You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message

will light up your day. I was away from missions missions trip all the

way to the country called Botsana. How many of you know where that is?

Yeah, so it's in this huge continent called Africa. I think there

are fifty other countries in Africa. Not growing up right, geography wasn't too

I wasn't too clever in geography. So I thought Africa is a country.

It's actually not, it's a continent. Uh. And then in this continent

that many many different countries. So it was my prayer and dream to be

able to visit Botsana one day. I didn't know when that's going to be

because in Neeli we used to have a lot of our students of Botsana.

I think what used to be in thee life for a while, so he

knows a lot of students of Botsana actually from the continent Africa. So my

I know, I shed with Helena before. So my dream was to visit

at least six of the countries in Africa, because we have all our students

back home there working with their family, a lot of them having kids now

as well, so exports Ona so I was there together a bus the center.

I think I have some photos to show you guys for our trip,

so you can see the land area there that is approaching from the plane we're

approaching, trying to pronounce it the local Carbaroni or Gabaroni English, were just

really as Gavarroonni approaching not many mountain mountainous area. It's still quite almost slightly

more than fifty of Botsna. It's actually the desert, so it's still quite

dry there. And when we run, it's actually summer, but the temperature

kind of fluctuates quite a bit. In the morning it's about about fifteen degrees

and night is around there, so then noon will hit than six. She's

still quite good. Uh. We got my eicon in my room or so.

It's about thirty sisters. So it's actually quite good. Uh dry,

not as humid as Malaysia, so you don't really get sticky there as a

perspire that much. So. And and the plane that we took just now

the selfiere. I talk with Andra, so I ran with Bassasandra and this

is the plane our last lap. It told us about nearly twenty eight hours

to travel there. Uh so k we flew into Dha. We got to

took Katawaysha to Johannesburg with his South Africa. Uh. And then from Joanna's

Burg flying to Botswana. We use this kind of local flight and and uh,

this flight they have different sizes. But this plane that we were on

right when I stand, I kind of actually stand straight as to band a

little in the plane. Uh. And there are only thirty four chests in

this plane, you know those of you who know. Right, our buses

is for the four sitters. So our buses are actually bigger than this plane.

So that's quite an interesting flight. Uh. And the next picture,

so this is I had to capture this, but I realized the picture the

camera does not do it justice. They are really beautiful sunsets there. If

you think of the most beautiful sunset in Malaysia, right, that's like half

of what they have there. They call it the African sunset. It's really

nice. You have like different tones and ships across the horizon into the into

the sky. Next next picture, so this is with our team there and

but so now so this is their local spou the person taking the selfie here

that's past the Lazarus with the biggest face. He was our students in Eli.

Yeah. Actually, lie really really hard for church planting. When he

went over to Line London to study, he helped plant Ex London as a

as a student. You know, in X Church you really believe in the

young people. Even students can plant churches. So a lot of our churches

in the UK or Europe is actually planted by students. So Pasta Lazarus or

he's going to be pasta doctor Lazarus soon. Okay. He's just starn with

his PhD with together his wife. This is their home. They have two

children. On the guy on the furthest right in full green, that's Pasta

in Manoso, he's the assistant pastor and he heads up our church plan in

Gabaroni. Uh. And then behind passa Sandra the guy with our twenty eighteen

T shirt extra t shirt that's a bad banda goal. He heads up our

church plan in Mochudi. So in next Botana. Also in Botwana, we

have two church plants there now all right, So next picture. Okay,

so these are familiar for sister you right, okay, so these are all

our old timers from from Newli. I just had to take picture of them,

all them married. All there were kids, not just one kid,

many kids. Maybe felt like a super owld grandma. But I was there

everything, but we knew them. Then there were students, first year student

coming in with their foundation, right and now you know with children running around

them. It's so amazing. Next picture, Uh, so this is our

ladies fellowship with the ladies there. They have none those there. Noane thos

is from South Africa. Nothing bits the original. Okay, it's really really

good. Uh. Next picture Okay, so this guy on the right which

is swearing our ex church t shirt right, his name is Benjamin. Uh

he got saved actually, next church and how that came about because ex Gaboroni

at that point of time they found out that shot their houses there a lot

of them. They Okay, Malaysia, we have housing developers that build houses

for you. Right there, they build their own house, so they got

to know his family home. The door was actually broken eaten by termites already.

