You're listening to a message to go from a church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. I got the word actually today to chere we
-
all. But I just want to start by saying that without the Bible says
-
without faith Hebrews the level six, it's impossible to please God. No,
-
this the word faith, right. It is not just for us to feel
-
aform. What's your belief Christ Jesus. You believe that He rose from the
-
day and stuff like that, But this faith must be able to move mounted
-
in our own life, Um Philippius. I think Chapter one speaks about to
-
leave is Christ to die is gain? Right? You know this, You
-
know the scripture and everybody can say that I want to leave for Christ.
-
If you look at the scripture, to leave his Christ to die is gain.
-
The real ascid test whether we are living for Christ is to be able
-
to say that I'm willing to to howe that I want to see Jesus because
-
a lot of times I want to live for Christ, but not necessarily die
-
for Christ. Basically die for Christ. I'm not asking to be a martyr
-
to to go to that place. But really the word is to surrender.
-
It's easy to say that I want to live for Christ and having everything on
-
our terms. But you know when we after you pass about when I was
-
younger, much younger, like you know a few years ago, but it
-
was much younger. You know, Um, you always thought that you could
-
live like you know, you now wish fifty, You now wish sixty and
-
you look at the old auntie in church. Now I've now wish the age
-
you though, I'm forever eighteen or forever twenty one and forever twenty two.
-
Right, But after you pass thirty, right, they start counting like thirty
-
years of my life I passed once you passed forty, right, almost everything
-
accelerate after that. Uh and after a while, right then you begin to
-
realize in your life what's really important and what's really essential, and what's really
-
the words you need to haunt too, because after you can, you can
-
you can go out exit two ways. What is create a name for yourself?
-
But you can't carry everything with you or to really that God, what
-
is your plan for me? So the Bible has a plan for us.
-
You and I got to believe that God did not make a mistake by giving
-
us life. God never made a mistakes. The Bible says that before you
-
were fo I knew you, right, but sometimes just or rather just by
-
knowing us or knowing someone, it's not enough. Because God says, I
-
have a plan for you and me. You and I need to download this
-
plan for us to live a fulfilling life. Because after I was talking to
-
someone who just retired. You know, if you'll be working for almost like
-
let's say forty years, for forty five years, the moment an individual stop
-
with I stopped working, they lose identity sometimes because forty five years, right,
-
you've been trained to wake up early, get ready for work. You
-
know the traffic jam, right, You're sort of like you have you have
-
very limited choices where for lunch? Very limited? Say very limited. It's
-
around the five kilometer radios. How are you on the walk? Okay?
-
If you are the type they grab for your food one the lot bless you
-
all right, but most of versier you understand, okay, every day choice
-
is almost there. Really, when the individual stops working, your almost your
-
identity is gone. You wake up for the very first time after laboring for
-
forty five years? Why am I here for? What's the plan today?
-
When? Sorry? I spoke to this person will just recently retired. I
-
have my the words plan retirement or planned out. I want to do holidays,
-
you know, the dreams I have and stuff like that. And the
-
very first day of retirement, God intervened. I just couldn't get my holiday
-
and goes. God spoke to me in my quiet time, say that you
-
need to get back into employment, employment to will be employed by God to
-
do the things. I began to realize that if we can't to put the
-
words our identity in just in our circular job, the moment the circular job
-
is taken away. Right, we saw loose momentum in life when you know,
-
really for example, off days, public holidays. We just had my
-
recently public holidays. Right. Some of us had to sleep longer than normal.
-
Right, I know some of your sleep until like twelve pm. The
-
lot blessed you. Okay, you have ability to sleep. Seriously, I
-
slept this morning. I wanted to see them. It also woke treat the
-
tea. Yeah, I couldn't sleep after the five then six, then before
-
I came here, I was so sleepy. I was just left for ten
-
minutes by the side of the road. But the holiday is free for all
-
right, You just wake up when you want, and you eat what you
-
want, you do what you want. But could you imagine the next ten
-
years or fifteen years of your life not knowing what to do. It's quite
-
depressing when you know a lot of times, as you we are currently,
-
when you're working right now, you tend to look for us. I want
-
to break, I want the holiday, I want to travel, But the
-
moment we get the place of retirement, there's not much to look out for
-
unless you know what's got plan for you. So I want to share with
-
you. Our church team is actually heavy rules, right, you know that
-
towards the finishing line. But friends, to to be able to know the
-
finishing line, you must start without starting. There's no finishing. Think about
-
it. You can't say you finish a marathon if you need start a marathon.
-
Right. Doesn't mean you wear spots shoe you're running. There's too many
-
people you saw it in in in in the shopping box. They are rather
-
the they like to wear. Active wear doesn't mean a person where active wear
-
means the active. It's true right now, my wife would tell me that
-
this person did not exercise and they loved active web. But now exercise.
-
How do you know? You see when a person walks, if the person
-
does exercise a regular basis, there are ties will just shake so much.
