You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

will light up your day. So the common team, as you can tell,

in the Bible, just like how I just started a story with an

ordinary person doing some things that God enables to do, is similar. The

Bible are filled with a lot of characters, right, and some of them

we call them the Bible grades. And if you look at all their background,

they start off with this not so fancy. They're not like the typical

leaders and things or other ability to do certain things. Then they are called

to do what they're called to do. They are just ordinary people. They

struggle, they suffer, they're tall, they wrestle, And this is the

common team in the Bible. If you've read the Bible for quite some time.

But one thing I wanted to bring forth today is perhaps how these Bible

characters, and you know, the different ones who have done, uh successfully

done certain things within ministry or true obedience. It's really just boils down to

what I call, uh some key ingredients. And I hope you allow me

to walk you through uh these few ingredients and and and yeah, even as

you're walking through confusion wondering what you're doing and sometimes even chaos. These four

key ingredients hopefully will give you some piece as you go to and you can

tackle it because sometimes when you have clarity of mind, have that piece,

you take things a bit differently. If you're a bit gunshown kind, you

know, like every time so like crisis, you know, you go into

that mode, nothing really gets done. Okay, So I've I put up

a slide, ah for a slide thank you any very hungry you're fasting right

for versier but versier Okay, So you like to take notes and all that.

Today my title of message is really proclaimed that I'm able, so that

all may know. Of course you know this CS team is so that all

may know and it will make a bit more sense at the end of this

uh message. Okay, But what I'm going to be sharing because I use

the word recipe right, because it's to do food purposely photo there on the

torture myself and your together collectively in this together right utun. But yeah,

hopefully this a lot some of these victories that we talked about in different Bible

characters and also allow you more importantly to lift out your full purpose that God

has intended. Okay, And everybody has got a different purpose, right,

and uh, and and and and and again. The good thing about this,

these four ingredients I'm going to be talking about, it is not really

dependent upon how good you are at any particular thing. So basically, if

you need, if you have coursum zero nothing even have negative. If there's

is that option to have ill equipped with the negative, you apply these for

you would succeed. Okay. Now, the first one I'm going to mention

is is ability. Oh sorry, availability rather Okay, as I mentioned to

you, this guy here just put up his hand, don't know what he's

doing. Never started church before. I was serving in the church for about

nine over years and then got called to plant the church. Never done this

before. I've never been to planting church one oh one. Okay, just

did it because felt God calling us and stepping out of faith and out of

obedience. Okay. And so that that's the first ingredient. Really, the

availability is your first ability that you can tap into, because no matter what

abilities you have, if you don't say yes or don't respond to that,

nothing gets done right. It can be the best in whatever areas. But

so long you say you put your hand down, you say no, even

though of course this fear and all that you don't want to do it,

I think it's done right. So really the best ability is the availability.

Now this is actually taken from Isaiah. It says here, Isaiah say it,

whom shall I send? Who will go with us? Because people know

Isaiah is saying here, I am send me, okay, So the Lord

is really looking for people that firstly are willing. Of course, availability is

also available is one thing, and I think most of us are available.

You can't be too busy that you can't be available. If you're too busy

that you're not available, then I think it's also check to see what is

actually taking up time and occupying a space, right, Because we're called to

tithe, right the ten percent? You know that that simple principle. How

much of your time are you tithing to do God's work? If you're twenty

four hours, that translates to how much how many hours? Two points?

Do it? A half a day? Right? So coming to church is

only a small fraction, okay, So hopefully you can do more than that.

And yeah, so are you available? Are you willing? Even if

you look at the disciples, right, they didn't like I said earlier.

They didn't pick a bunch of well educated people. You look at Jesus,

he picked unedicated people. Fishermen later became fishes of men. Right. They

have text collectors, they have even Christian slayers, right, Paul, Saul,

you know the background those that, like I said, these are the

negatives, I call them, you know, like the extreme end of the

spectrum also got called. But they were willing. So as I reflect on

this, it really is just you saying yes. Let me just take a

pause from this. I will tell you a little story. Now. My

mother in law is an amazing chef cook okay, but one of the abilities

not so much just the color and Benny my nor my mother in law anyway,

it's not just the culinary skills expertise, but really she has the ability

to take something from nothing and make something out of it kind of a thing.

