The Presence Of God - The Way That All May Know | Dr. Chandreshan

We hope this message will light up your tea.

Okay, I'm gonna straight up start. I'm gonna start out

with asking everyone a question. Okay, there's a second round

quiz after quiz.

Okay.

So first my question is to all of you is

what do you think is the greatest need today among people,

be it in church or in the world. What is

the greatest need?

Love? Okay? Love? Anyone else? Any answer? Peace? Okay? Peace

and unity? Unity? What? Wow? Nice? Anyone? Anyone?

Anyone want to get a shot through men, You're gonna

try answer Bible? Wow, holy ely huh believe believes okay, okay, okay, okay,

anyone else? God? Okay, now we're getting there. Okay, okay God, okay,

very good. Okay, thank you for your answers. I asked

the same question the extra comm before the first answer,

I goes money. You know, so the great needs yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

yeah yeah. So you guys you know, much more holier

than okay, yes, you know yes. If your answer is God,

then specifically it would be you know, for the fullness

of God's presence among his people, got his presence among

his people.

So today, you know, I want us to learn together.

We're gonna learn together and experience together about God's presence.

You know, you all might be from a differents, different

age group, different experiences in life. But today let's all

just humbly seek to understand God's presence and also experience it.

I'm going to share an honest message to you with

the desire and hope that all of us will come

back to the place where the entire Bible.

Is leading all of us too.

If we miss this, we miss out on understanding what

God has been doing and still doing for hundreds of years.

So you know the presence of God the way that

all may know. Okay, so what is God's presence? So

describe God's presence. We have to go back to the

beginning of everything, which is Genesis, because this was the

first time He was ever present with his people, and

that's when he created the first man and woman and

places there where in the garden of Eden, you know.

And God existed before all things, and he was very

content and delighted in himself. It didn't make us because

he was lonely or because he needed us. Okay, He's transcendent,

meaning he's exalted his high worth all his creation. But

he is also immanent, meaning he chooses to be present

to his creation, especially his people, in a very personal

and intimate way. So God saw it as a very

good thing to do to create mankind, to glorify him

by bearing his image. And what does he do after

he created Adam and Eish. He begins to relate to them,

He begins to speak to them, and we see these moments,

intimate moments of him together with Adam, and if as well,

you know as well as Adam, and if you know

first out, you can see in Genesis two was fifteen.

It was sixteen got provided for mankind, and the Lord

God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden.

You may freely eat. And then God spoke to men.

You know, he said to them in Genesis first verse

twenty eight, we fruitful and multiply fill the earth and

subdue it. You know, I have dominion over the fish,

over the birds, over every living thing that moves on

the earth. And then he also walked with them Genesis

tree was eight. They says, yeah, they heard the sound

of the Lord God walking in the garden in the

cool of the day.

Literally was walking.

I'm sure you know when you walk, that sound right,

you know, depending on what shoes you're wearing in my

sound in thee that you're walking. So they heard sound

means he was literally walking with them, you know. So

he provides he spoke to them. He walked with them.

They were living in a paradise. In a paradise, they

had every source of nourishment from the every tree, probably

better than any fruit that we will ever have in

our entire lives. Ye on earth, you know, there were

plenty beautiful streams flowing streams of water flowing through the

whole land. They could explore, they could rest, they could play,

have fun, work, all in a perfect paradise garden. But

the best part was that God was with them. They

got to dwell intimately with their creator. There was not

a thing separating them from him, the God of Eden.

Mankind enjoyed a very perfect fellowship with their creator and

experience the blessedness of his presence. But then, but then,

and the man if but you do they disobeyed God's

one command, which is to refrain from eating of the

tree of good and evil. And this single act of

defiance itself ushered into this world that would separate all

of mankind from his presence, which is sin. Because God

is Yeah, God is so holy that he could never

be in contact with sin. It can never be in

communion with sin because he is an all perfect God.

You know, it's all perfect.

God definitely cannot be at the place where there is sin,

because if he could, it would not be considered as God.