-
This actually told me. I'm like, because my wife loves exercise. Sh
-
yes, basically see that it's your master's supposed to be tight. And we're
-
like, okay, now I'm me saying you're My wife says it's all right.
-
It's so wrongful me to look at judging other people. Though I'm happy
-
with my size. This need to lose a few more kilos. But but
-
this is what happens. Friends. Just because you put on sports shoe,
-
you have the running gear, doesn't mean you actually have started a race.
-
Just because we have a buyble at home, you come to church on a
-
regular basis, give our kivee to the Lord, doesn't mean we're are the
-
race. I have done and conducted a lot of funerals, and sometimes at
-
the funeral of people I'm very close to by no possess a believer, and
-
sometimes also I've tended a lot of funerals. You hear the scripture say I
-
thought the good fight I finished a race. But you can only finish if
-
you start, and too many should sometimes things they are starting, but they
-
actually have new started yet and we can live alive. The words the words
-
can use the word decept deceive because we are thinking that we are all right,
-
we are okay, but we are not. So the classic tests I
-
always help people exist that if I will do a survey right now in this
-
room, how healthy are you in your terms of your cholesterol level. Chances
-
is majority of us you just say all right, maybe border line until unless
-
you actually do a blood test to reveal your cholesterol level right now. But
-
otherwise we think we all right just because we are able to wake up in
-
the morning, have our breakfast, do what we need to do without much
-
complaints of of of of the words, um of irritation of our hearts and
-
stuff like that. Just our Christian book as well. Many times we think
-
our Christianity is all right because we can come to church, we can worship
-
the Lord. We have more than one version of the Bible. Really sometimes
-
different worship the Bible makers feels that we are most spiritual. True right,
-
maybe you have more than one studied Bible all right, and after a wild
-
wide we can go through life thinking we are all right. So we still
-
I pick up a book. It's called out Leaf, so it's a medical
-
doctor looking into people's life about cancer. And you say that in life there's
-
only two ways to die already, there's two death, fast death or slow
-
death. Fast death. If if you hit a can't hit you, you
-
doubt on the spot. Slow death is how I call it a heart disease.
-
And this stuff like that cancer heart disease very slow to say. By
-
the time you go and see a doctor, he says that prescribe medication for
-
you, it's about too late. Really, you can only prolong your life
-
a bit. Here's why you want to say that. A lot of times
-
we only we say doctor when there is pain. True medication comes when you
-
actually take stock much earlier in life today, if you hear the Lot's wars
-
of what he's speaking to you, pay attention to the word, you can
-
actually save your life so that by the time you reach a certain age you
-
look, you can look back and you can say that my God is real.
-
A lot of times, without the testing, there will be no testimony.
-
Think about it. Without the starting, there will be no finishing.
-
And many Christian things they are on the race because of firstimity. I thought
-
the group five, I kept the fifth I finished the race. We think
-
we are on the race, but actually able to run in any race,
-
there is a certain guidelines you need to run by, adhere to right not
-
what about Christian faith? So towards the finishing line, friends, it's a
-
stock remind it's a stop reminder for us. It's not a doom day profit
-
kind of thing, but it's just to remind us. Really, at the
-
end of the day, what's really portant about faith? You see our faith
-
that we have here the Bible sites, you can move mountains, but many
-
times you don't activate their faith only because that we have not the words.
-
We don't we don't maybe we have not seen enough role modeling. Maybe some
-
of you are very young in your faith, whereby you have not seen people
-
move in a supernatural and because of that, our version of faith is like,
-
oh, I'm serving one extra day. I need more faith because you
-
might get burned out. Our version of faith, friends, has been bigger
-
that No. I mean, our Christianity can just share this with our crescider
-
has to be bigger that struggling we burn out. Think about it because if
-
God just die, us die on the cross. For us to the word
-
is to shoot us from burning out. Then do you think the Bible needs
-
to be so thick man? But the Bible is there for you and for
-
me really to grab pole of it. So if you have your Bible with
-
you, just turn with me right now to metro Trade eight nineteen. You
-
know the scripture trade in nineteen was twenty. Let me give you the plan
-
that God has for us, Matthew Trade, it was nineteen to twenty.
-
Right. It says, go, therefore make disciples of our nation. The
-
Bible is very clear, friends, He has never asked our faith to remain
-
statenant. Matth twenty eight was ninety says go. Therefore, first, you
-
and I have been commissioned by the Lord to go. Too many people struggle
-
with this because they think it's only for the missionary, it's only for the
-
leaders, it's only for the one. But the Bible here the say go.
-
Therefore it do not say goal leaders go, missionary go food time,
-
workers go, pasts or elders. And many times if we continue to go
-
out, think about our life that this scripture verse is not for me.