So you know I've ever done this. I look at the fridge.

You cook whatever is left in the fridge. Whenever I open my fridge,

I look at it, I'm like, oh man, I tell my wife

Jess, I think we need to go and have a meal because looking at

that I can't see anything from it. So my mother in law. We

had the blessing of having her with us in Australia for a period where it

just was pregnant. Okay, we don't have any of this what do you

call it confinement stuff, so we flew out a lot over to support us

a little bit. But you know, every time she looks true that she

looks at the I look at the ingredients. I'm like, I'd rather go

out and buy something or just cook instant noodles or whatever. But she looked

at the same ingredients and somehow, of course look at the same grass and

then produces something spectacular from it. So the first photo that I put up

there is a person opening up fridge. So of course I'm not saying my

mother in law is God. But God can really do the do a lot

with our quote unquote little because it's all a perspective, right, God can

really turn any situation from the small to something even more amazing for the good

and also the glory. Right and and and I think I mean some we

may be blessed with very good talented wives or even husbands and parents who can

do this, but I'm not that kind. Uh. And what I'm trying

to say here is that. Of course, firstly, God can do one

of this right, just be available trust him. I don't know how popular

Master Chef is here, but I put up another slide here. It was

very popular in Australia. I was glued to the TV almost every other day.

But yeah, you know, as I mentioned to you, the fridge,

try I open it, I see the things right, I cannot do

anything with it. But even biblically right, even things that are lifeless,

that are dead, God can turn it around and give life to it.

That's how powerful our God is. So what I'm trying to say here,

bottom line is just leave it to the professional. Let got cook, Okay,

you just have to avail yourself. You produce what ingredients you have,

the little that you have, and allow him to the chef to do his

or her work. And believing or if you do, is just believe that

he's preparing something good. Trust him. Sometimes again even using the cooking energy

that you go through different treatments, et cetera. It's okay, It's part

and parcel of the process. Now, the main story I'm going to be

covering today is actually coming from First Samuel Okay, chapter fourteen. So if

you've got your bibles, can you turn to First Samuel's going to start.

There's just an introduction to what I have to share. How much have I

given a sorry? H no, no, no no, it's long.

Cannot can As long as you stay till very late, I suppose wrap up.

Let me know. Okay. In the meantime, we're going to First

Samuel chapter fourteen. Okay, Uh, this is just to give you a

bit background. This is Jonathan. If you do not know who Jonathan is?

Eleven eleven, okay, half an hour, okay, brilliant, I'll

try my best, okay, Samuel, Sorry, Jonathan, son of Saul.

Of course, Saul in this story is the current king back then in

that story, right, so Jonathan was his son, and Jonathan, obviously,

being the son of the current king, would then be the future king

naturally, right if you if you know, this style of chronology is very

normal, very typical. Uh. But but of course, fast forward,

we also know that the real the future king wasn't actually Jonathan, right,

who was the next king? David? R King? David? I think

all of us I for the king David. If you haven't come and talk

to me, I'll introduce you to David. Okay, now, but one

of the things that draw from this story is actually the secret ingredients that we

talked about that made him successful in what he does. In fact, he

won battles even though he was totally outnumbered. Okay, and we'll read a

little bit about this. But again, Jonathan, he's the oldest son.

He's also very faithful, I can tell you that, right, He's so

faithful, so loyal to the cause. It means to God's cause that eventually

he also gave up his throne and allowed someone else who got appointed to take

over that role. That's how passionate Jonathan is towards the cause that God has

caused us to be. Okay, and fun fact, you know saw the

king the current king. Also, I mean these two Jonathan and David are

tied right there. Friends, but the father actually tried to kill David multiple

times. Have filled multiple times. Right, So it's a very funny kind

of history. You know, imagine you and your best friend, but your

dad is trying to kill him. That kind of analogy. Okay, it's

very strange. But you know this, this Jonathan and David, they are

so closely knitted that they're willing to do each other. And he was even

giving his armor over to David, and that's also symbolic of uh, you

know, giving that that king ship to David. Again, I'm not gonna

cover that portion, but just give you a background story of who this person

is. Okay. Now back to First Samuel, chapter fourteen, verse one.