You know, really, how can you imagine if you're saying

it's an all perfect God. You know, he created everything

is right, and he alone is right, and then we

can say that he's okay to be with wrong. You

cannot write it just contradicts his perfection. So that's why

he had to separate the world. He had to separate

mankind of all. But he still did not stop there

because he had a love of a loving father, which

constantly made him pursue his children. You know that he

wanted to be among his children. So what he did

he spoke to Noah and then to Abraham. He made

a covenantal promise with Noah and then to Abraham that

he will still be among his children.

Then we see him rescuing, rescuing the children he made

the promise with. He rescued them from Egypt, and he

called them a nation, the nation of Israel.

Okay, so now all this has been done.

You know, they were rescued from Egypt, and God call

them Israel, and Moses led them. And then now we

see in Exodus twenty five was eight to nine. He says, Jah,

and let them go. God tells this to Moses. Let

them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them.

And then I'm gonna read analty, Saysia, Have the people

of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can

live among them. You must build this tabernacle and its

furnishings exactly according to the pattern I will show you.

So.

God tells them that he wants to dwell among his people.

You want to do among people because this has been

his desire since he creates mankind. He wanted to have

an intimate relationship with all of his children. So amidst

the rebellion and the unholiness of his children, he commanded

them to build a tabernacle with great specification and details,

which would be a holy place where he could dwell

among his children.

And the word tabernacle, what does it mean.

It's not very It sounds very fancy, but it just

actually means dwelling place. It's a dwelling place. So you

know the next life, have a picture of how it

would look like. This is how it will look like.

So God commanded them, and everything has a very great

detail and specification of how it should be built because

it met He wanted to meet God's standards and criteria,

you know. And why he wanted to dwell because it's

not just his desire, but he knew that his presence

is needed for mankind.

Why why do you think we need his presence?

My theory will be that the greatest need among our

people is the fullness of God's presence being in Gemis.

And we will talk about this more and more, and

that's big.

And then it begins, you know, it begins afterwards, after

in chapter twenty five, after he said that he gave

them instruction how to be built, and they build it

like this accordingly specifically. After all this happened, then we

come to chapter thirty one in Exodus, where Moses meets

God in Mount Sinai and then he comes down from

the mountain, and you see God's people just reveled against him.

And then now they are worshiping some sort of a

cough and things like that. And God was really really

angry at men. And then Moses was like trying to

be the mediator between God and man. Before God just

banish every man. Then we lead us to Exodus thirty three.

Exedus thirty three was one to six. If you can

read this, okay, this is what the Lord says to Moses.

Are in Exodus thirty three, The Lord say to Moses,

get going, you and the people you brought from the

land of Egypt. Go up to the land I swore

to give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I told them

I will give this land to your descendant, and I

will send an angel before you to drive out the Cannonites, Emrides, Hittites, Parasites,

he Vites, and Jebusides, and go up to this land

that flows with milk and honey. But I will not

travel among you, for you are a stubborn and rebellious people.

If I did, I would surely destroy you along the way.

When people heard these turn words, they went into mourning,

stopped wearing their jewels, and find clothes for the Lord.

I told them.

I told Moses to tell them, you are stubborn and

rebellious people. If I were to travel with you for

even a moment, I would destroy you, remove your jewelry,

and find clothes while I decide what to do with you.

It's just a version of analty, you see. It's God

is just, you know, super angry, and he's saying that

I don't even want to troubt with you for a

single women, have you ever felt that when you're traveling

with someone?

Why am I tuting this person? So that is what

God said.

So you see the contra the contradictory. In chapter twenty five,

God was saying, Billy a sanctuary. I want to be

with y'all. I want to live with y'all. And now

in Exodus Territory is saying that you can have it all,

but I don't want to live with your I don't

want to travel with you, you know. So now Moses

is at a place to choose between God's presence and

God's promises because he was telling you in access Territory,

I will give you all, I'll chase every people out,

I'll give you the land, but I'm not gonna be

with you. Now, Moses has to choose whether he wants

God to be with them and got presence to be

with them, or just to go. It's God's presence in

our context, it might be like this. It might be

he will bless you with good marks in your exams

and your degree, but he won't be with you. He

maybe he will bless you with a good job you

always wanted and provide for your family, but he won't.