-
You and I will not the words embrace the food plan of God for all
-
life. So the Bible here say, go what stopping us? What is
-
actually holding us back from going? I recently, Raphael used to be power
-
my homes. I used to be power of these homes for nine nine,
-
ten years. I think we drive. I already be brave to an hour
-
plus an hour an hour at ten fifteen minutes traffic. This is the normal
-
traffic. The words I got was on our ent thirty minutes or sometimes after
-
the big people up about two hours just to get to homes. But going
-
is that were easy? Never easy? So after doing homes in the particular
-
for ten years, I said enough ready, and therefore I want to start
-
another new homes. Friends. The desire to start at home, it's not
-
because oh I want to chalk points with Jesus, No such thing. The
-
desire to do things for the Lord is say that God, I only have
-
one life. Some people may know it. I had the time before God
-
spent my life in twenty twenty, twenty twenty. I know I'm living on
-
board time because if God wants the home means my assignment is that or maybe
-
prematurely I feel, but I know that God spent me for a reason,
-
and this reason has been bigger than just the word is earning what I need
-
to earn. So therefore I just spoke to a few people, say I
-
want to plant another home, some to reach out to another group of people
-
that I may not be very familiar with. The desire to go doesn't come
-
from the fact that, oh I saw a brochure and too many creatures are
-
looking for the brochure, travel brochure to go. You only pick your holiday
-
destination after you watch a lot of travel video locks true or not, Jesus
-
said, go what is stopping us? What's stopping you? I'm so tired.
-
Really, you don't understand. I got a lot of responsibility. Yes,
-
but God did not say those or those who have lesser responsibility only go.
-
Those with those who is not a general manager, only go if you're
-
even year, If you are the seal of your organization, you're supposed to
-
go. Because to stay stagnant is to die a slow death. To stay
-
stechnan, our faith will never be the word has come to full maturity.
-
When we started the church, we will only treat. We had no financial
-
backing, we had no references. You will understand, these friends that when
-
you start the church or anything right. We have system. No, we
-
just had faith to believe our God will come to for us. We have
-
a bill, or rent a bill on a weekly basis. It hungrid.
-
We rent a hotel. One time it hungrid. Our monthly collection was six
-
hundred. But passer by faith just declared we are going to be in a
-
hotel because this place we're meeting right now is too small. See a lot
-
of times Christian, the words get entangled with so many other things except to
-
go. We want the words can use the word beautify a location instead of
-
going. So the moment I remember the very first time we have a meeting
-
in the hotel, the very first day we come to the offering, there
-
was a lady. They just came into a service. She wrote a check
-
for exactly the same amount for the renter for the week. Every week the
-
renter is paid. Friends, it is not by coincident. God wants to
-
show something for us. Not by coincident. Friends, there are a lot
-
of stories in our church because we have nowhere. We are not. We
-
are not a church that actually took a name from Australia to start the church.
-
We got to believe the same God that moved powerfully in the West can
-
use us to start the church. We have to believe that our God,
-
that we have friends it regardless of our skin color, our education background.
-
As long as we have faith, the same God that empower George Mueller Hudson
-
Taylor can power us to do great things for him. But many times why
-
we don't go is because, oh, I'm nobody. I am not like
-
that. I'm not eloquent. I'm going shoot from scripture after it's what it
-
means. Go therefore and make disciples first. You cannot go without faith.
-
Can you say this? You cannot go without faith. If you want to
-
go, be ready to walk on water. Be ready to walk on water.
-
Friends, Savio heard the story before. I'm sure that a few preacher
-
I preach it. But Edinburgh was the product of X kids. Mansing attended
-
X kids, X tids X campus and she when she flew over to Scotland
-
to study, she took past a can of days. That small, petite
-
sized girl, maybe about five ft one past. I got no background,
-
but if you ask me to do it, give me a space. I'll
-
try. No background. Friends, but she just believed if God called her
-
there, I'm not here. Just here for an education. I'm here for
-
also for a testimony. All she did was past, I'm just going write
-
my friends the church. Back there was about five or six people. Right
-
now it's about fifteen fifteen people, and about two weeks or one month ago,
-
there was one we dedication with I'm not wrong. One of a friends
-
friend who's the Spanish guy, wanted to come to church. Friends. I'm
-
not sure how many can speak Spanish, but if you can, praise a
-
lot. But most of these people do not know how to Spanish. She
-
got more resources. They passed. I got this guy how how your messages
-
are all in English? She decided to use technology. She decided to use
-
AI to translate the messages into Spanish. Paintstickularly, she translated transcribes so that
-
this one person could hear the message. Our messages over their friends are mostjority
-
are stream buyer buya, zoom to there. We now made the preacher.
-
We'll get on about four pm. There's about eleven something and they will preach
-
from here to their friends. Could you imagine one five ft one girl have
-
faith to believe. I'm not just here for an education, I'm he also
-
here for testimony. And because of that, God honor her. She passed
-
up. She has good. She has good examine results as well. But
-
you got to see that this faith that we have is not just friends.