It says here the Philistines and the Israelites were actually rivals right at this

point in time. So if you look at this Israelite, the Israelites had

actually taken and won a small battle in this space. Okay. So you

look at verse one. One day Jonathan, son of Saul, said to

his young armor bearer, come, let's go to the Philistine outposts on the

other side. But he did not tell his father. He just did what

he did. Okay, Saul, this is the king. Saul was staying

on the outskirts of Gibea, Okay, under the promagonate tree in Mikron.

With him were six hundred men, among whom were Ahija, who was wearing

an effort and he and he was the son of Ikabot's brother Ahitu, son

of Phinia Has Okay, the son of Eli. The priests of Shiloh.

Uh. No one was aware that Jonathan left on the other side before that.

If you anybody expecting kids, if you want kids' names, I think

you can cause skating skin just move on. Uh. And I was really

there, like, well, this is an amazing name. On the other

side of the past that Johnathan intended to cross to reach the Philistine outpost was

a cliff. One was called Bozz and the other was Senne. One cliff

stood to the north toward McK mesh and the other to the south of Gheba.

Okay, so of course this was a battle. Uh. And if

you look at this context, right, they were actually ill equipped to the

next tent. They were outnumbered. They didn't have quite the equipment that they

needed to win the battle, although they won the previous battle. And funnily

enough, the father is elsewhere with an army, but they weren't there to

help them. Okay, but he and his young armabara. You know,

a young what an armor bearer is right? Literally your sidekicker, yo yo,

the one that is going to be fitting you with the armor. That's

why it's called armor bearer. Right. But you know he's sharing this thing.

He's going with this armor bearer, and he said he didn't even tell

his father. So what I'm trying to also quickly mention here is that you

know, God has given him some big dreams, but funnily enough, he's

just sharing it with his armor bearer, just very quickly. Sometimes God deposits

something in your life, a dream, a purpose, but sometimes we are

to also be very careful with who we share this with, right, because

if you share the wrong person, the dreams could be crushed to this the

next time. But of course this armor bearer is fantastic because obviously he shared

God's stream. If the arma bera, this is the right person. But

that's just a sight thing I wanted to mention. But the heart of this

armor bearer is what we want to focus on. Okay, let's move on.

Okay, there was already not an easy mission, as we can tell.

Okay, there were only two people in this story, all right,

who Jonathan and his armor bearer. They were also taking a ground to fight

about twenty to twenty five people, so one to ten ratio, like if

you want to do the math. Okay, not an easy mission. Everybody

facing changes doing missions before. It's usually the case, right is always never

comfortable, never too easy. If it is, then it's not really missions

right and to make things worse, right, they in this story, right,

they had to fight an uphill batter, literally uphill. So I've got

this next slide of someone pushing a uphill Ever tried pushing something uphill before?

It's not fun. Depending on the gradient, yeah, but either way,

as long as a little bit gradient as well, you pushed. Depending on

this as well, you'll be very tired. But this is exactly what they

feel. They were downhill. They were fighting uphill battle. Okay, so

if you do not believe me, let's just look at this this portion of

Scripture six to twelve. Next slide. Okay, Jonathan said to his young

Armaba, come let us go to the outposts of these uncircumcised men. Perhaps

the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saying,

whether by many or by few, do all of you have, sorry,

do all that you have in mind, said Armabara. Let me say,

I support you, brother, go for it, right go ahead.

I am with you, heart and soul. So again, contexts already uphill

battle. But this guy right is the best side kick that you ever want

to take to an uphill battle because you say that just go as long as

God is there, we would go. So of course, if you look

take a step back a little bit. God calls us sometimes to do inconvenient

things because of course there is opportunity for growth, that's one thing. But

if we are so concerned about the uphill, or we focus on the uphills,

sometimes our full purpose may not be fully released. So please hang around

your cool armor bearers that is always there to row. Are you okay?

Because if you look at this scripture as well, I highlighted the blue part

up there. No, it says there perhaps the Lord will act. So

God didn't even promise him a good outcome, but he was still willing to

move on and go on with what it's called to do. I mean sometimes

when we when we uh not say a bout the trip, but when we

talk to God, we're like God, if you do this, if you

if you help me pass my exams, I will do this for you.

