  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I wanted to bring to you just a message

  3. that the Lord had given me. And so before I start that, maybe

  4. I'll do a little pop quiz okay with some of you. Pop quiz?

  5. Are you ready for pot quiz? Canna Gela can? Okay? So this

  6. is a little bit of like a Bible trivia. I want to ask.

  7. Okay, firstly, names are important, yes, okay? If you right

  8. now, can you just turn to your neighbor on your left and right?

  9. Do you know your names or not? Yes? Or not? If you

  10. don't know, now it's a good time. I give you two minutes to

  11. get to know your neighbor. Yeah, I get to you know your neighbor's

  12. name left and right? Yeah, it's good. Good. Sometimes we sit

  13. together in a chest so long name you never know a neighbor's name. On

  14. right you cannot liw okay? Can on? Not? Next time when you

  15. go to church and make sure you know everyone around you. The names are

  16. the people around you because church is a community, right, Church is a

  17. family, so we kind of know each other lla right, Okay, don't

  18. like stranger, strangers from path. You know, you don't know each other

  19. every way you come to church, I cannot lie, okay, So so

  20. get to know one another, get to know your neighbor. New people,

  21. welcome them, make them feel so warm that they're like, wow, I

  22. feel so hot inside here. Okay, okay, so ex church is known

  23. for our warmth. Right. So names are important, and you know that

  24. your name is very personal, right just now. I got to know a

  25. young gentleman and he was telling me his name and I totally missed it,

  26. you know, and I say something else. Yeah, And it's not nice

  27. when people call your name wrongly, right, or even if they spell it

  28. wrongly. So I got to know a beautiful lady called Testamin, not Jasmine,

  29. all right, it's we always say it's justmine on you, right,

  30. but it's Testamine with a tea. So you remember her name now, okay,

  31. say hello to her after this, Okay, find out who she is

  32. and going to say hello to her. Okay, that's your task afterday now

  33. okay. So names are very important, and there's a reason why God also

  34. has many names. Did you know that God himself has many names? Okay?

  35. Just you know, shout out all the names that you know of God,

  36. God's name. But the Bible has probably a few hundreds of God's name.

  37. Okay, So so tell me some of the names that you know of

  38. God. Yahweh, thank you great, start Yahwegh? Okay? What else?

  39. Jehovah Good? What else? I am? Yes, I am woe.

  40. That's powerful. That's a message for another day, Okay, not today?

  41. What else? What else? Emanuel, Jehovah, Shalom okay, Shalom,

  42. Yes, God's name is Shalom, peace, great? I love these

  43. names? What else? What else? Elo him? Right? What else?

  44. Else? Should die? Well? Beautiful? Good? What else?

  45. What else? Come? Come? Come, don't I some more? Jehovah,

  46. Ralpha? What else? Jehovah, Jirah good? Sid already okay,

  47. okay, good. At least we know ten names are so now your job

  48. is to find out the rest of the two hundred and ninety names. I

  49. think there's about three hundred other names of God right in a Bible. It's

  50. just that I think, because of our language limitation, we only know God

  51. as God many times, right, we know him as Father, yes,

  52. Father, We also know him as Jesus. Say you never say Jesus I

  53. know we're praying the name of Jesus, God's name. Hey, I know,

  54. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. We are here to make the name of

  55. Jesus known. Amen. That is what it's all about. Right. We

  56. are followers of Jesus Christ. Right. And when we say Jesus Christ is

  57. it means Jesus the Savior, the Messiah. Have you heard of this name

  58. Messiah? Yes, that's another name of Jesus, and it's very important because

  59. the name always talks about the character of God. Yes. So what does

  60. Jehovah Jirah mean? Provider? So many of us have lack and in need,

  61. right, and we always like to call upon the name, you know,

  62. Jehovah Jirah. You are our provider. Right. What's the other familiar

  63. one that you know, Jehovah Rapha. Okay, so all of us kind

  64. of like guessed it, really, right, What is Jehovah Rapha? What

  65. does that mean? Healer? Okay? Many of us also have aches and

  66. pains, you know, and we fall sick. So we also call a

  67. name of God Jehovah raffa heal. Right. There is power in God's name.

  68. Amen. Now I want to introduce a new name that you may not

  69. be familiar with. But it's all across in the old test. Mean,

  70. it's okay, you want to learn a new name, right, And it's

  71. very interesting that I'm want to give you a context of where this name was

  72. first mentioned. Now, this is something called the principle of the first mentioned,

  73. meaning when it's the first time mentioned in the Bible, it's very important.

  74. And so we want to go back into the context of it. Now,

  75. this was taken in the Book of First Samuel. You're not the book

  76. for Samuel. Who is Samuel a prophet and he was a very important prophet

  77. in whose time there was a very important man in that time. His name

  78. is King Saul. Right, his name is Saul, and he was made

  79. king. And without Samuel they might not have been a Saul. Did you

  80. see how important that is? Right? Without a Samuel opening the scene of

  81. the Book of First Samuel, they will not be king Soul all right.

  82. So, so this is how the I want you to be so intrigued with

  83. the word of God. Oh, I need to find out what's happening here.

