You're listening to a message to go from axt church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
You know, December is a month of whereby it's the
-
time where we so slow down. Isn't it true? We
-
saw getting ready for new year, slow down, getting ready
-
for what's a hate of us? Slow down and you know,
-
anticipating a better year. I hate It's almost like the
-
restart butt of every computer game is December, right for
-
our own life, our own spirit and summer reader, I
-
was preparing about this message and I get to this
-
place whereby, why do we wait.
-
Until December to restart? You know what I mean?
-
Why do we wait? Like I know, the whole world
-
looks worse for December? Right, slow down? Even you drive
-
to work these days, it's like the easier, lesser traffic
-
on the road. Hallelujah, prais love. We already wish for
-
you to be like every day of the month in
-
between January to November.
-
But December is a time whereby, you see.
-
Or the Christmas decoration comes up and comes the time
-
where by people are looking for gears, remembering that and
-
to put shape people. But yeah, at the same time
-
in the midst of everything. Why wait to December to restart?
-
Because as you enter the new year right as right now,
-
always are looking through what we have in our closet
-
and start to clear out sudden things right, give away,
-
cutain things. So rearrange our room hopefully and praying. And
-
the word is maybe wishing that next year will be
-
a better year. Next year will be a year whereby
-
your chief, your targets and your goals and your dream
-
about losing tank kg right, only to be better with
-
you know, a Chinese year just around the corner, a
-
year wherever you look forward to, maybe a new challenge, right,
-
a new victory over your life. I pray that we
-
don't have to reactive January next year to restart. Yeah,
-
because that's how we normally start first year, isn't it.
-
We celebrated, okay, we anticipated the right, and we're going
-
with such great zeal and strength, only to last us
-
about a couple of weeks. We get to the daily
-
grind and by the time we hit March, we are
-
crawling through March the amount of March.
-
Right. By then we dune. We need healing.
-
Really after that, by I say healing, I meant by
-
going for holiday, right, and we are looking for for
-
more holidays in between. And I asked myself, why wait
-
till next year? So the Lord has been you know,
-
the word has been good and uh even for the
-
church leadership as well. We never wait until like, you know,
-
like the start of a year, a chronological year. You know,
-
how may we know that we don't we don't operate
-
in the chronological year. First january' is a start whereby
-
my march would be better, my work will be better.
-
We don't need to wait until the chology can said
-
first January twenty twenty five, right, someone will be twenty
-
fifty by the time some of our welcomes of your
-
turny thirties.
-
Hallelujah, praised the Lord.
-
Right, some of your thirenty forties you go like, oh no,
-
but why would age? It is the friends. I want
-
to encourage you. What does the New York bring to you?
-
What does the new year.
-
Brings to you?
-
That that that that the feeling, that that mindset, that
-
the experience, not does it bring to you?
-
Right?
-
Of course there is excitement, isn't it. You're looking forward
-
for it, right, there is You think.
-
That the bucket list increases all.
-
Right, places you want to go for holiday, hallelujah increases
-
by one more? Right, just do not know where when
-
you have time? And where where's the money coming from?
-
Right? Bucket list increase?
-
Right, and maybe life experiences increase. But I pray that
-
you come to a place whereby that you know that
-
our future number one, Our future is in the lot, Amen,
-
our future. When I say our future is in the
-
Lord means to say, it is that we will have peace.
-
No, peace is such.
-
An important commodity these days, right, the peace of God.
-
No matter what traffic situation you go to on a
-
daily basis, the peace of God is so so important.
-
So could you tell me me to joinne up to
-
fourteen Johnte up to fourteen, verse twenty five to twenty six.
-
Chapter fourteen twenty five to twenty six. Right starts off
-
with these things I've spoken to you while being present
-
with Youew you know God already.
-
Jesus is such.
-
An amazing, amazing person God, whereby he understands human behavior.
-
How many I understand what try to say? He understands
-
what we go to. He understands our fears, our tears,
-
what frightens us? Some of us here could be frightened
-
with I don't know, you see a rat in your
-
house running around in your kitchen.
-
Instead of tackling the red, we run away, right. Uh.
-
Some of us here are frightened by flying crockachias, not
-
just any cockcachua on the floor and a flying crockachias.
-
We see one, we run away or we scream right
-
like there is no tomorrow.
-
Like that.
-
I have a friend of mine who does weight lifting, bodybuilding,
-
huge size and stuff like that. Every time he sees
-
the crocodch she comes, he jumps on the chair. He's afraid.
-
He's afraid of the flying cock coachias and the cocachias
-
that goes on the ground. I looked at him with
-
it your a much bigger size than the cock coach.
-
By one step on the cockach the crocach is date ready,
-
and I demonstrated you. I just step on the cock
-
coach with my bare feet here like you wash your
-
feet love there. But he just relaxed, no problems. I say,
-
your bigger size than that, And it frightens me because
-
the flying cock coatures gives me that the fear.
