  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So if you know, registraction resurrection Sunday, the last thing

  4. that Jesus said, all right, it is finished, it is done.

  5. His assignment here on earth is completed. Right, And how

  6. may you know that really starts our beginning of our

  7. life to experience the mouth of God. How many you

  8. understand and know that though when God say it is finished,

  9. it's the start of verse living our life experiencing Him.

  10. On the daily basis.

  11. So I would just say this, all right, resisrections resurrection

  12. Sunday is like the grand opening of a new life,

  13. like grand opening of a new shopping mall right, okay,

  14. not the right good illustration, but you understand, okay, the

  15. very first day of a grand opening, with the grand opening,

  16. you had your balloons, you have you know, canivor and.

  17. Stuff like that.

  18. But the very next day is really the real opening

  19. where people will come to your place or not, without

  20. the promotion, without the fan fare, without the sound and

  21. the lights. How do you know and understand been there before?

  22. Whereby it is nice to fall to experience the great

  23. opening of anything?

  24. Right?

  25. But the real as it tests even in business, is

  26. the next day, and this is the next week after

  27. resurrection Sunday. This is really what it means that it

  28. is finished when Jesus said it is finished, whether or

  29. not we believe that all that he had done and the.

  30. Cross is sufficient for you and me.

  31. The challenge for modern day Christianity is that we are

  32. so dependent and so comfortable.

  33. Right, people fetching us to church.

  34. Right, you have a transportation to church, right, Ah, major

  35. the oversy are not persecuted.

  36. I think they're not persecutor.

  37. Right, you're either a second generation Christian or you could

  38. be a first generation Christian. Right, so no persecution. And

  39. also coming to church was it's not a challenge. I

  40. spoke to a brother one day, and you'll just share

  41. it with me that you know I don't understand.

  42. He says.

  43. I'm a first gant Christian in my home. And I

  44. look at some people around church, your second generation Christian,

  45. and they think coming to church, and this is what

  46. they take coming to church almost like a religious duty.

  47. For me, I have to fight my way to come

  48. to church against my parents reached just say don't go

  49. to church. You cannot be found in church. Don't have

  50. anything to do with church. The church is a bad place.

  51. But I want And this boy said, I just want

  52. to come to church. I just really want to worship

  53. God and experience his his love, his presence.

  54. And he's just saying this it.

  55. I'm first generation Cristian, and I know how valuable it

  56. is to come to church.

  57. And they say that.

  58. I look at my friends around church, and some of

  59. them were like just walking in at let's say, if

  60. the service at night, they be walking at ten o'clock

  61. in the morning and just taking church like like a

  62. religious already a social activity they do on a Sunday here.

  63. And he said, my heart goes out for people like that.

  64. And sometimes I get very jealous, he says, because here

  65. I am trying to tell my parents allow me to

  66. come to church early and stuff that, and there I

  67. have my parents, please go to church, and the children's

  68. will say that, yeah, I'll just take my own time.

  69. Yeah you know, I let me enjoy my breakfast first. Yeah,

  70. you know, my Zeo's coffee or that hasn't come yet,

  71. So wait, Jesus can wait for a while, because you know,

  72. what's life without coffee? Right, So so when Jesus say

  73. it is finish, friends, So it's our starting point. Amen.

  74. Everyone says studying point. Amen. I love them voices all.

  75. Right, So it is it is our studying point of living. Amen.

  76. It is our studying point of living. So if you

  77. have your Bible with you right now, would you turn

  78. with me to X chapter three X chapter three. The

  79. title of my message this morning is what do you have?

  80. What do you have? Friends?

  81. I'm not here again after your money. I'm not here

  82. after your talents or your treasure. Okay, I want to

  83. go something deeper, because what do you have? The phrase

  84. comes from X chapter three. So except the three worse one.

  85. Now bitter and John went up together to the temper

  86. at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. Worse one

  87. says that bitter and John when to the temple at

  88. three pm in the afternoon.

  89. What are the amazing site? Friends?

  90. Going to church at three pm? Because if if if

  91. our natural habit tells us correctly, cheapm is the best

  92. time to sleep, as most of us here will do

  93. after church service, after lunch, no matter what it is, okay,

  94. whatever you eat, had too something. There is this spirit

  95. of sleepiness who come into our body on you'll gravitate

  96. towards your sofar, your bait, or even your car. Right

  97. your eyes will become very heavy. The last thing you

  98. want to do is to pray and seek the Lord.

  99. Amen.

  100. You just and you want to be. You want to

  101. be like the ship to rest in his presence. But

  102. here the Bible says, Peter enjoyment to the temp at

  103. chreepm right now. Worse two, a certain man lame from

  104. his mother's womb, was carried whom.

  105. They laid daily at the gate of the temper.

  106. This is the next character that comes into this play

  107. right now, a person that was lame since birth. Now

  108. I want you to imagine, since young, this person was

  109. being carried to the temper on the daily basis. Friends,

  110. it's not fun when you're immobile, or when you when

  111. when you when you're so used to a particular action

  112. and you don't have the action anymore. Right so, some

  113. with me or may not no past of founding in

  114. the PASTA is recovering right now.

  115. In his home he.

  116. Had a h h heue injury. I would say his

  117. tender was very tight, his tended lit teno was very tight,

  118. and he was playing pickaball with our church partners in Singapore,

  119. and I think you know, when you're young, friends, you

  120. don't really warm up. Your warm up is you know,

  121. by taking off putting on your shoes is warm up

  122. for you already. But for slightly older people, we need

  123. to warm up a bit longer.

  124. Longer. It means minimum half an hour. Right.

  125. So they did a couple of strokes and there's one

  126. more for them, really, right, And they suddenly play very

  127. competitively competitively, and one guy decided decided, I'm playing again

  128. my family senior past I wanted to see whether better

  129. than him or not, decided to do a drop shot.

  130. Drop shot mean, see that hit the ball closer to

  131. the net and passed it. Try to pass up. I

  132. just want to let you know his batgirl was that he.

  133. Is a he he he is a very good tennis player,

  134. much younger that the time.