  84. You know, God's word is just so so it's not just powerful,

  85. it's not just morally useful. It talks about who God is, right,

  86. and when you read the Bible, you're reading about God. You're learning about

  87. God. You want to know who he is right now? Of course,

  88. before Samuel was born, there needs to be a predecessor, right, who

  89. was before Samuel? His mom? Moms? If you're here, you are

  90. so important. Okay. Without you, great sons will not be born,

  91. great daughters will not be born. Right, and there's an importance here now.

  92. Okay, so let me introduce to you Hannah. Do you know Hannah?

  93. Right? What do you know about Hannah? She was barren? How

  94. do you say this scene like that? Uh? First first opening? See,

  95. there was this woman who was married to this man named Alcanor, and

  96. she's barren? A how to talk about heritage and legacy? So weird?

  97. Right? Why is this written in the Bible? I thought Bible say everything

  98. can But why is it starting with an impossible situation? Right? Okay,

  99. so let's go to First Samuel. If you have your bibles turned with me

  100. to First Samuel, chapter one, verse eleven, Yes, do you have

  101. your bibles? Over here? In acts we encourage everyone to bring a physical

  102. Bible. Yes, that's a reminder that I have every time before I leave

  103. the door, Bible, Bible, I'm going to church. Hello, don't

  104. forget your Bible when you come to church. Okay. Now I'm reading from

  105. the NLT version. So this is First Samuel, chapter one, verse eleven.

  106. Okay, maybe before that I go to verse eight first. Okay,

  107. let me give you a context. So so let's see him. Um okay,

  108. all right, verse three. Let me let me read verse three.

  109. Okay. Every year El Kannah this is the man. He would travel to

  110. Shiloh to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of Heaven's armies at the tabernacle.

  111. The priests of the Lord at the time were the two sons of Eli Hofney

  112. and Pinnahas on the days Elkanah presented his sacrifice, he would give portions of

  113. the meat to Panina and to each of her children. And though he loved

  114. Hannah, he would give her only one choice of portion because the Lord had

  115. given her no children. So Panina would torn Hannah and make fun of her

  116. because the Lord had kept her from having children. Year after year it was

  117. the same. Panina would tourn Hannah as they went to the tabernacle. Each

  118. time Hannah would be reduced to tears and would not even eat. Why are

  119. you crying? I'll ConA with us. Why aren't you eating? Why be

  120. down cottage just because you have no children? Oh, what a bad thing

  121. to say, right, husbands, don't do this to your wife. Don't

  122. say such things. Okay, he said, you know, why be down

  123. hearted just because you have no children? You have me, I'm the man.

  124. Isn't that better than having ten sons? Oh? Ego, ego?

  125. You go there? So once after a sacrificial meal, as she Hannah got

  126. up and went to pray, Eli, the priest was sitting at his customary

  127. place beside the entrance of the tabernacle. Hannah was in deep anguish, crying

  128. bitterly as she prayed to the Lord, and she made this vow. Okay,

  129. let's hear her vow, right, Oh, Lord of Heaven's armies,

  130. If you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a

  131. son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours

  132. for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to

  133. the Lord, his head will never be cut. All right, So you

  134. understand this context now, So this is Hannah. She's praying, she's crying,

  135. she's you know, lifting and surrendering this need that she has to the

  136. Lord. Right. I wonder how many of us do that. We come

  137. to a quiet place and we come before the Lord and say, God,

  138. this is the need that I have. Many of us run everywhere else.

  139. Right, we call this friend, we go Google search, we ask gibt,

  140. but we never ask God. Right, So this is something that we

  141. recognize because she knew that it was God who opens the wombs or closes the

  142. womb. You have to you have to recognize some things in your life.

  143. There are some things in our life that only God can do. We always

  144. take things for granted, right, But you know it's it's it's very different

  145. when you begin to understand that it's only God who can do the impossible things,

  146. all right, even things like having children. It's God's grace and God's

  147. gift. So let's not never take it for granted. Now, No,

  148. So this is can Okay, what is the name that she calls God?

  149. Can you read that? What is the name that she called God? I

  150. mean there's so many right, he could have been Jehovah Provider is Jovah Jira,

  151. like God, provide for me for a son. Right, but she

  152. didn't call God that? Why not? What is the name that she called

  153. God? Oh, Lord of Heaven's armies. Hey, what's this man?

  154. This is just a woman who's crying because she got no children. Why do

  155. you think she calls God the Lord of the Heaven's armies. And let me

  156. introduce you a new name. It's called Jehovah Sabah. Oh. Okay,

  157. can you say that with me? Jehovah Sabah oath. You have give you

  158. a new name to learn. Now you can use this in your prayer,

  159. right, not just any name, but Jehovah Saba Oath. Now, why

  160. do you think a woman and insignificant woman maybe at that time will call out

  161. to God as the Lord of Heaven's armies, Jehovah Saba. Has anyone ever

  162. called God that here here in your own personal prayer? No? Right now,

  163. when you think about this, what the Lord of Heaven's Army is?

  164. Okay, look at your translation? What other names do you see? What

  165. other types of Yeah? I think different translation uses it differently? Any any

  166. other different names? So one translation is the lot of Heaven's armies. What

  167. else? Lot of hosts? Yes, anything else? Lord or mighty great

  168. tree aims there, right, Lord almighty, lot of holes and the Lord

  169. of heavens arm Now when you think about this, right, a lot of

  170. heaven armies. What's the first thing that comes to your mind? Just just

  171. imagine the Lord of Heaven's army is what? What? What comes to?

