to you?
-
How long I forgot who it was we.
-
Were somewhere pastor perks And and the person says, no,
-
I recognize the spirit because this is what happened to me.
-
And that's God allows us to go through stuff so
-
we can see what not to be like.
-
So we have to be very careful.
-
Any other questions, I take one or two more, then
-
I'll release you anymore. Everybody's good nobody ask any questions.
-
All right, God bless you, have a great night, and
-
thank you for
-
Becoming a part of my