Be with you.

What would we do if we were in Moses' shoes.

Let us not be too quick to answers, you know,

but let me warn you all about something, because this

is exactly the brand of Christianity that has been sold

to multitudes of people who have been prayed the prayer

and made the decision to call themselves Christians, but do

not actually want God to be the lord of their lives.

Some maybe think, you know, I can live away what

I want on earth and I will have a seed

reserved for me in heaven because I said the prayer,

I accepted Jesus, so called accepted Jesus in my life.

This is a very blasphemous thought actually that we have

because contrary to popular belief, we don't come to Christ

ultimately to get forgiveness, heaven or abandoned life. No, you

come to Christ to get God, and all his gifts

flows from Him and his presence. Truly, you don't, you know,

this is the thing that we have been really here.

We year a lot from a lot of modern Christianity.

But this is a wrong thought to say that. You know,

when Jesus comes, you'll get it all. You know, you'll

be forgiven, you'll be all, your life will be good

and everything. It's it's not going to be like that.

It's not supposed to be like that, you know, because

we don't ultimately come to God just for forgiveness, abandoned life,

for heaven. We come to Jesus because He gives us God.

And then through God all the promises will flow, all

the gifts will flows.

Ask ourselves this question, honestly, you know, ask yourself this question. Honestly.

We are not tempted in our day, today, lives, and

our ministries to do the work of God apart from

the power of the presence of God. And the evidence

of that is how little we pray. We pray only

when we have needs, only when we are in trouble

or the only thing that we pray about is our world,

our problems, our struggles. Do we honestly believe that it's

all the reason why God wants to do all among us.

That's all the reason God wants to do all among

you and I. You know, in today's world, we have

created a whole lot of holes and means and methods.

There are so many technology that for ministry doing ministry

today that we can carry on with little if any

help at all from.

The Holy Spirit.

We don't have to fast and pray. We got Google

find us solutions, you know, we have YouTube to find

a solution. With all the technologies and things that we

have created that we feel like there's so little need

for us to depend on the Lord. But I'm not

saying that we don't need technologies at all. Okay, but

I'm not saying that. But it is dangerously possible for

you and I to carry on with activities in church, activities.

Of the world.

Whatever that we are doing, it can even be smooth,

and it can even be successful in our eyes, never

knowing or noticing that we are doing it all in

our flesh. Really, we can be doing it all in

your flesh, and you think that the Lord it's there,

but maybe sometimes it's not really there.

It's all our flesh.

So do we know what there's the two greatest barriers

to spreading the gospel today? They are two big barriers.

Do you know what are those? It's not our self indulgence, immorality,

immorality of our culture. It's not all those things. It's

not sin, it's not the progressiveness of the world. It's

nothing to do with that. But it is our self

sufficiency and also us not realizing that God's presence has

long leftists. Yeah, okay, it's like silence for a while.

Okay, So okay, let's go back.

Let's go back to what Moses did when he faced

the prospect of having God's promise to apart from God's presence. Okay,

so now, Exodus Territory, verse twelve to seventeen, he says

he one day, Moses says, to the Lord, you have

been telling me take these people up to the promised Land,

but you haven't told me whom you will send with me.

You have told me I know you by name, and

I look favorably on you. If this is true that

you look favorably on me. Let me know your way

so I may understand you more fully and continue to

enjoy your favor. Remember that this nation is your very

own people. The Lord replied, I will personally go with you, Moses,

and I will go. I will give you rests. Everything

will be fine for you. Ll was fifteen that Moses said,

if you don't personally go with us, don't make us

leave this place. How will anyone know that you look

favorable on me, on me and on your people if

you don't go with us, For your presence among us

sets your people and me apart from all the other

people on the earth. The Lord replied to Moses, I

will indeed do what you have asked for. I look

favorably on you, and I know you by name. That

was the Lord's replied to Moses. Now we come back

to one of the barriers. One of the reasons why

the gospel can spread today and there's a barrier among

Christians is self sufficiency. Now, one of the greatest reasons

we need God's presence here to be with us is

because we have an assignment that we cannot fulfill. Moses,

you know why, Moses know that he is not able

to do what God is calling him to do. He

knows that he cannot lead God, lead God's people into

the Promised Land apart from the presence of God. He

knew if at all Moses actually did try, was like, okay, yeah,

the Lord has promised me. I'm okay, God, bye bye.

