You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
For the earth MOMENI you read it with me? One, two, three,
-
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of
-
the glory of the Lord. As the waters cover the sea.
-
Where does this come from? Haberkerk Chapter two and verse fourteen. Amen,
-
Haberkerk Chapter two and verse fourteen. Is this Old Testament
-
or New Testament? Amen? All right? You hope you know
-
where the book Haberkerk is from. And this is very
-
much the vision of our church that for the earth
-
will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of
-
the Lord. I forgot what the Lord as the waters
-
cover the sea, haberkerk two, verse fourteen. And this is
-
the verse that speaks about, you know, the glory, glory
-
of the Lord that will cover the whole earth. Amen.
-
God wants? What does God want? And I want to
-
share that with you today. And we have many thoughts
-
about missions. Some people have heard the word missions, some
-
people have never some people have no idea what it is.
-
The word missions doesn't exist in the Bible. It is
-
a word coined or over by That means that you
-
kind of find the word missions. That means, it's a
-
descriptive word that was coined by the believers to be
-
able to explain and so missions in one in a
-
short way, it's just, you know, it just simply means,
-
you know, moving from one comfort zone, from one of
-
our own culture to reach someone else of another culture,
-
to come from our own comfort zone moving to another
-
culture that is different. And you already see this with Jesus.
-
Jesus was very comfortable in heaven, you know, see in
-
the heavenly places already with Father God and the Holy Spirit.
-
But God said, who will I send? Because the earth
-
needs a savior. I've been trying to use the different ones,
-
but they can't seem to catch it. So God said
-
who will go? And he said, you know, And then
-
Jesus said, here am I send me? And so Jesus
-
had to leave heaven and come to earth. Earth is
-
a beautiful earth. It got made, but it's a messy
-
earth because sin rain due to Adam and Eve, who
-
you know, just instead of following following their father God,
-
they believed the serpent and they fell. So sin entered
-
the world. When did sin entered the world? It entered
-
the world when Adam and he believed Satan took the
-
fruit they should have never taken. And when sin came,
-
the earth became messy and messy. Until today we are
-
the we're still experiencing while we find Jesus in our lives.
-
And we received Jesus. When we have repented from our
-
sin and returned to the Lord, we have eternal life. Amen,
-
we have been you know, forgiven. And so the penalty
-
of sin, we have been freed from the penalty of sin.
-
And about however, the presence of sin remains. So Jesus
-
came from a beautiful, beautiful place, but he came to
-
a very messy earth. He's not afraid of our sin.
-
He's not afraid of our pain and our shame. He
-
came to walk this earth to give us that hope
-
and a future, a future and a hope in him.
-
So missions means to for us to move from one
-
of our own comfort zone, moving to another, a culture perhaps,
-
or to somebody that we may never have met or
-
do not know them, to share the good news of
-
Jesus Christ. That's where the word missions In short, are
-
you again talk so longer? No time today, but every time?
-
So no time? Hi yah? So hopefully honest because we'll
-
be able to share. But I just want to say
-
to us when this word says for the earth will
-
be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
-
Lord as the waters cover the sea. This knowledge of
-
the Lord, somebody has to bring that knowledge. And first
-
person that came and gave his life for us is Jesus.
-
He's our big brother. Amen, Thy God, Thy all right?
-
And then he say, the big brother, the firstborn before
-
all of us, and he's our example. This knowledge of
-
the glory of the Lord. How can we bring it
-
to the earth as we live on the earth. Okay,
-
So that's my title. We want to see the whole
-
earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
-
Lord as the waters cover the sea. Amen. So one
-
of the things you know the Bible, and if you
-
didn't already know, maybe maybe we don't realize it, but
-
the Bible really is a story about God. It's not
-
about you. And we' so selfish and we've been taught
-
as if it's all about us. It's not. When you
-
read the Word of God, you find out more about God.
-
When people read the Bible, you find out more about God.
-
It is about what God has for us, what he's
-
doing and what he's saying to us. He's revealing himself
-
to us. And you know, sometimes when you want to
-
know somebody, you've got to spend time get to know
-
that person. If you have never Okay, let's say if
-
you you know, people write biographies, So if you want
-
to know I Linpuncture writes a biography. Then we read
-
and then that book reveals about who she is you
-
wried about, you know, anybody that maybe has gone and
-
we don't know them, but the biography will tell us
-
about their life, and that it reveals to them who
-
they are, what they've done, how they feel. Right. So well,
-
I'm not saying this is a biography. This is the
-
word of life. But in this word of life, life
-
giving words. It's not just a print bibe. But you
-
can throw it around. Maybe you have in the cupboard.
-
It's collecting us, hey, but it's really the word of life.
-
And I hope everyone will begin to fly with us,
-
and you know, fly with us, run with us, and
-
own your own Bible, because this is God's word to us.
-
He's revealing himself to you and to me through his word. Amen.
-
So reading God's word will reveal who God is to us.
-
Please don't just get hooked up on watching YouTube messages.
-
That's somebody else's message. It is not God's word. Okay,
-
I'm so tired of people watching YouTube messages but never
-
reading the word of God. Come on, you spend so
-
much time reading other things, watching Netflix, but not enough
-
time to read the word of God. And I'm not
-
just speaking at you, I'm speaking to myself as well.
