  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. So what is the good news? The good

  3. news is Jesus came to this earth to die for our sins. He fulfilled

  4. the law and redeemed us from sin and the penalty of sin, which is

  5. death, so that we can have eternal life and become sons and daughters of

  6. God and heirs to the King of God. Do you know how significant that

  7. is? You know what an error is? Do you know what inheritance is?

  8. Right now, I'm ready at the age where I have to take care

  9. of my parents were aging, right, and I'm learning all these things myself.

  10. For will I must do this? You know, I'm thinking about my

  11. kids. You know, when you inherit something values for example, Okay,

  12. you don't even wait for your parents to go before he inherit this. You

  13. know, we all inherit something from our parents, the values we have.

  14. We all inherit things from church. Right. If I tell you today,

  15. Jesus can heal that is something you inherit by being a son and a daughter

  16. of God. Because we believe in that and we practice it, and it

  17. happens isn't that power? Right? So that is the good news. The

  18. good news is the story of redemption from sin and from evil, because if

  19. we continue in this path that we are going, then we will end up

  20. in sin and dying basil. I mean, how can you curse me?

  21. I'm not consing you, guys. I'm just telling you what is going to

  22. happen if I continue in the path of not exercising, not eating right,

  23. not controlling my diet. Now, I cut all sugar every time. Last

  24. time, I tell you, I only order say I stay tarted. That's

  25. the only two things I order. Don't even go rung money strong. Now

  26. my drinks is stay or ice cosme cut sugar, cut cops rice. I

  27. will go double cut right. Hey, I'm a foodie, guys. Just

  28. to let you know this, that's why I ended up so big last time.

  29. I'm still big. I need you lose more. Right If I don't

  30. do this, no wonder, So don't wonder. Look at what is happening

  31. right now. Take stock of your life. Ask God to come and help

  32. you if you can't do it yourself. Again, some of us here will

  33. be in situations. It's difficult, I understand, But the church is here.

  34. We are here, we are here to support and it doesn't take change

  35. in a day. Right. Sorry, I use a lot of gym examples

  36. because that's relevant to me. Now, I hope you catch it right.

  37. The goal was to you know, lose weight, exercise every day. But

  38. I had to start somewhere. So I started with once a week, go

  39. gym at least once a week, okay, at least, and then I

  40. was able to heat it consistently. Now I'm at three times a week consistently.

  41. I am trying my best now to do two things. Cut my food

  42. and do every day. That is my goal. Yesterday I feel the day

  43. before I fail. Yeah, I feel as well yesterday I want to do.

  44. I wear everything at it, I sit down, I watch the tavy,

  45. the cush is very nice, and I'm like, oh, I took

  46. wake up early for extras. It's okay, it's okay, we feel But

  47. tomorrow Monday, I will go, Jim. I tell your first. Okay,

  48. why I'm using your as my accountability. But now because you don't see

  49. me post up Jim tomorrow, surely no text me past I thought you said

  50. going Jim, and I feel bad, right, So I'm using, guys.

  51. So because of that, I'm like, okay, I better go.

  52. So it is a story of redemption from sin and from evil, right,

  53. that is? That is the gospel. Do we believe in the gospel?

  54. Do we know the gospel? Do we understand the gospel? Do we understand

  55. the application of the Gospel in our life? Do you know that by being

  56. a believer today you can you can call upon Jesus praise God. You don't

  57. have to do it for me. Oh no, we must come, you

  58. know, shake some bells or something like that, and then Jesus. No,

  59. no, no, guys, you can call upon the Lord. Because

  60. of what Jesus did on the cross. You can call on the Lord.

  61. Right, that's why, just now, when we pray, we are confident

  62. when we say in Jesus name, everybody here, can you know, claim

  63. the name of Jesus. You don't have to be extra holy, No,

  64. guys, the moment you say, the moment you believe, it shall be

  65. done. Now, of course God will do it, not us are.

  66. So it doesn't happen, don't feel bad. Ask God, God, why

  67. haven't happened yet? He has a responsibility, not us. Amen, So

  68. what happened let's talk about except one. Okay, I just go back a

  69. little bit more understanding. Okay, you guys, okay, and you see

  70. the timing. I haven't did what time? Better time me? I don't

  71. want to go world around that. Okay, about twenty minutes. Okay,

  72. I'll try how fast I can do this, you guys, Okay, So

  73. except one? What happened? Let's read a little bit the former account I

  74. made Otiophyllus of all that Jesus began both to do and teach until the day

  75. in which he was taken up. After he threw the Holy Spirit, had

  76. given commandments to the apostles, whom he had chosen, to whom he also

  77. presented himself alive. After he's suffering by many infollible pros, being seen by

  78. them, doing forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the King of

  79. God. Okay, we're gonna pause there a little bit. So the Book

  80. of X is right after the foreg Ostwels. So guys, homo, go

  81. and read the foregoust Wars. Understand who is by Jesus, What does he

  82. do? What does he believe in? Not going read a little bit,

  83. I'm not asking you to, oh, going no, no, guys,

  84. read a little bit. Make a goal. Okay, By end of the

  85. year, I will finish the foregustwel oh, this go through Hartler. By

  86. end of the year, I have finished one of the foreg Ostel can make

  87. a goal. Read yourself. Don't understand as for the GLORYA bring her more

  88. to do or anyone else? The leaders here right? Hey, do you

  89. know that God so good? Jesus so good? Do you just read?