  172. What picture comes to your mind? A general, soldier, commander, captain

  173. correct? Correct, Now you can see this in the next slide. Now,

  174. Jehovah sabah oath. It connotes just three meanings, right. The first

  175. one is this, he is the commander in charge of a group of fighting

  176. men. Right, wow, like this one, no play player, fighting

  177. men? Okay, all men in the house. You know you can sit

  178. up straight a bit. Of course, in Malaysia, we don't send you

  179. out to army. Love. I think we should have buff you up a

  180. little bit, you know, strengthen you a bit. A group of fighting

  181. men. But he is the commander, Jehovah Saba. The other meaning is

  182. he is the commander of the multitudes of the angels in the skies. Wow.

  183. Wow, yeah, I know. Wow. Is the only reason like

  184. whoa all the angels, of all the skies, all the legions of angels.

  185. He is the commander of the multitude of it. And of course the

  186. other one is all the stars in the sky. Have anyone gone out to

  187. cheer us lately and look up in the stars and look up in the sky?

  188. Can see stars or not? I cannot do polluted, Maybe you have

  189. to go out scars right and try and catch the stars. But have you

  190. ever looked at the stars, the multitude of it, and say, God

  191. is the commander of the multitudes of the stars in the sky? Wow?

  192. Wow. The first thing that strucks me is God's power. Do you know

  193. that a military manner, a general a monday. Do you think he's someone

  194. that it's like very weak? Hello, everybody, soldiers, get in line,

  195. please like that? No, right, totally not. You You see

  196. someone who is in charge. You see someone who is of strength and of

  197. power. Yes, there's authority and power and this is this is Can you

  198. imagine now? This is Hannah calling out the Lord of Heaven's armies, whoa

  199. to come and give me a Chile? Anyone you ever think about you're praying

  200. for Chila, go to like a soldier or captain. You know or the

  201. police was come and help my situation. No, right, we never think

  202. about that. But there's the reason why she's saying this, Because when you

  203. think about a captain and a general or armies, you're thinking about battle.

  204. Yes, are you thinking about war? Yes, many of our lives are

  205. in the battlefield every day, every day. As you started the new year

  206. until now twenty twenty first, right, twenty one days of January twenty twenty

  207. four, I'm sure you have gone through many battles. Right, I'm sure

  208. you've gone through different challenges. I know we say it's a new year,

  209. but many of the challenges we still have to fight daily. And so for

  210. Hannah, she was fighting this shame, this pain of not having a child,

  211. of being barren for many many years. It was a fight. It

  212. was a battle. Can you imagine having the enemy Panina taunting you hair you

  213. look at you not right, cannot have a child? What is this?

  214. God has forsaken you? All these voices in our hit voices from the enemy.

  215. It's a battlefield, Church. Can I just let you know that today

  216. our battlefield is not really out in the world. All our battlefield is here.

  217. Our mind is the greatest battlefeel that and the enemy messes with our minds

  218. every second. If we allow him to. He knows that if he can

  219. break you here, you are gone. You are useless in the Kingdom of

  220. God. You will not be effective as a follow of Jesus Christ. So

  221. we're gonna watch what's going on here. And the first thing to know is

  222. to align ourselves, align our minds to say, who is this God that

  223. I worship and I pray to Do you know your God? If you don't

  224. know your God, then we will always feel like, ah, my life

  225. is so difficult. My life is in pain, you know, and there

  226. is no hope that that's how we will view because we do not know our

  227. God. So that's why I wanted to introduce this name Jehovah Sabah Oath as

  228. a way for us to know this part, this character of God, which

  229. we are not so familiar with. Right, I think we're very familiar with

  230. Jesus the gentle Lamb. We can come to him, you know, Jesus

  231. full of grace and mercy, Jesus the Baby. But do you know that

  232. when Jesus comes back in his second coming, He's not gonna come back as

  233. a baby. Right. Did you know that he by the way, just

  234. in case, he's not gonna come back as a baby, He's gonna come

  235. back as a fool adult. He's gonna be commanding the heaven's angels. Did

  236. you see that in revelations there will be a rider on the horse right,

  237. and he will be mighty. I want you to know Jesus who is mighty,

  238. Not Jesus who's just meek and ma but Jesus who is mighty. Amen,

  239. God is mighty. I think sometimes in our journey as believers, right,

  240. I mean, of course we're called to be meek, we're called to

  241. submit, but that doesn't mean we don't know our God and we don't know

  242. his authority. We don't know his power. You know, the power to

  243. heal, the power to raise people from the day is power. You know,

  244. it's it's pure power. I don't know how many of you know what

  245. power is. But power can be very very dangerous, right, how many

  246. of you like to go if there's a live wire there, live wire,

  247. open wire, and you want to go and touch it? Anyone try?

  248. Please don't you get excuted. And so this is a name that you know,

  249. God just suddenly revealed to me, and many times I read the Bible,

  250. right, I never saw that. It's just like a lot of heavens,

  251. no meaning one. Right. Sometimes read Bible. We just read,

  252. really read, and then we pause, we pause to think about it.