-
It's not just for us to fill up on the form faith Christian has to
-
be bigger than that. So go there for make dissembles all nations, baptizing
-
them a name of Father, decide Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all
-
things. I just want to focus on two words here, go and disciple
-
go and cciper. Going requires faith. Discipleship requires commitment. You cannot go
-
without make disciples. Though, I'm just going to bodly say these friends,
-
it is not enough just to go. We have to make disciples because only
-
a disciple can plant a hope. Only a disciper can lead. Many times,
-
I've saw many Christians before, and I've encountered before that elder. My
-
discipler is the pastor I watch on the web. All those amazing preachers that
-
you watch online are fantastic teachers, but they're not going to hold your hand
-
when you're in the hospital. I want you to know that they're not going
-
to be there to cry with you when the guy breaks up with you or
-
the girl, none of these amazing teacher and you watch on the internet.
-
It's gonna be there for you when you give birth. It takes a local
-
church over here to walk with you, to cry with you, to rejoice
-
together with you. That's why discipleship is so important, and why don't we
-
want to be descibled, because it's all therefore human who control us another personal
-
controllers. I won't show you from the Bible que to remain right now to
-
X chapter three except three verse one X chapter three, verse one, the
-
way I will take up the eleven ten on the second except the tree was
-
one right now, Peter, enjoy mine up together to the tempo at our
-
pray the ninth hour, where it was Peter and John going temper temper.
-
Very important, friends, if you're looking for a disciple, look for people
-
who actually attends a church. Who actually attends a church. The Bible says
-
Peter and John went up to the temper to pray. Look for disciples that
-
actually praise. Friend. Too many people just look at the stage. I'm
-
gonna I'm passionate. Too many people are just looking at the stage. Or
-
just because you can play five instruments, you must be anointed. True,
-
Okay, I would't I wouldn't be seeing you next week, So praise a
-
lot. You know. I love you, guys. I'm just passionate about
-
this. A person who's revived in the Lord will be found in the prayer
-
service. A person who's revived in the Lord will be found in the prayer
-
service. You think about it for a moment. Sunday is good, but
-
prayer it's even better because Sunday sometimes can mass. I will hide our spirituality
-
or where we are with the Lord. But prayer service is key because God,
-
I truly believe you can move. I want to pray for things to
-
happen. Friends. You get to know that your faith that you have friends.
-
So in our church, we saw one missionary son while the sun mixed
-
with the wrong crowd. I got in wolf with drugs, got in jail,
-
and I was about to be given the death sentence. But really the
-
father came up to us. We prayed together with him for forty days in
-
fasting and prayer. We pray, God, please have mercy on this family.
-
This man served you so faithfully. Missionary gave up his whole life to
-
serve you. Please give this son a second chance by sure technicality. Friends,
-
God came true and if he was released. The moment he was released,
-
the family took the first flight out. After that the police really look
-
at the thing again. Why did we release him? Let's get him back
-
to jail. We were everywhere a very young church. We wanted to reach
-
out to a place in India combi Har and now give them. They will
-
fry and raise funds to buy a piece of lead. It's cost a lot
-
of money. It's a outcome inment. As a small church time, we
-
were about fifty plus people to raise up close about ten thousand US small church.
-
We were about ninety percent campus than a ten percent working in right,
-
you're working adults, no millionaires, no billionaires. You know, ten thousand
-
maybe to some of us could be a small amount, but but if you're
-
a campus, so then it's a huge amount of But we truly believe God,
-
if this is your plan for us, you'll provide. And God came
-
to we actually raise up the money and give it to the past, so
-
that this is what we men should raise up. Friends, you got to
-
see it and you got to believe, friends, that this is what we
-
have. So Peter and John went up to temple because they believe. You
-
will only do what you believe. Friends, if you believe in prayer,
-
you'll be there at prayer. I'm not saying, I'm not asking, I'm
-
not saying that just because you know a Temperaire series don't believe. But you
-
understand, man, I say that you when you believe, you will make
-
time for it. You believe. So, I think last Friday the homes
-
you did on quiet time, right right, quiet time. If you believe
-
in quiet time, you do it quiet time. If you believe in reading
-
the Bible, you read the Bible. So you only do what you believe.
-
Peter and John the Bible says and the our prayer. They went to
-
the temper. The pray was two. A certain man name from the Manu's
-
world was carried and late that daily at the temper, which is called beautiful.
-
Friends, what irony it is? Right? The temper is called beautiful.
-
But here's a life and individual life. Since young was lame cannot walk.
-
The church could be a very pretty place, but that doesn't mean a
-
lot if you have life that's under bondage. The church, friends, could
-
be a very pretty place, but if our life is still in bondage and
-
in chain. There is no brick true God this morning wants to remind us
-
and teach us that is not enough just to be in fun a temper.
-
It's not enough. Just sounds like I'm broken record just to attend church.
