You're listening to a message to go from as church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. We're gonna turn to a Second Peter chapter one.
-
Okay, So I'm not going to go through all, but I will
-
just give a brief quick recap. Okay, so um, you know the
-
author. Okay, I would like my children too, now, now this
-
might I teach my children also, So I always ask them a lot of
-
questions, So better listen after that. I come back going to ask questions
-
later as well. So Second Peter was written by who Peter? Right?
-
Obviously Peter an apostle, and who is he writing too? No, I'm
-
gonna be listening, right, just three questions. He's writing to the church
-
overall, okay, overall church, is not writing to any particular church.
-
Of course, if you look at other books, right, the Book of
-
Efficians, the Book of Romans, the Book of Collosians, there are specific
-
locations that he was writing too. But for this book of Second Peter,
-
Peter is not just an apostle, He's not just an elder. He is
-
also the leader of the church over roll, okay. And he's addressing this
-
letter to the church overall. And he knows one thing very clearly is that
-
he is going to no longer be with them physically. Okay, he's actually
-
he knows that the Roman emperor and that at that time was the Roman Emperor
-
Nero. How many of you know about this Emperor Roman Nero her before?
-
Have you seen a picture of a Roman you know, a drawing of a
-
Roman Rome on fire before? Did you know that Roman Rome needs to be
-
on fire? A big part of Rom fire? And then there was a
-
guy who was sitting on the roof of a temper playing with his fidle.
-
That was the emperor. Okay. So basically, I mean, if I
-
could, I would give you guys a history lesson. Basically, Rome was
-
in a mess and suddenly there was a fire that was started in the whole
-
Rome. And it was started in the poorer area of Rome, Okay,
-
And there was because the Emperor Nero didn't like Rome as it was. He's
-
like, he likes the beautiful part now on the reach, the sophisticated,
-
the cultural part. But when he went to the other side where those slams
-
were, where all the poor people were, where a lot of Christians were,
-
he didn't like that, and he wanted to remake all of Rome,
-
and then he wanted to evacuate them and then remake them. And so he
-
went to the Senate and then to propose this idea. Okay, so he
-
couldn't make it, or that he needed to go to the Senate where different
-
leaders were there they would give a vote. So but they decided no,
-
it was just too cruel to do that. And so suddenly, I don't
-
know where, there was a fire and that started in that area of Rome.
-
WHOA, I wonder how he started. I wonder why it started.
-
And instead of calling for help, the emperor was not to be found anywhere
-
but playing and rejoicing around. Wow. But then he real lines that people
-
start to suspect that he was the guy who started the fire in Rome,
-
and people became very curious why. And so he decided to what to divert
-
attention from him? And what did he do? He started to blame one
-
particular group of people, and who better to blame dandy Christians. They will
-
say, these Christians are the ones who were foreigners who came in with their
-
funny religion. They say they drink blood and eat meat from the body.
-
They think our communion drinking the blood of Jesus and partikuing of his body.
-
They thought that we were cannibals, you know, literally in history they actually
-
thought Christians were cannibals. You know that. Wow. So they train their
-
change Christianity into a cult, into a cannibalistic cult. So nowadays you'll see
-
it in the same thing as well. You cannot you cannot trust a lot
-
of news that you read, isn't it a lot of news that will try
-
to distort, to pervert a lot of things from the truth into something that
-
is evil as well. And it was done in the same time, and
-
so the Christians were heavily persecuted by the locals, by the religion and by
-
the leaders and the religion of the world. At the same time the Jews,
-
okay, the Jews didn't like the Christians as well. The Jews will
-
actually betrayed the Christians and tell the Romans where the Christians are hiding. And
-
so the Christians who were betrayed when now were running away from the Romans.
-
But yet at the same time on their left that were being betrayed by their
-
own brothers and sisters in Israel as well. They were there in a very
-
very hard time. And so Peter at this time was captured by the Romans,
-
and he was the main leader of the church. The main guy of
-
the Christian movement was being captured and it's going to be executed by Nero himself.
-
Okay, and Nero and eventually, if you read the history, Peter
-
himself what was eventually crucified, and he requested to be crucified upside down because
-
he deemed himself not worthy of Jesus history. Lesson how many of you did
-
you know about his history before? No, right, go ahead and study.
-
It's very exciting. One. You have no idea how much pressures faith
-
that we have are because people sacrifice, people martyred for this faith. You
-
know, but you must see you understand that the Christian faith at that moment
-
was at a very very tender and fragile spot because the main leader is being
-
crucified. You may write, the main leader was being crucified, and Peter
-
in in knowing his time, is he's writing to these people, Okay.
-
And not only did he know that the people are being persecuted, the churches
-
okay, at that time were being infiltrated by false teachers or I tell you
-
talk about church having a problems, there's so much problem or now we have
-
like in fightings, disagreements sometimes in the church, in the family, the
-
church is like government attack and then wolves coming into your church trying to steal
-
and then try to cheat people money, have a autree, oh sorts of
-
problem. It doesn't mean that God is not with us you, I mean,
-
right, doesn't mean that bad times happening in the church. That doesn't
-
mean that bad times happened in your family. Was right, doesn't mean that
-
God is not with you. God is with you, but he's not just
-
gonna take you away from it. He's gonna take you through the tribulation and
-
the difficult times and stand. So it's a lot of times about hanging on
-
and going through the difficult times. God is always taking us through the difficult
-
times. And so this is a no not because of the time. I
-
can explain a bit to you guys. So Peter was writing here and he
-
was dealing with three mainly with false teachers. Okay, the false teachers who
-
were teaching three main problems, teaching three main false teachings. I think I
-
explain to you guys before right, what were the three main false teachings.
-
Number one, they didn't believe that Jesus is the son of God. Okay,
-
they believe that Jesus can perform many miracles. He can turn water into
-
wine. I believe he can south demons. I believe that he can feed
-
five thousand people, you know, But I don't think he's the son of
-
God. And even now, there are many religions, there are religions in
-
this world, even major religions. They claim try to claim Jesus for themselves.
-
Okay, they claim Jesus for themselves, means inside their religion. They
-
also mentioned Jesus. One h Jesus. They will say Jesus is a good
-
teacher, Jesus is a good healer. Jesus may be a prophet as well.
-
But of all these things, Jesus is definitely not the son of God.
-
And Jesus is definitely not God who he said. So it's not the
-
first time this issue has come up many many times. And so the second
-
Peter, and you must understand that this is a direct thread not only to
-
you know, the Christian Committee, but to Peter as well, because Peter
-
was one of the original and the leader of the Disciples of Jesus, and
-
so Peter could not let it stand anymore. Peter, the main, like
-
the main good guy you know you watch a movie, had to finally,
-
it is my turn to step up right now, you know, he's finally
-
stepping up to the stage to address this once and for all. Not Paul,
-
not Matthew, not Luke. Peter has to step up to verify this
-
once and for the paying guy, the main leader, has to step up.
