Today. I'm just wanna share with us a story from

the Bible, from the New Testament, and we're gonna look

at the life of zachaus Semen. All right, everybody says

a chaous or do you know him? Do you have

a friend by the name of Zachaias? Do you have

I have a friend by name he? I mean he's

passed on already, but and he really looked like this

is a case. Yeah, and we'll find out why. Okay,

So I'm gonna get Truman to read us the book.

The chapter right is you have to stand and when

you come in from so did you bring your bibles?

Let's turn to Luke chapter nineteen, verse one to ten,

and Truman's gonna help us read lout loud, all right,

so they can all here and you can follow through

with your Bible. If you brought your Bible, your e Bible,

just read along with your eyes as Truman will read

it out a loud for us so we can celebrate

God's wood. Amen, go ahead, trumany host mm m.

And amen, mm amen.

And hm. That all mm hmm amen to the reading

of God's word. Hallelujah. Amen. Some of you may have

been very familiar with this chapter, and this is the

chaous Amen. So we're going to look at the chaos

a life that's been transformed. Amen. But how how did

this happen? And who is this a chaous? Okay, So

we're gonna just break it down a little bit. Now,

Jesus who was actually on his way to Jerusalem. Why

was he on the way to Jerusalem. He was actually

heading towards his death. He was going to die for

every person who had ever lived on who would ever

live on the face of the earth. He was going

to the cross. He was going for Zachaiyas as well

for all of us. So he was actually on his

way to Jerusalem, and he went by the Jericho Road. Now, people,

how many of you remember another story that happened on

the Jericho road? What happened on the Jericho road? Anybody?

Was another situation that happened at the Jericho road. Somebody

was walking on the Jericho Road. And then yes, there

was a good Samaritan. But the man who was beaten

was not the good Samaritan. He was a Jewish brother walking.

So the road is actually a very dangerous road. It's

a road where people get attacked, get robbed. And you know,

in our lives we all have a bit of a

Jericho road right right now in our lives, we have

a loss. In our lives, we have a rejection. Maybe

we fail, maybe someone hurt us, maybe we are angry

with somebody's I know, things happen. Our boss is not

nice to us. It's like our Jericho road. It's a

dangerous road. It's a road we don't like to dig,

but it happens. We all have our Jerichos, right, And

so Jesus was going to walk through the Jericho Road

because he was going to go to Jerusalem, and he

went through the city of Jericho because he had an

appointment that day. Wow, come on, right, how many of

us know? Sometimes it's not an accident that Jesus went

through the road by the Jericho Road and entered the

city of Jericho. Because it says that Jesus entered and

passed through Jericho. Now the word is passed through, meaning

he did not stay overnight, He did not stay in

a ruma tumpangan or tell Tree treaty. No he didn't

stay overnight because actually Jericho is not a nice place.

It's actually a place that was cursed back in the

day when Joshua, when the first city they overcame and

they marched seven times around the Jericho wall, and it

was they conquered it, but it was cursed. So nobody

wants to go to Jericho. But there was a city

and people live there. So Jesus said he was going

to pass through. But meanwhile, while he was walking through,

he had an appointment. Anyway, so there was this man

called Zachaius, and we're gonna look at Zachaias now before Yeah,

we can look at this now, who is this Zachaias? Right,

So this Zachaias was a chief tax collector or another

word that they used to call is publican. You could

find in Matthew they used the word publican. He was

a tax collector. Why was he a text collector? He's

actually a Jewish man, he's of their own culture. But

the Roman Empire had taken over Israel and were now

the ruling empire, and they were hiring the local people

to help take Texas. All right. Of course, the local

people like, why shouldn't I pay taxs, right, I don't

recognize you. There was this thing going on between the

Jewish people and the Roman Empire, so of course they

were gonna go around hiring. So the Roman Empire were

put up looking for a job. You know, tax collector

wanted job available for you. So you got no job.

You want to work, kill how you work. But most

of the Jewish people will not want to work for

the Roman Empire because to do that is to give

up your your Roman identity, your Israel or your Jewish identity.

And then you go and jumpo dougan. You know you're

going mix with this group of Romans who are like scoundrels. Right,

So they would think a hundred times. But there was

this guy called the Chaos who actually served under the

Roman Empire. He would have been paid quite a lot,

or he made his own rules because he not only

did he joined the text department LHDNA. So not only

joined the tax department, he was the chief officer. Hello,

he was at the top, you know, not only just

going work. He became the top guy, top guy. Right.