-
Because there's so much more. Friends, You got to believe, there's really
-
so much more. I shared this last ridea I was given a privilege to
-
share what really you know, as a Christian, you heard a lot of
-
messages, right, not as a believer, you hear a lot of messages
-
radio. The real one of the ass it's really is to go for a
-
mission. It really when you go for a mission trip to our our Astley
-
indigenous people group here and you're scaredul to preach, scedul to speak of to
-
share, it really suggests your heart because what are you going to share to
-
a group of people that just really wanted they're veeable to grow. You can't
-
tell them tive ten percent the lawyer, what's your washable grow? They are
-
playing guitar without strings because that's all that they have in the interiors. So
-
you got to believe, friends, that this God that we have is not
-
just for the urban, but it has to work wherever God plants us,
-
so some we may not know that. No, we have our Pastle kind
-
of wrote out of honestly a past a couple of songs. We have one
-
of the songs translated to a local language, not Massa Malaysia, but the
-
world of the local tribe language Iban. We translated that. So last sweet
-
Pastor kenn Of was bin to with the group of SIB leaders over there and
-
say, hey, we have this song. Let's just let me play it
-
for you and see if you're missed to it, and also please help us
-
to check our translation whether we are correct or not, because you know,
-
this language is not a common language. So they played it, they loved
-
it, and they came up to us, or came out to Pastor and
-
they said this, Pastor, can we use your song to reach out to
-
the long house in the interiors of Sawa. Pastor, can we use this
-
song? Then you translated. We don't even have a proper person that's very
-
fluent in this language. We have someone in our organization who speaks a bit.
-
Her relative. We help to translate a bit. We put everything together.
-
We big will never be a basta Malaysia, because that's what they say
-
he uses at the other side of the country. We just this song out
-
of obedience God, if can use anyone, can you use us? Not
-
so friends. The gate can be called beautiful, but if you're not inside
-
the temper, it doesn't really mean a lot. One of the preachers I
-
heard recently shared this in his quiet time say God, I'm not a good
-
speaker, but if any time all this a list superstar Christian, I will
-
say no to you called would you consider my life or not and use me?
-
He just said this though he's just This was his almost his daily prayer,
-
and this individual found the World Vision and Samaritan purs He just shared this,
-
God, I started when I speak, I can't sing in tune,
-
but if you can just consider using me when everyone who those really talented individuals
-
who sit who say they've got no time to serve or do you want to
-
go there? God, I'm willing to go. That was his simple prayer,
-
and God brought him to a journey whereby he started the World Vision.
-
When I heard that, I went like, Wow, our faith really can
-
move the moutains. So this man limb from Mother's world carry to the in
-
front of daily to the temper gate asking for money for everyone who went into
-
the temper. It's funny, right, not in front of banker, because
-
if you want to ask for money, wouldn't you put the person in front
-
of the bank, right, Not because of one transaction? What do you
-
do it at the bank transact money? What do you do at the temper?
-
Threads? Of course he's tapping into people's see that or right, the
-
compassion. But a temper is a place for the supernatural. Thing about it,
-
Why do we pray because there are certain things in life we can't do
-
right? Why do we need to pay? Because there certain things in our
-
life we know that we need the anchor. A temper is place where you
-
pray, you seek God, and you want the supernatural to take place in
-
the natural. Here's a guy laying from birth. Once he passed through the
-
doorstep that was supernatural, but he remains outside. Maybe because I got a
-
couple of curious I'm just trying to just just go with me on this line,
-
right, Maybe because he went inside before nothing happened and he came out.
-
You know, your disappointment will actually set you on the path whereby all
-
this is not for me. Your disappointment will set you on the path whereby
-
you'll miss out on God's planet. Your disappointment will actually literally the power by
-
I don't want to believe anymore, but God this morning want was to remind
-
us and the words resurrect that belief again. Maybe you could be burned out,
-
discouraged, disappointed, but God, this morney wants to remind us that
-
I got so much more for you, so much more for if only you
-
believe. So. The layman was Tree, seeing Peter and John about to
-
go into type, He asked money from them, fixing his eyes on him.
-
Peter, and you're saying, look, look at us. It was
-
Tree and for Okay, let's let me try to break this out for your
-
Too many times we are asking for a physical answer, a physical answer for
-
spiritually, a physical answer for spiritual it. I was talking to one educator
-
about a month ago, he said the elder, Oh, no, no,
-
no, let me just reminder. I was talking to our school administrator.
-
We have a school, coll Vic Tree Academy, and we have a
-
student in that came in to our school. And this student came in front
-
our school, came a very very well known international school Summer located in Striatamas,
-
very well known international school. Parents brought us, brought the child our
-
schools and told this our school administrator, please help my child. I do
-
not want to lose my child. Please help my child. Friends. Our
-
school is call VIEC. Tree Academy. It's not even an international school.
