  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. How many you are involved in our You Turn?

  3. How many of you participating in our Youth Turn? Okay, I see

  4. maybe about forty percent of you? So what is you Turn? You know

  5. that right now is a season of lent. Some of you know that lent

  6. it's basically a forty days of prayer and fasting. But together as a church,

  7. we are doing a twenty one days of prayer and fasting together. And

  8. the reason why we name it You Turn is because sometimes when we walk along

  9. in our life, right and we go further and further away from God,

  10. and this is the time where you turn back to God. Amen. Okay.

  11. So next time someone ask you what we call you Tana, you can

  12. explain it. Right, you turn back to God. And so we launched

  13. it yesterday at Pray, Praise, our combined worship, and it was such

  14. such a strong presence of God. And I think it's such a great time

  15. of ministry. And I think you're serious. You're serious about praying and seeking

  16. God for what he wants to do in our lives. Amen. Okay.

  17. So I'm gonna go into my message. That was just introduction, okay,

  18. all right. So, and as I was praying about what to share with

  19. you, the Lord led me to the book of Esther be funny, right

  20. Esther? Okay? Fine? How many of you know the story of Esther?

  21. Ah? Okay, not all knows the story of Are you okay to

  22. read God's Word? I hope that you have brought your bibles. We encourage

  23. you to bring your bibles with you. I think physical bibles are really awesome

  24. because you can flip to it, they can color, you can make notes,

  25. and you can see what God is saying to you. Okay. But

  26. even if you have your e Bible is also okay, all right, no

  27. judgment. Just read the word of God for yourself. Okay. If you

  28. don't have the Bible, then you turn to your neighbor who is a Bible

  29. I can share you or not? Then okay? All right. Now I

  30. name the message or normally I don't give title, but they got It's called

  31. the fast thing that rocked the nation. Wow, the fast that rocked the

  32. nation that all may know? All right, again in line with what we

  33. may be we are going through together as a church. Now you know the

  34. the as you read true the stories of the Bible, right, you will

  35. recognize that there is always something that needs to happen first, and it always

  36. begins with a form of oppression or challenge. Correct. I think many of

  37. us in our lives have gone through some of us will say hell and back,

  38. right, it's not been easy. Last year has not been easy for

  39. different ones of us, different journeys that we're going through, and even this

  40. year at the start of it, I think many of us have been challenged,

  41. very very greatly challenged in our personal lives, some of us in our

  42. work, in our relationships as well. So I want to kind of start

  43. off the scene with a challenge, with an oppression because it's so real,

  44. right, all of you can relate to it, and so I wanted to,

  45. Okay, we won't be able to read everything in the Book of Esther,

  46. but I just give you a bit of background. So the Book of

  47. Esther is about this lady called Esther. But before that, there was a

  48. king. Right, there was a land. There was a land, and

  49. there was a king. His name is king Aha swear Rose. I don't

  50. know what to pronounce a king Ahala, Okay, let's call him that for

  51. sure, yo, king aha, so so king aha was aha. Oh.

  52. Also, by the way, we have someone called Richard here, but

  53. his name is Richard has so we call him aha. Also imagine, imagine

  54. he is king aha laha. Okay, so this is king right, very

  55. prosperous. Okay, he rained all the way from Utopia to India. Wow.

  56. Great, right, claim it riches, claim it right. There was

  57. so much land he reigned over all of this tweet one hundred and twenty seven

  58. provinces. That's that's many many provinces. He was very, very rich.

  59. And of course the story in chapter one is that he held a banquet.

  60. And by the way, guys are when they held banquets, those years are

  61. it's really really really celebration. Guess what how many days was their banquet celebration?

  62. Can you give me a guess? How many days? You think like

  63. you want to celebrate calcala because he's so rich, right, he wants to

  64. show off his riches. How many days was the celebration? One man?

  65. One hundred and eighty days? Wow? Six months or party? No need

  66. to talk so nice, right, because he invited all his Okay, sorry,

  67. I'm howking If you're lost, no need to work, okay. And

  68. so they party for six months, party for one hundred and eighty days.