-
Let me tell you who Jesus really really was. So that's the first
-
line. They don't believe Jesus was the son of God, so they will
-
say that Jesus is like Zeus, Jesus is like now some other god in
-
Roman history. So they tried to play it down, and then they started
-
to try to discredit Peter. So that's the first line. The second line
-
they believe is that, hey, they took the teachings of Paul. You're
-
saying, I'm saying. So at that time, the Christians had the benefit
-
of letters from the different parcels Peter was writing to them. Who else was
-
writing? Paul was writing, Luke was writing, Matthew was writing as well,
-
and must saying it's like our saying badge. Now it's like here in
-
Cheraza, su Bang is writing to you, Clang is writing to you,
-
Melbourne is writing to you. But all one thing is they may be very
-
far away, but they're all at the same time. You get me in,
-
right. And so they were taking all these letters and then trying to
-
compare who is right, who is better, who is smarter, who is
-
or a more holier. So some of the people they started to say,
-
hey, I only followed ex Melbourne, Oh, I only follow x London,
-
London more sophisticated, in nearer to the queen, no longer queen radio
-
okay, now no longer the king okay, King child right. So at
-
that time people were comparing, Hey, I don't follow Peter, I follow
-
Paul, I don't follow I followed Apollos, I followed Luke Yemen right.
-
So people were you not like trying to carve an identity out by attaching to
-
certain teachers and leaders, you know, okay, and then they start to
-
read Paul's letter or Paul's letter a very convincing, you know, very attractive.
-
You know why is so attractive because Paul said that you have been set
-
free in Chris You're are no longer a slave. Woh you know what they
-
did. They took it and say, hey, we are free. We
-
have bought this ticket in life means that whatever that we do has been paid
-
by Jesus. Ah, we can do whatever you want. Ready, you're
-
you're right. It's like, whoa, you paid one ticket? Your think
-
you can travel around the world without consequences. You get me in right.
-
And it's like, oh, all my scenes have been paid by Jesus.
-
I know right now I can go and rob a bank. I can still
-
to fund already, you know, without consequences. You know, you get
-
me right. So people they took that as the teaching of Paul. So
-
is you're thinking about it? Is this? Is this what Jesus saved you
-
for? You get me in right, Jesus sacre. So they were abusing
-
the freedom that Christ brought for them, and they were saying that the teachings
-
of Paul and Peter were contradicting. You get me in right. You could
-
Peter, you're officialman, you know you never went to university. Paul actually
-
studied in the best university. You know. Of course I trust paula you
-
know. So a lot of people having pride and not having all these things,
-
and so what they did then they so what Peter stood up again and
-
said, if you read it carefully, the teachings of Paul and myself and
-
all those that were inspired of the hope by the Holy Spirit, are you
-
united? Are the same. And he gave me right. They are united.
-
He actually verifies, Actually, Peter, if you read lated in second
-
peterin chapter two, he would even say Paul's writing is inspired by the Holy
-
script is scripture. When he says that it's scripture, means that it is
-
the direct word from Cordner. So Peter verifies Paul's writings, and he says
-
that it's not contrat it's not contradictory to mind or to God's But we are
-
united. It's the interpretation of the word that's perverted. You gave me right.
-
It's the interpretation that is perverted. So that's a second. Second problem,
-
Okay, the first one they don't believe that Jesus is the son of
-
God. The second one they say, Jesus has paid all our things.
-
We can live our life whatever, do whatever we want. And the third
-
one, what was it? The third one they say that Jesus is not
-
coming back. There is no final judgment before Jesus died. While he keep
-
telling Peter, I'm coming back again. I'm going to die and I'm coming
-
back again. So the whole entire church where they We're going through suffering,
-
isn't it. The Emperor Nero is going to hunt for us, He's going
-
to kill you, Peter. But yet you say that Jesus is coming back.
-
Where is Jesus? Where is Jesus? So people waited for so long
-
with without with this hope, you know, and yet they feel like,
-
hey, maybe Peter and they all are trying to cheat us, you know,
-
maybe Jesus is not why he really said, maybe Jesus really returned ready,
-
but you know, we missed it. Actually there actually there were good
-
people who really felt that they felt that Jesus has returned and they missed it.
-
And Paul had to write a letter to them. I think it's in
-
the second Tessalonians. He talks about the rupture. Okay, then Paul tell
-
them about no, you have not missed it yet, don't worry, don't
-
go and crying, oh we missed it. You know, they feel that
-
they thought they missed it, but no, they have not God's timing coming
-
back is his own timing. God counts days as thousands of years as well.
-
God's timing has a purpose. Our word. We are just part of
-
that. You know, that pebbla in that big river of God, you
-
know, Amy Ryan, just this small thing. God runs on his own
-
river, Yami Ran. He flows in his own time. So we do
-
not get discouraged by all these small little pebbles in our life, very insignificant.
-
One Hope and the Lord. Okay, So okay, so far everybody.
-
So this is the context I'm sharing with you guys about what Second Peter
-
is. Now, I'm gonna jump here very quickly to verse five, because
-
this is the part that I kind of missed out with you guys here.
-
Okay, So it says here Second Peter, Chapter one, Verse five,
-
It says here, but for also this reason, giving all diligence add to
-
your faith, virtue, virtue, knowledge, knowledge, self control, to
-
self control, perseverance, to perseverance, godness, to godliness, brotherly kindness,
-
and to brotherly kindness love. Okay. So Peter is telling all the
-
believers here, hey, once you believe in Cris right, Okay, it
-
is not the end but the beginning. It's like you think, when you
-
believe in Christ, you think you graduated. You will receive a certificate.
-
Yeah I graduated. No, you receive an entrance. Okay, the beginning
-
your Christian life has just begun. That is why he says that giving all
-
diligious once you are safe, you need to give all diligence. Diligence means
-
what effort means that you need to start running. It begins. You need
-
to give all your effort. He's talking about an athlete, an olympian now
-
begins the marathon. You need to start giving all your effort to add to
-
your salvation. It doesn't end there. You need to start. If you're
-
been safe, you're coming to church, you need to start looking at yourself.
-
Have you been adding? You know it's still just coming to church and
-
be a vegetate vegetable you know, hey, part the plant here. You
-
know we need to say we have a lot of part of plants in church
-
because people just stated, but they don't grow one, you know, but
-
we gotta open up the sky and let the rain of God coming and the
-
sun and make you grow and your big fruit. Fool and all not part
-
the plants on it. You know we're meant to be growing to be trees.