I'm just gonna go to the promised land. You know,

the people will perish, they will die. I know they

were in the wilderness for forty years, you know, not

forty days. They were in a wilderness for forty years.

They were wore the same clothes fourty years. You will grow, right,

the clothes grow with them. And nothing happened to the clothes.

You know.

They were forty years moving like that, So that itself,

you know, it was because of the Lord with them.

But imagine if yeah, the Lord promised me all your

you will have the land flowing with murk and honey,

but I'm not going to be with you. Moses knew

in his mind that he cannot lead the people without

God's presence because the obvious truth is only God can

do God's work.

You know? Is this An author is in theology named

Jonathan Edwards.

He says it is the will of God that when

he has something very great to accomplish for his church,

it will be preceded by extraordinary prayers of his people.

So you can take a look at our culture today.

There's divorce increasing, you know, they are failing leaders in politics.

There's hunger, there's poverty, displacement, war, turmoil, obscenity, and secular thoughts,

you know, like you know, there's secular thoughts, and there

is this obscenity and everything that right now it's so

accessible to even younger children, which will we are facing

right now, and it's overtaking the next generation, you know,

and you know, there's just so much happening, and not

to mention there are three billion people in this world,

in this world who have never even heard the Gospel

at least one time, And not to mention all the

challenges that we face in our personal lives and our families,

you know, parenting, you know, the wilderness of this world,

the depression, the anxiety, the addiction, the drugs, suicide and.

All these things.

Do we really think we can combat all of these

with our creativity, our education and our expertise alone, and

our work and our effort. Do we really think we

can combat all these things. No God has to deliver

us from dependence on our self dependence. You know, we

can never have sermons that are good enough. We can

never counsel enough, we can never evangelize enough. We can

never shepherd enough. We can never you know, shepherd our home,

our own homes enough, in.

Our church enough.

We cannot reach the next generation, the next the nations

in our own power.

We can never do all these.

We need the power of God, you know, in this

wilderness around this world, and I see around the world,

I see among our people, I see around me. The

only thing that gives me peace is that God's presence

is in the midst of us in this wilderness. Really,

so all these means that we have to fall on

our faces and pray. Do you believe you can accomplish

more in the next month with the power of the

Holy Spirit than you can in your own power over

the entire duration of your life? Do you believe you

can accomplish more with the Only Spirit in just one

the next one month, more than what you have done

for your entire life. If you believe it, with me,

you pray, pray for this to take place.

You gotta pray.

The second barrier the unrealization of God's presence departing from us.

Sometimes you don't realize it. Let's turn to Judges sixteen,

who was nineteen to twenty. This is a favorite man

in the Bible. His name is Samson. You know, he

was known to have a nice beard. So that's one

reason I don't shave my beard. So so it was

nineteen twenty. Delilah llulled Samson to sleep with his head

in a lab and then she called in a man

to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In

this way, she began to bring him down, and his

strength left him. Then she cried out, Samson, and the

fee and have come to capture you. When he woke up,

he thought, or I will do as before and shake

myself free, But he didn't realize. He didn't realize that

the Lord had left him. So the Philistines captured him

There's some of us.

We go through motions in church. We come to church

every week. Sometimes even our prayers are answered, our needs

are met. We think we are okay, but not realizing

that God's presence is no longer with us. Why because

we also lay our hands on the lap of the

world and of the religion.

Father. You know, our father in heaven is a very

loving father.

Just like how he kept to the promise with Moses

of blessing them with the promised land. It will still

do it for us. He will still do it for us.

