  1. Good evening. Welcome to Voice in the Wilderness. I'm Don

  2. Noble of Pure Heart Ministries, and I welcome you today

  3. with exceedingly abundantly and overflowing joy. Before I get started tonight,

  4. I do want to mention something very important that's going

  5. to be happening this week Thursday. This coming Thursday, May

  6. first is National Day of Prayer and I will be

  7. heading that event at West Banco Arena at eight am. Now,

  8. this is a little different from what I've done for

  9. the past oh my goodness, probably fifteen years. I haven't

  10. done a breakfast. We've done different venues, but this this

  11. is a breakfast at seven am, just for invited guests,

  12. so that would be clergy and city officials. Then at

  13. eight am, one hour late, it is open to the public.

  14. The public can come at seven forty five. It's open

  15. to the public, and we will have our actual National

  16. Day of Prayer program this year. I'm highlighting. Our speaker

  17. is Mike Asinger. He is a West Virginia State Senator

  18. from Wood County. He's a very godly man. I've heard

  19. him speak multiple times and pray, and I can tell

  20. you it will be worth your while to come hear

  21. him talk about prayer in the market place and the

  22. impact of prayer in his life. Because we are fortunate,

  23. very fortunate in West Virginia to have many of our legislatures,

  24. delegates and state senators who are born again. They are

  25. real Christians. So what a blessing to the citizens of

  26. West Virginia. So I encourage you to come on down.

  27. It'll be open to the public. It's seven forty five am.

  28. Our program will last about an hour, so eight to

  29. nine we'll have worship, we have other people praying, and

  30. then we'll have Mike speak. He'll be coming toward the

  31. end of the program. So please come and join us,

  32. Please unite with us. See it's important for the body

  33. of Christ to come together and pray for our nation,

  34. pray together, pray in agreement. And so I'm really encouraging

  35. you to come out this coming Thursday morning. If you

  36. can be there before eight a m. That would be great.

  37. We look forward to seeing you. Last week I started

  38. a message called is the Blood Necessary. I'm going to

  39. complete that tonight. So this is part two. I am

  40. not going to take time to talk about last week's program,

  41. but I will start tonight with number six and I

  42. did mention this last week about the blood providing supernatural protection.

  43. And we look to Exodus twelve thirteen and actually Exodus

  44. twelve twelve and thirteen, and it reads this. It says,

  45. for I will pass through the land of Egypt this

  46. night and will smite all the first born in the

  47. land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all

  48. the gods of Egypt, I will execute judgment proving their helplessness.

  49. I am the Lord. The blood shall be for a

  50. token or signed to you upon the doorposts of the

  51. house where you are, that when I see the blood,

  52. I will pass over you, and no plague shall be

  53. upon you to destroy you when I smite the land

  54. of Egypt. So it's very clear based on those two

  55. scriptures that the blood in this text in Exodus was

  56. a foreshadow of the blood that would come on the

  57. cross with Jesus. And this blood in Egypt that was

  58. from the lambs. It was put on the lentils and

  59. the top of the door provided supernatural protection. When the

  60. Angel of Death came, it couldn't touch the houses that

  61. had the lamb's blood on the door. And God said,

  62. no plague will come upon you to destroy you when

  63. I smite the land of Egypt. So every firstborn beast

  64. and first born child in Egypt was killed. And yet

  65. all of the Hebrew people were protected because of the

  66. Lamb's blood. So that lamb's blood. Think about this, If

  67. the Lamb's blood was that powerful to protect them, can

  68. you just imagine what the power of Jesus' blood is

  69. like with regard to protection, supernatural protection. See, we don't

  70. think about that when you read scripture. You have to

  71. take time to put everything in context. So we see

  72. that the lamb's blood did something phenomenal, totally protected them

  73. from death. But the lamb's blood was a foreshadow of

  74. the blood that would be shed on the cross by Jesus.