  69. After that, he said, okay, I want to celebrate some more for

  70. those who are in the citadel, which is like this capitola right in shu

  71. Shan or like very Chinese Shushan got ahala okay. So so then he had

  72. another celebration, and of course at the last day, right when he was

  73. quite drunk ready, he's like, okay, La, I want everyone to

  74. look at my beautiful queen, Queen Vashti her name right, asked to put

  75. her on her royal crown and come in a parade around everyone so everyone can

  76. admire her beauty. Okay, guess what what did whathd he do? Do

  77. you know? She didn't want She's like a yeah, this old king,

  78. sorry, La. She was having her own party, she was having her

  79. own banquet, and she's like, sorry, I'm too busy for you.

  80. And of course, as the king, he got very angry. Pais se

  81. right, pisse, and so he had her removed from position. And so

  82. now the position of queen was empty, correct, empty uh, And then

  83. they had to look for a new queen, right, new queen Da da

  84. da da da, and the story was Esther was selected to be the queen

  85. at that time. Okay, following so far the story quite interesting, quite

  86. drama, right did you make into a k drama handling? Then all of

  87. you know the story? Okay, So that's the background. That's the background

  88. the story. Now, okay, so what happened was now we move forward

  89. all the way to chapter three. Now there's this guy who was he was

  90. promoted to be the leader, right, the right hand man of King Ahasaurus.

  91. What's his name? Can you find? Who is this guy that was

  92. promoted to be the leader? Haman? Haman? Where do you find that?

  93. In chapter chapter three? Verse one? Right? Okay, so if

  94. you're there, it says that after these things, King Ahasuerus promoted Haman,

  95. the son of Hamma data the aga guide, and advanced him and set his

  96. seat above all the princes who were with him, right and reading onto verse

  97. two, and all the king's servants who were within the king's gate bowed and

  98. paid homage to Hamman, for so the king had commanded concerning him, But

  99. Mordechai would not bow or pay homage. Okay, Now there's an introduction of

  100. this new character, Mordechai. All right. By the way, some of

  101. you might know that I work for a company called Mordecai Coaching. Yeah,

  102. so that's where the name comes from. Okay, is from a biblical name.

  103. You can tell me. You can ask me about it another time.

  104. But but sometimes they asked me how to pronounce it? A Mordechai morere what

  105. what is THISA? Okay, it's Mordechai. Okay, Mordechai. But he

  106. would not bow down to Hamman. Let's say Nick is Hamman, right,

  107. and he's newly promoted, right, uh? And everyone, everyone, all

  108. of you bow down to Hamman please every time you see him as bout no,

  109. but more the guy more the guy is like saying, no, I'm

  110. not gonna bow down to you. All right, So what happened? How

  111. would you feel A everyone's supposed to bow down to you all then then what

  112. don want to bow down to you? Let's say he not happy, la

  113. not happy see the face. So then of course what happened then was he

  114. he Hamman became very very angry at this morder guy every time see the face

  115. of this philla tablet the hand right, uh? And so what happened was

  116. in verse a, Chapter three, verses eight to nine. Let's read that

  117. now versus eight to nine. Now, then Hamman said to the King Ahasaurus,

  118. there is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the

  119. provinces of your kingdom. Their laws are different from all the other peas,

  120. and they do not keep the king's loss. Therefore, it is not fitting

  121. for the king to let them remain verse nine. If it pleases the King,

  122. let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay

  123. ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who do the work to

  124. bring it into the King's treasuries. WHOA do you see what's happening now?

  125. So this Harman, he's so not happy with a morder car He says,

  126. guess what, I don't want to just wipe you out. I won't know

  127. what you and your everyone who look like you, if your Chinese are or

  128. all the Chinese, need to go. Okay, it's racist, right,

  129. it is racist. By the way, do you know that there has been

  130. persecution against the Jewish people from beginning until now and right now they're also being

  131. oppressed. Okay, so that's not new, that's not new. Because the

  132. enemy wants to wipe out God's chosen people. If you know, you ask

  133. me, why has that been the Holocaust? Why has that been nationwide genocide

  134. plans against the people. Is because the enemy wants to wipe out God's people.