But would he follow us? Would he follow us? The

problem here is that most of us don't realize that

whether He's still with us or not, we have to

come to a hard realization that not all good things

mean that God is with us. Really doesn't mean just

because our life is so good. You know, I have everything,

whatever I ask for is here. That doesn't mean God

is with you. God can even be in the very worse,

the worst situation of your life, the most struggling situation

of your life.

God will be there.

But sometimes you won't be in the worst, best and

amazing happy situation.

In your life.

I personally experienced this in a very very hard way,

you know. Ten years ago ten nine eight years ago,

I was I was a cricket player. I used to

play for Malaysia. If you can't believe, Agay, it's okay,

It's okay.

So it was very good.

I was quite successful, one of the best at the

nature in Malaysia at that time. So I was dreaming

that I'll be playing in league globally, I'll be a

professional athlete. You know, I thought God was with me,

you know, I thought God was with me and blessing

me all the while, because I prayed before every game,

you know, every match.

I'll prayed before. You know.

I even had you know, when you play creer use

a bad and I had Philippian's for thirteen Return of

My Bad. I did it before Steph Curry did it

if you ever know Steph Curry.

So you know.

So I was doing all these things, you know, while

laying my head on the lap of the world every day,

living life, enjoying the blessing that I had received, enjoying

a very wrong way. Then I had a back injury,

a very bad one that made me lose my entire career.

I know, I do.

That's why I'm here, okay, you know, so lose my

entire career. And I was very angry with God. I

was really really angry with God. I shouted out to God,

and he spoke to me. The first thing I heard

his voice asked me, who are you? I don't know you.

I don't know you. I realized that all that while

he did not know me personally, because he had probably

left me long ago. That moment I decided to say,

that does not matter if he heals me or if

he does not. I will live my life just one

thing to know him more, live for him, live with him.

Healed me after that, miraculously, but I knew it did

not heal me to go back to where I was

at and gave up with that dream which I had

since I was nine years old, and gave it up.

But since then, you know the number of times I

was tempted to go back to training and go back

because I thought, well, I can really get this bag,

you know, I can really do it. And looking at

my friends still being out there and playing internationally and stuff,

and I see that I always feel like I wish,

you know, but what I know. And even then I

picked up powerlifting, you know, then I chose not to.

I picked up powerlifting actually because that I can compete myself.

But then til God had to remind me again of

his presence. Then I choose not to compete. Then I coach,

and I coached, And that's what the fruit of it,

which is, if you all know Dominatet, I've ever met

dominated before.

It's in extra commong.

It's one of our boys from a very underprivileged community.

But now it's representing Malaysia, you know. So it's it's

but I had to I had to say no. I

had to stick to what God had given me, stick

to the presence of the Lord.

It's hard walking in his presence. It requires faith to

trust in the unseen things, obedience to follow, even when

it's not something we want to do.

Not everyone wants to come early church. Everybody can sleep

a little longer. And it's raining outside, such a nice weather,

and I woke up today morning. Oh it's such a

nice weather.

Sleep.

But it's not always easy, and it's not always what

we want to do, you know. It's always what the

law wants us to do, you know, and submission to

trust that God knows what is better for us. See,

I'm very perfect. I make a lot of mistakes. I

make mistakes. I make a lot of them even now

until now. But there's one thing and one mistake I'm

very careful of not repeating it again.

It is to walk away from His presence.

Even if it's so good to my eyes, I don't

want to do it if there's no God's presence. I'm

very careful because I learned in a very very hard way,

so I'm very.

Careful not to repeat it again. It could be the

most thing that we really want in our life.

But God's presence is not going to be there, then

Am currently doing my PhD in UPM in you Development.

So like in July, I submitted my my thisss proposal

and I did a seminar on it because it's a requirement,

you have to do all those things.

So I did it, uh it.

It came out to be one of the best out

uncommon thing to happen, uh in in PhD life. If

you ever met anyone doing it, anyone, yere yeah. So

but I realized why this was possible after it was

all done. This I completed before I submitted this one,

I completed like three four proposal three or four of

it actually, and all every time I did it and

completed it, I always felt that, actually, there's no God here,

even though this is what my supervisor wanted. Is what

I liked the way someone it. I liked it the

way it was with I was. I wrote it, and

and I was right now that it was accepted and

all the major corrections. But finally when I wrote the

fourth one, I asked God to lead me to do it.