-
You know. Okay, God, God, God, No, say
-
you need to add to your life? What you say? You have faith
-
in God? Good? You believe in God is good. But what is
-
the first thing you need to have. You need to have virtue. Okay,
-
being a believer is good, but it's barely the beginning. You need
-
to be virtuous. Virtuous means what virtue means? Moral excellence. Okay,
-
turn to your neighbor. Turn turn to your neighble neighbor and ask them,
-
do you have moral excellence? You know what it's moral excellence or not?
-
Moral excellenca means when you look at that guy, that guy knows right from
-
wrong very clearly, and not just know right from wrong. He their life
-
is all about making the right choice. I don't care about making I don't
-
care about money, I don't care about whatever. It is. My most
-
important, most valuable thing in my life is making the right choice. When
-
I raise my kids up, the most important thing I want my kids to
-
know is making the right choice, and sometimes making the right choice. It's
-
difficult, it's hard, it will cost me something, but it's about moral
-
excellence. You got me in right. So, as a believer, when
-
you're saying, what do you care about always making the right choice true or
-
not making what is the right choice, the choice that God proves makes sense
-
or not? Things that God approved? What does the Bible say, sicky,
-
first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Why is he telling you
-
seek first not all the things of the world, the food, the clothing,
-
the money, but seek first the things that God prooves. God's righteousness
-
is the things that God approves. God looks like it, and he puts
-
a standard for Dad is good. Yeah, men, that is good.
-
That's for me, not what the world says good. Dad is good.
-
God says is good. I will do it. Okay, that's what we
-
call moral excellence. Then to moral excellence, what do you add knowledge?
-
Oh? What? How? Knowledge? Is it? More IQ? More
-
mathematics? This is not the type of knowledge that we're talking about, not
-
just general knowledge. Okay, how many of you? How many of you
-
like to do MATSA? You know, I'm not sure if you're saying to
-
think you know what I'm saying here. Have you gone to exams that and
-
you or maybe exams are Okay? Schooler. You don't understand the subject or
-
this part of the lesson, but you just do cost the theory and the
-
formula tells you to do it this way and it gets you to score marks.
-
You don't understand it, but you just do it. But any somehow
-
you pass the exam. It's that you came out of the exam. I
-
still didn't learn anything. You know what I'm talking about. You did it
-
because you know it's the right thing to do. You know, you're a
-
virtuous persona. You keep doing things they are right, even though you don't
-
understand how it works. You keep doing and doing it and doing it.
-
But then one day, one day you start to like, hey, I
-
start to understand why this formula works. I start to oh, instead of
-
just doing the right thing, now you start to realize this is how it
-
actually works. All the gears in your life start to click and you're like,
-
ah, so last time you used to know. Because as the back
-
of a knowledge. Right now, this knowledge becomes what deep knowledge. Deep
-
knowledge is knowledge from the head that you are able to apply into your life.
-
Ah, you get me right. There's knowledge in the head you know,
-
but you can't apply because you don't understand it works, but there's knowledge
-
there can be applied, deep quality, deep knowledge. In what I'm saying,
-
a lot of students study are they have knowledge, but they don't have
-
deep knowledge. They cannot apply what they're learning university outside. They cannot twist
-
it, they cannot apply because there's no true knowledge, true understanding. That's
-
what the Greeks called the deep knowledge. Some of us will still start there.
-
I think that my algebras are. They don't know how it actually makes
-
sense, you know, But then when you say, hey, going to
-
engineering, you're going into construction. Oh, this is what calculus means.
-
Oh, I do not understand it right now. There is the knowledge that
-
comes from us, knowledge not because you know the Bible. Suddenly, when
-
you go out and leave your life, you said, there is why God
-
told me to avoid this. There are things that your parents teach you.
-
You don't get it. But when you become older, you become a parent
-
yourself. You start to have responsibility. You're like, that's why why my
-
dad tell me that, That's why my mom tells me. There is deep
-
knowledge. You're like, wow, makes sense or not. That's what we
-
called deep knowledge. So what deep knowledge doesn't come and unless you keep doing
-
the right thing. So a lot of times and now while we just say
-
I need to know why first before I do it, yea, they want
-
the knowledge first, But God says no, you just keep doing what's right.
-
Then why will come later because why doesn't depend on you. Why depends
-
on the timing of God. Ah. Imagine if you're trying to raise children
-
now, okay, you're only learn it until you understand why. It may
-
say, wait until their thirty five years old, they learn why I'm teaching?
-
Is it? You know? You teach them about life when they're right
-
now. Even they don't get it, you teach them right now, so
-
they eventually they will do it, and they grow all that and they finally
-
understand Ah, that's why my dad tell me again, right, so believe
-
us. It's the same thing. You may not understand it why, but
-
you've got to keep doing what is morally right before God, and God will
-
show you the way makes sense. That's what Peter was trying to tell them
-
to do. Then eventually, once you have knowledge, you add self control.
-
Why is self control self control? When once you see things right,
-
you have knowledge right, you are able to say wow, I know I
-
don't know what is truly right and wrong. You start to be able to
-
say no, no, yes, and no. You start to deny yourself.
-
You start to pursue something that it's greater than yourself. You get me
-
right, you dieet isn't it? You fast? Or you try to sleep
-
earlier. You try to improve yourself. You try to not in indulging bad
-
things. You know why? They is called self control? Why you want
-
to have self control yourself? The reason why we and any of us have
-
reason have self controls. Why because we need to have self groun to succeed
-
and to survive. Okay, people change for two main reasons, to succeed
-
and to survive. I always say in maytimes, you will only change you
-
see U, I may not. I will still keep eating ice cream and
-
my favorite cross on and cookies until one day I have a heart attack and
-
I will stop eating. You know why not because I hate cookies and ice
-
cream. It No, I still look cookies and right ice cream, But
-
I look at them, I realize I need to stop eating it because I
-
need to survive. Survival trumps all these longings. Survival to need to succeed
-
trumps all these things you get me in, right, or I used to
-
drive, I'm mad, you know, I don't care about people. But
-
once I got into a very cart accident and I almost lost my life,
-
and I almost caused a life of my family members, I start to change
-
my driving. Not because someone tell me to change. I change because I
-
finally see it. I need to change to succeed and to survive. People
-
don't change because the vision is not clear, and sometimes you have to get
-
so close to the danger to see. Oh I need to change. Yeah,
-
right, that's the reason why I'm okay. So you have self control,
-
then, to self control, to perseverance. See, you cannot have
-
perseverance unless you know what it's right to do, unless you have finally understanding,
-
unless you have self control. You see that white people that hey do
-
a bit earlier, do too difficult. I don't want to don't don't want
-
to keep doing it. Oh, study so hard. I don't want to
-
keep studying. Oh this diet thing is so hard, and I've been there
-
before. Okay, I don't want to. There's what lacking one lacking perseverance,
-
lacking endurance, doing the same thing over and over again, it's so
-
difficult. Now this we hear that, now this right, well, this
-
job is so difficult. I want to change, ab lady or hear a
-
lot of people. I don't mean it will be personal, but it's true.