-
And this is the word that reveals who God is.
-
The Bible is really the story about our God. He
-
is a missionary God. He has been coming to man
-
from day one. He created man that man would worship him,
-
that will fellowship. Sin robbed us of that, and he
-
has been trying to redeem us to different ways, trying
-
to creature us. But we sin is so we allow
-
sin to just continue work and then it stops, and
-
Satan is not going to give up. So you don't
-
read the word of God, you cannot know God when
-
you don't spend time with somebody. I cannot know you
-
spending time God cannot. We cannot see God because he's holy.
-
We will, we will dissolve. But his word is really
-
really revealed to us. We want to read it. Time
-
is not on our side, Church, time is not on
-
our side. You know, the world has got so much
-
things going on. It's not like you're going to live forever.
-
But the Word of God will be forever. And if
-
you have Christ, you will have eternal life, so so important,
-
and this eternal life. I'm forever grateful that Jesus found me.
-
I'm forever grateful to someone who worship other gods today
-
because my friends, she had the good news to me.
-
What is the good news That Jesus died on the
-
cross for me and took my sins. And when I
-
repented of my sin and said, Lord, forgive me, he
-
came into my life. He turned my life around. And
-
that's how I came to no Christ. I was a
-
worship of other gods that were that really did not
-
give me life or truth. In fact, it suffered through
-
different no confidence, no identity, didn't know who I was,
-
going through all kinds of beliefs. But God came to
-
me a friend, my fourteen year old classmate that shared
-
with me, and of course I said, no, thank you,
-
speak to the hand. But one year later I had
-
that opportunity again and God touched my heart and I
-
received him as my personal Lord and savior. And then
-
this book of life became real to me. And this
-
is many years, forty years over of me following Christ.
-
I'm ever grateful that God came into my life. I
-
don't know about you. You have you do you remember
-
the story of how you came to know Jesus and
-
how precious Amen. God is just drawing people to him,
-
not because to drawing people to him, to worship him,
-
to love him, to love him because we choose to
-
love him, not because he is. That's the word insecure.
-
Go like, you have to worship me. You have to
-
worship you know, because God is so worthy. As we
-
come to him, as we discover him, he began, you know,
-
as we recognize his glory and know, wow, this awesome God.
-
He himself wants to bless us, wants to release to
-
us the plans, the beauty and the glory. You give
-
him glory and he will bless back glory to us.
-
To the glory. What is glory? And you will do
-
this in homes notes as well, the glory of God.
-
Just the word glory means weight. It is substantial, it
-
is substance, It is honest honor. It is just you know,
-
the It's like a reward, its fullness. The glory of
-
God is heavy. How would I say? It's a weight.
-
And until you begin to pursue God, you will not
-
fully You know grass the glory of God. And God
-
wants you to know that glory, to experience the blessing,
-
the weight, the beauty. The English words fail me. Shakhaah
-
blah blah. I don't have the English words for it.
-
And when we lack that knowledge of that glory of
-
the Lord, then we don't know how to serve the Lord.
-
We don't know how to live that gives God glory.
-
We live for ourselves. We live thinking it's all about us,
-
but it's not. It's really about the Lord who comes
-
into our lives and restores what the devil has robbed
-
us and lied to us. And we think that God
-
is keeping something from us, but no, God gives us fullness.
-
I am really testament of God's restoration and I'm still
-
following him from my teenage years and into now my fifties.
-
God is still good and I'm still getting to know him. Amen.
-
You know, ex church is inundated, whether you like it
-
or not. We will continue to pursue God's heart. God's
-
heart is for the loss, and God's heart is to
-
see people come to know Him. And that's why we
-
actively plun churches. Why do we have an excher us,
-
Why do we have an exity life or ex brick
-
fews that reaches out to the deaf community. It's not easy.
-
We continue to plant in England and Germany is coming up.
-
In a month's time. I will be traveling there. We're
-
going to launch ex Germany. With the little that we have.
-
We will have the oldest missionaries in their sixties. They're
-
going to plant the church for the Lord. Why do
-
we do that? You can think that, oh, but as
-
first world they might be first world brains, but they
-
have no spirit. They have lost the knowledge of God
-
in the West, and we need to bring back that
-
knowledge of Christ that they will experience the glory of God. Amen, hallelujah.
-
So I have this next light that says missions exists
-
because worship doesn't. What do I mean? Why do we
-
have missions? Why are we doing You know, all these
-
work that we do globally and locally, missions exist. And
-
this is written by John Piper who said this missions
-
exist because worship doesn't. What does that mean? We want
-
to just I want to. I want to implore your
-
hot church so that you will continue to grow in
-
your knowledge of God. And the glory of God is
-
what you want to encounter every day. You know, every
-
everything that you do, you want to you just want
-
to give God the glory. You want to experience his glory.
-
You know in the Book of Exodus, and I bring
-
you backwards a little bit to the Book of Exodus,
-
and Exodus is the book where you read about how
-
God wanted to take the people of the Jewish nation.
-
They weren't the nation yet. I mean, they were a group,
-
a whole nation that was living in Egypt in the
-
good days under Joseph who was the prime minister and
-
the Pharaoh who knew them and opened up that land
-
called Goshen in Egypt, and they lived there for four
-
hundred and thirty years. And then God said, after four
-
hundred and thirty years, I'm going to bring them out
-
and give them and then they will have to take
-
on the promised land Canaan, which is what you see
-
today's Israel. And no matter what you read in the
-
news and say, this is not their land. They fought
-
for it, They conquered, and they took the land that
-
God had said to them, you conquer and take it.