  135. He used to run in track and field, and he

  136. traded almost on a daily basis tennis for two three

  137. hours under the hot sun. So sports is not an

  138. alien thing to pass. Okay, sports the alien thing to me,

  139. my right uh anyway, so passes try to reach reash

  140. for the shot. The shot of what happened was as

  141. he tried to reach it, he hit a loud snap,

  142. like the chair fell down on the floor like that,

  143. that's loud snap.

  144. And that he knew there was any chair that he

  145. has to be slaked.

  146. And what happened was that the hill board sort of

  147. crack into two, crack into two basically once one went

  148. up the right and immediately he has to be wheeled

  149. into the hospital and the surgery needs to be done

  150. almost immediately. Uh, they had to put three schools into

  151. the bonde right just for it to heal properly, permanent

  152. scowls and passer. Still in the midst of everything, right

  153. all that, you know said, it's painful, in the midst

  154. of all this happening past, you say, well, my senior

  155. got three nels, I got three screws. About there about that.

  156. My savior, Lord Jesus Chris had three news at the cross.

  157. I got three neils at my heel. So technically I'm

  158. becoming more like Christ. Look at while you can find

  159. humans in this in this toughest situation, but from from

  160. a moment where you could walk one day the very

  161. next day, right now you're down with one leake for

  162. a while, for a season, and the recovery with about

  163. about two to three months like that. So I told

  164. the past I don't think you could fly back, though,

  165. we'll come down to get you. So me and my

  166. wife went from Singapore pick up Pastor from the hospital

  167. and drove him back. So it starts a long recovery

  168. that the recovery process right got back to his home. Now,

  169. hopping on one leg on the staircase.

  170. Is no fun. I want you to imagine that.

  171. So past tried hopping one leg up the staircase very hard.

  172. You could get the first step correct, but he lets

  173. you look up the stairs like there's a lot of steps.

  174. Hop you can hop up, but hopping down this the

  175. next thing. Right, So anyway decided to sit down on

  176. every step and lift up himself one by one up

  177. the steps. So what do you.

  178. Imagine right now? Verse two?

  179. The Bible says that a man that was crippled at

  180. bird being carried. Right, you come to a place whereby

  181. you're so dependent on people carrying you so that your

  182. needs can be met. So without the people carrying you friends,

  183. the needs you'll never be met.

  184. I got a point. I'm going to get to it afterwards.

  185. But what do you imagine this.

  186. Creeper person because as I read this scripture, I thought

  187. about pastor having.

  188. Going up the steps.

  189. So I've had the privilege of taking Passes to the

  190. hospital a couple of times for him to come down

  191. the steps. Last time used to be about a minute.

  192. Now it takes about fifteen minutes to come down the

  193. steps and to carry pass into the car, wheelchair and.

  194. Stuff like that.

  195. SOA is recovering when so he removes his teachers and

  196. right now is a process of just physiotherapy and stuff

  197. like that. But as I was sharing this, his good lick,

  198. the link that he could lean on depend on, became inflame. Right,

  199. So imagine right now, friends, one link is recovering the

  200. links in flame. You're literally almost like bit reading for

  201. a while for the very moment. If ever been tied

  202. to the bait for a season and for a time, friends,

  203. you and I would know the last thing you want

  204. to do is go to the toilet.

  205. So if you try to imagine it, I to this.

  206. I know how it feels because when I was in

  207. the ICU, the nursey don't need to go to the toilet.

  208. All you need to do right now is just peeing.

  209. Bit and we'll clean for you. Just do everything the

  210. mattress and we'll clean up for you. I look at

  211. the nurse. I'll spare you. I'll hold it in and

  212. health it in for the longest time, because say, for

  213. me to go to the toilet is so painful, It

  214. is so painful to help and something you've been this

  215. injury before. You understand I'm describing this to you and

  216. stuff like that, friends, just to just to paint the

  217. picture of Worse two, because man, creeper by birth, Friends,

  218. you're immobile.

  219. It's not a verse here. Friends, you understand what it means.

  220. You wish you could do something, but you can't, and

  221. you're very dependent on someone else to help you. Because

  222. without the help, friends, this creeper man in Worse two

  223. will not get his needs being met. Now come Worse three.

  224. Now seeing Peter John, all right, I'm sure this cripper

  225. man saw so many people going in and out of temper,

  226. and every person that goes in and out of the

  227. temper is a potential for his needs to be met.

  228. Come on, every person that goes in our temper is

  229. a potential for his needs to be met. It's almost

  230. like someone they tell me for elder. Any single person

  231. to come to church is my potential. Okay, Only Nick

  232. is laughing because he understands almost every single person that

  233. coming into church is my potential elder. So I'm keeping

  234. my heart open. This is okay, you knowing.

  235. No trust to have the problem.

  236. Okay, I know other church blank God, all right, praise hallelujah,

  237. beayful for and multiplier right verse four, come on, fixing

  238. his eyes on him, bitter and with with John and Peter,

  239. say look at us. So verse five he gave his attention,

  240. come on, expecting to receive something from them.

  241. You know this is this this, this is the thing.

  242. I want to just point out to us, a situation

  243. whereby you can come to a place whereby you look

  244. at Peter and John or in our lives as a

  245. place where by I can find my needs to be met.

  246. And that's why sometimes isn't it true that we find

  247. our life frustrating because our needs are not being met

  248. by other people. I'm dependent on you for my happiness,

  249. so you must meet a need.

  250. I'm dependent on.

  251. You for my security, so you have to be there.

  252. If you're not there, I cannot do anything. And this

  253. is a situation. I wanted to be drawn into the

  254. story because comes worth six.

  255. And this is the thing.

  256. And Peter said, still and go, I do not have

  257. I want you to imagine right now. Okay, here's a

  258. cripper man hoping to receive money, right and first thing

  259. that bitter and John said to this cripper man money

  260. I don't have. Right, if you were the creeper person, right,

  261. wouldn't you just turn off radio? Okay, I'll go out

  262. to the Mexican because as he is talking to Peter

  263. and John friends, I'm sure that other people going to

  264. the temper and sometimes us as well.