-
It's just a home school. It's such a simple, humble home school meeting
-
at summit, not a fantastic location like streets and this parents just say this
-
that I'm afraid if I allow my child to remain in the school, I
-
will lose my child. This parent knew that the natural cannot answer the deepest
-
longing in an individuous heart. Doesn't mean that we have all the toys and
-
gadgets and every nice cleaner get in touch with by can give you a sense
-
of who you are, your identity and your self worth. But today many
-
times people are looking at longer that God, I just need money. Money
-
can solve my problem, Money can solve my thing. Just give me what
-
I want in the natural, I'll be happy. And this is what the
-
layman was asking Peter and John. This was what the layman was asking God.
-
God, if you were to grab me this, I'll be more than
-
happy. Friends, God's plan has never moved by just giving us stuff.
-
One because if it was his plan to give us stuff alone and make us
-
happier, go there for us or being a car house a life partner,
-
then you make disciples. It doesn't work that way, friends. The Bible
-
says it met two sixty three sicky for the kingdom of what everything I should
-
be added? Unto you, friends, you and I got to believe fave
-
doestick time. Can I just say this, sometimes you pray today, you
-
can't be realization the next twenty years, only you realize that. No,
-
I'm not saying that you pray for life partner now and then only sixty you
-
find your life. But no, no, he doesn't something. But I'm
-
talking about character. I'm talking about our spiritual it all right? So have
-
you been asking the natural to answer all the purslonging? Have you been just
-
asking God? If only you give me a better job. I'll be happier
-
if only have been schedule wants in every two months. I'm I'm more happy
-
to serve you, a Lord. So if that's our art, if that's
-
what I've been praying for Can I just encourage you to re look at that
-
again, Do not fall in to the trap of just thinking too small because
-
this lame person couldn't recognized be then John, all he can just ask for
-
you must be a man of wealth. Therefore give me money. Friends,
-
you and I got to be We need you. We need to have these
-
confidence friends that I regardless of who sit across the table, just because the
-
persons more wealth than you physically doesn't mean you're a lesser. Think about it.
-
Just because the persons sity across you have more cars than you doesn't mean
-
that you are poorer. It doesn't mean that way. I've sat down with
-
people who have more zeros in the bank account than me and more numbers in
-
them me, but not even generous friends, I want to encourage you.
-
Really sick the Lord. Ask the Lord what exactly does he want from you?
-
Why would be asking from the Lord? So I'm just gonna share a
-
few more storry. I not gonna end the next fifteen minute story. Our
-
church, we were led to do a concert for Malaysia. Really very strange.
-
I will go this very weird calling from the Lord. So anyway,
-
let's do a concert from Malaysia and one of them I remember. The first
-
one was a community concert. You know we do the world community there.
-
You know that you definitely cannot chart you adio right. So we wrote to
-
Sunway Group and they gave us an MP dater this place that we can do
-
some you know Sunday this is part quite empre theater. We had a concert
-
and we just didn't. So I got by chance that there was a band
-
from New Zealand came over the Malasia said hey, they want to holds the
-
band aout. We say okay, sure, but friends, this let you
-
even though even though it's a Christian band, you have to pay for certain
-
things. This is how the january was coward there they're at part of the
-
etiquette and this stuff like that and the honorarium. So when we did that,
-
friends, we had something called it's called Christmas at the part concert to
-
bless the community. We invite your friends from Christmas. This band came again.
-
Our organization not backed back out by anybody. We just if God,
-
if you want us to do this, you orchestrate everything and we know the
-
money will come. I remember attending the concert. We pastor and power of
-
the organization team. After the concert, a businessman came up, the word,
-
I was so blessed by tonight. Here's a stack of cash for you
-
to pay whatever need to pay. I remember in my black pocket and right
-
pocket. One size is about ten k, says about ten k. After
-
I was sorry about the past, some much top off my LIGs. That's
-
pret decayed there with you. But this guy with this business, this was
-
back in the night early two thousand. No, no electronic transfer, nothing
-
at all, brought a stack of cash. It this cowared Abut because I'm
-
so blessed, minister to it. I'm sharing this, you know, not
-
because of the money sharming you, because the testimony coming up from it.
-
Without the step of faith and obedience, you're not going to see a brick
-
shoe. So this man, lame man, sitting out there. So Peter
-
and John said, look at me, friends, let's get our eyes eyes
-
off the lameness in our life. You want to finish too, you want
-
hit those a finishing line. Let's get our eyes off the excuses of why
-
we cannot get up. Let's get our eyes off of things that they're holding
-
us back. How they only you understand, if you only you know my
-
background. If you knew my background, I can't be used by God in
-
a way. You're asking me too. So one month ago I had a
-
chance to speak to these I'm working it out. He came from a background
-
whereby mom died when he was young, about fifteen years a mom died.
-
Parents are a small hock stare and stuff like all right, right, uh,
-
fritus right and uh and uh. And he came to our church,
-
his ex good friend body in our church. He got saved in our church.
-
And the story went by. Have you asked him, why do you
-
become a leader? We deciphered become No, cannot do one. You know,
-
once you become a leader, no more freedom really, no more life
-
really, no more joy. Your life would be very busy. Really maybe
-
it's truer, all right, But I say, no, what I can
-
serve? I don't that tight that I can serve. So for the longest
-
time we'll be asking him. Serves already be a leader. Then one day,
-
one day he came out for autocore crying because during the message, the
-
preacher spoke the exact word that was in his heart, exactly what you know.