-
So regardless what you read in the newspaper, read your Bible,
-
then you will know why that land is theirs, because
-
God wanted them to have it. He didn't just give
-
it to them. They had to conquer the land. So
-
he said, I'm going to bring them out and put
-
them there. So what does he say, was he what
-
was he saying? They just slaves? Yes, they were slaves.
-
After a while they became slaves, and four hundred and
-
thirty years they lived there. And then he called for
-
that person who will bring them out, all right, the deliverer,
-
The deliverer Moses. So I won't go to history on Moses.
-
Read the Bible for yourself that you know. And I
-
just want to say, God called Moses, and Moses had
-
every excuse. I know, clair Villa, I cannot speak La,
-
I know handsome law whatevera okay, I cannot do is la.
-
And do you know Moses was trained in the Egyptian
-
traditions and culture. He actually hebrew says, he spoke eloquently.
-
And yet when God asks you serve me and you,
-
and I will always say the bully, I ain't good enough. Yeah, anyway,
-
Moses gave all the reasons. God, God, God really got
-
upset with him and say, okay, you bring your brother
-
Aaron and he will be your voice and let him
-
speak on your behalf. I'm choosing you. You done that.
-
Sometimes we are like that. Of you all will say
-
yes anytime. Basically, we are made to serve the Lord.
-
I will come to that. Missions exist because worship doesn't.
-
What does that mean? Before I became a Christian, I
-
worship false gods. They cannot hear me. They are as
-
they are there. When true gods they couldn't lead me
-
to eternity. When I came to know Christ, in my experience,
-
I came to know the true and living God. The
-
tomb is empty, there is nobody in there in the toomb.
-
Jesus rose again from the dead, and then I worship him.
-
I no longer worship the idols. I've lived like that
-
for many years, and in fact curses were on my life,
-
but Jesus broke those curses over my life. Really curses
-
that just it's like that when you don't know God,
-
the curses are on your life, you never amount to anything.
-
You're ugly. Forever you think like that, you can never
-
do well. But the God took away that curse. And
-
when I was born again in Jesus, I experienced this
-
new life. And then I worshiped the Living God. And
-
as I worshiped the Living God, I began to serve him.
-
There's not one time in my walk with Jesus have
-
I sat in the seats and done nothing. I served,
-
whether I was usher or I was doing XTV those days.
-
XTV is not sou chungala. It's called oh HP overhead
-
projector whah. If you see it today, you're like ancient
-
got slight like sly said it okay? Or I was
-
I organizing the chess, or maybe I have to throw
-
the trash, maybe we have to drive people to church.
-
Never once in my forty years in my life have
-
I not worshiped to serve, or my service was a
-
worship to the Lord. There was no need to ask
-
the Lord if I should serve. I serve until God
-
says no. Today we all say I'll serve. Once I
-
hear the Lord tell me to serve, I want to
-
tell you he ain't gonna tell you Linus, please serve.
-
You should just serve. And then when you do something,
-
and just like Paul, no, Liners, don't go to Jerus
-
this week. Stay in so many as, then you don't
-
go Lah. Now Paul wanted to go away. Paul wanted
-
to make his way to other parts of Europe, and
-
the Lord said, no, you go the Macedonian call, you
-
go to Greece, not to the other side of Europe.
-
But he never says stop going unless basically, we keep
-
going until God says no because there's something else to do.
-
Missions exist because people aren't worshiping him. God wants our
-
worship because he doesn't want us to worship false gods.
-
That's what Satan has done again. You either are for
-
God or you are for yourself or for other gods.
-
You can be a God yourself. Your child can be
-
a god. Your money can be your god, your job
-
can be your god, your girlfriend can be a god.
-
But is God the God who says to you and
-
leads you. You worship him, you serve him. I think
-
I'm old enough and been long enough in church life
-
to tell you what I've seen. I've seen the failures,
-
I've seen everything I will have to tell you what
-
is truth. I cannot not tell you the truth because
-
whatever you may have gone through in those who have
-
been Christian for a long time, whatever it is, do
-
not hang your service because of one man who hurt you.
-
Wake up church. Just because Senda failed you, you don't
-
serve God anymore. Who is she? She's just another vessel
-
who is weak and God transforms her life. But she
-
makes a mistake, doesn't mean forever she's dadler. She will
-
rise from her mistakes. If you have to say sorry,
-
she will apologize. But don't let my mistake stop you
-
from trusting God and the man of God that got
-
plays to lead us to do the work of the Lord.
-
And therefore many believers fail to serve the Lord because
-
we think it's about us. It's a very urgent message.
-
I am the missions pastor, but I cannot be the
-
missions pastor because I don't know nothing. It's because he's
-
been with me for years. This man is I shared
-
with you. I just want you to know so many
-
of us used to not worship God, but today we do.
-
As you come to church every week, don't say that
-
boring la because the same lineers is leading with shame.
-
You know the same Elaine is cooking the food for you.