  90. Why? I just read how long was Jesus around after he rose from the

  91. day? Why? Ah? Did you realize that? When I read it,

  92. I'm like, huh, Why why was Jesus round for forty days?

  93. Oh? Because he fastered for forty days? Forty days to preach guys,

  94. guys, guys. And then there's another one here. He also presented himself

  95. alive after he's suffering, right by many infollible pros. Do you know what

  96. that means? In vollible prose is a very fancy way to say, you

  97. cannot say black one. He was around forty days to prove to the people

  98. his disciples, and he only revealed himself to the disciples. Don't not just

  99. that Jesus is so normal looking that when he was with two of the disciples

  100. in the row of Amias, they couldn't even recognize who he is. Imagine

  101. that, I'm sure you can recognize past Gloria, right, I'm sure they

  102. couldn't recognize who Jesus is. And then little, huh could he be Jesus

  103. because the the Bible says he does have a really normal looking face, you

  104. know, but he was around for forty days? Now why to prove to

  105. all of us that he rose from the date that was the I believe was

  106. one of the only reason why. Then after that, now he went to

  107. Heaven ready, you know, do you know what I say? God?

  108. It's good. Sometimes we can come to a place where we don't believe,

  109. but God will make it impossible for you to not believe. Well, actually

  110. it's still possible for us, but he will make it so obvious to us.

  111. That's why it's some nice I feel we need to open our eyes and

  112. see, Lord, are you here? Ask those questions? Right? He

  113. was around for how nice he is? He? You know, he was

  114. so nice to the disciple that he was around to show them, guys,

  115. I'm around. And then after that what happened He went up and being assembled

  116. together with them. He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but wait

  117. for the promise of the Father, which he said, you have fert from

  118. me. Guys, just to give you another perspective, you read the gospels,

  119. you realize that from the start until and now, Jesus constantly talking about

  120. I'm gonna die, that will come back, then the helper will come.

  121. And I'm here to say, you know, he saw all these like even

  122. the Roman sold just knew he was resurrected. Why did they put two soldiers

  123. in front of the toomb because they knew that he claimed that he was going

  124. to be resurrected, and they didn't want a civil unrest, so they made

  125. sure there was two Romans or just there to fight the disciples, because they

  126. think the disciples will be the one that will take his body and say,

  127. oh, he's alive. That's what happened. Political story quite interesting the Bible.

  128. But he rose from the day. Do you believe? That's why I

  129. say, eye witness account, right, do you believe? And he said,

  130. for John truly baptized your water, but you shall be baptized you the

  131. Holy Spirit, not many days from now. Therefore, when they had come

  132. together. They asked him, saying, Lord, will you, at this

  133. time before the kingdom of Israel restore the of Israel? And he said to

  134. them, it is not for you to know the times of seasons, which

  135. the Father has put in its own authority. But you shall receive power when

  136. the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me

  137. in Jerusalem and in all jude and Samaria to the end of the earth.

  138. Okay, So Jesus died the cross for white for all sins, right,

  139. then he resurrected. Why is the resurrection significant because he has overcome death.

  140. If he died like every manner, then why are we're celebrating him. We

  141. celebrate because he overcomes sin and death. Because of that, we are redeemed,

  142. meaning anything you do in your life, if you come to Jesus,

  143. you are clean. You can survive death. Okay. I'm not saying you

  144. cannot die. Okay, but you don't go to a spiritual death. Right,

  145. But Jesus left, He's not here anymore, No, guys, He's

  146. in heaven. Really, then, how when we sing we pray? When

  147. the spirit of Holy Spirit very significant? He said, I'm gonna go.

  148. So he's not here already he will come back. Okay, he'll come back.

  149. I think he's gonna come back very soon. Looka what's happening here.

  150. I'm like, oh, it's coming back quite soon. Ready, he's gonna

  151. come back. But who is with us here? Holy Spirit? Who is

  152. Holy Spirit, God's presence? So he left them and they say, I

  153. will come back. So you send it to heaven. Okay, but go

  154. to Jerusalem. Don't go anywhere, continue to wait, wait, and the

  155. Holy Spirit will come. And the Holy Spirit is here with us. That's

  156. why when you pray the suv Asian prayer, we're asking the Holy Spirit,

  157. whose Holy Spirit, God's presence, to come and to reside in us the

  158. Temple of the Holy Spirit, giving you understanding here? Why is it significant?

  159. The Holy Spirit? He is significant because if the Holy Spirit is not

  160. here, who are you praying to? No connection? Readly, guys,

  161. Jesus is not here? Really you know? Oh but God, well listen

  162. to me. Yeah, he will listen to you. But he will because

  163. the Holy Spirit is here. His presence is still here in the form of

  164. the Holy Spirit. What about God's wonderful Well, if you read the Bible,

  165. constantly. If God's like full magnificent presence come, we all dialer.