I think termits is quite think that it got many termites hill it's like

almost my height some of it. Uh. And then the locals actually I've

seen just driving car driving past the locals actually eating from the turmit hill.

So there I don't know what they eat. They eat the termites or eaither

eggs or something like that lot, but you can see them digging through and

eating from it. So eatn B turmis. And the church came to know

about it, and they decided to raise funds go over and help them make

a new door. So at the part time Benjamin, you know, they

were trying to reach out to him, but he's always like disappearing and running

away. So true, making the new door for the house, they managed

to make a new door into his heart and so and he decided to join

them for church. And now he's regularly attending faithfully serving as well. And

uh now the the church there, you know, they call him like one

of the permanent fixtures already in church. You know, it's like one of

the yeah, permanent fixtures. That So that's Benjamin. Our next picture Okay,

so sorry, your picture is a video. So I managed to join

them for homes. This homes meets outdoor, amazing, right, I think

we do that in Malaysia of US with the Carrien umbrella no no hints and

signs of mosquitoes as well, And they do that and they happily meet for

homes every time in the dark. So this is probably about sunsets at about

seven ten then, so it's like past sunset already, no complaints, happily

you know, singing at the top of their lungs and worshiping. Got all

right, let's go to the next video. So this is where Exportuity is.

Is about an hour's drive from the city, the capital city of Gabaroni.

So church is here, and uh, this is the compound that we

are renting two buildings. I don't know whether you can post, can you

post? No? Okay, okay, go back a bit. Ah perfect,

So this is where our maturity service is at this building here and congregation

there is actually teenagers and children. So what happened is church immaturity is right

in the middle of the village. So we have teenagers and children just walking

the church like five sixes all right, just walking to the church on your

own. It's really amazing. Somehow it's very safe that I think. So

they come from church and if let the video look again, kids couldn't fit

in. We got the building is really small. So we can go back

to the beginning where look, look, look, look, look bloop almost

and I can let it continue the continue Okay, stop. So this building

here EX Kids meets here. Uh and and when the children sorry, when

the church started growing a lot of kids, right, so they have to

have two locations. X Kids meets here, they have a thirty over forty

kids and and our team there in Motually it's just a bad uh his wife

Cynthia, and to me that's that's the three of them running our church there

and next next door, so we're looking at it like that. On the

right side, it's actually a butcher, so that the butcher actually opens a

Sunday while EX Kids is happening chopping away the cow. But it's amazing because

you know, people come to church and they can't buy beef. They're like,

hey, why is this? Then they drop by and join us for

church. So I don't know how safe for the kids, but so far,

Okay, there there's a varie with chopping on the cow there. Okay,

uh. Next next uh? So this is where ex Botswana is.

So we are actually renting the two shop lots on top. Uh that side

and that side I saw next one, so this is the space. Uh.

The Sunday that we were there was for their chough anniversary. That was

their third Sunday and meeting and this venue. Yeah, so they came together,

built their own stage. Painter did all the curtains on their own.

Dad, I WI everything. Okay, next one just to show you,

just to show your African style of worship really parting away dancing. I tried.

I tried, but I felt paint everywhere. You have to move a

lot of your hips, lower hips, and and there sang a lot of

songs in Seinsuana translated and worship song in the Sitsuana, and so that's their

national language. Yeah. The next slide, so this is ex kids there.

When I took this picture was at the beginning of worship, so this

is just half the children that by the time worship ended, there's double.

This is half because these are just the Gabaroni kids. Mochald were still on

their way. They sent out two public events. They quite comby to the

village to fetch them and brought them over. So parents were just send for

five year old kids and teenagers after the vent to this place and where they're

meeting here. There's no egg conditions. It was really hot because it's all

full window, so you know, glass focuses sun right, so it's really

really hot there, but no complaints for the kids. Uh and they only

had x three x kids, just that they managing this whole bunch of children.