  253. And you will see David, you know, after king saw that was King

  254. David, right, and he was the king that was at the climax of

  255. the israel nation, the kingdom where they conquered the most land. It was

  256. under the reign of David, and he conquered a lot of land that people

  257. lived in peace after that. And so David himself when he calls and you

  258. now you look through first King, second kings, first Samuel, second Samuel.

  259. You read through all of David's prayer. He will call the Lord of

  260. Heaven's armies. He knows this name because David was a man of war.

  261. Yes, David was a man who used to go and fight, who used

  262. to go and conquer land of He killed a lot of people as well,

  263. But he was a man. He was a warrior. So a warrior gotta

  264. know a warrior, right. David started off, as you know, feeding

  265. the lamb and sheep and all that. But even then in the field he

  266. killed the lion, so he knew how to fight. How many of us

  267. know how to fight? Oucha. I think we need to learn a bit

  268. of self defense skill this year. I think we really need to buck up

  269. a little bit church because the enemy, the battle that we fight, is

  270. not against human flesh, but it's against principalities. You know this. We

  271. live in a world where it's spiritually dark, yes uh. And and sometimes

  272. we just go around our daily lives routina routina, my negro door da da

  273. da da yay Friday, then we can we chill Sunday, we come to

  274. church and we go on and on like that. But how many of us

  275. are really digging in this year? We say, God, I want to

  276. dig in this year, and I want to fight this spiritual battle. And

  277. the most most of the world oblivious to it. Run right, they are

  278. chasing after whatever wealth. You know, every day I get on my YouTube

  279. channel ry like, how to you know track the millionaire mindset? Don't know

  280. what la? You know all these kind of things law alpha brainways da da

  281. da da. I know all these things. This is what the world is

  282. trying to tell you, because you know, it's all about material, It's

  283. about how to be financially free at the ts old don't have to work forever

  284. already. After that, you can just drink coffee at all the cafe.

  285. Let that write. This is the life that allways young people want write,

  286. is it? No? I tell you this is not the life. Okay.

  287. I just want to be an influencer, you know, don't need to

  288. work on I just post a few videos. Then I can get a million

  289. hits on YouTube. I can earn money. Okay, reality check a bit.

  290. Okay. We are called soldiers of Jesus Christ, Amen, and that

  291. means we have a battle. And the battle is really not just a bad

  292. boss or datelines or exams for students. I know that's that's hard, and

  293. that is the battle that you will have to fight. But guess what you

  294. can call on jehovah'saba Amen, his name me know God? They were like

  295. God. I cannot understand Mets. You help me and suddenly God will give

  296. you that clarity. But you know that we you know, our relationship with

  297. God is a partnership. It's a partnership. It's not just God. You

  298. do everything like God. You do my homoe sola, thank you very much.

  299. I want to watch Netflix or TikTok, what's the viral? Now we

  300. spend more time doing that, and we hope that our our mets will improve

  301. h or whatever, science or biology. You know that there is a part

  302. that we also need to play right, and God has called us to rise

  303. up, rise up, do what we need to do. What's our role,

  304. what's our responsibility? We need to do that. Let God do the

  305. rest. Amen, Amen, God is powerful. I want to give to

  306. you a verse from Isaiah forty four, verse six. He says, this

  307. says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of

  308. Hosts. I am the first, and I am the last. Besides me,

  309. there is no God. Amen. Can we settle this once and for

  310. all in all our hearts here today? That there is no other God?

  311. And he is the first, He's the only one, and he's the last

  312. one. And that is the message that we need to really deepen on.

  313. He's like, oh, what about this other religion and what about the religion?

  314. Just be very careful in this day and age. There are many many

  315. teachings that will really sway you, all right, So just just be very

  316. very careful. Just know what is the truth and the Tricia self. You're

  317. free, amen. Know that God alone and he is you know, He's

  318. just one thing us to know him. If there's anything you know, our

  319. theme for last year is Heaven rules. Right. Yes, we are still

  320. in that team until we hit our anniversary. But Heaven rules is something that

  321. we have to know for ourselves. There's Heaven rule in your life. There's

  322. heaven rule in your finances. There's heaven rule in your relationships. There's Heaven

  323. rule in your habits. What are some of the habits that we have,

  324. like, oh, God, you know, I like to slip at two

  325. am because I'm watching all these things and I cannot wake up in the morning.

  326. But like, God, you need to rule over this part of my

  327. life as well. What is the discipline that says, you know, I

  328. will wake up in the morning and do my quiet time. Is Heaven ruling

  329. over that? Otherwise, don't say Heaven rules. And when we don't experience

  330. Heaven rules in our own lives, and we cannot tell others that this God

  331. is real, that this God is powerful to change. You know. God

  332. is after our transformation. God is after our character. It's not about our

  333. success. I want to be very careful here. Many of us think that

  334. God wants us to be successful, right, okay, am I getting you

  335. there? You're like, God doesn't want me to be successful. The success

  336. that God wants for you is not as the world paints it. It's not

  337. having a big, fat account bank account. It's not about living in a

  338. nice big house, having the nicest car. It's not about that. God's

  339. measure of success is oh, this one even are more like Jesus Man.