  135. Makes sense. So everything that happens are that there is there's a plot

  136. against what God wants to do, and that's very real, all right.

  137. So God things the enemy will use someone like Haman, right and say what

  138. because you never bow down to be I'm gonna wipe you, not just you,

  139. but your entire tribe, right, people who look like you. And

  140. so he because he was the right hand man of the king, he was

  141. promoted above all the princes. The kings say, okaila, you do whatever

  142. you are now right. You see, Oh, they never respect you are

  143. never respect never you know, never bow down to your killer. They don't

  144. deserve to live, all right. So that at the time, you know,

  145. out of the one hundred and twenty seven provinces, there were many types

  146. of people, many tribes, many tongues, many languages. Right, So

  147. the king is that, okay, like this group don't okay, So just

  148. set a decree. And the decree was at the month of the twelfth month

  149. of Abar, which is on the thirteen day. Right, that's the day

  150. that you can kill everyone, kill all the Jews, their sons, their

  151. daughters, their children, their babies, and then take all their possessions.

  152. Okay, right, what are you ready for that persecution day? So so,

  153. and because it was a decree right sealed with the signet of the king,

  154. seal he went all around the whole province one hundred and twenty seven province.

  155. The letter was sent out, guess what on this day these people group

  156. will be targeted and will be killed. Feel free to do that because the

  157. king has decreed. Now, people of God, Now if you were the

  158. targeted once, right, if the decree had been given out to everyone who

  159. professed that they believe in Jesus Christ and it's a Christian, you will be

  160. killed the month of December on the thirteenth. What what are you gonna do?

  161. Now? Hid hi? Way? Where to hide? Where the king

  162. has decreed that your neighbors or whoever it is something that who knows that you

  163. come to Extraraza every Sunday. Got your name and I got to see your

  164. picture and all in social media they say, okay, those people you can

  165. target and you can kill. What would you do us? The people run

  166. run to wich country. Those days not so easy to run. You know,

  167. you got your enemy, you got your house, you got your you

  168. know how to really uproot everything everyone. And I think it was a few

  169. months later. How so the natural thing is to cry first load, right,

  170. and so that that's what happened. It caused a great mourning and weeping

  171. amongst the people. So that's the second part of it. If you look

  172. at the slices, and we're gonna read from as touch the Fall, so

  173. I'm zooming across chapter four now versus one to three. It says, now,

  174. when Mordechai learned all that had happened, so Morkai also got the news,

  175. right, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes, and

  176. went out into the midst of the city. He cried out with a loud

  177. and bitter cry, and he went as far as the front of the King's

  178. gate, for no one might enter the King's gate cloth with sackcloth. Inverse

  179. three, and in every province where the kings command and decree arrived, every

  180. province right one hundred and twenty seven province. There was great mourning among the

  181. Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing, and many lay in sackcloth and

  182. ashes. I don't know this weeping and will guess what. The king just

  183. signed a death sentence. This is not even jail term. You know,

  184. the enemy has been given the opportunity, and you know it was an open

  185. ticket to just kill you and your family. I know some of us,

  186. right, kill me, never mind, don't touch my family. No,

  187. but this is everyone. Think about it, everyone in your family, and

  188. they can take everything away. It's a decree given by the king. And

  189. of course, you know sometimes in our lives, right, many times it

  190. feels like we are a decree has been given and it feels like there's no

  191. way out, you know that is there any way to change it? At

  192. this point, it seems very bitter. It seems like the situation is so

  193. it's so distressful that there's nothing else to do but weep and cry. And

  194. they even faster. And in the in the olden days, the Jewish people,

  195. you know what they do. They tied their clothes. Can you imagine

  196. tearing your own clothes? They put on set cloth and then they put on

  197. ashes on their head as a sign of mourning. It's just saying, oh,

  198. my goodness, God, we need you now, we need you now?