Next photo. Yeah, and then it was commissioning service as we also

when I well we have any versary service, that's where commissioning on leaders decided

to highlight these because six of them here they are all teenagers youngest fourteen years

old. New generation of leaders are being commissioned. So that's them. And

the's this girl first one. The second girl she grew it. She was

in ex kids and now she's exteenstre so so really really amazing. She's chairing

for homes and and they're gonna raise her up to chair for our worship services

and so that yeah, next time, no more pictures ready, Okay,

So that's about I just want to show you we've got Sometimes not all of

us can go for missions right to Botswana, but if you can, you

know, do save up. You need about six to eight thousand, uh,

save up to go over because you know God is doing an amazing work

there, so or any of our church plans, you know you can hait

over the BURGUSSI for mission. So okay, So I thought of just sharing

a little bit more by myself. Not many of you know me, know

me a little bit more already. Uh and and and you know Bassa Gloria

or know me a bit more because you know we've been serving together extra for

some time. Elene also, but uh, just so to share you I

am so I mentioned you know I'm from sub so I called my home now,

but my actually originally from Penang, so that's my kamp any any other

Pinang Lang? Yeah a lot? Way? Can I can I start sharing

hockey now? Is I okay? It's okay, it's not that good.

So it's enough street it's street hockeen okay, not enough of preaching. So

I grew up in Penang, and so my parents started to have so family

in Penang, but my dad he is actually a Malaccan, so one off

one south. Then they decided to raise us in Penang. Uh and and

I grew up in Methodist Girls School in Penang and all girls school uh and

and always you know, we pride ourselves because MGS for us stands from Malaysia's

greater school. That's not out of school. But MGS okay, Malaysia greater

school and and growing up in this school, right the only way that uh

so my family as you know, hockeyen so I speak, you know,

hockeen in the family or English only, never grew up with madriin at all

because in Penane you can survive. Right there were hallam Penang line uh huh

uh. And and then you know, I just started picking up Mandrine a

few years ago when God started bringing the Mandarin community in uh into Xney life.

All right, So I left home. I left Pinice to study here

about at the age of twenty two. Okay, so as of now if

here about eighteen years already about there, Yeah, about eighteen years already I've

been here and you know, not too long ago. So because you know,

we have general elections in Malaysia, right, and I thought, you

know, God convicted my heart to actually change my Icy address to Subanjaya so

that I can start voting here. I can start contributing, become a butcher

as a polling agent, counting agent and contribute because if I voted back home,

anything that changes in the local government there, I'm not there to enjoy

it. And it's not fair for me to decide on behalf of the Benig

nights as well, so I should decide where I am so okay fully relocated

here. My dad, you know, I mentioned that he's from Laca,

so he is a pranac gun, he's a baba. So back home,

whenever I visit my grandparents, they was speak to us in Bahasa Branak Ghuan

because I didn't really grow out in the language, so I don't really know.

I mean, it's the form sentences, it's tougher lost. So I

usually speak in Bahasa Malaysia with them. So I remember bringing some of my

friends last time, you know, to visit them. Then it was I

forget to prepare them. So how come your Chinese family speaking Basa Malaysia.

And because not many people are aware of the Branaghan culture, so you know,

I have I have to help that understand a little bit more. So

there's a lot of adjustments as well for me as I came over to study

here and and you know, going out in Pennie. You know, I've

been driving, uh as of now, I've been driving for about twenty three

years already. Yeah, since I got my license that I've been you know,

very very familiar with Penang road. I'm sure for different ones of you

from different different compan right, you your different hometown, you can close your

eyes and drive for so you can stick it to your destination. Right.

I mean in a way that in a way that if you mind us all

the traffic, if that's not at the cast on the road, you can

actually so I do that. I know the roads uh in Penang inside Okay,

it's just the flip on my hand, and I know all the good

places and so in Penang I think now I have to say I used to.

Now I don't think I know because there's a lot of new shots.