  265. Okay.

  266. The moment you find that I'm not connecting my attention

  267. right now is being shifted our eyes, a corner of

  268. eyes looking at someone else. Hey, this is by other potential.

  269. And this is what Peter said. But what I do have,

  270. Come on, church, repeat after me.

  271. What I do have I give to you?

  272. Come on, what I do have I give to you.

  273. See many times in our life God wants to remind

  274. us that you have something. In the name of Jesus

  275. Christ of Naza's Rise Up and Walk Verse severa said

  276. that he took it by the right hand.

  277. Lifted him up.

  278. Immediately his feet anchor bones received strength. So he leaping

  279. stood up what entered the temper with them walking, leaping

  280. and praising God. And all people saw him walking and

  281. praising God. Friends, when you encounter God power, there must

  282. be a change in your life. The change doesn't come

  283. from wearing a cross on your neck or wearing.

  284. The Christian T shirt.

  285. There has to be a change whereby your walk is different.

  286. Many times in our life, when we go to life

  287. and when you begin to be in church for the

  288. longest time, there is no change, There is no transformation,

  289. and you come to a place after a while, words

  290. of the Bible becomes like any other book that you read,

  291. and God on it has to go deeper because there

  292. must be a physical change in our life. The way

  293. we speak, the way we treat other people. There has

  294. to be the change. Now, let me try to go

  295. to point one. Point one. This is that don't go

  296. to the temple alone. Yes, do not go to the

  297. temple alone. Don't come to church alone. Don't exist in

  298. the church alone. You need someone else. You need another

  299. brother or sister in your life. Because many times now

  300. journey our life, friends, we think that we can be

  301. alone ranger, which means to say that I just come,

  302. I just go. I don't need to interact. And what happens,

  303. something happened to nobody knows, right, we're not accountable to anyone.

  304. So the Christian faith is not the invert looking faith.

  305. Amen. The Christian faith is not the inward looking faith.

  306. We need John's or a pitter in our life. Many

  307. times we say this to be bird, It's okay, my

  308. niece are all mad.

  309. I don't need anybody to speak to my life.

  310. But the Bible says, okay, when two or three are

  311. gathered together, I'll be there. Come on, who's your two

  312. in your life? You're just praying all by yourself? Come on.

  313. The scripture we always like to use doing a wedding message,

  314. two is better than wow. All those one thing to

  315. get married or married, understand that two is better than one. Right,

  316. And this is the thing.

  317. Friends.

  318. Many times in our life, when one is down, when

  319. one is discouraged, when one is felt so alert, so abandoned,

  320. you have another one to encourage you.

  321. But the modern day.

  322. Sometimes isolates, which means to say that we can come

  323. to a place where by we allow people to isolate

  324. by themselves, which is not healthy. All all of us

  325. been through isolation during COVID. We know what it meanstake

  326. all by yourself in our own room. The only thing

  327. we have was zoom. We were made for human connection

  328. and human touch point. We weren't wired to be alone friends.

  329. No matter how challenging you think making friends. You and

  330. I need to learn how to make friends in our life.

  331. For us to have a job or peter in our lives.

  332. We need to unpack. Everyone say unpacked. You need to

  333. unpack your life in the church. Many times I've found

  334. that people who say I don't have a community in church,

  335. if you do, ask themselves honestly, have you unpacked? Have

  336. you decided to make this place your home? Have you

  337. decided to accept no matter the good and the bad

  338. of a place, every family got good one and also

  339. got some rusty baits. Every family got some perfect thing,

  340. and every family has the imperfection. So it's not rather

  341. or not it is the perfect place, but it's the

  342. place where God wants you to be for this season

  343. of your life. And we have to unpack say that

  344. this is my church, this is my place, this is

  345. my hopes, and these are my leaders.

  346. This is Chiras right. We have to unpack. Friends.

  347. If you don't unpack, you're just living in a hotel.

  348. And the one thing the most challengeable living in a

  349. hotel is living out from a suitcase. Some rooms are

  350. very small and all you have is this tiny way

  351. sufficient for your suitcase to be at. We need to

  352. unpact because to have similar values and goals and desire

  353. to serve and to grow our faith, you need each

  354. other to have similar values, goals and desire to serve

  355. and to grow in God. We need each other. Bitter

  356. and John went to the temple at cheap PM in

  357. the afternoon. I want you to imagine right now, if

  358. one person was tired, the other person said, Hey, this

  359. prior service right now at CHEAPM. Remember we say that

  360. we are committed to go to the church service at CHEAPM.

  361. In your life right now? Is there bitter and John

  362. in your life?

  363. Right now?

  364. Friends, is there bitter and John whereby you will find

  365. friends that people will encourage you. Come on, Gloria, don't

  366. give up yet. There is still hope for tru Us

  367. right in your life. Do you have a bitter enjoyment?

  368. Encourage you? Come on Tonight's your service.

  369. In your life? Right now?

  370. Do you have a bit there and enjoyed that tells

  371. you trust in God? And many times in our lives

  372. we say that it's okay, I think I can manage

  373. life on my own. Yes, I do believe we can,

  374. and I do believe you are very capable. But I

  375. still do believe that we are also staff of encouragement.

  376. We're also staff of affirmation by other people as well.

  377. That's why Asians friend when someone affirm you, sometimes we cry,

  378. we do you see all the realities of My favorite

  379. is Master Chef of Australia and during the time whereby

  380. they do the interview of all the contestant and typical

  381. Malaysian former Malaysia who migrated there, right, I say, what

  382. are you doing right now? I'm doing It's always finance

  383. or engineering. It's always finance or engineering. I say, why

  384. are you doing finance? You got lots of recipe to

  385. be shared with the rest of the world. Why are

  386. you hiding your talent behind the computer? My parents asked

  387. me to do finance, but you're beyond finance. You are

  388. a chef in making. With those words, I could see

  389. every contestant cry staff of affirmation. Friends, I've been to

  390. Australia before. I love Australia and wanted to migrate there

  391. until God opened my eyes to say that, no, Malaysia

  392. is better.