  166. That's what the Bible wrote. Okay. I won't go too deep into that.

  167. Okay, you can go to your own self study. But I just

  168. want to highlight the Holy Spirit, because Jesus said, you shall receive power

  169. when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to

  170. me in Jerusalem, in all Judaea and Samia, and to the end of

  171. the world and to the end of the earth. Right, That's why he

  172. said, So let's study a little bit about the Holy Spirit, okay x

  173. Chapter two, the coming of the Holy Spirit, giving you understanding again.

  174. When the day of the Pentagons had fully come, they were all in one

  175. account, in one place, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as

  176. of a rushing wind, and they feel the whole house where they were sitting.

  177. Then that appeared to them divided tongues, as a fire that once set

  178. upon each of them, and they all filled. They were all filled with

  179. the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them

  180. utterance. And they were dwelling in Jerusalem. Jews development from every nation under

  181. Heaven. Okay, And when this thing sound occurred, the multitude came together

  182. were confused because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were

  183. all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, look are not all these

  184. who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear in each our own

  185. language in which we were born passions and meats and elamites, those dwelling in

  186. Mesopotamia, Julia, Cappadocia, ponteus Asia. Continuously you hear different lands around

  187. it. Give you, give you a reference. So let's say Jerusalem,

  188. Malaysia. Right and during okay, why Pentecos. Pentecos is just a harvest

  189. celebration, So during Gauai and giving you some context. So let's say,

  190. Harry Gawai, we're having our own prayer service here, because that's what happened.

  191. They had a prayer service in the upper room, waiting for the Holy

  192. sp They were there every day, right, and they'll operate one hundred and

  193. twenty of them in the upper room. Upper room, you know, like

  194. whay or not imagine a shop lot absas okay, that's like the upper room,

  195. okay, not a nice fancy hotel like this and they were where they

  196. stayed, and they had a prayer meeting there. I don't want to ask

  197. this question. Why can I encourage you go for extras prayer meeting. Spiritual

  198. disciplining, guys, Oh, I mean just no, no, no,

  199. no, spiritual discipline, spiritual discipline. Right, if you can make it

  200. loud, if you can, then you know, find a way. But

  201. because the Holy Spirit came during a prayer service, during a prayer service,

  202. okay, so that's what happened. Holy speak came and then all these people

  203. that were around you imagine we were having like a big celebration here and people

  204. from all around, from Singapore, from Thailand, from Vietnam, you know,

  205. same different languages were born there, Jews that were born there, so

  206. they speak the local language, tie and all. And then they came to

  207. this place to have celebration. Now they didn't they didn't know about the upper

  208. room. But then they heard the big sound, no pra whatever, right,

  209. and then all they came to see what happened, right, and then

  210. they saw these men speaking in their own language, right, and what they

  211. were they saying, right, we hear them speaking in our own tongues.

  212. The wonderful works of God. So they were all amazed and perplexing to one

  213. another. Whatever could this mean? Others smocking said they were full of new

  214. wine. So that's what happened. They came and they heard in their own

  215. language, and they were amazed. And then they're like, aren't these Galileans?

  216. You know what Galileanans are known for? Fishermen? You know it's a

  217. fisherman, blue collar worker, not linguistsa not study masters are how can these

  218. blue collar fishermen know our language? They we're all amazed. It must be

  219. God. But some say they were drunk friends. You know, I learned

  220. from this passage. When you go out there and you talk to someone about

  221. Jesus, don't be surprised that someone will reject you. You will have people

  222. that say, wow, really Jesus, I'm amazed. And then you will

  223. have people that tell you you are drunk. So it is not you or

  224. the message or the messenger, it is whether they are ready to receive.

  225. Why are we afraid when you really know you're going to get two different responses?

  226. Shouldn't it be better that when we go out and we share, or

  227. when we invite people to church, we ask the Holy Spirit, Holy spirit.

  228. Can you tell me who's ready to receive it? Wouldn't it be better

  229. rather than scared? And don't us? And why do we do that?