Now going back to Penang doesn't feel like Penang anymore. It has transformed so

much to cater to the tourism industry also and uh and no, going back

to Pennine, everyone speaks to you, Mandy, and I'm like, ha,

very, I feel like a stranger now in my own hometown. So

Pinang is has always been the place that I have been very familiar with.

And and you know, like I said, you know, driving around wasn't

an issue, going to places wasn't an issue. I can also give you

specific, very specific landmarks last time, not now like you know, if

you know you get to town from a certain area, I can tell you,

okay, after you pass, how many junctions you turn left and right,

what the buildings in need to lot watch out for? Uh? You

know I was, I was like walking ways and probably probably it's like my

sense of direction that was still quite okay, all right, So that was

why I was sharing that, because I was that tie in with what I

want to share today. And just to let you know, I saw I'm

sharing. You know, I had been given this privilege to share the word

because not because I'm an expert in the world of God, but you know,

nearl like the nee lions always know, you know, I always tell

them. You know, I'm sharing out of place of being a practitioner more

than an expert. So I will give some examples, which is more practitional

kind of examples than expert. Okay, so baron me. So today,

you know, I just wanna bring to us on you know, all of

us here, most of us here. I believe us, right, you

know, we believe in the Lord. And you know we know that one

of the many, many things that will bring the light to the heart of

God is in the area of faith, all right, and and and in

everything that we do, in everything in our in our beliefs towards the Lord

Jesus. It requires a lot of faith. And why do I say that,

You know, I will wanna bring us so what I normally do.

Okay, however, I share a word. I know I did prepare slights

for for the word, but you don't have to flash it up. Because

of last year, God convicted me to say that. You know, whenever

I should, I shouldn't have slights for the word, because we should all

turn to the Word together. And what I do as well is I'll get

different ones to read the word out loud. Okay, So and you guys

ready to do that? Yeah, okay. So I will want to bring

us to Hebrews chapter eleven. First Hebrews is in a New Testament. Hebrews

chapter eleven, verse six. We can start probably from the first row Capasta

Mic to Nick. So we'll go yeah, so we'll go like this like

first second usually like ask Helen. Now it's like the stuff from the back.

But because I knew he had to day, I will start with the

first row of us because I know our leaders are very ready to read the

world of God. So Hebrews chapter eleven, verse six. Yeah, you

can turn on the volume, hang gonna h h amen, all right,

yeah, eLink can hang on to the mic verse. She will go to

the next verse later. Okay. So he Brews eleven, verse six,

right, it says, yeah, but without faith, it is impossible to

please God. So if if I may illustrate, okay, from my own

understanding of this part, you know, what pleases him, what brings the

light to God's hearts? Our faith, right and and and my my understanding

as well is you know, then therefore then probably probably God's love language.

You know, for those of us who know love languages. Right, there's

different five the five five five different kinds of love languages. But this is

not part of it. But faith is God's love language. Uh. And

and and you know because that pleases him, Uh, that brings joy to

his heart, all right, So faith could be his love language. I'm

gonna use use that. I want to part of that in our brains as

well. So and we do know that, you know, those of us

who know love language, the five love language, it both works both ways,

right, Uh, to express love and care to someone because we are

not communicy. You know, we are not expressing towards a wall. Some

think that it stayed, but it's alive. So it's always two ways.

Okay, you render love and you receive love as well. You render,

you know, quality time, You receive quality time as well. You render

you know, acts of services, you know you receive it that as that

as well. Okay, So the second part of Hebrews eleven six, right,

it says here for he who comes to God must believe that he is,

and that he is the reward of those who diligently seek him. We

are gonna just expound this a little bit more today. So I'm gonna talk

about faith and faith as our destination. Okay, just that you know,

I talk about you know, driving around P nine moving around and and you

know, whenever you start commuting, right, you have a destination to go

to. One you don't get in a car and you don't know where you're

going on that's highly import possible, even unless you want to go for a

fun driveler, go drive around and then go home. But usually get a

car, you know where you want to go. You hop into the train,

you know you're where you're gonna end up. With So the destination today

that you know I want to bring us to, it's the destination of faith.