  199. Are you desperate? Are you that desperate for God? And so it

  200. caused such a great mourning and weeping, and people were just looking to God

  201. at this time, all right. Now, So in the midst of all

  202. these things, of course Esther found out she was in the palace ready,

  203. right, she was a key queen ready, and she's like, hey,

  204. you know what, what's happening on the ground. I don't know what's happening

  205. outside the palace gates. And then when she found out that her uncle was

  206. also, you know, mourning and weeping at the gate, she's like,

  207. stop stop doing that, you know. And of course she didn't know the

  208. reason why yet, but she said, you know, put on the clothes

  209. for you know, my uncle Mordeca is her uncle, and you know why,

  210. why is this happening? You know? And of course he sent her

  211. the letter the decree that says all Jewish people will be killed, and of

  212. course as is also Jewish, right, she's from the trap of Benjamin.

  213. And but at the time nobody knew that she was a Jew, not even

  214. the king because the king asked her identity. That Mordecai asked for her identity

  215. to be hidden. Okay, so then, and so Mordechai, what will

  216. he do? He's like, Hey, my niece is in the ballast,

  217. you know, the closest to the king. Ready, who else you know?

  218. And so he asked her to go and mix applications to the king.

  219. Go and plead for your people. All right, go go and do something,

  220. do something, do something. No point just crying, right, yes,

  221. I mean we can cry, but there's something that God will want us

  222. to do in our lives. You know, whatever situation that you're in right

  223. now, it might seem that there's no way out, but there's something that

  224. God wants you to do. And man, there's something that God really wants

  225. you to do and take a step forward. And of course, what is

  226. more? What is more? What is Esther's response to that? Let's look

  227. at her response. Okay, so let's read now from okay Esther chapter four,

  228. I'm gonna read to you. Let's see yah, okay in verse eight

  229. right? In verse Eightyes, says he also gave him a copy of the

  230. written decree decree for their destruction, which was given at Shushan, that he

  231. might show it to Esther and explain it to her, and that he might

  232. command her to go into the king to make supplication to him and plead before

  233. him for her people. You got that, That's why I'm meant right,

  234. go and plead with the king. So Hatagh, which is the you not

  235. return? And told Esther the words of Mordechai verse ten. Then Esther spoke

  236. to Hataj and gave him a command. For Mordecai, all the king's servants

  237. and the people of the king's provinces know that any man or woman who goes

  238. into the inner court to the King who has not been called, he has

  239. but one law. Everyone say one law. There is only one law,

  240. which is to put all to death, except the one to him. The

  241. king holds out the golden scepter that he may live. Yet I myself had

  242. not been called to go into the king these thirty days, And so they

  243. told Mordecai Esther's words. Now Mordecai gave a challenge to Esther, Yes,

  244. go and plead with the king. And what was Estra's response, No,

  245. I will die. Correct, And many times we live under the facts of

  246. life. You know, it's a fact that there was a law in the

  247. land. Correct, what is the law? The law was if anyone goes

  248. and see the king without him asking, what's the one law? That's it

  249. put to death? Unless so, there's a way out. Unless the king

  250. holds the golden scepter and grants you favor, that's the only way that you

  251. will live. Otherwise the law is you come and jerry passel with the king,

  252. disturb him off with your head, all right, So that is the

  253. fact. And in our lives, right, there's another fact. The fact

  254. was esther had not been caught into the king's residence for thirty days. Is

  255. that a fact? So you're saying, God, I've been praying for three

  256. years, thirty years, I don't know. But nothing has happened. Yet,

  257. nothing has moved. You know, if the king really liked me,

  258. he would have caught for me earlier, loud, But nothing has moved.

  259. And sometimes you're like, but see, these are the things that all these

  260. facts and these realities seem to point to it that I cannot It's impossible.

  261. The realities and the facts of our lives sometimes determines our choice, right,

  262. and we say, no, I cannot and many times we live by facts.

  263. I'm like that, therefore my life is like that. Right, I

  264. am this skin color, therefore I will not get a job. Facts,

  265. right, Facts that we think of, And many times facts leads us to

  266. fear, fear, fear, what's gonna happen? Cannot wine, sure,

  267. cannot wine. You know, our lingo is always cannot one us because of

  268. the facts that we see in our lives. Cannot want, impossible, cannot.