  230. Because we believe in the good news. Hey, I receive Jesus. I

  231. think you need to. And if you're not convinced that you need to share

  232. it with someone in one way or another, then I don't think you fully

  233. experience the good news in your life or where strong with a passelving it's true

  234. when you really really experience it, like now I'm again, jim sorry and

  235. Jimma. Every time I got in turn, every time I got a new

  236. person come, they will join me in the gym because I will bug them,

  237. come comer today. Then when they don't come, I'll make them feel

  238. bad because it's a good habit that they can develop because I know it's good

  239. for them because it was good for me. No one when I was younger

  240. encouraged me that way, So I want to encourage other people. I want

  241. to when people feel like giving up, I know, I say, don't

  242. give up, let me I finish my set, but I'll do with you

  243. right, And then when they did, I can say, great, awesome

  244. job. We got to encourage people, you know, don't just keep it

  245. to ourselfs this faith that we have. Amen. So the Holy Spirit is

  246. significant to us. He is he is again, there are different thought process

  247. out there. Okay, I just want to go straight towards by bu Saila

  248. Jesus left, Holy Spirit Come, He's with me. Okay. When I

  249. receive Christ, God's presence and spirit is with me. Not just only in

  250. church. No, No, when I'm at home, he's with me.

  251. And because it's with me at home right in church, in different places,

  252. I can talk to him, I can engage him, I can ask him

  253. for advice. I can allow him to work in my life. It is

  254. not all the timer. Oh the sky opened and then no, no,

  255. no, not all the time like that one. Sometimes you experience divine moments

  256. in your life. You will trust me when you want in the Lord,

  257. trust me. You will have one. And then you're like, I'm so

  258. excited because in no way this is natural, because it's supernatural because you experience

  259. it. Right, That's how good God is to us. He is kind

  260. to us. Now, not just all you you know you holy monly got

  261. titled no no, no, every single one of his children He wants to

  262. talk to you. He wants to engage you. That is a wonderful thing.

  263. Who is influencing more us more in our life? Is it God or

  264. other things? We got to be very careful because the reality is that if

  265. we a lot other influencers, God's voice woill be softer because we allow other

  266. influencers to come. Amen. So what happened? He started with a Praymian

  267. thing in the upper room where they were staying. They all continued with prayer

  268. and supplication. They were united. So another key thing that I've read here

  269. is that everyone was united. Everyone understood the assignment. Everyone came together.

  270. Nobody here. I want to go home. Don't come like that. You

  271. so so strong again? Okay, I know, yeah, don't. Okay,

  272. I don't get past the Gloria problems. I'm a bit passion in PJR.

  273. I know who's baton. You can go listen to the MTG, the

  274. PJ you can take it. And they know me well. One hundred and

  275. twenty disciples were there. There were one hundred and twenty people still believe powerfuler.

  276. They fulfilled scripture by choosing Matthias to take Juda's place. Okay, I

  277. won't go to dip into it. But really quick before that, Judas is

  278. carried betrayed Jesus and he offed himself. Okay, said said, And they

  279. just read in the scripture in Isaiah it says, for it is written in

  280. the Book of Oh sorry, Book of Sums, let his dwelling place be

  281. desolate, and let no one live in it, let another take his office.

  282. So what happened is they choose two guys, Barzabas and Matthias right part

  283. of the one hundred and twenty and they say someone, So they got chalk

  284. disciples eat. I don't know in the Bible anyway, was it written that

  285. must have chalk discaples are? I think Jesus didn't specify. Also, you

  286. know why uh I think about it. I'm like, uh, you know,

  287. I cannot think. You know, maybe there's some significance are But when

  288. I read that, it just concluded that they had to fulfill scripture before the

  289. Holy Spirit came, because scriptures say let someone take his place. So we

  290. follow up, guys, there's some things in the Bible don't have to pray

  291. on that. I think sometimes Christians, we take this hole. Let me

  292. pray about it first a bit too far, A bit too far serve God's

  293. house. Let me pray about it first. No need to pray about you

  294. on Yes, pray about where you should yourself in God's house. You should

  295. pray about that. But you don't have to pray about whether you should or

  296. not serf in God's house. You don't need to pray about whether you should

  297. or not come to a church on Sunday. You need to pray about whether

  298. you should or not go. No, no need all this in your prayer.

  299. Taking up leadership, Yes, please pray about it, because it takes

  300. more where to surf. Yes, pray about it. Go relationship, Yes,

  301. please pray about it. But certain things in your Christian life, let

  302. me pray where I should read the Bible? No, No, guys,

  303. don't need to pray about you on some things, only your prayer by the

  304. on. In fact, some things are you. Just ask a holy spirit.

  305. He will put the voice in your Heartna, and then a lot of

  306. us will go. Get this behind me, Satan, I'm sure you didn't

  307. ask me to invite a person church. Friends, be sensitive to always spread.

  308. He's speaking to some of you here today. Be sensitive to him.

  309. Let his voice be louder than the other voices, that your own voice be

  310. softer. Amen. So they fulfilled scripture? Are you fulfilling scripture this morning?

  311. What are you doing to fulfill scripture in your life? You have you

  312. seen it that way before? You know? Jesus for fil scripture. Right.