Okay. And my title for this message, you know, I got

to do it the Malaysian way. The titles how to go are We always

ask each other that it's Malaysians. How to go out of this place?

Uh? And and and how do we get there? Okay? And then

you know when we asked this question Malaysia, Hey, how to go?

Then usually the reply you're like, you want to go where? That's very

Malaysia. Where do you want to go? Where do you want to get

to? All right? So faith, that's where we want to get to

today. So the roote work right for faith? Okay. In verse one,

if you look at the concordance, you know Bible is written in both

Greek, Hebrew and Arabic as well. So the root word for faith is

this. You can show pistis pistis uh. It's from strong concordance. The

number is there. It means to be persuaded. I think it's past past

past this really yeah. It means to be persuaded or to be properly persuaded

to come to a place of trust. And and it also means a divine

persuasion. All right, that's what faith is. To come to a place

of trust. Romans, chapter twelve, verse two to three. Can I

uh now get Elaine to read it? Romans Chapter twelve, verse two to

three. Sorry, yeah, the mike. Can it work? Yeah?

Probably without the slight can work because MTG recording. They need to capture the

Yeah. Okay, Romans chapter twelve, verse to the tree. I mean

everyone who amen. I like the new Living Translation version. It says,

yeah, don't copy. Do not be copycats of the behavior and custom of

this world. But let God transform you into a new person by changing the

way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you,

which is good and pleasing and perfect. Yeah. God's will is good,

pleasing and perfect for us because of the privilege and authority God has given me.

I give you each of you this morning. Don't think you are better

than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation. Wow, be honest

in the evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given to

us. To us there's of faith is always a gift from God. It's

never something that we can produce it on our own. It is given by

God and it is God's divine persuasion. So it is very different from just

you know, some people it's like, oh I have faith, I have

confidence. It is different from that, but it requires a certain amount of

confidence. So but it's not just entirely just confidence in God. So the

Lord, okay, God always birth faith in those who are yielded, those

who are surrendered, submitted, and relented, so that they can know and

we can know what God prefers out of us. Okay. So Hebrews eleven,

verse one, we started with that. Just now in the ESV version,

right, it says, now faith is the assurance of things hoped for,

the conviction of things, not sin. All right, So my question

for us today, you know, can our faith then be a proof of

things not sin? So why do I ask that if there's a cot case

like okay, today there's a cotcase against God, and then the cotcase,

you know, is to say that He is not real. God is not

real and all of us have been caught in uh as the defendants, right,

yeah, as the defendants, and we are supposed to be caught to

the witness stand, all right. So if the court cases say that God

is not real and he does not exist, and they want to prove the

word of God wrong. Okay, want to prove the Bible wrong. Would

our faith then, when we are caught to be witnesses on the witness stand,

would our faith then be able to be strong evidences to prove that God

is real and he does exist? Right? As of course we are the

defendants, right, so we are defending. Uh, it's our faith able

to be the strong evidence it all as witness right those of you who have

watched any lawyer caught, I don't know what you call it, those movies

like we've all the cat caught stuff. A person is called the witness stand

because he is he has first hand experience of a situation like either he has

seen you know, a victim of it or experienced it. No one would

call a witness if the person is like oh I heard from Elaine, who

heard from Nick that this guy is a murderer. No, no witness is

called to understand because based on what other people have said or based on hearsay,

you have to be a direct witness. So then can our faith be

the evidence that can be used to prove the world wrong? Because the world

is always saying that, you know, God, it's not real. If

he is real, is this happening and that happening? Right? Can we

then be able to prove them wrong? Okay? Our part that taught that

you know I mentioned just now. You know I came to this foreign and

Clang Valley all right about eighteen years ago, already to continue my studies to