He was very rich and we all know why because

he would over text people all right, happens everywhere He

was very rich. He became rich because that history tells

us they would they would take more than they're supposed to. Okay,

take texts ten percent, but they take more. Okay, most

of us pay a text fee. I don't even want

person pay certain but this is more than the ten

more than a twenty percent, Okay, he would ask for more.

And to be that kind of person to do that

means he's heart very hot. Now he's like greedy for money,

dank jung yng yang and all. And then the thing

you off with your head if you don't pay you know,

and uh so how do you become rich? Because if

you're a government serven, you have a salary should be enough.

But this man was very rich, all right. And then

he wanted to see Jesus. He heard about this Jesus.

Who's this Jesus? I want to see who you know?

I'm the chief teks collector. I know everyone. I take

money for everyone. Who is this Jesus? Maybe? Oh, why

did he want to see Jesus? Maybe another question? Why

did he want to see Jesus? He was a very

rich man. He had everything he wanted that he wanted,

or did he have everything that he wanted. Was there

a lack inside of him? Why did he want to

see Jesus? Didn't matter who Jesus was, because this is Jesus.

Some people say he was the son of God. Some

people say, oh, I don't know. He's a good teacher.

Others like wanted to stone him. So why would this publican,

this text collector wanted to see Jesus. So when you

read the Bible, you have to use your imagination a

little bit la all of us learning. I saw learning.

So he wanted to see Jesus. If you read the

scripture here, it says that now behole Zachaia's chief text collector,

very rich. And then he sought to see I wanted

to see who Jesus is called okay, I want to

see who is this Jesus Capola. I want to see

who's this Jesus? But but look at that line. I

want you to follow through the verse on your Bible,

it says. But he could not because why because of

the crowd. For he was off short stature, I said,

small stature. I was trying to be kind, not nice

to got people shot. I'm also shot, so vertically challenged.

He was a chief tax collector but he was all small,

and you know, and people are chief tex collector and smaller,

they tend to be a bit bossy, isn't it right?

All right? So maybe he had not a very good

reputation already. Number one, you are Jewish and you work

for the Roman Empire. Number two you're short, and then

you're so gotrang? Are you? Is this right? So he

couldn't see Jesus because of the crowd and because he

was shot. So what happened? He then ran ahead and

he climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus, for he

was going to pass that way. So characteristic of this person, okay, um?

It was that this man hated by everyone. Nobody liked him.

He wanted to see Jesus why he was shot, and

he couldn't actually see Jesus because the crowd was in

front of him, so he decided to climb the tree.

Now before that, do you know what the word zayas mean?

The names that chaos? Now all of you have a name, right,

and all of your names have a meaning. I hope

your name is not a chong okay nolah? Yeah? Amis

hallow little dog or hallo worm a chong A Chunda

chong DIAI you know candonis. I'm from k Canthonese, so

we speak Anthonese. So you call names to our children

and they actually call people like that you know, means

very shorty, shorty, come here. I don't know why they

do that, right, they don't call the name. Oh his

name is Benjamin. No shorty, you called him no do

no do Benjamin? All right, so he wanted to see Jesus.

His name is called the chairs. So what do you

think that his name meant ye pure and innocent, war,

pure and innocent when he was born, like baby ray

benj Benjies and Michell's so cute. You want to call

him pure and innocent? Then grow up become a hantu.

Yeah all right, because look at him now, he's like

give me, give me, give me, I want to fifty percent.

Oh your name is give me more, give more. He's

like no, like like really bullying people to get more

money instead of what was supposed to be the amount. Right,

he asked for more. His name was pure and innocent.

I'm sure when parents look at this baby and they

thought so pure and innocent. Let's call him the chaos

but he lived totally opposite of pure and innocent, right,

you right? But you know he wanted to see Jesus.

Jesus had to go through the Jericho Road to come

and see. To go to Jerusalem, he passed by, and

Chaos lived in Jericho. And so when we tried to

learning to look at things, Jericho not the best place.

We all have our Jericho's, We all have had our challenges.

So the problem is doing stay in Jericho and do

we let the Jericho Road dictate our future and our

present because that could be our past because of our pain,

because of who we've become. And so Jesus walked through

this dangerous road just to get to the city of Jericho.