-
That letter on my shoulder and the top of the
-
germs and stuff like that.
-
So I don't know what triggers you, friends, but God
-
understands and he knows. That's why when he starts off
-
with this even worse twenty five Okay, these things I've
-
spoken to you while being present with you. First, he
-
under surfers of all he has to tackle our human behavior.
-
There's one thing about reading a letter already receiving a text.
-
Let's says, let's say, for example, a text say I
-
love you.
-
Okay, you get this goosebump feeling right, you get this
-
nice hmmm feeling right. But it's very different when the
-
other person stands in front of you with full emotion
-
expressing his love or her love towards you.
-
Those those are read, they think two or not.
-
Extra nobody the owner, Tyrell, you know you understand what
-
I'm trying to say, that that there is this feeling
-
like someone's to reassure you. And that's why I want
-
to let you know that although the Bible is it's
-
in the book from but back then when it was
-
presented to the disciples, Jesus was ministering to the person
-
face to face to reassure the person.
-
Hey, I'm going to go away for a short while.
-
I'm going to go away because I'm at this place
-
whereby I could obey my father in heaven, to be
-
taken away, to be absent from a from what he
-
normally does on the daily basis strikes fear because even
-
though could you imagine right now coming to extra us
-
for one whole year, you don't see pass the.
-
Lawyer, yes, which yeah, this de clarate past the bit
-
or not?
-
And she just texts you all, remember come to church, okay,
-
Remember I'll be with you all right and after a while,
-
isn't it true? Isn't it true that, yeah, but you're
-
not here with me? You understand you're not here? I
-
mean tears right now. I can only write I'm crying,
-
but I can't describe the mouth tishue I've used unless
-
you see in front of me right and God wants
-
it reminds you that He's present in the times whereby.
-
I got to be away, the time whereby I got.
-
To excuse myself from my normal time review all. Sometimes
-
in our life we may not come were not realize
-
how important is it really when we are with people
-
and being present. And that's why I God was a
-
minister to you friends, because many times in our life
-
we think that we are alone in our situation. That's
-
why I work twenty six comes. But the helper, hallelujah,
-
the helper, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our helper, amen,
-
a helper. The problem with this is that although he
-
is declared the helper, many times in.
-
Our life.
-
We reject help, meaning to say that although the Holy
-
Spirit wants to to to advise guy from you. It's
-
like raised althoor can prompt can guy can show flashes
-
of light, bring to remembrance the word, the scripture, the stirring.
-
We have a choice rather to receive the help, to obey,
-
to align to that direction, that purpose, that.
-
Intuition, or to reject it.
-
Just like I'm not sure how many of us here
-
are totally sold out. When Google Map tells you to
-
turn left, we turn left immediately, or we know slightly better,
-
a shortcut whiche.
-
Even Google don't even know we We don't.
-
Have one hundred percent trust on what's being told to
-
us from our small litter six screen, although it meanwhile
-
to white traffic. Because every day you listen to you,
-
but my life is every day you do not ways
-
to go to work right, and no matter what traffic
-
they tell you, you're always getting into your workplace in
-
the German.
-
Isn't it true? After a while your trust towards.
-
That that that that thing gets eroded.
-
You don't have one four hundred percent or killer. I know.
-
I just want to see whether or not there is accident,
-
because accidents can be avoided. But every other traffic. So
-
the helpers, the Holy Spirit is a helper. I prayed
-
this morning that you open your heart and recognize there
-
is help. Amen, you open our hearts to say that
-
there is help in my life. Therefore I am not alone.
-
Therefore I am not in a situation whereby there is
-
no more hope. There is only death in front of me.
-
It is live so blik. Everything is so in chaos.
-
It's at the moment the Holy space is here to.
-
Help us all right.
-
Whom the Father will said in my name, Here he'll
-
teach you.
-
Here he is.
-
He will teach you in all things and bring to you,
-
bring your remembers all things I sit to you. So
-
the help of friends is not just to tell you
-
what to do. Friends, It's going to help me to recall.
-
It is bring to remembrance all that was taught. That's
-
why Bible reading is so important. Friends. It is so
-
important because if you don't remember what's there to recall.
-
Think about it. You cannot recall something which you have
-
never read. You'll never enter your heart or your mind.
-
Even when you go for exam freend. You cannot recall
-
a knowledge if you have never read that chapter.
-
It's hard. So God, this one wants to remind us. Read.
-
I think God's word helps the Holy Spirit. Hey, you
-
remember you read this word about a couple of years ago,
-
and not mean the full sentences because it will be America.
-
The Holy Spirit reminds us of a full set of
-
fool way, but summary of it brings. The remembrance helps
-
you to understand in the situation, the very moment, what
-
you need.
-
He brings me. Do you remember all things I've said
-
to you? Catch this worse? Twenty seven? Peace?
-
I leave with you, friends, of all things God wants
-
to remind us.
-
When he left the Holy Spirit with us, there is peace.