  269. But the challenge to us as believers and God is I believe challenging some

  270. of us. Are you living by facts or are you living by faith?

  271. Amen? The facts cannot be changed. But do you know who is above

  272. the facts? It's God. We are called people of faith. We are

  273. not people of facts. Okay, there are many facts. There are people

  274. who don't know God by Factsah, yes, lah, you know this is

  275. the natural way of doing things. But we live above. That's why it's

  276. called supernatural. Right. We are people of faith. So we don't have

  277. to live under facts. We have to live by faith as God has called

  278. us. Amen. And so don't let the facts in your life. I

  279. don't know what facts you might have, what challenges you think that you know

  280. you're limited by it. Don't turn it into an excuse. Men outry,

  281. right, think of the excuses that we've given. I cannot because I cannot,

  282. because but we find it within God's strength as he strengthens us to say,

  283. God, I cannot, but you can. Wow. What a turn

  284. around, right, God, I cannot, but you can. That is

  285. what living by faith means. I cannot, but you can. Amen.

  286. And so that's what you know. She went by, I cannot, uncle,

  287. Uncle, Uncle, Sorry, I cannot. The facts are such it

  288. became an excuse. Right, And guess what Mordecai, with the wisdom of

  289. God. This is his response to her, he said, And we love

  290. this right. Most of us probably know this quote only and Mordecai. In

  291. teen chapter four, Versteen says, and Mordecai told them to answer esther.

  292. Okay, do not think in your heart that you will escape in the King's

  293. palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent

  294. at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place,

  295. But you and your father's house will perish. Yet, who knows whether

  296. you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this man. Wow,

  297. what a challenge, right? Can you imagine if it's like a movie

  298. or this is like climax? Who knows that you have been made queen for

  299. such a time as this? Wow? Would she rise up and take that

  300. challenge? And not? Do you know what challenged us? Challenge causes us

  301. right to rise up? If we say yes, If we are not challenged,

  302. we will remain in our comfort zone. God's God's always challenging us,

  303. you know, and sometimes we think, God, stop, don't challenge me.

  304. You know, I just want to quite be obedient, you know,

  305. live a very quiet life, simple life. But God always challenges us because

  306. he wants to raise us to the next level of faith. He doesn't want

  307. to leave you like, oh your faith, your your last testimony was what

  308. twenty years ago? He's any fresh testimony? What you know the last whatever

  309. that you've experienced of God was three months ago? Is there a fresh testimony

  310. now? Do you know that every day? There are testimonies in God every

  311. day if you choose to see it and you believe. But that only comes

  312. if you choose to walk by faith and not by facts. If you live

  313. by facts, guess what you'll get? Facts and facts is not supernatural.

  314. Fax is like, Okay, you work hard, you get promoted, that's

  315. itler right, You do whatever your boss asked you to do. That's that's

  316. facts, right. But faith is very different, and faith always challenges the

  317. people. Do you know why they were they were persecuted. I can't come

  318. back to why Hahman really dislike Mordecai because they were people. Firstly, they

  319. were scattered everywhere, but they were set apart. If you read it in

  320. as a chapter two, set apart, set apart means you're different, different

  321. from the world. You don't do everything that the world asked you to do.

  322. The will ask you to do this. Okay, all follow the world

  323. asked you to do this. Oh, oh follow Now. I don't know

  324. how many of you young people here. You're on social media? Yes,

  325. everything that goes viral. Oh, everyone knows something about it. I don't

  326. know. We are so swayed by what's viraling in TikTok. But do people

  327. look at our lives different Christians? You think about it at your workplace,

  328. in your family, do they know that, Hey, this brother, this

  329. sister, she's a Christian. She will not give bright one. Hey this

  330. Christian brother or sister working in the office. She will not do things that's

  331. under table money. She will not go against the law. Will people say

  332. that of you or not? Or will they say, oh yeah, this

  333. one. She will do anything when because she wants to get a promotion,

  334. right, he just has to do anything. She will do when people What

  335. do people think about you? Who? What do people think about you?