-
Christians at that time, all Christian face is so difficult. I don't
-
want to believe anymore. Lacking perseverance, isn't it. But once you start
-
to have self control, once you know that, hey for me to really
-
finally succeed and to have survived, but I need to self control when you
-
have this very clear goal, right you endure endure and duron is not about
-
seeing the end goal. Enduring is about today is a battle to fight today,
-
today, today, today, the next day, the next day,
-
the next hour, one at a time, and you start to begin not
-
trusting the world. You trust the process. Turned your neighbor, say trust
-
the process? Okay, turned your other neighbor, Do you trust the process?
-
Do you trust the process? Actually? I know that. You know
-
when I watch basketball teams are there's a team on that literally the attackline actually
-
literally called trust the process. And now did you know that they had to
-
start from zero because they got no good players? They're drafted a very powerful
-
player, but they're still very low ranking you all. So their motto it's
-
called trust the process. And over the years are they climbed from zero to
-
become something, It's called trusting the process. Even athletes know that, and
-
a professional athletes they know they got to train hard. This weird even this
-
year they didn't win it, they still got to train even doubly hard because
-
they trust the process. Okay. So the key to endurance is to trusting
-
the process. Okay. And then when you start to trust the process,
-
you're doing what is right. Your perseverance will lead you to godliness. What
-
is godliness? Does it means suddenly you have a led light on top of
-
your head here in hey, I start to float around like an angel.
-
No. Godliness means what, let me summarize it for you. Godliness means
-
you start to have a very clear fear of God in your life, a
-
very the fear of God is very evident in your life. When you walk,
-
when you go around in family, work, when you make choices in
-
life, someone asks you to invest into something, Somebody say hey you can
-
mischurch, or hey you've got an an at temptation. You start to work
-
in life with a different few. You want. Now it's not just people
-
around you. You start to look up. You know that God is around.
-
Your mind may tell you this is a good thing. Your heart may
-
want it, but because you've endured so much, you've trusted the process.
-
You know the moral excellence. You start to realize, above all these things,
-
God, is this what you want? I might like it, but
-
it's this what you want? And you let that question linger for a long
-
time, you know, because you know why I said God. You start
-
to say this, God, I don't want to move unless you are there,
-
no matter how good it is. I'm not want to move unless you
-
are there. And you can only say that when you've been too many many
-
endurans. You know, may many many difficult times because you realize that there's
-
no one as faithful as God. It may be the easiest thing in life,
-
but if God is not there, I don't want to be there.
-
But it may be the hardest thing. But if God is there, I
-
want to be there. I want, I need God. No one will
-
deliver me. He can't be in right. So godliness means what the fear
-
of God in your life? Your fear that makes you run away. No,
-
it doesn't mean it's not the fear that makes you that. I don't
-
know the fear of God that when you walk around in life, you really
-
God is with me and he restrains me. He withholds me, He preserves
-
me. You know, he leads me to steal waters, get me in
-
right the type. That's why when you read the Bible the Lord's prayer,
-
although the translation is not exactly accurate, okay, but he says that lead
-
us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one true or not?
-
Why God what it means that he's a god. It's not leading you
-
into temptation. But he's trying to tell God, I know I will walk
-
into temptation, but let your presence come upon me, that I might have
-
the fear of God, that you will restrain me away from temptation. You
-
can't be in right restraining away from temple for our children as well, for
-
our family as well, restrain them from from temptation. Okay. And lastly,
-
godess sorry, from godliness to broadly kindness. When you fear God,
-
that's when you start to forgive people. You forgive people, not because actually
-
in the upcoming homestones are I wrote it. You know I wrote there.
-
You know it's a preview. You know. The power, the true power
-
of forgiveness comes not from your ability to to forgive. You. The true
-
power forgiveness comes from a heart made whole. Okay, if your heart is
-
not whole or healthy, you will find it very hard to forgive. I
-
should be offended many times, not just by this, by this person,
-
but by many times, by many times before. If you'll never experience the
-
forgiveness of God, if your life is not made hold understanding what love is,
-
how much forgiven you are, it's very hard for you to forgive.
-
True forgiveness comes from a heart made whole, from the forgiveness of God.
-
A heart is made whole by the forgiveness of God. You get me right.
-
Only a heart that is made whole can you learn to truly forgive.
-
It's true one if you know why not, because there is no reason for
-
you to forgive. If somebody has hurt you, all you can care about
-
is I need them to pay, true or not. There's all you care
-
about. I need them to pay that guy, that girl, that person
-
that cut my car. Just now that person because he cut my car he
-
got me into an accident. He needs to pay. There is no one
-
above you, we know, But how can you forgive someone who will costs
-
you so much pain and hurt? It's when when you realize that you've been
-
forgiven much you get me right. You only forgive when you not realize that
-
you have been forgiven much. That's why it must come from a heart that
-
is made who so a lot of time times when we talk about, yeah,
-
you need to forgive someone, right, Sometimes I will even stay bad
-
bit and I will look into their lives and say, hey, you you
-
are offended. But is there anything else that you are more afraid of?
-
The truly godly person will tell me, I'm more afraid of God? What
-
God will think about me? Yeah? Me? Right. When you start
-
to have death fear, you start to let go. You start to let
-
go and forgive one another. No husbands and wives are sometimes we fight.
-
Are you feel like, oh, the person closest to us are offended you
-
the most? You know? How can he or she do that to me?
-
The only way you can reconcile. That's why we say that in a
-
marriage, God must be in the middle. You know why not? Because
-
sometimes that you cannot reconciund. But a husband and a wife who will say
-
sorry to each other not because they feel like it, because they fear God.
-
And God tells the husband to say sorry, you better say sorry.
-
And sometimes when I tell my wife and my wife can testify, I hope
-
so that okay, and she would say sorry to me as well. Okay,
-
we're learning. Okay, I don't like it. I feel it's not
-
there yet. You know, it's not biked, you know, I mean
-
this sorry is not good enough, you know, I you have to forgive
-
God. God said so. If not, they will not that peace that
-
comes into your life there is God's grace and musty to preserve your family.