-
Are you borrowing? I need some superstars. Get better at
-
what you want. Wake up a little bit earlier. Try
-
not to sleep in the service. Try to give God attention.
-
Come on, try not to yearn so much. What were
-
you doing last night watching Netflix? Burn it? Burn it
-
seriously because you're not learning anything that's life giving. It
-
teaches you rubbish and it breaks down your life. If
-
you and I follow the world system, you will live
-
and be like what you worship. God doesn't want us
-
to worship the things that are not him. What you worship,
-
you will serf. Ask yourself, who are you really worshiping?
-
Because what you worship, you will serf seriously. And God
-
doesn't want us to worship the things that are false,
-
because we will become like that. We will. You don't
-
realize it. I worship other gods. I didn't know God.
-
I seek God. I want to. I believe there was
-
a God, but I didn't know Jesus was the way,
-
and I became like that as a young person. My
-
life just just rob from me because the devil is
-
a liar and he will make us turn out back
-
on God because he wants to be God. I want
-
to say to us, true worship exists when we worship
-
the Living God and there's only one way to God,
-
and it's Jesus, and he came for us. Therefore, mission, friends,
-
missions exist because not everyone on the face of the
-
earth is worshiping the Lord, true Living God. There are
-
many more tribes. Tribes means that all kinds of people
-
that live on the earth that have no chance to
-
hear the good news. We need to reach them or
-
we need to do something. An ex church has a
-
part to play. We really support missionaries evangelists in China,
-
in East Malaysia to do the work because you and
-
I cannot go into the jungles. You got no time
-
to go. How So, missions exist because worship doesn't. So
-
when Exodus, when God said I'm going to bring the
-
people out, they thought probably until today. Maybe that's why
-
at that time the Israelites thought that bpe, this is
-
God's way to cheat the Pharaoh to how they say,
-
to get them out as slave so that they're free
-
from slavery. Okay, just it's a tipu hella helaala, just
-
a bluff thing. You're not just bluff the pharaoh lada.
-
You know what God says. This is what God says
-
in the word. If you read Exodus chapter seven, verse sixteen,
-
Exodus chapter eight, Exodus chapter nine, Exodus chapter thirty ten,
-
this is the one word. The word goes like this.
-
Let my people go, know full stop, continue that they
-
may serve me. Let my people go, most of us
-
stop and let my people go. That's why I let
-
the pharaoh like only reading. Let my people go. What
-
lazy for us? Don't work? Here? Is it all? My
-
slave's gone? Ready? No, carry on, Let my people go,
-
so that they may serve. Exchange the words serve, give
-
me another word so that they may worship. He wanted
-
his people to worship, because when we worship the Living God,
-
we become like our father. We began to receive his glory. Oh,
-
the weight, the fullness, the substance. I don't even know
-
how to explain it to you, but I have to
-
tell you there is a weight, There is such a war,
-
and that glory can only have experienced as you worship.
-
How many times every time we come to worship. When
-
you are deep in worship, you just sense the nearness
-
of God. Worship brings us near to God. Watching Netflix
-
brings you far from God. So we worship to God
-
that we come near to God. That's what let my
-
people go, that they may so me. Was ship and
-
then people, and so the ex in Exodus you will
-
read over Exodus and numbers the children of Israel. They
-
thought it was just a way to take them out
-
from slavery. And so they thought it's all about them.
-
And they kept complaining throughout the time for forty years
-
about what nothing to eat, nothing to drink, my shoes,
-
the same shoe. I want to bund new Adida shoe.
-
Cannot same shoe, same shoe, never tear. You read it,
-
the shoe never broke their shoe from him. They were
-
five years old, forty years, forty five years old. For
-
forty five year wearing the same Adida shoe. I yah
-
cannot go shopping. I had the same t shirt. I'm
-
wearying extra still said tish, never tear, never still knew
-
God a miracle. For forty years they wore the same shoe.
-
And then they were always talking about nothing to eat,
-
my diet, this place like sad. But they never never
-
grasped that God wanted to bring them near to worship.
-
They missed the point and that's why they complain. But
-
if they knew, there's more than just slavery. And yes,
-
I'm under the Punja Jahan of the Egyptians, you know,
-
the ruling rulership. It's more than that. It's like Call
-
wanted them to experience him and brought them to the
-
Red Sea. Whoa, And still they complain and they complain
-
and they complain, and some of us are like that,
-
there's nothing else they come off our mouth. But I
-
don't like that rad bad. I don't like that pow.
-
I don't like that. Make that one. I don't like
-
I don't like you know that that one? And this
-
one girl's face. So I don't like everything we do.
-
Complain and complaint. He says, thank you Jesus. I don't know,
-
Mamada buy their house. At least you got a house,
-
great fool, I must be gratefool. At least Elimbrah went
-
quay for you. She didn't make meat balls, la but yeah,
-
she brought a quay for you. Come on, God said,
-
let my people go. It didn't full stop. It wasn't
-
just to set them free from slavery. It was so
-
that they could come new to worship Him. And at
-
the end of the day, it's really for us and
-
for all peoples of the earth or whether you speak
-
Howking malially, the Lago Cantonese. We came to worship the Lord.
-
It's not about English language only Amen. Next, worship is
-
the goal of missions. Worship is the goal all of missions.
-
So therefore missions is not just for the few missionaries.
