  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea. I want to just want to share with us

  3. this one and encourage us. Just received this verse that says he makes all

  4. things new. Amen, he makes all things new. It comes from Revelation,

  5. chapter twenty one and verse five, and it sounds a lot like the

  6. message I preached the last time I came. But it comes because it comes

  7. from Revelation. So it says, yeah, then he will sat on the

  8. throne, said behold, I make all things new. And he said to

  9. me right, for these words are true and faithful. Remember the last time

  10. he's preached a message that Jesus other name, the name of Jesus is faithful.

  11. Alleluyah, faithful. And we want to be faithful as well to the

  12. end as much as we can. Yeah. So today you know this verse

  13. starts to say that the Lord says, behold, I make all things new.

  14. You know, we have a future and a hope in the Lord.

  15. When you are in Christ, you have a future and a hope. There

  16. is everlasting life when you have Jesus and you never perish. You have everlasting

  17. life. Amen. And while we are still on earth, we live eternal

  18. life as well. Amen. And you know it says the Lord says that

  19. when time when there will be of that future where he will make all things

  20. new. But I believe even today the Lord makes all things new for us.

  21. The moment Jesus stepped into the world, we just celebrate Christmas. The

  22. moment Jesus stepped into the world, he brought all things new. And anyone

  23. who is in Christ Jesus, all things become new. All things are past.

  24. Amen. So what are you and I looking forward to for this new

  25. year twenty twenty four? Just a step away tomorrow you wake up, you'll

  26. be a new year. Amen. And I drew this out of Genesis Chapter

  27. one was fourteen. It says, yeah, then you know this is creation.

  28. In Genesis one, verse fourteen. Then God said, let there be

  29. lights in the sky or firmament of the heavens, to divide the day from

  30. the night. Let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years.

  31. And so he put the sun, the moon, and the stars,

  32. and it gave. And because of the rising of the sun and the going

  33. down and the seasons. You know, we don't have we just have hot

  34. okay, and rain, right, but other places will have summer and adzom

  35. and winter and spring seasons. You know, I'm so glad of the fact

  36. that we have seasons and signs and days and years. Amen, Hallelujis.

  37. Aren't you glad? Because this gives us hope that nothing is anything that you're

  38. going through will not be forever. So if you're in times of difficulty and

  39. challenge, it will be for ever. This tool will pass because God gives

  40. us signs by giving us seasons and days and years. So I really love

  41. this verse. As I was preparing, God was just showing me different verses

  42. and and and for me to just digest this and just want to encourage you.

  43. Thank God for the sun, the moon, the stars, Thank God

  44. for these lights. But the Lord meant it to, you know, give

  45. us time to sleep and to awaken to work. It's good to work,

  46. all right. Don't hope to think that you will never work again. Try

  47. joy choy okay. Because when the Lord made Adam, he placed him in

  48. the garden. He employed him to look after the garden. What a privilege.

  49. So when you can work, praise a lot. It is good a

  50. man, It's not I just want to retire. You retire and do nothing,

  51. your brain would shrink. Okay, so no gardening or maybe like gardening,

  52. auntie uncle, I don't get there, all right, I would like

  53. to do gardening, but not every okay, but I'm sure whatever that is

  54. the lot man for us to enjoy the seasons and the times and the days,

  55. and to mark our lives with every new day, with every new you

  56. know, a season isn't ten days, by the way, oh my season

  57. is over. No seasons go by months. It could be years before that

  58. season is over. But He marks those times for us, and he gives

  59. it as a sign that it's time to turn over a new leave to you

  60. know, open and go through new doors. I man new opportunities. And

  61. remember those of you who did homes notes. Jesus is the door. I

  62. was so blessed with a reminder that Jesus is the door. So if you

  63. feel that your life has a shut door in your face, I want to

  64. tell you Jesus is the door. You open that door you walk through.

  65. Jesus he is our door of opportunity. He is our door of you know,

  66. hope, the door that when we walk through there is peace. There

  67. is come. There is time for us to just find ourselves in him a

  68. man. And as I emphasize on these signs and seasons for days and for

  69. years, it's because we have to walk into a new year. But how

  70. you want to walk into the new year. It's really a choice you and

  71. I have to make. Okay, I have I've not been free at all.

  72. I have been so busy and it's non stop. It's it's it's difficult

  73. since I lost my dad in March, and and then I have my mom,

  74. so I have to take care of my mom. And then now my

  75. brother's taken over. He's taking care of her. But then I have to

  76. pack all the things and I'm still pecking. So it's a lot of packing,

  77. and and they forgot what they left there and it's just disintegrated. So

  78. I do a bit a bit. I pack everything that she needs for her,

  79. but there's still things up to yesterday. I'm still pegging your mom.

  80. Do you want this? Mom? Do you want? You know? And

  81. it feels so busy and tiring. You can say, I don't have not

  82. sleep. It's tiring, and I still do whatever. I still enjoy going

  83. out Mccuneview and hang out, But I realized that the Lord say, hey,

  84. tomorrow, I mean the coming days is a new year. How do

  85. you want to walk into your new year? How do you want to start

  86. Monday? So not every years like that, not every year, and buy

  87. in mind you this twenty twenty four is a leap year. Twenty nine days

  88. in February, so you can leap. Okay. My friend who got married

  89. and twenty nine, he only celebrates his wedding. Anyone she wants in four

  90. years? Terrible are I said? Why do you justa nine? Yeah?