  336. Someone who is just like anyone else in the world, or someone who's set

  337. apart. Because the Jews were set part in their customs, in their way

  338. of living, they were targeted. And so as you begin to you live

  339. your life in a different way, in God's way, you will find that

  340. you will be targeted too. I don't want to say that, you know,

  341. as a do men gloom kind of thing, but you can expect that

  342. it will be weird some people. Okay, we've had many different ones who

  343. because of their work line, right, and they have to work on Sundays,

  344. correct well on Sundays, and that means you miss church. But then

  345. we have also seen people who just live by fact, like, oh yeah,

  346. I cannot lie you know. The fact is I still have to work

  347. on Sundays because the work industry is as such the faith life would say,

  348. I will make my Sundays Forgot, no matter what, no matter what.

  349. Right, and if I lose this job, I lose this job, maybe

  350. this job is not for me. But I will put God first in all

  351. my decisions. Would you say that of yourself, like I will put God

  352. first in all my decisions relationships. I will put God first, not what

  353. my boyfriend or my girlfriend says, My God first? What does my God

  354. say? That's going to be important? And guess what, you will not

  355. be liked all the time because it's challenging. Yeah, it's challenging to the

  356. world's mindset. And so and you know you have been called and I want

  357. to kind of prophesy this over you. You have been called into the kingdom

  358. for such a time as this. Amen, would you receive that each one

  359. of you have been called into God's kingdom for such a time as this?

  360. And what time are we living in? It's a time that all may know

  361. that's the team for our church. Right? What does it mean that all

  362. may know? That means everyone here, from the hotel staff to the hotel

  363. manager, to the guests here, to everyone that's around here the business district.

  364. Do they know Jesus, you are placed here as a church. What

  365. are we doing for those around us? Our communities? Right, that's the

  366. bigger picture. Start sporn ou, Okay, let's start spawn my family.

  367. Does everyone know that Jesus is the Lord and the king and he will come

  368. back soon and times right, it's gonna come out very soon. No time

  369. to lose. You know, every day people are lost, people die every

  370. day, and so is there an urgency? Is it an urgency? Now?

  371. How to say? Wow, God, I really need to come back.

  372. I really need to know. What is it that you really want in

  373. my life? Write? No point coming in and out of church for the

  374. next twenty years, and you know we are still like that. There's no

  375. salvations, there's no new souls, there's no one that you are discipling and

  376. growing in the Lord. No point because then this is like a happy club.

  377. Lah right, you get membership benefits. No club is not membership benefits.

  378. We are called to make disciples. So you are God's disciples. And

  379. God is saying go and make disciples, not pass the Gloria, only,

  380. not Nick, only all of us. We are called to make disciples.

  381. A man of all the nations. How God give us the wisdom. God

  382. give us equipping. And so that's why as a church, in this next

  383. twenty years of our life, we are on a serious equipping journey. We

  384. want to make sure that all our church partners are equipped to say, I

  385. know how to start a conversation. I go and meet someone at the street,

  386. the uncle selling a Salama, like, hey, uncle, you know

  387. Jesus or not? Oh scary right, Okay, let's not go there yet,

  388. trying your own family members? Do you even know how to share the

  389. gospel? Right? Anyways? So the choice is that, and therefore you

  390. know that. Then, as said these to mordecases, Okay, you challenge

  391. me. I'm stirring in my heart. I know God is stirring your heart

  392. right now. The Holy Spirit is And she said, now she had the

  393. choice to make right. Every time there's a challenge, there's a choice to

  394. make. And the choice is she says, okay, fine, I will

  395. now ask you to go and tell everyone in the provinces too fast for me

  396. for three days, no drinking, no water. I will also do the

  397. same. And I love this right because at the end of the verse,

  398. what did she say? What was her declaration She's like, Okay, I'm

  399. gonna fast, I'm gonna do these impossible things. In verse sixteen, she

  400. says this, right, go gather all the Jews who are present in shoes

  401. shoe shan and fast for me. Neither eat nor drink for three days and

  402. night, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise, and

  403. so I will go to the king, which is against the law. So

  404. she's the something that's against the law. And if I perish, I perish,

  405. drop my and show seen too opening act. So Mordecai went away and

  406. did everything according to what Esa commanded him. So for three days, three

  407. days, they thought the lord h and do you know that this is the

  408. kind of fast that moves this nation. It's serious enough if it was a

  409. very serious time, right, because it involved life and death for everyone.