-
You go all a pastor, you're the missions fast. Oh yeah,
-
it's not me. I want you to come along with
-
me because even though we keep sewing, that's all we do.
-
We sew, we sw we sow in the heart of
-
that person. We pray Holy Spirit touch them that their
-
heart will be open. Crossing culture, getting from the uncomfortable,
-
from the comfortable to the uncomfortable. Our lives are very busy.
-
It's become like that work takes over family life, Lord
-
Church even we are with their things to do. Thank
-
God for jur You know, I'm very grateful that I
-
grew up in my late teens in church because it
-
built me up. All that I can do, learning to
-
do different things wasn't because of my home, but it's
-
because of my church. As I grew out. I learned
-
so many things. So I'm grateful for the church in
-
the community. But it's also the church that brought me
-
out to see the needs after loss. My first mission trip.
-
You will laugh at me, thinking were very far right.
-
They asked me, Sandra, I think I was eighteen, No,
-
I was probably twenty already. You want to go for
-
a mission trip way Melocer William's church. That William was
-
a small boy, you're William, Okay? I went them like girl.
-
But well, there's so many things you do in missions.
-
We went to encourage the existing church, even us here
-
when someone comes and speak and tell us stories. But
-
what God is doing encourage just us. So we encourage
-
the church. Other times I had to. I went aroun
-
Asli and then we reach out to them. Back in
-
the day, it is so scared we get caught, you know,
-
because the police will say, who are you getting in
-
your vent? Back in the day? Back in the day.
-
A lot of things back in the day cannot do,
-
but we win. All I'm saying is the goal of
-
the word. Worship is the goal of missions. We want
-
people to worship the Lord, and worship not just about
-
the singing It's about living your life for the glory
-
of God. Worship doesn't mean music. Worship doesn't mean the songs.
-
Worship just means surrender. Yes, Lord, you are my God.
-
Everything I do is whatever that you told me in
-
your Bible. I will do it lot and only when
-
he doesn't want you to do it. That's when you
-
That's when God will say, stop you laying, don't go,
-
but everything else go. That's what I learned as we
-
look at the glory of God, because He's He's everything
-
that's that's No. You don't have to ask me, like
-
you know past Or Nick says, can you line the
-
chess up? Sure? Can you pick up so and so? Sure?
-
I should be able to say sure, ala okay, not
-
like I let me pray about it, arrange the chess,
-
let me pray about it. We need help in me, like, oh,
-
let me pray about it. I'll do whatever God leads me.
-
Now that I hear people tell me that I want
-
to warm meetler because I'm saying I have your church
-
needs you line us answered the call because we needed help.
-
He doesn't have to do this. Did he tell me
-
you'll pray about it? I won't friend him laughter that
-
your church needs you. My teens. We need help with teens.
-
Come and help us. I'm asking you, and you tell
-
me you will pray about it and see where God leeds.
-
You just say my church needs me. I will come
-
do whatever until God says no, don't do this now
-
you wait. That's what he told Paul. And then Paul
-
had not wait and wait forever and drink peanut, go laden. No.
-
He was sent to Macedonia and he went to the
-
to another part. So I want to change out, transform
-
my own heart as well, to stop saying no, because
-
I need to pray about it, to see whether it
-
is God's will for me to feed the poor. Come on, Peo, Paul,
-
the people, the food, the food, the food needs the people.
-
People need the food. And it's just gonna take two
-
hours of your time plus plus there's gonna okill all
-
in all four hours because you're to travel there. I
-
don't need to pray about it. It's here, it's here
-
in care. The refugees need it. Okay, I will go.
-
I'm just saying what stirs in my heart. How will
-
I respond? Of course, if I can't do it now,
-
I'm sorry. Now I got the child to feed it
-
got the grandmother who's sick. I can't. But I'm not
-
going to say no, I'm willing. I just can't do it. Now.
-
Is there another chance? At least you say like that,
-
It sounds more to do a bit to the years la.
-
But then you say, let me pray about it, and
-
if God leads me, I will go. Okay. How long
-
you need to pray about it? Because they need to eat.
-
Dora Astley needsitution. They cannot go to school. The government
-
will not give them school until they convert to become Muslim.
-
So once set the day a month, they cannot worship
-
because they don't know worship is the goal of missions.
-
Jesus said this Matthew for and verse ten, when the
-
Satan told him, you come up, I'll take you and
-
I'll give you all this world. You bow down and
-
worship me. What do Satan want from us? He wants
-
worship from God's creation. God creates it. Lucifer, when I
-
don't know, doesn't say, but he created him way, way,
-
and go wherever. He lifted up his heart and said,
-
I want to be like God. That's what he told.
-
If you will be like God, if was all freddy
-
like God, because he was. She was the child of God.
-
Let us make men the Us, God, Sun and Holy
-
Spirit was already in Eve and Adam. And yet Satan
-
the serpent said, you know, if you eat that fruit,
-
you will be like God. She was already like God.
-
So Ahitan said to Jesus forty days hungry, no water,
-
no doing, no water, no food. You bow down now
-
and worship me. I'll give you the whole world, because
-
right now the earth is under his reign. God is
-
overall overall. Ah. But right now Satan reigns here in
-
the air that heavens whatever he influences. But this, Jesus answer,
-
you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only
-
you shall serve. Coman, Jesus said, you shall worship the
-
Lord your God, and him only you shall serve. Jesus
-
was at his weakest when Satan trew dead at him.