You know, you know those kind of things right. You will always want

something one or one got to dangle something so that I will take that step

forward of obedience. But this guy is saying that God, if you call

me to move forward. I will move forward even though I don't know the

outcome. If I win or lose later you read about it, I will

still move forward. Okay, this is the type of thing that we we

are we are looking at. Maybe he will maybe not. He will not,

but his faith is not affected. Faith really is just That's exactly what

faith is, right, Faith is stepping into something of the unknown, regardless

of the outcome. You're stepping forward. Okay, because having the arm embarrassing,

I'm with you. I will go to battle with you. That is

That is good because these are the people that you need to surround yourself with,

right people that would be able to support you. These are the core

people that will be able to battle with you and pray for you and be

alongside to stand by you through any storms of life. Okay, I am

with you heart and soul physically already, the heart and soul so given to

you. Sound like a love story, but no it's not. Okay,

Now let's come back to words eight. So Jonathan says, here, come

on, when we cross over towards them, let them see us. If

they say to us, wait wait there until we come, we will stay

where we are and not go up to them. But they say come up

to us, we will climb up because that will be our sign that the

Lord has given them to our hands. Okay, So if you look at

this, Jonathan was not just ill equipped, he was also open hearted in

that sense, He's willing to allow God to move in whichever direction he pleases.

God pleases, right, So he's trying to declare here, either way

God will do something, and either way I will still choose to for I

should trust you. Now Again, it's not easy, you know, you

think itself in the battle usually involves losing lives even right, Sometimes I think

we're called to do certain things. Right, it's not life and deathlight in

a sense, you wouldn't die in the process, at least not in where

we are in Malaysia. Okay. But sometimes there are people who are called

to do certain things. It involves life and death. And this is one

of those life and death cases. And as I mentioned earlier, the promise

is not even clear. But we believe that you will bring victory no matter

what. Is what he's trying to say here. Okay, why because he

says Lord has given them to our hands, So regardless of the outcome.

Father, I will just trust you. Now. Why is this important is

because I have this next light over here. Uh. And there's this famous

saying by this guy called Andy Stanley saying, using this remark that marry the

mission and date the model. Okay, of course it's a player words there.

Dating the model is not the supermodel that we normally think about. This

is the model as in the steps or the plan to achieve the mission.

Okay. What they mean by mary or this guys mean by marry the mission

is because the mission doesn't change. Right. God's mission for you or the

vision for you, when he's told you or he's shared with you that the

mission and vision will not change. Sometimes along the way the model or the

plans change a little bit. But sometimes as the plan changes, we're like,

oh man, God, are you still in this? And sometimes you

wrestle? Right, So, next light, What I'm trying to say is

that it's okay to make adjustments because the model really is the how. That's

not the most important thing, the how. Like I said, God will

still like what this story they read earlier, Right, God still would do

Glorious still come, Victorias still come, regardless of the house. So he's

even saying win or lose, So glorious still come. That's how amazing Jonathan

is. Okay, it's okay to make adjustments. Now. I remember training

twenty, the eraror or we just wiped out our eyes wiped out from a

head T twenty, you know, the pandemic year. All right, we

still survive, right, God still, you know, made a way for

us to do. I mean, of course, we do things a bit

differently. Back then, church was a little bit different. There were online

services. There were you know, one one moment we can meet and we

cannot. Mean you know, we were broadcasting from warehouses, et cetera,

et cetera. And then one when we go to DCC we got to scan,

et cetera. All those are again the model, the mission doesn't change.

Okay, it is okay whether you go out in the park or go

out go indoors. You know, God will still be faithful. God still

it is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. All right. So the

reason why I put that ring earlier, can you go back the ring earlier,

is because this is a symbolic symbol of marriage, because that's the covenant,

God's that's why you marry the mission. Right, when you marry into

something, it's a covenant that you will never be broken. The mission will

never be broken. God will not change the mission. If you look very

carefully, you study very carefully, right, the mission doesn't change. So

this is why. So the mission is the why, and why we do

things is governed by the mission. So don't worry about the house too much,

and don't be too disappointed. If I get a chance to come back.