  393. It's true.

  394. There's no place with free Wi Fi and Malaysia in

  395. every mama shop. All right, seriously, anyway, we can get

  396. a lot of things done over here. Over there, you apply.

  397. I have to apply for a lot of permits and waiting.

  398. That's beside the point. The point here is this, I've

  399. been there before. I love the place. You know, nice

  400. whether whichever picture you think the sky is really blue

  401. hours it's like off blue, all right. But yet at

  402. the same time, at the same time, I remember going

  403. there and the passes are very good over there, and you

  404. know they put their arms around you, and you know

  405. they love.

  406. To encourage you. They're very good encourage you.

  407. They put my arms around me one time, say you say,

  408. can you you are a legend because all the time

  409. strength growing up friends, or just was You're not good enough.

  410. You're just to pay you know, do better while you

  411. only get ninety four or one hungred you know, got

  412. six more marks or cheap perfection, right, stuff for affirmation

  413. and sometimes in our life friends, although we can do

  414. things alone, we need the John in our life or

  415. the pitter in our life. They say, well done, keep

  416. it up right. Only people with the same values and

  417. goals and motive. We'll go to the temper at three

  418. pm in the afternoon. Come on, only people with the

  419. same values. Very important when you find a life partner.

  420. Find a partner with same values, right. Many times they

  421. just filter people with looks first value second. Only much

  422. later discover their values is very much as important as looks.

  423. Values that will encourage you to lift you up.

  424. That's why the Bible says two is better than one,

  425. because when one decided to be tired, be lazy, the

  426. other one lift him up.

  427. Bible has such a nice one lift him up? Do they?

  428. Modern day context is if the husband is lazy, the

  429. wife just kicking off the bait, right, Only people who

  430. have same values and goals and motivation. We go to

  431. the temper at trepm in the afternoon. How do we

  432. would come to a place whereby they share the same

  433. values and goals? Come on, you say, I mean church

  434. right now, But I don't see people of the same

  435. value as me. There are one friends, if you only

  436. open your eyes. When I first came to church, my

  437. friend brought me to church, and I accept the Christ.

  438. And no he follows his parents to church. He goes

  439. to church and on the Saturday to you fellowship, and

  440. so I follow him. On a Sunday morning, he goes

  441. to church about he lived his house about six fifteen

  442. in the morning, six fifteen in the morning to get

  443. to church. The serf church at studying to serve church

  444. at six forty five, the services at seven thirty. And

  445. I got no choice to follow him. There are days

  446. whereby his house is about two kilometers away, so I live.

  447. I have to wake up and fall something in the

  448. morning to walk to his house for almost about half.

  449. An hour.

  450. To get because I don't want him to come to

  451. always come to my house to pick me up.

  452. So I walk this house.

  453. How do you get the place whereby you have people

  454. of the same values and goals. I want to let

  455. you know a key word. The word is discipleship. The

  456. word is disciple ship, friends and afterward for me, going

  457. to church early in the morning is not a stretch

  458. concept anymore. I know people are some of you are

  459. challenging the morning.

  460. Friends.

  461. But for me, going to church and serving for two

  462. services is not not a problem. We use in our

  463. early days of our church, we used to run full

  464. service on a Sunday, four on a Sunday, as early

  465. as eight am in the morning, all the way until

  466. the last service we finished about six thirty in the

  467. evening or seven in the evening. Been there, done that before?

  468. Don't they visit them anytime soon? But friends the key word.

  469. How do you get people come to the same place

  470. as discipleship When you allow God to disciple you, when

  471. you allow your friends to disciple your leader disciple your friends.

  472. It pushed you to another level of understanding that I

  473. need to get out from my comfort zone. That's why

  474. I started off with the first point. Don't go to

  475. the temper alone, don't go to the temple alone, don't

  476. go to work alone, don't go do life alone. Friends,

  477. because we weren't made for that. Even the richest person

  478. on earth requires someone and encourage you. I was texting

  479. someone I know that you know who's not well. Quite

  480. well to do you just got to know him about

  481. a couple of years ago. We became friends. He say, ken,

  482. I'm not well. I said, I lost. He said, I

  483. lost fifteen kg. And he's an unbeliever, and I just

  484. say he's a title. I say, you know, sir, I

  485. want to encourage you. The church is praying for you.

  486. We are praying for you, believing God will intervened your life.

  487. But hang on to it. You know you're a strong man.

  488. They appreciate it. Thank you so much. I want to

  489. let you know our people around us. If you open

  490. eyes and see people around us, that we could encourage.

  491. So don't do life alone. The second point, it says

  492. that the temper is not just a place for all

  493. needs to be met. Come on, the temper is not

  494. just a place for all needs to be met. Many

  495. people and many communities like to go to church so

  496. that my needs could be met, and we after a while,

  497. we begin to choose of the place of worship as

  498. a place whereby my needs to be met. And if

  499. the place of worship don't meet my needs, don't meet

  500. my physical needs, don't meet my needs, I will gravitate

  501. to somewhere else where my needs can be met. So

  502. the temple is not just a place where it needs

  503. to be met, but it's also how come on, how

  504. we can meet the needs of the temper. The creeper

  505. man was from birth was being carried to the Temper

  506. on a daily basis so his needs can be met.

  507. It seemed acceptable, friends, After all, he's a creeper man.

  508. After this, he couldn't do anything, so it's understandable for

  509. people to carry him. So it's understandable for him to

  510. ask for money, to be even compassionate, to be served

  511. because of his situation. But here's the thing, friends, of

  512. all places is the temper. For as, the Temper is

  513. not just a place of worship, but it's just a

  514. place of faith. Come on, and many times, if you're

  515. going to continue allow the conditions of our life. The

  516. more we allow the conditions of our life to condition us,

  517. to condition our mind, the more we move from faith

  518. to facts to knowledge. What do I mean by that?