  91. I just want to remember it was in four years. So it's a leap

  92. year. So you know, we want to walk in tomorrow and you wake

  93. up it is twenty twenty four, and tell yourselves the Lord gives us days

  94. and years, and you know, seasons and and and it causes us to

  95. fight that that hope and strength that it's a new day. And so we

  96. got to decide to reflect a little bit before the day ends or tomorrow,

  97. and we come and pray. You better lay all your burdens down and say

  98. God, it's a new year. Amen. And you know the word signs

  99. and seasons in the Hebrew, it's the word moad. I can't pronounce it

  100. in Hebrew, I'm not Hebrew, but it means a fixed time, appointment,

  101. appointed season, festival, feast, solemn assembly, appointed place, so

  102. you know it is set. So God is a god of order, and

  103. that's why they have seven festivals in the Jewish culture, being like the past

  104. over, day of atonement, FeAs of tabernacles, feace of trumpets, all

  105. these feasts like you read that in Levetticus, and they still do it this

  106. year. Oka the new year just passed. All this. It is not

  107. for just simply it's to mark appointed so that the people could spend time to

  108. reflect, to come to God, to have time out to rest, to

  109. meet, to meet with God. And so these are signs and seasons and

  110. we need to take hold of that. It might be the end of the

  111. year, but it doesn't stop you from even as you enter the new year,

  112. to continue to seek the Lord and to set the times with him,

  113. set your appointment with the Lord. You all like to set times, like

  114. to be like, hey, we're gonna you know, machme together, We're

  115. gonna go see a movie. So we know how to set times and appointments

  116. even in the physical how about your spiritual and your spiritual life is gonna last

  117. longer than your physical life. So we need to invest in our spiritual life

  118. to set times before the Lord to know also what it would you know?

  119. Lord, I don't know everything for twent twenty four, but I would like

  120. to start with the right footing in God's word of hope and word of faith.

  121. Amen. So I I really like the idea that our life, our

  122. lives have got times and seasons, days and years. Amen. Praise the

  123. Lord. You can count and say why I know. Of course, if

  124. you get competit team, then you say I haven't done. You haven't done

  125. my masters, you haven't done my PhD. You I haven't had my children.

  126. You cannot cannot compare. It's just for you your time. What God

  127. has for you cannot compare. The moment you start comparing, you will go

  128. downhill. So we don't compare. We just look at what God has for

  129. us, and I want to live it every day. Amen. So in

  130. Second Corinthians, chapter five and verse seventeen, Therefore, if anyone is in

  131. Christ, he's a new creation. All things have passed away. We whold

  132. all things have become new. And that's why I'm entitled this morning to remember

  133. that God makes all things new, you know. And why do I say

  134. that? Is it for d year, only for next year, for tomorrow?

  135. But yesterday no is made new. The moment Jesus came into the world,

  136. the light of this world, he brought new to us so that He

  137. can replace and give us a new life in Christ, in Him. And

  138. if this year has been a year of challenge, if it has been a

  139. year of I know some I can't remember who it is. I was just

  140. talking to somebody and they were saying, one of our sisters, poor thing.

  141. It's like one thing. No, if it's not a child sick,

  142. it's her modesty. You're not a modestick. It's her father and lossing.

  143. I see you now that her grandma say what love is like Wow, It's

  144. like I'm some much not in God. That's why I cannot be submerged by

  145. the problem, but be submerged in God's love and hope. Because she has

  146. to carry that that weight to take care of them, you know, to

  147. be part of the family, to take care and think, wow, poor

  148. girl, one after the other. Bye. I want to pray that it

  149. won't she won't enter in thinking that's gonna continue like with that burden. But

  150. may yes, those things don't change. But I want to step in with

  151. exchanging my burden with Jesus, because his burden is light. The yoke is

  152. light, and you exchange it and you walk with Jesus the yoke so that

  153. it's lighter. And he is the one who will help us work through our

  154. challenges. Amen. So I encourage us. If you are in Christ,

  155. you are new creation. Tell that yourself every day because sometimes you wake up

  156. like you can not. You gotta get us say, oh, I'm a

  157. new creation. My face cannot change, but my heart can be changed.

  158. Sorry, our face cannot change. Okay, no matter what that is,

  159. the face, your heart cannot change you. So that's why. Okay,

  160. all right, you can't change your color. You canna be pink. So

  161. you just have to say, thank you Lord. I'm a new creation from

  162. the inside out. And Lord, my past, my past is gone.

  163. You know you cover in the blood of Jesus. You see my tears,

  164. you collect my tears in the bottle. But every day is a new day.

  165. You know when a friend of ours, you has passed away more than

  166. ten years now in new Zealand are good friend. You know every day he

  167. had a chance to live. You say, every day is a good day.

  168. Every day is a good day. So we print a tition and send

  169. it to his wife. Not you would just cry because her husband, this

  170. is so made right. He did everything for her and but you know she

  171. always remember what he said. Every day is a good day because in Jesus,

  172. every day is a good day. He's a good God. So when

  173. you step into tomorrow, tomorrow is a good day. And who you're going

  174. to put your day in? Who's who are going to trust it? That's

  175. where the good day is a man, and it's not in our investments.

  176. It's not in your how much you invest with where public mutual or asks you

  177. to put money and so we can get text relief, right, you're all

  178. chasing me, and you do know that's not where our trust is and our

  179. foundation, our good day is because Jesus never changes, whether interest goes up

  180. or down, He's still good and he's good to us. Amen. That's

  181. why that's why following Jesus is so good. It's staples, you know,

  182. unshakeable. The foundation is strong. The winds can blow, these news can

  183. come and you're scared and you're looking. But as a storm just comes,

  184. you are in Christ, You are hidden in Christ. You are new.