I'll talk about disappointment and all that next time. But I guess you

just just focus on the mission in hand. Nextight, the rocket. I

love this this, John C. Maxwell. Okay, failed plans should not

be interpreted as film vision. Sorry, vision don't change. They are only

refined. Okay. Plans rarely stay the same and are scrapped or adjusted as

needed. Okay, So again, like I said earlier, all our journey

moving coming back right, there's a lot changes. So I know when we

are already sat in place, Like I said, thirteen years living there by

the way when I came, I don't have a text number here, you

know, I don't have EPF or whatever here. That's how long I've been

away from Malaysia, and I still have my some some of my EPF there

as well. So what I'm trying to say is that things are already said.

Change plan changes is fine as long as the vision remains the same.

Okay, be stubborn about the vision, so God the vision, just like

how you got a marriage. Okay, but be flexible with the plan.

That's what famous words from John C. Maxwell. So back to Jonathan,

okay, and it's Alma bear. They were just focused and wanted to give

God the glory, wanted to glorify God. That was their ultimate purpose and

that should be our mission here as well as in the church. We want

to invite people to receive that freedom, that life that Jesus have to offer

to help people believe. You remember that motto we have in ex church,

right, and that's why we do our vision. Then that's why we are

also wanting to ensure that all may know. Right, we want people to

experience God, the love of God. We want people to walk in the

full purposes and the promises that God has intended for them. Everybody's purpose and

it's a bit unique and refined for you. We want this also for the

future generation. Okay. We want to proclaim it. As I mentioned,

it is so that all may know, right remember when Sorry, let's move

on to Worst twelve. And realizing what much time left West twelve, the

man on the outpost sheltered to Jonathan and his armor bearer. Come up to

us, and we'll teach you lessons. So Jonathan said to the armor bearer,

climb up after me. The Lord has given them into the hand of

Israel. So Johnathan climb up with his hands and feet, and with his

armor bearer right behind him. The Philistines fell before Jonathan, and Almabara followed

killed behind him. In that first attack, Jonathan and his armor bearer killed

about twenty twenty five minutes you read about it, Okay, So what I'm

trying to say is that next slide not everything, but this will do.

Okay. What does this mean is that I may not have the best,

just how initially I tell you the friture, It may have the best,

but allow God as long as you're willing, all I have is sufficient.

Nothing is too small for God to use. In fact, if it's small,

you know God is in the picture because you could never do it on

your own. Like I said, I use my Mom as an example,

because again I can never visualize what she can, but she can really just

do something amazing with the leftovers that we have. So yeah, they weren't

uh, they weren't the best uh in that sense, the best equipped,

but they had the ability and they were willing to to to do so.

Uh. You know, Saul had six hundred men far far away as you

read earlier, but they weren't available or they weren't availing themselves. So they

just went with all they had, the little that they had, and trusted

that God will still bring victory. Okay, so this is hopefully something that

you picked up from here. Okay, now let's go the Worst twenty three

and this is going to be roughly closing to the end before I wrap up

a little bit. Okay, Worse twenty three. So on that day,

the Lord's saved Israel and the battle moved beyond death even Okay, so what

why why are we skipped to this? Is because this is the outcome.

So we know that he won even though they were outnumbered. But it's beyond

just that small battle. You know, there is also victory beyond that space.

I mean to say, there's impact whatever you do the victories that you

gain. Even though it looks small and localize, there is there are going

to be ripple effects that sometimes you don't see. Okay, I'm just gonna

take this pause here for a while. Maybe I got time for a video.

I'm going to invite Pastor Maximus to share a little bit and I'll come

back in a minute. All right, hyeah, h con you m hmm.

Okay, so just put it on the next slide. I don't know

they heard the last bit. Put this slide up so you can what he

said was what we do in life at cose in eternity. I noticed,

like you know this, Hollywood, but you know they of course the verse,

the core verse that you know, sort of inspired that particular statement.

It comes from Psalms. Right, whatever you do has a report effect into

internity. Right. So again I invited past Maximus because you know, people

would normally remember these things better, and Hollywood usually put all the Hollywood does

to it and it looks so amazing. But this is exactly what it is.