  410. Do you know that when you're about to be killed, you you get very

  411. serious about your father, You get very serious about seeking God when it's a

  412. life and death situation. And it was to seek God's favor and intervention.

  413. And do you know that I say this already? It is because there are

  414. impossible situations in your life that you need a divine intervention. There's no way,

  415. no way in your connection, no way in the medical sciences that can

  416. help you accept God because he made everything. So why not go to the

  417. source. Why go in Charie Lebania and then go to the sauce straight right?

  418. And it involved the state, the nation. This is not just something

  419. on a personal level. It involved everyone because if not, the entire nature

  420. would have been wiped out. When the TLF month on the thirteenth day and

  421. that is set, the day is coming. You know the day will come

  422. right, and so now then let's move on then to the exciting part,

  423. which is then the divine intervention. I don't have time to go through all

  424. of that. I encourage you to read Esther chapter five six. Actually read

  425. the whole book. Okay it ken, don't just read on chapter. I

  426. read the whole book. It's a short book, and it's very exciting.

  427. It goes on and you will get the depth of it. Right. And

  428. of course you know that Esther, she dressed up beautifully right, put on

  429. all the perfume and all that. Hopefully her fragrance or wish the king.

  430. She stood at the gate the entrance to the king, and the king saw

  431. her like ahah, so tuned to the moon. Come come right, I

  432. forgot she She came before him and he was just so pleased to see her.

  433. Do you know what I want to say this? The favor that you

  434. receive, right, is the mine. Every time you receive a favor,

  435. whether it's your workplace, or your friends or your family. Every time there's

  436. a favor, right, it's really from godland. It's not because of you,

  437. you know. Do you think she was just like so beautiful? There

  438. were many beautiful girls. Why her? Why her? Is because God's favor

  439. rests on people who's willing to do his will. Amazing, right, you

  440. think about all the favors that you've received. God was in the picture.

  441. God was opening doors. Do you know God calls it that favor right,

  442. It's like, oh suddenly He liked her so much and then gave her the

  443. Golden sept the energy. He said, Eh, tell me what you want,

  444. my queam. I would give you up to half my king. No,

  445. I wouldn't say give me up the kingdom? Lah? Straight away?

  446. Right, you say really what? But anyways, as I had a different

  447. agenda, so she said, okay, have a feast. Because you know

  448. Hammad was the bad guy. Lah, So bring him into the fees and

  449. Matan together. And of course during that time Hamma was plotting to kill Mordecai.

  450. He had this gallows which is like, you know, a place to

  451. hang people set up for Monday, because he said the next day I'm gonna

  452. go to the king and ask him to hang this for larity. Cannot turn

  453. his face right uh? And so do you know that very same night God

  454. give the king a sleepless night? Are yo? Is this a coincidence?

  455. Guys? Do you think this is a coincidence that the king could not sleep

  456. that night? Cannot be God? Can you see God's fingerprints everywhere? Can

  457. you see that? Sometimes? Now if you cannot sleep at night? Right,

  458. you wake up God? Okay? What Yomi doing? There's always a

  459. prompting when when your mind is aligned to God's plan and purpose, right,

  460. you will begin to sense what He's trying to do. And so God gave

  461. the king a sleepless night. And of course what happened was he read the

  462. book and it's like, woh, this Mordecai is very good. He actually

  463. served me and he got you know, he caught some bad guys and and

  464. so I want to promote him of course, the next morning Haman came and

  465. see the king right to do? What to hang Mordecai? Right? And

  466. then the king say, oh, Hamman, I have a question for you.