  313. Do you know that you can fulfill scripture when you pray for the sick?

  314. Do you know that you can fulfill scripture when you follow? The Bible

  315. says you know. Yes, all of us here can fulfill scripture when we

  316. do certain things, when we obey. That's what's happening. So what happened

  317. in the day of the Pentecosts, They were together united sound people came okay,

  318. let me see ya. Okay. So God gave us the Holy Spirit

  319. to help us with the last commandment that Jesus left us. What is the

  320. last commandment meant you twenty eight nineteen twenty go you therefore to all the nations.

  321. Yeah, make disciples, not just preach. Make disciples. There's a

  322. difference. Now, make disciples and baptizing them in the name of the Father,

  323. the Son of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe, follow all

  324. that I have you know, shared with you, and I will be with

  325. you to the end of the Ah. Do you know there are few truths

  326. there? Number one. We got to go and not just preach the word,

  327. but make disciples. Okay, make disciples? Why is mixingciples doing life

  328. with people? We are very big on that here in X. You don't

  329. understand what make disciple is. Say hey, I want to join a hordle.

  330. Are there? You understand? It is the most scary, difficult and

  331. fulfilling thing ever they have decided to do in your life. Because once you

  332. do that, it's not about you anymore. That's the crazy thing. But

  333. for those of us who struggle and come out of it, we have gained

  334. much because of that. Our faith is strengthened because we are disciples. Amen,

  335. make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son of

  336. the Holy Spirit. How many of you here baptize? Ready? You see

  337. why I did that. If you're not baptized, get baptized. It is

  338. an outward declaration that I'm following Jesus. Baptized, no matter how how young

  339. you are. Don't think that it's not important. It is scripture. Are

  340. you fulfilling scripture? Not baptizing name and then teaching them. Do you know

  341. that you can't teach someone unless you yourself know? You have to know first

  342. you teach no, so you got to study first, la, then after

  343. that you teach other people. Hey, you know, I think God can

  344. heal. No, all we need to do is believe. I need to

  345. we need to lay you know. Oh, what's the significance about making disciples

  346. or planting church? Or why shouldn't I swear as a believer? Why shouldn't

  347. I watch nonsense on Netflix as a believer? Teach people? Right? Oh,

  348. we should forgive so that we can peace. That's all Jesus teaching right.

  349. And the Holy Spirit is there with us. I will be with you.

  350. The Holy Spirit is so significant when we live this life on our own.

  351. It's very difficult. Do you know that it is so difficult if you

  352. were to just rely on the word of God and don't have the Holy Spirit.

  353. Even that it's powerfuler, but it'll be tough. You know why?

  354. Because you know what? You know what I now I term it this way.

  355. So let me use discipleship as an example. What is discipleship to me?

  356. Discipleship is a customized do you customized journey? Of guidance to follow Jesus.

  357. Do you know who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is our

  358. counsellor, he's our trainer to customize your workout in Christ. Let me share

  359. with you more and thet I'll go a bit into that example. So who

  360. is the Holy Spirit and why is he important to us? Okay? This

  361. is what the Bible says, not why I say. And this is what

  362. the Bible says. First, we have to understand he is God. Holy

  363. Spirit is God, very clear, He's God. First Content six nineteen.

  364. Let's read that. Or do you not know that your body, your body

  365. is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you

  366. have from God. And you are not your own? That line itself are

  367. is so weighted your body doesn't belong to you anymore. My body, my

  368. choice by this scripture is a no. I don't know how many of us

  369. can accept that. Right, It's the temple of the Holy Spirit we have

  370. from God. He's God. Okay, he is a gift when we repent

  371. and are baptized x Chapter two, Ust the eight. That's what happened.

  372. That's what he said, that he's a gift when we repent. And baptize.

  373. Then, Peter say to them, repent and let everyone of you be

  374. baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you

  375. shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Hey, let me talk a

  376. little bit about this. Things need to be in order. What is the

  377. order repent and be baptized. Receiving Jesus is not just about receive Jesus as

  378. your best friend and that's it. You know, guys, do you know

  379. what repentance is? This something I don't really hear much preach in church.

  380. When I said church, I'm not talking about X. I'm talking about overall.

  381. We share about how good God is, but we don't talk about repentance.

  382. You know, repentance is Repentance is a turn from your evil ways and

  383. don't do them anymore. Stop it, Stop watching on, stop doing things

  384. that is not good for you. Stop it, repent, stop your tongue.

  385. No, Jesus is accepting. He will accept you for who you are.

  386. Yes, that's true. I'm not against that he is. But the

  387. moment you receive him, you have to change. There is repentance. We

  388. preached the message of acceptance, but we forget repentance. No, guys,

  389. it comes hand in hand. He will accept you. He will. It

  390. means, no matter what you did in your life in the past, no

  391. matter what happened your life in the past, Jesus will still accept you.

  392. Yes, yes, I agree. But to follow him, we have to

  393. repent. Why are people still living under bondage? No repentance yet? You

  394. know how hard is it to live a life of freedom when you still go

  395. back to bondage. It's tough. Right when someone is addicted to drugs,

  396. he have to not do it anymore. Oh no, no, no,

  397. he'll be fine. Just continue. No. Addiction is a very good example

  398. of repentance. Have to change so that you won't get into the addiction anymore.