How you live today, how you act today, right, will determine

some of the blessings. Okay, that will go beyond yourself, your family,

your circle, your sphere, the strongholds within the generations after you,

even or even before you can be broken as long as you do what you're

called to do. So the impact is really beyond yourself. Sometimes you always

feel that when you're in that picture you do orso hard I obey. When

you have and you obey, they will be report effects as well. Just

like what he said, what you do in life at close of eternity,

So all of us here, I'm a parent, I always want to leave

a legacy, and the legacy on leave my kids is just what I do.

And if it's something that they can learn, it's really just to be

obedient. Okay, Now just summarize, because I think it's the best way

to do it. I'm going to put in the key ingredients that I mentioned

to you. Firstly, as I mentioned many times already, it's availability.

The best ability is availability. So the story of in First Samuel here,

I believe, talks about just simply being available no matter what. Like I

said, whatever you're equipped with the moment you do not avail yourself, no

use lut it's like the yeah, it's like the it's okay. It's like

the thing that is actually in the fridge underutilized or under not not maximize.

Okay, so they may not have the best resources, but they didn't have

the perfect life even but they were still willing because God caught them to do

what they are called to do. Okay. So firstly is really being willing

being open to what God calls you to do. Second thing is break breakthrough.

I explained a bit about what breakthrough actually means. You know, Jonathan,

he's got a not so good history in the form of his dad,

right he. I mean, of course his dad was amazing at the beginning,

but Jona's father was a bitter man. He was resentful. He was

a bit prideful as well. He got a bit jealous. I think last

night I came here, I said about Saul and Mike. I can't remember,

but you know, he was bit jealous. People were singing that,

you know, Saul killed how many thousands and then David killed ten thousands and

that song and how can this be so? But Jonathan didn't want to let

that. Let's just use the term generation generational curse limit him And sometimes we

live like that, right, we're saying, oh uh, this is what

my family has always been like that and therefore my destiny is whatever the lineage

that I used to carry for generations. I've seen depression within my family,

and therefore I accept the fact that depression will continue on from here on.

I've seen divorces in my family, and therefore this is how I would approach

marriage. I've seen disappointments within my history before me, and therefore this is

the way that's going to Know, you have to break that chain. You

have to pray for that breakthrough because this cycle is not meant to continue.

But you have to take that step of faith and obedience to break that cycle.

And this is what I meant by breakthrough, acknowledging the past hurds.

Yes, but you are in control to break that cycle, all right.

Just like how we're seeing this story here, Jonathan didn't want to allow that

to continue. He wanted to break that cycle, even if it means him

not taking the throne. I want to break that cycle. I want to

be remembered for different things rather than to carry on what the generational curse is

upon his family. So will you be that somebody to break that cycle?

It might be your You know, you're the first generation into into God's family.

Break that cycle, it can happen. Let's just read from Second Corinthians

chapter nine through to ten. But I say to me, my grace is

sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I

will boast of all sorry, all the more gladly about my weakness, so

that christ power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake,

I didlight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions,

in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. I

guess most of us i've heard this verse before. It's very nice to put

out on the wall or your desktop wallpaper, et cetera. But more importantly,

as I've highlighted there, God's grace is more than sufficient. His power

is made perfect in our weakness. So whenever you feel weak, it's okay,

right, because at that position is when the prerequisite for you to be

strong. Okay, So break breakthrough, acknowledge him you bring, and then

use work with him to break through. Thirdly, love, of course,

when I say love here, it's not your We know we cook with love

right hopefully yeah, because the outcome engreace me the same, technicue the same,

But the outcome can be very different when you apply your love here.

But of course here it's not talking about like like, uh, you know,

spouse love and all that thing. It's talking about God's love here.

You need to apply God's love in your cooking, right, allow God.