And this is what happened. He walks in walks. Okay,

I have to show you the tree, right, Can you

show them the tree? This sycamore tree. Another name for

it is called the mulberry tree. It is a type

of fig tree. Now todays nobody wants to eat the

sycamore fike because it's not very nice. Every fer other

fig trees. All right, if you go to Germany and

you visit, good and Doris I had fixed every morning fresh,

so eat, are you so go visit them? Okay, all right,

but this is how the tree looks like when I

was in Jerusalem and I was there and the two

a guy was taking us and said, this is the tree.

It's kase climb you know now, like hello, there is

two thousand years more ago, how can the tree still

be there? Say no, this is a tree. Okay, it's

not this particular picture, but this is a picture of

a type of sycamore tree that's in Jerusalem. And look

at the the bark. It's got very thick bark. And

then the kids had to climb this tree to get

onto the branches. Mind you, the bark doesn't look like

you can just climb. My yes, to have claws to climb, right,

But he's not a cat or a dog or whatever.

A dog sometime trees. But it's a bit smooth. I

don't know how he managed to get up, but remember

he was small, all right, so here to climb onto

the branches. And so if you go to it's a Jerusalem,

they will tell you that this is the tree that

the kao is climb. And I'm like, hahu, all right,

but mind you, this sycamorphic tree has such a deep

root system and the roots are When I was teaching

this and Elder Terence told me, hey, the width of

the roots is like I think he said to M. Defeat. No,

that's quite a lot, right. The roads will be that

thick anyway. Apparently it's not easy to kill this tree.

You chop it off, it will not die. So maybe

that's why the sycamoretre is still standing there. I don't know.

I don't know. Lah, Okay, the root system is ready now.

Trees have very deep root systems, but different types of

trees have even more deep roots system all right, so

that's why they maybe there is still existing like okay,

And he climbed up, and it's not easy to climb, right,

but he climbed up and he sat on the branch

and he waited. Honestly, he doesn't know what Jesus looks like.

Can I say to you, nobody knows what Jesus looks like?

Why because Jesus didn't look like anything near like Junko.

Jesus didn't know like anything like justin Kimbalay, I know

it was your Tom Cruise, very good looking or no

James Bond and opious Brosnan hansome ag look at Jesus

looked like nothing like that. According to Isaia fifty three,

he looked like just a normal guy, the normal dude

he didn't even know, like John Travota, you know, uh,

you know what Saturday night fever right, his tall guys

walking nothing. Jesus looked like the everyday Jewish man, like

with the beard. He's Middle Eastern, he's tan like every

other fisherman, like every other carpenter. So nobody knows what Jesus.

What did Jesus look like? That's why Judas, when he betrayed,

he had to say, the one that I kiss, that's Jesus.

You catch him. So imagine Jesus been sitting in the

temper every day teaching, and yeah they can they cannot

recognize Jesus. Something very strange, right is every day I see, yeah,

teach you. And then you still say, I don't know

who is right, So I must have enough, like we say,

not all of us have our individual and our face

and official recognition. Now okay, but they couldn't tell which

one was Jesus, maybe because they had a hood or

not they wore on the thing, so they didn't know.

So he also don't know I heard about Jesus. I

just wait on the tree there with scoatting on the tree.

You know, are you show my first picture? Now the

first picture. You see how he's squatting there they are

the first first picture. Oh, I'm sitting on on on

and no waiting there waiting So he doesn't know. So

how INDI end? Well, he know who is Jesus. It

is Jesus who went right at that spot and looked

up and said, boy, come down, stop being a come down.

Jesus walk right at the spot where the chaos was,

and he said, the Chaos, I'm coming to your house

today for tea. Are you readys? Like? What? What? Because

everybody hated him? Right? Nobody wants a friend him right,

nobody even wants to know his name, Like I can't

even say your name like pure because you are like

the one who cheats you cheetah right there, Chaos. Remember

we are not Hebrew. The people who are Hebrew will

know I'm calling you pure and innocent. You are nothing

but innocent, So they cann't call his name. But Jesus said,

Jesus even knew his name, said, Chaos, I'm coming to

your house today, I need to be at your house

for tea. Are you coming down? WHOA said chaos, Like

what Jesus, this, this is Jesus. I'm coming down. And

so he came down the tree, right, and he said,

make Hayes come down because I'm gonna stay in your house.

So he quickly came down and he received him joyfully. Wow,

this Jesus even knows my name. Say my name, say

my name. Nobody want to say his name because like

a right Jesus calls his name pure and innocent. Come down,

everybody down there, like Jesus, you know not? Are you

sure not? He's pure and innocent? Hello, you are Jesus.