-
Come on, He's not just a helper whereby it doesn't
-
add anything. This helper at peace into our life. It's
-
so important friends. When to parties argue I pray one
-
party we have the peace in their mind and their
-
heart to come down and say, hold on, why are
-
we shouting up for the past twenty minutes when you're
-
in the tense team meeting friends. Isn't it true that
-
the only way to get your point across is whoever
-
shout the loudest, or whoever bang the table the hardest. Right,
-
That's where it exerts the authority. The voice has this
-
ability to like, guys, it is me, I'm going to
-
take the course. I pray that in the midst of
-
every tough and challenging situation, the peace of God is
-
what we remember and what we have in those moments.
-
Because if you're if you're a piece, isn't it true
-
you can make decisions a bit better, right, a bit
-
better in our life? Isn't it when when you get
-
lexiphrames but God forbid that you Don't you ever experienced
-
before a traffic accident, surrounded by everyone who will say
-
want to throw.
-
Your car right? And you need and the very moment right.
-
You're just trying to wrest like, where on earth did
-
I see the oncoming traffic?
-
I didn't see it? Right?
-
It appears from nowhere. Something happened to your car and
-
to you, and you're there this at that very moment,
-
thinking like, oh no, I'm surrounded by people asking you
-
like I need you to do this, and you need
-
the peace of God, and say, hang on for a moment.
-
I need to able. I need to make a good
-
decision right this very moment. So Jesus said, peace, I
-
leave with you. My peace I give to you, not
-
as the world gives.
-
Hallelujah, the world offer a very.
-
Different kind of peace. He does comes in a brochure form.
-
You buy this property, you have peace and tranquility. Every
-
time you go back from work, you experience this peace
-
and tranquility. First, it does work. Maybe for the first
-
couple of months you go back there. I think you
-
bump your neighbor who doesn't take out the trash. That's
-
how you imagine you take out the trash to be right.
-
Then after that you you bump into different things with
-
friends of neighbors, friends who doesn't who just like to
-
put in front of your house, things that irks you. You understand,
-
I'm trying to say, its drives you up the wall.
-
Friends. The war gives you a cilic piece if you subscribe.
-
To this plan, you experience peace as long as you
-
subscribe to the plan.
-
But even that peace is temporal, not everlasting. Jesus the same.
-
Piece, I give to you my peace, my peace, he said,
-
my piece, I give.
-
Peace. I leave you my piece. I give to you,
-
not as the world gives. And he wanted that.
-
Therefore, after making a statement, he starts to minister, and
-
to start to minister to his people. He says, let
-
not your heart come on be troubled. Let not your
-
heart be troubled. Neither let it be afraid.
-
God understands the heart of his creation. You think about it.
-
For a woman, you're having a conversation with someone, and someone.
-
Just say peace. I live with you, my peace I
-
give to you first.
-
Thing that comes up to your mind. Isn't it true
-
that why you talk about piece? Is it in the
-
coming days whereby situation is going to rob me of
-
my peace?
-
Is it it true?
-
What all of sudden you bring up of all the
-
topics that Jesus, Jesus I brought that you know I
-
live in the Holy Spirit. He'll get you to prosperity.
-
Think about it. He used the word piece, and therefore
-
he understands when you touch peace. He knows people's minds
-
are fast forwarding a few years ahead.
-
Isn't it true that coming days whereby situations can rob
-
me or my peace? What is it going to come?
-
Is the war that's coming?
-
Inflation rate next is going to go up, medical insurance
-
is going to premient is going to go up by drastically,
-
you are, our minds is being transported ahead of us,
-
and we start to worry and start to doubt, and
-
start to the word is put ourselves to the situation.
-
And God wants to minister this morning. He understands the
-
heart of his creation, what triggers and what causes to
-
be troubled and to be worried. He knows every one
-
of us here got triggered by different thingations. So whatever
-
that coused me unrest, and you know, trouble in my
-
heart could be very different from Puss Gloria, so very.
-
It's it's not the same, same but not the same.
-
We run the same.
-
Try and say some of us, he don't like traffic
-
jam the moment you hear the traffic jam, No pieces
-
stressed over our face is written and stuff like that
-
for some of us part part of life. We just
-
go threugh like no problema, half an hour in the car,
-
can listen to radio, can listen to so many things,
-
can watch one YouTube channel.
-
Right, it's it's.
-
It's not a problem for some, but it's a problem
-
for some. So God understand. The question is that do
-
we know the trigger points in our lives that robs
-
us of that piece? Do we know that the cause
-
that that troubles are hot the whole night where we
-
can't sleep.
-
Doing church?
-
It's that way easy. The challenges of the people and
-
this stuff like that. There's a couple of months ago
-
we set up with a couple and you know, not
-
doing very well. Friends are doing very well. Argument here
-
and there. Husband in the midst of the anger raised
-
his hand and hit her on the shoulder, and this
-
stuff like that, and me and my wife were just ministering.
