So we get an up to a possible shower on
-
the morning. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I will not be before you long.
-
If you'll go to your bibles. Mark chapter eleven, and
-
God has.
-
A funny sense of humor. He is sneaking. He that
-
has a fear of God is good and call Elujah.
-
I also want to say link you to my sister,
-
Elder Nikki Clarking this morning.
-
Sport to support.
-
Me a man. Mark chapter eleven, verses twelve through fourteen,
-
and it says on tomorrow when they will come from Bethany.
-
He was home.
-
And seeing a fig tree on far off, having leaves,
-
he came if happily he might find anything thereon.
-
And when he came to it, he found.
-
Nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet.
-
And Jesus answered and said, unto.
-
It, no man eats fruits of thee hereafter forever.
-
And his disciples heard it.
-
God, we thank you for the opportunity. We thank you
-
for the because you are great, you are mighty. I
-
thank you God, because you have given me this word God,
-
and I pray that I will deliver it as you
-
have given to me.
-
I pray on this morning, God, that your word will
-
not return back to you, Lord.
-
But it shall accomplish that which you have said it
-
to do. And it said Jesus same betrayed a man.
-
As you take your seat, can you look at a
-
neighbor and say, neighbor, show me some signs.
-
Then I struggled because I have actually two topics.
-
The other one if you'll turn to another neighbor and say, neighbor,
-
God has need of you. So have you ever met
-
someone who catches your eye? Their outward appearance is what
-
draws them to you, or what drew you to them.
-
Ladies, we know we have what we like in our men.
-
He may be taller, dark and handsome and got a
-
salt and pepper beard.
-
Me and you know what you like.
-
She has all the right curves in all the right places.
-
Some of us are caught up even now because we
-
have allowed our eyes to draw us into things that
-
God said is not even good for us. It is
-
that we're supposed to not just look at the outward appearance.
-
Of people, but we are to check their hearts.
-
It it's not until later that we realize that what
-
we saw initially is not what we're really getting touch
-
your neighbor again and say, neighbor, show me some signs.
-
So you might not have connected with looking at a boom,
-
But what about this one. Have you ever saw the
-
memes on Facebook or Instagram and they have two pictures
-
of what they have thought they was ordering of wish
-
or te move, and then what they actually got It
-
was an actuality false advertisement because what they got did
-
not look like what it said.
-
Or have you ever cause my mom was infamous for this.
-
She would be home watching TV during the day and
-
I would at a phone call saying, can you stop
-
at such and such restaurant because I saw a commercial
-
on TV and that.
-
Food just looks so good.
-
But have you ever experienced what you saw on the
-
TV did not match what you've got when you order
-
it from the restaurant. Or how about, Minister Howard, if
-
you ever tried to cook a new recipe that you
-
saw on TikTok or Instagram and you do everything like
-
the recipe says, but your cake still comes out lopsided,
-
your icyd won't go on the right way. What you
-
saw did not appear when you did it. We have
-
all experienced some type of encounter, whether with a person,
-
whether buying something or trying to make something on our own,
-
and the end result does it match what we saw initially.
-
This reminds me of the story of David.
-
In First Samuel sixteen, God has commissioned Samuel to go
-
to Jesse's house because one of Jesse's sons we'll.
-
Be the next king.
-
When Samuel gets there, Jesse brings out his oldest son, Eliab,
-
and Samuel gets excited because Eliab looks like he should
-
be the king.
-
But God had to correct Samuel and say.
-
Samuel, man looks at the outward appearments, but God checks
-
their hearts. This is where we are with Jesus. In
-
our text. He is in passion week. This is the
-
week before he has set to be crucified, and the
-
Bible says that Jesus is traveling from town to town
-
and as he is traveling, say.
-
Jesus was home gry. Jesus was hongry.
-
I'm gonna put a pin right there, because I come
-
to tell you that because Jesus was hongry, that means
-
he had a need just like today. We're gonna put
-
it in twenty first century terms. He has a need
-
for us as a body of Christ. God says, it
-
does not matter if you've been in the body of
-
Christ for two months, two years, or twenty years. He
-
has a need for you. Well, some people I can
-
reach Minnester Isaac.
-
May not be able to reach.