  185. Every day it's a new day. It's a good day. And you just

  186. take that breath of God. The breath that we're all breathing is God's breath,

  187. the rulor of God, the breath of God. You breathe in and

  188. you breathe out. It's God's breath. It's not ours. It's not mechanical.

  189. There's no battery at this moment. Line side here, some of us

  190. good battery. But yeah, so, but there's no battery, and we

  191. live. It's the Lord. Every time you breathe in your breath, take

  192. a second breath, that is God's breathiness. Therefore, every day is a

  193. good day. I remind myself that as well, despite the challenges that are

  194. before me. Amen. So I want to, you know, share with

  195. us three thoughts about how we can step into that new day, a reminder,

  196. you know it. But we all forget, and there's always say go

  197. why you always us come to you, come to you, we come on,

  198. say no, But a lot of people don't come no. People play

  199. the man and forget that you can come even with the mondiness, even with

  200. the burners, just come to the Lord. And so the first point is

  201. number one, empty yourselves, Empty ourselves that we may be filled by the

  202. Holy Spirit. We need a fresh wind, We need fresh fire. Come

  203. on, children of God, all of us, we need a fresh wind

  204. and a fresh fire. You know, you cannot believe and follow Christ and

  205. not have the Holy Spirit filling you and walking in His power and his strength

  206. and his grace. We don't walk in our flesh and just try to battle

  207. through the day with our strength. Our strength is very little, but His

  208. strength is very great. So what does it mean to empty ourselves is to

  209. let go of our own ideas, our own flesh, ideas, our own

  210. you know, mindsets of This is how it should be. But if we

  211. empty ourselves, then He can fill us with a fresh wind, with a

  212. fresh fire to go the next level of our faith. Jesus himself emptied himself.

  213. My nick's point, love, but you know if okay, we'll read

  214. it anyway. It's okay, it looks funny, Okay, this should be

  215. okay. On the paw point, see what did Jesus do? Let this

  216. mind be, let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ.

  217. Jesus same mind, we're in Christ, right, Yeah, he's the

  218. he's the tycho. Oh, I know, Jesus is the firstborn of all

  219. of us, so he's a tycho. And the same mind Jesus has we

  220. also want to take on. He says, who being in the form of

  221. God, he's the son of God. But he did not consider it robbery

  222. to be equal with God. So he can't be equal with God. He

  223. could be, it's not it's not robbing God of his glory because he's the

  224. son of God. However, he made himself of no reputation, taking the

  225. form of a bond servant and coming in the likeness of men. When Jesus

  226. walked to the river Jordan that day, he walked in and John the Baptist

  227. said, I am not worthy to baptize you. I can't you are the

  228. son of God. And yet Jesus said, no, you have to do

  229. this. He emptied himself, humbled himself no reputation. Nobody knew he was

  230. Jesus. John was the cousin, so he knew. He's like, I

  231. can't do this. Noh, you have no, No, my God,

  232. no, you have no. Okay, So he goes into the water immercy

  233. in that water of baptism, he rises up. He emptied himself. He

  234. goes in, and when he rises up, the Holy Spirit falls on him.

  235. So even Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit. And after he was

  236. filled with the Holy Spirit, it was the spirit of God that led him

  237. into the wilderness. You cannot say, get thee behind me seated, okay,

  238. because he was a spirit of God that led him into the wilderness,

  239. the challenge of forty days preparing him for ministry, no food, no water,

  240. but he emptied himself of whatever that could be of self, and then

  241. the Holy Spirit filled him. Amen. So Church, I want it.

  242. I want it. I want to really empty myself and trying to remember it's

  243. okay to not have a bad not a bad reputation, as in, you

  244. don't have to be known by everyone. If can you walk without Oh no,

  245. no, they didn't call it on call you la human my name.

  246. You know of no reputation because no one knew who Jesus was except that man

  247. that healed me. I don't know who he is. He walked in a

  248. way that he touched lives, but they didn't know him because he was not

  249. out to be known like that. He would rather want them to know him

  250. for who he is, the son of God. So the same mind,

  251. because we are a child of God, the same mind that was in Christ.

  252. He made himself of no reputation. He came in the form of a

  253. bond servant, a slave to the Lord, and he came in the likeness

  254. of men. So everything that Jesus went through in on planet Earth, on

  255. Earth, is everything that we would have gone through. Temptation, the hardship,

  256. rejection. You know, people let him down. Yes, people loved

  257. him, liked him, all things he went through. I don't know what

  258. else he went to. I don't know how is a teenager what he went

  259. through? Really one day you can ask him. But even as he went

  260. through all this, he did not sin at any point, not because he

  261. had more power or whatever. He worked as a man. That means he

  262. really relied on the Holy Spirit to help him overcome, and then he walked.

  263. Therefore, the whole flow of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the

  264. Holy Spirit, flowed, the anointing of God flowed in his life. And

  265. that's the same anointing that God wants us to walk in. But how much

  266. do we want to follow Christ in this Amen? It's it is. It's

  267. definitely a bully. You can get there when you can, you can walk

  268. in that same grace. But do we want to? So? Therefore,

  269. number one, as I said, empty ourselves of ourselves self and be filled

  270. with the Holy Spirit for and that that fresh wind of God to breathe into

  271. us, a fresh fire of God to really lights up and be on fire

  272. for the Lord. Amen. Where you know when you're on fire for the

  273. Lord, You're all you see is the good things that God has for you.

  274. You you you have no time to compromise, you have no time.

  275. You just see God love you so much, and you want to share that

  276. love with people. You want to share God's two with people as well.