You got no descern man, Jesus, you have no discern man. Huh,

how can you be a prophet? You don't even know that?

He's this nonsense man. Right, he's such a cheeter. And

then he's so happy like yeah, and I'm walking on sunshine.

Yeah yeah, I'm walking on sunshine. And he opens his

house and he has this big party barbecue. Right, he's

got all the less and nice sat nopalok okay, so

and Jesus is there. They're eating. But guess what. Look

at verse seven now the new King James doesn't write

it as well as perhaps an IV or another version.

It is, but when they saw it, another version uses

the word. But when the crowd. So when the crowd

saw this happening, they all began to say, he has

gone to be a guest with a man who is

a sinner. So people were talking. So when everybody talks

in a low hush voice, how does it sound like

very loud ma? What is he doing? He is going

to this chiller sinner. He's a cheetah is he should

go to hell? Well, and you are going to his houses?

Everybody's talking. The crowd had something to say. Okay, hold

that thought. So Uncle Zachaias goes goes to his house,

welcomes Jesus. Because the feathered cap has our doing everything.

It's called kebobs. By the way, in Malaysia we call

it sata, but you know over there it's called kebob. Yeah,

And I'm a come ke bob blah good but blah

yam kobob lamb goodbob and good bob. So they were

going to have kebabs, and so they're eating, and then

Zachaeas in the midst of all that so happy, like

smiling my head and like nobody wants to come to

my house, but Jesus wants to come to my house.

And he gets up and immediately he says, Lord, look,

I will give half of my goods to the poor.

And if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation,

I restore four four? What changed that day? Anyone heard

him say the sinners prayer? Salvation prayer? Anybody? It's not recorded.

Did he say salvation prayer? No, Jesus coming to my No,

there was, there's no salvation prayer. But Jesus came to

his house because he said, yes, come to my house. Amen.

So this is where we're saying, there's this great exchange

and all of us have experienced it or will experience it,

you know, will continue to experience the great exchange. Okay,

but I want to take you to that exchange first

and then I'll carry on from there. So what was

this exchange? This exchange? Says he was someone who was

not liked. Agreed. I mean, most of us don't like

to do our lhd and thing right. Why does the

text department have to send you reminders? I don't understand

people pity pity, And now I thought, suker, you all

you know you don't pay your pity pity, And then

as an employer, I have to work for you by

cutting your salary and pay the government pity pity and people,

please pay up your loan. Not going to get free

education unless your scholarship holder. So a lot of people

don't want to pay text. Sometimes we also bi salah,

pay live, pay up, pay up, all right, and you

don't like So he was not liked mainly because he

was a cheeter. He was, you know, taking more than

he should. That's how he became rich. He became arrogant

his own brothers and his own people. He was taking

more than he should. So people didn't like him. But

guess what Jesus chose to eat at his house that day.

Jesus chose to eat at your house today maybe some

of us, No nobody might like us, nobody might understand us,

might not know our background, but Jesus would eat at

his house. He was a man of small stature, but

that day when Jesus called his name, he felt like

he was a giant. Were just sang about giants falling,

so he felt he was six feet tall. I'm walking

on sunshine. Yeah, yeah, I don't care what you say,

but I'm walking on sunshine. He was six feet tall.

He went home. He you know, cut the feathered cap. Jesus,

We're gonna have kebbs. He was from small became not

in the physical but in him. Why how do you

you and I see ourselves Sometimes when if Jesus came

into our lives, he makes you feel like a millionaire.

You might not have a million dollars, but you will

feel like a millionaire when Jesus comes into your life

and bless us you. Okay. Number three? He was a

definitely a rejected man. Anyone felt rejection before I have.

You know, people just reject you. They never choose you, right, Ah,

it happens. It haven't been the church. Yeah, all those

people got children, all right? Please don't forget it to

invite people like us who don't have children to your

children's party. Just because I don't have a child asn't

mean I don't understand children. I raise your kids. That's

why they're leaders. Now. Sometimes we reject because we think that,

oh they are like that in the church. I hope

we don't reject people. I know they are not different

types of people, different types. By the grace of God,

we will embrace differences. Wow, he was a rejected man.

He was an un wanted guests in anyone's house. I

want to invite you for Chinese New Yeah bye, no

unpower for you, probably right, So everybody is going for

Chinese New Year, have a Jewish Chinese New Year. And

then everybody's inviting and then there you see their chairs.