  399. So we got to know that we have to repent. That's what I

  400. said. No wonder why my life staled like that? Well, these have

  401. to happen. First we repent, we follow Jesus Holy Spirit. Come,

  402. he will guide us. That's what happens. It has to come in order.

  403. There's no other way around it. This is what the Bible says.

  404. Just following out the Bible says, he's a gif. We get a gif.

  405. Why our trainer we get a trainer. Wow, you know, I'm

  406. so thankful for But because he's my coach, my training regime is different than

  407. other people. Why I cannot reach that level yet. But he's remembering what

  408. I can do and cannot do. And he's also encouraging me. That's what

  409. he does. And because of that, I can, you know, continue

  410. exercise. I can continue to do bigger things. I sight myself up more.

  411. How many of you like that for your faith, that you have a

  412. personal trainer for your faith? That is who the Holy Spirit is? God?

  413. Wish scripture to read now? Wish what I need to understand more?

  414. Got my life now? Right? When I go in through a life?

  415. What is the area that I have struggled with? Do you know that God

  416. reveal to you? Is it relationships? Is it addiction? Is it you

  417. cannot give easily? Is it you cannot receive easily? How funny is that?

  418. Right? I'm beginning to meet people who will very have to receive things.

  419. No, no, no it, I'll do it myself. No need

  420. to help. We have to receive, freely, receive, freely give a

  421. functional human being. That's what we all aim to be. Jesus is the

  422. most functional human being ever, Thank God, what is the struggle? We

  423. have? Let the Holy Spirit come and take over. But first we got

  424. to decide. I need to repent for my ways. I need to say

  425. stop it. It's not going to be easy journey. Yes, stop it,

  426. but I got to move on. Then you will experience the more of

  427. God in your life. It is a choice we have to make. It's

  428. God good that he will come and change. He will know. Do you

  429. know that? For some of us is willing to do that. But we've

  430. got to repent first before God can do things. Because God is so kind,

  431. He will never allow us to be stuck in a place. He will

  432. never allow Sometimes some of the challenges we face in life today we think that

  433. God's not there. Actually, God is kind to us because if he does

  434. anything, you will take it for granted and he won't change. He doesn't

  435. want you to do that. He wants you to change. He wants you

  436. to change for the better. He wants you to experience peace. He wants

  437. you to experience life with him. He wants you to experience bigger things.

  438. But we've got to make the decision is free of truth. John fourteen fifteen

  439. to eighteen let's read. If you love me, keep my commments, and

  440. I'll pray to the Father he will give you another helper. That's the Holy

  441. Spirit, right, and he may abide with you forever, the Spirit of

  442. truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him.

  443. But you know him. For I duellos with you and will be with

  444. you. I will not leave you offense. I will come to you.

  445. It is so significant, this thing about truth today, so significant because as

  446. I see what's happening on social media, see what's happening in the news,

  447. there's a lot of deception out there. There's a lot of half truths out

  448. there. There's a lot even in faith, even in things I read.

  449. It does a lot of half truths out there. You know, you want

  450. to know how to save true all this nonsense? Holy Spirit, Lord,

  451. what is the truth? Know the truth and the trooper sham set you free?

  452. Right? What is the truth? Lord? What is the truth?

  453. Can you show me the truth? I'm tired of listening to people. I'm

  454. tired of no show me the truth and the truth me free. Is there

  455. anything that I'm believing that is stopping me from experiencing the more of you show

  456. me the truth. The spirit of truth will speak to your life. Are

  457. you feeling this sense of you know something I come to this space. Are

  458. you feeling this sense of ah, there must be something more than this?

  459. Do you know I should find the answer from Holy Spirit. He give you

  460. truth. He might reveal something in your life that you realize that you're belonging

  461. for that it's not right, it's not from him, because you see when

  462. you come to God, now you have peace. When you come to God,

  463. you have freedom and fulfillment. And how many of you know when you

  464. are When you are with a person that's healthier, it's easier to progress.

  465. But when a person is not healthy, it's hard. And now I was

  466. just sinking to myself. If I'm super unhealthier, meaning my bonestone is going

  467. to be very difficult for meny exercise or live wegs and stuff like that.

  468. But because I'm fairly healthy in a way, fairly okay that I can do

  469. more. The more healthy I become, the more I can do. The

  470. less healthy, the less I can do I have to do a little bit.

  471. Same with our faith. Are we healthy and not? Do we understand?

  472. We accept do we surrender right, That's the truth is so important.

  473. Next point, He's our helper, comforter, and counselor. The Greek word

  474. used is sparak let us. Some call to someone's side, called to one's

  475. aid, one who pleads another's cause before a judge, a pleader, counsel

  476. for defense, legal assistant, one who pleads another's cause, an intercessor.