-
I'm just encouraging the couple. Hey, look, you know I
-
understand that that that that that every day we go
-
through stress and stress gets the better of us.
-
Pressure get the better of us.
-
But if we don't overcome this and we let trouble
-
pressure rule our hearts, it will dictate our actions, It
-
dictates how we leave, and how we hand the situation,
-
how we hand the family, and see if we don't know,
-
if we don't learn how to overcome the trouble, that
-
that robs us of our peace weapons, that this situation
-
or the trouble will hijack our emotions, our top process
-
and bring us to a place whereby we don't even
-
want to go to and we regret our action later.
-
The word is that we will come to the placeure.
-
But like, this is not even me.
-
You're a nice guy, nice girl, amazing person. Every amazing
-
person goes through the furnace of pressure. Come on, furnace
-
of pressure, right in life. It's called life. Go to
-
the furnace of pressure of life. Friends, what comes out
-
of it? How we respond to the pressure is really key.
-
So Jesus is reminding you today let not your heart
-
be troubled, because at times when we are in.
-
Trouble, friends, it erupts us.
-
So John sixteen, Worst of the Tree, John sixteen words
-
the tree says that these things I've spoken to you,
-
these things I've spoken to you that in me you
-
may have peace. Come on, in who, in Me, in God,
-
in Jesus, you will have peace. It's such again, friends,
-
God say in me, you just have prosperity, because God
-
knows no matter what we have on the external, while
-
it's good and nice, does one hundred percent and.
-
Give us peace? Because peace is.
-
An internal feeling, internal experience. You can't have the nicest
-
pillow you could ever find, right, friends, and said, okay,
-
I'm not talking about the most expensive.
-
Fill pillow that that you like, seince.
-
Maybe the day you born and got all the slaver
-
stain that that brings you comfort, that gives you peace.
-
That every stain on the pillow that you smell right
-
gives you that the warmness of the home.
-
I understand, But you go.
-
I know some people who bring that pillow wherever they go,
-
for every church camp, for every outdate, because it brings comfort.
-
The moment the pillows up with them. They can't sleep
-
at peace because this pillow is so hot.
-
But everyone else in the hotel rooms, who are the pillow?
-
He's so nice, so shot right, so in this day
-
that you may have peace.
-
So therefore, friends, piece is the internal experience. God knows. Friends,
-
Where does where does I would say, undress happens in
-
our hearts? Where does trouble firm in our mind before
-
anything else.
-
So Bible says it.
-
In me you have peace right, but in the world
-
you have tribulation, one transition, puday, you have trials. I'm
-
not sure how many of us here will ever claim
-
the scripture they say, God, thank you so much for
-
the trials and tribulation, Because you know, trials and tribulation,
-
we won't experience peace.
-
Think about it.
-
God understands because of the sinful nature of men. I'm
-
not talking about just you know, even people. I'm just
-
talking about the way human behavior.
-
Understands.
-
We are not perfect because you're not perfect. Decision made,
-
how nations are being governed, it's not perfect. And because
-
of everything else like that, He knows what robs us
-
of our peace.
-
Friends, don't let's not take it too far to the government.
-
For our own self.
-
Some of us here, our greatest challenge is putting our house.
-
In order, for example, tidying up our room. H do
-
say that.
-
Tidying up our room is a challenge. Some of us
-
high under this, guys of organized mess.
-
It's called because in.
-
The mess, you know where your stuff are being put,
-
even though other people may not understand. And we wake
-
up on the daily basis. Friends trouble and worry. Say
-
one day I'll get to do it, but the one
-
day hardly comes by, and we go by. Maybe I'm
-
motivated today and therefore I do it, and maybe I'm
-
not so motivated today. We go to daily challenges. I'm
-
not even talking about cleaning room. You just waking up
-
on time.
-
S say it.
-
Keeps saying so true, wake up on time, We up
-
on time. Friends, The challenge is now with the mattress
-
or the pillow, or the air con or the fan. Right,
-
remove all that comes with our attitude. God understands it
-
in me. You have people in this world. You have trials, attribulation,
-
he adds up. But be of good cheer. In the
-
midst of that challenge that trials, friends, God speaks in
-
a way that's opposite the world. Hey, you're going to trials,
-
You're going to challenges, but be of good cheer. See this,
-
be of good cheer. He says, I, Jesus have overcome
-
the world. Jesus, don't say be of good cheir. You
-
have overcome or you will be overcoming. He says I.
-
But if you're hearing this right, you go like you.
-
I know you are Jesus the DeFore you can overcome me?
-
And God wants to remind us this morning again really
-
reminds us because we believe in Jesus. If he has
-
overcome it, we will overcome as well. You need to
-
understand to come to a place by God. Whatever you
-
have overcome, I can overcome the same spirit as with Jesus.
-
That's not the Holy Spirit is not the Holy Spirit
-
given to us. It's not a second class spirit. Can
-
just see it loosely in geology. It's not a second
-
class spirit. Whereby this is you know, don't remember my
-
second class? You know, it has everything except it's like
-
between the economy class on the plane and the business class.