Lord, you do it your way, you know.

I just want to follow what you are made to do,

because I was very doubtful of it because of what

I'm doing something right now it's like literally never done

in Malaysia. And his method is something that even when

supers don't know. But it was accepted and I was

reminded again because it was God in it. It was

not me, It was God in it. And I just

obeyed in his way. And oftentimes we fail. We have

failed to go after his face because we go after

his hands. We're always going after his hands himself, his face.

We abuse the blessing that we have been given to

win the world. We sell out on our faith in

return for the blessings. Alon you rather want a comfortable life.

You want to buy new things, earn more money, buy houses,

buy car, go off the titles, social status.

You know nothing wrong with being blessed with all that.

I'm not.

That's not what I'm I'm trying to say. But it's

if if if our focus is all on that alone

and not on the hurting world that we are supposed

to be the answers, then.

We are wrong. Then we are wrong.

If you think it's hard to live in God's presence,

let me break it to you. It's hard to live

without God's presence. If the spirit of the Lord has

left you, you would lose direction, just like Sampson got

his eyes gouged down.

You might not know where to go, what to do.

If anytime you find yourself, if you find yourself lost

or direction less in life, or without sense of purpose

in life, asks yourself whether the Lord is with you

or not, Because where the spirit of the Lord is,

there's not just freedom, there is purpose, there is direction,

there is vision. Delviie Sampson, he didn't even realize the

Lord's presence left him, and he was left directionless. So

I want to allude us to Second Kings twenty three,

Verse seven just for a while on emphasize on the

presence of God again and again church. You know, in

verse seven he says that he also tore down the

living quarters of male and female shrine prostitutes that were

inside of the Temple of the Lord where women where

the women wove coverings for the Ashirah. Paul s yeah,

this story he starts with King Josiah, where when he

started to rule Judah and Jerusalem, he started to tear

down everything that defiled God's house. You see here that

in the Temple of the Lord, where God is supposed

to be dwelling, had homosexuals and prostitutes living, and they

were okay because they felt nothing was going to happen

to them. Even after yeving the histories of many who

have died going into the temple unholy. You know, if

you read Exodus and you read level Tickets and all,

you will see how holy you have to be to

even enter the Temple of the Lord. You have to

cleanse yourself. You have to, you know, put on certain clothes.

You cannot touch something underated, you cannot have blood on

you cannot. You will die when you enter his presence.

Even the sons of erin erin the highest priests. The

high priests died entering into the tavel of the Lord unholy.

But these in the temple of the Lord, these were

they were not even aware that God's presence was not there.

When God's presence is withdrawn, sin abounds. Let's check our

hearts again, are we repeating the same sin? Are we

not growing spiritually and comfortable where we are at because

we might be in danger. Maybe the spirit of the

Lord has already departed from us.

Yes, you have to check. We have to ask what

shall we do?

Now.

Let's go back to Exodus to the three again. And

it was he that was eight year.

He says, whenever Moses went out to the tent of meeting,

all the people will get up and stand in the

entrances of their own tents, they will all watch Moses

until he disappeared inside. And as he went into the tent,

the villa of cloud would come down and hover at

its entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses. When the

people saw the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent,

they would stand and bow down in front of.

Their own tents.

Inside of the tent of the meeting, the Lord would

speak to Moses face to face as one speaks to

a friend. So whenever Moses went out to the tent

which is the tabernacle, I showed you just now if

you sort of remember the picture, so imagine this with

me again. You just pictured this with me because I

can't get everyone to act it out. So so you know,

whenever Moses when goes out to the tent which is

the tabernacle, actually, just now all the people so they

are tents around, so these are they are still in,

you know, in their journey to the Promised Land. Imagine

there's the tabernacle and then everyone just living tense stands

they're living around in tents and when when they when

they year that okay, Moses, Moses is going to enter.