  75. And of course, the blood of Jesus is stronger than

  76. the Lamb's blood. Wouldn't you agree? The blood of the

  77. blood of Jesus is stronger than death. So you and

  78. I can apply the blood of Jesus knowing the power

  79. that's in his blood. Okay, Number seven, and we're talking

  80. about is the blood necessary? Number seven? The blood gives

  81. us access to enter the most holy place. Now we

  82. go to Hebrews chapter ten, verse nineteen, and it says this. Therefore, brethren,

  83. since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into

  84. the Holy of Holies by the power and virtue in

  85. the Blood of Jesus. So it's the blood that gives

  86. us access to enter the most holy place. Right, we

  87. now have full freedom and confidence that we can come

  88. into the Holy of Holies. We can come into the

  89. Holy the most holy place, by the power and virtue

  90. that's in the blood of Jesus. Verse twenty says, by

  91. this fresh, new and living way which He initiated and

  92. dedicated and opened for us through the separating curtain, the

  93. veil of the Holy of Holies, that is through His flesh.

  94. And since we have such a great and wonderful and

  95. noble priest who rules over the House of God. I mean,

  96. this is this is so powerful. And I've been mentioning

  97. to you about reading the Book of Hebrews. Can't you

  98. let me let me tell you something about the Book

  99. of Hebrews. If you don't already know, you cannot read

  100. the Book of Hebrews, like in a week. It's just

  101. not gonna happen, because now you're talking meat, you know.

  102. Paul says that when we're young in the Lord first

  103. born again, you know, we're drinking milk. But he says that,

  104. you know, as time moves on, we have to mature

  105. so that we can eat the meat of the word.

  106. Hebrews is all meat. There is no milk in this

  107. book of the Bible. So this is a book that

  108. you're I mean, you don't you swallow milk. You chew meat.

  109. So you're gonna have to chew and chew and chew

  110. and meditate on Hebrews to get it. Fully, you can't

  111. do that in a week. You couldn't do it in

  112. two weeks, three weeks. Because some of these scriptures, just

  113. like one scripture can knock you. I mean, it can

  114. just blow your mind and the revelation you can get

  115. from it. So I'm telling you, if you really want

  116. to understand the cross, or you want to understand the

  117. power of Jesus Blood, or if you want to understand

  118. what this you know, comparison from what was foreshadowed in

  119. the Old Testament and then is being executed in the

  120. New Testament, read the Book of Hebrews. Need I say

  121. more so? Number seven is the blood gives us access

  122. to enter the most holy place. Okay, so I read

  123. you ten nineteen. I'm going to read you four sixteen.

  124. Let us then fearlessly. Now this is because of what

  125. has happened, because the veil has been torn, we can

  126. enter the holy holies. Let us then fear fearlessly, fearlessly

  127. and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace,

  128. the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners, that

  129. we may receive mercy for our failures and find grace

  130. to help in good time for every need, appropriate help

  131. and well timed help coming just when we need it.

  132. Isn't that powerful? You know? This should encourage you, like

  133. really encourage you, this particular scripture. And of course I'm

  134. reading out of the Amplified Classic, and then I'm going

  135. to be reading out of the New Living Translation as well,

  136. so I have a mixture here. But I'm telling you

  137. this is powerful stuff, all right. Verse excuse me, number eight.

  138. The blood is the blood necessary. The blood gives us

  139. authority over all sickness and disease. And we realize that

  140. the devil operates illegally. So I'm going to be reading

  141. Isaiah fifty three, verses one through five in the NLT

  142. because I think it has it will have more impact

  143. for you because it's a little easier to understand. So

  144. it starts out Isaiah fifty three, who has believed our message,

  145. to whom as the Lord revealed his powerful arm, my

  146. servant grew up in the Lord's presence like a tender

  147. green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was

  148. nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract

  149. us to him. He was despised and rejected, a man

  150. of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs

  151. on him, and we looked the other way. He was despised,

  152. and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses

  153. he carried. It was our sorrows that weighed him. And

  154. just to help you here it in verse for their

  155. sorrows in the Hebrew means sicknesses, So it was his.