-
You know you can mean, right, Okay, how much time do you
-
have that? Oh? Okay, I won't even got into my main message
-
yet. Okay, okay, anyway, no, I don't really. I
-
wanted to focus on that because I thought that's the more important part. Where
-
about ministry? Okay, everybody, you see you start to be when you
-
start to be able to have god leanness, brotherly kindness, but they kind
-
of doesn't mean you're nice to someone. Brotherly kindness and means that God is
-
requiring you to forgive people, because that's the hardest part. And lastly,
-
you were experienced love okay and brought to from bad brotherly kindness to love.
-
When you start to forgive people okay, you start to experience another level of
-
love with God. Get me right. When you start to forgive people,
-
you fear God. It's one thing, but now you are you got into
-
another level. God looks at you, approves you. I'm well pleased with
-
you. Well done, my good and faithful servant. You get me right.
-
You start you experience this profounder. It's when you become a believer.
-
You experienced love from God. Yes, true, but there is another level
-
of experience of the love of God, into another level that Jesus wants you
-
and I to experience. You get me in right, allert that please That
-
that comes from a father that is pleased with you and I get me right.
-
I love my children, but sometimes they do things that that doesn't please
-
me. I can learn my children and still not please with them. You
-
gave me right. They may stain decide to pour in all over my car.
-
I still love them, but am I pleased with them? Of course
-
not. But if my children I love them. When they go out and
-
they do the right thing. They succeed in life, they succeed as a
-
human being and as a believer in crime. I'm well pleased with them.
-
I will say, that's my son, that's my daughter, that's them.
-
I'm so proud of them. You're so proud to tell everybody that's my daughter,
-
that's my son. You gave me right. That's a type of pleasing
-
and they will know, Wow, I have an approval of my heavenly father.
-
That's the type of and they work with another level of confidence. They
-
can be and my son and daughter like, yeah, I met to Chang's
-
son daughter, But there's another Yes, I am Chang's daughter. Another level.
-
You get me right, there's another level, do it? Okay,
-
So God wants us for that, Okay, all right, everybody, Okay,
-
there's a lot of teaching here. Okay, but now let me draw
-
to straight away too. I'm not going to covert verse twelve to verse within
-
because that's about Peter talking about his death. I think I will move on
-
to the next part very quickly in verse sixteens. Okay, now the title
-
here, he says, here the trustworthy prophetic word Okay, I'm gonna read
-
here from verse sixteen to verse twenty one, and I'll slowly drove to a
-
close. He says, here, for we did not follow cunningly, cunningly
-
devised fables. Okay. Peter says that we did not make this up,
-
me and the apostles and the disciples. We did not make the resurrection of
-
Jesus up. We did not make all this miracle up as if like there
-
was some big plots that people were trying to make it up as well.
-
Okay, when we made known to you the power and the coming of our
-
Lord Jesus Christ. But he says here, Peter says, but we were
-
eye witnesses of his majesty underlying that eyewitnesses. Okay, for he received from
-
God. Okay, for Jesus received from God the Father, from the Father,
-
the honor and glory were such a voice came to him from the excellent
-
glory, and what the fathers say, This is my beloved son, in
-
whom I'm well pleased. And we heard this voice which came from heaven when
-
we were with him on the holy mountain. Okay, So so I told
-
you the first thing, right, There were three false teaching his name,
-
the first false teaching. They were saying, or they trying to counter to
-
the disciples, to say that we don't believe what Jesus is who he said
-
he is. Okay, we think that this is all made up. We
-
don't believe that Jesus is the son of God. So Peter came forward and
-
give two reputtals most important rebuttal okay, to the kingship, the deity the
-
divine nature of Jesus. We have two main argument. The first argument is
-
the eyewitness argument. Okay, eyewitness, we say it because we witnessed it.
-
That's the first one. Okay, we witnessed it, okay. And
-
it's not just that Jesus is not that just Peter was one of the disciples.
-
There was a very particular event that happened in the New Testament, in
-
the Gospel that Peter was referring to as eyewitness. Okay, you cannot just
-
be a disciple. You have to be an eyewitness to the declaration of Jesus
-
as a son of God. Okay. And then that and what declaration is
-
it from the teachers, from the priest? No, the only person who
-
can declare that Jesus is the son of God, is God himself? You
-
must add him. It's like you know, you graduated, right, you
-
have the deans, you have this, you know, all the parents are
-
everybody eyewitness man. But this one night they did not enough one. Wait
-
wait below you need the ultimate authority inaugurating Jesus. And you were there at
-
the inauguration. Yeah, we saw it. Jesus was crowned and Peter said,
-
I was there. Wow. So what event is they're talking about in
-
this particular case? What was the eyewitnessed too? So you will have to
-
turn to me very quickly to Matthew, chapter seventeen, and what do you
-
see there in the first title? Everybody or case of far can follow me
-
another fifty minutes. Very very important teaching here, okay, very very important.
-
Next time people ask you how do you know believe? How do you
-
know that Jesus is the son of God? There are two main arguments.
-
It's one here and then another one later. Okay, so that you don't
-
simply believe what people are trying to tell you. Okay, First thing,
-
Jesus transfigured on the mount. What is transfiguration? Means Jesus is being transformed.
-
It's not Jesus being transformed or Jesus cannot change. But the more accurate
-
work means Jesus unveiled, you know, Jesus revealed to us. Okay,
-
now he says here, I don't to go through all of it. Okay,
-
wow? Do is this turn with me to another chapter behind Matthew sixteen?
-
SORRYA, I know I take you guys before there. Okay. Now
-
to explain the transfiguration happening here, I need to give you a bit of
-
context as well. When you look at Matthew chapter sixteen right now, you
-
see a few titles in the whole chapter there? Do you see a title
-
there? It says that Peter confesses Jesus as the Christ. Do you see
-
that? Now? What happened there? So Jesus was asking the disciples,
-
who do these people say I am? Jesus is dealing with identity. Now
-
he's worked with disciples, he's dealing with people. People say, Jesus can
-
fifty five thousand, Jesus can walk on water. Now this is what I
-
do. But who do you think I am? Some people say that you
-
are Elijah? Okay, some say people you are? You know what he
-
is? There? Some say Elijah, some say John the Baptist, some
-
say Jeremiah, Oh, one of the prophets. But Peter, who do
-
you say? I am? And Peter whoa like the a student in a
-
smartest student. He's very competitive one in all my people must be sitting in
-
front of the class in the first one to race again, me, me,
-
ask me, me, and me, I know who you are.
-
You are the son of Son of God, the other living. You are
-
Christ. And then Jesus said, well done, son bar Jona for flesh
-
and bird has not revealed this to you, but my father who is in
-
heaven. Okay, Aw, Peter got a blue blue star, I know
-
whatever it is like. Okay, Do you think that's the end of the
-
story. No, you see, immediately after that paragraph, what happens was
-
the next title, Jesus predicts his death and resurrection. Why would Jesus do
-
that? Your disciple, your most excellent student, tells you, proclaims you
-
to be the Messiah, the Son of God, glorious one and all.