  477. That's what the Holy Spirit does for us. Amen, he is our helper,

  478. comforter. He helps us in our weaknesses Romans eight, twenty six thirty.

  479. Let's read that he helps us. Likewise, the Spirit also helps us

  480. in our weaknesses, for we do not know what we should pray for us

  481. we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot

  482. be attered. Now he who suggests the hearts know what the miner is spirit.

  483. It is because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of

  484. God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who

  485. love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. So you

  486. know, when we encourage you all the praying tongues we says, it edifies

  487. the Spirit. Time we don't know our prayer. You know, especially when

  488. we're in a place of weakness and you know, sadness, the springing tongues

  489. are let the spirit do the job. That's why we should not be silent.

  490. I mean, when the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we have the

  491. fruit of the spirit. I don't think it's in the Slnes Scalatians five twenty

  492. two, twenty three. You can read that. And of course, finally

  493. he gives us power micun three. Eight. Let me talk a little bit

  494. about two more things. Even as I close. So when I say he

  495. helps us in his bringer serves, let me give you this example because this

  496. happened to me. So I've got two kids, one this year, eleven

  497. and nine, when my youngest son was about maybe six years old, five

  498. to six years old. And of course parents, if you got kiss you,

  499. nola, they will press the wrong buttons. Right, he did something

  500. he shouldn't do. Lah. Okay, but let's just say that I got

  501. angry to the point that I overdid my anger, you know, and I

  502. thought it was justified. Now I shouted at him quite badly, and then

  503. he had to after that sleep lah. And then I'm like okay, you

  504. know, and I'm forty I think, yeah, two years back, I'm

  505. forty really forty two this year, right, and I was like, yeah,

  506. you know, score him, La, this does it. I went

  507. to sleep six o'clock in the morning, six am. I woke up and

  508. I had this nudging Elvin, you gotta apologize to your son. You shouldn't

  509. have done that. I'm like, huh. When that happens, are like,

  510. oh God, is that you get deep behind me satan you know,

  511. And I'm like hmm, yeah, okay, and I struggled. Can I

  512. share another thing with you? Some of you might identify with this, but

  513. again, don't blame your parents. My parents until today have never said sorry

  514. to me all my years. Never, I've never gotten a sorry, no

  515. matter what. Okay, my mom passed on ready, I can't answer for

  516. for that now, you know. So I've never had that. So what

  517. happened was was I'm like struggle, pray, pray, you know, God,

  518. wake you already, and then prayer, Lord do I have to?

  519. It's so humbling, and I'm like, I'm like, okay, Lord,

  520. I'll do it. Right. After a while, I'm like, oh,

  521. but he did wrong, you know he shouldn't. But I say, yeah,

  522. but you shouldn't have shout at him that way, right. So I

  523. went to his room at about seven seven thirty wake him up for school,

  524. and then my son, young man, forget everything I did? D like

  525. like nothing like that, know, and I'm like, boy, I need

  526. to tell you something that is sorry about yesterday. Okay, that did very

  527. fast. I'm like no, no, no no. So I had to

  528. come him and I said, son, can you can you come now?

  529. I need to tell something. So I'm like got his full attention and I

  530. said, son, I'm sorry, but yesterday I shouldn't have shout at you.

  531. Can you forgive me? Right? And then he'll get me. He

  532. didn't like. He like, okay that I forgive you, and then we

  533. all back him up and go. It was humbling. I'm fortius. Oh

  534. no, why God apologize the six year old kid for something? Hid it

  535. wrong? No, it's not about that. I shouldn't shouted after that got

  536. ministered to me. This is why I mean by Holy spray healthy with your

  537. weaknesses. This red customed to me might not like to any of you.

  538. I'm not saying, or the parents will go apodect my kid. Let me

  539. give you this perspective. My parents have never apologized to me ever. Of

  540. course they got say I love you and stuff, but they've never say sorry

  541. right after I did it. Now and I humbled myself and say, God,

  542. I'll follow you say right, because it wakes me up at six o'clock,

  543. so should be serious. I'm like, okay, you know you don't

  544. think about it, I said, But God minister to me. He gave

  545. me this picture. My son is six. Which one is better? Let

  546. me ask you. My son have a reference point that his father scolded him

  547. for something he did wrong and he probably don't know how. And daddy,

  548. of course, dady nona that I you know, God said, don't get

  549. angry and seeing I Seela in the anger, okay, right, I didn't

  550. abuse seem my guys, Okay, before you think that way. I didn't

  551. keep him anything, but I was it was a bit too much, right,

  552. Maybe got emotion in me. I don't know. And and he he

  553. either had that reference point, but now he has a reference because I apologize

  554. to him. Now my son has a reference point that his father, who

  555. is a human, can make mistake and can ask for forgiveness. What do

  556. you think my son will pick up? Which one is more? Powerful.