  519. I have to remind the leaders recently, in the recent

  520. leaders retreat that we just had last a week that

  521. as a church, don't ever forget we are also a

  522. place or whether in the business of the supernatural. We

  523. are in the business of supernatural. What do I mean

  524. by the business in the business of supernatural? There are

  525. takes in your life which are supernatural friends, which you

  526. and I need to be aware of. When Jesus said

  527. it is finished, friends, is not the end of a

  528. particular project, but it's a start of the resurrection power

  529. that's living in us. We don't see a lot in

  530. this modern day church. But you know, if you were

  531. to move out from the Earth's city and move out

  532. into different uh community, friends, you begin to realize how

  533. real God is. I share this you before I go

  534. and share with you again. We know of people in

  535. our church where by family members was tormented by evil spirit.

  536. Evil spirit.

  537. So such that the person say, my son has six

  538. spirit within him. If you are the pastor, if you're

  539. the leader, of what you do, if someone comes to

  540. you say that my relative here is possessed by evil spirit.

  541. I think that evil. I think the Bible?

  542. What would you do? Friends?

  543. Never forget that we are in the spiritual business. Never forget, friends,

  544. this how God moves. Then, in the name of Jesus,

  545. every niche about, every time shall confess that he is Lord,

  546. that he is God right. So the family try everything,

  547. try everything with temper, including considering going to bring the

  548. sun overseas to a temper in Thailand to exercise the demon.

  549. The price of the quotation for exocism, does someone let

  550. you know, it's about ten thousand ringing for a spirit,

  551. ten thousand ringing for spirit, depending if it's a stronger one,

  552. a bit more work, you truge.

  553. A bit more. And when as.

  554. We begin to hurt it and a few always seed that, wow,

  555. the church is doing it for fear. We are cussing

  556. on people. We're cussing. Sorry, we will love as this situation.

  557. But more more than that, we were just saying that

  558. there is hope in the church. There is hope in

  559. the church, and many times after we forget what it

  560. means that the temper is also a place of faith.

  561. As pastors begin to remove the teachers from his surgery,

  562. after you room the teachers to start the physio, okay,

  563. we're going to start the physio. Then he looked at

  564. me and says, say, who knows after I take out

  565. the teachers, except will come to play whereby I can

  566. stand up praise God, liping and walking and praising God.

  567. Then look at past and they say, oh yeah, thank

  568. you so much. Possa for the reminder, because it's so

  569. easy go with the natural progression, remove the seaches going

  570. to physio. This is what you do. This is the

  571. next step. But when God interviews and God moves, friends,

  572. you and I, we never know. We need to give

  573. room for him. And many times in our life we

  574. don't give room. So the temper is a place of faith.

  575. Come on, but we have allowed different challenges in our

  576. life for us to switch our legs. Come on to

  577. be a place of faith. This is a place of knowledge,

  578. a place whereby our mind is full of our hearts

  579. is so empty, our spirit is so empty. Friends, there's

  580. danger sometimes when we begin to feed and we don't

  581. begin to exercise by faith. Friends, Faith is not just

  582. about giving money. Friends, there's one level of faith. Faith

  583. is also about when people are not well, and we

  584. just pray for people, you know, and then we need

  585. to come to this place whereere we believe God can

  586. move powerful mightily to our prayers as well. Amen, don't

  587. forget that we are in a spiritual business. Second Corinthians

  588. ten worse Tree to five, for we do not for

  589. though we walk in the flesh, we do not walk

  590. according to the flesh. The Bible says Second Corinthians ten

  591. worse Tree says, although we walk in the well in

  592. the flesh. We do not walk according to the flesh. So,

  593. in other words, friends, the better is not in the

  594. flesh something it is spiritual, it is it is worse. Four.

  595. For the weapons of our warfare are not corn, are

  596. not physical, but mighty in God. In pulling down strongholds,

  597. come on pulling down what in pulling down strongholds? And

  598. many times in our lives, friends, we have weapons, but

  599. we don't use. We have prayer, but we don't pray.

  600. We can seek God, but we don't. And this morning

  601. God wants to remind us again, friends, what it means

  602. for ex. Chapter three to come to play whereby we

  603. have become to a situation whereby God you take over

  604. Verse five, casting down arguments and everything that exhausts itself

  605. against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity

  606. of the obedience of Christ. The Bible says that we

  607. have weapons in our warfare that's able to cast down arguments.

  608. In other words, next time you find a place where

  609. by you're constantly in argument with people that you don't

  610. really understand, let's pray. Pray God, you intervene. God, you

  611. intervene in our church. Friends who have experienced many times

  612. where by situation we don't understand, but we just sussort

  613. the lad and we pray, and God, you give clarity

  614. in this situation right now, because everything seeks its own glory,

  615. and the Bible here says everything, every high thing that

  616. exhorts itself against the knowledge of God. First, if you've

  617. ever been tempted friends to do things against God, against.

  618. His word, say this.

  619. I have the power within me, given by God to

  620. pull down every strongholst right now, every thought in my mind.

  621. They can be brought under captivity. It's very easy, very tempting.

  622. Friends to go by needs, go by needs. My needs

  623. are not mad. Therefore this churche is not carring. Right,

  624. my niece are not mad. Past the glory is not

  625. a good pasta. My niece is not mad. The leaders

  626. are not good. My niece is not mad. Homes is

  627. not help helping my niece is not mad. Listress is

  628. not good.

  629. Everything else.

  630. It's us, me, me and me.

  631. And God.

  632. This morning wants to encourage us, wants to encourage you

  633. that friends is beyond your needs. Right now, this is

  634. what do you have Because this is what Peter said

  635. to the creeper back Sue and go, I don't have.

  636. And many times in life we want we always try

  637. to meet the physical need first.

  638. But what I have a gift to you? So what

  639. do you have this morning? Friends?

  640. That you know is from the Word. So this is

  641. what Peter said. See I go, I don't have, But

  642. why I have a gift to you in the name

  643. of Jesus Christ of nature, Rise up and walk?

  644. So what do you have right now? In your life?

  645. There is a spiritual principer that you're able to pass

  646. down to another generation. What is it in your life

  647. right now? There's a spiriture principle that you live by

  648. that you can pass down to the next generation. A

  649. lot of times and parents or older siblings or other

  650. people pass down why would they have? Which is good,

  651. But we also need to pass down spiritual principles that

  652. we have because ultimately, friends, I want to let you

  653. know the fundamentals still works. Let me explain to you

  654. reason why EXTRAS is growing this week by growing smaller.