-
And after immediately your student tells you that, you decide to tell them,
-
Hey, by the way, I'm gonna let you know. I'm gonna be
-
captured tortured and I'm gonna die on the cross. How many of you will
-
go and work in a company, a good company er and then you have
-
an interview with the boss and then the boss said, welcome and welcome to
-
our team. Now sign on this doctor line and become powerful employer. Hey,
-
you can never share with it. Okay. By the way, tomorrow
-
a few text auditors are going to come with a few policemen and they're gonna
-
come and capture me and send me to the courtroom tomorrow. How would you
-
feel when you just join the company? You should like just got cheeta,
-
isn't it? What is going on? And know it's not nice to be
-
captured and then be trialed one And now you just say that you're the best
-
company, best Ceoh, you just say you're the son of God. You
-
agree with me, But now you're telling me you're gonna die. And then
-
what do we know that this is a very negative reaction? You know why?
-
Because what did Peter do in verse twenty two? Peter took Jesus aside
-
and began rebuild King Jesus. Oh, the t the student rebuild the teacher
-
you know this time is the student of rebuilding, the son of God and
-
all. Peter was so taken aback, so distraught over this newsa because he
-
thought that Jesus was king of coming as a king and destroy all these romans
-
and then restore the kingdom to this glory. God is gonna come and rain
-
down fire greater than God rain down fire during the time of Abraham. You
-
know, He's gonna do miracles ten times greater than the old testimonion. All
-
this what's what Peter was expecting. But yeah, instead, this guy whom
-
you followed is gonna get captured and crucified on the cross. What about me?
-
Then? If people come to my company and take my boss away and
-
start all diting everyone, what makes you think that you're going to be spared?
-
They will start looking into your work and said, hey, did you
-
will you complicit? Did you help your boss into making fraud? Did you
-
know that I used to interview for one MDB last time as a work I
-
went to it. Yeah, I feelt something fishy and I was like,
-
this company had never hurt before, even though it's from company. Then goodness
-
of God for a problem, God, who who never joined a company,
-
gave me an offering letter but I didn't join. But by the grace of
-
God. Okay, but you will. You will be shocked, isn't it?
-
So? Peter was so taken aback. He took Jesus away and said
-
that far be from you. You cannot this happen. This cannot happen to
-
you. And then in verse any tree, what did Jesus said to Peter
-
get behind me, satan? Or one moment you congratulate you a good student,
-
then another and just immediately a few minutes later, get behind me satan
-
or calling Peter, calling saying that Peter has the influence of Satan. You
-
are an offense to me. And then immediately after that you see another title.
-
Why did Jesus trying to tell Peter if you want to follow me,
-
you need to take up your cross. So weird enough, But all these
-
things are connected. People are all connected. Starts with starts with Peter saying
-
that Jesus, you're the son of God. But then it went down hill
-
after dead like the stomatic stopmarket crashing, crash and lower and lower and lower
-
and lower. You see what happened here? Peter says the right thing.
-
He has the head knowledge. He said that I think that this is a
-
son of God, but he does not understand the implication of the son of
-
God. He says the writing, but he does not understand the implication.
-
He does not know his scripture. He's like, whoa, you know that
-
the Son of God will go through suffering and tribulation and death. He does
-
not. So he knows, but he doesn't understand. You get in right,
-
But Jesus was so faithful. What did he do? In the next
-
chapter we go into the transfiguration. It's all connected one that is who went
-
It says there now after sixth Day, Jesus took Peter James and John tree
-
Fellers okay, and led them to a high mountain, and then he was
-
transfigure. Jesus is telling Peter, you say that I am the Son of
-
God, but yeah, you don't understand who I am. Now I'm going
-
to take you to the mountain and I'm going to show you my father.
-
Now you will not just say who I am. You will see who I
-
am right now. You get me in, right, Jesus is unveiling to
-
Peter. Right now, you don't just say I am the Son of God.
-
Okay, this is what it says there the face of Jesus shone like
-
the sun, and his clothes became as white as the lie. And behold,
-
Moses and Elijah appeared to them. Suddenly there were two guys appearing,
-
Moses in Elijah, Jesus, Moses in Elijah appeared before them. And then
-
Peter started becoming a bit tipsy and influence. I don't know why you know
-
you always say this problem, okay, And Gpeter said to Jesus, Lord,
-
it is good for us to be here. If you wish, let
-
us make three taberneckers for you, one for Moses, one for Elijah,
-
and one for you. What is Peter babbling about? Out of nowhere?
-
You decided you see Jesus face shining glory. You saw see most is that
-
descibed build tens? Why? Why did he decided to build ten? Why
-
did he say that this play is so good? I never wanted to leave
-
this place? Is he high? Is he drunk? No? The reason
-
why he was building tabernacle because at that time the Jewish people were celebrating the
-
festival of the Tabernacle. Did you know that the Israelites have seven major festivals.
-
We celebrate Chennese new Yea. They have seven major festivals. Okay,
-
I don't have the slights here. Okay, but very quickly you don't like
-
to go to it, but on your own, I highly encourage your gold
-
and check it out. Even a non Christians, the Jews are a majority
-
of the Jews are not believers. They still celebrate these festivals. And these
-
festivals they didn't start to eat. Why they all these festivals were given by
-
God and it was recorded in the Old Testament. So cool, right,
-
You can't actually track your festival, the festival you celebrate from the Bible,
-
you know, Chinese? Yea, how do we how do we track it
-
too? Cannot? I canno? I know soud? Then they all know
-
where we decided to invent this god of prosperities tison year, you know,
-
because I don't know where it come out, because we won more empower on
-
the okay. But but the Jewish people, they have seven holidays, seven
-
major festivals given by God. God commanded them to celebrate it, okay,
-
called commander to them to celebrate it, and one of them was to passover
-
the unleavened bread, the first fruit, the Pentecost. Okay. Now,
-
the festivals were divided into two main seasons, the seasons of spring and the
-
season of four autumn. There were four festivals to be celebrated in the springtime,
-
which included the Passover, the unleavened bread, the first fruits, and
-
the last one the day of Pentecost, and then the next three during the
-
autumn time, and then you have the festival trumpets, the Atonement, and
-
the Tabernacle. Now, I wish I could a day to share with you
-
guys that, but just to give you a previewer, every year they celebrated
-
seven one passover actually represents her the crucifixion of Jesus. Jesus. They didn't
-
they didn't understand it. But while the nations were celebrating, God implemented his
-
celebration of the festivals in his own timing as well. But his timing coincided
-
with the with the earthly, but people were not aware. While people were
-
celebrating earthly passover, you know, eating the bread and the lama, God
-
celebrated He's passover with the lamb of God. The Lamb of God was not
-
any lamb, or was his own son. Jesus died on the day of
-
the Passover. Jesus was buried on the day of the uneleven Bread, okay,
-
which is the third day. On the first day, it was the
-
day of first fruits. All coinciding is exactly on that day of the festival.