do my degree, and then decided to set it down here. So eighteen

years ago, which I'm sure majority here of you. Yeah, birth eighteen

years old, which is good eighty years ago. If you can recall right,

there wasn't any Google Maps yet, no smartphone, said fore smart enough

when I think you first started having color, but you still it wasn't your

touch screen March. It's still the doll pad as well. And you know,

I'm quite adventurous person. I like to explore places, so I decided

like yeay, Klang Valley is my oyster. Now go explore places. And

the first thing I remember when I first came here, I asked my classmates,

how do I get to summit? Yeah? How do I get to

summit? R? Sjay? Not yet? Okay? How do I get

to summit? Your SJA? And They're like, why do you want to

go there? It goes Summit eighteen years ago, wasn't d Moore to go

to. People still want to go to the Sunway Pyramid and stuff. There

wasn't anything famous in Summit, but to me extra was there. So it

was the place that I need to go to. So and I was staying

in PJ then so I remember, okay, now you can see that the

book map. So I decided to buy the book map of Klang Valley.

How many of yours in these before I got the map and I started driving

using this map the whole Klang Valley and it is dangerous because uh, don't

please don't do this at home. Okay, but thank god this map boat

doesn't exist. Not I'll be driving and you know, your mat boat is

not a zoom out view. It's a closed view that you have to flip

pages. And so you'll drive, drive, drive to the end of the

page. You don't continue the next patient you sometimes end up in like five

pages later. Then after five pages, you drive towards the end up page.

Then you have to flip back. So it's like while you're driving or

you're flipping pages. All right, A lot of times I have to stop

and flip and continue. So I drove around like that, and at that

point of time, I saw I was driving my So I inherited my grandpa's

car. The car my grandpa bought it. It was manufactured in nineteen eighty

three when we ordered that suff off you here ad no power steering. I

inherited and my grandpa decided to give me his car because I mean, we

didn't have an extra car and a family. So I decided to drive that

car around no power steering, flipping books. Sometimes I had to use my

leg to help me steer the wheel. What you know, please don't do

that. Okay, it's very bad example to drive. Hence need to be

on real eyes on the road, all right. But I did that,

and I was determined. And at the part that I knew of a P

nine friend that was gonna come to KL, not to kre at a part

time ride for me. Everywhere is KL, Cherasi is KL, so Bin

is KL. Pj's KL, and Neli was KL as well. So she

she she came to Indie University, that's where Helena is studying at. She

came to Indie Uni UH to study and why I brought her name because growing

up persecution of family, she's got to go to church and benign. The

only form of church for her is CF because it's on a weekday. She

doesn't have to, you know, find excuses. Gus on Sunday is very

obvious. You're going on Sunday, very obvious, usually early little morning is

to go to church now, all right, so her parents will stop her.

So there's a okay. Uh, Karen is a name. She decided

to study in DA And I'm like, hey, finally I can invite her

to church. And so I set up in my grandpa's car. It's a

Toyota l E for those of you who are into cars. Uh, Toyota

l E. And I drove. I started driving, and I realized then

the map book I have is just for Klang Valley. It does not cover

until Nelai is in the graces and Belan is on the way to Selene's hometown

already Pot Dixon. So I drove. Then after that I was lost.

I also on a call my friend who used to study in Tea University,

Pam. She's giving me directions. Uh, and you know, long story

shot, met up with her and decided at a part of times, Subang

was the only church plan or the only church that we met at. So

every Sunday I would actually drive her from Nearli to Subang for worship. So

and in the old Toyota l e okay. So my involvement in Eli started

then, all right, I started being involved in x Neyli then. So

if you can see here there's a group picture that I have, So that

is Karen uh carrying me my younger sister min Yan Uh. That's they are

class they were classmates in school. Uh. And that's Karen's Hunsburg on the

right. Garelth there are one our key leaders now the next London and they're

part of the SBO uh. And and you know both Gareth and Karen started

preaching in church not too long ago in London as well. So you know,

thank God for safety traveling to and fro and not knowing my way,

you know, survived. And I I've been part of Neelai for about uh

about fifteen years now, and I know that you know, God has caught

me there never never stopped you. Sometimes I might think, you know,

God, my house is just ten minutes away from summit, can I please

come back to Subanjai ten thirty air or am watch your service, But no

answer from God. And we all know you and God that's not answervice.