-
He's always at our weakest that we get tempted. Thank you, Jesus,
-
you didn't give up. You didn't let Okay, Now whatever,
-
I'm so hungry, you give me nour. Eat the bread
-
now which your stone, actually that stone into bread, he said,
-
And this makes so much sense. Worship doesn't even begin
-
with music. It begins with who you serve, right, guys,
-
It's not about the music or the sound system. Worship
-
ministry is about your heart. Your heart, they say, I
-
love you Lord, I'm getting to love you more and more.
-
I don't think my love for God is so big liked.
-
I think I also learning to love God a little
-
bit more than yesterday. So Jesus said, you worship the Lord,
-
your God, and him only. You shall serve. What you serve,
-
you will worship. And that's why people who serve money
-
will go for golf on Sunday to make the business
-
deals on the golf course. These are believers, They say,
-
God can wait. I need the business deal. I need
-
my promotion. So Sunday is taking up my space. So
-
maybe if they say they are Christian, they may have
-
They may need to come back to know why and
-
what God has done for them. You give your two
-
hours three hours to the Lord on Sunday, then go
-
play the golf and make the business deal. I think
-
you will make a lot of money after that. You
-
put God first. You what you serve, you will worship.
-
You serve golf, you will worship golf. You serve your boss.
-
You will worship your boss. Sure, it's like that. It's
-
like that. It's like that. If I love baking, if
-
I keep baking, I will worship my baking. Even my work.
-
I love my work. But I can't tell you. I
-
can't I love me what I do wake up in
-
the morning. I have to discipline myself. No, I need
-
to worship you first, not do my work. And my
-
work is a lot. I like doing my work cloud,
-
which is full time and full time some word people,
-
to deal with paperwork, to deal with all kinds of things,
-
to deal schedules, to do organized missionships, all this part.
-
But I cannot do that because I like doing it.
-
But if I serve that, I will worship that, thank
-
God will not be in the picture. That means what
-
God has blessed me. And I'm not worshiping the creation,
-
not the creator. Oh so we're important, right, moving on
-
if I'm gonna be late. So the next verse here
-
says what so why why missions? Why? Because we say,
-
because worship doesn't exist? Right, so why May the nations
-
praise you? Oh God, Yes, may all the nations praise you.
-
Let the whole world sing for joy, the glory of
-
God to be revealed to the nations, to the whole world.
-
You and I want was that lost person didn't know
-
about that? I should know God and worship him. God
-
wants the nations to worship him. God wants all peoples
-
to come near to Him so that when they see
-
his glory and give him glory. The actual generous, hole generous,
-
so generous. The generosity of God is what he does.
-
He says, you worship him, you give him Glory's it
-
is said that he just out of his generosity of
-
knowing how you love him and worship him, he pause
-
his generosity over us. He never holds back. He always
-
gives more than we need. Amen. And so you know
-
whatever happened, when do I take you back the nations?
-
Right when the Exodus happened, and what's his name, mister
-
Moses let the people out from Egypt and the plagues happened,
-
they were miracles because I think plague number three onwards,
-
or plague number four, it only counna the Egyptians, but
-
the people in Goshian the Jews did not experience the flies,
-
or the darkness or the frogs. They didn't. But the
-
land of Egypt, God wanted to tell Pharaoh, let my
-
people go that they may worship him. Yes, his heart
-
was hardened because God wanted him to know that there's
-
only one God at the end of the day. Wasn't
-
because he wanted to kill the Pharaoh know he wanted
-
them to know him, because they were already worshiping all
-
kinds of gods, not the true God. So the Jewish
-
people were supposed to be the light and salt, but
-
they were so about themselves. They forgot to shine for
-
God and keep complaining about I don't have fish to eat,
-
I don't have garlic to eat. I don't have onions
-
to eat, I don't have bird to eat, guela meat. Right,
-
So the whole point is made. The nations praise You.
-
Where we worship and together? Where do we sing in
-
hokeen we do? We sing in Swahili, wather we sing
-
in Tama, weather we singing Malayalam, whether we sing in Mandarin,
-
whatever language, Bahasa, don't despise you. We always like Malaysia,
-
but he's still a people group. If we sing in
-
the club language or the Lambawang language or the milana
-
whever Malaysia goes. So many tribes yet to be rich.
-
Sounds different Iban language made the nations worship the Lord. Amen, Amen,
-
and again the next light, declare his glory among the nations.
-
He wonders among all the people. The sorry type, Peter,
-
So he's wonders among all the people like the bully. Okay, sorry,
-
declare his glory among the nations. It is about the
-
glory of God. As I share this with you when
-
you go for homes. This will be easier for you
-
to discuss, all right, because I wrote the notes. Oh, okay,
-
declare is glory among the nations, and he's wonders among
-
the people. So the Jewish people were supposed to declare
-
God's glory among the nations. Watching and truly, when they
-
saw what happened to Egypt and Pharaoh, they were like
-
the fear of the Lord. When say, wow, there is
-
a God who fights for the Jewish people, and he
-
still fights for them. He still fights for them until today.