-
You go to the same destination, except is a bit smaller,
-
your food is a bit different service slightly almost the same.
-
They will still serve you with whoever they asked to serve.
-
Holy Spirit is not a second class economy class with
-
your friends. It's the same class as Jesus. So it
-
says that be of good chef overcome the world. So
-
the question here is is that the Bible says that
-
in the world that you have trials and tribulation overcome
-
the world.
-
Do we know what robs our peace?
-
Come on, do we know what robs us from a
-
good night rest? Do we know what troubles our heart?
-
Because if you know what robs you, you can pray
-
about it. Think about if you know what troubles your heart,
-
you can raise it.
-
Up in philippis of the form.
-
I'm gonna get to that later because many times we
-
go with a generous statement, you know, I can't, I can't.
-
I got no peace. But what is the cause? What
-
is the cause that causing you to have no peace?
-
Because many times we make a very generous human for example,
-
because I deal with a lot of church stuff. So
-
let me take church examples. They will come a step
-
whever we've got people coming up to or saying the statement,
-
you know, elder.
-
They are angry with you. Who is they? Is it
-
a person called Day? Who is it? So when the
-
more we boy down and ask.
-
And I try to understand the situation, the more we
-
found out it's actually one person.
-
But many times we put they are angry with you,
-
and we live true.
-
Life making poor decision action steps because we listen today,
-
they say you're the Messiah, they say you're Elijah, they
-
say you're Moses.
-
But who do you say that I am?
-
And I's going to uperate what they say. I pray
-
that you have an inside who they are. Right, So
-
here we go. The piece of God is a gift
-
of God. Come on, is it true? Can we can
-
we agree on this? The piece of God is a
-
gift of God.
-
Right. But with every gift you have.
-
A choice whether you want to take it and receive
-
it and open it and experience it and use it,
-
or reject it. Appoint the chef hoping to give you
-
to someone else in the future.
-
If you've graduated, you came up to the working world.
-
You have Christmas lunch and horrible and it is sometimes
-
there is staff.
-
Give exchange, staff give exchange? How working here?
-
Look for for staff give exchange the most funniest.
-
And put it nicely. Uh uh. I was used the
-
word useless lab but everything got use it the most
-
toddless meaningless. Right.
-
The give minimum supposed to tready ring gite like you
-
can get a lots of with trading. Right. We said,
-
y is the greatest place to shot for stuff with exchange.
-
So there was a brother that gave just to meet
-
treading ring gear.
-
One a four rim of paper, A four not seventy
-
grad but eighty grams, eighty grabs and you know shot
-
by five ring to make Trady ring it. So decide
-
the top up that a four paper by buy one
-
packet of.
-
Rubber bands.
-
Not small, it's a huge, big packet of rubber bands,
-
the yellow color one, the small one you top out.
-
I remember the staff opens up, the give looks again
-
were the laugh of the cry. If this gift was
-
given in the eighties and you receive it with great
-
job because you know, finally you got you got a
-
four paper means you got printed in the house, we
-
should we say, you're wow. But these days you get
-
a four, people go like, when was the last time
-
you buy a four paper? Besides comming college? Hardly right
-
hotly anyway, But what about rubber bands? Rubber beds, a
-
yellow color one. If you're born in the seventies, and
-
you're and you went to school in the eighties, you
-
mix skipping rope. When I shed this message in Manchester
-
Plant they looked at me, Oh, the how do you
-
mix skipping rope out from rubber bands? These are like
-
the fifth these are this other the much younger fifteen,
-
sixteen and seventies. I said, you mean your school don't
-
have skipping. I remember like we have skipping rope rubber beards.
-
Back then it was so cool. The only the enjoyment
-
and during recess time.
-
But the moment we get the give and somethings.
-
You look at this person, you got I know what
-
can't gift is gonna give to me? I know what
-
kind of gift is gonna give to me? So last
-
year I decided to to to to gest all my
-
stuff give exchange. I used to buy horrible stuff. One point,
-
I'd say enough radio. I think I think a shish
-
that the way all right? I think last year I
-
gave uh one cartogel of shin ra men and together
-
with you know, and so my aim was to make
-
like eightyving Gilf of magging me on instnuders. Just the
-
opening that was a fun just eat. I think what
-
I gave uh. I want to buy gas storm when
-
you know guest them give guests strom as a stuff
-
give exchange because all my my colleagues about the cook
-
and stuff that because you know how much a guest
-
strong is, isn't it?
-
It's not cheap? Right?
-
But the opening give guests strom, I got to carry
-
it to my car, get it back to my house.
-
So I give what of rice? Jeopardese Jeopardese Rice. It's it's, it's, it's, it's.
-
It's just one of those like wreckad crazy gift.
-
But the question here is this that do you know
-
what give the God give to you? Come on, even
-
though the piece of God, the piece of God is
-
a gift of God, do we know the gift not?