  277. And we grow and we learn it's not automatic sometimes because we have so many

  278. years on planet Earth. We have to take on this. Oh I'm working.

  279. Not just walking on sunshine, You're working walking on the sun of God

  280. shine sunshine s O N s hi n e. You're walking on sunshine.

  281. Yeah, yeah, not just the sun, but the sunshine of God,

  282. God's light. Amen. And so you ask for fresh wind, ask for

  283. fresh fire, Come on church Enavla last year already whatever you went through like,

  284. oh so hot? Come on, there are seasons, days and years?

  285. What else? God, how can I even experience the more of you?

  286. How can I walk as Christ? Because at the end of the day,

  287. you and I want to be like Jesus and and and because our flesh

  288. is so strong, he always takes over and say of Christ, take over,

  289. we take over, and then we have this struggle. But we don't

  290. have to struggle. I guess when you walk in surrenderedness to the Lord.

  291. Here empty ourselves. Friends, that's a choice you and I can make in

  292. our time. And we seek the Lord and say, Lord, I want

  293. I want to be filled with fresh fire. I want to be filled with

  294. your holy spirit. I want to be filled with your love. I be

  295. filed with your with your grace. Lord, feel me fresh fire, fresh

  296. win Amen, hallelujah. And you know I really believe, and I'm expected

  297. every time we ask the lifetime I ask the Lord for this he does.

  298. Then sometimes I get no dealer. Yeah, allow the flesh to get in

  299. and you know, start picking on dass and being grumpy and complaining your God,

  300. godland no, not very humble, you know, But when you begin

  301. to surrender. You will then see God lifting us up. I don't know

  302. how to explain God. We can't explain God, but the fact that he

  303. sent his one and only son, Jesus. Jesus the Son loves us so

  304. much. He's working, he's reaching. He's using your life to reach somebody

  305. else's life that they may see the goodness of God. That salvation in Christ

  306. is wow. He's a wow factor. Your life transforms. You know,

  307. my life transformed when I came to Christ from not one thing to talk,

  308. no want to talk, no one thing, to very shy, to very

  309. very shy to okay, okay, not too better hah And you don't believe

  310. I'm shy right from not having a lot of cleverness. God give me some

  311. wisdom. Line you know, did did did better than I did in school,

  312. went on to you know, college, sometimes not clever. But God,

  313. just when you ask him for wisdom, he gives you. When you

  314. say, I don't know, he helps you because you rely on him.

  315. Hallelujah. Amen. And he even when we say are you a very shy

  316. like? God helps us. Amen. He gives us the strength and the

  317. grace. That's why it's amazing to be filled by the Holy Spirit. But

  318. you can only be filled when something is let Gola true. Not your bottle.

  319. You cannot put fresh water. You keep your old water air. And

  320. I realize you canno keep water forever. No, it will grow bad.

  321. I just realized that like water, God, no expiry day God, He's

  322. not fresh water anymore. So you have to throw away that water so that

  323. you can put fresh water. And fresh water tastes amazing. Okay, you

  324. drink old water, not nice and against he got sedimons and all that.

  325. Right. Okay, come on, if you know how to clear your tump

  326. away your bottle water to make it clear fresh water every day, that's just

  327. us. Amen, he will feelers. But we must let go la somewhere.

  328. Let go surrender my pride, ice Arender. I don't like this person,

  329. eyes, Arender. I'm a good thing. Don't hurt anymore. Just

  330. just receee fresh water, fresh fire, fresh wind, so that you can

  331. fly with the grace of God over every circumstance. Number two, letting go

  332. of the things which are passed and reach forward for the things that are ahead.

  333. Are you ready to move forward? Church? Makes some nise? All

  334. right? Please don't be quiet. This is not a funeral. Don't sleep

  335. on me. Wake up, Come on sleeping here. It's Sunday. Study

  336. first. It's a great day to be alive. If you cannot keep your

  337. eyes open, why you sleep so late last night? You knew it was

  338. just today, right, Terry Bullay, Okay, Let go of the past.

  339. Let go and move forward. It's boring to live in the past.

  340. It's boring to keep reminding yourself of your failures, of other people's failures,

  341. of other people hurting you. It's boring. No new story, old story.

  342. But in Christ, all things are new. We have to let go

  343. where the good accolades also have to let go, so that you can crap

  344. forward for what's ahead of us. Amen, Philippians, Chapter three, verse

  345. fourteen to fifteen, says Philippians, Chapter three, verse fourteen to fifteen.

  346. Nowadays, I got slight. You don't turn your Bible? No, did

  347. you turn your Bible this week? Some people don't know. This is the

  348. truth. Low. I'm not saying because I got nothing else to say.

  349. I just try to wake you up because of your truth. The truth is

  350. you haven't turned the Bible because you've been waiting for the slides. Something I

  351. do want to do slides, you know, those days I grow, I've

  352. got no slides on the preacher preach, I listen to take notes. Hey,

  353. nowadays nobody takenotes. That's why are no fresh ween. I think?

  354. All right, brethren, don't count yourself. I don't count myself to have

  355. apprehended, to have reached. But one thing I do forgetting those things which

  356. are behind, I reach forward to those things which are ahead. I press

  357. toward the goal for the price of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

  358. Come on, people, amen. Yeah, I haven't reached yet,

  359. passes. But what I do is I have to let go of the past

  360. and I go forward, so dead I can press toward the goal for the

  361. price of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Amen. So thirty

  362. first of December is your last day to play with your past. That's it

  363. enough enough, because it's no fun to live in your past, even if

  364. the past was very good. So I did very well. Yay, oh

  365. Gondon new paper. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know why you're

  366. very famous one here praise the Lord. Amen. But there's new goals,

  367. new prizes to receive new, new badge the way. Wait, God loud,

  368. keep it the same thing. Come on new and we hold on.