-
Quite amazing, isn't it. Jesus's death, burial and resurrection coinside is
-
exactly on your fact on the festivals. You know. Well, it's like
-
you can coincide your your birthday are on the Chinese New Year? Are so
-
good, radio, I tell you. But Jesus's death not just your birthday.
-
He's death not coinciding on that same time You're not death, burial and
-
resurrections. And then fifty days after that we call it a fifty year.
-
In Greek, five means what panta right pentagon right penta. That is where
-
we get the word Pantecost from Pantecost means pent five, fifty fifty days later,
-
after the first fruit, fifty days later. It happened in the Old
-
Testament, Okay, when Moses came and when when? When? When the
-
people in Mount Sinai after fifty days later? What happened? Moses came down
-
from the mountain with the two tablets, and he saw what the people do.
-
They were worshiping the golden calf, isn't it? And Moses threw down
-
the tabernacle and then people started dying because they started started dying. Is it
-
because the disease came and broke out? Was it a disease? Was it
-
was snake? Can remembered it was sna Remember people started dying very quickly now
-
and Moses took out staff with a snake on it, and people had to
-
stare at it to get safe. On the day of their original Pentecost,
-
three thousand people dying. When Jesus was raised from the dead fifty days later,
-
what did he tell the discipposed to do? To stay in the upper
-
room, don't go anywhere. And when they they are Pentecosts happened, the
-
tongue of fire came upon them, Holy Spirit came upon them. And how
-
many people got safe? Three thousand people got safe? Is that thing happening?
-
And the Old Testament happening in the time of Jesus fulfilled? Amazing?
-
You know saw out of seven fulfilled four festivals, how many more left?
-
Tree left? And we will see in our coming time the tree festivals to
-
come, and the tree festivals with the festival on trumpets. When Jesus comes
-
still be allowed trumpet. We will hear in the skies more desclaring, and
-
then we will hear a day of atrment where people start to mourn and start
-
to repent of their sins and start to turn their hearts to Jesus. And
-
the last one the day of Taiberneca, which was talking about the one.
-
The day of Taieberneca represents the people. During the seven days our people,
-
the Jewish people will actually build their tentino. Okay. It's like you know,
-
during MCO time and sometimes we build can be you know, I was
-
like and the make finds nay becaus cannot go out right. So the Israelites
-
even until today, if you go to Israel, during the feast of Tabernecker,
-
they were literally built on their roof or outside the house a tentino and
-
they will stay in the tenor inside the house for seven days, okay.
-
And the reason why they do that is to remember God taking them, delivering
-
them. They're delivering them from Egypt and into the wilderness where they stayed inside
-
the tent for seven days makes sense or not? For seven days we're living
-
there, so Peter was there. Hey, it's a day feast of tabernacle.
-
Of all places I could build my ten in my house or near the
-
river, this is the best place, best camping site. So Peter said,
-
hey, let's build a temp for all of them. But he didn't
-
know why he was saying, And so who had to come and intervene?
-
The Father had to come and intervene because Peter no, he thought that Moses
-
and Jesus was the same level with Moses and Elijah. Moses represented the law.
-
Moses gave the law to the people's name. Elijah represented the prophets.
-
So God gave the nation of Israel two main gifts before Jesus, the Law
-
and the prophets. That's why you have the book the Old Testament, bo
-
might. The Old Testament is basically built there, the Law and the prophets.
-
That's why we have the Old Testament. God gave it to them so
-
that they could leave according to that. But something greater was coming after Moses
-
and Elijah. The New Testament. The New Testament is all about Jesus,
-
and Jesus was greater than Moses and Elijah. You get me right. The
-
only New Testament is about Jesus. But Jesus great, not contradicting Old Testament.
-
But Jesus was greater than the Old Testament because he fulfilled every single law,
-
and he fulfilled every prophecy from them. You get me right. He
-
fulfilled every law and prophecy. He was greater than that. So we trust
-
not in the law or in the prophets. When we trust Jesus, we
-
fulfill everything. Ah, get me right. It's like, suddenly I give
-
you an example that you go and study for a three year program. Okay,
-
the first two years that you're supposed to compete if you cannot pass.
-
But suddenly your your campers are decided to tell you you study this one.
-
Okay, you do maybe half the practical and you follow this guy. If
-
you do it, you already fulfilled that too. And I'll give you even
-
a greater mon. Jesus is giving us a more excellent covernant. You know,
-
we call it. It doesn't write the old program. It's just that
-
it's better. It fulfills the old program, and it's better. Give me
-
right, So you and I were given a privilege. It's a privilege not
-
just for us, but even the people from the old testament. They needed
-
to trust in Jesus as well. Give me right. That was the time
-
that one teaching our time, how they do that? Okay, so Peter.
-
So God the Father had to come in and reveal to Peter saying,
-
this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. And so when
-
Peter was when you go back to second Peter, when Peter was writing this
-
letter, I said, I was there and I was an eyewitness to all
-
these events. When Jesus was declared the son of God by no other but
-
the Father himself. I was an eye witness. And you can verify it
-
with John and James as well, James the brother of Jesus, and they
-
were there at the same time as well. So the eyewitness was the first
-
rebuttal that Peter gave. But the most important Ribarton that Peter gave was not
-
just the eyewitness, but what did he say second second Peter, he says
-
here verse N, I think and says that, And so we have the
-
prophetic world confirm. Underlying that prophetic world confirm, which you do well to
-
hit a slight that shines in the darkness until the dawn, until the day
-
dawns, and the morning star rises in your heart. Knowing these first that
-
no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation. For prophecy never came by
-
the will of men, by the holy men of God, who spoke as
-
they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Now another context I need to give
-
to you. Now. The people had the scripture, but they were saying
-
that Jesus is not the son of God. And the reason why they didn't
-
say say that Jesus is not the son of God is because a lot of
-
these leaders were privately interpreting the Bible in their own ways. They were having
-
small groups, not the good small group, okay, bad small groups.