  156. It was our sicknesses that weighed him down. And we

  157. thought his troubles were a punishment from God. We thought

  158. it was punishment for his own sins. But he was

  159. pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was

  160. beaten so we could be made whole. He was whipped

  161. so we could be healed. You can see in these

  162. verses one through five, that the blood is authority, gives

  163. us authority over all sickness and disease. So he was

  164. acquainted with our deepest griefs, sicknesses, diseases, and he carried

  165. all of that for us. And he was pierced for

  166. our rebellion against him and crushed just just merely for

  167. our sins. This is powerful. So the devil operates illegally.

  168. And when you understand Isaiah fifty three, then you begin

  169. to understand the authority that has been given to us

  170. and what Jesus death on the Cross provided for you

  171. and I. Amen. Number nine, the blood rescued you and

  172. I from the power of fear and death. And let's see,

  173. I want to talk about the fact that that blood,

  174. it rescued us. It rescued us from eternal hell. So

  175. the power of death doesn't have any power over us

  176. any longer. We don't have to fear anything because we've

  177. been rescued from the power of fear and death. Number ten,

  178. the blood has redeemed you and I from the curse.

  179. Now that's Galatians three thirteen. And let me turn there

  180. real quick. Galatians three thirteen. Christ purchased our freedom, redeeming

  181. us from the curse doom of the law and its

  182. condemnation by himself becoming a curse for us. For it

  183. is written in the scriptures cursed is everyone who hangs

  184. on a tree or is crucified. So we've been redeemed

  185. from the curse through Jesus' blood. And then we look

  186. at first Peter Verse Peter, chapter one, and verses eighteen

  187. through nineteen, and it says, you must know recognize that

  188. you were redeemed, ransomed from the useless, fruitless way of

  189. living inherited by tradition from your forefathers, not with corruptible

  190. things such as silver and gold, but you were purchased

  191. with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, like

  192. that of a sacrificial lamb, without blemish or spot. And

  193. that is you know, I've always loved this scripture and

  194. First Peter, because it's just you know, jesus blood is

  195. not corruptible, there's nothing corrupt. It's pure, it's holy. And

  196. that's why that blood was able to redeem us from death,

  197. hell and the grave and fear. And you and I

  198. were purchased, we were bought with that precious blood like

  199. that of a sacrificial sacrificial lamb. The curse, which came

  200. on the earth through sin and the work of the devil,

  201. is the source of every bad thing on earth. Curses

  202. produce nothing but sickness, poverty, defeat, and destruction. Nobody, nobody

  203. wants to live under the curse, and thank God, as

  204. a believer, you don't have to. You've been delivered from it.

  205. You've been redeemed with the precious that word's important, the

  206. precious blood of Christ. And because of the blood, the

  207. curse has no power over you. You've been loosed from the

  208. devil's hold. You've been freed from any and all curses

  209. in every area of life. The Bible says in Psalm

  210. one O seven, verse two, let the redeemed of the

  211. Lord say so whom he has redeemed from the hand

  212. of the enemy. So, hey, you and I are the

  213. redeemed of the Lord, and we say so. So when

  214. any part of the curse tries to attach itself to you,

  215. open your mouth and declare, I am redeemed. So this

  216. thing about generational curses, put that away. There's all kind

  217. of people out there trying to break generational curses off

  218. off of Christians. What that generational curse was broken. Jesus

  219. took the curse. He became the curse. He became the curse.

  220. All those curses. You don't have to go through this

  221. big litany of prayers to break generational curses. He became

  222. the curse period. And because of his blood that those

  223. curses pre born again pre Jesus in your life, those

  224. curses have no power over you. They did have power

  225. over you until you got born again, but because of

  226. Jesus' blood, the curse has no power over you. You've

  227. you've been set free. You've been freed from all the

  228. curses in every area of your life. So when any

  229. curse tries to attach itself to you, just say hello,

  230. I am redeemed. Amen Number eleven. The blood speaks mercy,

  231. and I just read to you Hebrews four sixteen. I

  232. don't need to read that again, but that's where it

  233. talks about. You know, we can, we can come boldly

  234. to the throne of grace to obtain mercy. And this

  235. blood of Jesus, it speaks for you. It speaks to

  236. you and against your enemy, the devil. And just as

  237. Abel's blood cried out from the ground when he was

  238. murdered by his brother. Jesus blood cried out when it

  239. ran from his body, down the cross and into the

  240. ground on that day he was crucified. But there's a

  241. big difference between Jesus' blood dripping down on earth and

  242. Able's blood crying out from the ground. But instead of

  243. calling for vengeance as Abel's blood did, Jesus' blood spoke

  244. and still speaks better things. It speaks mercy. Ooh, that

  245. is powerful. It cries out for your forgiveness and redemption.