  369. See the testimonies are great, which you were sharing. Glorify God. But

  370. you cannot live in yesterday. None of us live in yesterday. If we

  371. continue to live in yesterday, there is no future. Come on yesterday,

  372. goodbye. Today we live tomorrow. Hello, okay, tomorrow you get ready

  373. to say hello. And the Lord would not put this in the Bible if

  374. it were not true. Paul had to say where the good or bad?

  375. Where the Whether he he healed ten thousand people, I don't know whether he

  376. failed a thousand people. I don't know. He said, I have to

  377. forget. Maybe he had to forget, even the persecution, how many Christians

  378. he killed and dragged to the jail of the prison, even those haunting thoughts

  379. that ah Man I took so many people's lives, I was wrong, even

  380. that he has to let go. If not the the video want to keep

  381. playing. You know, you know some videos in our mindset cannot keep playing.

  382. Gets you very are you are you? You know? You know like

  383. sometimes he use against you. I know what you did last summer, I

  384. know what you did last summer, you know, and then the hook comes

  385. out. No, we don't want to know what happened last summer is done.

  386. Repent the first thing to overcome your last summer rubbish. Repent, repent,

  387. Just go to the lot you and I gotta go. I saw this

  388. morning? Are you Lord? Sorry? Forgive me? Forgive me? Lord,

  389. wash me in the blood, And I try not to go back to

  390. those things again. By God's grace, let go, whether good or bad.

  391. Good testimonies are there to glorify God. But there's new testimonies waiting for

  392. you. Come on, are you? If we cannot let go, or

  393. we cannot run forward, we won't be able to step into the old things

  394. new for us. We won't be able to because we keep saying how good

  395. like it's like some of our parents and I remember when I was younger,

  396. we said those were the good old days. And I catch myself saying the

  397. same thing, those were good old days, or y'all love The songs in

  398. the eighties were the beds the song the nineties are bad? Now? Okay,

  399. how how do how to move forward? Cannot cannot connect, so we

  400. cannot keep saying the good old days? Praise God? For the good old

  401. days. Praise for the great days, great days, extra great days.

  402. We've had twenty three years. It's twenty fourth year. Ready, so goodbye

  403. lah kenna, good la Lord. Good things have p exchurtion. We've done

  404. a lot, but that's the past, twenty fourth year. Come on,

  405. Church, we gotta make new stories, touch new lives, touch more community.

  406. See the miracles happen through your hands. Pray for people, get saved

  407. those things that have happened that are good at testimonies. Those things which are

  408. bad and painful, leave it lie the grave. Someone you wanna carry,

  409. how how how le we become a hunchback of notre dam. Don't carry you

  410. don't want to do that. So we're gonna let go and press forward to

  411. the goal of the upward call, not downward call, upward call, upward

  412. call, always in Jesus, up up up, not down down down.

  413. Okay, Amen number two, As I said, let go of the past

  414. and reach forward for what is ahead of us. Amen, Praise the Lord.

  415. Turn on on. You have to think about what you have allowed to

  416. pull you back. Yea, only you know. I don't know, even

  417. Holst. We won't tell me what pulls you back. Okay, unless but

  418. you know what it is that keeps us back? When you are in Jesus,

  419. when you have all of heaven, think of it. Friends, in

  420. christ you have everything. Sometimes I've just got to sit down and think and

  421. remember I'm not just a name. Christian is. Everything of heaven backs me

  422. up. Everything that heaven has is for me. Healing is for me,

  423. my future. But what I need to do my today is for me.

  424. My marriage, how it's gonna turn out is really all of heaven backs me

  425. up. What do I want to do about it? What do I want

  426. to speak? How do I want to live? How do I want to

  427. love? How much do I want to forgive? How much do I want

  428. to you know, be a helping hand? Really it's in us. All

  429. of heaven is for us. Amen, Brethren, don't go and look behind

  430. you look for little while to learn from your passes. Okay, but don't

  431. keep looking. We don't have to drive like that. No, can you

  432. drive light that? Looking back? I think you have a lot of accident

  433. your I hear your idea, I hear, I cannot. I cannot.

  434. Sometimes, Yeah, you roll. There's that kind of fun thing when they

  435. roll backwards. You only look for a while to catch what shouldn't be done

  436. again, and you move forward. Otherwise, we really are not living.

  437. We're just celebrating our past could be, which could be great accolades. It

  438. could also be our failures. But we can learn from our failures. That's

  439. not wrong. We can get up when we have fallen. We can get

  440. up when we didn't get it right or didn't do it right. Maybe we

  441. couldn't get right with this person. Let's get it right with another person.

  442. That God will give us the chance to amen. Thirdly, seek the Lord

  443. and read his eternal word. Build your faith upon the solid rock Jesus Christ,

  444. Amen, and the scripture you can't run away and met you two twenty

  445. four. Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of mind is Jesus and does them,

  446. I will liken him to be a wise man who built his house on

  447. the on the Amen the rock. Jesus is the rock. Jesus is your

  448. rock. Always tell you no the dating girls, and then want to engage

  449. your the rock, then the girl. If you are a really holy girl,

  450. like you say, boyfriend, it's okay. Jesus is my rock.