-
So whatever's going to happen is going to happen. But
-
God will fight for them because they will have nobody
-
else to help them, No American nor England, no body
-
bombs will come. Then they're like okay, oh, baise law,
-
and they have to turn back to the Lord, and
-
it is the lot will help them, and then the
-
nations will go like whoa. Even in that times of Exodus,
-
the nations had the fear of the Lord jet throw.
-
His father in law was not a Jew, said whoa.
-
He said, give glory to God. I can't imagine how
-
he let two million people out and protected them. Led
-
by fire, pillar of fire at night and a pillar
-
of cloud at the daytime. I won law you so
-
one tell you there that one pillow of fire. That's
-
the business to you code, heyd. But that's how God led.
-
It was supernatural. They traveled at night, they travel in
-
the daytime. They travel anytime that God said, go So
-
today you and I refused to change. He said, I
-
don't like change. Oh you always do. These white pass
-
said allow my company. In that time in the exodus,
-
there was no such time as my time. No, no, God, no, Now,
-
let me have my few children first, after I give
-
birth everything, then then I can serve you. Okay, Now
-
now you can move me to the nations. No, no,
-
I can a lot. It's my time. I cannot leave
-
my job. Now. No, let me make my million first, no,
-
God's calling you now to go. No. No. Whenever he
-
said now it's time to move, they had to move.
-
Whether it was at night, morning, afternoon they moved, or
-
it was time to stay. They'll stay there for two
-
five years? Five how many years? Sailor time to go?
-
Okay go. I don't know how he led two million
-
people the uncle Moses, no head phonder, Hello, everybody, text
-
them now it's time to go. The two million people. Yo,
-
how to tell hello? No? No, no, loud yell. But
-
that's the amazing thing. I don't know. They had. Their
-
groupings are like elf, you know, the fifties and hundreds
-
and the finally just take care one they had. That's
-
how we do leadership right here. Leader of ten, leader
-
of fifty, leaders one hundred. It's biblical. And they looked
-
and they said, wow, there's a god who fights for
-
the Jewish people. And God wanted them to stand in
-
that all and to know him. That was his point
-
that all nations will worship him. Amen. All right, now
-
I have to close soon, so I'm going to have
-
closed it with this verse Genesis chapter twelve, verse one
-
to three, but I only highlighted verse three, and I'm
-
thinking most of you would have seen this verse before.
-
Now Genesis chapter twelve, verse one. We're going all the
-
way back to Genesis chapter one, chapter one, Buler, chapter twelve.
-
And this is Abraham. It all started with Abraham. Why
-
we call him father? Abraham has many sons, many sons?
-
Has Father Abraham? Have you sang that song before? Father
-
Abraham has many sons, many sons? Has Father Abraham? I
-
remember singing this song. I'm like a Paula going here,
-
who's this Abram? Because I was so in New Christian
-
Non you so already know? I read again and again.
-
Oh he Father Abraham really is the start, the one
-
person who believed God to say that. When he had
-
no baby, no child, no son, no daughter, God said,
-
you will have descendants like this stars in the sky.
-
And Abraham looked at outside Genesis fifteen. U see okay?
-
He said, okay you No, there was no Jewish nation.
-
It was birth from Abraham that starts with Father Abraham.
-
Abram was not Jewish or jew He was gentle. But
-
when he said yes God, God accounted to him as righteousness,
-
covered him in righteousness. That's why you and I were
-
not you when we say yes, Lord, we inherit the
-
promise of Abraham, and that promise is in Genesis, chapter twelve,
-
verse one to three. Okay, if you have a Bible
-
turned to Genus is chapter twelve, verse one to three. Now,
-
this uncle Abraham actually comes from the ur of Chaldeans,
-
and this is somewhere in the Middle East, Babylona, something
-
that that part of the world. And then God called
-
him out from his country. So the Lord said to
-
Abram that time, his name Abrahm, not Abraham. Yet, the
-
Abraham is the father of many nations. The Abram is
-
not father of many nations. Further, okay, so now the
-
Lord has said to Abram, get out of your country,
-
from your family, from your father's house, to a land
-
that I will show you. I will make you a
-
great nation. I will bless you and make your name great,
-
and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those
-
who bless you, and I will curse you who curse
-
him who curses you, And in you all the families
-
of the earth shall be blessed. WHOA all right, Now,
-
when you look at that verse one two says get
-
out of your country. He was very comfortable in his
-
own country or of the Chaldeans or Chaldeans mnella. But
-
you know in the because they all came from the
-
lineage of Adam. But many is many, many generations already
-
they may not have known God personally, they know God.
-
But now God was calling out and say, would you
-
leave that land? I'm gonna take you to promised land? Okay?
-
Not now wait, don't know. Oh, time is out, okay.
-
And so then then he say yes, right, and what
-
is the promise? He says. God says, I will bless you,
-
bless you, bless you. You do that in your homes,
-
not oh, bless you, bless you, bless you. And then
-
worse tree is my slide. And in you all the
-
families of the earth shall be bless amen, all the
-
families of the earth, meaning the you is Earth, and
-
the families of the earth. The word earth is if
-
we break it down and you study it, it means
-
all the ethnicity, all the ethnic groups, fne many people groups,
-
They're gonna be blessed. It's not just one group. It
-
was just kept to the Jews. God not only one
-
of the Jews. He wanted them to be the example,
-
but they just lost it. They He never saw it.