  340. That is success, more patient success, more grace success, more forgiveness.

  341. That is success in God's eyes. Amen? Do you see how different God

  342. defines success compares to us ourselves. You're like God, I want all the

  343. five seeds, right, But God is no, I only have one one.

  344. See character. I am after your character everything that you are going through

  345. right now, God is after your character. Amen. He wants us to

  346. be more like Christ. Imen. So we understand that God's name itself denotes

  347. power, and God's power is above every forces of evil. Do you agree

  348. or not agree? Not? So? Does any of you still feel like

  349. scared if you go to a haunted house? God? Not? Yes?

  350. Or so? Right? So some of these things are we need to like

  351. ah No, But God, this is all you know in my mind.

  352. You see, fear is in your mind. Fear is always residing in our

  353. mind. It's not in the circumstances, it's in our mind. And God

  354. wants to tell us that he's above everything. He's above all the fears that

  355. we have. So you know, a good practice is right if you are

  356. feeling scared over Something's like, why am I feeling scared? It's Jesus above

  357. this or not? Correct? Not? So you turn your fear around to

  358. faith, church, can or not every time you encounter a fear. Oh,

  359. I feel mad? Right, students, Oh, I don't understand algebra.

  360. I don't know why it is that I know, ze brownie. But

  361. how how when you have fear, that's when you need to take a step

  362. back and say, God, you are a god over a mets. Hey,

  363. hello, you you think God didn't calculate everything? Hey, God is

  364. a beautiful mathematician. Okay, Seriously, everything in the Bible, in its

  365. number in Hebrew and Greek, right, is perfect. Man, Everything adds

  366. up perfectly. Anyways, I'm not going to go and do that. But

  367. God, you're the God of Mets. You make me, and you can

  368. make me understand mets Okay, turn your faith fear into faith, and then

  369. you begin to work at it, find resources, ask people for help.

  370. Don't sit there alone. Oh I'm so scared and nothing will change or no,

  371. seriously, if you sit in your fear, nothing is gonna change,

  372. except that you would get more fearful. That's the only thing. If you

  373. sit in fear, fear gross. If you sit in faith, whoa what

  374. gross? Faith? Wow? I think we want to be living a life

  375. full of faith, amen, Church, I think we want want to walk

  376. every step of our path in faith, not fear. Let's what. Let's

  377. walk cancer scary, but Jesus you have overcome cancer. Amen. Faith.

  378. I'm gonna speak it, I'm gonna believe it, I'm gonna claim it.

  379. And then you walk, You walk, step by step. It's not asking

  380. you to take a long jump, you know. And that's it. No,

  381. No, No, our walk with God is a daily walk. It's

  382. a step by step. Jesus is gentle that way. He says walk with

  383. the Holy Spirit. Right. He didn't say run, you know, he

  384. didn't even say jock with the Holy Spirit. No, everyone can walk,

  385. right, Praise God that all of us can walk. Here some people cannot

  386. even walk. But you know, I'm saying, what in the spirit,

  387. walk by faith, step by step, God teach me wisdom, wisdom,

  388. wisdom. I was just talking to someone yesterday, you know, we were

  389. having a huddle catch up is our discipleship, you know group. And then

  390. this person is doing her business. She runs a business. Entrepreneurs run a

  391. business, right, Yeah, I know it's it's not easy, not easy,

  392. And she does. She she she sells like Japanese curry right, and

  393. she sells either chicken or pork or tofu right. You would think likes something

  394. so simple, a something so simple. But she says, you know,

  395. every day I will ask God, God, how many pop portions should I

  396. make? How many chicken portions should I make? He's like, huh,

  397. I thought you you business woman? You go to the CC like. No,

  398. No, I go according to what the Holy Spirit tells me. Wow,

  399. I know, right, like And and as she does that in obedience,

  400. then she sees because what she's trying to manage, she's also a wast

  401. stage. Undertimes, you prepare too much, you waste, then you throw

  402. away then roogular no matter how much you make right, but if you're not

  403. enough. Then you cannot make customers demands. Oh your it's tricky. Tricky.

  404. Food business is very tricky. Any business is tricky, right, So

  405. she asked God every day. I'm like, wow, do we ask God

  406. every day? Not for our daily sustinance? Do you know the Lord's prayer?

  407. Give us daily our daily bread? Do you ask not? It's not

  408. like, uh, you know, I know I have food enough for this

  409. money ready, thank you Jesus. No, but our daily sustenance, It's

  410. like, God, give us this day. You know. That's why the

  411. children of is your God had to teach them right forty years every day you

  412. go and collect manner and to go for that day. Only enough for that

  413. day. Because you keep for tomorrow you are rot. You will rot.

  414. And many of us keep things like that, right, keep keep, keep

  415. so selfish, don't give it, don't give neighbor. Wait, I don't

  416. have enough tomorrow because no, tomorrow, I give you a new one.

  417. Tomorrow, I give you fresh brain. Why we so scatless today? One?

  418. Keep enough, kivla. If you got extra today, gif ye,

  419. we keep, we keep for ourselves. But that's saying that God, I

  420. don't know whether tomorrow you'll provide for me. I don't know whether your grace

  421. is enough for me tomorrow. Right, and so we hoard humans be hard.