  451. You don't need to give me a diament. But if you give gen la,

  452. Jesus is my rock, okay, stable forever. The guys are like,

  453. yeah, Yeahdad, don't need to buy. No, you still have

  454. the villa. But Jesus is my rock. And then Jesus is the rock,

  455. the firm foundation on which you stand. But if we don't invest in

  456. seeking the Lord, you will not find in your solid rock. It will

  457. be sandy, ground water, come all flash den like highland towers dropped after

  458. a few years. Then that's where you say, But Dispersa was serving the

  459. law so long. How come no not following Jesus Because maybe it wasn't solid,

  460. Maybe we didn't put to practice, Maybe we didn't really look good on

  461. the outside, but the inside it was rotten. We were hiding. We

  462. were always looking at the past. We weren't ever building forward. And that

  463. is that is a challenge. I have to ask myself this question as well.

  464. All the time, am I building on the rock? Was I doing

  465. it for somebody? Was I doing it to get the claps from people?

  466. We are well done, well done? But did God say well done to

  467. me? Did I do it for Jesus? Or did I do it for

  468. me? These are the solid foundations where we built by seeking the Lord daily,

  469. reading his word and build our faith. What is my faith built on?

  470. And we all struggle with different insecurities? We I also have different insecurities.

  471. Am I tall enough? Am I good preaching? Enow? Can I

  472. be as good as pass? Then? Can I be as good as lawyer?

  473. I don't know? And then you're not good? And then but you

  474. know, you try to please people instead of pleasing God. And we have

  475. to check our hearts because the Lord does not expect us to please anyone else

  476. but him. If the Lord put the chop seating on you, you're done.

  477. So you may not. I may not meet the standard of anybody else,

  478. But have I done it to please the Lord? That is what I

  479. need to be. I must be comfortable and accept it in my heart that

  480. the Lord has seen it. Now I also will know when I did not

  481. do my best for the Lord. I know only you know. Nobody can

  482. tell you. And you so won't dire everybody. Okay, you may be

  483. Okay, I will account to my husbands. Okay, so the husband is

  484. so God leader, you know, right? Okay, very good? Way,

  485. No there there prayer, no go and do it right okay, so

  486. you know, speak the truth. Speaks the truth. He didn't butter anything

  487. out of course when he say no, you really did your best. I

  488. can see that. And okay, but only you and I know, Lah.

  489. I also know when I've really given my best or when I I didn't

  490. put my best effort there. I want to say to us, there's nothing

  491. in these end times, in these late days of our lives, things are

  492. changing. To the whole COVID thing is just a sign to tell us what's

  493. going to happen even worse. You got to seek the lot. You must

  494. seek the Lord. Please don't follow what everyone is telling us. Doesn't mean

  495. what is popular is what is God way? The God way, the eater

  496. no way. I don't know normally what is popular. Hey, everybody is

  497. are you sure? Because Jesus was not popular. Jesus did not look like

  498. James Bond. He didn't look like Pes Prosna or whatever. He looked like

  499. No, nothing good looking. No, it's good looking in some of you,

  500. Jay, because nobody knew he was Jesus, to the point that Judah

  501. said, the one that I kiss he is Jesus. He looked like everybody

  502. else. He had no good lookingness. He will not make it a GQ.

  503. He looked like anyone else who was Middle Eastern. Can we seek the

  504. Lord? Can we read the word. So many believers don't read the Bible.

  505. We don't. We only expect you. See, Sunday is not feeding

  506. day. Sunday is celebration day of what God has done from Monday Saturday Sunday

  507. we sing this celebration. Come hungry to celebrate God. If you came as

  508. not knowing Christ yet, see our celebration of how faithful God is. But

  509. our own personal readings are so important to read. And the more I go

  510. back to the Christmas story this last I always read the Christmas Story in December,

  511. the advent of going back to where Christ started. It always reminds me

  512. how little I know. Oh man, I didn't see that point. I

  513. didn't see that point after so many years, and you come back to appreciate

  514. it's not just a baby Jesus, but all that God had for us came

  515. in the form of a baby, came through a virgin a sixteen or thirteen

  516. fteen years old. But how did it all happen? It was the Holy

  517. Spirit. And so when we are faced with those challenges that it's so impossible.

  518. God, remember you can ask the Holy Spirit to overshadow us and bring

  519. us through that situation. It's powerful. So I really want to ask us

  520. to build on the solid rock Jesus Christ, Amen, build on Christ.

  521. And this is the only way my dear friends own one of them physically.

  522. I come on, don't do the what you call you version only. I

  523. use the you vision too when I have to do other stuff easy to carry,

  524. but I travel everywhere with the printed Bible. Even though it's heavy,

  525. I still carry it with me wherever I travel overseas to preach. I don't

  526. try to pack lights, so I might take a slightly smaller one, but

  527. I still carry with me. Friends. I cannot emphasize this is the love

  528. letter to you in many, many chapters, in many books. Sometimes if

  529. I don't understand, Hey, don't worry about you. Don't understand now,

  530. God will bring the revelation to you. There will be other materials that God

  531. will lead you to read. There will be people wh will be preaching and

  532. sharing. There will be Bible studies that we do. Please come to the

  533. Word of God. It is amazing. It's so much that we can can

  534. be encouraged by just reading scripture. We just encourage us to know that God

  535. sees me. God hears me. He knows who my enemy is, and

  536. he will shut them off. He still teaches me to bless my enemies.