-
But some people Minnesoter Isaac can reach you I may
-
not be able to reach.
-
The only thing that God wants from.
-
Us is that we are willing and that we are obilience,
-
that we are willing.
-
Up, and that we are at BEU.
-
You don't gotta have everything from aida z. You don't
-
gotta have your life perfect. You don't need to be
-
ashamed of what you've been through. You don't need to
-
be ashamed of what you're going through.
-
Now, God says, I have need of you. Will you
-
satisfy my needs? Will you allow me to use.
-
You for my glory? Y'all?
-
It reminds me of Baalim and the donkey in Numbers
-
twenty two. Baalim was being disobedient and not following what
-
God told him to do, and God used the donkey, y'all.
-
To get Blim back on track.
-
Ain't that something that God would take an animal to.
-
Correct a human being? Who does that?
-
But God It reminds me of Esther, a young orphaned
-
you who became queen because.
-
It was her set time, and because she became queen,
-
she saved her whole nation. What about ray Have in
-
Joshua chapter two, we all know the story of ray Have.
-
She was the harlet in our turns, we call her
-
the whole. That's who ray Ha was. She obeyed God.
-
She was Willina, and she was obedient. She hid the
-
spies so that they would not be killed.
-
And through her obedience, her whole bloodline was saved. Not
-
only was her bloodline saved, but it's through her lineage
-
that we have Jesus Christ.
-
So I come to tell you CCL. It does not matter.
-
What your being through, what you're going through. God says
-
I can use you. Touch your neighbor and say, neighbor,
-
God has need of you. Jesus sees the fig tree
-
from a distance, and the tree has bloomed.
-
Minister Howard is.
-
Full of those vibrant green leaves, and Jesus expects expectancy.
-
Jesus expects to see the fruit on the tree. Just
-
like in the story when Jesus comes to us and
-
says I have need of you. He expects to see
-
fruit on your tree.
-
Yah.
-
He expects for you to be productive. He expects for
-
you to be producing something.
-
Now.
-
He doesn't want you to have the look but you
-
are deceiving now.
-
He doesn't want you to be like the saying that
-
everything that glitter isn't gold.
-
So I had to do some research.
-
Lord, why would you come to this fig tree and
-
then not be producing?
-
It looks like it should be producing now it's full
-
of green leaves.
-
The only natural succession is there will be fruit on
-
the tree. So in my research shop I found three
-
reasons why there may be leaves full.
-
On the tree but there is no fruit.
-
First reason is in my research it says that there
-
would be too.
-
Much nitrogen in the fertilizer.
-
Nitrogen is what makes the leaves lush and green, but
-
it can burn the plant and the roots of the plants.
-
So how does that apply to us as a body
-
of Christ. Some of us are flashy the green leaves.
-
We look vibrant, We look like God can use us.
-
We have all the right words. We know how to
-
play pray the scriptures. We can pray heaven down.
-
We can articulate our sentences the right way. But we
-
have no power, lashy but not productive, lash between God,
-
no fruit. We can speak eloquently, but we don't have
-
any oil. We don't have any anointy, and we are
-
non effected by shout through the church on Sunday, and
-
then we're gossiping on Monday.
-
We're playing tongues.
-
On Sunday, and then we cuts it people out Monday
-
and Saturday.
-
Tout your neighbors a neighbor. Don't be flashy, not be
-
productive and Matthew twenty eight, twenty three, and twenty eight.
-
It says, we.
-
Outwardly appear righteous, but within us we're full of hypocrisy
-
and iniquity.
-
John seven and twenty four says.
-
Don't judge according to appearances, but judge with righteous judgement.
-
Second Timothy three and five says, having a form of
-
godliness but denying the power within.
-
We gotta have some fruits. You can't just.
-
Look the part, but we gotta be productive. For the
-
second reason that you.
-
May not to have fruit on your tree, it told
-
me that sometimes the tree is in survival mode. That
-
means you got too much water, you're not too little water.
-
So how does that apply to the church today?
-
Some of us super deep.
-
Nobody can talk to you and have a regular combination
-
about everything that is too deep. And that's some of
-
us are super fleshly. You ain't got no words.