-
They were saying that, Hey, I've heard from Paul before. Hey I've
-
come away, I come from Greece, I come from China, I come
-
from here. Don't listen to Peter. Let me tell you how to properly
-
interpret the scripture. Sounds very familiar nowadays. Were also are people doing that
-
nowadays name But Peter Saia interpretation er is not private one and all. It
-
is public because interpretion interpretation needs to be tested. One how you're interpreting one
-
now, because if you can give you the scripture, but if you anyhow
-
interpret it, you can make it say whatever you want, one true or
-
not. If you really want it, you can make the Bible say whatever
-
you want. That's what we call account you know. So interpretation must be
-
public. That's why there's what Peter. There's what Peter is saying, scripture
-
not No prophecy or scripture is of any private interpretation. For a prophecy never
-
came by the will of man. If it came from God, If it
-
came from men, you can you can privately interpret it. But it even
-
came from man, it came from God. Whatever God gives it must brought
-
into the light. Makes sense or not. It must be brought into the
-
light. Nobody can tell if anyone comes to you, to your children,
-
to your family, or anyone say hey, this is how we should interpret
-
it. No, it must be brought into the light. You are not
-
a ship or a wolf. Simple as that makes sense or not. Okay,
-
Now it says, yeah, but we have the prophety will come from
-
last one. What does it so? The first rebutter Peter gave us we
-
were eyewitnesses. The second thing is say, even if I die, if
-
I'm nailed to the cross, and all of us where I've gone, and
-
generations who come? What would you? And I have to confirm and to
-
know that Jesus is really the son of God. Someone comes to you right
-
now and said, how do you know Jesus is the son of God?
-
How would you defend? And this question will come not sparing any generations.
-
You know you need to know you and how do you know? The scripture
-
not just any scripture, it's a prophetic scripture. Do you know that your
-
scriptures are prophetic? Your scripture has something unique greater than any Shakespeare, any
-
Choke earlier book. You know, and I know whatever book wisdom written by
-
men in all better than John C. Maxwell, whatever, whatever guy you
-
follow. I know there's one element about the scripture that is greater than all
-
that. Why is that element prophetic scripture? Prophetic element? It's prophetic you
-
see. Uh, if your prophetic prophecy fails, you know that you're a
-
fraud. You got me in right. That's why nobody dares to predict anything.
-
Now, That's why when they do a video or they put a disclaimer
-
there or in case we say anything wrong or it's not a fault er,
-
nobody dares to say guarantee, but the scripture says it, no, it
-
is a word of God. It is a guarantee. And anyone who claims
-
to be the Son of God, they need to meet every criteria or prophecy.
-
Did you know that the Bible has a criteria about the guide about the
-
Son of God is about to come. They don't know who he is first,
-
they don't know how he looks like. They're not called his name yet,
-
but there's a title called the Son of God or the Son of Man
-
or the Messiah as well. Did you know how many prophecies are there?
-
How many requirements are listed to qualify this person. I want to anyone to
-
go and give a guess, ten twenty, how many recomments? Everybody so
-
scared? How many requirements are there to become the son? To talk to
-
to fulfill this requirement to be this son of God? They know they were
-
coming, and different people were coming, say I am the Son of God,
-
I am the Messiah, I am the Christ. So if you say
-
you are, you can't say it, but you have to fulfill it.
-
Now. If you don't fulfill it, you'll be stoned to death. How
-
many requirements three hundred and twenty four. And that's why you must come to
-
a Bible study knowing Jesus. Right, Yes, they're right. I was
-
teaching. It's like you need to come out of classes. Actually, the
-
best way to study the book of knowing Jesus is not true. Hey,
-
Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you great, but to know that he is
-
real. You cannot escape from prophecy because it is the one thing that the
-
humans don't have. Somebody can say that I love you, I Valentine's there,
-
I love you. They can say all the love you want, but
-
the one thing they cannot give you is prophecy. You can't be in right.
-
Nobody can give your prophecy. You must know the Christians. Do you
-
do you know the prophecies? You can be right. You must know the
-
prophecies three hundred and twenty four of them prophecies like what hey, I want
-
to be bormbed by my mother must be a virgin. That means that my
-
mother hasn't known any man how to do there or by the way, I
-
need to be able to perform certain miracles are and these miracles have never been
-
performed by any men, but only Jesus only you know that miracles are They
-
are normal miracles, and they are miracles by God on perform by God on
-
the means. You can cast out demon but they are deemers or a certain
-
level that you cannot cast out one. Do you know that you can heal
-
certain people, but there are certain healing only the Son of Men can heal,
-
so that you know that he is really the son of Man. It's
-
reserved for them. It's called messianic miracles. You know that. Oh,
-
by the way, did you know that you also need to not only need
-
to fulfill the requirement? You need to decide how you're gonna die, how
-
you're gonna die. When you're gonna die, you know, you're gonna basically
-
tell the person who kill you a you don't step here, you need to
-
step here. Oh, by the way, when my blood comes out,
-
it's not red, it must be a white color. One you have to
-
do. You can decide where you're going to be buried, you know,
-
Oh, by the way, you have to you have to be able to
-
determine after you die three days of the day. You need to be able
-
to rise from the dead. You need to be able to decide all these
-
things. You know now you say tell people say it's very probable. I
-
still believe in the idea of probability. It's a closing here I put you.
-
Let's say we are not asking one guy to fulfill eight prophecies, ten
-
or three hundred and twenty four prophecies, but just eight prophecies. You know,
-
what are the chances of them being able to be able to fulfill them?
-
Say raphire, okay, you are an alien from Mars. Maybe you
-
are are you and you come down to Earth, then you have to fulfill
-
eight requirements of this message of this messiah. What are the chances did you
-
be able to do that? To give you an idea of what are the
-
chances are calculated by SCIENTISTSA you know, like tiles, Ah, those tiles
-
like one and a half inch tiles. If you tie the war one,
-
right, those one and a half inch hols like the size of my thumb
-
like that right. Imagine you take this tile and you tile the entire earth.
-
You tie the entire the whole entire earth becomes a bathroom, every single
-
in one and in one of the tile there you take out one coin and
-
you put it the bet and you press it into the into the ground,
-
and Raphael from Mars will have to land on earth. You pick one tire
-
and you open it up, it happens to be that coin. That's the
-
probability you can fulfill just eight prophecies. You see here there is only one
-
son of man. They can don't be other. Jesus is not a coincidence.
-
Other religions. Other people will come in and try to steal. They
-
will try to kill, they were kindred, destroy. They will say that,
-
oh Jesus didn't that Jesus didn't rise from there. They will come do
-
whatever you can to steal what not your money, not your family. They
-
want to steal what that hope in you, Your hope. It's the most
-
precious thing. Amen, God. God has given this to us, and
-
Peter has trust that not to his own power. He's saying that I know
-
the future generations will be safe. We'll know the true power and the love
-
of Jesus because of the power of the Holy Scripture. God spoke, has
-
spoke, and his words still rings in today to give affirmation for you and
-
I Heaven rules right. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