-
It's for everyone, So for us today, God has blessed
-
you so that you can be a blessing. God has
-
blessed you. Then you think about you go home and think,
-
or you think now, what did God bless you now
-
that you can use as a blessing to your friend
-
who is not yet a believer or even a believer.
-
What are you blessed with that you can be a
-
blessing a man, which my next lighte says, you are
-
blessed to be a blessing. Maybe not keep what we
-
know to ourselves, but maybe be ready to bring it
-
to others. You have been blessed with finances, You've been
-
blessed with the ability to speak. You've been blessed with
-
skills that others don't have. You have been blessed with
-
knowledge I don't have. You have been blessed with skill
-
use to do sound sound bless you. You're so many
-
things that I'm so limited, but you're blessed. When you
-
are blessed, you are going to be a blessing. You
-
can use your skill for the nation. You build this
-
nation so that the people's here will be blessed. And
-
God wanted that all the time. God he's not a
-
selfish God. He doesn't like you, wash Man, I leave
-
you to die. No, God said I bless you all right.
-
I will move in your life so that you can
-
be a blessing. You stop saying that you don't have
-
you ask the Lord God, you have blessed me with
-
the one gift that I have. What can I do?
-
Is it even to smile at somebody? Nobody smiles at right? Yeah?
-
People who cannot smile right good. But when you smile
-
at emma, they're like, SMI and I do that every day.
-
I'm nice. I love oh loudendl sa hello to me. Yeah,
-
when you smile at them and they're like, what are you smiling?
-
And sometimes a beautiful smile like yours can make somebody's day.
-
It cause you, nothing, didn't cause you an I'm in
-
a leg. Didn't you go to t T at empty
-
to take out my knee? You just smiled, And a
-
beautiful smile is yours again. Sorry, it's going to bless somebody.
-
That's my last light anyway, the most lights. So I
-
want to encourage us. What where does missions I'm not
-
even saying, hey, guys, I want you to go here,
-
go there? I am not saying that you decide what's
-
before us in Malaysia. The nations are before us. They
-
are here. What are we doing to reach any refugees?
-
You know? A long time ago the Somali group in
-
Nilai sight ex Neeli went out to them. They were Muslims.
-
But we help them, the Kneeli team and help them.
-
They are for were grateful. We are no longer doing
-
the work because they've been moved. But they always say
-
when nobody helped us, the church helped us? What did
-
we do? We played with their children, We taught them English.
-
Did they cost us money? A million dollars? You can
-
get to buy toys, to buy colored pencils, to buy
-
English workbooks. The Somali group that were refugees in Malaysia
-
many years back, ex Neili went out to them, and
-
you think it's a big deal, Yes, because they don't
-
know the love of God and I did not preach them. Jesus.
-
We preach the love of Christ to them without telling them.
-
They would have to ask. And they know we are
-
church because nobody helped them until much later. Do you
-
have some color pencils? Your man's very good, because mine
-
isn't teach them you are blessed to be a blessing
-
so that someone gets to receive it. Because the goal
-
of missions is to bring people to worship. Right, yeah,
-
I'm so late. The worship is really why we do missions.
-
These people will come to worship a lot. It's it's
-
missions is a very expensive outreach that we do. I
-
don't know how it's expensive something. I don't know what's
-
the word by etiquette to go, you know, to Russia,
-
not go and do mission trep by ticket to buy
-
even go to East Malaysia has gone up. Everything is
-
gone up. Do I stop doing? I can't. I got
-
to slowly build it up again, to go go deep
-
into the going to the interior because the second generations
-
East Malaysians, our tribes are losing their faith, in fact
-
being converted. So there's so much to be done, so
-
much to be done. There are people who've heard the
-
name Coca Cola, mister bean, but they've never heard the
-
name of Jesus never. So you and I may have
-
heard the name and the gospel preached to you probably
-
ten times over. But there are people who sit in
-
our big cities in the UK, in Germany, in Australia.
-
You get angry, why you want a plant church there?
-
I tell you what. These are the churches. These are
-
the countries that have lost their faith. That's why we're there.
-
It's very slow work, but we need to be liked.
-
And when as long God leads, when God says it's
-
time up, we will leave. We won't be there anymore
-
because we are not Australian. So however, what we plan,
-
we plan to plow as much as we can, and
-
then it's time to go, we go. But that's when
-
God says, go go out, but to go in, and
-
there's no stopping. Go in to do God's work, not
-
to live the better life, the slumber life in Australia.
-
Everybody wants to mi great, eat the good of the land.
-
But are you going to prepare to preach the gospel?
-
No time my child got football, so I cannot do
-
preach gospel. We have so much to answer to the Lord. Friends,
-
we have so much to answer to Jesus. You and
-
I were give an account what we did with our time,
-
what we did with our lives, what we did with
-
our money, what we do with our talents. I don't
-
know what we did with whatever are we had, what
-
did I do with ex church? I will have to
-
give an account if I don't do it right according
-
to God's word. It's not meant to be solemn or
-
scolding you. It's meant to say, guys, wake up. It's
-
time to wake up. Read the Bible, and it's about God.
-
Find out who he is, what he's saying to us,
-
and what can to come near to him, to worship him, amen,
-
to love him, and to serve him at the end
-
of our days, to serve him, not ourselves.