  537. You can't put a curse on them because it's not God's nature to do so.

  538. He will take vengeance for you. You learn that, you learn about

  539. the festivals, you learn about why they celebrated it. Then they are extra

  540. materials. But if we don't seek the Lord and don't read his word,

  541. then we never grow our faith in Christ. You become a midget, a

  542. due off in your faith. Don't blame anyone else. Don't say my church

  543. not feeding me, you not feeding yourself? Come on, you grow big

  544. already. I can force you. May edward it. Even the baby Judah,

  545. little Judah, Aaron and Mayo from asking a Paul. I forced him

  546. to eat, so he spitted away, even one and a half, your

  547. old child. When you don't want to eat, I don't want to eat

  548. looking at you right, So you don't want to eat. That's your choice.

  549. So you can find it in babies. They are sinners as well until

  550. they receive Christ. So you I can't force you to read Bible. You

  551. need to say I want the food. I want to eat the word of

  552. God. I want to be filled. You've got to step on it and

  553. do it. Feed yourself. We're here on Sunday, We're there on Friday

  554. nights, wherever it is, to help encourage one another. Yeay, let's

  555. go, let's do this together. But no body can put the food there.

  556. You will still spit at my face and you will still say my chest,

  557. not feeding me because you want. I don't know who all to preach

  558. to you, briand Houston girl, elevation pasta curl, But when you die,

  559. who has to bury you? This pasta? I'm sorry I have to

  560. say it because I've done it for so many who walk away, and then

  561. it please come very very then after I bury them. But I'm just saying,

  562. come on. No one can seek the Lord but you. I can

  563. pray alongside you, and God can give me a word for you. But

  564. it's so much more when you seek the Lord yourself, when you pray,

  565. when you read God's word. Amen, he loves to hear from you.

  566. He loves to hear from you, Edward, he loves to hear from you,

  567. Eugene, your voice, no Sandra's voice. I'm asking on behalf of

  568. Eugene. I ask you behf a Sonya Yeah, yeah, yeah about Sonia's

  569. boys. I don't have a voice. You've got to speak to the Lord.

  570. That's all. God wants us. He wants us, he likes us,

  571. He provides for us. You can draw near to the lot in ben

  572. And you know I want to say this, Si n my next verse something

  573. that pass and I've been talking about. When you read it. Now,

  574. don't say you are not this, sir, he says. Let no one

  575. despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in

  576. conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. How

  577. many young people are here in the room? Come on, anybody under one

  578. hundred. We're just kuchie my homes. You know we're toddless. You and

  579. I a under one hundred. I mean, I don't know how many of

  580. you will live until one hundred. My dad lived till eighty three. You

  581. know some of somebody's grandma's you'll live one hundred and two. I heard you

  582. know, some don't know last there's some grandma's one hundred and two. Good

  583. health. Still, you know, Angulia, don't need to go home one

  584. but mean, God new your timeline, right, kid, There's one grandma

  585. who one hundred and two steal wrong, but she went home loved. Not

  586. to can soever just old age. I don't know if your hundred and below

  587. your youth hallelujah. Okay, So the worst is, don't let anyone despise

  588. your youth. Well, it's not only speaking to young people, but our

  589. in all of us. It doesn't matter. Don't let anyone despise you.

  590. Take the h away, don't let anyone despise you, all right. While

  591. Paul was speaking to Timothy, he was a young minister, young elder of

  592. a church. He was trying to encourage Timothy. But I want to encourage

  593. you and me. Let no one despise you. Why would they despise you.

  594. They will only despise you when we are not exemplary in our words,

  595. in our conduct, in our love, in our spirit, in our faith

  596. and our purity. But they will not despise you if you are an example

  597. in your word. Friends, as we draw to a new year, if

  598. you know, I also been through a very difficult year for me, not

  599. only losing my parents, losing some of our friends from church. It hurt

  600. me. Do I live and keep crying there? Because someone said to me,

  601. pastor, we are all still here. Stop crying. Yes, you're

  602. still here, y story to stop it. What words are you going to

  603. speak next year? Will we speak life? Will we try to find I

  604. suppose the best in that person and speak well? Will I continue to complain?

  605. Will I continue to think of the past? Speak of the past?

  606. Please let me Glauria when I do that? Wake up word is our word?

  607. How are we speaking? People will look at your exemplary because you never

  608. say anything less derogatory. No, you only speak life giving words as the

  609. spirit of God enables you. Can we do that? I asked myself,

  610. Lord, well, I really need to jug out my mulola. Simply don't

  611. stop lasty, Please don't simply la because life cannot be wasted, right,

  612. We cannot take life for granted. This could be my last day seeing you

  613. and and and you know and I simply so let's not simply. Let's make

  614. every word count. If you want to tell your child you love them,

  615. tell them. You want to tell your parents you love them, tell them.

  616. If you want to speak well of your you know, your your company,

  617. your boss, your pastor your friend, your whoever, the gas station

  618. whatever. I'm like, thank you, no them, my husband, everybody

  619. make friends, weird, everybody's mouths weird, everybody. And I'm staying,

  620. I was staying, and I'm lying say I'm the impatient wife. That's why

  621. my conduct good. Okay, But but he does that, that's then blessing

  622. Kamla. So as we take on number one, right, I started off

  623. saying that let's empty ourselves, be filled with the Holy spirit, fresh wind,

  624. fresh fire. Let go of our past and reach forward for what's ahead

  625. of us, and seek the Lord verse tree point three. Seek the Lord,

  626. read his word, build on a strong foundation, then we can act

  627. on our living. Can we watch the words that we say? Are we

  628. repeating gossips? Are we repeating or are we blessing? Are we trying to

  629. find our words that will build up, that will help someone move forward,

  630. that will bring comfort perhaps, or that will you know, be a word

  631. that says wow, I never looked at it that way. The more you

  632. know, lighter word, a word that you know, the words that we

  633. speak, the conversations that you and I will have come on conversations. And

  634. then are you and I actually actually I'm wondering. I so don't know.