  422. I'm hold by the way, confession. I have to learn to let

  423. go of things. Learn to let go of things right, and know that

  424. God, Jehovah, Supper oath. You you you fight. You're fighting my

  425. battle. You're fighting every battle that I have. It's amazing, right,

  426. you know that the miracles? What are the sum of the miracles that you

  427. remember in the Old Testament? As I talk about the manner every day,

  428. God Provider? What else? What else do you remember the miracle the power

  429. of God that you see in the Old Testament? Sorry, leprosy, the

  430. healing of the leprosy. Right, yeah, there's healing there in the Old

  431. Testament. Thank you for that. What else? What else do you remember

  432. of God's power at work in the Old Testament? Parting of the racy?

  433. This is the general one. Hey, have you ever seen the party of

  434. the RACI? You know, no, right, guess what the Lord of

  435. Heaven's armies, he says, send the wind to blow and eat blue and

  436. you could walk through dry land. Wow, it's amazing. It's amazing how

  437. God's power is displayed in the Old all across. I want you to recognize

  438. that in every part of the Bible, God's power is at hand. God's

  439. power is at work. What about in the New Testament? What are some

  440. of the great power that you witness or you read in the New Testament?

  441. Woman with the issue of blood, this one, right, Jesus didn't have

  442. to do anything. He just stand there and then the woman touched him.

  443. And what flow? What flowed from Jesus to the woman? Power? Power?

  444. It stopped immediately. She knew immediately what was flowing there. The blood

  445. that flowed stopped because power of God flowed in her. It's amazing. Jesus

  446. raised lazarous. Yes, from the date, I have not seen that before.

  447. I'm like, oh wow, I want to see that one day one

  448. day. It's amazing God's power. And you know, the biggest miracle I

  449. think is that Jesus himself overcame death. Yes, right, anyone, okay,

  450. there's any undergo profits in this world, any other good teaching is there

  451. is great. But has anyone ever risen from the dead? Has anyone died

  452. and been risen from the dead. There is only one and his name is

  453. Jesus. And if there's nothing else you can believe in, you gotta believe

  454. that there is no body there. You can go to Israel and look for

  455. the tomb. It's empty because our Jesus has overcome death, and in overcoming

  456. that, he has proven everything that he said to be right. Amen,

  457. everything that he said is true. You can only have these three thoughts about

  458. Jesus. Okay, he is either a liar. Right, he's either a

  459. liar there means some things he said are not true. One Okay, I

  460. don't know what is your perception of Jesus. He's either a liar or he's

  461. a madman crazy sal sail alanga Jesus your would be seal. Or he is

  462. the truth, and that means that everything that he says is true. Sometimes

  463. we cannot believe. So the problem with us is our unbelief. That's our

  464. biggest issue, unbelieving Jesus can do that. Are you sure Jesus can raise

  465. Gyrus's daughter? What Jesus can make mud in someone's eyes and the person can

  466. see. We cannot brain it because it's supernatural. We are only comfortable with

  467. natural things, right, But Jesus is supernatural and so we are understand that

  468. this is the God. So I want you this year to begin to understand

  469. that we serve a God who is powerful. You know, at the snap

  470. of his fingers, he can say win, stop blowing. And that's why

  471. we pray for the weather sometimes. You know it's true and it's true.

  472. Do you believe that everything that's happening right now God doesn't have control? You

  473. will only pray if you believe God can do something about it. Right.

  474. There's the reason why we don't pray, because we're like, yeah, God,

  475. either you don't care, you're too busy, or you cannot do it.

  476. Oh, that's why we don't pray. We don't pray because we don't

  477. believe God can do it, or we believe that he don't want to do

  478. it. All right, So let's just check our hearts and say, God,

  479. actually, why don't I come to you more? Why don't I come

  480. to you to think about how many pop or chicken to buy or to prepare?

  481. Or which part of you know the subject of you know English that I

  482. should study right now? Which you should I focus on biology? Which part?

  483. Why don't I go to God first? Our default is go to ourselves

  484. first. Okay, I do what I can. I do what I can?

  485. But why don't our default is God? Drop everything? God? What

  486. do you think God? What is your way? God? What is your

  487. solution? You have very difficult customers all over the world, very demanding a

  488. lama. They ask you for ten thousand things. You're like, God,

  489. what do I do? How do I serve them? Scoot for wisdom?

  490. In that instant you ask God. He will answer. You go to a

  491. very meeting with a very difficult colleague or a boss. Why are you scared?

  492. Hey? Hello? The person is subject to Jesus, you know.

  493. Hey, come on, sirius, I want you to be so serious.

  494. Like no one else, not even the prime minister whoever wished prime minister in

  495. the world are They are subject to Jesus Christ. Everyone, all the powers

  496. of the earth as we know it right now, is subject to Jesus Christ.

  497. So I myself go back to the most high, to the most high

  498. God. I have direct access. You know, I have direct access just

  499. by saying, in the name of Jesus God, what do you think about

  500. this? Should I go? Should I not go? And you if you

  501. read in Samuel the Book of Samuel, David was like that. He was

  502. a man of war. Right, He's like God, should I go in

  503. fight the emilkits? Not God say hiss, go okay, go bamn win.