  655. One of the key reasons is this that after a

  656. while we found that as a church we were meeting

  657. a place of a thousand plus people. Fantast say, we

  658. love the big atmosphere, the big sound, the worship right

  659. the time when we were about thousand plus people. We

  660. hardly need to speak at all one, hardly need to chair,

  661. hardly need to be on the band as well, hardly

  662. need to serve because everything else is taken care. I mean,

  663. we can, but only maybe once a month. Then after

  664. a while while we found out it's not healthy because

  665. we weren't creating an opportunity and the space for people

  666. to exercise their faith. Because it can't be the preacher,

  667. or rather the pastor or the founding past only have

  668. the word.

  669. Pass Gloria has.

  670. A word, and another other creature that takes the stage

  671. has a word. It can't be just because that she

  672. looked youngish, very young. They should have life experience enough

  673. to impart the word. So God spoke to us that

  674. I want you right now to break your churches into

  675. a smaller place, because.

  676. Then everybody get to serve.

  677. Everybody gets to serve God, everybody gets to know what

  678. it means to pray for someone else. So not right

  679. now when we say turn to someone else to pray

  680. for someone else, friends, it's no longer people just look

  681. up in the sky, look down and come on in

  682. this position, wary by. Don't touch me, don't don't talk

  683. to me. Right, But in a small chest like this,

  684. you got no choice that people say, can I pray

  685. for you?

  686. Go like okay?

  687. Right in a big churche whereby you can disappear in

  688. the sea of crowd, nobody knows your name, you can.

  689. You can come in quietly and live quietly.

  690. That's what the serpentined in the in the garden, slitting

  691. into the garden quietly. I'm not saying churches like that,

  692. but you don't understand. You can come in and God

  693. no one really knows your name. But in a small churche,

  694. the meaning you're not here this Sunday, you may get

  695. a text. I'm sure you get a text. If you

  696. didn't get a text, you'll get a text next week.

  697. You don't come leaders here. Right in a small church,

  698. you get to do all this while I'm sharing all

  699. this with you, because we want to create a portunity

  700. whereby your faith in God, what I have I give

  701. to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

  702. And many times in your Christian journey, friends, you have

  703. not given yourself an opportunity to exercise that faith. I

  704. wanted you to know that you know there are sick

  705. people in the Subam Church. There also people are not

  706. well in the Trust Church. So don't go existing alone.

  707. The next time you heard some partners in extras not well,

  708. go into by to visit the person. The person allows

  709. you to visit and pray for the person. Pray for

  710. the person, encourage the person. Don't go be like a

  711. person carrying negative report. I just say you know what

  712. your your medical report said, You're going to die. I

  713. will let you know you're going to die. Don't be

  714. like their friends. Be like what I have I give

  715. to you in the name of Jesus Christ.

  716. Be well.

  717. See many times you don't even look how simple and

  718. how direct the prayer is. Just let me just show

  719. you to if it's Chapter six, verse twelve, For we

  720. do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Come on, we

  721. do not rest against flesh and blood, but against principalities,

  722. against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age,

  723. against the spiritual holds of weakedness in the heavenly places.

  724. So the Bible is reminding us again that our enemy

  725. is not the church person city beside you it's spiritual

  726. against the principalities, against the powers of the rulers of

  727. the darkness of this age. Therefore, word certain, take up

  728. the whole armor of God. Come on, Church, you only

  729. take up the whole armor of God if you realize

  730. and you know what warfare you're in. And many times

  731. in our life you think our warfare is I don't

  732. like Tyrrell. Why woul't you say to him? He's just

  733. no responsor? On Jesus dares that you. Right, it's not him, friends,

  734. And sometimes you allow sorry because I know him, right,

  735. I see him every other day in the office, all right.

  736. Because of that we have allowed, we are allowed different

  737. days us right influence us and said this physical person

  738. is an evil person, and God always causes us to

  739. think differently. One friends, I was I asked a question,

  740. how many of you like to be questioned about your beliefs,

  741. about your stands?

  742. Right? Majority of us here don't like to be questioned

  743. about all stands, isn't it? Why why you do? Why

  744. do you do things this way?

  745. Why cannot be another way? Why cannot make things be easier?

  746. Don't do announcement in church? For example? Send that an

  747. now so by WhatsApp, you save fifteen minutes, give people

  748. the bank account, then you don't even have to ask

  749. for offering. Then people just come to church for the worship.

  750. And the word cutch up by fifty to twenty minutes

  751. of people's time. Sounds like a fantastic idea, But you

  752. know you cannot run church that Wayma, right, right, leaders,

  753. right right, right, right, well, not fully convinced your past

  754. glory or have a problem right here, I expect your

  755. leaders say amen, hallelujah, elder, but no, okay, okay, ex

  756. I just to go for a fasting and prayer for

  757. forty forty days, all right, skating katy, all right. No

  758. one likes to be questioned about their stairs. But when

  759. you're questions, how do you handle this? People were asking us,

  760. all right, question is our color beliefs? And this is

  761. what pass ship with me? You know, people can ask

  762. you anything and everything about what you stand for. How

  763. come your church plan got no full band, for example,

  764. don't have a full band, You got no drummer, you

  765. got no bassis. You know, electric guitar rays can ask

  766. all these Okay, how come your elders are so young?

  767. Our youngest elder, right, now I think just turn forty

  768. years old.

  769. Just turned forty years old.

  770. As idea as the buzz decided to appoint me to

  771. be elder when I was thirty or tray eight, then

  772. I know another church leader toctor Passer about your elder

  773. is so young, he needs to come me elder because

  774. by by ageis I'm his senior. But right now, because

  775. he appointed me to be church elder, I have to

  776. come elder right now, although I'm sixty eight. Come on,

  777. was there any any time when you're questioned about your stands?

  778. Anytime where you're question about your stands? Anytime you're questioned

  779. about your stands, the question either brings you deeper into

  780. your conviction. Come on, you're fully convinced no matter what

  781. question come your way, you will not shake you, or

  782. the question.