You know this rich man, no friend, No can I come? No,

you collected our text? No unpower for you, right, no

mooncake for you or whatever, Laura, I don't know. So he's

a rejected man, but that day he felt acceptance. How

many have you and myself have felt acceptance sometimes to

somebody that you may have never met before, but because

God used that person, they accept you. It's it's amazing.

It heals something in us that somebody wants me. I

tell you, if man doesn't want us, God wants you.

God wants you. He don't just love you. Yeah, I know,

God loves me. He likes you.

Now.

Am I not like you? But God likes you? Amen? No,

God don't just love us air, but God likes you. Know, brother,

I might love you in Jesus, But do I like you?

I'm not sure. Like So this Jesus likes you, likes

to hang out with you, wants you to come and

have dinner, he wants to eat in your house. Walk

Not only does he love you, he likes you. And

that's what Uncle Zekai is filed. Yeah, he was a

shrewd and greedy man, definitely, But what happened he was

now I put the repentant and acted on it. He

was rests. Did anybody tell him? Did Jesus even tell him?

It's not recorded right? Did Jesus walk up to him

and said the chaus, what you've done is very very bad.

Repent No, you don't hear anything like that. But because

Jesus came to his house, when the presence of God

is in our meats, I don't know what it is,

but it just causes us to bow, to be humble

in our house, to sense that there's somebody who receives us,

and he accepts us. And this guy may not have

we may not have hurt him. Say Jesus, forgive me.

His faith was acted up. So you say I have faith,

But Paul says, I'll show you my deeds. I'll show

you my actions. My faith will be acted out to

my actions. So I have faith. But this faith was

acted out. He did the good works. He was not

saved by good works. He didn't do nothing. Even if

there was good works or no good works, Jesus would

have still come into his life. But his faith was activated.

That there was a change. He changed. No one told him.

Jesus said, they're probably eating and saying, wow, wonderful kebs.

Can I have some cucumber? Can I have some oliving? So?

How is your day? What did you do today? How

are you? How's your father? How's your mother? How's Abah?

How's Mama? I don't know what he's talking like, I

don't know. I'm trying to figure out what this didn't

even say. So how much text did you did you charge? Selene? Know?

How much do you charge? You know? So and so

and no? No, you and I will do that to

each other. So have you said sorry? Right? We want

I do that? Right? I'm just saying how we react generally? Right.

But but this is the thing about why you and

I love Cheestus so much. He doesn't come and pinpointed

you too, but he loves you and that love transforms

us and it it just causes us to respond. So

that's why I wrote this guy acted, He repented, and

he acted on it. So I don't just say, yeah,

I hurt Edward. I'm so sorry God that I hurt Edward.

He didn't just say. He actually went up to Edward

and say, Edward, please forgive me. I took forty percent

of your texts. I'm gonna give it back to you.

And here's four times more. What's Edward going to say? WHOA,

God bless you my son, because he shot God bless you,

my son. And so he he said that I will

give back, I'll give my goods to the poor, and

I'm going to restore four four because he did my

false accusation. I means he will go up to Edward

and say you you didn't pay you, you pay less

than thirty percent? Come on hand it over, No, and

the like no, I don't care. Give ready. Okay, Now

he has to go and say a word. He has

four times more because my false accusation, I said you

didn't pay, I give you back four times. Here, I

give you my goods to the poor, give you I

give it. Who told him I don't think it was

a word that Jesus said. I think it was a

presence of God that his whole life Second Coritians, verse seventeen,

putting on the new and taking off the old and

putting on the new. I think that's what happened to him. WHOA,

he was not generous, he was selfish, he was evil,

But now he's been restored. How many of us have

experienced that. Has the impact of God's love caused us

to love Him daily with gratefulness? Is that my next one?

Is this the right one? That's not okay? How have

you and I experienced the change when Christ came into

our lives? How can people see the change in our lives? Church?

If I really love you, and I told the leaders yesterday,

I know your name all two hundred and twenty of

your I know where you live, how have you and

I experienced a change when Christ came into our lives?

My question our to us, to myself, Hey, if Christ

really is your master and you experience God's love, how

have you changed? How will I experience God through your life?

How have I experienced Christ in my life? If I

truly encountered Jesus, Because Church I'm telling you, I am

walking on sunshine, s O N sun light shine, and

by the way you and I live would show how

outwardly the action, the repentant the life. I'm seated here

with you. I'm not seated. I'm standing here with you, seated,

and I'm looking across this room. Am I seeing people

walking on sunshine? Am I looking at people who are

saying I have been transformed by the power of Jesus.