Then hey, Moses is going to enter the tendler and

everyone will be What they will do is they will

actually come out of their own tent. They will and

they will stand at their tent door and they will

watch Moses walk. Imagine now the the tent of the meeting,

which is the tabernacle, is far away, and then all is,

you know, just people stand living. And then when Moses

get out, get ups and he he's walking, and then

everyone is just outside of the tent. Everyone stopped doing

whatever they're doing, and they are in front of their tent.

And then they see Moses walking into the tent of

meeting until he goes inside. Then they will see a pillow,

just a pillar of clouds stand at the entrance of

Worshiping while Moses is having a conversation with the Lord

face to face as a man speaks to his friend.

It's quite amazing, right, this is Yahweh, God of all creation,

speaking with Moses face to face as a man speaks

with his friend. So we have a moment I one

speak with his friend imagine Okay, yeah, Truman and.

You know? Friends, how would you talk to a friend?

How would you embrace your friend? You know you're probably

hunger for it more and more.

But do you know what's more amazing? You know what

you say?

Yeah, this was just the trailer. Isn't it good that

we have no longer need together to watch one person

go into the tent? Imagine all extra together than you

watched past the canon. We're all just looking at him

going inside to the tent, whatever way thing for him

to come back, or this is what I've heard from

the Lord. So you no longer need to do that,

isn't it amazing because for all of us here in Christ,

you have excessed any time anywhere. It's the presence of

your way. You don't have to go anywhere, you don't

have to find a tent. You are the tent. His

presence dwells inside of you. You have communion with God

any time, anywhere, with this almighty God. And so why

would we not spend extraordinary time seeking him? Why why

do we take it for granted? Sometimes we have an

open invitation to be with God. So let us long

to be with God when we are alone, when we

are together, when we come together, let's realize who we

are meeting. We should be crying out, Lord, I want

to know you more, Lord, I want to hear you.

Was we should be laying out, laying everything aside, because

because we want him. You know, in Second Chronicles, when

Solomon finishes his prayer and fire will come down from

heaven and consume the burn offering sacrifices, the glory of

the Lord filled the temple. Even the priests could not

enter the house of the Lord anymore because the glory

assembly of men and women, you know, they all gathered

and children gathered to him out of Israel. For people

who wept bitterly in the presence of God?

What did they do?

They pray, they make confessions, they weep, they cast themselves

down before God.

Why are these pictures.

So rare and gathering of God's people today? Why why

are we not spending much time like this? Sometimes we

don't even see. It's so rare to even see people hardly,

you know, raise their hands to worship, or hardly seeing

out loud. Sometimes when these were men, when they saw God,

they were on their knees. When they know they were

gathering together, they were on their knees, they were weeping

and confessing their sins. Why is it so rare to

see these things in church today? Have we forgotten Oh

that we are meeting with? Have we forgotten.

Church? Have we forgotten who that we are meeting with?

We have no less reason to be in awe than

our forefathers in the Old Testament and faith. We must

give ourselves to seeking his presence because we have this

privilege to Jesus Christ that we cannot forsake, even if

it comes with a great cause for us. We shall

never forsake this, because it came with a great cause

for us. And John Chapter one was fourtein and the

word became flesh and dwells among you. And we beheld

this glory and the glory as of the only begotten Father,

full of grace and truth. And God dwell among us

through Jesus. And we can see this glory now through

a man. But Jesus died bearing all our sins, and

he resurrected, defeating death once and for all. And he

has sentded back to heaven. But he did not just

leave everyone like that. He left this holy space. Yeah,

for each one of us here. It's a really good thing,

you know that Jesus left the earth. Because now it's

not the fullness of God's presence in one man, his

fullness of God's presence on all his people. The dwelling

place of God is us. For Scrinthians six, verse nineteen says,

don't you not realize that your body is a temple

of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was

given to you by God. The glory of the Lord

dwells in our body.

Church. We must never be casual with sin. Let us be.

Holy because you are always holy, for we possess is presence,

which means no matter what the wilderness of the world

brings us, we are never ever alone.

Please do this. We don't miss this Church. You're missing

this most of the time.