-
Or have you missed the first of all?
-
If we get a giver, they have now opened it
-
a couple of this episode.
-
You say, this giver, I'm.
-
Gonna keep it for next ye give actually chase a
-
rapper maybe and give it away?
-
Right? Number one?
-
Number two is that this give is okayla okayla gift Okay,
-
you know we.
-
See okaya gift before? Right? Just all right? And what happens?
-
You open it up?
-
Ok Maybe one day I'll use it. But you put
-
it in some cupboards, some shelves somewhere. You don't even
-
know where it is it right now because it's in
-
one cupboard maybe up there. The word is that you
-
hardly use that text Section one right it happens. Number
-
three is a gift that you always wanted. Come on
-
and you take it out immediately. I remember one time
-
someone told me the rapper is so give.
-
Rapper is a gifer. I got to pray for extra
-
as if rappers to give.
-
This this then put another rapper upon the rapper. I
-
used to wrap stuff your hord. My wife said, can
-
you rep properly?
-
I used to use.
-
Newspaper to wrap, you know, and stuff like that. Plassy,
-
but I buy that. Let's I buy the thing for nic,
-
cut out the plus use it as a rapper, right Recyclement.
-
I took recycling to the next level. Okay, but anyway,
-
So the give you always wanted to, here's it. Piece
-
I live in you. The piece of God, the piece
-
that that God gives friends cannot be earned.
-
Think about that. It's not like you earn like faithful stuff.
-
Never take.
-
Leave for so many years though long service award. Therefore
-
the piece of God comes to you. So the piece
-
of God is not a gift from God long service
-
award GIF After five years you earn the piece of
-
God one of those men that you earned from the
-
computer game.
-
It is not.
-
You can only get it by grace, by believing. Friends
-
God's give is the readier the questions that do we
-
believe that we have this peace?
-
His gift is perfect?
-
Come on, peace, I leave you my piece I give
-
to you, so therefore his peace is perfect. Number one,
-
The piece of God is a gift. So this gift
-
cannot be earned. It's not that you become best friend
-
with Jesus. I give you a special gift. You're fou
-
A give you a lesser gift. The piece of God,
-
it's forever who believes, and He's given it's perfect. In
-
other words, you don't need any addition or upgrade or
-
version two point zero. Many times in our life we
-
think that, okay, I got God's peace, But why am
-
I still feeling this way? Why am I still feeling like,
-
oh my mind is troubled, my heart is heavy? Why
-
am I still going through the motion whereby life, I'm
-
soorry for next year? And this is the type of
-
whereby we have to re examine our own hearts and mind.
-
Because if He's given, it's perfect, therefore it's us. Therefore
-
we need to re look at our own hearts, what's
-
occupying our hearts, what's.
-
Really the cause?
-
The trigger point because many times we don't identify. We
-
don't identify with it. You know, it writes you really
-
and they have to day what Jesus have done.
-
You know.
-
The Bible says his give is perfect right. So ultimately
-
his greatest gift is dying on the cross for you
-
and for me. He's perfect. He's a perfect sacrifice for us.
-
The salvation, the promise to be a reconciled back to God.
-
There is his his greatest gift ever give to mankind.
-
The Bible says Isaiah chapter nine, verse six. For Antois,
-
the child is born, and to us a son is given,
-
and the government shall be upon his shoulder. His name
-
shall be called wonderful counselor Mighty God, ever lasting Father.
-
And Prince of peace.
-
So the title hole is are very profound significant friends.
-
It's it is not just another title given. Not that title, friends,
-
is a prince of peace. And it reminds us that
-
Jesus is a source of our inner peace.
-
And I pray that today that you open the house. God.
-
I need this.
-
I need this when I leave this place afterwards and
-
get to my car, get back home, might go to work.
-
I need this inner peace.
-
I need this when I face my greatest challenge at
-
the workplace, when I have to deal with my children,
-
I need these friends.
-
So Jesus is the.
-
Source of ether, peace, providing peace with God and forgiveness
-
of sin. Come on, forgiveness of sin, such an important
-
thing that we tend to forget as believers. Some training
-
nine verse eleven. The Lord will give strength to his people. Imen,
-
the Lord will bless this people with peace. Therefore, if
-
you have the peace of God is a blessing. If
-
you have the peace of God in your heart, it
-
is a blessing. Friends, I pray that this morning that
-
you will open up your heart and just say God,
-
I need this.
-
It can only be a chief by believing in God.
-
John chapter in verse one, am I speaking to us?
-
Joint up the fourteen verse one A right.
-
It says, let not your heart be troubled.
-
You believe in God, believe also in me. Here again,
-
let not your heart be troubled. I think many times
-
in our life, in our situation, we our hearts.
-
Like an like a field that we allow weeds to
-
grow on. Our hearts is like.