My heart to you is that have you truly allowed

Christ in? Because when you are in love with Jesus,

you won't be sleeping in this service. You will be

eyes open waiting to hear the word of God. You

will be ready to serve. You will be walking on

sunshine and serving express So hello, you want a piece

of cake? Now? You will be out early to church

because the bed is just too boring. Our need to

get to wear Jesus. He's with you, lie, I know.

But Sunday celebration, We're doing this together. I'm ready to

get to office tomorrow because I want to say good

morning to my boss and smile at him. Right and

he's going to ask you what's so good about the morning,

and you say, well, it's good because God is good.

He serious. Our sister Aida from mandrins of his will

get up and she came to Jesus. She knew the Lord.

She went to an office and every day she will

say taoan, and the people in office life answer. Nobody answer.

So every day you were tao on. I don't know

how to say this. I canno speak, Manda Maria, I

don't know how. She said, like, tao aunts and you Phonny, no, no, no, no, no,

everybody did. And for months she would say good morning,

God bless you. And for months they were quiet and

didn't know what to do. And finally somebody, then I

think her boss, went tao an, and then everybody started

tao aunt. After for months of saying tao answer to Phonny,

and then she left the company and then they went

no more doubt un lady, no more taut unlady. They

missed her, but they started saying, tao an, do one another? Friends?

Are you ready to walk out of here? After? SERVI

with a little bit more of hope Jesus to do

a little bit more of sunshining, because that's what happened,

is the acid. Wow, he just experienced the new life,

and you and I have new life every day. It's

not easy because we all have challenges. Don't you think

we all have? Jerry Co wrote, Somebody hit you there,

somebody thought of you there, somebody forgot to say thank you.

Somebody took your money and then pay you back. Right,

you did a good job and your boss never say

well done, good and faithful stuff. Say that and then

you're like, oh, this, Jerry Co wrote, is so hard.

I don't feel like you know, I want to be there,

but I want to encourage you. There is a great transformation.

There were If you have come to Christ, there was

a great exchange. If you haven't come to Jesus, brother, sister,

you need to experience a great exchange. Don't ever come

to a place where you say I don't need God.

Don't ever go to that place that is called pride,

and pride will kill you. At the end of the day,

God will not entertain pride, humility, need because pride actually

robs us of true joy, true joy. I'm too proud

to even ask for help. Have you seen people like

the anti carrying the things? Are the hen ready falling?

The ready falling? And then I help you, no need

I have come for you do not know? And that's

what No, and be put to help. We're so proud,

no suffering. No, we're too proud to ask for help. Ah,

been there been there, need to repent. It's okay to

ask for help. It's okay to say I can't do

it myself. It's okay to ask for help because I

want to tell you what happened. Remember, he tried to

get to look at Jesus. He tried, and what happened

the crowd, the crowd wouldn't allow him to break through. Friends,

how many of you told the crowd stops us from

trying to get a glance of our future. The crowd

tells you you can't. The crowd probably told him you

shot men. The crowd probably said you are not worthy

to even see Jesus. We are going to tell you

what he looks like. The crowd tells you you will

amount to nothing. The crowd will tell you just compromise, Lah,

why I want to be so different? The crowd will

stop us. The crowd will say, don't tell anybody, it's

too shameful. Don't ask for help, because what you are

going through. Please la nobody wants to know and stare

for so many of us, in different stages of our

lives don't know how to ask for help because we

are too ashamed. But there will always be somebody you

can ask for help. The crowd tells you it's too shameful.

The crowd will tell you please, la, please, just hidler.

Do you know in Japan all of us like Japanese

and we're like, oh so so so neat, so clean.

So everybody talks like that Mickey Mouse, right, I'm serious.

The girls will sound I say, what do you all

sound the same hussle? And we love them. But you know,

to penetrate, they have three levels or layers. So why

you will celebrate how great Japan is? Do you know

how hard to penetrate? Because their culture says if you fail,

you don't deserve to be there. There's a city that

they put them all in. You don't know that, right,

If you fail your from three, that's it. You go

into that down there and you stay there. Nobody talks

about it, nobody tells you the name of that town.

But that's where all the failures go to. That's why

the high rate of suicide is in Japan. That's why

Japan needs Jesus. And so people tell you didn't make it,

you didn't get a university degree. Oh my goodness, don't

tell anybody. The crowd puts us in a box. Jesus said, auspree.