  783. Will come your way.

  784. Will shake your foundation, and your stands becomes looser and

  785. looser and looser, and after that one day you don't

  786. have a stand anymore. Many times in our journey, we

  787. don't like people questioning us because you know your conviction.

  788. You know your conviction, but when people do question you,

  789. why do you do this way? People did ask us before?

  790. You know, God has given us colors. But why must

  791. you get all your hosts we wear black and orange?

  792. Why black and orange? We say it's recognizable.

  793. Anywhere.

  794. Yeah, pink colors are recognizable. But God has never given

  795. us pin, never told us to wear pink our stands?

  796. And why why am I sharing this my heart with you?

  797. Because many times in our life, friends, you look at

  798. God's word. All right, the Bible says, stick up the

  799. whole armor of God to make a stand. We are

  800. not in the process of fighting with other people. God

  801. has allowed other people to question our convictions to make

  802. sure that our commissions go deeper in Christ than anything else.

  803. So we know that every church, every church, every church

  804. has a plan on friends, No one church is the same.

  805. We're not going to say the other church is wrong.

  806. We say God has given that the pattern to their church.

  807. But we need to follow the pattern that God has

  808. given us. Be faithful to the pattern that God has

  809. given us. God has given you pattern for your family.

  810. Be faithful to death. Court has given you a spouse.

  811. Be faithful to death. But many times in our life,

  812. first we say, whoa that one woh nicer color? Wow?

  813. Is trending, trending and therefore past the clove. Maybe we

  814. should follow the trend. No, friends, God has never asked

  815. us to follow trend. Chris has always asked us to

  816. follow him. I want let you to know that. So

  817. our church, one thing that is very clear with our

  818. church is this that Pastor has told us that God

  819. has asked us to have a heart. Have a heart

  820. for the eighty percent of the other church in Malaysia,

  821. which are only thirty people in case of may or

  822. may not know. Friends, our church in Malaysia right now

  823. is not in a very good place because majority of

  824. the senior passes in Malaysia are in the retirement age.

  825. In the retirement age, majority of other churches around outside

  826. of playing value, outside of the big church, are in

  827. the sixties and seventies. And they got no one else

  828. to pass the church too, not because they got no money,

  829. they got no successor. And then this was total. This

  830. was told to us by pass I've been praying and

  831. this is what God said to it. As a church

  832. right now, ex church, we must play our part, must

  833. play our part to encourage to raise up, to see

  834. how we could help. Say, what's the point of having

  835. a big building celebrating our own name where the rest

  836. of the other church in the Kingdom of God is suffering.

  837. What's the point of celebrating an amazing sound system where

  838. the rest of the churches in Malaysia are not doing well.

  839. I'm sharing my hat.

  840. Out with you because the Bible says, take up the

  841. whole armor of God. Therefore you're able to withstand the

  842. evil day, the evil difference. Here's the thing about being

  843. about the evil day. If you know it's either you

  844. or what is it?

  845. Correct?

  846. Right, you know it's bad for your health, you won't

  847. eat it. But some things are at the borderline good

  848. and you think it's many gibber, fatty pot. Come on,

  849. you know it, well, it's tasty, right. I want to

  850. say it's the healthiest because it's organic, right, organic? But

  851. yet you know, come on, it is not good if

  852. you're in the condition borderline.

  853. Correct.

  854. But many times we think either, oh, this must be bad,

  855. and that's why we get so worked without thinking we

  856. see better guys either because you see the word bitter. Really,

  857. the Bible says, don't take anything better in your life.

  858. The flow of the spirit is what joy love pieces.

  859. There's no betterness there. Right, Come on, you said, come on,

  860. I'm having fun with you, all right, It's okay, xtrak

  861. a lot of time on. I'm serious. I won't to

  862. let you know. Last time read the extra Bagan Friens.

  863. I thought I was late. I left you about eleven twenty.

  864. I got there by eleven thirty five. They're still in

  865. the worship. They haven't done thennounce one yet. And I

  866. said there to myself, I can have more time to us.

  867. So this time give them more, give extra small time, right,

  868. so I know I gotta die. Okay, we send even this.

  869. I'm going to this how I'm going to close next

  870. ten minutes. Because if it's evil, you're a white. But

  871. what happened something is very deceptive, correct deceptive, and you

  872. told that. So this can't be evil. This can't be either.

  873. Look look at the last statement that the humans sense.

  874. The Pharisees said to Jesus, if you were the son

  875. of God, if you are the son of God, bring

  876. yourself down from the cross. Whilst we see that you're

  877. able to deliver yourself from the cross, we will worship you.

  878. We will. This is a religious.

  879. Teacher say we finally acknowledge that you are the son

  880. of God. Sounds a very good proposition, don't have to die,

  881. and all the religious pharirases we acknowledge, but this is

  882. not God's plans. Come on, why is even because it's

  883. so tempting. You're in the midst of your pain and

  884. someone offer you a way out. If you do this

  885. all right, if we acknowledge it, but you just say

  886. it away from me, it is finished. So pack up

  887. the whole armor of God, friends, and we stand in

  888. the evin day, and having done all stand, make us

  889. stand friends your faith. This is a temple of faith,

  890. not a temple of facts. Not just my needs to

  891. be met, I need to help to meet the needs

  892. of the temple as well. And finally, friends, I'm just

  893. gonna do this.

  894. So what do you have? What do you have?

  895. This? Let me try and give this to you. Metal chapter.

  896. It was eight to nine Metal chapter. It was it

  897. to the sent you answer and say, Lord, I am

  898. not worthy that you should come under my roof, But

  899. only speak a word, my servant.

  900. Will be healed. Verse nine.

  901. For I also a man under authority, having soldiers under me,

  902. I am a man under authority.

  903. Friends, I want to encourage you.

  904. Why Di Peter has such confidence and say what I

  905. do have friends. It comes from a life understanding authority.

  906. Come on, what I do have I give to you

  907. comes from a life understanding authority.