-
Sometime friends, I want to let you know, no matter what sales
-
can you use the what sales plan? You you want to? You want
-
to as person full time, serve, serve, become a leader. No
-
matter what you do, what when the person won until unless God moves the
-
person out. So this individual sit down from me. Oh that camera for
-
all to crying because the preacher spoke exactly the same word I was asking God
-
for. Then when you pray for me out there, I've just sense that
-
I have served God in this capacity. You and I need to get our
-
eyes off, that's what you say. Look at me, friends, look
-
at me. Why we've been looking at friends? Just a circumstances. Let's
-
look towards God. When you look towards God, you're looking towards your future.
-
When it looks towards God, you're looking for a brickshoe. It's not
-
enough just to remain. Maybe we're supposed to look towards the future God has
-
for us if regardless of what we went to pass the past the past,
-
friends, let's move and say God, here I am again. She I
-
am again and maybe the only girl, but I'm going to serve you,
-
I mean the only individual. I'm here to serve your Lord, I don't
-
want to let the circumstances to limit me from experiencing your fullness. And this
-
is what Peter enjoyment. He looked at the layman, come on, look
-
at me, Come on, look at me. Let sen me read to
-
you a few more, just a few more post of the scripture at the
-
end. Ready, So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something
-
from them. It's true he thought he would receive money just by looking at
-
them, But he received a greater break true, the ability to walk again.
-
I truly believe he's not just a physical walking that he experienced. There
-
was a breakthrough in his spirit, because the Bible says that he was found
-
in the temple with shipping God. If it's just a physical break true,
-
you don't want you never had before. You really want to enjoy it.
-
Remember, we just trading one days or fasting? Is it to those who
-
who went to the new fast? Trading one day is the first thing that
-
you're able to eat again? What do you do? You went meat right
-
right? Now? Come on, you're went meet right right, you're you're
-
you're went all out by all the stick that you want, and just just
-
decide pick out right, this man, the Bible says you read except three
-
went back to the temper, because I truly believe he experienced more than the
-
physical healing. Heals her experience of spiritual healing as well. But here's what
-
I'm going to how I'm gonna end worse. Seven. Okay, I got
-
no time to bring this out to you. I've got a few more notes.
-
Just try to do this great verse seven, Peter took him by the
-
right, can lift him up immediately his feet and can bones receive strength?
-
Peter lift him up. Peter left him up. Friends, earlier, my
-
scripture was go and therefore make disciples. Right, your disciples is the only
-
person to lift you up. Friends, see this right now? Many times
-
you say I don't need anyone. I can lift go on my own.
-
You can't, because our life was not to meet on our own. Known
-
friends, you are caught to be accountable. Likely enough, friends, That's
-
how it is. Even in marriage, husband is accountable with the wife,
-
The wife is accountable to the husband. What more, our own life as
-
a believer. Because you know how easy to see that? Like, say
-
again, right, if I had to ask you how healthy are you?
-
I'm healthy, very healthy, but the moment you did the blood test.
-
And this is what happened when I had a conversation with one of our church
-
members that I said, mcle how are you okay? My BP good hallie
-
fatty foot on. Maybe during Chinese New you only, but friends, we
-
celebrate Chinese you almost every other month. If you understand I'm trying to say,
-
because you never quantify, how are you even your friends? Or you
-
forgot really well because never think about it. Right, I'm okay, what
-
if it wants wants to do well? I feel irritated. My chest area
-
got be an irritation. I said, I'm gole. The best way to
-
know where they not go to an endiogram of your heart and then you know
-
where this block or not. But the one now, the one I think,
-
I'm okay, I can one. I'm good, It's okay. One.
-
Just go it. They say this is endogram. They won't actually drink
-
it. They just give you an injection. Just feel warm a bit,
-
Just go do the X ray. The radiology will call you in it.
-
Just show your heart. He did that. Horrors of Horror found out that
-
three of his main are three almost about to be almost about to be don't
-
have to do a surgery. One more is a tea joint area, which
-
is impossible to do anything except for or bypass. You see what I'm trying
-
to get that before the introgram, before the heart scanner. I'm okay,
-
I still k mc all right. I still can't walk a bit. Maybe
-
once in the wilda once in the wild, but I two can manage.
-
But until unless you put yourself to the test. And that's why you and
-
I need a discipline in our life, because we will always make excuses.
-
I'm sorry use the word We're always gonna make excuses why we cannot well ship
-
Let the one lah you know how scary it needs not to lead to stand
-
for our people. They all got like fifty pairs I looking at you know,
-
the moment you sing a wrong note, really though, like the eyebrow
-
go up. Really the one chapters that cannot h I Craig Joe, nobody
-
laugh, huh. A lot of reasons why you cannot. You need you
-
need a discipler saying it's okay, just lead God, you not ask us
-
Craiger Joe. You just ask us to lead, because if it was Craig
-
go Therefore, I become a joker. No, friends, That's why I
-
disciple. So I bought because I descibler where it carrias you lift you up.