He wants us to stay put, all right. So as society started the

advanced technology advance, and now we have all the whole AI thinging coming about,

right, I really thank God for Waste and Google Maps. Okay,

so because of ways and Google Maps, right now we can just drive around

get to our destination fast. I don't really like Google Maps before waste because

it can tell you traffic. Right. I'm not promoting waste because I have

a share in a company. I'm just sharing time as a user, okay.

And so I've been driving around since then till now using waste. So

although I know my way around now in Clin Valley than Eli or even two

Impenang, I just use waste all the way because now time is precious.

There's traffic jam everywhere. Oh my goodness, traffic has been bad. But

as of since I started using waste until now right, Race has been proven

to be trustworthy and true to its purpose. Why Race was created? Okay,

the creator of Race created it so that it makes to make our life

easier, okay, so, and and you know the picture. I want

to go back to Exportswana the picture with the photo just now and I would

say and contributed. So even with the old toyota al e car, I've

driven. So at the point of time we used to have three worship services

for at one part that we came for three worship services on a Sunday,

and I used at our last worship service, so we started eight the earliest

pick up my friends and I would drive them. And I've started developing the

stamina of traveling because of a friend who used to live in Suramban. So

after the last wordship service at ten pm, out at back, drive back

I talk about faith being our destination and it requires ways to get there

as well. All right. And one of the reasons why I keep ways

on also when I drive now, besides getting to know traffic, is if

you say, my car, my waist talks a lot, it's very noisy.

you'll say a lot of random funny things. But it's to keep me awake,

to keep me on track. So I because I drive so often,

space out when I drive, but so far as I got no accidence,

I space out when I drive long distance, especially so it helps kiss me

on track, and it would help me not miss whatever turnings that I need

to make. Okay, So in life as well, we actually need waste

in our faith journey, we need ways. What do you mean by dad?

I'm gonna read from the message version now. It says here the fundamental fact

of existence is that distrust in God. This faith is the firm foundation under

everything that makes life worth living. It's out handle on what we can't see

the act of faith is what distinguished our ancestus and set them above the crowd.

All right. So to start off this journey, okay, I'm gonna

bring us on the journey now this and the destination is faith. To start

off with this journey, our ways is on okay, and and and the

first alphabet in the word ways is actually w all right, to know that

our faith is actually worth living, all right, it is worth living.

It is worth all the troubles, It is worth all the hardships. Uh,

it is worth you know, come discouragements. You know, I wrote

come discouragements, disasters, distress, depression, and I realized a lot of

negative starts are so do you and I don't know, right and all the

other deeds that can actually happen to us. But when our foundation is strong,

when our foundation and a lot strong will will, we will not be

shaken. Okay. And through all the shakings that we have to go through,

the foundation still stands, right, you know, kl c C.

They spend a lot of time building the foundation, then only came the top.

You can go read up one how long they actually took to build the

foundation. So testimony comes with the testing of our faith, and it's to

testify of our survival of not just surviving, you know, of us being

able to overcome the situation, even victoriously in the lot. So our faith,

you know, know that it's worth living. Because I've been a believer

since nineteen ninety six. How many years is that since nineteen ninety six dose

of you Gouing math? I think about twenty seven eight years. Yeah,

And if you ask me, you know, were there times that was challenging

that I wanted to back out? Probably there were there were because we have

our mountain experiences and our valleys as well, and the valley sometimes can be

really really hard due to walk. So but I thank God. What helped

me kept on was when I became a believer. It was built on a

really really found strong foundation. The face of all the shaking, there wasn't

any giving up and and the other thing because I was surrounded by friends,

by fellow believers who kept cheering me on. Who is like the annoying voice

in ways, they're like, hey, keep on, try, you know,

don't miss the turning, you know, upp hey, you know,

you know, sometimes we can find our friends annoying, like hey, do

you go to church and not? This week? Could be friends or family

as well. Last time I first came, my mom always telling me like,

hey, are you going to church? Are you sleeping in on Sunday

morning? You know, are you going for homes? And that's the very

very audible voice right people in front of us. But the other voice is

the voice of the Lord, and he speaks very well through his word as

well. So it acts as a reminder. Okay. Second one, which

is a the letter a faith needs to be acted out. Okay, Hebrews

eleven, verse four to twelve. We don't have to turn to eat,

you know, by faith. If you look at that, you know they

were they actually account of all the heroes of faith. Okay in Hebrews eleven,

just have faith that bad. Their faith has led them to do something.