Jesus said, auspree. Don't you ever listen to the crowd

of negatism progressiveness according to the world system. Be careful

because Zachaia's that day. If he didn't think outside of

the box, he would be left in the box by

the crowd, who rightfully would say you are an evil man.

You don't deserve to meet Jesus. All of us have

the opportunity to second chances, all of us and Jesus

is about second chances, third chances, both chances. Will you

take the second chance? Schayas took it. All of us

need a second chance. The crowd will stop us. He

wasn't just shot, friends, We're not shot. I'm not that shot,

but I could be spiritual stature shot in my spirit.

I'm sorry. Sometimes we as church have hurt you and

put you in a box. But look at this story

of Even the Christian crowd sometimes says things that this

sounds so righteousself righteous is the word. How we need

to show mercy. When I say show mercy, I don't

mean I have to feed every poor person on the Streetler,

I can't. I need to do it together with you.

There is always mercy by looking at the case of

this situation, and then we decide how we can help

restore I'm still learning. I'm still learning. Reminds me today,

as I prepared this and researched on this looking to

different materials, that sometimes we never saw this other side.

That today we live in a place where the crowd

tells you this is how you should be. So, ladies

and gentlemen, we live in a community where the crowd

will tell us things how the world sets the standards.

But Jesus doesn't set those boxes. He liberates us. He

liberated Zachaias and Zachayas out of his naturalness, stepped out,

and his actions spoke for it. Amen to all the

single ladies in the house, the crowd will tell you

you have to get parried or something like that, or

if you're not, you're something wrong with you. That's what

they told me. So my church, the auntie, uncle and

the church all started bringing boys. Mendler, how about this one.

Don't god, y I so pretty? You give me this

kind of fish, then this one LaJuan llah, and then

some some some. This is just me when I was

twenty three, twenty five, I still think like that. I think.

But anyway, they brought me this chap, you know, the

only son of his mother and this uncle in my church.

My leaders say, how about this guy? Like what? You

send the guy to my office? You know, I don't

work like some small time company. I'm in a big,

big company. Press leave go up very high. One No

came all the way to my office, and we got

a lot of glass doors. One cannot simply end what

reception is standing outside for saying hello, somebody want to

see you. Are you don't let him mean? But my

you know, hello, never met you before? Then, as you know,

so and so I say, come, you're working on my love.

can'sl ectional. I'm standing on the stage very high. I

can't see everybody down there. So one day I saw

him holldo more. He don't leave his hands and worship

Jesus always hands down Cross, apparently very rich Cross. I

don't eat rich men. I can earn my own money.

Don't look down on me, no, of course I poor.

People will put you in a box. My church, the

uncles and ants. You still single? You're twenty don't know

how he is older? Twenty five? Really not, don't have

boyfriend or friend. I got married the exceptional man. And

then the next pressure came, when you're gonna have your

children now? And then I'm like, coming right, this is

the next pressure, right, when you're going to have your children.

I don't know. I tried all right, this is the

next measure. When you're gonna have your children. Everybody puts

you in a box. How do you know I'm not trying?

Names called me no, lazy too, relatives. I say, you're

so lizzy. My mother like you, Beth, You're so unfair.

You don't give me grandchildren? Hello said that. I asked,

have children? God? Children? When's the next children? I have

And the pressure goes on and after day goes Hey,

when your grandchildren come in? Are you I can't control

my childs? Are not allowed what you're me? Do? Hi?

When your grandchildren come your grandma and no, no, the

crowd will tell you don't have a university degree. Oh

my good nurse. That's how Hammond made me feel one time.

You don't have a university degree from a university, particular university.

He said, when you marry our son, you will have

to go to this university so that you can get

a law degree. Am I being sold as a commodity

to marry your son? I think very hard. I don't

my father. I don't want to marry this person. My

And I have traveled the world without money. The crowd

will put you in a box and say you can't.

You have to come and experience God and go like, wow, Jesus,

if you're real. I want the reality, I want the power.

I want to have that close relationship. I can make

it in Christ. But you know what that food that

you need to step faith faith. Without faith, you cannot

please God. So guys, step up with faith. You want

to please Jesus, step up with faith. That's what happened

to Chayes. Did he like he's sitting on the tree right,

he's looking down. Who showed Jesus? Which changes Jesus? Is

z that come down? Okay? He had to think it

was a faith there because Jesus he looks nothing. He

looks like this common Middle Eastern man carried alla. I

don't know he took a chance. This is really Jesus,

but he knows my name. Then he says there and

eats and no, they're all eating, and then something encounters

him and he knew I have been changed by the

love of God. Does he have to remain in that box?