-
You don't know how to frame me for. You don't
-
know how to talk me.
-
Off the legg If I need your help, you want
-
no help to me.
-
Somebody say balance, We need to be balanced.
-
It's not calling us to be perfect, but he's calling
-
us to be balanced.
-
So you can't be to the left or the right.
-
You gotta be in the middle of the road. That's
-
a balance in the world, but of the world.
-
There has to be a separation from.
-
The things of the world and the things of God.
-
How can we draw others to Christ? They don't see
-
Christ inside of us. How can we draw others to Christ?
-
And we're cussing and blessing that, and we're drinking and
-
dipping and we're doing everything cocept the world is to
-
touch a neighbor and safe Balancelleah Point number three, how
-
do you know you are blessy?
-
But John protected?
-
It says that the tree may be too long impture.
-
This has nothing to do with your age, but the
-
capacity to understand Some of us suffer are not developed spiritually.
-
Nobody can tell us anything because we know everything.
-
We know every.
-
Scripture in the Bible, but we ain't a pine nothing.
-
To our lives.
-
We can see the bean in my brother's eyes, but
-
I can't see the bean that's in my own eye.
-
We gotta grow up, like touch your neighbor and say neighbor, wow, up,
-
mother love. God is looking for us to bear fruit.
-
He's not impressed, Minnesota Howard, by our titles. As you
-
said so eloquently this morning, our titles make us entitled.
-
Just because I have pastor in front of my name,
-
that does not mean I can live any kind of way, y'all.
-
Just because I have pastor in front of my name
-
doesn't mean I can treat people any.
-
Kind of way, y'all.
-
Just because I have pastor in front of my name
-
doesn't mean I cannot show compassion.
-
To those who may need it to. God is not
-
impressed by our titles. He doesn't care about a title
-
if you don't have any fruit.
-
To show that you belong to him.
-
So what fruit is God looking for? Well, I'm glad
-
you act in galations. Fine the fruit of us spirit joy,
-
pea patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentlemen, self control?
-
Cont do you have that of the fruits? Do you
-
show loud when they're good? Lovable? Are you patience than
-
when they get on your marriage? Are you kind with
-
that man to you? Are you good they treat your fan?
-
That is the fruits? Thank God, it is.
-
Looking for Nothew says. Every good tree has good fruits, but.
-
A bad tree, there's bad fruits. And we will let's
-
be recognized by the fruit we bear.
-
Are you okay this morning?
-
I gotta give you what the Bible says. Matthew says,
-
reduce fruits that shows that we have changed shut our heart.
-
In our lives.
-
A vision says live their lives as children of lights.
-
Because of lights reduces fruits that consists of goodness, justice
-
and truth.
-
Psalm says we shall be like a tree planted by the.
-
Streams of the water, and we will bear fruits and
-
shame how.
-
For your corn in time handed said stare leave well
-
where the fuck the boy t Shaan fifteen and five sects.
-
I am the vine.
-
You are the branch that if you arrange it, and
-
I in you, if you will produce so much for
-
God is savine dress of Jesus is survine.
-
If you want to prod.
-
Scruit, you gotta have a relationship.
-
We have God on hid. You gotta have his hoy.
-
Spirit well in show on the inside. If you want
-
to be protective, you.
-
Gotta trust on.
-
If you want to be production, you've gotta leaves so your.
-
Own under sense. But you got to and knowed Hell
-
and he shot so want you.
-
If you want to produce group suck, you're gotta believe
-
the world.
-
God say I will perfect everything that concerns you.
-
If you want to produce glue the Bible, Sir, who
-
things work together, Gota you are all up a part.
-
If you want to produce him, stay connected, stay connection,
-
Stay connected, stay connected, stay contracted, they connected. Coact that
-
what is calling us?
-
Calling us and be protect No more lazynes, no unproductivity,
-
No more focusing on.
-
Your titles, because that means nothing if you have no proof.
-
We keep saying we are moving, and we see that
-
as only difficult, but God says it's spiritual to you.
-
We are moving.
-
No, it's not just moving to a new building nothing,
-
but God has taken us.
-
To another level. And again my food. So if I
-
want to get to that level, min and some play.
-
Come.