I mean those of you who are maybe married, remember the early times on

your dating, right, you do silly things for your spouse or back then

before you were married. Right, Hopefully you still do silly things today because

of love. But that's exactly what it is when you're in love, right,

You're the things that you do is very different. So if you've lost

that love for God, maybe that's so why sometimes you may not be as

obedient in what God has called you to do because not so much of the

ability, but more that first love is already missing. Okay, So rekindle

that lorve okay, because yeah, you need to put God where it's supposed

to be, walk in love and then victories would come. Okay. You

see, Jonathan wasn't worried about titles, as I mentioned earlier. He was

not. The perspective for him is really as long as God is triumphant,

and we can replace the titles with other things money, desire for power,

you know, promotion, material things I've shared earlier that I gave up what

worthy people think a lot to return, you know, straight away the salaries

like the Wde Tree bedtime was thevide two points something. But you know it's

it's still a reduction. But it's okay as long as you walk in love

because the thing that feels really God's love. I'm not saying that, you

know, this is the model to go with, but it's easier to explain

to Christians why we came back to Malaysia than to regular worthy people. Right,

so we usually say we miss family, we miss the food kind of

think, but it's really really God's love. That's the third ingredient. Well,

extreme, I'm gonna invite extreme up. I'm gonna just be sharing my

last point. The last point is emptying yourself. Okay, this one is

very negative in a sense because sometimes emptying means you run on films, right,

But no, what I'm trying to say here, I know how how

sometimes when you drive cars and you go on closer to the E than you

feel, like, right, anxiety range, anxiety and all that, But

no, it's not it's not so much that. Let me explain. When

I was younger, I used to train. I used to play water polo,

by the way, competitively. Uh. So I trained with the Selego

team long time ago. Okay, long time ago. Uh. And part

and parcel of that training, right is that we do drills. Uh.

And I hate drills because why you know, when you swim, there's nothing

you can do. You can't sing, you can't I mean, you can't

listen to music, not like you can put your phones and all that,

so you just can hum in your head. Right. So it's a very

boring process, but it's part of the process of light, you know,

developing yourself in the sporting sense. So me and my different group mats because

we do in the day in, day out, day and day out.

We always swam, if you know you do, like say ten laps,

we swam and left a little bit at the end to finish off. Mean

to say, I'll give my fifty percent, my sixty percent, seventy percent,

knowing that I've got twenty laps to go for whatever it is. Okay,

I can't remember why, but why should we do that? Why should

we leave a little bit? Because if you leave, if you hold back

a little bit. Yes, we are storing for greater things. But at

the same time, if you're not fully unleashing yourself. You know you're from

a sporting you don't grow as much as the training is meant to do for

you. Right, So my encouragement to you is not to, like I

said, over tire yourself. By the same time, there's a principle of

emptying yourself so that God is able to step in and fill you up.

Okay, Why because if you just continue to receive blessing sometimes you let that

give a bit, then you're like God, I want more, I want

more, to do more, but you'll need giving a bit to feel.

So try this. Finish what you have first, ask God to fill you

up because you will never leave you cos you'll always have some resolves to give

you. But we need to give our best, is what I'm trying to

say here. So when you give fifty percent five percent, how can you

expect one hundred percent blessing in return? It's another way to put it.

Okay, So empty yourself. Like I say, it's not dirty word,

it's so there. You fully commit fully give God and allow God to feel

you. And you know he'll feel you. He'll constantly feel you up so

that you can be a blessing to others. Right Philippines to seven seventeen.

Here do I have it? I don't remember where I have it. Okay,

I do have it, fantastic. But even if I'm poured out like

a drink offering on the sacrifice and the service coming from your faith, I'm

glad and rejoice with you all. So that's the kind of joy that we

hope you have as you quote unquote empty yourself. Mt yourself is not meant

to make you feel bad. You're meant to rejoice and be glad because why

God is able to fill you out. So this is just a simple four

points. And if you do not already catch it already coming back to this,

the four acronyms or the four alphabets up there spells able, but puts

the false in there the first the last. Ending yourself is like a bit

for us. But that's how we can proclaim God is able, because these

are things that come true from Him. It's not us right so to proclaim

that I am able with God in the picture, so that all may know.

So where are we today? Have we come to a point that we

feel exhausted. Are we prioritizing other things in life that we are not giving

God what he calls us to give. I think this is a reflection that

we should have for you know where you are. Have you stepped up to

serve when God has called you to serve? Are you available to God when