We're really missing out because when the people in Old

Testimony and the People of God, when they transport the Tabernacle,

it was a picture to the surrounding nations that God,

the glory of God's presence is among his people. And now,

with our bodies as his dwelling place, we transport his

glory wherever we go.

The wonder of the Gospel.

God's glory can now be seen in temples everywhere. Ooh, you,

every one of you who's carrying his glory. You are

the temple. And I would all may know there are

three point two billion people in the world at this

moment with no access to Gospel of Jesus. Really, the

three point two billion of people with no access at all,

because there are no Christians with the glory of Christ

dwelling among them. We cannot be content to turn a

blind eye and a death year to three billion people

who have not seen the glory of God in the

face of Jesus Christ. And if we do not, if

we don't go to them, then three billion people will

continue to be born and live and die and go

to an eternal hell, separated from the glory of God's

presence forever and ever. So let us spread the glory

of God's presence among all the nations until the end comes,

until we see the glory of God's presence in a

new creation where the dwelling place of God will be Heaven.

Now we see the same language in Genesis, in Acodus,

in Revelation twenty two, in twenty one, he will dwell

with us.

And God himself will be with us.

There's no temple needed in that place, because that place

itself is the temple. There's no need for Holy of Holies,

because the place itself is the Holy of holies. We

will see there be a day where we will see

his face and we will delight in His presence, and

that moment our wilderness journey will be over. We will

finally be at home, and there will no more be sins.

There will be no more sorrows, there will be no

more suffering, there will be no more hard days, there

will be no more sleepless nights. There will be no

more heartaches. There will be no more brokenness. There will

be no more loneliness. There will be no more emptiness.

There will be no more discouragement. There will be no

more depression. There will be no more cancer, there will

be no more diseases, and there will be no more death.

In the presence of God. He will personally wipe every

tear from our eyes. Oh, this is what little in

this word. He will personally wipe every tear from our eyes.

Or no matter what you're going and going through, Oh

there is an end to it. We just see a

temporary church. We are immigrants here. Our home is not yet.

And when we go home to be with the Lord,

there'll be no more pain. There be no more fear.

There as normal sickness, none of this. He's gonna wipe

every tear of your eyes, matter what you have gone through,

what you are going through. But if we long for

his presence on that day. Let us pursue his presence today.

Don't forsake today. Let us go to the place where

we are crying out to meet him today. No hate, knowledge,

no expository, no debates, no experience, no good deeds, no

religion can get us there.

Just be your hunger and desperation.

Can get us to be in His presence, because the

fullness of God's presence among us is knowing no matter

what the wilderness of the world may bring us in

our way, Oh God is with us, and he will

walk with us. This is exact word I remember I

heard when I got saved about twelve years ago. I

didn't get saved in the church or in anything. I

was saved in my chemistry lab in my high school.

I still remember where. It was, my chemistry teacher, you

know where. I was literally angry with life. I was

very angry of everything that I've gone through young, growing

up young, with my brokenness and my family, with the

poverty that we were in. I was just really, really angry.

I still remember I was even in a sling because

in my heart I was broken arm and I went

to her and I told her, why would God want

us to go through all these challenges.

Why life has to be hard? Why do we need

to face all these things? Why is it like this?

I still remember she told me one thing, Chanda, will

always be hardship in life. Life will always be hard forever.

But there's one man who's willing to walk with you

through all of it. And that man is Jesus, which

you want to walk with him? At that moment, I said,

oh yes, I would love this man to walk with me.

I would love to walk with this man. I may

have may, I may have falled, but he has always

picked me up. So Church, you know we're going to

spend time praying. My heart cry here? Right is that

no one goes back home the same way we came in.

I want each of us to see God's presence right now.

He wants to dwelling us. It's a father that longs

for each of his children to seek him, come back

to him and have a deep and intimate relationship with him.

It does not He does not want to leave you alone.

He wants us to cry out to him, to feel

us in his Even if you have known him already,

can we today seek his glory again just like Moses did?

You know. Jeremiah thirty three, verse three says the call

to me, I will unswer you and show you great

and mighty things which you do not know. Can you

call upon him right now, and it will reveal to