-
A place whereby anybody can have free reign. So when
-
Jesus say that let not your heart be troubled. I
-
think many times we actually can forget that we have
-
a heart that we need to God. I'm not asking
-
us to be immune to problems. I'm not asking us
-
to deny anything to God understands That's why I say it.
-
He understands trouble, does rob ers On. He understands that
-
if you go, if you put your hand in hot water,
-
you experience the pain of putting your hand in super
-
hot water. Right. The question here is this is not
-
about avoiding the hot water. If we can whide, we
-
will a wide because why do we leave our hand
-
in hot water for the very long time and cook
-
our skin? My wife knows I love super hot water
-
the way you can come out often ring color, and
-
I love I love hot water sometimes I do.
-
I do. I love super cold water as well. I
-
see cold water. I do that. The difference Actually say,
-
why do you touch to yourself this way?
-
I say, no, I like it. But even though I
-
like it, I'm bringing this scenario to earth. But sometimes
-
you allow yourself to be in the situation for a
-
longer time than we should.
-
Come on for a longer time than.
-
We should Stuff that we're supposed to deal with we
-
don't deal with stuff they're supposed to.
-
Let's say, for example, we need to let go, we
-
don't let go.
-
And when we move for one place or another place,
-
it follows us. And that's why sometimes why there is
-
no big truth. Because the Bible says, let not your
-
heart be trouble. But even though we know this scripture,
-
but we have been letting our heart be troubled. We
-
are allowing things in our life to trouble us. If
-
we know past Cane in his journey of his life
-
and stuff like growing up there with that was parents,
-
no sister taking, taking their own life and training where
-
so drinking a we killer that was you know that
-
was on drugs for for a very long time. Yet
-
all this external pressure, also thought us before, won't get
-
to you if you don't allow it to get to you.
-
You can come up from abusive family background, but that
-
doesn't define who you are. Let now your heart be trouble, said, Yes,
-
he recognized that you are in the situation. But even
-
though that you are in the storm, the storm can't
-
tact you if you don't allow it to. Yes, you
-
may be wet because of the storm.
-
You may you be preasured, but.
-
As long as you don't allow it to get to you.
-
And Jesus say that you believe in God that he
-
also had this like, also believe in me? Think about
-
that you believe in God, also believe in me. This
-
is how I'm gonna sort of bring this message to
-
until end. Always believe in God. We do, we do,
-
we do believe right. The question here is is that
-
we also need to believe in Christ, what he has
-
done for us, what he asked us to do. Jesus
-
said that I'm the way, the truth, and the life right.
-
But many times we just want the life. And that's why.
-
Isn't it true that every human being is very attractive
-
to a cudden.
-
Life style life style.
-
For you to get to that life style, you know
-
the way, and I pray that the way is true
-
for us.
-
Come on, I pray that the way is true for
-
you in your life as well.
-
That we don't just believe on a Sunday, but after
-
here we go back without having a change in our hearts.
-
I pray that we believe in just say God, I
-
want more, all right? So this is how I'm going
-
to end with this h Female scriptures right, sorry, Philippis
-
Chapter four ward six. Okay, Philippis chapter four Wards six,
-
Philippians Chapter four worse six. You know this scripture, It
-
says be anxious for nothing, all right? He says, be
-
anxious for nothing, but in everything, by by prayer and supplication.
-
Come on, be anxious for nothing but by but in everything,
-
by by prayer and supplication. First of all, friends, worry
-
is a preoccupation of things that causes stress, anxiety, and pressure.
-
God understands numb one. He answers where the anxiousness come from?
-
When he understands, that's what he knows. You know, if
-
God did understand human being, our friends, he will not
-
add this likeness is but everything, think about it in everything.
-
So in other words, stress, what stressed me out could
-
be very different from what stressed shillings out for her.
-
Maybe she's thinking about where to eat for lunch afterwards.
-
So true, right, I know when you see Shelley, she
-
is always thinking about the best place to eat. Right,
-
what stressed mel could be very different. Like I pray
-
that will not put on weight, thank you? Right, So
-
the Bible says saying everything, come on bye.
-
By prayer and.
-
Supplication, everything can be tackled by prayer. Friends, everything can
-
be tackled by prayer.
-
Come on, That's.
-
Why I started up with the scripture said, if you
-
believe in God, also believe in Me. When Jesus also
-
believe in me, you have to trust and believe that
-
in Everything can be.
-
Takened by prayer and supplication.
-
And one transition put it as definite requests. Many times
-
we pray for things in our life. We do, we
-
do pay for things. We do pray for situations and things.
-
But many times even in our prayer life, we are not.
-
We are not detailed enough.
-
We are not so one transition put its definite requests.
-
Not wake lay request. We may not to God.
-
Right verse seven, the piece of God, friends, and the
-
peace of God. After you prayed, after you surrendered, after
-
you ask God your petition God, after you you were
-
detailing your requests and the peace of God. Come on,
-
we surpass us all understanding. This is how I'm going
-
to end the peace of God. Friends, in our life.
