God's Peace, Not The World's Peace | Elder Wong Kien Yiak

You know, December is a month of whereby it's the

time where we so slow down. Isn't it true? We

saw getting ready for new year, slow down, getting ready

for what's a hate of us? Slow down and you know,

anticipating a better year. I hate It's almost like the

our own life, our own spirit and summer reader, I

was preparing about this message and I get to this

place whereby, why do we wait.

Until December to restart? You know what I mean?

Why do we wait? Like I know, the whole world

looks worse for December? Right, slow down? Even you drive

to work these days, it's like the easier, lesser traffic

on the road. Hallelujah, prais love. We already wish for

you to be like every day of the month in

between January to November.

But December is a time whereby, you see.

Or the Christmas decoration comes up and comes the time

where by people are looking for gears, remembering that and

to put shape people. But yeah, at the same time

in the midst of everything. Why wait to December to restart?

Because as you enter the new year right as right now,

always are looking through what we have in our closet

and start to clear out sudden things right, give away,

cutain things. So rearrange our room hopefully and praying. And

the word is maybe wishing that next year will be

a better year. Next year will be a year whereby

your chief, your targets and your goals and your dream

you know, a Chinese year just around the corner, a

year wherever you look forward to, maybe a new challenge, right,

a new victory over your life. I pray that we

don't have to reactive January next year to restart. Yeah,

because that's how we normally start first year, isn't it.

with such great zeal and strength, only to last us

about a couple of weeks. We get to the daily

grind and by the time we hit March, we are

crawling through March the amount of March.

Right. By then we dune. We need healing.

more holidays in between. And I asked myself, why wait

till next year? So the Lord has been you know,

the word has been good and uh even for the

church leadership as well. We never wait until like, you know,

like the start of a year, a chronological year. You know,

how may we know that we don't we don't operate

in the chronological year. First january' is a start whereby

my march would be better, my work will be better.

We don't need to wait until the chology can said

first January twenty twenty five, right, someone will be twenty

fifty by the time some of our welcomes of your

turny thirties.

Right, some of your thirenty forties you go like, oh no,

but why would age? It is the friends. I want

daily basis, the peace of God is so so important.

You buy this property, you have peace and tranquility. Every

time you go back from work, you experience this peace

Then after that you you bump into different things with

friends of neighbors, friends who doesn't who just like to

subscribe to the plan.

But even that peace is temporal, not everlasting. Jesus the same.

Peace. I leave you my piece. I give to you,

not as the world gives. And he wanted that.

Doing church?

It's that way easy. The challenges of the people and

this stuff like that. There's a couple of months ago

we set up with a couple and you know, not

doing very well. Friends are doing very well. Argument here

and there. Husband in the midst of the anger raised

the furnace of pressure of life. Friends, what comes out

of it? How we respond to the pressure is really key.

So Jesus is reminding you today let not your heart

be troubled, because at times when we are in.

Trouble, friends, it erupts us.

our hearts? Where does trouble firm in our mind before

In me you have peace right, but in the world

not sure how many of us here will ever claim

we won't experience peace.

Think about it.

God understands because of the sinful nature of men. I'm

of our peace.

Friends, don't let's not take it too far to the government.

For our own self.

Some of us here, our greatest challenge is putting our house.

think that, okay, I got God's peace, But why am

whereby we have to re examine our own hearts and mind.

Because if He's given, it's perfect, therefore it's us. Therefore

we need to re look at our own hearts, what's

occupying our hearts, what's.

Really the cause?

The trigger point because many times we don't identify. We

don't identify with it. You know, it writes you really

and they have to day what Jesus have done.

The Bible says his give is perfect right. So ultimately

his greatest gift is dying on the cross for you

and for me. He's perfect. He's a perfect sacrifice for us.

The salvation, the promise to be a reconciled back to God.

The Bible says Isaiah chapter nine, verse six. For Antois,

Jesus is a source of our inner peace.

And I pray that today that you open the house. God.

I need this.

I need this when I leave this place afterwards and

get to my car, get back home, might go to work.

I need this inner peace.

I need this when I face my greatest challenge at

the workplace, when I have to deal with my children,

I need these friends.

So Jesus is the.

think many times we actually can forget that we have

a heart that we need to God. I'm not asking

us to be immune to problems. I'm not asking us

to deny anything to God understands That's why I say it.

you experience the pain of putting your hand in super

hot water. Right. The question here is this is not

about avoiding the hot water. If we can whide, we