  908. And here's an example.

  909. The Roman soldiers said to Jesus, I'm not worthy for

  910. you to come under my roof, But.

  911. Speak the word. My servant will be healed.

  912. And the Roman cent you understood the authority of Jesus

  913. when he the spoken word has power to change one's life.

  914. So when you read God's word the Bible says, the

  915. Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in one

  916. the next semen, you find yourself deterale and having this

  917. anxiety or panic attack, read the scripture and declare yourself,

  918. the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not be in one.

  919. The next seen you have to face your enemy. Although

  920. God prepared the table before my enemy, Surely goodness and

  921. mercy shall follow me. For the rest of my life.

  922. I will not fear. And this is the thing that

  923. God wants us to remember, that what I do have

  924. comes from a life understanding authority of His word over situation.

  925. The ultimate result is this is that alive that's transformed.

  926. You know when the life that's transforms. Very easy, my friends,

  927. other people can see it. I got a text yesterday

  928. from Pastors say, Hey, if you happen to be in

  929. the pharmacies, could you have me to buy some medication

  930. to my regular pharmacies. I pick up my medication for me,

  931. So I went there. I went there, just dropped by there. Hey, uh,

  932. I'm here to do by medication for passa Kennev and

  933. this medication is neat. The first thing that pharmacies asked

  934. me a question, are you his brother? I say, why

  935. are you Pasan's brother? I say why you may similar looks. No,

  936. the way you speak sounded so much like pastor. I

  937. get a bit confused. I understand why. If you ever

  938. talk to a passable before friends, there's a certain way,

  939. that certain face.

  940. He'll greet people.

  941. Very genter, very welcoming, very engaging, and some of through

  942. my years I know possible thirty or years, I pick

  943. up the similar habit as well. So alive, there's an authority,

  944. is a life that's transformed. And you know, I'm friends

  945. see many types in our life. Friends, it is hammon

  946. clothes we know of the world, but not necessary. The

  947. word is dwelling in our hearts. That's why in situation. Friends,

  948. we don't declare by faith. We always declare how hard

  949. it is.

  950. And God this money wants to challenge us.

  951. Friends, as I close right now, to challenge in the

  952. way we think, in the way we think, in the

  953. way we live our life. Next time, don't say that

  954. you don't have. Don't say that you don't have, but say, God,

  955. you shall provide all my naeds. So therefore I want

  956. to surrender this before you. The declaration of faith to

  957. our lives is so key and so important. When Jesus

  958. saying it is finish, it's not saying he did say die,

  959. he says Finnish.

  960. Basically, it just means that he achieved.

  961. What he needs to achieve is for all mankind so

  962. that we could experience the resurrection the power of Christ.

  963. As I close right now, say what do you have

  964. in your hands? Like one more point by I leave it.

  965. Next time, what do you have? What you have right now?

  966. See and go? Many people just think see when go,

  967. it's all that we have, which means to say all

  968. that we have is just make to our hands. But

  969. there are things right now that are supernatural.

  970. Stee and go.

  971. I do not have, But what I have I give

  972. to you as I close friends. My encouragement to you

  973. for this week is this. Remember you're in the spiritual

  974. calling of spiritual life. Remember friends, that you're not here

  975. to do life alone. We can pray. As I close friends,

  976. I'm not sure where you are with your journey. I'm

  977. fully convinced of this that the fundamental still works the same,

  978. I want to say, spirit the same desire to start

  979. the church frety five years ago to where we are

  980. at right now.

  981. It must work. If we grow smaller as thought.

  982. Oh, you must understand the fundamental still works at day

  983. of the day. The temptation here is this is that, oh,

  984. if you do this, then you grow. If you do that,

  985. you grow. No push the word I will draw all men.

  986. As I close friends, I want to encourage you. Really,

  987. some of you are amazing, amazing people here. And this

  988. is what I was just telling past a couple of

  989. days ago. As you know, I like to just share

  990. my life journey with all. I was just telling past

  991. this pasta. I think we have another twenty twenty five years,

  992. thirty years not long, but not shot.

  993. My time.

  994. We wish the t would be in our eighties. Really,

  995. I like to take a long term view of things.

  996. We'll be in our eighties and how would it look

  997. like extra extraras or extra combank. And when we are

  998. in our eighties, how wild passa lawyer looks like? How

  999. to us look like the next ten years fifteen years?

1000. Because if it's if it's just week after we just preaching,

1001. then we have a grow up people that knows the

1002. word very well, but no power. And God this is

1003. one he wants to remind us again. I come with

1004. percisive of words, but power first Corinthians. I think Chapter

1005. one or two, and many times in our life, friends

1006. we have we are so knowledgeable and friends, I want

1007. let you know if we are live in a very

1008. knowledgeable generation. This is the next generation. They're so knowledgeable, friends,

1009. you can't outsmart them. They are very smart. But what

1010. they lack is the like experience, power, power, transformation. Knowledge

1011. really doesn't transform lives. Owning Jesus transform lives. At the

1012. end of the day, Pasty, in the next twenty five

1013. thirty years, you say, the fundamental still works, be fit

1014. through to the fundamentals God has given us. Believing young

1015. people is the fundamental that we hold very strongly.

1016. Yes, I want to let you know.

1017. The leaders in the extras you make mistakes, Yes, when

1018. you are sicking, they never call you. Yes, I will

1019. let you know. They be prepared for that. It does

1020. like curage you. They may not encourage you. They may

1021. just ask you just just get out on your feet

1022. and walk. Yes, but it's all right. As I close

1023. right now, friends, what do you have? I know what

1024. I have. Friends, in my journey with the Lord for

1025. the past thirty years, I know what I have.

1026. But what do you have? Friends? As I close, we

1027. just give that a top before I pray.

1028. Because so important for us, because when you go to

1029. work tomorrow, when you go to your college tomorrow, friends,

1030. she'd be so tempted to look for look different things.

1031. But the assurance is this Jesus Christ, the resurrection power

  1032. within us is sufficient.

1033. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1034. information on our church, please visit as Church Org. We

1035. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

1036. this week is going to be a good week. I

1037. hit for you. God bless