  504. God' gonna fight the emmonis or not okay, don't go? Okay,

  505. you say so, don't go because you see, we gotta develop this habit

  506. of one thing to depend on God more and more, one thing to rely

  507. on him because you know that only his thoughts, His thoughts are high than

  508. our thoughts. His ways are better than our ways, much much better.

  509. You know that. That's what we want. We want to say, God,

  510. not my wheel, but yours be done. That's the that's the why

  511. the prayer is there. I pray that every day to remind myself God,

  512. not my way, not roseway, God's way, Jesus way right. And

  513. a lot of times it's saying no to Mi la. You say no to

  514. me, but you say yes to God. Amen. Now see the things

  515. right. This is the God that we serve. And God's power doesn't stop

  516. at him only. Let's read in Matthew twenty eight, verse eighteen, it

  517. says when Jesus came and spoke to them his disciples, saying, all authority

  518. has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make

  519. disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and

  520. of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things

  521. that I have commanded you. And lo I am with you always, even

  522. to the end of the age. Amen. This is something that we want

  523. to drill in you, and you're probably gonna hear it again and again.

  524. But what are we doing about it? How are we making disciples? Jesus

  525. says, all authority has been given to him. Right, so we know

  526. Jesus has all authority. Now I want to point to you something else which

  527. is very interesting. In Matthew chapter ten, verse one, he says this,

  528. and when he had called his twelve disciples to him, he gave them

  529. what he gave them. He gave them power. Wow, Jesus, you're

  530. quite generous. Ah. He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast

  531. them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

  532. Do you know that out of God's abundance of power he gives it over to

  533. whom us. But I want to be very careful to say us does not

  534. mean everybody, US means disciples. Jesus didn't give power to everyone, you

  535. know. Jesus gave power only to his disciples. So sometimes we have to

  536. think, Hey, how come I got no power in my life, no

  537. power, no God's power. Maybe check and say, am I really following

  538. Jesus? Am I really his disciples? When Jesus look at my life,

  539. you will say, oh, yes, I know you. I know you,

  540. evel In, I know you, I know you, Heidi, I

  541. know you. The worst thing is are Jesus. You know you come to

  542. Jesus and jes say, who are you? I don't know you? Then

  543. you know the typo says, hey, by you know, be cast out

  544. in the name of Jesus. You know we heal orchis of sickness and Jesus.

  545. But Jesus says, I don't know you. Does God know who we

  546. are, our hearts, our motives, our intentions, And I want to

  547. give to you another more powerful thing that kind of wow. In John chapter

  548. fourteen, verse Tcheff, he says this most assuredly, this is Jesus word.

  549. Yeah, this is Jesus. Say most assuredly, I say to you,

  550. he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will

  551. do also, Amen, And greater works than this he will do because I

  552. go to my father. Now. I struggle with this verse a lot,

  553. because I'm like saying, God, I'm so weak? How can I do

  554. greater things than you? Even the things that you're doing are I don't think

  555. I've done half of it. I've not raised anyone to live yet, have

  556. you have? You haven't not? Oh my God, I want to see

  557. that. But do you know? Right? God, in his gentle way,

  558. he he showed me. You know that every day that as you're having

  559. a conversation with someone, right, you can either bring this person from death

  560. to life or you can speak death over that person. Yes, every day

  561. you talk to people every day and right, Okay, you're humans, not

  562. ai. Right, So every time you have a conversation with person, are

  563. you using that opportunity to bring this person to life? Or you're killing this

  564. person with your words? Are your words edifying? Are your words uplifting others?

  565. Do you know every day we kill people with our words without knowing?

  566. Oh, because we're very good it words? Right? You do the cut

  567. the person down? Be sarcastic but every every every day you have an opportunity

  568. to raise someone to life, speak life, encourage them. Wow. If

  569. you do this every day, right, I think you begin to raise more

  570. people to life in Christ. Amen. You share the gospel. You know

  571. that when you bring someone into God's Kingdom, you're bringing them life. Hey

  572. hello, it's bring the person from spiritual death into spiritual life. So this

  573. is what Jesus is saying, you would do this and greater than this.

  574. Wow. Church got three hundred over days this year. Some oh no,

  575. wow, every day I got three hunder opportunities, you know, to bring

  576. someone to life. Greater this, greater than this, God says he will

  577. do. I want to share a short testimony and as I you know that

  578. this message I received from the Lord when I was out on a missions trip

  579. last year. So I went for an international missions trip to Lake Toba in

  580. Indonesia. It was a good, good trip. Every night we had the

  581. Christmas night rallies and the whole church was packed. Usually in the church right

  582. there, it's about like beneath the deep people. But on the night rally,

  583. so one hundred over one hundred and fifty people were outside the church,

  584. you know, like this is like, can imagine this is a church premise

  585. and there's a door behind and people were outside. They were coming to church.

  586. I'm like, wow, great revival. Right, and during ministry time

  587. they will come and they will pray. So you know, just be minister

  588. and you really feel you sense God's presence. And on a different level,

  589. I'm not saying you don't feel God's presence every day, but when you are

  590. together intentional, right, See, when you go a missions trip, you're

  591. praying, You're praying for God to work. You're praying that God will purify

  592. you so that you can be used. Right, So it's the intentionality that's

  593. important. And if you don't have it in your life, then may the

  594. mission trip help you get that intentionality so that you bring it into your daily

  595. life. It's just a kickstarter, right, a mission trip is a kickstarter.