  635. Are you and I daring enough ball enough? When someone starts saying about you

  636. know how this row row, You're like, stop, I know row Row

  637. will stop. That's it. I don't know whether we bold enough to say.

  638. I don't think we should talk like that anymore. After all, that

  639. is my brother in Christ, there is my sister in Christ. That is

  640. somebody made in the image of God. I will not tear that person down.

  641. Can I live like that? Can I stop trying to share pieces of

  642. my brain with everybody because they're normal brain? After that? Can I give

  643. you a piece of my mind? Can I give you a piece of brain

  644. to the base? So let us be an example to our words. What

  645. are conversations because God hears those conversations in our conduct? How are we behaving?

  646. How do we live? How do we treat others? How do we

  647. treat God? Your friends are watching? How you treat your God? I

  648. know, I think the Western style of our faith thinking is like anything can

  649. la How do you honor God? How do you honor your pastors? How

  650. do you honor mom and dad? How do you honor, your friends,

  651. your bosses, living a life of honor, your conduct, your posture,

  652. not just stand straight up, but the posture inside that. Therefore, when

  653. I speak to you, how would I speak? I got to learn this

  654. pastor kind of really never a word bad against anyone, no matter how many

  655. times he's been stabbed in his bag, like tell him you never learn.

  656. You're still so kind? But that is the grace. Can I be like

  657. that? I don't know. Sometimes it's hard enough with the handbag, the

  658. hornbat. But Lord, if I want to be like you, my love,

  659. how will I show my love and my kind to people? Can I

  660. love the people who hurt me and I love the people that say nothing nice

  661. to me? How will I show my spirit? You know, they call

  662. it a spirit of generosity, a spirit of kindness, a spirit of joy,

  663. a pleasant to be with. I don't want to be grand Pila.

  664. Spirit of gentleness can't be that. I'm not always gentle, but you know,

  665. come people walk into your presence and they feel calm, not chaous,

  666. not kan jung, or you talk to Pastor kan Jong. Can I carry

  667. a spirit of God that will really encourage people rather than You're not sure you

  668. want to talk to me. You know we ask sells this. How can

  669. I be an example in my faith? Little faith, big faith? Faith?

  670. Like it's just faith when I go through the challenges. How can my

  671. faith shine for the Lord? How can Jesus come through? How can others

  672. learn and be encouraged? I think more than anything, we need more encouragement

  673. right than discouragement. We need more encouragement than discouragement. How can my faith

  674. encourage someone else? Purity? How can I live a holy life pure before

  675. the Lord? It will encompass them from word gone down, everything right,

  676. the purity of my thinking, purity of my heart, purity in my relationship.

  677. How will I manage my relationship if I'm not married yet? Will I

  678. keep my relationship pure before the Lord? Before the people? You know my

  679. dad? I only knew this. My dad is a very good looking man,

  680. tall, I am shot cool looking, and it's always been, you

  681. know, a tall man and a very soft spoken person. I think a

  682. lot of girls, ladies would you know, in his younger days, even

  683. up to his older age, would be very attracted. I think my mum

  684. gets a bit insecular. But there's another story for another day. But he's

  685. my husband told in the wake, which I never knew that my father said

  686. to my husband, I would never I would be very careful to guard my

  687. life because I have a daughter. I will honor my daughter by keeping myself

  688. free from any extra relationships, not even for his wife. But I have

  689. a daughter to be an example to my conduct, my purity. I pray

  690. that he lived it. I I can only know the good of that,

  691. But he said it to my husband. I have a daughter, and I

  692. want to honor my daughter my purity. I will not fool around with any

  693. girls, although they may come, people may bring them. In his younger

  694. days, the business that he was in. Wow, if a dad can

  695. think like that for me and I'm his daughter, how much more all of

  696. us as husband, wives, friend, parent, daughter, child, pastor

  697. leaders wherever leadership position you know where we work in. How can I carry

  698. this as an example? Amen? Church, Praise God. We all can

  699. make a choice and a decision. And that's why it's not boring to be

  700. a child of God, to be a follow up Christ. It is exciting.

  701. It's full of life, it's full of possibilities, it's full of protection.

  702. There are boundaries for our sake to keep us well, you know,

  703. to eat well, to sleep well. I'm not been sleeping all of that.

  704. Just busy. My word, God writes all of this the fullness.

  705. Blessed are you? Blessed are you who follow the Lord? Blessed is a

  706. big word. I pray all things will be made new for you for me

  707. as we step in tomorrow. I just pray that I will. I too

  708. will say yes, Lord, I want to be new in Christ. Renew

  709. me, renew my strength, renew my faith in You. Oh, restore

  710. those things that have been broken. Lord, restore, become better and good.

  711. In Jesus, all things are made new, all things are passed away.

  712. Behold, you are new creation, and God makes all things new,

  713. not only for our future in eternity, but right here on blanet Earth.

  714. Amen, hallelujah. We aren't men to live weak and powerless lives. We

  715. are men to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit

  716. has come upon us to give us power to be His witnesses, to be,

  717. you know, a child of God, to live in the pal of

  718. the Holy Spirit, to live in the fullness of God. So, Church,

  719. I pray that you will take time today or join us for prayer tomorrow

  720. and just be able to surrender some of those things and take a deep breath

  721. of God and say, Lord, it is a better day, it is

  722. make all things new. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