  246. And because the voice of Jesus's blood is powerful and

  247. full of authority and speaking on your behalf, today you

  248. can come boldly to the throne of Grace to obtain

  249. mercy and find great to help and every time a need.

  250. I mean, this is so good. The blood number twelve.

  251. The blood has provided you with an everlasting covenant. The

  252. curse which came on the earth through sin. Right, sin

  253. brought the curse and the work of the devil is

  254. the source of every bad thing on earth. Think about it.

  255. I mean, there's lots of bad things on the earth

  256. today and it's all a result of the curse that

  257. came on the earth through sin and the Devil's you know,

  258. work is manipulations. The curse produces nothing but sickness, poverty, defeat,

  259. and destruction. So you can you can act, actually look

  260. at whole societies. You can even look at nations and

  261. you can see where these people are living under the curse.

  262. There's horrible poverty, lots of destruction, sickness, poverty. Yeah, so

  263. nobody wants to live under the curse. But we have

  264. been provided with an everlasting covenant, and you can experience

  265. true spiritual security because you have a relationship with God

  266. that has no end to it. Your covenant with him

  267. will remain in force and never be interrupted through all

  268. of eternity because Jesus ratified it with his own blood,

  269. and because he did, you can't mess it up. When

  270. you fail. The blood provides mercy for your failure. It

  271. cleanses you and keeps the covenant intact. This should bring

  272. you a lot of comfort. You know, it's wonderful to

  273. know that regardless of your mistakes, your failures, God's never

  274. let me just emphasize the word never going to give

  275. up on you. He started this work of faith in you,

  276. and He's going to finish it. Let me just read

  277. Philippians once uh, Philippians one six, and it says this,

  278. And I am convinced, Paul says, and sure of this

  279. very thing, that He who began a good work in you,

  280. will continue until the day of Jesus Christ, right up

  281. to the time of his return, developing that good work

  282. and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

  283. So Paul was totally convinced that what God started in

  284. each of us, He's going to finish that work, that

  285. good work in us up until the time he comes back.

  286. And he is. He's actually actively doing something for you

  287. and I. He's developing that good work, he's perfecting it,

  288. and he's bringing it to full completion in you and I.

  289. That should encourage you greatly, greatly. And He's going to

  290. finish it. And He's going to do it through the

  291. blood of the Everlasting Covenant Hebrews thirteen twenty and twenty one.

  292. He will make you perfect in every day good work,

  293. to do His will, working in you that which is

  294. well pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom

  295. be glory forever and ever. So we have these are

  296. promises that you can hang on to amen. And lastly,

  297. the blood provides the riches of his grace, and this

  298. is Ephesians two, verse seven says He did this that

  299. he might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come, through

  300. the ages to come, the immeasurable, limitless, surpassing riches of

  301. his free grace, his unmerited favor in his kindness and

  302. goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. So grace

  303. is the power to change and overcome sin. That's what

  304. it does. That's what it's all about. Mercy is God's

  305. power to forgive sins. And guess what. Jesus is rich

  306. in grace, and he gives grace to you and I abundantly.

  307. The riches, this richness of his grace is because of

  308. his blood. Yes, because of his blood. The power of

  309. grace is absolutely amazing. It saves but also changes everything

  310. about us that needs changed, all because of the blood

  311. Ephesians one seven, in whom we have redemption through his blood,

  312. the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.

  313. You see all because God is rich in grace and

  314. he gives it to you and I liberally. I am

  315. way out of time. I hope you enjoyed this teaching.