off or whatever not, you know, take my mind off thing. There's

still a reason, okay, And the end in mind is at the end

of this drive, I will feel better, okay. Although there isn't a

destination to go through like pointing the But you have achieved the purpose of you

getting on the drive, all right, So having the end in mind,

what is the end in mind for you in your faith journey? Hebrews eleven,

verse thirteen to sixteen. Right the message version, I'm gonna read for

us here. Each one of these people of faith died not yet having in

hand what was promised, but they still believe. How did they do it?

You know, if God has promised you're going to have a job promotion,

and fifty years later, you know you have all grown rinkly and not

seeing it yet, would we stop believing? How did these people do it?

Okay, that's what the measured message version says. They saw it from

way far off in the distance with their greeting and accepted the fact that they

were transients in this world. People who live this way make it plain that

they are looking for their true home. If they were homesick for the old

country, they could have gone by any time they wanted. But they were

after a far better country than that, the heaven country. You can see

why God is so proud of them, and he has a city waiting for

them. Do we have a city waiting for us in heaven. Now when

we go back to see him Galicians five, verse twenty. I've got to

end already soon, it says he I have been crucified with Christ. It

is what it is, no longer I who live, but Christ, who

lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh.

I live by faith. In a new living translation, it says that I

live by trusting in who in my parents, in the Prime Minister of Malaysia,

in the new King of Malaysia. No, I live by trusting.

I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave

himself for me. There's no one else that could give themselves for us except

for Jesus. Even if they did, they won't be able to promise us

internal life. Yeah, and and how do we go? How do you

go? How do we get about in our faith? If persecution is going

to come and times is already at the brink of it, like we we

it's very clear, Okay, nations rising again, nations, there's pastilens,

covid is around, cases are picking up, and then it's still around.

People are dying, and there's a lot of different things. And if you

read revelations. Okay, the end is coming. What we will our face

be able to stand through the test of time and and and one day when

we have to meet God? Actually even before me meeting God? Right,

remember I told you you have to stand as witnesses if the world's going to

prosecute us, will be able to stand? And some people say, you

know, hey, you know there's this whole like we can you know in

a point of time, this whole vaccine for COVID You can only go out

when you have vaccine. Then that some people speculated you can you know,

start buying things when your vaccine? You know, they might chip you and

stuff like that. But it is true when Antichrist comes, ah, we

won't be able to trade unless we have the mark of the beast. So

can we then be able to stand and say it all because of my faith

in God, I will not receive the mark, meaning I will not have

food to eat? Can we stand to that? You know my family will

be taken away from me. I will not denounce or deny Christ. You

know, are we able to stand against that? So whatever that we're going

through now, you know see it always like you know I mentioned that I've

been. I'm a bit more of a practitioner and and every day is a

practice. Why do we have so much faith in doctors? They're actually just

practitioners. You know, they're still practicing. Uh sorry shaking some of them.

But you know they call right where you know us, doctors are where

you're practicing, and they're like, okay, in this hospital and that hospital,

being practitioners. And every day it's a practice for us. Every day.

You know, God is preparing us. And it is okay that we

go through tough challenges. It is okay. But what's not okay is that

we throw in our towel, we give out halfway and say God is enough,

I'm gonna walk away from it. Faith needs to be acted up.

Faith needs to have the end in mind. The end is, you know,

we want to see Jesus one day. We want to have and inherit

this city that is waiting for us in heaven. Right. So my encouragement

for all of us here, you know, press on, you know,

do not give up, and because you know the end is way more beautiful