  467. What should we do for the man who the king wants to honor?

  468. Or? Then this Hamma's you want to order me? I tell you what

  469. to do. You put him, you know, on a nice horse,

  470. you know, and a nice robe, and then you bring him around the

  471. citadel and say, this is what God what the king you know, does

  472. what someone who honors he wants to delight And he was thinking, I'm gonna

  473. get the honor right, guess what and he says, okay, uh,

  474. Haman, do it for Mordecai, doom turn things around right. Then,

  475. of course Hamma himself had to do that, bring him on a horse and

  476. proclaim to everyone. No, this is whom the god whom the king favors,

  477. and he likes to honor. Man. You think about his face nowhere,

  478. you're right, say like anything, you know, he is the one

  479. who wanted to be promoted. But guess what promotion comes from the Lord?

  480. Amen, don't ever envy other people's promotion. Your promotion comes from the Lord,

  481. you know, Just walk your path, walk your path, and so

  482. mordeca was promoted. And you know at the end of the story was that

  483. the whole nation, you know, Esther revealed the plan of how Hamman wanted

  484. to kill all the Jews. And you know you must go back and read

  485. the drama. I won't tell you the drama that happened. He kind of

  486. died at the end, Okay, very dramatic, very dramatic. He died.

  487. Uh. And but guess what. Something's very interesting to me that I

  488. read it this time was do you know that on the thin day of the

  489. twelve month, because for example, or just say December for the sake of

  490. relevance, December the thirteen, the King's decree still stands, meaning all the

  491. enemies of the Jewish peaper can still go and kill so huw How now shall

  492. I reveal to you what happens? Oh? May you go better read it?

  493. Spoiler spoiler, Okay, let's go with the spoiler. What happened was

  494. the King said, whatever I say, it cannot be reoked, right,

  495. King's word. But he says instead, what I'm going to give you Esther

  496. and Mordecai is I will give you you can write a new decree. Ah,

  497. clever, clever. Right, it's so interesting. He's like, I

  498. cannot reverse that because that's the king's decree. But now you write a decree,

  499. a new decree that can supersede the old one. Do you know how

  500. God? You know, in many sense of the word, right, the

  501. old Covenant is replaced with a new the old things of the old Testament,

  502. right, God brings a newness to it in a new Testament. Right.

  503. And so what happens was the new degree was written. And so now what

  504. happens in December to thirteen. All the Jewish people they can gather together and

  505. they can protect themselves and their families and kill all those who try to kill

  506. them. Yeah, so that's what happened. And they killed seventy five thousand

  507. of them, right, great massacred. I know something. You're like thinking,

  508. there's killing in the Bible. Yes, there is, yeah, very

  509. real, very real. And so and of course Mordecai was I want to

  510. read to you this part which is very very important, right, and this

  511. is the final point that all may know. Let's go back to read chapter

  512. six, verse no No Esther, chapter eight Esther Chapter eight Okay, verse

  513. seventeen, that when Mordecai was then promoted, Haman was killed already. This

  514. is what happened in as S chapter eight, verse seventeen. And he says

  515. this, And in every province and city wherever the king's command and decree came,

  516. the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday, a

  517. holiday in the midst of all this drama go holiday. Then many of the

  518. people of the land became Jews because fear of the Jews fell upon them.

  519. Amen. Do you know that ultimately in everything that has happened, God's plan

  520. was that all the people would know that the God of the Jews is real.

  521. He is the one God, and he is a real and living God.

  522. Amen. And that is what it means for us as a church as

  523. well. What does it mean that all may know that all may know that

  524. our God works, Our God is real. Right, you know, through

  525. all the drama and all the plots, right, we can see God's hand

  526. And that is all they need to know. Whether they accept Jesus or not,

  527. that is their choice. But our role is to proclaim that our God

  528. is the one who says, our God is the one who heals. Our

  529. God is the one that provides. Our God is the one that breaks true

  530. the impossible. Our God is the one that turns impossible situations into possible situations.

  531. Amen, do you get that? We hope you've been blessed by this

  532. message. For more information on our church, please visit as church org.