  557. Think about it. This, I tell you can only be done because of

  558. the Holy Spirit. In no way, guys, in my own programming in

  559. my brain. Now I will be able to do it because I've never received

  560. such grace from my parents in that regard. They are good parents. They've

  561. done a lot of things for me, but this area may be not so

  562. good. I don't know Chinese, sorry right, I don't know. Okay,

  563. but I think myself praise God that now my son has a reference point.

  564. Thank God that he doesn't have to continue in the curses of the generation

  565. of having anger in his heart because he never deal with it. I'm a

  566. very angry individual. Can I tell you that God's dealing with me? I

  567. share it before put me not to your first time. But I'm a very

  568. angry individual, a love panta anger, and I realized where it came from.

  569. But I'm thankful to God in the Holy Spirit that my kids doesn't have

  570. to continue with that. Now we know to say sorry. Now we're not

  571. And can I tell you, and nothing that happened two years ago, this

  572. whole apologizing thing to him has happened a few more times. Always gohad to

  573. remind me and helviing. I'm like, we've got four o'clock in the morning

  574. again, you know, but thank God now it's better. So the Holy

  575. Spirit does help you in your witnesses. See, we cannot expect other people

  576. to treat us well. Honestly. The only thing we can do is how

  577. can I be a blessing for others? Right? And you've got revealed to

  578. you, better humble yourself and doulah right, because you never know what will

  579. happen after that. Amen Zachariah for sexcess, not by mine, not by

  580. power, but by my spirit. Remember I mentioned just now the Holy Spirits

  581. are a trainer all of us here, and maybe I'll get the extreme thing

  582. to come up. Every one of us here. We're on a different chapter

  583. in our faith journey. We are different ones. It doesn't matter about age,

  584. but different one of us here. We have different levels of faith,

  585. we have different understanding of God's words. But the wonderful thing that is the

  586. same for us is that we have the Holy Spirit to guide us. It's

  587. not about where you're at, no, guys, it's about who you're with.

  588. Think about it my fitness journey, right, It's not about where I'm

  589. at now it's about I have a coach. You know, I've tried this

  590. exercising thing for many years, ready, I but I've never had a coach.

  591. Never and it's failure or did it for you know, one man and

  592. then failed? Try something else and fail. One of the things I recognize

  593. that is very valuable is that now I have a coach, that I get

  594. a customized training every time I come to the gym, and now when I

  595. go home and I want to exercise, I also get I ask a coach

  596. what should I do? I'll just follow. I just trust. Do you

  597. know that the Holy Spirit is like a coach to you that you can go

  598. and say, God, what is the area of my life that need to

  599. and God, can you be kind? Some of these areas a bit hot?

  600. Maybe area of my parents a bit harder be hot or very hardla?

  601. Can we don't touch it? First? Can you help me with the other

  602. things? First? Can you give me coach? Can you can you help

  603. me with the simple exercises first? Right? Don't don't don't straight away?

  604. Give me like you know, competition level exercise no? No, no,

  605. something simple? First? Can I leave like wayte worse? But I see

  606. after you can handle the light weights, right, you should progress to the

  607. heavior ones. Do you want to know something exciting? Once you start this

  608. journey with the Holy Spirit in your faith to grow, you will be encouraged.

  609. You will be the one saying, Hey, God, I think I

  610. can handle heavior. Now, God, I think I can do crazier things.

  611. God, I think I can because we've overcome. You've overcome, You've

  612. overcome, and this journey is lifelong. No can I tell you that my

  613. finished journey is not going to end now. I'm very very clear that I'm

  614. gonna do this. AUNTI I die, because you're not in my diary.

  615. So I better do it. Auntil I die, I better exercise until I

  616. die. I better you know. And and let me tell you another wonderful

  617. thing. So I've been trying to think to think of ways to spend time

  618. with my boys. Go, I got two boys. Okay, hey,

  619. Jimmy, I mean they're say young, but once their teens, my younger

  620. say that I'll join you. I'm like, okay, now still young,

  621. playful bihalla right, but all time, Like, hey, if I continue

  622. this practice, then he will join me. And then, now how more

  623. wonderful for him? Because he's starting young, and then we don't just build

  624. memories together. He's developing a good habit. Hopefully he will live long,

  625. Girla, and hopefully he will continue to this practice with his kids. Because

  626. my dad did for me, Now I can do it with my kids.

  627. What about our faith I'm just talking about Jim. What about faith parents?

  628. Those that maybe young, not your parents don't understand. It's okay your parents

  629. don't pass it through. It's okay. You can be the change. You

  630. can be the one. Friends, what is it in your life right now

  631. that you think that God is challenging as you are hearing me share, there's

  632. definitely one area one that God's nudging your heart. Is it in the area

  633. of giving? Is it in the area of serving? Is it in your

  634. area even of committing? Just committing and saying ah, I will just go

  635. to the gym at least once a week. I've been inconsistent. At least

  636. once a week I'll go. What is that? We hope you've been blessed

  637. by this message. For more information on our church, please visit as Church

  638. Org. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that this

  639. week is going to be a good week. I hit for you. God bless