-
We'll provide your answers away out that may not seem
-
the natural way, may not be your normal natural way
-
of how we do things. If someone wrong you before
-
in your life, maybe God would have asked you a
-
problem in your heart. Be the bigger person. Kind, have
-
the person and say sorry first. But God, you don't
-
understand I'm the victim. Here be the bigger man. My
-
grace is sufficient for you. Be generous like the wido.
-
It is not about the two couple coins that all
-
that she has. But you know in all that we
-
have within our life without time, be generous with that
-
the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
-
Friends.
-
It always it is not your normal way of how
-
we live our life, how we respond to the situation.
-
And God was minders this morning that my ways are
-
not your waists, My thoughts are not your thoughts. He
-
says that this and this piece will also God your
-
heart here is of all, this piece will also got
-
your heart.
-
Post the forwards to the traces.
-
God your heart with all diligions, and sometimes we just
-
got a heart with the external. God this morning wants
-
to remind us again you can get it on the external,
-
yet the internally. Sometimes you do not want to eat
-
with me. We are fasting. On the day you happen
-
to walk past a very nice fried chicken stare and.
-
You know what they always get you. It's not just
-
the looks, but the smell. The smell.
-
You can you can run away from the that the
-
fra chicken store, but the smell still lingers in your
-
mind because it the word. It catches that the part
-
where by it bakes you to a memory. Hopefully, this
-
is not make you're hungry. It ties you to that
-
even though you're no longer near the physical shop, but
-
your mind is drifting towards that thing.
-
That's why Jesus.
-
Say that the peace of God will God your heart,
-
because most time it's internal. You can run away from
-
external situation, but internally you're carrying it with you wherever
-
we go.
-
It says that this piece of God your heart and
-
your mind. Come on, don't let your heart be troubled.
-
He's reminding us again this morning that my peace will
-
got your heart and mind to Christ Jesus, as I
-
close friends. Verse nine Philip, the four worst nine is
-
my closing. The things we should have learned, received and heard.
-
Come on, the things you have learned, receive and heard.
-
What you have learned today, what you receive today, what
-
you heard today and saw in me. This do and
-
the piece of God's peace will be with you many
-
times we want the piece of God, but we think
-
it's so hard to achieve as a close even as
-
as us ever to come up. I got to go
-
soon otherwise Actually life will not like me. But I
-
want to end rather this part of my sharing with
-
with with really encouraging you all that in life. In life,
-
there's so many challenges. One day you wake up with
-
a body ache as.
-
You issue just hits you like You're like, like, wow,
-
of those thing where we're much younger.
-
All we think about is like when I'm gonna get
-
more money to get cer things? All right, this different thing,
-
different stages of life. You wake up internally or right
-
internally alsod, you've got this ache and that ache and
-
pain and that pain and the lot was remind us again,
-
friends that our life is really in his hands. He
-
wants reminding our life is really in his hands. I
-
think many times a lot of these ropters from our peace,
-
our inner peace, you know, future, and this stuff like that.
-
I was hearing one preacher, not the most charismatic.
-
He's just sharing. You know. I used to passor a church.
-
Now I couldn't pass it anymore because in the midst
-
of pastoring the church, he lost his hearing. He couldn't
-
hear properly anymore. So the only way to communicate to
-
him is to shout very loud that he has started
-
off his preaching by his teaching the day by just sharing.
-
Guys.
-
I'm so sorry if I sound like I'm shouting, because
-
I really cannot hear, so I'm constantly shouting. He was
-
sharing about his being him being a grandfather. The title
-
of his message was how do you disciple your grandchildren?
-
I don't know why I click.
-
On it because I don't really cheer on my own,
-
but maybe because at the think fifty but how do
-
you disciple your grandchildren? And talking about about parents and
-
stuff like that and what to do as a grandfather.
-
I was just thinking about church in January and stuff
-
like that.
-
I get to see people of different ages in my
-
DIFFERENTIP in the DIFFERENTIP plan. Sometimes I ask the Lord, Lord,
-
if you're no longer around.
-
With It's not just asks, but people still follow the Lord.
-
Not just about following a church of friends, but people
-
still follow the Lord. Crowd to you depend on you,
-
not not to beconstant sway to the left or to
-
the right, but really to be anchored into you. To
-
now do, to call upon you, to depend on you.
-
The church has taught me so many things. Fundraising, you know,
-
doing the church back then when we were very small,
-
we didn't come out from a from a big brand.
-
We just God say started the church and we just
-
obeyed went through. None of us went to a Bible school.
-
We just say, God, you are our teacher, You just
-
teachers for every mistake, we just asked for forgiveness, I'm
-
sorry and just say.
-
That give us a grace to walk through it.
-
If we never once imagine where we'll start extra us
-
or we just thought was God, if we can use anyone,
-
you can use us, and stuff like that.
-
Was just a very.
-
Simple prayer and just believing, how would your life look
-
like differently if you put your trust and just surrender.
-
Peace. I give to you my peace. I live with you.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