-
The moment you stand up, you get strength. You see many times
-
I can stand on my own. Yes, maybe you can. But what
-
happened when you fall? You fall on your own as well. That's why
-
the scripture is true. I think somewhere I've forgotten if we always cood this
-
for a wedding, one one person is cool. I think it takes two
-
persons to keep each other warm. Mm hmmm, mm hmm. Many times
-
in our own life we go through our life thinking that I just can survive
-
from my own. You can't. Because if that's the case, could you
-
imagine why the God create Eve to put together with Adam. My mom and
-
my dad attends a Methodist church in their home area. One of the ministry
-
or the ministry. They they have a passion to reach out to the to
-
the singers who are in their seventies or mid seventies, already neglected of them
-
are neglected by the children. So she will tell me of different individuals that
-
they are alone here in Malaysia, or nobody cook for them and stuff like
-
that. Even the person whose singer needs needs companionship, needs someone to talk
-
to. So we silely. I found out my dad was entertaining a bunch
-
of j w your warwinesses in in my own house. The whiting strangers say
-
that, do you know how dangerous is the vice stry interest in the house
-
and not? She's o Kayla just having a composition with dead people on your
-
See, you're not see. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not
-
talking talking about about that. I'm just saying that you're not meant to be
-
alone a friends. That's why you need people to lift you up to encourage
-
you. Otherwise I can honestly let you know, I'm going to close.
-
Ready. The alarm talk that you have in your life, you snooze.
-
Think about it, the alarm talk in your life, your snooze, your
-
succor suker. Today you decided to snooze another fifteen minutes. My wife is
-
a queen of snoozing alarm. I don't understand why one, I say,
-
why do you God created alarm the first place for you to wake up?
-
Why you need to snooze? The greatest joy in a person life to wake
-
up before the alarm. I took this, this myteria. So she sets
-
it at eight, it oh five, it ten, fifteen, it twenty
-
twenty five thirty. I say that why on earth that you need no?
-
So the act words slow, wake up, slow wake up. If I
-
wake up media again, he is how I'm going to end. Okay,
-
if there's nobody challenging and telling them person no, there will be days whereby
-
you can first wake up one sure the redation life, you can do it.
-
One who said that you cannot leave the homes, who say extras can
-
must only remain one service? So I feel like, because who say extrast
-
You're always going to remain one keybodies only you think bye for a moment?
-
Who said that you are not able to for fill God's plans in your life?
-
So bitter and John lift him up, strength him to his anchors.
-
He followed Peter John into the temper, worshiping God therefore for filling the scripture.
-
Go therefore and make disciples of all nation, teaching them to observe all
-
things, teaching them to observe all things friends. At the end of the
-
day, the anger of disciples ship is to make sure the person's plucked into
-
God via a church, not away from church. Can you say this because
-
if and if you find yourself drifting away further, get plucked in again.
-
I'm going to close right now and pray for us. Friends. I don't
-
know where you are, your journey and how you have been. But there's
-
a scripture that says, what profit does it wouldn't get if everything that you
-
want but you lose a real you? What profit do? You get everything
-
that you want but you loses the real you. The true encouragement for you
-
and for me today is to know that God has a plan for me.
-
God has a plan for you. If only you just the word is that
-
you come to a place whereby you receive. Do you know how hard it
-
is to receive from the Lord? It's a standards through the words. I
-
was doing this illustration at home, so I see that. You know,
-
we're so staved by encouragement of affirmation. You're so not used to it when
-
people score ears or when we experienced scoding in our childhood, where we're used
-
to it. Kenna can't take it one just when someone say that you're able
-
to you're beautiful. You know when you compliment someone and you look good to
-
the Yeah, I got this on discount. It's the first thing that we
-
say because we never think too much about our self. Friends, your life
-
is not a discounted life. Ext church, the way we do church,
-
you want to encourage everybody that it's possible. The greatest joy is to be
-
able to invest in someone's life, not just a stage, but really invest
-
in someone's life. The greatest joy is to see someone get delivered marriages here.
-
The greatest joy is to see someone that wants wants to take their own
-
life because there's no hope in the future to come back to a pace whereby
-
I could see a light, I could see a future. The different individus
-
are walking in our church who the word is that I wish I could die.
-
And we've been praying for individuals like that. My wife ministering to some
-
of these people, going out there on a weekly basis. She got to
-
believe God has a plan for you. See, the greatest joy is for
-
us, not just us to make millions from the greatest choice, even to
-
the means that we make. God, I know that you have a plan
-
for what you blessed me with. Because purpose can only be found in God,
-
not in things. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
-
more information on our church, please visit X Church to RG. We are