  596. But so that's what happened Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night.

  597. You know, we saw all these things. People were coming up, children

  598. ten years old, they were up for ministry. They were crying, right,

  599. ministered by the Lord. Not like we could do anything great, not

  600. like you know, it was us, but it was God's presence, God's

  601. presence, just healing, the ministrying to the people, and on Sundays.

  602. So I was given a privilege to preach in Bahasa. Oh my gosh,

  603. yes, I know in Indonesia is all Bahasa. And can you imagine pretty

  604. in English is already so challenging. Pretty in Bahasa is another challenge altogether.

  605. And in dawn it's a different word, right, some of the words are

  606. different. So so God gave me this message to teach about Jehovah Sabah oath

  607. and I began the first five minutes, right, Jehovah Sabah oh bahamgah yeah,

  608. okay. So then I'm like processing everything in basa right, and suddenly

  609. at the corner of my eye, I saw that there was some commotion happening.

  610. Sounds like, what's happening there? You know, why not paying attention

  611. to me? Right? And what happened was there was a family. There

  612. was a mom, there was a dad, and there was a boy.

  613. I think he was about fourteen fifteen years old. He looked like a teenage

  614. boy, but he looked like he was a special needs child. He was

  615. in a wheelchair. And what happened was, as I began to preach right,

  616. he started having fits. You know what fits are when people go into

  617. a convulsion, like like you know, like that he was shaking violently,

  618. he was shaking. So I was like, oh my god. And so

  619. what was happening was the mom was like about the claw, about the claw,

  620. bring him out of the church, right because he was he was going

  621. to his fits. I don't know how often it has happened to him or

  622. whether it was common, but so she was like getting embarrassed, right,

  623. because you know, the whole church was like, Oh, what's happening to

  624. you know, church people get on what's happening there? What's happening there?

  625. So and at the moment they were like about the claws, you know,

  626. so, and I was like, oh my god, what's happening there?

  627. Right. I had a decision. I had a choice to make in that

  628. split second. I could either say, okay, just about the claw and

  629. then restore peace, and then I can just go on and preach a good

  630. word. Right, but at the very moment the Holy Spirit just say pray

  631. now in the name of Jehovah's saba oath for his healing. I was like,

  632. okay, then I straight away I took them mind and said, no,

  633. don't bring him out. We'll pray right now in the name of Jehovah,

  634. Sabah. We'll pray. Everyone prayed. So we prayed, right,

  635. we prayed, and he was still shaking. Within thirty seconds, he just

  636. calmed down. He just calmed down. Praise God, a man, Praise

  637. sCOD. He just come down immediately. I have never witnessed an instant healing

  638. like that miracle of God. And you know what after that, right,

  639. the message just became God, you just take over redeala because right and I

  640. later found out was the father. It was his first time to church,

  641. father, first time to church, and I was just telling the church church,

  642. you know, God just wants to show you his power. Today.

  643. I can preach about God's power, but it's very different when you experience and

  644. you see God's power for yourself. And the boy was quiet and shalom peace

  645. throughout the entire time. The whole message was there, and we got to

  646. pray for the family and pray for the father, who at that time did

  647. not know Jesus yet. So I'm like, oh my gosh, God,

  648. you you're serious about this thing. You know, you're serious about your name

  649. and we don't take God's name lightly, you know, and then we are

  650. serious about God. He's gonna show up. He showed up. And after

  651. that, I'm like, after that the whole thing was done. I was

  652. still still like, whoa, what just happened? You know? It was

  653. not me at all. It was just God, in his grace and his

  654. mercy, decided to show his power to this family. Even if it's one

  655. person that he needed to show that power. I think he will do it.

  656. But can you imagine how it edified the whole church. The whole church

  657. was encouraged by this. Amen. So I just want to encourage your church

  658. that our God Jesus is alive. Amen. He's alive, and he is

  659. powerful. And there's nothing, nothing, nothing in your life that God cannot

  660. resolve. Amen. Amen, we are empowered. And you know, this

  661. whole idea of Jehovah Sabah got the lord of Heaven's armies. He's not just

  662. the lord of the Heaven's armies. He's the Lord of the Earth's armies as

  663. well. Amen. And we are called to be soldiers for Jesus Christ.

  664. What do soldiers do? What is the responsibility of us a group of soul

  665. the army. Think about it? What is it? Protect? Sorry?

  666. Obey? Yes, great, I love that. Okay, remember well,

  667. brothers say obey. We gotta obey God. We gotta obey the commandments,

  668. right, we gotta obey the commander. We gotta protect what's not. But

  669. that's one thing that we don't really talk about is called offense. We are

  670. called to attack, we are called to take land, we are called to

  671. take directory for God. We like to stop at like, okay, like

  672. let's just defend ou. I think maybe it's an Asian thing. We don't

  673. like to catch your people and right, but but God is sometimes on the

  674. offense to say no, I will not allow another young person die to suicide.

  675. I want to take back that. I want to take it back at

  676. that life. We cannot allow that to happen. We cannot allow people to

  677. just go into spiritual eternity of darkness. Do you know we need to take