-
I gotta be comeing backed to the story Sid. That's
-
what I make my brute up better on my street.
-
Just tell your neighbors we are booby to another level. Ky,
-
that you can put your blessings together.
-
They give us boy on the market.
-
How that our group, God has taken us higher us.
-
This should needs our help. Apostle needs our help as
-
we move to our new buildings. Now we are.
-
Needed to fill in the camps. We are needed to
-
draw others in. The people that are gonna come to
-
the ministry. They need all of us. Nobody is excluded.
-
I don't care if you're the biggest center in here.
-
Nobody is excluded. God wants to use all of us.
-
Your testimony may deliver somebody else, but you have been
-
through may deliver somebody else.
-
He needs all of us in my study for the victory.
-
As I close, it says, a victory symbolizes fertility. That
-
means p'ssor smith that we have the ability to produce.
-
We are not infertiles.
-
We have the ability to be productive. But you've got
-
to lean on God's words. You gotta lean on God's word.
-
It says that the victory is used for healing. How
-
many of us know that your words may be what
-
somebody else needs.
-
Your praise may be.
-
What somebody else needs. Your dance may be what somebody
-
else needs. That's why you gotta be preductive.
-
Because a person saying next.
-
To you may not be able to get through because
-
they're bottle down. But if you are productive, but your
-
praise can second free.
-
It says that the victory represents peace. Suck. We should
-
be other people's peace. You should not be in the
-
midst of confusion. Every time your name comes up, you're.
-
In the middle of the chaos. That's unproductive. That's not
-
what God has called us to do. It says the
-
victory symbolizes prosperity. That means you should not have any
-
lack of in your life because we are connected to
-
your source, and says that the victory resembles faithfulness to God.
-
So if you are faithful to God, there is no
-
way in Minissa Howard that your tree should just be
-
leave if you are a faithful to what God is
-
instructing you to do. The last thing it said is
-
that it bearing prove it provided shade or covering, and
-
that it was an important source of nourishment. Just look
-
at your neighbor one more time and say, neighbor, show
-
me some signs. Look at another neighbor and say, neighbor,
-
show me some signs.
-
So whenever your connection your creator.
-
You have said the Covenant Church are not doing what
-
they're supposed to be doing it.
-
We're not gonna chop them down, and somehow we're gonna
-
behind them. You have to show some signs and be
-
productive for where God is moving us. A man, put your.
-
Hands together one more time, Holly Luca wos whom the
-
name God.
-
At the end of the story, it says, and Jesus
-
cursed the figure.
-
Oh my God, Ma, man, I don't want God to
-
curse me, so I gotta say.
-
Oh been, I gotta say, really, I may not want you.
-
It ain't not feel good. I was going to issue
-
this week, but I had to test my god.
-
Mama said, I just need prayer because the spirit of
-
depression tried to overtake me.
-
And that's what it means when you're producing fruits.
-
Who can't you call me when you can't crave you
-
yourself that they won't pray you, Jose, that's what you
-
say up like that.
-
Because I help the prayers and I have to remind
-
myself you're gonna get through this.
-
And this is a distraction because of what you sign.
-
It's gotta be connected to those who are productive.
-
Luvia, Glory to your name, how gloralty your n glory
-
your name, Glory your name, Glory.
-
To your name.
-
What you're connected to, it matters, It matters you are
-
connected to.
-
It matters how.
-
At the time, if we have anyone here that is
-
not saved and you want to be saved, will ask
-
you to come and join us in what the choet
-
song about, and you have access to everlasting life. But
-
when you join into the body of Price, Holly and Luvia,
-
will there be worn on this morning? The second call
-
is this is worth the body of price if you
-
were found yourself in the world. And it's not about titles,
-
because that's what God said this morning, because sometimes even
-
with the title, we don't do things the right way.
-
We don't live right, we don't talk right, we don't
-
do what we're supposed to do.
-
So it's not about titles.
-
But if you feel like you found yourself in the
-
worn and you want to say I want to be
-
connected to the source, or I want to be reconnected
-
to the source.
-
We invite you to come on this morning to be
-
reconnected to the source that you are productive.
-
But as we are moving into this next level, Morning, God,
-
will there be anyone