I'm evil, I'm a cheetah. Something happened that he put

off the old man and he put on the new man. Hey, guys,

the world, the way it runs, the world's experiences, secularism

compromise will squeeze our life out, the life in Christ.

The pressures of this world will really pressure us again.

Which culture do we live in? Where do we come from?

A lot of things. I haven't enough. The people ask me, okay,

they don't know my age now, maybe because now I

don't think I looked at young like white hair coming already.

So last time they were saying, oh, have you had children? Yeah,

You're like no. Know what they say to me, Elean,

Oh you're still young. I'm like, I'm mana pausing. Okay,

I've got time move. I do not desire to be

a Sarah by the way, and is okay? Freedom now

I freedom. People will ask you and say, know what

they told me and pit you? You do have children?

I p t you your kids are like demons. Huh, yeah,

because you can't control your children. They're giving you problems.

And you pity me because I've got freedom. I can

raise other young people and raise them. Don't tell me

you pity me. Please, don't pity me because people are

asking me. You regret now you don't have children. No,

I'm thankful. I tried, I lost my baby. I tried again,

didn't happen. Does it make me pity? Does it make

me a loser? Don't you dare call me that? Because

I'll speak over your life? Yeah, man, you the man. No,

I cannot live in that pressure. I can't and I

will choose not to because I choose Geesus. If you

chose Jesus. That's for my question, I have to run

or the earlier one. How have you and I experienced

the change when Christ came into our lives? How can

people see the change in your life? That's the whole thing?

Say that?

Are they know? How they're going to know? They won't

know because they can't see your heart. But they can

see your actions. They can see your kindness, or they

can see your love, or they can see your patience,

your mercy. They can see something changed from evil to

not so evil. I don't like people bullying other people.

I don't like people taking advantage of my brothers and sisters,

and I will tell them off. Sometimes it sounds rude,

like what are you telling me of the point is

you are bullying another person who's weaker than you. You're

not asking permission, and you're just taking I have that issue,

so I become very bold. Obviously I'm just a little

keet down there. But if you bully somebody, I will

stand up for you. Because nobody deserves to be bullied.

Because when I was bullied, nobody stood up for me.

So I will not stand and let somebody else get bullied.

Can people see the change? Think about reflect a little

bit church reflecting on has the impact of God's love

caused us to love him daily and with gratefulness and

a desire to obey and serve him? Has the impact

of God's love? If you haven't been impacted, then ask

to experience God's love. I think if you ask God,

teach me, show me, I believe you will experience something

about God because He actually does want you. He wants

to know you. You hopefully want to know him. But

if you have been impacted, and therefore do you love

Him daily with gratefulness? Are you a grateful person? Am

I a greatfol person? Sometimes? I'm not I repent sometimes

not grateful now to say thank you, you know, like, okay,

it's okay, it's okay, you know I don't have everything.

It's okay, I can still live. Do we desire to

obey the Lord? Do we desire to serve the Lord? Friends?

Are you serving the Lord? Are you someone who serves

the Lord? You start by the serving in the house

of God. You start by serving the little things before

you go into other things that My God was calling you,

is calling you to do. Do we obey God's word?

Do we forgive? Do we forgive as quickly as soon

as we realize it's eating us out? Do you know

the tree I told you about, the psychamore tree? How

deep the roots go? On the positive side is great

to have a tree that's really low, well grounded. But

on another side, if we were to look at how

deep the roots of unforgiveness go, it's like a tree

that can't even be moved. The roots of unforgiveness can

hurt us and destroy us. And that's why two chapters ahead,

Jesus says, if someone asks for your forgiveness, quickly forgive.

Even if they don't ask, you just forgive Why Because unforgiveness, bitterness, hurt, offenses.

It's not a vocabulary in heaven. And as much as

we have been hurt and offended, unjustly treated, don't hold.

Don't hold a hurt. It's not worth your health, your

spiritual health, and can affect your physical health. It can

affect you mentally. Kid, say Lord, I forgive this person.

You don't have to be BFF, you know as BFF

best friend forever. You don't have to be FF with

that person. You need some space. You give yourself space

and say I can't deal with it now, but I

just need some space to heal. Don't let those things.

Even for Uncle Zakias, he probably was rejected, rejected, rejected

on all sides, but when Jesus came, he opened his

heart and suddenly all those roots were pulled out and released. Amen.
